Psalm 22, for those of you who are particularly astute and know your Bible well, 00:19:57.300 --> 00:20:02.860 should remind you of probably the most great example of suffering in human history. It is one of the most famous lines in the whole of the Bible. 00:20:40.279 --> 00:20:44.299 And in fact, the words in Psalm 22, I don't know if you've realized this, 00:20:44.819 --> 00:20:51.019 they are the exact words that Jesus says on the cross in Mark chapter 15 and Matthew 20, 17. 00:20:51.440 --> 00:20:52.960 And that's not a mistake. 00:20:54.059 --> 00:20:58.700 See, Jesus is pointing at 00:23:02.120 The suffering that I'm going through is Psalm 22. 00:23:02.320 --> 00:23:05.660 It's the deepest, darkest depths of anguish. 00:23:05.660 --> 00:23:13.800 We can in part understand Jesus' suffering by looking at Psalm 22. 00:23:14.380 --> 00:23:21.900 And in that suffering, Jesus tells us that true comfort is found in God alone. 00:23:23.480 --> 00:23:29.160 See, he finds comfort just
