00:00:41.519 --> 00:00:43.600 and to become familiarized. 00:00:43.600 --> 00:00:46.200 Maybe it's been a while since you've read Ezra, 00:00:46.200 --> 00:00:48.439 or maybe you haven't read Ezra before. 00:00:48.439 --> 00:00:50.799 It's to become familiar with the book, 00:00:50.799 --> 00:00:53.560 this specific book in the Bible. 00:00:53.560 --> 00:00:56.079 We're going to be reading wonderful connection 00:01:45.439 --> 00:01:47.560 that we find in Scripture. 00:01:47.560 --> 00:01:49.200 And you know, as Christians, 00:01:49.200 --> 00:01:52.320 we believe that the Word of God over chapter two 00:35:30.039 --> 00:35:35.039 and then chapter eight and the ending of chapter 10. 00:35:35.199 --> 00:35:39.439 A lot of that has to do with the list of names. 00:35:39.440 --> 00:35:43.079 And if we wanted to talk about having an entire chapter 00:35:43.079 --> 00:35:45.320 designated to listing of the names, 00:35:45.320 --> 00:35:47.000 that not only would take more time, 00:36:37.679 God provided the mission, the people and the resources, 00:36:37.679 --> 00:36:39.119 to accomplish this. 00:36:40.039 --> 00:36:43.359 How many of you have tried building something, 00:36:43.359 --> 00:36:44.759 let alone a house? 00:36:45.719 --> 00:36:48.839 When's the last time you tried building a temple? 00:36:48.839 --> 00:36:49.679 Right? 00:36:49.679 --> 00:36:53.000 The amount of resources it takes to construct anything, 00:36:53.000 --> 00:36:55.359 let alone rebuild something. 00:36:55.359 --> 00:36:56.919 It takes a lot. 00:36:56.919 --> 00:36:59.399 It takes a great deal of people. 00:36:59.400 --> 00:37:01.599 It takes a mission. 00:37:01.599 --> 00:37:03.880 It takes vision, so to speak. 00:37:04.760 --> 00:37:07.960 And despite sin that was happening, 00:38:00.519 There may be names that you're like, 00:38:00.519 --> 00:38:02.519 who names their kid this? 00:38:02.519 --> 00:38:04.920 Right, there may be different towns here. 00:38:04.920 --> 00:38:07.160 Who names their town that? 00:38:07.160 --> 00:38:10.360 And the reality is all of the books of the Bible 00:38:10.360 --> 00:38:14.680 have such significance that there's so many lessons 00:38:14.680 --> 00:38:16.400 that we can learn. 00:38:16.400 --> 00:38:19.440 And I'm sure that for many of you in reading this, 00:38:19.440 --> 00:38:21.860 reading out loud or following along, might have read this five times, 00:38:39.380 --> 00:38:41.820 well, maybe the sixth time the Lord might have revealed 00:38:41.820 --> 00:38:43.620 something to you, or the seventh time, 00:38:43.620 00:39:19.300 --> 00:39:21.300 it makes sense to have milk. 00:39:21.300 --> 00:39:23.580 It makes sense to have formula. 00:39:24.540 --> 00:39:27.620 I mean, if you give a newborn a steak, 00:39:28.900 --> 00:39:30.700 that's quite an image there. 00:39:30.700 --> 00:39:32.980 But as you progress and you get older, 00:39:32.980 --> 00:39:35.100 you start having other kinds of food. 00:39:35.100 --> 00:39:37.660 You might say, mom, I don't want milk anymore. 00:39:37.660 --> 00:39:40.320 I'd like mac and cheese, and then as you get older, 00:39:40.320 --> 00:39:41.640 I don't the same way, spiritually, we mature. 00:39:57.619 --> 00:40:01.340 We're on this path of discipleship, right? 00:40:01.340 --> 00:40:04.460 Knowing the Lord, growing in Him, 00:40:04.460 --> 00:40:09.460 and in all of this, acting upon this faith, 00:40:09.460 --> 00:40:13.579 doing good in the name of Christ. 00:40:13.579 --> 00:40:16.659 And that is an equal importance. 00:40:16.659 --> 00:40:19.059 We're called to build up the church 00:40:19.059 --> 00:40:21.659 and to build up Christian community. 00:40:21.659 --> 00:40:26.219 Despite the adversities that may come our way, interesting that at the end of Ezra, 00:41:32.980 --> 00:41:34.539 that's when they had to deal with it? 00:41:34.539 --> 00:41:39.179 You would think they'd have to deal with it first and foremost. 00:41:39.179 --> 00:41:41.900 But the idea is one way or another, 00:41:41.900 --> 00:41:43.219 sin will be addressed. 00:41:43.219 --> 00:41:44.460 And in the same way, 00:41:44.460 --> 00:41:46.980
