in turmoil. 00:08:20.560 --> 00:08:23.199 Matthew tells us that he was sorrowful and troubled. 00:08:24.779 --> 00:08:26.079 We've been going through Matthew. 00:08:26.939 --> 00:08:28.939 And we've seen Jesus do some amazing things. 00:08:29.479 --> 00:08:31.240 We've seen his compassion on display. 00:08:31.479 --> 00:08:34.419 We've seen him kind of struggle with patience with his disciples. 00:08:36.159 --> 00:08:38.100 But we haven't seen anything like this before. 00:08:40.039 --> 00:08:44.279 We haven't seen Jesus sorrowful and troubled before. 00:08:44.279 --> 00:08:53.279 These words are getting at a depth of hardship, of travail, of anguish. 00:08:53.279 --> 00:09:03.759 And so some of you in this room, when you start hearing these words associated with Jesus, you may start feeling a little uncomfortable. 00:09:03.759 --> 00:09:15.299 This is some significant emotional depth and travail our Savior's experiencing. 00:09:15.299 --> 00:09:21.399 We see him longing for companionship. 00:09:22.699 --> 00:09:27.039 He wants these three, his inner circle, to come with him. 00:09:27.819 --> 00:09:28.919 Be close. 00:09:28.919 --> 00:09:38.579 And so here in just the get at the importance and significance, 00:10:53.919 --> 00:10:56.500 the depth with which we are feeling about something. 00:10:56.500 --> 00:11:05.519 But Jesus, when he says, I'm sorrowful even to
