to remain 00:00:37.179 --> 00:00:39.439 without outside influence. 00:00:39.880 --> 00:00:44.600 Or this is because of just the geographic location of where they live. 00:00:44.719 --> 00:00:47.920 Sometimes it's just impossible to get there. 00:00:49.520 --> 00:00:52.240 So the missionaries were very excited. 00:00:52.240 --> 00:00:57.460 They made the contact with this group of people 00:00:57.460 --> 00:01:05.719 and they were hoping to bring the good news of Jesus to this group of people. 00:01:06.599 --> 00:01:13.840 So the missionaries got to this place where these people 00:01:13.840 --> 00:01:17.420 didn't really have much contact with the outsiders. 00:01:17.420 --> 00:01:23.359 And they were very thankful that the elders and the chief of the clan 00:01:23.359 --> 00:05:18.040 So God makes covenant with Abraham, which contains threefold blessings. 00:05:18.540 --> 00:05:20.879 The first is numerical blessing. 00:05:21.920 --> 00:05:24.800 The second is a geographical blessing. 00:05:25.759 --> 00:05:29.300 And the third is spiritual blessing. 00:05:30.439 --> 00:05:33.500 Let's look at verses 1 through 6 together. 00:05:33.500 --> 00:05:41.879 After just pointing out a natural phenomenon? 00:10:58.500 --> 00:11:00.080 A Bible commentator said, 00:11:00.500 --> 00:11:02.200 these birds of prey 00:11:02.200 --> 00:11:05.480 symbolize Israel's enemies, 00:11:06.240 --> 00:11:07.259 the unclean, 00:11:07.639 --> 00:11:09.200 the idol-worshipping nations 00:11:09.200 --> 00:11:11.000 that surround Israel. 00:11:11.000 --> 00:11:14.899 I also believe that spiritually, 00:11:15.840 --> 00:11:18.539 this symbolizes the schemes of the devil, 00:11:19.340 --> 00:11:21.320 trying to distract, deceive, 00:11:21.879 --> 00:11:23.840 and sabotage
