news came to them. 00:08:08.459 --> 00:08:09.819 Good news came to Israel, 00:08:10.019 --> 00:08:11.699 that God would deliver them from slavery 00:08:11.699 --> 00:08:14.259 and bring them to a land of prosperity and security. 00:08:14.899 --> 00:08:16.859 And now here, the good news is coming to us, 00:08:17.120 --> 00:08:20.439 that Jesus, when he died on the cross and rose again 00:08:20.439 --> 00:08:22.120 and ascended to heaven, 00:08:22.120 --> 00:08:25.899 he delivers us from the slavery of sin 00:08:25.899 --> 00:08:30.280 to bring us into a heavenly rest now. 00:08:30.379 --> family 00:10:35.779 --> 00:10:38.460 and having, you know, a grandfather who was religious 00:10:38.460 --> 00:10:40.700 and having friends that are religious, 00:10:41.060 --> 00:10:43.060 I thought that somehow God would have mercy on me. 00:10:43.540 --> 00:10:45.060 Just for having those things, 00:10:45.120 --> 00:10:46.060 being in the right circles, 00:10:46.240 --> 00:10:48.280 being born
