This morning I'd like to highlight three important truths from Psalm 127 00:05:02.120 --> 00:05:09.620 that the poet has given to encourage you to greater dependence on the Lord. 00:05:11.040 --> 00:05:26.780 Unless the Lord watches over the city, 00:05:27.980 --> 00:05:31.340 the watchman stays awake in vain. 00:05:33.580 --> 00:05:37.360 Now this psalm begins with a proverb. 00:05:37.600 --> 00:05:41.300 That's one reason why they categorize it as a wisdom psalm. 00:05:41.300 --> 00:05:48.199 The proverb serves as a merciful reminder and warning. 00:05:49.900 --> 00:05:51.079 In it, God wants us, 00:05:51.660 --> 00:05:54.139 He warns us, that is, 00:05:54.660 --> 00:05:59.360 that it's possible to be deceived by a false sense of security. 00:06:01.139 --> 00:06:02.920 So the first
