[2:52] Good morning Good morning It's good to be here Let me see if I can fix this God just took it off by accident It's good to be here and I am glad to see you here Because you know what it's like to preach to empty pews Not a whole lot of fun Tell you what, I'm just going to put it in my pocket How's that going to work?
[3:19] That'll do We, yes, we've been here This will be our third time Since your pastor and his family are here And we are here to see them You are just You happen to be here too So we're glad for that But we came to see them For the most part I wish you would take your Bibles and turn to Oh, let's go to in a little bit And we'll be there in a little bit And yes, I was here My wife and I were here And it would have been, I think, the fall of 98 That was our last year on deputation Raising support to go over to Poland And we came through here Also down to Bayview As far as this area And moved out from there And then the next, I think, the next June We were, very beginning, first week of June We were of 99 that we were in Poland Stayed there for about 20 years
[4:20] And prior to that, I'd been an assistant pastor Where your pastor had also been an assistant For about 20 years as well I mentioned that to a fellow that came through our church We're up in Treasure Valley Baptist Church In Boise, Idaho area And that's where we've relocated Since we came off the field And I was talking to a missionary I think he was there on a Wednesday night And whatever And as we're talking I just mentioned to him What I just mentioned to you And he looked at me and said Are you talking about being all these years here And all these years down And I look at you and I think Man, you're only 50 years old I appreciated him Very much Whoever uttered that he's old Back in back of me there And by the way My kids just got scratched out of the wheel But that fellow's name is on the wheel now All right, anyway Enough of that But we are glad to be here We count it a privilege Not only to be here
[5:21] In the great state of California Well, it was It was A great state of California It's unfortunate with the politics nowadays What it has turned into But we'll touch on that a little bit Not for California's sake But we'll touch on it a little bit Regarding this message and all I'd like to If you'll allow me This morning I'd like to put God back on the throne And, you know Science has been elevated And deified So much Our governments are the answer You know, the first time That I came here Since our son and his family Were here About a year and a half ago Almost I had an opportunity again To preach a morning message And I preached the message On Is there hope in your heart?
[6:16] And of course That was again A year and a half ago And that was at the so-called beginnings And that was in maybe July So this is already All this kind of foolishness That's going around about us Had only been going on For a few months and all And of course We thought You know, we'd see the end in sight And everything else And here we are Almost two years Later And we're still seeing The same foolishness Going on around us And we're still seeing The lockdowns And whatever else And now, you know They've changed things And so, you know Of course You've got the mandated Vaccinations and whatnot And, you know Those kind of You know, mandates And forced things and all And just people trying to Control Looking to government To find the answers Looking to science To find the answers And how come people Aren't looking to God To find the answers How come just You know I told Brother Morton You know, when he was Coming up front here To start the lead singing I said, well Pick out some good ones And I said, no
[7:17] I'm going to pick out All the bad ones today Because we've got to go Through the whole book anyway But he started out with Crown him with many crowns And that's what we need to do You know, what is going to get It seems like It seems like now Every week We come up to something new Some new obstacle In the road It just seems You know, the road's Washed out ahead of us And we get around that And then we get into You know, a rock slide And we get around that And then there's a A camper There's been an accident Whatever I mean, it just seems like Everywhere we as Christians Conservative people Of this world It's just Gone berserk I mean What is it going to be next?
[8:02] You know, you got the wokeism You had the riots before And all Of course Peaceful demonstrations As they said With the flames In back of the reporter And everything else Well, for the most part They're peaceful demonstrations I guess so I guess it was just A weedy roast You know, in the back of them Or whatever else But the wokeism The tearing down You know, the statues And everything else Critical race theory Whoever thought A critical race theory Even a year ago We weren't talking about that I wouldn't guess And all of a sudden These things keep popping up Gender identity I don't have a problem with that I mean, I never had a problem with that But people are losing their jobs Because they believe That there's two genders How is that possible?
[8:55] I mean, we When I remember the story When our youngest Or our oldest I'm sorry Our oldest was born Joy And we were down in Pensacola Going to Bible school And we went over to Santa Rosa To a hospital there And Dr. Tim's I don't remember the doctors That we had for the other For Toby or for Rose But for some reason I remember the name Dr. Tim's And he kept saying Because of the way Peg was carrying Joy and whatever else That it's a boy And even in delivery As I recall Even in delivery He said it's a boy It's a girl Well, wait a minute Let me ask you Did he ask her?
[9:34] Did he quiz her? Did he sit her down And say, now What would you like to be? There's a guy What's his name? Bill Mayer I think he is He's a liberal fella And all that kind of stuff He's debating Or talking with Chris Cuomo You know, ultra-liberal And whatever And yet this mayor fella Came up and said Yeah, but they shouldn't be Teaching that to three-year-olds Three-year-olds Shouldn't be questioning Their gender, whatever We went over And got to see Samuel There you are Got to see Samuel Play baseball yesterday So before that game started On another field There's these little squirts I don't know what the age group is But these little kids I mean, some I mean, the first baseman On the one team Had to be about that high It seemed like He's got the uniform On, the hat, and the ball You know, the glove And whatever else And they're playing That's what they ought to be doing At that age Just playing ball Just having fun Not worried about What am I?
[10:34] My goodness Inflation That CRT I mentioned before And because if you were to oppose it And then you as a parent Opposing it in public schools Could be You're a terrorist now Domestic terrorist Because you stand up for Your kids In what's right Inflation Supply chains I mean, goodnight Like I say Every other week Or whatever We just come up Against something else This is enough To get you going You know, dizzy And whatever I had vertigo A couple different times Where I had to literally You know, hold on to my bed Because things were spinning around If I moved Just a little too fast Getting down But when you see This stuff happening In front of us It's like a spiritual vertigo Or, you know Mental vertigo That we're going through And how do you stay balanced In this thing?
[11:24] How do you not go under In this thing? You know, if you're If you've got a boat And you're on the seas If you're going to have a storm And the waves are coming up And you don't want to go Into the rocks You know, overnight You've got to put some anchors down To hold your ground And not be drifting away So how are you going to Put your anchor down?
[11:45] How are you going to Not drift away? How are you going to You know, two years of this stuff Is getting to be depressing Isn't it? I mean, it's just Discouraging Depressing I mean, it's just It's not what we thought It would be whatsoever How are you going to keep Your right focus?
[12:02] You know what we need to do? We need to put our focus On God We need our focus To be back on Him We need to realize That He's still on the throne Crown Him With many crowns The Lord upon His throne You know, the Bible says In Psalm 11, 4 The Lord is in His holy temple The Lord's throne Is in heaven His eyes behold His eyelids try The children of men You know, God doesn't sit down God does not take A poll to see whether He's popular or not popular And He's not coming down here To see whether You know, to seek counsel From mankind whatsoever He is the authority He's the one that does Give counsel He is still on the throne And He is still in control Amen And that's just the bottom line There's no getting around it So I want to look at some things This morning About God And let's have a word of prayer Our Father and our God I ask and pray That You'll speak with us today That You'll commune with us That You'll lift our spirits Out of this world
[13:03] To see You on Your throne Lord, we need that We need a vaccination From the ills of this world Lord, this world is racing Pell-mell to the tribulation And they don't even know it And unfortunately They're dragging us along With them, so to speak Lord, we're not going to be there We're not going through that We know that We're going to be raptured Out of here Either you're going to take The undertaker or the uppertaker One of the two Is going to get us Long before that tribulation Comes upon this world But Lord, that's where it's headed And that's what Satan's involved with And that's who's manipulating All that we see about us Lord, help us to get our eyes Off of that Help us not to just be So utterly concerned And consumed By what is coming up Tomorrow That we lose focus On what's going to be on Going on beyond that In eternity Help focus our attention In Jesus' name On you
[14:03] Amen Now look at Psalm 29 Please Psalm 29 And look at just one verse For a second In verse 3 And we will go to a couple Of verses this morning If time permits Your pastor wanted me to Turn on this microphone And wait until I came up here Because he didn't want me To wear out the batteries Ahead of time Because he knew I'd probably go Go So what time is the meal Going to be brought here?
[14:34] Probably about 12 o'clock 12 o'clock Alright, alright So it's good that those doors Are closed So if The food The rest of the food And meat And all get here You won't Get the smells Coming into here And I can keep you A little bit Alright So we're in Psalm 29 I want you to look with me In verse 3 The voice of the Lord Is upon the waters The God of glory Thundereth The Lord Is upon many waters It uses the term The God of glory And you know We read our Bible We see the word glory Over and over And over again And when I When I studied And prepared this In fact I delivered this message In Poland One time And actually What I'm going to talk about Today I've condensed I had four There's four parts To this message Today This morning rather Is the
[15:34] It's the It's the meat It's the meal And tonight I want to bring the dessert So if you like dessert Like I like dessert Then you want to come out tonight Because it's dessert It's It's the conclusion Of this message tonight And I don't like to do that In the sense of promoting You know Myself So to speak And that's not it at all I think What I have to say tonight Would be an encouragement To you And as it Has been to me But when I look at the word glory I think You know I scratch my head And I say Okay What does that mean?
[16:07] You know The God of glory Years ago I put together a message You know Walking with God And I was sitting there It was Back when we were in Pennsylvania And I You know Sitting there thinking about What does it mean to walk with God?
[16:20] You think about it Well you know what it is To walk with somebody But you're walking with God How do you walk with God? This is an eternal being How do you walk with Him?
[16:33] And I had I just had to grapple with it In my own mind It sounds like a simple thing And we read about it Walk in the Spirit You're not to fulfill The lust of the flesh That type of a thing But What is the glory of God?
[16:47] Well the Bible Without taking time To look at other places The Bible talks about glory In a couple different ways That kind of give us A little bit of an insight It talks about the glory Of a kingdom For instance In Matthew 4 It says This is the devil Speaking and showeth When Jesus was tempted Showeth him all the kingdoms Of the world And the glory Of them So the kingdom So the kingdom Has glory Then Jesus spoke about Even Solomon In all his glory Was not arrayed Like one of these So a king Can have glory Paul says in 1 Corinthians 15 One glory of the sun Another glory of the moon Another glory of the stars So a kingdom You know Has It's resplendent It's splendor The king You know His might His renown The celestial bodies Their beauty Their magnificence You know It gives us A little bit Of an idea A foggy idea Maybe About the glory Of God Take your Bibles Please go back About 10 chapters To chapter 19
[17:48] Psalm 19 Please And the Bible Says here In verse 1 The heavens It's a verse That we all Are familiar with The heavens declare The glory of God And the firmament Showeth his handiwork So If we liken If we think about The kingdom Or the king Or the heavenly bodies The heavens declare The glory of God So they In some way The heavens declare His magnificence His greatness His majesty In other words I believe If we look at The study And the word glory What we're going to Talk about is This is what the This is the sum Of all things God is That's his glory It's the totality Of his being It's the essence Of who he is That's God It's the aggregate The sum of all That God is And when I studied It through From the beginning To the end I felt I saw three different Things In regards to God's glory
[18:49] Three different Aspects of God's glory So if you will Turn with me To Exodus Chapter 15 Exodus Chapter 15 We're not going To look at Every verse That I have Here And as I Mentioned Already I've condensed What I Originally put Together To be able To put it Together For one Message So even Though we'll Look at A couple Of verses We're only Looking at The tip Of the surface Of what the Bible even Talks about Regarding these Things So Exodus Chapter 15 Look at Verse 11 It says Who is like Under thee O Lord Among the Gods Who is like Thee What does it Say Glorious In what In holiness God's glory Is his holiness You know We're talking About a being That is Perfectly Pure Absolutely Holy Absolutely Righteous
[19:49] Absolutely Sinless Who himself Is full Rich in Mercy And grace And loving Kindness And justice And fairness That's who Our God Is That's the God that Sits on the Throne We say God's still On the Throne Crown him With many Crowns The Lord Upon his Throne That God That's sitting On that Throne Is a Holy God He calls Himself Holy Be ye Holy For I Am Holy That's what He said He's so He's such A contrast To what The world Has to Offer us When the World talks About the For instance The The Hindu Gods Or the Ancient Greek Gods Or they Even Talk about Mohammed's God What type Of a Gods Are these These are In contrast To our God They're Repulsive Gods They're Immoral Gods If you Look at The things In Hinduism And you Look at The Lasciviousness
[20:50] With the Ancient Greek Gods And everything Else That went On with Them It's Just utterly Pathetic When you Think about Can you Honestly Think that A God In heaven Would consider That his Paradise We use Their term Not our Term That there Would be An Allah In heaven That would Have a Paradise And that Paradise Would be Filled with Lasciviousness And fornication And whatever Else That would Be their Heaven My Goodness I mean Well Words come To my Mind And I Don't Want to Utter Them Here in Front Of you And with Younger Children Whatever Else But it's Just Unbelievable To consider That this Would be A being That you Would Actually Worship And yet That would Be Their Concept Their Ultimate Concept Of being In heaven With Their God Hey Our God Is Holy That Doesn't Mean You're Going to Sit In heaven And go Blung Blung Blung Blung
[21:50] You know The harps And all That kind Of stuff My Goodness We come Down here From Idaho And things In Idaho Are you Know They're Getting Colder And You know There's Not The Flowers Aren't Blooming And Whatever Else Like We Come Down Here My Wife And I Just Look At Those Flowers Look Look At The Color There Look At The Color There I Mean We're Loving It But Our God Is There's No Constraints To Our God Think Of All The Different Animals That Are Out There Think Of All The Different Flowers That Are Out There Think Of All The Different Weather That's Out There Too But You Our God To Think That We're Going To Be Bored In Heaven Is Unbelievable I Mean I Don't Know What Heaven Is Going To Be Like Exactly But I Tell You What It's Going To Blow Your Mind That's A Phrase That I Used To Use Before I Got Saved But It's Real It's Going To Blow Your Mind When You Get Up To Glory And You See What's There And You Sit Back And You Say I
[22:51] Thought It Would Be Dull I'm In Glory I'm In Heaven I'm With The God And You Know What We Have Around Us Today We Have These Progressives And These Liberals And The Media And The Elites And They All Think They've Taken The High Ground And They All Think They Have The Answers For Everybody Else And They Act As If They Really Care I Mean Tell Me Something You Have A Problem With Homelessness Around Here That's Obvious And Other Liberal Places Every Liberal City Ends Up Having The Same Problems How Are They Attack How Are These Progressives And Liberals Really Attacking And Helping Those People In That Situation How Is That Possible You Know Carla Mentioned That Down Just Down To The End Of Their Street You Know That There's They Put Up A Jiffy John And Water Access Why So Helping Anybody Out Yet They Consider The
[23:51] Fact That They're Taking The Moral Ground That They Have An Unblemished Character They Really Care You Know Years Ago The Old I Feel Your Pain From Bill Clinton Type Of A Thing They Don't Care They're A Bunch Of Hypocrites They Have One Thing In Mind And That Is Their Own Selfish Ambition To Gain Power Our Bible Says This We We Won't Flip Around Everywhere But It Says Give Unto The Lord In Psalm 29 The Glory Due Unto His Name Worship The Lord In The Beauty Of Holiness And It Says Give Unto The Lord The Glory Due Unto His Name Then Isaiah Says Speaks Of God In Isaiah 57 Whose Name Is Holy His Name Is Holy And We're To Give God The Glory Due To His Name His Holy Name And We're To Give God The Glory And Worship Him In This Beauty Of Holiness You Know What God's Holiness Allows Us To Do It
[24:53] Allows Us To Do With God What We Cannot Do With Those That Try To Lead Us In This Country It Allows Us To Trust Him You Can Trust God You Can't Trust The Politicians Here It's Just The Last Majority Just Don't And They're Looking For Their Own Ambition But God They're Governed By Ambition But God Is Governed By His Holy Character He Loves You He Loves Me He Will Care For You And Me We Can Trust Him Whatever Is Going On Around Us Whatever You Know Thinking About The Wind Whatever World Wind Is Going On Around Us Politically Speaking And Trying To Control Us Or Hurt Us In A Certain Direction And As I Said Before As We Seem To Be Going Pell Mel On Our The World Is On Its Way To The Great Tribulation Period We Can Look To God In Heaven He's Still On The Throne He's A Holy God He Loves Us He Cares
[25:53] About Us He Has Our Best Interests In Mind He Hasn't Changed One Bit He He Doesn't Take A Poll To See How He Should Vote On Something He Knows Who He Is You Know When Jesus Christ In John Chapter One They Talked About Jesus Christ Coming He Said We Beheld His Glory And The Verse Goes On To Say Full Of Grace And Truth That's Our God And That's A Loving God That We Have If You're Still Are You Still In Exodus 15 I Didn't Ask You To Turn Around By The Bible Also Says In Psalm 97 The Heavens Declare His Righteousness Remember The Heavens Declare The Glory Of God But It Says The Heavens Declare His Righteousness And The People See His Glory See His Glory A Perfect Righteous Holy God In Him Is No Darkness Whatsoever That's The God That We Serve
[26:53] But Exodus 15 11 Gives Us Another Insight Into A Second Aspect About The Glory Of God It Said In Verse 11 Who Is Like Under The Lord Among The Gods Who Is Like The Glorious And Holiness Fearful And Praises Doing Wonders The Power Of God Is His Glory Our God Is A Powerful God He's Omnipotent He's All Powerful He's Omniscient He's All Knowing He's Omnipresent He's All Presence He's Present Everywhere That's The Kind Of God That We Have There's Nobody That Can Match That God Who Is Like Unto Me As As Your Pastor Said This Morning As Far As God As Savior There's Nobody Else Like Him No Other Savior Well Who Else Is Like Our God Besides God Himself Not Saint Fauci Not Pelosi

[28:54] God Brought The Jews Out Of Egypt How He Parts The Red Sea How He Provides For Them And He Brings Water Gushing Out Of Rocks And He Let's You Know Man Fall From The Heaven How He Took Care Of Them If God Can Take Care Of Them Through That Time Can He Take Care Of Us Through This Time Sure He Can He's An All Powerful God And We Need To Put Him Back On The Throne You Know One Day When He Comes Back Matthew 24 Says You See The Son Of Man Coming In The Clouds Of Heaven With Power And Great Glory You Know We Say Yeah There He Comes But I Tell You What To Be On This Earth And See Him Coming Be Another Fearful Thing Wouldn't It It's One Thing For Us To Say Yes Our Lord Is Coming Back And He'll Destroy The Antichrist And His Armies And Whatever Else And Establish His Kingdom But To Be On This Earth And To Be The Recipient Of That That's A Fearful Thing It's A Fearful Thing To Fall Into The Hands Of Living God And
[29:55] That's What's Going To Happen One Day On This Earth Our God Is A Powerful God Our God The God Of Glory Is A Holy God But The God Of Glory Is A Powerful God So The God That's Sitting on This Think He Think Is He Fretting Oh What Am I Going To Do Next I Didn't Know They Can Do That None Of These Things Bother Our God None Of These Things Cause Him To Sweat Whatsoever None Of These Things Disturb Him I Want You To Turn With Me To Ezekiel Chapter 3 Ezekiel Chapter 3 There's A Third Aspect Of God's Glory That I Want To Talk About So Yes We Have A God That's A God A Holy God And We Can Surely Trust
[30:55] And Confide In Him We Can Rest In Him Because He's Not Going To Do Us Wrong All Things Can Happen To Us You Know All They Live Godly In Christ Jesus Shall Suffer Persecution So Yes We Understand It's Not Like We Can Get Escaped You Know We I Think When I First Got Saved And I Got Saved With The Concept Of The Rapture Right In Front Of Me Got Saved Reading A Book On The Rapture And Everything Else End Times And All That And Boy You Know I Got My Feet Running I Was Just Running Right Off The Bat That's What I Understood And Believed From The When I Got Saved But Listen We Have This Concept And I Everything Is Going To Break Loose Great Tribulation Period And Everything Else But Wait A Minute That Just Doesn't Make Any Sense Does It There's Going To Be Incremental Changes Leading
[31:55] Up To That And Guess What I Surely Believe We're Seeing That In Front Of Us We're Seeing The World Rush Like I've Mentioned Already A Couple Of Times Towards The Tribulation Period We're Seeing Those Incremental Changes As The Devil Manipulates Things To Get This World To Position Where He Can Control It And Get Worship From Everybody And Then Demand The Mark Of The Beast And All That Type Of Things And Speaking Of Vaccinations And All It Just So Bizarre But Who Could Have Thought Listen Two Years Ago At This Moment I Could Have Said Things About You Know About The Devil And How But I Tell You What We Do Now We Can Put It Together We Can See It Because There's A World Wide Pandemic It Swept The Whole World And With Our Technology It Consumed Everybody At The Same Time And All Of These All These Lockdowns
