[0:00] you are, it's not limited to time. This book has a way, it's something far superior to anything any man has ever written. And if you're not convinced, then let me say a few things tonight. The greatest proof, and this is just the absolute greatest proof, that the Bible is not merely a book that man put together and assembled and religious people who wanted some fantasy of an afterlife, toted it around and shoved it down people's throats and brainwashed others and started, you know, crusades. The absolute proof that it's not merely a book that's conceived and produced by man are its fulfilled prophecies. If you have to put one thing on the table, that's what you put on the table. If somebody wants to argue about the book, you say, what are you going to say about its prophecies that are fulfilled? And you may say, well, what does that mean? Well, there are definite and certain historically verified events. Like, it's not just the Bible says it so we have to believe it. I mean, it's historically verified that these people existed, these events took place, and it's also proven that certain events and places and persons and etc., those were written and penned, authentically penned down in this book hundreds, sometimes thousands of years before they happened. Fulfilled prophecies is the greatest proof, the Bible, is from God.

[1:35] These are not predictions, by the way, they're prophecies. They're not like, we got 10 out of 10,000 right so we can, you know, tote and boast it. No. For instance, I have a list of 48 prophecies that were fulfilled in the first coming of Jesus Christ. I read today a book from a guy who, he came out with 61 prophecies that were fulfilled in Jesus Christ's first coming. And they weren't 61 out of 1,000. They were 61 out of 61. Whatever the Bible says was going to happen about that man, there it was, documented. It was written 800 years in some cases, and here he comes down the line, and it happens just as it was said. And so that's just one little thing. And by the way, if it's only 48 particulars, the, what's the word I want?

[2:32] The probability of something like that being even remotely possible is literally it's outside of this world. And that's not an understatement. I've done, read some things and then done the math on it and you can't do it. Your calculator, your computer can't put the number that big. It's not possible. You know how they've tried to research pi down to the decimal and it just goes and goes and goes and goes. Well, the, similar to that, the, the, the probability of these particular prophecies coming to pass in the life of a man, the Lord Jesus Christ, given the time they were given, given the specifics, the place, the person, the line he'd come from, certain words he'd utter in his death, certain people involved in that, the rest, all of these things, trying to line them all up and then say, what's the probability that that would happen? That a man named Jesus would be born in Bethlehem, that he would be taken into Egypt, that he would be raised in Nazareth, all of these things the book said. Once you put it together, the number is ridiculous. You can't even put it on a figure.

[3:41] The figure is something with an exponent that is extremely large and they say there's not even that many electrons in the universe. So we're going somewhere we can't even really fathom.

[3:53] That's just the prophecies. Now, what I want to get into tonight, if you need a reason to believe this book, the prophecies ought to do it for you. And if you're not sure about it, then study it and see if these things are so. Everything that it says would happen comes to pass and it's not been wrong once. But another incredible feature of this Bible, another very incredible feature, one that's really intrigued me over the years and caught my attention was one that displays just as well that it's not manufactured by man is its scientific accuracy. That is how the Bible has proclaimed and revealed some things to be so long before the scientific man or community came up and realized, hey, we should do this. And in some cases, and I'll show you a few of them tonight, in some cases, it took a verse in the Bible to open a man's eyes to realize they're doing it wrong. And I'll show you how this book is scientifically ages ahead of man. And I can only show you a few things that I understand. I'm pretty certain that what's in this book is as far ahead of where we are today. And you think we're somewhere with technology? I bet you this book's got it all. And that's just speculation. I can't prove some of that. So we'll just do the things I can. An incredible feature of this book is its scientific accuracy. When equipment today and methods of study, research, development, all of that progresses, science ends up verifying some things that have been written ages ago in an old Jewish history religious book. Man, just little by little starts to catch up to this. Turn to Genesis chapter one.

[5:49] And let's go through a few of these. And I have a whole list here. I'm not going to give them all to you tonight. But I'll try to give you some. And I hope it helps you to realize that the God of this book, you don't have to be intimidated by somebody with a PhD. Because the God that wrote this book has got his number. Genesis chapter one. And look at verse one. If you just pick this book up and are clueless, the first thing you read is, in the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. As far as scientifically accurate, this Bible teaches that time, matter, and space had a beginning. Now, the scientific world argues and argues and debates and struggles to understand and theorizes. And I've read some websites recently that it's beyond me. I can't understand some of the stuff I'm trying to read, trying to understand their theories. The word is, they're just too complicated for me. I don't have any trouble admitting that. I'm not a physicist and not even close. But all of their statements all end with the word theory. The such and such theory. The such and such theory. And getting synopsis from other guys that are like, kind of put it down to my level, they would say, all of this is unproven.

[7:21] All of this is an attempt to understand. And when they kick out Genesis 1.1, then they're just left with attempts to understand. But in the beginning, the Bible teaches there's a beginning of time, matter, and space. After Moses wrote this, which is years later, after the beginning, when Moses wrote this, about 3,000, about 3,400 years later, a man that you know of named Albert Einstein, he worked and he fought and he struggled with equations and formulas until he came up with something that he declared was general relativity. If you've heard of general relativity, that's Albert Einstein. And in his equations and in his teaching, among several things with gravity and space-time and things, what he came down to was, in his belief, there's a beginning. There was a beginning to time, space, and matter. And men love Albert Einstein. And men have taken his work and they've put it to use and they've taken it and they've tried to run and take off with it, but they can't declare what that beginning is. They're dead stuck with it. And so it's easy to argue or debate with an evolutionist and say, okay, where did that come from? Well, we came from that. Well, okay, where did that come from? And they go all the way back to what point? To a beginning. And they can't identify or explain the beginning. They years ago came up with a bang, which is just complete folly and nonsense, a big bang. And then they've worked a little harder. We'll see something here in a second. They've worked a little harder to try to transform the terminology and to understand it thoroughly. It doesn't get, professing themselves to be wise, they became fools. Now, later, Albert Einstein's equations have been confirmed by experiments that this is consistent, that where he was going with this stuff makes sense. Therefore, in his writings in the scientific community, it makes very clear sense that there had to be a beginning, that it just couldn't exist eternally, forever, like we have it, the universe. There was a beginning. Duh. The Bible said that in Genesis 1, verse 1. The very first, we didn't have to go through thousands of years and studies and equations to believe that and to understand that. Okay, come to Hebrews chapter 11.

[9:58] As far as creation goes, take a look at a verse here in Hebrews chapter 11.

[10:17] It's verse number 3. Through faith we understand, and so without faith we don't understand. But through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Now, if you want to build a house, you build it with material items that appear. You can't have the truck back up and be empty and say, there it is. But you're not God. You can't build a house of things that do not appear.

[10:54] But the Lord God can and did. And the Bible teaches us that God created this universe out of things that don't appear. We might say out of nothing. Out of nothing, he caused it to appear, to come into existence. Now, don't ask me to explain it. I won't be able to help you at all.

[11:14] And if you can, good luck to you. I don't think you will either. Man without faith can't grab this at all. And so man has to come up with theories, ideas of how this could be possible, how we could have come to be. There is material. If you bake chocolate chip cookies, you take certain ingredients and put it together and put it in the oven and out comes the chocolate chip cookie. If the chocolate chip cookie is there on the counter, you know certain ingredients were put together. What the problem with evolution is they've got the chocolate chip cookie, but they pretend that there were no ingredients to put together to make it. And really, that's kind of true as far as that goes because the things that appear, the things which are seen rather, were not made of things which do appear.

[12:05] And now what the evolutionist does is he runs, really, he debates, ridiculously debates, the definition of nothing. The definition of nothing. God created the universe out of nothing.

[12:18] And if you want to laugh or to get mad, look up what is the definition of nothing in physicists, like not in a dictionary, but in some kind of journal of physics. And you'll just get mad reading what they say and suggest and how they try to interpret because what they're doing is they're trying to go all the way back to before the universe existed. And they're trying to give nothing a name or say there's something in nothing. And anyway, enough of that. God created the universe out of nothing. The Word of God says that.

[12:54] Man has ran all the way back and can't find what it created out of and then they even debate the word nothing. Anyway, let's go to Ecclesiastes. You get two places. Psalm 135.

[13:10] And then a few pages, Ecclesiastes 1. Psalm 135, Ecclesiastes 1.

[13:20] And this third thing, where the Bible is scientifically accurate, is in the hydrological cycle, also known as the water cycle, meaning moisture in the atmosphere goes through a continuous cycle, continuous since creation of evaporation, condensation, and then precipitation.

[13:58] And it makes me kind of think that water on this planet that I've ever seen or touched or used has always been here since Genesis 1.1. Now, after the flood with Noah, I can't, I don't know of any other alterations there that God did.

[14:14] There he allowed the windows of heaven to be open. I don't know, maybe since Genesis 8 or 6, 7, 8, the water's always been here. And it's kind of interesting, you read about water in the Bible, who knows?

[14:28] Maybe you've seen that water. Maybe you've actually experienced or touched or drank that water that was from the well in Samaria at one time.

[14:39] I don't know. Maybe. Okay, so Psalm 135, look at verse number 7. He causeth the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth.

[14:51] He maketh lightnings for the rain. So there's the vapors, the water ascending, and there it's descending. He bringeth wind out of his treasuries. Come to Ecclesiastes now, chapter 1. That's a scientifically accurate statement.

[15:07] Ecclesiastes 1, verse 7. Here it expresses the cycle. All the rivers run into the sea, yet the sea is not full. Unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again.

[15:24] And we use the term hydrological cycle. The Bible's been teaching that for a long time before it was ever printed in a science textbook for fourth graders. It's been in the book a long time.

[15:37] Ecclesiastes chapter 1, look at verse 6. Here's another one. There are global wind patterns. Global wind patterns. Verse number 6 says, The wind goeth toward the south and turneth about unto the north.

[15:48] It whirleth about continually and the wind returneth again according to his circuits. According to his circuits. And science completely agrees with this.

[15:59] But you know when they finally recognized and really understood it to be scientifically true? In the 1960s. In the 1960s, technology came about where we could send satellites up into space.

[16:14] And through these satellites, get pictures of our planet and begin to understand and see patterns of weather and wind. And through those weather patterns, man began to establish there are circuits to the wind.

[16:29] Now if you spent your whole life here, you'd know, well those Santa Ana winds come in the fall and winter. And they blow. And they blow from the north to the south or whatever direction exactly that is. And you'd know about that much.

[16:42] But you wouldn't know the overall high and low pressures and the upper winds and the lower winds. And you wouldn't know anything about any of that. And it took a long time for science and man to catch up with little things that were scientifically written hundreds or thousands of years ago in the Bible.

[17:04] All right. Take a look at Isaiah 40. A little bit to your right. Kind of keep you close. Isaiah 40. Isaiah 40.

[17:24] And this is 700 years before Christ. To give you some time. A timing here. Verse number 22. It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth.

[17:39] The circle of the earth. The earth is round, not flat. So saith Isaiah 700 years before Christ. And for ages, man believed or theorized that the earth was flat.

[17:57] Why would he do that? Well, why wouldn't he do that? If he had no knowledge of the heavens, no true knowledge of God, why wouldn't he just assume that, I mean, everywhere I stand, I can look up and see the sky and the sun and the clouds and the ground beneath me.

[18:13] If I went hundreds and hundreds of miles to the east or to the west, thousands of miles, I'm still, you know, I don't feel like I'm on the bottom of the earth. I don't feel like this is a ball. My senses don't tell me this is round.

[18:25] So I would assume that, not having real true navigational ability and instruments. It took astrologers and philosophers and scientists many years to overthrow this theory about a flat earth.

[18:42] The ancient Chinese believed that the earth was flat and square while the heavens above were round. Others believed that the earth consisted of four continents that joined together like a four-leaf clover.

[18:57] The four continents like petals on a flower joined together in a mountain in the middle. This is ancient writings of man and civilizations. This is what they believed about the earth being flat. And it took them quite a while until they fully understood, Oh, Isaiah told us 700 years before Christ?

[19:15] I mean, how far back? It's been in the book the whole time. Now, all of this should start to add up as evidence to something. Look at another thing in Job. Come back to Job 26.

[19:27] I'm going to start running Job 26. And verse number 7.

[19:42] This is Job speaking. You wouldn't have said this. The Bible says, He stretcheth out the north over the empty place and hangeth the earth upon nothing.

[19:54] He hangeth the earth upon nothing. Why, that's scientifically accurate that the earth is suspended in space. You take a little Christmas ornament, a little ball and go hang it on the tree.

[20:05] Now try to just go hang it on nothing. That's what God did with the earth. Just put it out there. Job even told us that. The word of God said that. And all you have to do is believe the Bible.

[20:17] That it's the word of God. And you're scientifically, in Job's day, the oldest book in existence, you're scientifically ahead of every scientist, everything.

[20:28] Every astrologer, philosopher, all of them. The earth is suspended in space. There's a neat one in Jeremiah 33, verse 22. You can look it up later.

[20:39] It describes that the stars, the host of heaven, cannot be numbered. They cannot be numbered. That's what Jeremiah said a long time ago. Well, man's never really believed that.

[20:49] So here's a few facts here. Before about 130 BC, a man named Hipparchus counted 1,022 stars. And he published that out there.

[21:02] There's 1,022. I counted them. And 300 years later, Ptolemy, you may have read his name, P-T-O-L-E-M-Y, Ptolemy.

[21:13] He counted 1,026. So Hipparchus missed four of them. Today, with our telescopes, the scientists claim, this is what they claim.

[21:24] I don't buy all that, but I can't really refute it. They claim there's billions, not of stars, billions of galaxies. And they claim that within those galaxies are billions of stars. And here's the point.

[21:36] If that's even close to being true, if it's even close, you figure out a rate how fast you can count. You figure out a rate how fast you can count in a second.

[21:48] Let's say you can count 100 stars every second. Do you realize how many lifetimes it would take for you to count the stars? Plain of words, you can't count the stars. It's not possible in a human lifetime to count the stars.

[22:03] I have a note here that says it would take 100 trillion years to reach the potential sum of what they suggest. And that's the rate there is at 10 per second.

[22:20] So yeah, stars can't be numbered. Judges describes the stars traveling in their courses above. We even sing that in Great is Thy Faithfulness, Sun, Moon, and Stars, and their courses above.

[22:31] And that's from Judges chapter 5 in the Song of Deborah. And now science gets a little understanding about the heavens and comes to understand the movement of the heavens and the stars.

[22:42] But that was prophetically spoken by a woman in Judges chapter 5 in this book. Huh. Here's a good one. Look at Psalm 8. Psalm 8.

[23:04] And verse number 8. Psalm 8 verse 8. The fowl of the air and the fish of the sea and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.

[23:19] The paths of the seas. Now, there are currents in our oceans. Just like there are winds, cycles, and patterns, there are currents in the oceans as well.

[23:32] And man has, you know, as long back as could be, he's built vessels. He's sailed to some degree. He's sailed with the help of wind, mostly these oceans and these seas.

[23:46] But it wasn't until quite a bit that man set voyage really to go across. Well, I know the Vikings did some of that up north more. But uncovering and understanding these things, a man named Matthew Moray, and I have the date here, in 1855.

[24:10] So this is almost 3,000 years after it was written back here or so. A man named Matthew Moray, he's called the father of oceanography. He took what he read in the Bible.

[24:23] He saw it in the word of God, and he took it literally, and he said, there's got to be something to that. And so as a result, he searched the oceans of the world and discovered and then mapped out the major currents.

[24:35] And by the way, those currents are the exact ones that are used in shipping today. 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, those boats are running those currents.

[24:47] This man mapped them out, and the reason he decided to do it was because he saw it in the word of God. It lit his eyes up to think, hey, I wonder if there's real paths of our sea.

[24:59] And it made sense. All right, we can't finish all these tonight, but let's go back to Leviticus, chapter 15. There's actually a bunch of them here, right in Leviticus.

[25:15] And I won't give you, I'll tell you about hit 13. This one's relevant. Leviticus 13. You know what was in this Bible long before man and science and the medical field ever understood it was certain or proper medical procedures of how to avoid things and how to maintain things, how to suppress certain things.

[25:42] It was in the Bible. God laid it out for these Jews that were wandering around in a wilderness, and he gave them instructions. They didn't come up with this themselves. They didn't learn this from Egypt. This is some stuff that man hasn't even picked up until thousands of years later, the importance of it.

[25:57] Here's one you know all about. Look at Leviticus 13 and verse number 45. And the leper in whom the plague is, his clothes shall be rent and his head bare, and he shall put a covering upon his upper lip.

[26:13] Not upon his lower lip, because that doesn't stop what comes out of your mouth. His upper lip, a face covering. Sounds like a face mask. He'd cover himself up because he's infected. He's unclean.

[26:24] He'd call out. But instead of calling out to the people unclean, he's supposed to have his face covered. I wonder why. Because he's sick. He's diseased. A face mask.

[26:35] Back in Leviticus 13. How about that? In this, and we're not going to study the particulars, but in a lot of Leviticus, and even in Numbers 19, this is 1,500 years before Jesus Christ.

[26:50] This is to give you some timing there. Moses describes such practices as quarantine, which didn't show up until 3,000 years later, sterilization, proper waste disposal, proper handling of dead bodies, and even circumcising the male babies on the eighth, eighth day.

[27:12] That's in the Bible. And do you know why the eighth day? Because a certain vitamin in their system is at its peak at the eighth day. That's not a random number at all.

[27:23] Science will tell you that. Look it up. And that boy can handle it. The clotting agent in the blood is at its peak on day number eight. Now, modern medical capabilities can bypass that, but if you're out in the desert, you can't.

[27:40] And God knew what he was talking about. There's so many scientific things in this Bible, and this is about this area here, about proper medical procedures. Look at Leviticus 15. You know that there was a black plague that swept over Europe until they started implementing quarantine.

[28:01] And as they started quarantining the sick and quarantining others, the things started to subside. But that thing was running crazy. And that's a biblical mandate in the law of Moses, back here in Leviticus.

[28:14] Here's another one. Leviticus 15. And look at verse number 13. And when he had an issue, or when he that hath an issue is cleansed of his issue, then he shall number to himself seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in running water, and shall be clean.

[28:35] Bathe himself in water, it says in verse 11. He washes clothes, bathes himself in water. But in verse 13, he tells you what kind of running water. Now, somebody got a hold of this verse during the Civil War.

[28:49] And in the Civil War, this man named Joseph Lister, back in 1865, he was trying to attend to the wounded soldiers, and just lines of them in cots or on the ground all over, trying to, they got flesh wounds, they got shot, and their body is weak.

[29:06] They're, you know, trying to reject the bullet inside of them, and they're all these things setting in. And he's going by. Certain men should be recovering. They'd address the situation.

[29:18] They'd clean them up, dress the wound, and they're dying. Week and two weeks later, their bacterial infections are setting in, and they're dying. One out of six men, soldiers that he's attending to, are dropping dead.

[29:32] And this is not a made-up thing. This man read his Bible. This man was a Bible reader. And he read in Leviticus 15. Who reads Leviticus 15? He read in Leviticus 15, and God opened his eyes and said, running water.

[29:47] And he said, he realized it. They were dealing with one man, and some bacteria in the water is just being spread to one, to the next, to the next, to the next.

[29:58] When he changed that out and started using fresh water for each new person, the death rate went from one out of six to one out of 84. That's exactly what was happening.

[30:09] He was killing them. Unintentionally. Ignorantly. Until the word of God, something written 3,000 years before that, until the word of God opened his eyes to proper medical procedures.

[30:23] Had to teach the doctor. The doctor that had his degree. That was working for the government. Yeah, this book knows something. Leviticus 17.

[30:34] We're so close. Look at that one. Leviticus 17, 11. The Bible says, For the life of the flesh is in the blood.

[30:45] It's in the blood. Your life of this body is in the blood. The body without the spirit is dead. You need a spirit to be alive or you'll drop. But you drain the blood out of your body.

[30:58] And you, I talked to a friend of mine who's having a medical procedure and he said, boy, you know, just yesterday he told me, he said, this, this, this getting blood transfusion thing, that's no joke.

[31:10] He said, I was giving blood and I could feel it. I could feel the energy I got when I got that blood, that good blood. The life of the flesh is in the blood. Now, sadly, for thousands of years, doctors, medical professionals thought, someone with a blood disease, we need to drain the blood.

[31:32] We need to get that dirty blood out of them. So they used leeches, things they called bloodletting. And for years, they did this stuff. And what did they do? They weakened and they enhanced their condition and quickened or hastened their fatalities because they took the blood out of their bodies.

[31:55] And then somebody reads the book, the word of God from 1,500 years before Christ, 3,500 years ago where God told them, the life of the flesh is in the blood.

[32:09] You need blood. You can't drain the blood from the body. Science, as science is growing and enhanced and putting things together, they're not ahead of the Bible.

[32:22] This book's been around a lot longer and it knows a lot more. There's a few more things I can say and I won't turn you to it anymore. But things about our atmosphere, things about agriculture and farming, things about the chemical composition of our body.

[32:38] This book says we're dust. It says that's what we're made from, right? He formed man out of the dust of the ground. Dust thou art, to dust thou shalt return. In the Psalms, it says that and it says, of course, back there when he recreated in Exodus, or in Genesis, the chemical composition of the human body is identical to the dirt underneath our feet.

[33:02] You can study it out, break it down and, you know, just go out there and lie down for a couple months and you'll die and just let the weather work on you for a while and you'll just disappear.

[33:15] You'll just go right back to that dust because that's what you're made of. The chemical composition of man and the earth is identical. They're the same basic elements, elementary particles and things.

[33:28] So there's a few more examples but to me, that makes my Bible so much more precious. It's even, it gives me more ammo and it gives me a greater understanding and it enhances my faith.

[33:42] Now, considering these things, either two things are true and we'll conclude with this thought. Either two things are true. Either of two things. One, either the Jewish shepherds that walked around the wilderness and they wandered, either they were smarter and more advanced than the PhDs and the scientists of today with all the technology that they were ahead of it, that they had these truths and they knew it.

[34:08] Either they were smarter or the information that they penned came from a source beyond them, a source outside of their time like what they claim, the word of the Lord.

[34:21] They claim it came from God. Now, if you believe that they were smarter and that they got something from the Egyptians and they worshipped God and had their spiritual ceremonies and such like that, if you think that they, well, maybe they're just smarter than men today, then here's something you have to acknowledge.

[34:38] These guys knew these scientific truths without telescopes, without satellites, without space travel, without microscopes, without computers to analyze their data and there's no evidence of any formulas or equations for them that they've utilized to reach certain conclusions.

[34:58] So, where did they get all that information? And how is it that Moses, much of what Moses and David and Isaiah and Job wrote, we haven't even caught up with or are just catching up with in the last hundred years?

[35:15] The last hundred years, we're catching up to the Bible. And I think there's more in there. I do. So, praise the Lord. I told you the Bible's an amazing book.

[35:27] And let that, if you don't have a faith in that book, then let that be a little bit of ammo for you, a little bit of evidence to you that you've got to make a decision. And not only does that book scientifically accurate, it also says something about your soul.

[35:41] And it tells you that you're going to face the God that spoke these things, that predicted or prophesied of these things, and he's never missed a beat. And he sent his son to pay for your sins.

[35:53] Praise the Lord. Let's be dismissed.
