[0:00] There we go. Isaiah chapter 14. And let's have a word of prayer before we open the scripture.
[0:25] Father, we ask now that you'll bless our Sunday school hour. Thank you for each person that's here in attendance. I pray that their hearts and minds would be attendant to your word. And that we'd gain something from this study.
[0:36] That we'd learn of our adversary, the devil. Help us to be vigilant as you command us to. And to be sober. Help us not to be ignorant of his devices. And may this time be profitable for each of us.
[0:47] We pray that you'll be with our brother Rich and with Linda. As he's teaching and preaching the word of God in Anchor Baptist Church. Pray that he'll be able to be a blessing to them. And I'm sure just his presence is a blessing in itself.
[0:59] But help him to be able to minister the word of God there. We ask in Christ's name. Amen. Amen. Alright, I'm going to pop that back up somehow. Somewhere. Alright, that's where we are.
[1:10] Almost to the end of this point number five. So far we've covered these four methods that our adversary uses to oppose God or to accomplish his mission.
[1:24] And we've studied he uses deception. We've studied he uses temptation. We've studied he uses provocation. And most recently perversion. And saw that in at least five points.
[1:37] And I'm sure many more could be studied. How he uses perversion to oppose the work and the will of God. And now this morning we're going to step into the last method.
[1:48] And that is imitation. Imitation. Imitation. And I think this one, this goes a long way. Really a long, long way by way of individual points. And it's not my intention to take you through every one.
[2:00] We will go through some. And really kind of make the case. But what we'll see here is that our adversary, the devil, counterfeits the work of God. Not just perverts it or attempts to pervert it in our minds and our understanding and in our obedience to his will.
[2:20] But rather he tries to imitate who he is. And it might sound like, well, that can't be done. You can't imitate God. Well, you and I are stupid.
[2:33] We are fallen, ignorant creatures. And we are very easily deceived. And so, yes, he can absolutely imitate and kind of step in between us and a holy God and show that he has something that he can distract us.
[2:51] Well, let's look at the verse here that I wanted to point out how he imitates or his will is anyway. Notice we'll start, well, let's start in verse 12. Isaiah 14, 12.
[3:02] How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning? How art thou cut down to the ground which didst weaken the nations? For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven.
[3:12] I will exalt my throne above the stars of God. I will sit also upon the mountain, a mount of the congregation in the sides of the north. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds. Notice the last phrase.
[3:22] I will be like the Most High. That is his, in his heart, to be like the Most High. Now, I would say this, that Satan is not original because he's imitating the Most High.
[3:39] And while that might sound like it's a slap or a slant or a cut to him, it's not. Because being second best, what is that?
[3:51] What good is that to him? God is the best, right? God is the highest. He is the Most High. And if you're going to be like the Most High, why would you settle for second best?
[4:02] He wants to be like the Most High, right? He's duplicating or impersonating or imitating the very best that there ever was and ever will be. So he's not settling for second best.
[4:14] He's trying to imitate the very best. Now, you know what imitations are. They're so common in our world today. And I'll bet you every one of us has been duped at some time by an imitation or bought something and then realized, oh, that's not what I thought it was.
[4:31] No wonder it was so cheap. And there's imitations of food, of furniture, of shoes, of what? Anything. Watches. Everything that's out there, there's an imitation.
[4:43] And marketers and companies make a lot of money on faking something that's more expensive. And people even imitate other people. I mean, that's a pretty big one. Matter of fact, every one of us in some way have imitated something or someone we've seen on TV or at school growing up or in our home.
[5:02] We are imitators. So they say that imitation is the best form of flattery. And I don't believe that Satan's impersonating God to flatter him, but rather to oppose him.
[5:14] And that's what we're going to study here. Now, you may say, well, how is Satan imitating God, opposing him? Well, it's because he's deceiving the world. And he's deceiving mankind.
[5:26] They think they're setting their eyes on God, but they're setting their eyes on Satan. In the future, they think they're worshiping God. They're worshiping the devil. This is very, very real. So let's take a look at some things here.
[5:38] Keep your place on Isaiah just because we'll come back to it for a moment later. But go to Revelation 16 and we'll jump into this. Revelation 16.
[5:55] And the first point I want to show you, and by way of Satan imitating the Almighty God, is that Satan forms a trinity. Our God is a triune God.
[6:08] In 1 John 5, these three, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost, these three are one. And our God is a trinity. He's called the Godhead. And so Satan forms his own trinity.
[6:22] In reading some works of men, they call it the satanic trinity. Others call it the diabolical trinity. That sounds pretty good. Others call it the unclean or the unholy trinity.
[6:34] But here's a reference to it in one verse. Verse 13. Revelation 16, verse 13. Notice it says, I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
[6:50] Now, in the narrative of Revelation, these characters have already been introduced. In chapter 13, especially, is where the beast shows up, and then another beast who's not named there, but he's later named the false prophet.
[7:04] Here, it's just, they're all three in one verse. I think that later, let me take a look at chapter 20. I believe they're mentioned in one verse again. Yeah, in chapter 20, in verse 10, when it comes to the lake of fire, it says, The devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever.
[7:33] So, there's the three persons, and now let's break that down a little bit closer. The three persons. So, come back in chapter, let's see, let's go back to chapter 12.
[7:46] Revelation 12. We've got the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet. The dragon is an easy one.
[7:59] We've been through here a few times. Let's, verse 9, That great dragon was cast out, that old serpent called the devil and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world.
[8:09] That is the person of Satan. And now, what we'll see here, and just kind of by way of categorizing, the dragon imitates God the Father.
[8:21] And much of this study will display that. And so, I'm just going to let that one be as is, and we'll come back to that and kind of build upon that. So, there's Satan as a dragon.
[8:33] Now, the second person was the beast. Now, look at Revelation 13. And here we're introduced to a beast. This beast is going to be what we know as the Antichrist.
[8:44] He imitates the Son of God. He imitates the Lord Jesus Christ. So, he'll be the second person of this satanic trinity, is the beast. Revelation 13, verse 1, I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea.
[9:00] And you're going to notice that this beast has seven heads, ten horns, upon his horns ten crowns. And it matches very closely to the red dragon of chapter 12, verse 3.
[9:14] And if you peek back there, there's a red dragon, that's Satan, having seven heads, ten horns, seven crowns. So, the difference is the number of crowns, and the one has got more crowns, because it's, as time goes on, that beast who's the man on earth gets more kingdoms.
[9:32] But it's the same character there, but he's in beast form. And what does that mean? Let me just skip to the end of the chapter, and point out something. Revelation 13, verse 8.
[9:45] 18, sorry. Here is wisdom, let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. M-A-N. Man.
[9:55] This is a man. Earlier in a chapter, he's speaking great things. Now, you got your place in Isaiah still. That's what I wanted you to keep it for. Go back there to chapter 14.
[10:06] And we read up to verse 14. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds. I will be like the most high. Isaiah 14, verse 15.
[10:16] Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man? The man, the man, the beast is a man, that made the earth to tremble, and it's shaped the nations?
[10:33] Yes, it is. So, you can lose your place in Isaiah, and come back to Revelation again. So, point number one, the beast imitates the Son of God, in that there's an incarnation, that he becomes a man.
[10:50] Satan becomes a man, indwells a man, and he's called throughout the scripture, the son of perdition. He's called that wicked. There's several references to him.
[11:02] So, the beast is the imitation of the Son of God. I want to just throw a few more points at you, by way of this. We'll be in Revelation a good bit, so keep your place there, but look at 2 Thessalonians chapter 2.
[11:22] 2 Thessalonians chapter 2, Paul warns about the Antichrist, as we call him. Number one, we know that he's a man.
[11:36] So, he has an incarnation. 2 Thessalonians 2, and you'll see verse 3, Let no man deceive you by any means, for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition, who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped.
[12:05] Sounds like Isaiah 14. So that he, a man, as God, sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. So, this man claims to be God.
[12:18] Does that sound familiar? Isn't that why the Jews picked up stones to stone the Lord Jesus Christ? Because he called him, he being a man, made himself equal with God? So, there's an imitation of the very ministry of Jesus Christ, being incarnate God as a man on the earth, and then telling the world he's God, and there's more.
[12:42] Come back to Revelation 17. So, this second person of this satanic trinity, the beast, imitates the Son of God.
[12:53] Revelation 17, and notice verse number 8. The beast, that thou sawest, was, past tense, he existed, lived in the past, and is not, that is, in the present, and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into, notice the word, perdition, like the son of perdition, and then that dwell on the earth, and so forth.
[13:25] And at the end of the verse, it says, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. So, this character, this man, was on the planet, in the past, and is coming back.
[13:38] What does that mean? He's got two comings, as in, two advents. Does that sound like anybody? The incarnation of Jesus Christ, lived as a man, died, departed, and he's coming back.
[13:54] But who's coming back before him? This guy's coming back before him. He's going to beat him to the punch, and show himself that he is God. It's going to deceive the world. So, this imitation, has two parts to his ministry, and a little thorough study through here, shows that the timing, sure looks to match, the three and a half years, that Jesus Christ ministered, which is through the scripture, counting by the Passovers, even up to his death, that there's always mention, of three and a half, 42 months, all through Revelation, showing you that he imitates, very down to the timing, the ministry of Jesus Christ.
[14:32] Look in Revelation 17 again, look at verse number three, another characteristic, of the imitation of Jesus Christ, the second person, of the Godhead. So, he carried me away in the spirit, into the wilderness, and I saw a woman, there's a woman associated with this beast, sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads, and ten horns, no question who that is, from chapter 13.
[14:58] That's the one, that's the man, that's the beast, and he's got a bride, he's got a woman, associated with him. One more, look at chapter 16, and verse 10, he has a kingdom, and Jesus Christ, is coming back, to take over the world, and set up the kingdom of heaven, and this beast has a kingdom, Revelation 16 verse 10, the fifth angel, sounded, is that, yeah, out of his vial, upon the seat of the beast, and his kingdom, was full of darkness, so he has a kingdom, the beast has a kingdom, so more could be pointed out, and we'll see this, as we continue, with the study of Satan, himself, imitating God, but I'm right now, just showing you the Trinity, and that second person, boy, he's got certain particulars, that really imitate, the ministry of Jesus Christ, all right, the third person, was the false prophet, and so as you can have guessed, by now, he's going to imitate, the Holy Spirit, and just the very name prophet, just identifying him, as a false prophet, come back to, chapter 13, here's where he's first introduced, there's no word, of prophet here, but it's in chapter 16, and in chapter 20, that he's called, the false prophet, and so in chapter 13, verse 11, in verse 1, is where he sees the beast, and describes him, and then in verse 11,
[16:30] I beheld another beast, coming up out of the earth, and so forth, he describes him a little bit, we'll catch that in a moment, just the very name prophet, signifies, an imitation of the work, of the Spirit of God, and the ministry, of the Holy Spirit, you're familiar with, the prophets, and prophecy, in the Word of God, and that is, that is a trademark, of the Spirit of God, holy men of God, spake as they were moved, by the Holy Ghost, and there's, multiple references, of a spake, by thy Spirit, in the prophets, and in second, is it second, or first Timothy, says that the Spirit of Christ, which was in them, did signify, referring to the prophecies, of Jesus Christ, first and second coming, prophecy, prophecy, a work of the Holy Spirit, this guy's called, a false prophet, now what about, this false prophet, let's notice a few things, how he imitates, the Holy Spirit, look at verse 12, says and he exerciseth, all the power, of the first beast, before him, and causeth the earth, and them which dwell therein, to worship the first beast, now what would that,
[17:42] I mean the imitation, is very plain here, that's the Spirit of God, who is causing the world, to worship the Lord, Jesus Christ, Christ said in John 16, when he said, the comfort will come, he said he will glorify me, so a ministry, of the Holy Spirit, is to glorify the Son of God, and is to cause the world, to worship the Son of God, and this counterfeit trinity, this imitation of the Godhead, the third person, is causing the world, not to worship himself, not to worship the dragon, but to worship the man, that's interesting, that's right on target, these things, only a Bible can do this, all right, look at the next verse here, not only does he cause men, to worship the false Christ, but he has powers, he has signs, and he has wonders, in verse 13, he doeth great wonders, so they maketh fire, come down from heaven, on the earth, in the sight of man, deceiveth them, that dwell on the earth, by the means of those miracles, which he had power to do, in the sight of the beast, so this false prophet, has power, signs and wonders, does that sound familiar, the New Testament, describes the signs, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, and the manifestations, of the spirit, by way of those signs, and miraculous things, and healings, and all of it, the apostles, all had these gifts, and powers by the spirit, so there's an imitation, signs and wonders, and another one,
[19:10] I'll point this out, verses 15 and 16, it says, and he had power, to give life, in the image of the beast, that the image of the beast, should both speak, and notice this word, cause, as many as would, not worship the image, of the beast, should be killed, verse 16, and he causeth all, both small and great, and this has to do, with the taking the mark, and I'm just pointing out, that he has great influence, the third person, of the Godhead, is a great influencer, and it's much, much like the spirit of God, very much like, so there's the false trinity, the satanic trinity, the first way, he imitates God, is he forms a trinity, now we're just going to, rip through a couple, quick ones here, and just point out, some particulars, that just, they add up, everything, and that God is, and does, there's Satan, trying to imitate, trying to pretend, that that's who he is, and look at chapters 12, verse 7, chapter 12, verse 7, and there was war in heaven,
[20:14] Michael and his angels, fought against the dragon, and the angels, or and the dragon, fought and his angels, he has angels, angels that follow him, obey him, and are allegiant to him, the Bible describes, holy angels, it describes, the angel of the Lord, you think of angels, you just, your mind thinks of God, and holiness, and you know, bright shining beings, or something, you think of, some being, the Lord's created, for his glory, they're ministering spirits, and they're, they're of the Lord, but then you notice, oh, the counterfeiter, the imitator, has his angels as well, look at chapter 13, and verse 4, not only does he have angels, he also has worshipers, verse 4, and they worshiped, the dragon, which gave power unto the beast, and they worshiped the beast, you think God's the only one, that receives worship, no, that's definitely, something Satan's been after, for a long time, alright, let's leave Revelation, for a little bit, and run back over, to 2nd Corinthians, chapter 11, just gonna throw, a few more of these points, at you, where you can see, the case gets stronger, and stronger, and this is absolutely, one of his methods, of opposing God, is by imitation, 2nd Corinthians, chapter 11, and notice verse 13, 13 through 15, for such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves, into the apostles of Christ, and no marvel, for Satan himself, is transformed, into an angel of light, therefore it's no great thing, if his ministers, also be transformed, as the ministers, of righteousness, whose end, shall be according, to their works, so Satan has ministers, they're his ministers, they're false apostles, as it's called, in this verse, and that's gonna be, the next point, that we study, over the next few weeks, is his ministers, and try to learn about them, see what the Bible, discloses, and reveals to us, about the ministers, of Satan, that are false apostles, one thing we see, right away, is they're deceitful workers, and we see, that they transform themselves, into something, that they're not, but if you're gonna try, to pretend, to be an apostle of Christ, you're not gonna, be carrying, a satanic Bible around, are you, like the literal, satanic Bible, you're not gonna carry that around, and stand in front of people, and, and hand out tracts, that say Satan is God,
[23:06] Satan, you're not gonna do that, not if you're gonna, try to deceive anybody, so his ministers, we'll study them, in the future, just note for now, he has them, all right, go to 2nd Thessalonians, he's got angels, he's got worshipers, ministers, he's got the whole thing, set up, 2nd Thessalonians, chapter 2, I pointed this out already, with the, false prophet, notice this verse, verse number 9, this is about the man, the Antichrist, even him, whose coming is after, the working of Satan, with all power, and signs, and lying wonders, and so what did Jesus Christ do, showing up on this earth, with the, the signs, with the, what's the word I want, the, not the works, just the miracles, something of the kingdom,
[24:08] I'm trying to think of a term, but he showed himself, to be the son of God, by the works that he did, by the miracles that he did, they were proof, of that he's come from God, and that his word can be trusted, and so here comes Satan, to deceive the world, and he does it, by the same means, that Jesus Christ did it, he has miracles, so he's got, angels, and ministers, and worshipers, and miracles, let's catch, since we're close here, look at 2nd Timothy chapter 4, no, 1st Timothy chapter 4, yeah, 1st Timothy 4 verse 1, now the spirit speaketh, expressly, that in the latter times, some shall depart, from the faith, giving heed, to seducing spirits, and doctrines, of devils, and he'll even list, a few of them there, but just note, for now, he's got doctrines, he's got teachings, that are to be observed, by the masses, by the people, in the pew, teachers, false apostles, with signs, and wonders, and they're teaching, and preaching, certain things, that man are to follow, and what would that be, well, a couple of them, are listed there, but we could probably, make a list, build beyond that, but just note, that he has doctrines,
[25:43] Jesus Christ, showed up saying, my doctrine, is not mine own, but his that sent me, and whatever I heard, from him, I speak to you, and he pointed, everything back, to the father, well, the antichrist, is going to show up, with doctrines, he's going to show up, with teachings, teachings, that by the way, are already being, set in place, ingrained in the culture, subtly, slowly, slipped into practice, in the world today, preparing the way, all right, let's come back, to first Corinthians, chapter 10, just picking these off, one by one, building, and building, showing you, how it's not just a fluke, these aren't coincidences, this is the very working, of Satan, imitating, the Godhead, first Corinthians, chapter 10, and verse number 20, but I say, that the things, which the Gentiles, sacrifice, they sacrifice, to devils, and not to God, and I would not, that she should have, fellowship with devils, so the, he's got a, sacrifice, where did he get that idea, that's going all the way, back to the beginning, where they're bringing, an offering before God,
[27:03] God requires a sacrifice, Jesus Christ, is our sacrifice, but, there's plenty of sacrifices, in this Bible, and Satan's going to have, that as well, and he has for a long time, there's also, he has a fellowship, in that verse, let's go back, to Revelation 2, and we'll catch two more, and Andrew, we will, get to that, today, if you don't mind, Revelation chapter 2, find, chapter 2, look at verse number 9, Revelation chapter 2, verse 9, don't worry about the screen, we'll get to that soon, get your eyes, in your Bible, Revelation 2, verse 9, I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, but thou art rich, and I know the blasphemy, of them, which say that, say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue, of Satan, the point here is, not the word synagogue, itself, but rather that they, the people, are the synagogue, what does, what is the body of Christ, also known as, the church, the church, it's a, it's an entity, it's a living, it's believers, that are placed, into Jesus Christ,
[28:30] Satan has a church, or a synagogue, if you want to, call it that, it's a people, it's a people, and they're his, they are the synagogue, of Satan, that's interesting, it adds up, all right, we've got another one, chapter 2, and verse 13, I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's, seat is, now that shows up again, in chapter 13, and just run over there, quick and read it, in chapter 13, verse 2, it's describing this beast, and it says, the dragon gave him power, and his seat, and great authority, so it's a description, of authority, it's, God has a throne, the Lord Jesus Christ, is going to sit, on the throne of David, that's his, but Satan comes down, to earth, and he's got a seat, he's got a throne, a place where he, dwells and rules, with authority, and he's just matching, the word of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, the God, the Trinity, all of it, he's just matching it, down to the very letter, all right, come to 2nd Corinthians, 2 now,
[29:38] I'm going to make, one more point here, so, by now you have, a bit of a list, and we probably turned, to a dozen things, at least, and actually more, when we broke it down, with the beast, and the false prophet, and you see, that Satan, is an imitator of God, this is not, an exhaustive list, by the way, and I don't want, to spend the whole day, just flipping you, back and forth, and pointing this out, and pointing that out, but it goes, I started doing that, in my own notes, and just realized, this is probably enough, for you already, just turning around, your Bibles, but you could even, you could, you'll find phrases, you'll just find one word, that's something Satan does, and it'll just like, Christ did that, you'll find it, through, it'll just, you could make this thing, a lot bigger, all right, so look at, 2nd Corinthians chapter 2, and verse 17, and I'll just use this verse, to get to a point, that you know, but we need to be, very much aware of, for we are not as many, which corrupt, the word of God, but as of sincerity, but as of God, when the sight of God, speak we in Christ, somebody's corrupting, the word of God,
[30:57] Paul says, that's not us, we are not as many, many of them, are doing it, corrupting the word of God, according to the apostle Paul, the new versions, change that to say, peddling the word of God, as if, they were men, peddling, the scriptures, and I got to stop here, and just point this out, if you have a Bible, that says that, you need to get a replacement, of your text, because it's, tremendously flawed, nobody is selling, or peddling, the word of God, matter of fact, in that day, in like, late 50, early 60 AD, there was no, bound copies, of the word of God, to be peddling, for the first place, like they're selling Bibles, moreover, they're not selling, peddling, the writings, of the apostle Paul, or the prophets, it's just not, it's not even happening, so this, the, it's a, inaccurate, ungodly, perversion, of what the book says, in 2nd Corinthians 2, 17, for the new versions, to say, to take out corrupt, and say, peddling, it's not even something, that matches the time, or the age, it's not even viable, so it's, complete foolishness, to even have that, in the scripture, but beyond that, the fact that, whenever the Bible, talks about somebody, doing something, to the word of God, that's where you'll find, the new versions, have to make a change, they can't let that, be in there, so they change it, to something else, now here we are, that says, we are not as many, which corrupt, corrupt the word of God, now there are, corruptions, of the word of God,
[32:33] I can teach that, from that verse, just right there, there are corruptions, and there are many, that have been doing this, back since Paul's day, so, I'm going to say, finally, that Satan, has Bibles, and this is very, applicable to our day, the gospel, is probably, the most important, doctrine, or teaching, for the world, the gospel, for the world, and if you've got, the gospel, and you're born again, then probably, the most important, teaching for you, the born again, believing Bible, or church of God, is the authority, of the word of God, without the authority, of the scriptures, you're just going to be, flaking through this life, you need an authority, this is the most important, issue for the church, it's not the, speaking in tongues, it's not, taking up an offering, it's not how you dress, Sunday morning, there's things, to talk about, along the way, but the most important, is the authority, of the scriptures, and having an authority, so if you've got, the gospel, then you're saved, then Christians, need to clean their lives up, by the word of God, amen, all right, so here's a point,
[33:42] I want to make, I just extracted, these slides, from a study we did, on Wednesday nights, I don't know, a year ago, or something like that, did a study, on the King James Bible, and at the end, of the study, we did some verse, by verse comparisons, with the new versions, and the point, falls very much, in line with this study, of somebody, is imitating God, by their versions, of the Bible, by corrupting, the holy scriptures, scriptures, and so two points, is not only, that in his Bibles, he's concealing, his identity, and he's concealing, his name, and you don't need, to turn to it, you can, if you'd like, in your scripture, but I put it up here, on the top, in the gold, you see Isaiah 14, we've already read, that verse, and it says, oh Lucifer, son of the morning, how are they, fallen from heaven, right, oh Lucifer, son of the morning, is the phrase, in the King James Bible, if you've got a King James Bible, look it up, that's what it says, if you don't, you're not going to have that, what you're going to have, and I'll give you, five versions, of our day, how you've fallen, from heaven, morning star, morning star, son of dawn, so Lucifer, and morning star, that's replaced Lucifer, you see that, the term morning star, has replaced it, in that version, go to the bookstore, buy an NIV, this is what it's going to say, how you have fallen, from heaven, morning star, son of the dawn, very, very similar, this one's, a children's Bible, international children's Bible, the ICB,
[35:21] King of Babylon, morning star, you have fallen, from heaven, even though you're, bright as the rising sun, so you can see, how versions, just change the wording, to make it, what they want, the ESV, no longer is it, Lucifer, and it's not even, morning star, it's oh day star, son of dawn, and now the, American standard, says day star, as well, so, take your Bible, and go to, Revelation 22, now point number one, is that, Satan has, Satan has, Bibles, that are not, holy Bibles, but in his Bibles, he has Bibles, that can conceal, his name, and his identity, and then, on top of that, in concealing, his name, and identity, he can also, do something, incredibly, blasphemous, and use the, good men, and good women, of translating committees, to ignorantly, perhaps, do this, look at chapter 22, verse 16,
[36:35] I, Jesus, who is speaking, I, Jesus, have sent mine angel, to testify unto you, these things, in the churches, I, who, Jesus Christ, the Lord Jesus Christ, I am the root, and the offspring of David, and the bright, and morning, star, now that is, beyond blasphemy, for a, a version, to put out, in their text, that, the morning star, fell from heaven, you've fallen from heaven, and so, what you can do, with the new versions, Satan's Bibles, is teach that, Jesus of Nazareth, was the devil, that fell from, he got kicked out of heaven, and showed up here, doing miracles, and telling everybody, that he was God, and he can say, you see that, he went into the temple, and he showed himself, to be God, he can teach, from the scriptures, with his Bibles, that Jesus is the devil, and that he, is the savior, and the world, will fall down, and worship him, unless they had, a King James Bible, to tell him the truth, that's why this thing, it's bigger than you know, it absolutely is, all right, not only does he, conceal his identity, and his name, he also conceals his work, and what we're studying, his devices, we're not ignorant, of his devices, let's notice here, some words, that we've already, studied in this, with the manifestations, of Satan, we've studied this extensively, these are some Bible words, and sometimes, they're a reference, to Satan himself, sometimes they're not, they're just words, of the book, and I'll show you, that's how many times, they show up, in your King James Bible, and the word serpent, in these versions, is down, by 30 times, in the NIV, and then these other versions, won't even see the word, one time, the word dragon, that's the Bible word,
[38:53] I mean, that's in Revelation 12, that dragon, the red dragon, that's what the scriptures, reveal him as, and it's just, it's half the mentions, in those new versions, somebody's hiding, and taking away, and just, eliminating, his trail, then the word devil, you notice, it's about half the times, as well, half the times, is no small thing, that's not just, a better translation, would be, somebody's concealing, his tracks, amen, all right, what about hell, King James Bible, has hell in it, 54 times, the new King James, 32, the others, just less, and less, and less, hell is being removed, from the corrupt Bibles, damnation, and devils, gone completely, you want to, yeah, I know, that's an ugly word, I know, it's a curse word, right, no, it's a Bible word, damnation, it's a Bible word, it's a strong word, it's not a curse word, in itself, it's not, and I write about that, in my book,
[40:01] I wrote a chapter on it, that teaches you, that no, it's a pure word of God, it has a teaching, of judgment, and punishment, not hell, it's not the same thing, hell and damnation, are not the same thing, but, take it out of the versions, and you lose something, you lose light, so he's concealing himself, and that's all, I'll show you on that, he has Bibles, so we're out of time here, we'll stop with that, Satan is a great imitator, and as far as, that last part of that, study there, the most important thing, is that you have the truth, and that you know the truth, and you can trust, the words of your Bible, that you're not being deceived, by the tempter, alright, we'll take a break right there, see you back here, in the next one,
