[0:00] All right, please find 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 in your Bibles. I'm going to deal a little bit tonight with some current events.

[0:17] And not specifically the events, but rather the predominant reaction to the events from the body of Christ or from some bigger named preachers and things that I've been reading and listening to and watching lately.

[0:35] So as you know, as you can't get away from the news, you know about the attacks on Israel. And I'll make some comments about that.

[0:46] But before we do, I want to read the chapter of 2 Thessalonians 2. And so follow along through the 17 verses and then we'll get into some thoughts here tonight.

[0:58] Verse number 1, the Bible says, Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and by our gathering together unto Him, that ye be not soon shaken in mind or be troubled, neither by spirit nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

[1:17] Let no man deceive you by any means. For that day shall not come except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed the son of perdition, who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God or that is worshipped, so that he as God sitteth in a temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

[1:37] Remember ye not that when I was yet with you, I told you these things. And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work, only he who now letteth will let until he be taken out of the way.

[1:52] And then shall that wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming, even him whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish, because they receive not the love of the truth that they might be saved.

[2:14] And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie, that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

[2:25] But we are bound to give thanks all the way to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the spirit and belief of the truth, where unto he called you by our gospel to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

[2:42] Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word or our epistle. Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God, even our Father, which hath loved us and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work.

[3:08] So Paul at the beginning in verses 2 and 3, he says to be not shaken, to be not troubled, and in verse 3, be not deceived about some end time things and some order of events and some prophetic material, the fulfillment of prophecies and God's, we call it God's timetable for future events.

[3:31] Instead of that, he concludes the chapter in verse 15, therefore, brethren, he says, stand fast and hold some things and be firm and you've been taught some things, whether by word or our epistle, hold those things, stand fast in that truth and the Lord God will comfort you and he'll give you consolation and hope in your hearts through grace and in verse 17, comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word.

[4:00] He warned them in verse 2 about some being shaken and troubled by word, somebody else's word, but he's telling them at the end of it that you're going to be comforted and established in the good word and works.

[4:13] Now last Saturday, I'm sure we're all familiar with this, halfway around the world in the Middle East, last Saturday morning, I was oblivious to it at the time, at the initial onset of it all, the terrorists infiltrated and attacked Israel.

[4:33] And the reports say that over 3,000 rockets were fired into the land. The reports say that over 1,500 militants entered the land at least and they assaulted and they captured and they even murdered Israelis, unsuspecting.

[4:52] Israel then declared war and their retaliation is underway with heavy bombings and the conflict is probably just getting started and unfolding even as we meet here tonight some four days later.

[5:06] Now Sunday morning, I guess the first I heard of any of this was a Saturday night and I just watched about, I want to say a dozen different news clips from just as many different news sources as I could find on YouTube and just watched their little, their clips of what took place and what the initial reports were and just kind of got an idea of what was going on.

[5:30] But the next day, Sunday, I began to read some things and watched a few more clips and some more videos and what I was surprised was to see how many preachers in the United States of America were speaking that morning, had spoken at their churches on end time prophecy and how it had jumped at this war in the Middle East and how this situation and conflict and then in their pulpits preached about the second coming of Christ and preached this is the fulfillment of Bible prophecies and went to some Old Testament passages and I got sucked into it to listen to what they were saying.

[6:08] Not because I was like going down the wormhole of YouTube, but rather because I was really interested in hearing what these guys, how they were trying to portray this. What, I'm like, what are you saying this is from the Bible?

[6:21] Because you've got my attention. I want to hear what you have to say. I want to see if you even know what you're talking about at all and what you're preaching to God's people. That's what I wanted to know.

[6:32] And so I was also shocked how quickly they wrote a sermon about this stuff and most of them just kind of just iterated facts they've heard on the news and then said what happened and then pulled out a few passages and guided their congregations to saying that the Lord's coming back.

[6:53] And while that can be exciting and some of those thoughts can be real, turn to Luke chapter 21 because this is a passage that many of them quoted.

[7:04] Luke chapter 21. Many of them, and I'm not just saying one or two, but many of them left their congregations with these words of hope supposed in verse 28.

[7:21] Luke chapter 28. Luke 21 and verse 28. The Bible reads, when these things begin to come to pass, then look up and lift up your heads for your redemption draweth nigh.

[7:41] Now, I didn't hear one of them say draweth nigh. They all have new versions which says draw near, draws near. But they were reading this verse and putting hope upon their church that the rapture is near.

[7:53] And that was the teaching and that was the message. And I don't want to just split hairs on this. This isn't my intentions. But that's not at all what Luke 21 says or is saying to anybody ever.

[8:06] There is no rapture of the church in Luke 21. You're never told to look up and lift up your heads when you see these things begin to come to pass. And so let me read the entirety of the passage that the preachers are borrowing from and just give you some, set you straight on some of this so you know and then relate this to where we're at.

[8:27] Look at verse number 20. Let's begin in verse 20 and read then to verse 28. And this is Jesus Christ saying some things to his disciples. In verse 20, when ye shall see Jerusalem come past with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

[8:43] And so right away there's enemies coming against Israel. And so they relate it to this verse like it's, you're seeing it fulfilled in your lifetime right in front of you, on the world stage and on the live, you know, on the news.

[8:58] Verse 21, then let them which are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let them which are in the midst of it depart out and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. For these be the days of vengeance that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

[9:13] But woe unto them that are with child and to them that give suck in those days, for they shall be in great distress in the land and wrath upon this people. And they shall fall by the edge of the sword and shall be led away captive into all nations.

[9:28] And Jerusalem shall be trodden down to the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. Verse 25, and there shall be signs in the sun and in the moon and in the stars and upon the earth distress of nations with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring, men's hearts failing them for fear and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth.

[9:49] For the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up and lift up your heads for your redemption draweth nigh.

[10:03] And all the church claps their hands and says, yay, Jesus is coming back. And the pastor says, what you witnessed is the onset of all of that. What you're witnessing right now is the enemies of Israel.

[10:16] God established them as a nation. The enemies are coming after them. The war is declared. And therefore, it's just a precursor. It's right here and around the corner. Well, this passage, as far as Bible teaching, that's pretty sorry.

[10:31] Because they skipped over a lot of material just to rush to say, your redemption draweth nigh. Now, would to God that our redemption in Jesus Christ, that is the adoption of children, are catching away, being caught up together with them in the clouds, drew nigh.

[10:46] That'd be great if the Lord Jesus Christ was just right on the edge of coming back for his church. I'm with that one. But to teach Luke 21 and say that this is a rapture of the church is not good news.

[10:59] This has nothing to do with the rapture of the church. This has everything to do with Israel's Redeemer, the Lord Jesus Christ, coming back and delivering them from their enemies. These are two different events.

[11:11] And if we study the Bible out fully, it's very, very clear. Now, Christ is coming back to destroy nations, not coming back to secretly, in a mystery, snatch away a certain body of people from the earth.

[11:27] Now, here's some things that these teachers and preachers get all excited about and use this stuff for clickbait on YouTube, but they don't teach the Bible. In verse 20, when ye shall see Jerusalem come past with armies.

[11:41] You haven't seen that, that's for sure. You haven't seen Jerusalem even touched. But you haven't seen them come past with armies. You've seen a few terrorist groups maybe firing rockets from the borders.

[11:52] But you haven't seen the city come past with armies, plural. This is a different thing. Verse number 20, notice this, it says at the end, Then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

[12:04] Desolation is a deserting. It's a, it's, verse 21, it's a flee everybody from Jerusalem. It's get out of town. Because the Antichrist is coming in with his armies, and he's going to go all the way in, like Paul said, into the temple of God, and sit on that throne, and put his throne there and say, I'm God.

[12:23] And he's going to have signs and wonders and things to back it up. The teaching for the Jews is to get out and run for your lives. That's the desolation thereof. Verse 21, then let them which are in Judea flee to the mountains.

[12:35] Let them which are in the midst of it depart out. Let not them that are in the countries enter there into. Don't come to Jerusalem. Run, run, run. For these be the days of vengeance.

[12:48] And all things which are written in the scripture, which are written, may be fulfilled. So the days of vengeance. And what are those all things that are written in the Bible?

[12:59] What are all those things that are going to be fulfilled? Nobody's talking about any of that. They're just talking about the verses that these guys, I'm not going to take you through it all, but the verses they're quoting is things about God saving Jerusalem or establishing it.

[13:13] But before God comes and does that, that thing has got to go down hardcore. There's a lot of things that have to take place before Jesus Christ is going to come back and redeem them and save them.

[13:28] Keep your place here, but come back to Jeremiah 25. Jeremiah 25. Jeremiah 25. Both Isaiah and Jeremiah, they talk more about the day of the Lord's vengeance than anybody else.

[13:45] Jeremiah and Isaiah do that. But there's one thing that I want you to consider. If this is the end, what we're watching on the news, if what's taking place even now, if this is the beginning of the end, if this is it, then something's got to drastically change.

[14:02] Because my Bible says many times that God's going to gather all nations, all of them. He's going to gather them. And that's Joel chapter 3.

[14:12] That's Zephaniah chapter 3. And that's Zechariah 12 or 14. I'm not sure which one. But look at Jeremiah 25. Let's read a passage here.

[14:24] Start in verse 15. For thus saith the Lord God of Israel unto me, Take the wine cup of this fury at my hand, and cause all the nations to whom I send thee to drink it.

[14:41] And they shall drink and be moved and be mad because of the sword that I will send among them. Then I took the cup at the Lord's hand and made all the nations to drink unto whom the Lord had sent me.

[14:51] To wit, Jerusalem and the cities of Judah and the kings thereof and the princes thereof, to make them a desolation and astonishment and hissing and a curse as it is this day.

[15:04] Pharaoh, king of Egypt, and his servants and his princes and all his people, and all the mingled people, and all the kings of the land of Uz. Now you're talking about the east to the southeast, and all the kings of the land of the Philistines, theirs to the west and even to where Gaza is.

[15:19] And Ashkelon, that's in Israel today, and Azah and Ekron and the remnant of Ashdod, Edom and Moab and the children of Ammon, that's on the other side of the river, on the east again going from north to south.

[15:31] All the kings of Tyrus and the kings of Zidon, the kings of the Isles, so they're further north of Israel along the border of the sea. Verse 23, Dedan and Tima and Buz, and all that are the utmost corners, and all the kings of Arabia, and all the kings of the mingled people that dwell in the desert.

[15:48] Now you're getting out into Saudi Arabia, and Iraq, and Iran, and all the kings of Zimri, and all the kings of Elam, the kings of the Medes. And verse 26, And all the kings of the north, far and near, one with another, and all the kingdoms of the world, which are upon the face of the earth.

[16:11] It just spread way past that locality when he said, All the kings, all the kingdoms of the world, which are upon the face of the earth. This is a prophecy.

[16:24] This is God's doing for the end times. That's not what you see happening today, with the terrorists shooting some rockets off, which by the way, they've been doing for years, and years, and years.

[16:35] It just now became a bigger assault. Maybe a deadlier one, maybe definitely escalated something much higher than it's been, but if you could backtrack and count the days of how often and how many these guys have been doing this, it's nothing new.

[16:51] Now, come back to Luke chapter 21. Luke chapter 21, and the days of vengeance, and all things that are written may be fulfilled.

[17:01] I didn't even give you a talk about that. I was just showing you from Jeremiah that God's going to get all of them. verse 25.

[17:14] Notice this from verse 25. And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars. So you're talking about in the heavens.

[17:26] You're going to see some things in the heavens taking place. And upon the earth, distress of nations with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring, men's hearts failing them for fear and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth.

[17:42] For the powers of heaven shall be shaken. Now, you want to tie this into the book of Revelation, you'll get some real details of things that are coming upon the earth. And all of that precedes the second coming of Jesus Christ.

[17:53] What's going on today, for these guys to jump in their pulpits first thing Sunday morning and to tell them that this is what's happening, fulfilling Bible prophecy, and Jesus Christ is almost coming back.

[18:05] Wow. That was pretty early. So there's physical visible signs that are going to be seen. There's a distress of nations and there's natural disasters and then they're to look for Christ to come.

[18:20] But that's not what Paul teaches the church. Come to, let's see, look at Philippians chapter 3. The apostle Paul never teaches the church to be on the lookout for signs, to be on the lookout for world events and natural disasters before the Lord comes for us.

[18:37] He's telling us today to be looking for Jesus Christ, regardless of what happens around the world. In plainer words, what we're waiting for is what he calls in Titus the blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ.

[18:59] We're looking for that blessed hope. Titus 2, 13. We'll get there in a second. Let's read Philippians 3, verse 20. For our conversation is in heaven from whence also we look, present tense, we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

[19:17] No preempt, nothing about future events. You must watch for this first and then that. We're looking for them now, currently. Come to Titus chapter 3, that was the, or chapter 2, that was the other reference I was quoting.

[19:31] Titus 2. Titus 2. The only thing we had to wait for to appear is the grace of God that bringeth salvation.

[19:44] And that's in verse 11, Titus 2, 11. And that came at Calvary. Verse 11, For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lust, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world, doing what?

[20:02] Looking for that blessed hope. And the glorious appearing. We're to be looking for that glorious appearing. Not for Jews to assemble a battle or a war.

[20:15] Not for Gentiles to come against them. Not for Persia to sign a treaty with Russia. We're not looking for these things for the Lord, before the Lord Jesus. We're just, we're looking for him present tense today, tonight, and tomorrow morning.

[20:30] So that's the Apostle Paul's teaching. But any global event, any event of any kind of scale or magnitude that occurs on this planet, the preachers and the teachers have cried, this is a fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

[20:46] And we need to get ready. And they've been saying that ever since I was a little kid. There's a blood moon. There's a red heifer.

[20:57] There's a nation that signed a treaty or in a covenant. Iran is Persia and Iraq is Babylon and Rome is the great whore. And any time the Pope visits the president, oh, it's fulfilling.

[21:10] They're always, always, always looking to events of the world and trying to plug it in to the Word of God. Now, the Word of God does run the world. That's definitely the right place to look.

[21:21] But they are screaming. It's all happening. They've been screaming this every time something happens. It's happening now. It's happening now. And I just say, take a breath.

[21:32] Do thyself no harm. It's not what you think. It's never what you think. Just a few years ago, the coronavirus pandemic took the world by surprise.

[21:49] Come back to Matthew 24. This is a parallel passage. A parallel passage to Luke 21, what we're reading. When the coronavirus hit, preachers jumped into their pulpits and taught the world or taught their congregations, fallacy, that this is pestilence, that this is pestilence, which is the beginning of sorrows.

[22:19] Verse number 7 and 8. For nation shall rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. And there shall be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in diverse places.

[22:31] All these are the beginning of sorrows. And so preachers taught that, that the coronavirus, the pandemic, the plandemic, the whole deal, it's just what's, it's Matthew chapter 24.

[22:44] You're watching scripture being fulfilled right in front of your eyes. No, you're not. Then, vaccines.

[22:56] Do you know what they're putting in those vaccines? Do you know that's the mark of the beast? Do you know that this thing's all planned and it's of the Antichrist and he's coming and that means Jesus Christ?

[23:08] You don't have to have gone down the conspiracy sites too far to hear this stuff from these supposed Bible teachers and prophecy people. They're always looking for some angle to proclaim prophecy coming to pass in our lifetime.

[23:25] They've always been doing it. They'll keep doing it. After the mark of the beast, the supposed vaccines, then Russia, a year and a half ago, Russia did a full-scale invasion on Ukraine.

[23:37] And that, of course, was the fulfillment of some other obscure passage relating to something of end-time prophecies. And I thought to myself, I'm pretty sure that's the same verse that you used back during the years of the Cold War with Russia to say, that was it.

[23:54] There they are. It's all happening right in front of your time, right in front of your eyes. Get ready. Wrong again. In plainer words, no matter what happens on the global scale, scale, somebody's going to attempt to prove that it's Bible prophecy and in the end they look like fools and in the end they discredit themselves but even worse is they discredit the Bible.

[24:21] Not that the Bible can be discredited but if they cause you to believe that's true and then nothing happens, then you think the Bible's false. Or if you got any wisdom, you'd recognize that's a false teacher who doesn't know what he's talking about, which is the truth.

[24:36] The Bible's always been true. It's man's sorry interpretation of it and exciting or always looking for something that they can see with their eyes instead of walking by faith.

[24:47] And so now here we are to this today. Israel proclaiming war and I'll just say it, I could be wrong but I do not believe that their proclamation of war is a sign of the end times.

[25:04] I do not believe that what you are witnessing today is a sign that's in the Bible and it's coming to pass today. Now it could escalate, it could go, it could be the start of something, time will tell.

[25:18] It could go forward into things and draw others into it. I don't know what's going to happen. I don't have that understanding but for the preachers that jump on this, I think it's a shame.

[25:32] I think it's a poor handling and use of the word of God. So what Paul said at the beginning, be not shaken and don't be troubled and don't be deceived by word or by a letter as from us.

[25:47] It's not coming from the word of God. It's some man's misinterpretation of it but rather stand fast and hold, like you said, to what you've been taught and to establish you in every good word and work.

[26:05] I don't flinch at everything or anything that I hear on the news that's taking place in the world today. Not as far as biblically. You know, I have compassion on the people that are losing their children and their wives or their parents or the loss of life.

[26:21] That's not cool. That's uncalled for. But I don't flinch at it to pretend that we are watching it unfold and get all excited as if this is biblical proportions.

[26:34] People are too sensationalized in their thinking. They're looking for too much excitement and things to see with their eyes rather than walk by faith.

[26:49] I'm convinced that when it happens, meaning what the book says happens, you're going to know it. I'm convinced that when it takes place, it's not going to be obscure.

[27:03] It's not going to be hidden or veiled. It's going to be boom in your face. There it is. It's not going to need some guy twisting some scripture to say, well, Isaiah 37 happens so 38's happening right now.

[27:18] And if you get in your Bible and start studying those things out, go ahead, but be careful who you listen to and be careful who you follow. Now, there's two things I'm going to just throw at you before we close here.

[27:32] It is saddening to see the families destroyed, to see the people mourning, to see children, to see what, that's not cool.

[27:44] It's saddening to see those images, to realize, to see them wailing and mourning, to realize those are their flesh and blood that were killed and murdered or kidnapped.

[27:55] And that ought to tug on your humanitarian heart somewhat, to see those things. That's not good. But on top of that, it's also disturbing to see the depth of hatred from the other side toward Israel and celebrating and cheering their vile actions and their depraved behavior like animals.

[28:19] That stuff's tough to watch without getting a little bit upset, a little frustrated, a little angry toward it all. And maybe part of you just says, yeah, I wish God would come back and just wipe them out.

[28:31] But what you're watching there, a few videos of some crazies torturing some people and shooting some guns off, that's just a tip of what's coming. That's not even close to what's coming, written in this book, when they come against Jerusalem, when God tells them to flee and run for their lives and hide.

[28:51] That hasn't happened. Now, what I want to say is just two quick things here to try to give you, this is a little bit more of my personal take on some things that I'm seeing, this is not biblical so much, but rather maybe a caution to you, is that news networks are loving this.

[29:09] They love this stuff. Now, you might say, well, they don't love the violence, but this is what they live for. This is what they were built for, a crisis, a story.

[29:21] They are pumping images of war and death and destruction into your home and out to the world. They're going to milk this as hard as they can until there's another story more important to put on the news.

[29:34] A year and a half ago, it was Russia and Ukraine. That's all you heard all day long, and it's still going on. But where did the news of that go? It just disappeared.

[29:46] And today, there's something a lot more exciting going on. And the news, what I'm telling you is don't get sucked into it. Have your ears open and know what's going on in your world, but don't waste your life.

[29:59] Know the situation, but keep your nose in the word of God. Don't let this TV and these news things distract you from your relationship with Jesus Christ in the Bible. The second thing, first is about the news networks.

[30:11] They're not, they're just doing what they're going to do forever is just go crazy. The second thought is these supposed Bible teachers and prophecy teachers and ministry harlots is all they are.

[30:26] These guys that are out there trying to boost their image, they're jumping at an opportunity to cash in on new potential viewers and input their two cents and I hopped around some sites and some big name ministries and some churches and just to see and sure enough, they were all putting out their stuff and they're not converting sinners, they're boosting their image, they're using this war to get clickbait to their channels and if you think that I'm overreacting on this, go check their videos.

[30:59] I could not believe how quickly these church ministries were pumping out YouTube content on prophecy, Israel at war, Bible times, coming, don't tell me they're trying to help you understand the word of God.

[31:16] These aren't just some guy shooting it in his office on a cell phone, these were professionally made and professionally edited videos that were getting pumped out 24 to 48 hours after the thing started.

[31:27] They were on top of it, they were striking while the iron's hot. Not only that, here's something else I picked up on was some of these ministries were reposting their old videos and even taking clips that they mentioned Israel, a prophecy, and just merging it all into a new video with a new headline to talk, just to get you to click on it to say Israel, conflict, war.

[31:53] Because you get on YouTube and you go that direction, you want to learn about it, you're not just going to see the news networks, you're going to see all the ministries and all the rabbis and all the preachers standing there telling you what you should think and how you should act and where this is in the Bible.

[32:08] And it's just clickbait and it's just for suckers, so don't be a sucker. Don't go down the wormhole. Stay abreast of the facts of the world you live in if you deem it necessary, but please, church, do not let it rob you of your fellowship with Jesus Christ and of your time reading and fellowshipping in the King James Bible.

[32:30] That's my biggest caution. The teachers and the preachers, here's one thing, I'll just leave you with this. I don't know if I'll pursue this on Sunday or not, but I haven't heard one person, I haven't heard one preacher, one Bible teacher, some of these big Dr. David Jeremiah, John Hagee, and a list of them.

[32:51] I haven't heard one of them ask the question or even imply, what does God think about this? Like, what is God's view on what's happening right now?

[33:05] The knee-jerk reaction is, that's his people, protect his people and pray for the peace of Jerusalem and things like that, and I'm not trying to steer you away from that, but I start to look in the word of God a little bit and I find out he has sent people after those Jews, he has sent people after those Jews a lot of times.

[33:29] I'm not trying to say that's what's happening, I'm just trying to look at it from a different angle and not jump on what they're doing and just shoving this prophecy stuff down your throat, and I never heard anybody say what I tried to step back and consider, so what does God think about this?

[33:45] What is actually happening here? Is it the hand of God? He certainly allowed it. He didn't stop it and everybody's going to pray that God puts an end to it but God allowed it to start and I'm not going to go any further than that but I do know that Israel's been attacked an awful lot in their history and sometimes it is God's doing.

[34:06] It is absolutely His hand and I went back today and just read just a quick few references and I could put a list together and it's pretty long of the different times that the Lord was behind that kind of stuff so that's just another thought not really one I'm suggesting is true I don't know but it's one that I've never yet to hear somebody talk about and I'm going to keep watching and keep looking to see what guys are putting out there to critique it and to judge it by the Bible and what I don't want you is to be misled by different voices that are out there if they don't know what they're talking about and so you can pray for the peace of Jerusalem just like you would pray for your own family and God did set out bless them that bless thee and curse them that curse thee and His promises are good and I say that unless we have any better light we should stand with Israel and support them but sometimes you just don't know what the Lord's doing and it would be nice to get tapped into the will of the

[35:08] Lord and if He's got something going on that's going to open up the gate to something else so be it because if the desolation is supposed to come and all nations are going to be gathered against Him then supporting them is going to fail so who knows we don't know but what we do know is that we're looking for the Lord Jesus Christ and so don't turn your minds from that stay focused on Jesus Christ the day of Christ the appearance of our Savior is coming and that's what we're waiting for that's what we're longing for so let's be dismissed tonight and we're a prayer and then we can head out of here Father we are grateful for the truth of the Bible Lord some of this stuff is over our heads it's beyond our understanding there's things that you have retained for yourself there's hidden wisdom I don't doubt that there's truth that's revealed in that book that we haven't quite uncovered or fully understood but Lord when it comes to the events of our day help us not to be soon shaken and troubled or deceived by these things that are out there by people that don't study their

[36:20] Bibles that just are trying to feed something for a crowd to get attention to be a voice that's heard and have a platform but Lord rather let us know the truth and help us to be able to convey the truth to those that we come in contact with and to be able to point them to the Lord Jesus Christ Lord we sure wish that you would be coming back soon we sure wish that we could be done and rid this world of away from all of its sin and all of its trials and all of its wars and fightings and the wages of sin we pray that you come back soon and take us out of here and we love you we long to serve you and to do right please keep us safe and healthy as we seek to love and serve you we pray in Jesus name amen amen amen
