[0:00] Okay, well, let's get into the Word of God now, shall we? If you have a Bible, find Psalm 14. Psalm 14.

[0:30] And when you get there, don't say anything. Okay, let's go. Psalm 14, verse 1, the Bible says, The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God.

[0:50] Now, what do we call that man that says there is no God? What do we call him today, somebody? An atheist. A fool, an atheist. Well, not what do you call him, but we call him an atheist.

[1:03] They call themselves atheists, as a matter of fact. And so we call this fool an atheist. Some years ago, there was an atheistic organization that was appealing in court to get themselves their own day, that they could celebrate their belief, and that the world would recognize them, or at least that the United States would recognize them, atheists all over the place.

[1:26] And it was in Florida where the judge said, you already have your holiday. It's April Fool's Day. And he cited Psalm 14 and verse 1.

[1:37] Thank God that there, at least at one time, was a judge that knew the word of God. And so he refused. He declined allowing that. But this evening, I already mentioned, we're going to be beginning a new doctrine in the doctrines class, the doctrine of God.

[1:55] And that's going to start off early on with some discussion about the existence of God. And we'll cover somewhat what the Bible has to say about the existence of God.

[2:07] Now, a sinful man that rejects the word of God, he comes up with alternative ideas. He comes up with his own views about the existence of God. And most of the case, there is no God.

[2:19] A sinful man that doesn't want to ever have to face that God will make a claim that there is no God. So he'll have his own thoughts. And sadly, very tragically rather, there are governing bodies within our United States that have adopted man's views on the existence of God and said, you're right, man.

[2:40] We're right. The Bible's wrong. God does not exist. And it's such a tragedy that it's been spread and taught in the schools all over our land for almost, actually for nearly a full century when it first crept in from what I could read and find out.

[2:59] But today's statistics show that nearly 70% of teachers in schools today teach evolution outright. As in, they don't, saying 70%, you might think, oh, I thought everybody taught it.

[3:13] But no, some of that 30% that remains, they'll at least call it a theory. They'll at least suggest that we can't prove this, but we believe that this is the case.

[3:23] But at 70%, 7 out of 10 teachers are saying this is the truth. This is the facts. This is what they call science. And they've rejected the existence of God.

[3:37] Now, Christ taught that blind leaders will lead their blind followers right into a ditch. And I believe in the case of evolution and the fool saying there is no God, this is a case in point that God-rejecting fools have been teaching and training our children, our teenagers, our young adults on college campuses, our society.

[4:06] They've been training them to become Bible and God-rejecting fools just like themselves, leading them right into a ditch.

[4:19] And I think this is just my personal opinion as a man that's 45 years old, that's walked on this earth for 45 years and been taught some things and seen a few things.

[4:29] I think the insanity is only beginning because the ship is just starting to come back in of what's been sent out over the decades of teaching young people there is no God, there is no God.

[4:43] It's a very dangerous position to stand on. And I want to show you that today. It's a dangerous thing to be a God-rejecting fool.

[4:53] I think the fruit of this kind of corruption is only beginning to show up in the insanity of our society. The things that we look at and say, I just can't believe that people would think that way or that people would talk that way or that we'd espouse that as a culture, that we'd promote that.

[5:11] I just can't. It drives you. Well, you're just beginning to see. It's the fruit of the atheist. And I want to show you this in several ways. And before we do, let's pray and then try to discover how dangerous this is from the Bible.

[5:24] Father, as we talk on these things, I pray you'll give us understanding. I pray that each person here could be illuminated by your Holy Spirit to this truth. And Lord, help me not to say anything of my own will or volition, but rather may I just submit myself to you and please guide my mind and thoughts and mouth.

[5:42] And may Jesus Christ be glorified. God, I pray that in the end that we'd be challenged to live like there is a God, to live our lives like we believe in you, like we trust in you for our salvation, to live our lives like we know you.

[5:59] And Lord, rebuke us where we live like these atheists. And challenge us, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen. So this fool that we see in Psalm 14, verse 1, he's what we call the pragmatic atheist.

[6:15] And that's just kind of a big term to just really say he's the classic atheist, no God. That's what you would think of if I said such and such is an atheist or somebody claims to be that. They believe there's no God.

[6:26] There's no power above man. There's no spiritual force anywhere. It doesn't exist. That's just all nonsense and fairy tales. That's the practical, I'm sorry, that's the classic or the pragmatic atheist.

[6:40] Now, ironically, while this man or woman displays great ignorance, as we know, they display great ignorance, they also display great faith. And herein, the irony in this is mingled with hypocrisy.

[6:55] It's because their position they stand upon. They claim that they're void of faith. They look at you as if you're inferior because you have faith and you believe in a God. And they say, I don't have any such faith.

[7:08] But I say, but no, your position has greater faith than mine ever does and ever will. And you don't seem to see that. It's ironic in that way.

[7:19] And to be so foolish, let me just say, I'll just briefly state this. So here we are. And we see the mountains and the trees. And we see the sun come up and the moon at night.

[7:30] We see the stars out in the sky. And we see our human body capable of healing itself and the ability to see with our eyes and hear with ears. And, oh my goodness, it just goes on and on and on and on and on.

[7:44] The intricate design and structure and fascinating thing that just a human body is or a flower is. And so I look at it and say, okay, well, the Bible says in the beginning God created.

[8:01] And I say, there has to be somebody bigger than me to make all of this. This is just too much to be by chance. And so when I believe there's a God that's almighty and eternal, okay, that's easy.

[8:20] It's kind of easy to just believe that and to understand that this doesn't just come by itself. But then the atheist says that's not true. That faith position is ridiculous and I don't need faith.

[8:33] And then I look at him and I say, so then where did it come from? And you know what he came up with. And so to follow the lack of logic for his belief, his position, which is always a faith position.

[8:50] He's never seen this take place, the evolution of molecular things into such and such, into this, into that. He's never seen it. He's never verified it.

[9:01] He's never documented it. It just is all presupposed and believed in their heart. And so what I say is their faith is far greater. I don't have that much faith. I'm not even close to them.

[9:13] I'll give it to them. You atheists are full of faith way beyond me. I just believe there's a God and he created all this. And I give it all to him. I say, he did all of it.

[9:25] It's all his hand. So, ironically, they display great faith when they claim their position is against faith. And I say that somebody like this is dangerous.

[9:38] Rejecting the word of God, he becomes dangerous. And I want to show you three places here. Look at verse number one. First of all, he is dangerous to himself. The fool has said in his heart, there is no God.

[9:54] They are corrupt. They have done abominable works. There is none that doeth good. Verse two says, the Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men to see if there were any that did understand and seek God.

[10:07] They are all gone aside. They are all together become filthy. There is none that doeth good. No, not one.

[10:19] A man that believes that there is no God will live his life as if there was no God. A man that truly believes there's no God there to be accountable to or that created me or that have any connection to doesn't exist.

[10:34] He'll live his life like there is no God. And he's a danger to himself. What's the first evidence? They are corrupt. Amen. They're corrupt. They do abominable works because they believe there is no God.

[10:50] There's no good works in them. And we read the list. And before God, the result of this lifestyle is they become filthy. Altogether, in verse three, become filthy.

[11:02] And yet little does he realize where this corruption is taking him. Take your Bible and flip over to Romans chapter one. You can keep your place in the Psalms.

[11:12] Look at Romans chapter one. By rejecting the reproofs and the instruction of the word of God, you're only going to be left with destruction and eternal damnation.

[11:28] For the fool that said in his heart there is no God. He's dangerous to himself. In Romans chapter one, notice the kind of what this behavior incurs in verse 18.

[11:42] For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who hold the truth in unrighteousness. Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them.

[11:57] For God showed it unto them. For the invisible things from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even as eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse.

[12:11] It goes on to read in verse 21, And do you know the rest of this chapter?

[12:34] Do you know what takes place? How the further man has stepped and rejected God, he goes further and further and further into depravity. Because a man that believes there's no God is going to live like there's no God, and he's a danger to himself.

[12:49] He's going to heap upon corruption and filthiness upon his soul before God. When he faces him in judgment, he'll be damned without measure. What a dangerous thing to do, consider that there's no God.

[13:02] That's the worst position a man could take on this earth. He's going to live his life in sin and corruption, and that sin is going to take a toll. The wages of sin is death. He's not going to escape that death, and he's rejecting the salvation of God.

[13:17] He's a danger to himself. And to come back to Psalm 14, he's not only a danger to himself, this pragmatic atheist, but I want you to notice he's a danger to the saints. Look at verse 4.

[13:30] Psalm 14 and verse 4, The people of God that desire to know him and to worship him and to obey his word, they're eaten up by a people that believe there is no God.

[13:53] They're a danger to the saints. I believe a man that takes a stand that there is no God has a hard time living with those that do.

[14:04] And I realize that's not the case with every individual. I realize there's some that actually are kind-hearted and tolerant, but probably the majority of them, or the real reason is, because the people of God aren't even witnessing to him.

[14:18] They're not putting any pressure on him to get saved. They're not letting him know about Jesus Christ. You bring up Jesus Christ to that atheist, see if he still loves you, and see if he doesn't turn on you. The reason that some saints find atheists to be okay is because they're not doing their job in opening their mouths and trying to win them to Christ.

[14:35] But that aside, over the course of history, never has it been the born-again Christians that have fought and that have killed those who disagree with them.

[14:46] That's never been the case. It's always been the other way around. And if you think, well, Catholics, they're not Christians like they claim to be according to the Word of God. They have fought and they have killed people that don't agree with them.

[14:58] That's been their M.O. for the dark ages and years and years. It's always the other way around. It's as if there's an unclean spirit inside that unbeliever of intolerance and of hatred and of murder, persecution and harm.

[15:15] And today in our land, there's laws that are being framed and they're seeping into the books right on your watch, little by little, to slowly chip away at the liberty that you have to preach on the street, the liberty that you have to tell somebody about Jesus Christ.

[15:35] There's laws being put into there to say that's hate speech. Or when you bring up Jesus Christ, you're not being inclusive. And that language, it's already gotten in and gotten its foothold.

[15:46] It's only a matter of time until things are taken away. I could tell you stories about men even in this season, in this fall that have been arrested for preaching on the street.

[15:58] Others that have been turned in or turned over or facing trials because they tried to do something for Jesus Christ. Pure motives, but not received by someone who says in their heart, there is no God.

[16:11] They're a danger to the saints. They've forbidden some to pray in the name of Christ, to refer to Jesus Christ. Some are forbidden to carry the word of God. There's certain institutions that have forbidden the Bible to be on their soil.

[16:26] Now this past summer, there's a school district in Utah that decided to remove the Bible from elementary and middle schools due to concerns about its content, which they say includes or perceived as vulgarity and violence.

[16:42] Now the Bible's already been ripped out of the classroom. That's been that way for a long, long time. So that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about the library in the school.

[16:53] This book, like it doesn't belong there because they say it has violence and vulgarity. This action was taken following a complaint from a parent who felt that the King James Bible contained material unsuitable for children.

[17:09] The move aligns with a law passed by Utah's Republican government in 2022, which prohibits the presence of quote-unquote pornographic or indecent books in schools.

[17:21] Similar book bans targeting subjects such as sexual orientation and identity have already been implemented in several states across the country. The decision to remove the Bible was made after a complaint was filed one year ago, December of 2022.

[17:37] The district officials have confirmed that the few copies of the Bible in their possession have already been taken off the shelves. They clarified that the Bible was never included in the student's curriculum because we'd rather let the students die and go to hell than let them get exposed to the Word of God.

[17:54] The parent who lodged the complaint argued that the King James Bible lacks appropriate values for minors. How about that? Values like keep them out of hell.

[18:05] Claiming it to be quote-unquote pornographic according to the parameters set by the 2022 book ban law. So get this. The LGBTQ+, if I said that right, I probably did because I've heard it so many times in the last couple of years.

[18:24] This community has pushed so hard to get their information or to indoctrinate, rather, children. They've pushed so hard to get the material into the school system to train the children up.

[18:40] Like, for instance, a story about a child who has two dads, but his two dads are the coolest guys in the world and they're both heroes and the child is stable and happy and just wants to be just like his two dads and they're teaching and training kids.

[18:56] This sodomy is a wonderful, healthy thing for any boy. It's a wonderful relationship. And so that material, they want to get into the children's views.

[19:07] But the other side, the conservatives, have pushed back to ban this material. And rightfully so. That's disgusting. It shouldn't be in there. So the conservatives push to get rid of it.

[19:21] And when they win, after they ban that filthy material, it turns out that there's one more book that contains material that falls into the categories of the ban.

[19:34] And that's the Holy Bible. And I want you to open your eyes to this point, people. Get this, listen to this, analyze what I say, and think about it. I want you to understand in all of this world stuff going on with this trying, the devil's not just trying to turn your kids into queers.

[19:52] That's not what's happening. As much as you think, because that's bad. Open your eyes to realize that Satan will get the upper hand in all of this, no matter which way it goes.

[20:05] He will get the upper hand because he's the God of this world. He's running this thing. You think it's Democrats versus Republicans or liberals versus conservatives, and you're going to try to push back.

[20:19] I get it. I get that thought. But you don't understand that the outcome of all of this will be in his favor. It will fall into his lap, into his favor. So what I'm saying is you don't know who you're messing with to think that you can enter into his arena of the kingdoms of this world and that you're going to come out on top and take ground away from the devil.

[20:40] You're kidding yourself. Do you know what happened in this case? The filth got pushed, pushed, pushed. The conservatives pushed back, and what happened? The word of God is gone forever.

[20:53] And do you think it was all about the devil getting a book about two dads in there? You don't know who you're messing with. Conservatives fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for our rights, and all you're doing is playing right into his hand, and you don't even see it because he's the God of this world.

[21:08] He's running the show. I'm telling you. He's got more going on than you realize. And so getting back to this, this pragmatic atheist, he's dangerous to himself, he's dangerous to the saints, and then as kind of segue right into the third thought, he's dangerous to his society.

[21:26] Look back at Psalm 10, and let's read a little part of this passage in Psalm 10. He's dangerous to his society.

[21:38] I'll start in verse 2 and read down to verse 13. The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor. Let them be taken in the devices they have imagined.

[21:49] For the wicked boasteth of his heart's desire, and blesseth the covetous whom the Lord abhorreth. The wicked through the pride of his countenance will not seek after God. God is not in all his thoughts.

[22:00] His ways are always grievous. Thy judgments are far above out of his sight. As for all his enemies, he puffed at them. He said in his heart, I shall not be moved, for I shall never be in adversity.

[22:11] His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud. Under his tongue is mischief and vanity. He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages, and the secret places doth he murder the innocent.

[22:22] His eyes are privily set against the poor. He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den. He lieth in wait to catch the poor. He doth catch the poor when he draweth them into his net.

[22:32] He croucheth and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones. He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten. He hideth his face. He will never see it.

[22:44] Arise, O Lord, O God, lift up thine hand. Forget not the humble. Wherefore doth the wicked contemn God? He hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require it. God doesn't see me.

[22:58] God's not going to hold me accountable for anything I do. And he's dangerous to his society. A man that believes there's no God has no true standard to establish a society upon.

[23:11] He has no absolute criterion to govern citizens or absolute criteria or standard to guide a culture. It's just everybody can do what you want.

[23:24] How are you going to... That's the way it's heading. They say it's the law, the rule of the jungle. The strong survive. And what emerges from all of this is abomination and confusion.

[23:37] Hello. And eventually, ultimately, the wrath of God. The judgment of God. This atheist is a danger to his society. And folks, the America that you know and the America that you have grown to love and appreciate and have shed blood for and died for, that America is slipping away right in front of your eyes.

[24:04] It is slipping right through your fingers. It's disappearing. In our land, abortion, murdering the innocent. I read a verse somewhere in there that people like to use for abortion.

[24:16] In verse 8, secret place is, Doth he murder the innocent? That's one folks like to use to speak against that. Abortion's not just available.

[24:28] It's encouraged. It's promoted. And along with the other perversion that I mentioned earlier, it's encouraged. It's exalted everywhere. It's almost like the filthier you can be, the more perverse you can live, the more attention you'll get.

[24:43] Because we want to acknowledge that. We want to celebrate that. It's an interesting thing. Nobody's celebrating the Lord Jesus Christ and his gospel. But they'll celebrate perversion for the entire month of June.

[24:58] The flags will fly all around Los Angeles. And the Dodgers games and everything you know is going to be shoved in your face. And they're a danger to your society.

[25:10] Now, I realize not everybody's accepted this. Not everybody agrees with the direction that we're going. But you better understand that somebody who believes that there's no God is a danger to their society.

[25:21] They're a danger to a baby that's innocent inside of a womb. They're a danger to an innocent child who's done no wrong and gets adopted by two dads. And now he's going to have a messed up view of the world and of God and of life.

[25:36] And he's a danger to young impressionable minds. Young minds that could be in a classroom hearing a gospel of Jesus Christ. They could be hearing what Jesus Christ did for them. Instead, they're hearing there's no God.

[25:48] There never was. That's a stupid thing to say. And here's what we teach and believe. And they're force-fed a lie from young age all the way up. It's a dangerous society.

[25:59] And like I said at the beginning, you're just starting to see the fruit of this corruption. It's a great danger when a God-rejecting culture violates the mercy and the long-suffering and the patience of God.

[26:14] And they're just calling for his judgment. So the pragmatic atheist, he believes there's no God, so he lives like that. He's a danger to himself.

[26:26] He's going to be bringing on not only disease and harm in this life, but he's going to be incurring eternal damnation when he faces this holy God. He's a danger to the saints with his liberal thinking and his policies.

[26:42] And he's a danger to ungodly, or his ungodly policies are a danger to any society and any culture. But now let me shift gears because there's another kind of atheist.

[26:54] There's this pragmatic one, the classic atheist that says there is no God, but then there's one I've been slipping up in my words the entire time, you may guess it. It's the practical atheist.

[27:05] And there's a difference. The practical atheist is one that lives their life with disregards to a God. They don't necessarily reject a God, but they definitely don't accept a God.

[27:18] They kind of pretend like we're just neutral, but in practice they live like there is no God. They worship no God. They submit to no God, no Bible, no truth, just live their life the way they want to live.

[27:30] They live like an atheist, but they don't claim to be one. And so they're called a practical atheist, meaning he lives in practice what an atheist asserts as a position or as a truth.

[27:44] He's not an atheist, but he lives like one. And where would we find one of those? Well, let's take a look at two passages quickly. We'll go to 2 Timothy chapter 3. 2 Timothy chapter 3.

[27:58] 2 Timothy chapter 3. And Paul's going to talk about the last days, which it sure feels like we're living in today.

[28:20] And see if this crowd doesn't sound a little bit like the one we read about back in Psalm 14, the pragmatic atheist.

[28:32] Verse 1 says, He says, It's mentioned in verse 7, There's some ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

[29:17] It's mentioned in verse 8 that they're likened to the two men that withstood Moses, and these men of corrupt minds. In verse 8, corrupt should ring a bell, reprobate concerning the faith.

[29:32] Verse 9 describes their folly. Sounds like a fool. Where will we find a practical atheist? They have a form of godliness.

[29:43] They talk about a god. They talk about a worship of something. But that's what their lifestyle is right there. It has God nowhere in it. Look at Titus chapter 1.

[29:54] Just a page or two to the right. And find Titus chapter 1. And look at the last two verses of this chapter. Verses 15 and 16.

[30:06] Where Paul again writes, He says, Unto the pure all things are pure. But unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure. But even their mind and conscience is defiled.

[30:18] They profess that they know God. But they're not pure. And their mind and conscience is defiled. They profess that they know God. But in works, they deny Him.

[30:32] Being abominable and disobedient. And unto every good work, reprobate. Well, God looked on the earth to see if there's any that did good. And He couldn't find one.

[30:43] As He spoke of those that say there's no God. They're not doing anything good. And here they are. Oh, they profess they know God. They're not claiming there is no God. But they're living just like the atheist.

[30:56] They're a practical atheist. If we were looking for somebody who would never make the statement or the claim, There is no God. Oh, I never said that.

[31:07] I didn't say I believe that. I'm not an atheist. But they live their life, his or her life, day by day. They get up in the morning and it's about me.

[31:19] And they get on their phone and they get their communication and their relationships are just entertaining themselves. And it's just about me. And they go through their day. They go to work and it's just about me.

[31:30] And then they finish work and they're looking for something to do to entertain themselves. And never one time, never one time do they stop and look up to heaven.

[31:43] Never one time do they pick up this holy book and read its words, its truth to their soul. It's them. It's me. It's what can I get out of my life. If we're looking for somebody who doesn't say there's no God, who actually professes that they know God, but in works deny Him.

[32:07] In fact, they're abominable in their works. And they're disobedient in their works. And under every good work, reprobate. That's harsh terminology.

[32:19] We're looking for somebody who claims, who would never say there's no God, but He's not real to them in the least. And when they lay their head on their pillow at night, their whole day was about them.

[32:36] No relationship with God. No communication with God. No desire to know God, to seek God, to walk with the Lord, to please Him. Where would we find someone who lives such a life void of a relationship with the Lord?

[32:54] Would we have to look very far at all? Or does that sound like your life? Does that sound a little bit like your morning?

[33:05] And your day? And your afternoon? And your evening? You're a practical atheist. You say, but how could you call us atheists?

[33:20] We come to church. We love the Lord. We're saved. We have our King James Bibles. We came to hear from God. Did you? Or do you come to church Sunday morning and go right back to your worldly lifestyle?

[33:34] Having no fellowship with Jesus Christ. No walk with God in His Word. No desire to know Him. To seek Him.

[33:45] God said there's none that seek Him. The atheists, they don't seek Him. There's the pragmatic atheist. Of course, he doesn't believe He's there, so he's not seeking Him. And then there's the practical one that says, I know Him, but you're not seeking Him either.

[34:01] Would we have to look too far? Or many Christians live like there is no God. They live each day from the morning to the night like there's no God.

[34:12] No God inside of them. No God around them. No God that loves them. No God that's caring for them, desires fellowship with them. They live like there's no judgment seat of Christ awaiting them.

[34:26] They say what the atheist says. Oh, he doesn't see. Oh, he's not going to require it. He's not going to care about what I'm doing right now. There's no God doing that. They live like there's no eternal damnation awaiting for their friends, awaiting for their cousins, awaiting for their grandparents, awaiting for their relatives and neighbors and coworkers.

[34:46] They're not just going to burn in hell. That's the way you're living. As if there's no God that's going to damn them to hell. You're living in practice what an atheist believes for doctrine.

[34:59] And then you show up to church. And then you go back to the world. Not only is this country fit for this description, but so many born again Christians that make up the body of Christ today match it to a T.

[35:19] Their lifestyles, their testimonies, no evidence of Jesus Christ. I didn't say you're not saved. I'm not stupid like that.

[35:30] I'm not saying you never got truly born again. No, if you're saved, you're saved. That's settled. Praise God. Thank him for that. But then are you living your life like he's not even part of it?

[35:43] If he's a fool that says there is no God, then he's a fool that lives like there is no God. And I might add he's just as dangerous.

[35:56] Dangerous to himself. Dangerous to the saints. And dangerous to his society. Quickly and we're finished. Dangerous to himself because sowing to the flesh, he will of the flesh reap corruption.

[36:10] He will not get away with his sin. If there's somebody in this building that lives their life like a practical atheist, you will not get away with your sin.

[36:22] You're harming yourself. You're harming your mind. And you just can't turn that off and change it. You're harming your heart. You're harming your relationships with people in your life.

[36:38] Living today like God's not here. And it's all about you. And the Lord God is too holy. And he is just and will be justified.

[36:49] You will not get away with your sin. You better write it down. You better put it in front of your face and hear it with your ears. You will never get away with your sin. God is too holy.

[37:00] You're a danger to yourself if that's how you're living. You need to wake up and see it. You're a danger to the saints.

[37:12] You know that? Instead of being a help and a piece of this local body that is living for God and vibrant in his walk with God or her walk with God, you're not lifting anybody up.

[37:26] You're not sharpening iron with anybody. Instead, you're a danger to this church, a danger to the saints. Your indifferent attitude and your lazy spirit is bringing others down.

[37:38] It's not easy to live for God by yourself. And know what he did? He gave us one another. One another to refresh, if not once a week, twice a week, and throughout the week.

[37:52] God gave us each other for that purpose. And if you're not doing your part, you're harming this local church. Because if your heart's not right with God, you're affecting others whether you realize it or not.

[38:05] And therefore, you're a danger. And thirdly, you're a danger to society because you're part of the problem. You were put here to be part of the solution, to shine as lights in this crooked and dark generation.

[38:19] And instead, you look just like the darkness in this filthy generation. The lost aren't preaching the gospel, and neither are you. You're a danger to this society.

[38:33] Just like the atheist is a danger to his society, so is this practical atheist that claims to know God, but in works denies him.

[38:47] You're a danger to a healthy, godly society, a society where there's any form of righteousness. And you know why? Because you don't want it. You don't want it.

[38:58] Do you know how I know that? Because you don't want it in your own life, much less in this world. You want the world. You want the sin. And you're a problem. You're a danger to your society.

[39:11] And so, coming to the end, the title of my message is, As Dangerous As An Atheist. Is that you this morning?

[39:23] There's the pragmatic atheist who's dangerous, and I don't expect him to be anything but that. But then the practical. The world has enough of them.

[39:35] The church these days has enough of them. If you walk through these doors, God help you to care, to be clean, to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ on your own before you get in here.

[39:50] To come hungry for the truth. To apply the truth. To have an open and honest heart before God at all times and say, Lord, is that me? Is that me?

[40:02] I don't want to be part of the problem. And I don't want to be heaping to myself corruption and harming this church and not helping the lost find Christ.

[40:16] Does this last thought bear any resemblance to your life? This lack of fellowship, this lack of a walk with God. If so, you're as dangerous as an atheist.

[40:28] Let's bow our heads. A moment will be dismissed. In a moment we'll go home. I want to give you an opportunity this morning to respond to the thought and the message this morning.

[40:45] If the Lord's dealing with your heart. If you respond, nobody's going to judge you. This place wants to see people on fire for God. Excited about the Lord.

[40:57] I don't know.

[41:16] I will go to the Lord's funciona. I know. I want to say, oh, Lord. I won't be sure how Janda. I don't want to gather the Lord. You are right. I love teu if you belong anywhere you've got. I know. Right?
