[0:00] Peter chapter 5, and really just read one verse here, try to get a thought from it, and then bounce around a little bit in the Bible this evening, mostly in Paul's epistles, pretty close by, so you won't have to turn too far.

[0:17] 1 Peter chapter 5, it's a lot in this chapter, and there's a short chapter, and some thoughts about being submissive, some thoughts about being humble.

[0:37] Verse 7, you're familiar with casting your care upon the Lord, for he careth for you. There's a warning about our adversary, the devil, and a command to resist him in the faith.

[0:50] And then we get to verse number 10, and that's the verse I want to take a look at tonight, so please follow along in your Bible, 1 Peter 5, verse number 10. The Bible says, But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you.

[1:17] Now if you read through your Bible, I imagine that you've come across this verse, and that little phrase catches you, and I think you know what phrase I mean.

[1:29] After that ye have suffered a while. Why does that have to be in there? Why can't it just be the God of all grace, called us unto his eternal glory, make you perfect, after that ye have suffered a while.

[1:44] That's not even what I'm going to spend my time on tonight, but it's a phrase that you just can't overlook. I can't bypass it. But Peter writes with a context, a very strong theme of suffering, and that's very, very prevalent in chapters 2, 3, and 4, and it's fitting for him to continue the thought into chapter 5 as well.

[2:05] I'm not going to really cover that material tonight, but it fits into the context of his book and to his audience, so we'll just leave it at that for now. But here it's called, God is called the God of all grace.

[2:18] Elsewhere he's called the God of all comfort, the God of all peace, and you don't have any grace, peace, or comfort coming from anybody else because he's the God of all of it.

[2:29] He is the God of all of it. And he called us, I love this next phrase, he called us unto his eternal glory. He called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus.

[2:41] What a blessing that thought is. And I'm not even going to be talking about that tonight. It's just exciting to read it and to talk about it a little bit. After that, you have suffered a while. The last part of the verse now, it says, make you perfect, something we've been hitting on in Sunday school a little bit.

[2:57] Establish, strengthen, settle you. It's a nice little three-part alliteration there with the S's. Establish, strengthen, settle you. And it's those last two words that really caught my attention in the verse.

[3:11] Settle you. The God of all grace settle you is what Peter's saying. It's kind of an interesting thing. It really caught my attention. It made me think on it.

[3:22] And it goes, the words go in absolutely hand in hand with establish and strengthen. And so there's no question he's referring to an establishing of the believer, a form of permanence and security.

[3:37] And I want to point out, though, as we begin that it's God, the God of all grace, that's doing this work, that's settling you. That's what the verse says.

[3:48] But the God of all grace, after that you've suffered, but the God of all grace make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you. And so God wants to settle you.

[4:01] And we'll talk about what that means and try to give you a good idea in case the word kind of gets thrown around a few different ways. This is his doing. This is his will to grow and to mature each believer in their Christian life.

[4:16] He wants to grow you into a Christian that doesn't waver, that doesn't just disappear. Here one day and gone the next. But it's the will of God to settle you, to establish you, or to establish, strengthen, and settle you.

[4:33] And so let's consider that this evening here. And I want to say a few things about it, why it's better to be settled. And we'll look at that here. Let's pray before we do. Father in heaven, thank you for tonight.

[4:44] Lord, I know that some are sick and some are out and some are busy and just haven't been able to be with us tonight. But we are grateful to be gathered together. And for those that have been able to come out, we pray your blessing upon them and upon this time.

[4:59] I pray that you and your Holy Spirit would minister this word to each heart, that you'd strengthen us in the inner man, that we would be settled in Christ, and Lord, in the Christian life, that we'd be grown into some things, not tossed about.

[5:15] Lord, that your work, that your will would be accomplished in each one of our hearts, from the youngest to the oldest. We pray that you'll minister this in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen.

[5:25] If you build a house, what do you start with? You start with a secure foundation. You're a fool if you just start putting walls together with never putting it on a foundation.

[5:37] And why do you do that? Because you want it to stay put. The weather's going to show up. The wind's going to blow. The mud might start sliding. You don't want your home to go anywhere.

[5:48] You want it to be established. And you want it to be strengthened. And you want it to be settled. You want it to be staying there for a good long time, probably for the rest of your life.

[6:00] That would be your goal in building. And being settled in the Christian life is a good thing. Being established and being grounded. We'll look at Colossians chapter 1 in a little bit, where it talks about being grounded and settled and be not moved away.

[6:16] That's a good goal for the Christian life. In 1 Corinthians 15, it says to be steadfast and unmovable. Those are two good terms, strong terms, all referring to this same thought of being settled.

[6:28] You hear about families that grow up or that are in the military, or maybe even athletes, sports figures, pro teams. They never stay put for long because they're always being moved and uprooted and sent across the country or even across the world.

[6:47] And you know one thing they don't have? They're never settled. They don't have a place they feel is home to them because they're just moving, moving, moving. And it's not a good feeling. And there's consequences to that kind of lifestyle.

[7:00] They'll tell you this, that they don't have any long-term relationships. They don't get close to their neighbors. It's not a lifelong friendship with their neighbors because they're not there for long.

[7:11] They don't know what that is like. People like that say they have no sense of real feelings of security or comfort where they live, and they don't feel like they belong anywhere because they're just bouncing around in life.

[7:25] And there's something about us, the way we're made, I think it's just instinctive that you do want some security and you want some familiarity around you. I know there's people that are drifters.

[7:36] I know that. I mean, that's not normal, though, right? You understand. The drifters, they offer no value to a community or to a church, for that matter, just in one time and gone the next.

[7:50] They offer nothing. They're just like a wild beast. You can't count on them. You can't hold on to them. They just come and go. I read, I can't think of where it was.

[8:01] I read about a couple. This husband and wife married, and they started a family, and they worked their jobs. I don't know if it was related to COVID that kind of got them working at home, but they kind of put a few thoughts together and realized that we don't have to stay home.

[8:18] We just need an internet source. That's all we need is a connection to the internet, and we can work. And so they came up with an idea. They bought a van, a pretty good-sized van, and retrofitted it for living in, and they got a satellite connection so that they could literally anywhere on the world that they could get this van to, they could have access to the internet, therefore they could work.

[8:41] And so for the last, I don't know if the article said like seven or eight years, all they've been doing is traveling and traveling and traveling, parking in this national park, parking in this obscure place way back in the remote areas of nowhere, and enjoying the scenery, enjoying nobody around, and then going to work, doing their job, and then just walking out into a canyon of nothing.

[9:04] And it sounds exciting. It sounds wonderful. But the reality of that is that's very, very rare. And no society, no business, and certainly no church could ever function, if all of its members were just running around, doing whatever they please, just off the grid, and you can't get a hold of them, or whatever the case, that just wouldn't work.

[9:28] And so there must be a majority that are settled, that are established, that are staying put. There must be a majority that do that. And it's scriptural to be settled, like we're reading here in 1 Peter 5.

[9:43] And I want to give you some reasons why. And understand, I'm not talking about owning a home. And I'm not talking about getting set up in a great, secure career, one where you're going to go places and you don't have to worry about that.

[9:56] I'm not talking about that at all. I'm talking about a work that God seeks to do on the inside of you, in the Lord Jesus Christ. A work of God to settle you.

[10:07] Now let me say a few things and turn back to Ephesians chapter 4. And let's look at the first thought here. Ephesians chapter 4.

[10:23] And I'll wait until you get there, and then I want you to just get with your other hand another place, real close by, Colossians chapter 1. So Ephesians chapter 4 with one hand, and then we'll go to Colossians chapter 1 in a minute.

[10:38] Ephesians chapter 4. All right. Ephesians 1.

[10:51] 4. Thank you. Ephesians 4 verse, I'll start in 12, and we'll get down to verse 14 is what I want.

[11:04] Verse 12 says, For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come in the unity of the faith, unto the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.

[11:20] Now this is all about somebody growing and maturing in the Lord. And here's what you don't want to be. Verse 14. That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the slight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive.

[11:43] We need to grow up into Christ in the next verse. And so the first thing I want to say is, it's better to be settled than to be simple. Than to be simple, like ignorant.

[11:56] Like not knowing the truth. Like having no understanding of spiritual things. That's a simple one. The Bible says in the Proverbs, that the simple believeth every word.

[12:08] Just doesn't have any bearings. Any established, feet aren't grounded in the truth. And so somebody shows up and says, oh, this is the way to go.

[12:19] Oh, this is the truth. So a Jehovah's Witness shows up on your door, knocking on your door and says, do you believe that there could be peace on the earth? And you say, is this a trick question?

[12:34] I don't know. I think maybe, but I don't know. And they say, well, the Bible says that there can be peace on the earth. And they'll read a passage about the kingdom of heaven and the Lord Jesus Christ, the King of peace.

[12:48] And there it is. And then, so you say, yeah, I guess there can be peace on the earth. And then won't you join us in spreading this kingdom of peace? Because that's what they, they just got you to admit that, yes, it can be.

[13:02] And that's what we're doing. And now they're trying to suck you in. If you don't have any bearings on truth and on the Bible, Bible doctrine, you'll get sucked right into a cult. So the seventh day Adventist will show up at your door and they'll have a flyer and the flyer will have this really cool graphic picture about revelation.

[13:21] And all the doctrines of revelation are now going to be exposed and you can learn them for the first time in your life. And you get sucked into it. And you think this is the truth finally revealed to me.

[13:32] I've never heard this stuff before. And so it's better to be settled than to be simple. It's extremely important. Don't underestimate this.

[13:44] It's extremely important for you, every single one of you, to be grounded in Bible doctrine. Look at Colossians chapter 1. Colossians chapter 1.

[13:55] If you're not grounded in the truth, you will get drawn away and pulled away into something else. You'll be those children that are tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine.

[14:09] Colossians 1. Notice in verse number... just 23. We'll see a few of these words. In verse 23, if you continue in the faith, grounded and settled, if you don't continue in the faith, grounded and settled, you'll be carried about.

[14:27] You'll be tossed to and fro. Continue in the faith, grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel which ye have heard. Look at chapter 2 and verses 6 and 7.

[14:39] 6 and 7. As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in Him, rooted and built up in Him, and established in the faith as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

[14:57] It's so important that you learn Bible doctrine. What the Bible teaches about itself. What the Bible teaches about mankind. What the Bible teaches about God.

[15:09] about the Lord Jesus Christ. About the Holy Spirit. What the Bible teaches to be true. It's important you get to know this. Don't be ignorant about this stuff.

[15:20] It's available to you. It's right here. It's better to be settled than it is to be simple. The Pentecostals show up and they start telling you about the Holy Spirit.

[15:34] Have you received the Holy Spirit since you've been saved? And if you don't know much Bible, you might say, I think so. I think I heard the pastor say something about receiving Christ or the Spirit.

[15:48] But you probably don't know. And they talk and talk and talk. You don't know how to answer them. You don't know how to handle it. They say, why don't you come over to our church and you'll see what it's like when the Holy Spirit really pours Himself out into a service.

[16:02] And you can go there and watch them wiggle and giggle for two or three hours at a time. And they think, they're convinced that was God's Spirit moving in their services.

[16:15] They have no idea what they're talking about. And neither will you if you don't get grounded in doctrine. You'll be simple. And you'll just believe every word. It's better to be settled.

[16:28] It's better to be rooted. It's better to be grounded in the doctrine of the Word of God than to be simple. You don't need to turn, but I'm going to look at 1 Corinthians 14, verse 20.

[16:41] It says, Brethren, be not children in understanding. How be it in malice be children, but in understanding, be men.

[16:52] Be grown up. Know what you believe. Know the Word of God. Know what you're talking about. Don't be simple. You remember 1 Peter 2, verse 2?

[17:04] If you don't know it, you should look at it. It says, As newborn babes desire the sincere milk of the Word that ye may grow thereby. You know what that means?

[17:15] You don't need a Bible degree to learn Bible truth. All you need is desire. Desire the sincere milk of the Word that ye may grow thereby.

[17:32] You just need desire. You don't need a doctor's degree. You just need to desire it. That makes me wonder, do you desire to be rooted, to be established, to be settled on Bible truth, or you just want to be simple all your life?

[17:50] I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. This guy talks about this. I don't know. This religious person talks about this. I don't know. Is that what you want to be?

[18:02] It's better to be settled. It's better to be established, strengthened, and settled than it is to be simple. I hope you desire to learn the truth and to not be carried about because that's where you'll be if you don't learn this book.

[18:20] All right. Secondly, look at 2 Timothy chapter 3. 2 Timothy chapter 3. It's better to be settled than to be simple.

[18:36] And secondly, I want you to think, consider that it's better to be settled than it is to be searching. In verse number 7 of 2 Timothy chapter 3, it says, describing a people of our day ever learning, so they're getting educated and educated ever learning, but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

[19:04] What a bad spot to be. Just completely educating yourself and never getting the truth. Never getting settled. But ever learning.

[19:16] And people get so confused and so deluded about what truth is because they just keep hearing and reading and studying more. Solomon said, of making many books, there is no end.

[19:30] And much study is a weariness of the flesh. And the point he's getting at is what profit is there in it. Look at chapter 4.

[19:41] 2 Timothy chapter 4. Verses 3 and 4. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but after their own lust shall they heap to themselves teachers teachers, having itching ears, and they shall turn away, not be established, not be settled, but they're turning away their ears from the truth and shall be turned unto fables.

[20:09] And that's what they're going to be learning now. Ever learning. Fables. Things that aren't true. Things that might be true, but they don't know if they're true.

[20:19] And so they just search for more truth. I had an uncle that recently passed away. And in his, what do you call that thing?

[20:31] Eulogy? No, the obituary. It worded this way. It says that he was on a lifelong pursuit of truth.

[20:45] A lifelong pursuit of truth. Now, I'm sad to say that he's rejected, to the best of my knowledge, he's rejected anything to do with the word of God and the gospel of Jesus Christ.

[21:00] And he claimed to be on a lifelong pursuit of truth. He was reading, he had an affinity for religious books. You know what the Bible's not?

[21:11] A religious book. And he didn't want it. So he read man's religions and read them and weighed them and searched and searched and searched while he ignored the truth.

[21:21] It's better to be settled than searching, church. It's better to have the truth. It's better to have God bear witness to the truth in your heart and settle it for you than to be searching for truth.

[21:37] You know how many men, how many men are on a constant journey searching for truth? Even men that stand in pulpits on Sunday mornings and yet inwardly they're on a constant search for truth.

[21:54] There's lost men all over the place that preach and teach and proclaim something, a better life of sorts but never the gospel of Jesus Christ and never a transformed life by the power of God.

[22:08] and they themselves are still searching for something that they can be settled on. You know how many men are saved but don't have the knowledge of the King James Bible and therefore they've been studying and studying Greek and studying and studying Hebrew and they think they can get more degrees and take more courses and get more credits and eventually they'll get closer to the truth?

[22:36] You know how many men are searching and yet you can be a simple, not simple like point number one but an untrained person here today, common folk and you can have a King James Bible and actually believe every word of God is pure and you can be settled and you can have that peace inside of you that you can just read this book and believe it's God's words.

[23:02] You can have that whereas educated men are still searching and still searching and still searching. I listen to a guy and I don't do this very often but sometimes just going home from here ten minutes drive I'll listen to this Christian AM radio station and I guess it's just my curiosity because I just want to hear what they say.

[23:25] You know, I want to hear I'm not just looking to pick on them but I'm looking just to hear what they say. Sometimes it's decent. Most of the time it's just it's so diluted and you know watered down and just soft and it's a burden to me.

[23:40] I feel like I wish we could get some like solid Bible preaching on the airwaves around here or somewhere where I was just reaching around LA. It'd be a blessing but when I listen to them most of the time there's this one program where these people call in with their questions.

[23:55] I don't know if it's like ask the pastor or something like that and these people call in with serious life questions. And the pastor gives them some psychological you know evaluation.

[24:10] He never he doesn't give them a Bible verse. He doesn't give them a Bible answer. Here's what the Lord would have you do in this situation as like a shepherd. Shepherd no he just he just says well that's a really good question.

[24:22] It's a tough spot to be in. And then he just weasels around some no good sound answer and leaves them searching because he himself is searching.

[24:36] And I'm trying to tell you church it's better to be settled. Far better to be settled. Turn a page over to Titus chapter 1 and hold that and then go back with me to Acts chapter 8.

[24:54] I want to give you an example of a man that was searching. It's better to be settled.

[25:05] It's better to be established strengthened and settled than to be searching. So Acts chapter 8 is where I'd like you to be and here's an evangelist named Philip and in verse 26 he gets instructions this is of the Lord here verse 26 Acts chapter 8 and the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip saying arise and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem down to Gaza which is desert and he arose and went and behold let's look at this man behold a man of Ethiopia so he's from Africa and he's a eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians so he's a great man who had charge of her treasure he's a trustworthy faithful probably wealthy powerful man and then the last phrase of the verse says that and had come to Jerusalem for to worship was returning sitting in his chariot read Isaiah the prophet now let me pause here and let's consider who this man is he lives in Ethiopia he is a powerful man in the government under the queen he is known he's got some wealth undoubtedly and he travels to Jerusalem why did you go to Jerusalem that's not an easy trip that's not just just swing by there on the way home he made a trek to Jerusalem to worship who's he worshipping he's not worshipping idols he's not worshipping the sun god from Egypt who's he worshipping he went to Jerusalem so you know he's worshipping god by the way of the Jews the god of Israel he's going to the temple probably to sacrifice probably to offer a sacrifice he's got money he buys the animals he gives it to the priest

[27:05] I wouldn't doubt that he was happy to give a large sum of money because that's what they did remember Jesus Christ toward the end of his ministries in the temple watching them give and seeing that widow give her two mites I wouldn't doubt that this man came in line and gave a great sum to the Lord as an offering to God of a good heart but is this man as we would say is he saved does he know the Lord Jesus Christ does he have any knowledge of truth yet no what he does know he's following he's observing what Moses would have told them to do so this is after Christ died you know that this is after he raised again and he's up in glory so now he's returning from worshipping and he's reading the Bible he's reading the Old Testament Isaiah the prophet verse 29 then the spirit said unto Philip go near and join thyself to this chariot and Philip ran thither to him and heard him read the prophet

[28:11] Isaiah and said understandest thou what thou readest and he said how can I except some man should guide me and he desired Philip that he'd come up and sit with him so isn't this interesting this man he's got a copy of Isaiah with him in this chariot returning from Jerusalem going back to Africa and he doesn't know what he's reading what he's reading is verse 32 the place of the scripture which he read was this he was led as a sheep to the slaughter and like a lamb dumb before his shearer so he opened not his mouth in his humiliation his judgment was taken away and who shall declare his generation for his life is taken from the earth he's reading about a man that gets murdered and he has no idea what he's reading now it wasn't that long ago probably under a year's time that Jesus

[29:11] Christ was murdered in Jerusalem anybody could have told him this I'm going to assume he wasn't there and it'd be hard to believe that he didn't have access to some knowledge of this but maybe not but he doesn't say is this about Jesus he doesn't have any clue look at verse 34 and the eunuch answered Philip and said I pray thee of whom speaketh the prophet this of himself that's the first guess is Isaiah talking about himself that they're going to kill him or some other man some other man he doesn't know anything about the Lord Jesus Christ this man is searching this man is not satisfied with the gods of his parents the gods of his people in Africa he knows there's something up there in Jerusalem he makes the trip he does what he does he's heading home with their scriptures he's reading about the Messiah he's reading about

[30:20] Christ's death and he just doesn't get it I mean right there in Isaiah 53 what a place for him to be reading and then Philip in verse 35 preaches unto him Jesus in verse number 37 Philip said if thou believest with thine heart thou mayest and here's what the man said I believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God and what a difference from the beginning of this story to where this man is sound in faith to where now he's established strengthened by the gospel message you might say and settled it's better to be settled than to be searching if Philip never entered this scene if the Holy Ghost never told Philip to arise and go toward the south that man just keeps on traveling in his chariot with Isaiah confused blind and on his way to hell not knowing anything just searching and searching and searching he'll go back to Jerusalem next year and he won't get any light unless somebody preaches the gospel to him how much better is it for that man to be settled than searching one more thing you go back to Titus now we're almost done

[31:52] Titus chapter 1 and I want to say here that it's better to be settled than to be suspicious meaning not convinced just weighing it tossing it around but not sure not certain it's better to be settled than to be suspicious look at Titus 1 and verse number 9 holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught what does that mean holding fast that's not a reference to speed that's a reference to being fastened secure steadfast settled holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers for there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers especially they are the circumcision whose mouths must be stopped who subvert whole houses teaching things which they ought not for filthy lucre's sake and verse number 14 not giving heed to Jewish fables and commandments of men that turn from the truth and I'll stop there there's some that need to be convinced with sound doctrine holding fast the faithful word a settled established word so many people have access to the truth but they're not certain and they're unsure do you have any idea how many people right now are they believe in their heart that they're doing the right thing that they're a good person and they're convinced in their heart that that's the right person the way to be in this world they're so close but they're never ever ever one time are they sure that they're accepted of

[33:53] God they think so but they've never had a certain day in their life that their soul is saved do you ever witness to anybody and ask them if they know for sure they're going to heaven and you hear them say things like well I hope so well I think so well I don't believe anybody can be certain oh no that's your cue no I can show you from the Bible that you can be certain well I don't know about that you ever talk to anybody like that I just don't know well I've been baptized well I go to church well I've been a pretty good person is what they'll say is what they believe but not one person that answers like that knows that they're on their way to heaven why because they've never been established and strengthened and settled King Agrippa in Acts chapter 27 he was so close to eternal life as he had

[35:00] Paul right in front of him and he said almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian so close he was to eternal life but he wasn't convinced he was suspect of that message he was suspicious and it's better to be settled than to be suspicious the hell below our feet is filled with suspicious people that have heard the truth and they've heard the gospel but they were never convinced that it was for them or that it was what they needed or that the eternity of their soul is dependent upon what they do with Jesus Christ because they've been taught their whole life if you just be a good person if you just do your best if you just obey the golden rule ask him what that is I don't know but I'm obeying it but you offer them Jesus Christ and the gospel and they're suspicious of it they're not willing to place their faith in Christ alone they're not willing to repent of themselves and of their works and of their church and tonight as Peter told us it's better to be settled

[36:09] God wants to establish you God wants to strengthen you and he wants to settle you in Jesus Christ it's better to be there than to be simple and to be ignorant of truth and to drop into hell because you didn't know what the Bible said what God was expecting of you it's better to be settled today than to be searching and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth and it's never or it's better to be settled than suspicious and if you don't know tonight if you are here tonight on a Wednesday night and you're not sure about salvation like a hundred percent sure if you drop dead today before you ever make it to your bed and pillow if you're not a hundred percent sure that you're going to go to heaven then let's get it settled let's get it settled tonight before you go home me and you and the Bible let's get it settled if you're not sure about why this Bible why do we stand here and preach the King James

[37:13] Bible is the word of God let's get it settled let's let's understand let's not be simple about this stuff let's not be searching on the internet for the truth you're not going to find it you're going to get confused and deceived most likely let's get these things settled you're not sure about other religions about what they teach and why they're wrong and why we say they're wrong and this then let's get these things settled let's get settled and steadfast on what's right and what's wrong so that you can know what you believe and so that you can know why it's a work of God remember that from the beginning it's the God of all grace that wants to establish strengthen and settle you so don't be ignorant it's on you if you are don't be searching for the wrong thing come to me God put me in your life to help you guide you in the scriptures and I promise you I'll make a promise with you right now if you have a question to me and

[38:15] I can't answer it with the Bible I'm going to tell you I don't know I'll be very flat honest with you but I'll do my best to show you from the Bible the answer to your question now don't ask me some crazy thing about somebody somebody out in Mars or Pluto I don't know see I already said it but I want you to be established I want you to be strengthened in your faith rooted and grounded and built up in him don't be ignorant you have access to truth take advantage of truth amen amen all right let's be dismissed with prayer and Lord willing we'll see you Sunday morning and we pray that you'll be faithful and stay happy and healthy in the Lord till then father as we are dismissed thank you for this evening for each one that's able to be with us we are grateful for the liberty to have doors open to have a local church where we can come open up that precious book read it and study it proclaim its truth and Lord I pray that each person tonight would take it to heart their need to study these things out to search your word to know what they believe to know the truth and to be ready to give an answer to every man a reason of the hope that's in them I pray

[39:36] God that you'll grow us as we need to be grown little by little help us to desire the word of God and Lord I pray that you'll give light you'll give understanding to the simple and that we could be a pleasure to you because of our obedience and faithfulness to you in your word please bless as we go home please keep each one safe we pray these things in Jesus name amen amen you are dismissed walking out of this call and because of what you have to do isn't going to be too cas.

[40:41] Okay. Once you're pacing out behind us, you will be a boy. Wait. Thank you.
