[0:00] And I'm excited about this one this morning because I really love doctrine.! It does something for me because I know the Word of God is true.
[0:11] And I believe every Word of God. And I believe that truth is found and displayed in this book. And we're going to cover something this morning that is, it is doctrine.
[0:23] And it's going to be a blessing to you and a help to you. The greater handle you have on this doctrine, the better you're going to be in this life. The more peace you'll have in this life. The more confidence you'll have as well in this life.
[0:38] And the doctrine is that of eternal security. So, Colossians 3, let's read together the first four verses. He already got it, Mark.
[0:49] Verse 1 says, If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on the things on the earth.
[1:03] For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
[1:16] Now, I want to show you this morning that Paul makes one of the greatest statements that proves the eternal security of the believer. It's a doctrine that is scoffed at.
[1:27] It is a doctrine that is very often misrepresented and misunderstood by many today. Many believers today do not understand and do not agree with the concept that once you're saved, you're always saved.
[1:42] That once you have salvation, once you believe on Christ, you can never lose it. And there's a lot of our brothers that don't agree with that. They wrestle with that because they go to some scriptures and they try to prove their point.
[1:57] And we rightly divide the word of truth. But today, we're just going to park right here and get something out of this passage that I believe is going to help us understand this. If you're not familiar with this doctrine, I've already kind of declared it, but the teaching is that when you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation, when you're born again, when there's a spiritual birth that takes place and you have been given the gift of eternal life by God, the teaching is that that life is eternal, like it's called, everlasting life, and that you can't lose it by sinning or by not believing or by anything in this life that that life is not yours to lose.
[2:41] The teaching is you're eternally secure and you possess eternal life in Christ and you don't have to fear losing it or fear being condemned with the ungodly because you, as a believer, are now secure in Jesus Christ for eternity.
[3:01] And so the phrase eternal security of the believer is a doctrine. It's a New Testament doctrine. It's not an Old Testament doctrine. And it's not a tribulation doctrine. But it's a doctrine for this age as taught by the Apostle Paul.
[3:14] In verse number 3, would you turn your attention back to chapter 3 and verse 3, Paul says, For ye are dead and your life is hid with Christ in God.
[3:25] This is the verse that we're going to really park and expound upon this morning. And it starts by saying, For ye are dead. Now, before we go into this passage and really dig into it, I need to just introduce some things.
[3:38] Would you code your place but flip back over to Romans chapter 6. I want to read a passage here with you that helps us understand why Paul says, Ye are dead.
[3:50] Ye are dead. Romans chapter 6, and we're going to read the first 10 verses together. And so find that place and then follow along as we read. Verse number 1, the Apostle Paul says, What shall we say?
[4:03] Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we that are dead to sin live any longer therein? Know ye not that so many of us, as were baptized into Jesus Christ, were baptized into his death?
[4:22] I need to pause and help us understand when he says baptized, he's not talking about getting dunked in a river or getting dunked in a baptism tank. That is not a water baptism. That baptism is to be placed into something.
[4:34] You can be placed into water. But also John the Baptist warned that they'd be baptized by fire. Somebody's going to get placed into fire eternally. And not only is there a baptism of water, baptism of fire, but there's also a baptism being placed into Jesus Christ.
[4:51] That is the body of Christ. Know ye not that so many of us, as were baptized into Jesus Christ, were baptized into his death? When you were placed in Jesus Christ, you're associated with the death of Christ.
[5:06] And that's not all. Verse 4 says, Therefore we are buried with him by baptism. You were also buried. He was buried three days and three nights. And being in Christ, you're associated with that too.
[5:18] Not only the death and the burial, but guess what else? The resurrection, verse 4 continues, that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
[5:32] For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, that's not being dunked in water, is it at all? Being planted together. That's what the baptism is. Being placed into.
[5:43] In the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection, knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him. Paul said, That the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin, for he that is dead is freed from sin.
[6:05] Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him, knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more, death hath no more dominion over him.
[6:17] For in that he died, he died unto sin once, but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. And then from that we have victory, we have the ability to have victory over our sin, and our old man, our dead man, being alive unto God.
[6:30] Now, come back to Colossians 3. Paul says, Ye are dead. So, I'll stand before you. Toby Wolski, the sinner, is dead. Actually, he's always been dead.
[6:43] He's never been alive. He's never been alive unto God. But when I believed on Jesus Christ for my personal salvation, when I as a sinner, full of sin, came to him and called on his name for forgiveness of those sins, he gave me his righteousness, and he gave me his life.
[7:04] The life of Jesus Christ. His life. And that life that has been given to me, the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
[7:17] The gift of eternal life that was given to me is not something that I hold on to, and that I cling to and embrace with all my being, else it slipped through my grasp and I lose it.
[7:29] It's not something that I'm doing anything to keep. I'm not the holder of the eternal life. Jesus Christ is the holder of my eternal life, and he's the holder of my salvation.
[7:44] If he can lose it, then I'm in trouble, and I don't have a leg to stand on. Now, back in Colossians 3, I'm going to spend the time on that second portion of the verse.
[7:57] It says, And your life is hid with Christ in God. Your life is hid with Christ in God. There's our eight words, an eight-word phrase, that are broken up into four couples of two words.
[8:13] Your life is hid with Christ in God. And I want to analyze the components of this phrase, and I believe that you'll agree with me when we're finished, that this is, in fact, one of the greatest statements on the doctrine of eternal security, and one that you need to believe and understand to its entirety.
[8:35] So let's pray, and then let's get into this text. Father, please bless as we study your words, and believe your words. Give us faith to believe, and give us minds to understand and receive.
[8:48] And God, may I say only things that are true. Please guard me. May I not mislead your people in any way. I do not want to be guilty of that. And so God, guard my mouth, and bless your word, and give us faith, we pray in Jesus' name.
[9:03] Amen. Amen. So the Apostle Paul says, Your life is hid with Christ in God. Let's start with the first two words, Your life.
[9:14] Your life. Well, if I'm dead in my sins, I don't have any life at all. Well, no, I don't. But your life. Well, what life is that? Verse 4 tells me what life that is, when Christ, who is our life, so my life is not mine at all.
[9:33] When Paul says, Your life, he's referring to the life of the Lord Jesus Christ, that he has given me. Without Jesus Christ, I don't have life.
[9:46] Without Jesus Christ, I'm dead in my trespasses, and in my sins, Ephesians 2 and verse 1. I am not alive unto God. Keep your place. Flip back about 8 or 10 pages to Galatians chapter 2.
[10:00] Find Galatians chapter number 2. Your life, Paul says. Your life.
[10:13] Look at what he tells us and teaches in verse number 20. I am crucified with Christ. Nevertheless, I live yet. Not I, but Christ liveth in me.
[10:30] When Paul says your life, He's talking about Jesus Christ living in you. The life of Jesus Christ. He's not talking about what a good person you are now that you're saved.
[10:44] He's not talking or applauding you for your good works, and your good attitude, and your good and wonderful sweet spirit. No, he's only referring to one thing when he says your life, and that is Jesus Christ's life in you.
[10:59] He's not talking about how you were born. He's not talking about what ethnicity you are, how easy you've had it, how hard you've had it, your successes and your failures, your health and your sicknesses.
[11:11] He's not talking, when he says your life, he's not referring to your family, or your address where you live, or your employment, or your career, or success, or your college degree. Not that. Your life.
[11:23] The only thing that is, is the life of, is Christ living in me. The life of Jesus Christ. He is the resurrection and the life.
[11:34] He is the way, the truth, and the life. Your life, is completely, and eternally, dependent, and connected to, the life of the Lord Jesus Christ.
[11:46] So if you understand that, the first two words, your life, that's what he's talking about. Not about the way you live, and the choices you make. He's talking about, Jesus Christ in you.
[11:59] If you understand that, let's go to the next portion. Colossians 3, verse 3. Your life, is hid. Your life is hid.
[12:11] The life, that Jesus Christ, has given, and promised to you, is currently, hidden away. You can't see it.
[12:23] You can't, flaunt it around. It's hidden. Your life is hid. It's there. It's not evident.
[12:34] It's not going anywhere. It's going to be there, when you need it. But it's not going to be, manifested quite yet. Your life, is hid.
[12:47] When you got saved, when you called on Christ, and you just dropped everything, and said, I'm not going to try to, earn my way to heaven. I'm not trying to please God, by the way I live, or what I do, or what I give.
[12:59] I'm just going to trust Jesus. When you got saved, what changed about you? Did you all of a sudden, adorn these white, raiments clean, and white, just glowing, and glorious?
[13:15] Did some power, start to course through your veins, that you could ascend, to heaven? That you could, walk through the walls? So what took place, when you were born again?
[13:28] When you were, made alive in Christ? You didn't receive any power. You didn't receive, any spectacular might.
[13:39] Your outside appearance, didn't change at all. if anything, maybe your, maybe your countenance changed, when the burden of sin, was relieved from you, and when peace and hope, came inside of you.
[13:53] Maybe that changed, maybe your attitude changed, maybe your character changed, by the indwelling Holy Spirit. But your life, is hid.
[14:05] Paul said, your eternal life, is not yet manifested. That's why you don't feel it. That's why you don't see it. That's why you get, when you go to a good meeting, and you get around good preaching, and good brothers and sisters, and good fellowship, and it feels clean, and it feels pure, and when you sing with all your heart, and you praise the Lord, and you're just in that zone, of worshiping God, it feels so good, and then you go home, and you're exhausted, and you're wore out, because this body, just is not made, to do that, to keep doing that, to sustain that, spiritual exhilaration, and joy, because that, has not yet been manifested yet.
[14:55] Your life, is hid. You go home, and you crash. You as a being, you're saved, in the new man, but as a being, you're still the same, nothing you were, before you got saved.
[15:16] You were nothing then, and you're nothing now, and you're going to remain nothing, until Jesus Christ, completes the work of adoption, without me, ye can do nothing, and that's what you are, and so, God in his glory, and his promise, is he's going to conform you, to the image of his son, he's going to one day, change your vile body, and fashion it like, unto his glorious body, and that's why, though you're saved today, you still don't get the victory, over your sins.
[15:50] That's why, though you're saved today, you still respond, in wrath, or you still entertain, worldly thoughts, and fleshly lusts, and you still get distracted, by things that, shouldn't appetize you, but they do.
[16:07] Although you have, the gift of eternal life, that life has not yet, been manifest, your life is hid, it's hid, it's hidden, for now, it's hidden from view, so maybe, there's some verses, of scripture, that can, you can get some understanding on, one time, the apostle Paul says, that if we sow, to the spirit, we shall of the spirit, reap life everlasting, another time, he tells us, to fight the good fight, of faith, and that we'd lay hold, on eternal life, and what he's not saying, is that if you do good works, and labor, that you will, earn your salvation, or be rewarded, with salvation, but he's only acknowledging, that our eternal life, is not yet manifested, and our labors, can work, toward that manifestation, toward that inheritance, he says, our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us, a far more exceeding, and eternal weight, of glory, the Bible seems, to indicate, that your eternal life, when it is manifested, in a glorious new body, there are levels, to that, there are weights, to that glory, and so when he tells you, that you sow, to the spirit, you'll reap life everlasting, that's what he's talking about, you're adding, to the glory, all right, now we can't go off, on that, but your life, is hid, and back in verse 3 again, the next two words, say this, your life is hid, with Christ, your life is hid, with Christ,
[17:49] Jesus Christ, is the holder, of your eternal life, the Lord Jesus Christ, is the banker, he holds the note, and it's secure, with him, he's the author, and the finisher, of our faith, he's the alpha, the first Greek letter, of what was, this new testament, originally written, in the Greek, and the omega, the last letter, of that alphabet, he's the beginning, and the end, the first, and the last, he alone, Jesus Christ, is before all things, and by him, all things consist, he has the keys, of death, and hell, he said, in John 5, as the father, hath life, in himself, so hath he given, to the son, to have life, in himself, he is the holder, of your eternal life, your life, is the life, of Jesus Christ, Christ, who is our life, and Jesus Christ, holds that life, that life, is hid, with Christ, and when he appears, so does our life,
[19:01] Colossians 3, verse 4, when Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear, with him in glory, let me put some more Bible, on this, keep your place, but let's go back, to the book of 1 John, and find 1 John, chapter 1, all the way to the back, short epistle, 1 John, when Jesus Christ, appears, so will your life, and this already, happened once, and the apostles, proclaimed this, to be the case, that when Jesus Christ, appeared, life was manifested, in verse number 1, of this epistle, that which was, from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen, with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands, have handled, of the word of life, the word, John calls Jesus, the word, that was manifest, or that became flesh, the word of life, he says, and when he uses, the word life, he has to add, a parenthesis, and say, for the life, was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and show unto you, that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us, that which we have seen, and heard, declare we unto you, that ye also, may have fellowship with us, and truly our fellowship, is with the Father, and with his Son,
[20:35] Jesus Christ, Christ, in John chapter 1, when John was introducing, to us the word, that was God, that created all things, he said in verse 4, in him, was life, in the word, was life, he's called the word, of life, and that life, was manifested, it was put on display, when Jesus Christ, came to this earth, he gave life, to the dead, he spoke words, of life, they were spirit, and they were life, and no man ever heard, man speak like him, he offers everlasting life, to all that believe on him, and that life eternal, will be manifested, when he again, appears, look at chapter 5, first John, oh wait, let's look at chapter 3, on the way, stop at first John chapter 3, and look at verses 1 and 2, verse 1 says, behold, what manner of love, the father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called, the sons of God, therefore the world, knoweth us not, because it knew him not, beloved, now are we, the sons of God, and it doth not yet, appear what we shall be, meaning it's not yet, manifest what we shall be, we are the sons of God, but it's not yet manifest, but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him, for we shall see him, as he is,
[22:08] Paul said, when Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear, with him, in glory, it doth not yet appear, what we shall be, but when he shall appear, we shall be like him, so we're going to be changed, Paul says in 1 Corinthians 15, that we shall be changed, this corruptible, must put on incorruption, this mortal, must put on immortality, you know what that is, that's eternal life, immortality, incorruptible bodies, look at chapter 5, now of 1 John, find chapter 5, when Jesus Christ, comes back, that life will be manifested, but for now, your life, is hid, with Christ, verse number 11, verse 11 says, and this is the record, that God hath given to us, eternal life, and this life, is in his son, he that hath the son, hath life, and he that hath not, the son of God, hath not life, these things, have I written unto you, that believe on the name, of the son of God, that ye may know, that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe, in the name of the son of God, why does he have to tell us, that we can know this, if we have it, because you don't feel it, because he's holding it, for you, he's the holder, of your eternal life, your life is hid with Christ, this life is in his son, and when he shall appear, that's when Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then it becomes final, and I'll show you that, in a minute, now let's finish, the passage in Colossians, chapter 3, come back there,
[24:01] Colossians 3, still got some more, Bible to cover, and the last two words, of this phrase, these four couples of words, your life, is hid with Christ, in God, in God, and this, is where it becomes clear, and this, is where the doctrine, gets settled, of the eternal security, of the believer, what power, in the universe, in God's creation, in all of existence, whether it's time, past, present, or future, what power, can undo, a work, that God has done, what person, what authority, can alter his working, the Lord says, in Isaiah, I will work, who shall let it, or who shall hinder, or stop my working, in Ecclesiastes, the writer says, I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be forever, forever, who, or what, can stop, the work of God, your life, is hid with Christ, in God, there is no being, and no power, and nor will there, ever be one, that can penetrate, or overcome, or overthrow, the work, of Almighty God, no being exists, that can undo, or can make void, the word, of Almighty God, if God said it, if he wills it, if he promised it, in hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised, before the world began, if he promised it, that it is final, it is fact, and it is fixed, now let me put some Bible, on that, come back to Romans chapter 8, you can lose your place, in Colossians, if you would like, we're finished there,
[26:00] Romans chapter 8, and the very end, of this passage, is one of the greatest, portions of the Bible, that gives us confidence, in this doctrine, I want to back up, let me start, in verse 32, ah, 31, what shall we say, to these things, if God, before us, there's the business, who can be, against us, who's going to, get in his way, if he's going, to do something, the previous, dozen verses, is exactly, about this topic, of being, given your glorified body, and when the eternal life, is manifested, in you, and when you become, it's, the manifestation, of the sons of God, in verse 19, now are we, the sons of God, we read in John, first John 3, but it does not yet, appear what we shall be, in verse 19, there it is, the manifestation, of what we are, and I'm not going, to get into that, but continuing, from verse 31, who can be, against us, he that spared, not his own son, but delivered him, up for us all, how shall he not, with him, also freely, give us all things, who shall lay, anything, to the charge, of God's elect, it is God, that justifieth, who is he, that condemneth, nobody, you can't, you can't overthrow, the authority of God, it is Christ, that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even, at the right hand, of God, who also maketh, intercession for us, who shall separate us, from the love of Christ, now do you know, this passage, all of these things, he lists, and there's not one thing, he could come up with, that he could ever, conceive or think of, that can separate us, from the love of Christ, and now notice, verse 39, as he closes it, he says, nor height, nor depth, nor any other, creature, shall be able, to separate us, from the love of God,
[28:09] Christ, the love of Christ, in verse 35, is the love of God, which is in Jesus Christ, our Lord, Jesus said in John 10, I and my father, are one, we are one in the same, nothing shall be able, to separate us, from the love of Christ, nothing shall be able, to separate us, from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus, your life is hid, with Christ, in God, now let me show you, one more, let's go to, there's only two more passages, we're going to turn to, John 10, just mention that, phrase, find it, John 10, you may know, this passage, verse 27, through 29, 29, your life, is hid with Christ, in God, the love of God, is in Jesus Christ, and nothing's going to, separate you from that, and here's some more, proof for that,
[29:14] John chapter 10, in verse 27, my sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me, and I give unto them, eternal life, and they shall never, perish, neither shall any man, pluck them out of my hand, and if that's not good enough, my father, which gave them me, is greater than all, and no man is able, to pluck them out of my father's hand, I and my father, are one, no man, is able, and that disqualifies me, from removing myself, because no man, why would Jesus, even have to say that, no man, is able to pluck them out of my hand, like duh, and my father's greater than all, and he says it again, no man is able to, why would he have to say, anything about man, created mortal beings, because I'm one of them, and I can't even, pluck myself out, my life, your life, is hid with Christ, in God, but what if I sin, well, praise the Lord Jesus Christ, that your life, is hid with Christ, in God, but what if I stop believing, and what if I, what if I give in, and I give up on Christ, and I just give, just walk away, from the whole thing, again, to God alone, be the glory, that your life, is hid with Christ, in God, what if I curse God, what if I blaspheme, the Holy Ghost, what if I commit, the unpardonable sin, they talk about,
[31:18] God, thank the Lord Jesus Christ, your life, is hid with Christ, in God, I want to take you, to one more pace, and it's in 1st Peter, this is our last place, to turn, 1st Peter, got to put a lot of Bible, on this this morning, it's not an easy subject, 1st Peter chapter 1, your eternal life, is safe, because it's hid with Christ, in God, your eternal life, believer, is secure, he's holding on to it, for you, if you could lose it, you would lose it, you would have lost it, many times over, it makes, I got to stop here, it makes absolutely, no earthly sense, to me, that I can believe, on Christ, for eternal life, and now, I have to do my best, to keep it, I did nothing, to receive it, and now I have to earn it, or maintain it, what sense, does that make, to say, well you better live it, or you're going to lose it, well then I lost it, and I'll never keep it, for 24 hours,
[32:35] I'll never keep it, what kind of insanity, is that, it's pride, is what it is, it's a man, wanting to show, his worth, and his value, and, going to scripture, to prove it, let's look at, this one last passage, in 1st Peter chapter 1, verse 3, blessed, be the God, and father, of our Lord, Jesus Christ, amen, which, according to his, abundant mercy, amen, hath begotten us, again, unto a lively hope, by the resurrection, of Jesus Christ, from the dead, to an inheritance, incorruptible, and undefiled, that fadeth not away, reserved, in heaven, for you, who are kept, by the power, of God, through faith, unto salvation, ready, to be revealed, in the last time, wherein, ye greatly rejoice, though now, for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness, through manifold temptations, that the trial, of your faith, being much more precious, than of gold, that perisheth, though it be tried, with fire, might be found, unto praise, and honor, and glory, at the appearing, of Jesus Christ, what did we already learn, about the appearing, of Jesus Christ, when he shall appear,
[34:00] Christ, who is our life, shall appear, he's holding our life, our eternal life, when he shall appear, will be changed, will be like him, verse 8 says, whom not, having not seen, ye love, in whom though now, ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice, with joy unspeakable, and full of glory, receiving the end, of your faith, even the salvation, of your souls, this verse, trips some people up, but you need, to understand, that the salvation, of your soul, is just like, your eternal life, it is in, Jesus Christ, and when he shall appear, you're going, to receive the end, you're going, it's going, to be finished, it's going, to be manifested, you're not working, and staying faithful, until he appears, so that you can receive it, you're kept, verse 5, by the power, of God, he saved you, made you, his child, has given you, the spirit, of adoption, the spirit, of the Holy Spirit, of promise, he's not going, to break his promise, he's not going, to go back, on his word, his word, is good, and your salvation, is just like, your eternal life, it is in Christ, and if you're in Christ, when Christ shall appear, you'll appear with him, in glory, because he is our life, your life, is hid, with Christ, in God, so I don't feel saved, well, you will, you will, when he comes back, and when you're changed, oh, you'll feel it, you'll feel eternal life, you'll feel something, you've never knew existed,
[35:58] I hath not seen, nor ear heard, nor entered, into the heart of man, when Jesus Christ, comes back, and eternal life, is manifested, when the, when you are, the sons of God, the creature right now, is groaning, waiting for the adoption, the redemption, of our body, well, when that day comes, you'll be conformed, to the image, of his son, and it'll be manifest, and it's, happily ever after, for now, believe, and understand, that you are secure, in Jesus Christ, because he's the holder, of your salvation, he's the holder, of your eternal life, and you're not, going to get it, and experience it, and know it, in its fullness, until he appears, and changes us, to be like him, in the meantime, now are ye, the sons of God, the spirit of God, beareth witness, that we are, the children of God, that's who we are, and in the new man, is righteousness, and true holiness, and we're to walk, in that new man, and to not fulfill, the lust of the flesh, but don't doubt, your salvation, not when you sin, not when you have, a bad day, not when somebody, is on the radio, or on the TV, or on YouTube, teaching some false doctrine, don't buy it, believe what Paul, taught us today, your life is hid, with Christ, and it's in God, and nobody's, taking that away, nobody,
[37:36] Father, thank you, for this truth, may it, give rest, to our spirits, give peace, in our hearts, may we, be satisfied, to know this is true, God, I pray that no one, ever again, doubt their salvation, and I pray Lord, as we do, and as the conflicts, arise in this world, that you point us, back to the scripture, and to the promise, you made, and to the explanation, that you just gave us, of where our eternal life is, and whose life it is, in the first place, God, I just want to say thank you, that it's not dependent, upon my faithfulness, or my performance, thank you that it's, Jesus Christ's life, and that it's his faithfulness, and his performance, we rest 100% in you, and trust your word, thank you so much for it, thank you for truth, thank you for what it does to us, how it gives us energy, and confidence, and hope, and may we walk in that hope, and rejoice in that hope, that although we haven't seen him, we love him, and we rejoice with joy unspeakable, and full of glory, and it's all something, that you've done in us, as we're here this morning,
[39:09] I'm just going to dismiss you, in a moment, but I want to say, that this is a doctrine, if you've, if you've wrestled with it, then maybe today, you get it settled, and maybe, maybe you even need, to come to the Lord, and just get down, and say, God, I believe your word, I'll stop doubting you, I'll stop doubting you, I'll stop fighting you, about this, I'll stop imagining, that I have a hand, in my salvation, and start believing, because you'll doubt, I've doubted in my lifetime, you'll doubt, the dark doubt, will come to your mind, and you need to be prepared, to cast it down, with the word of God, so if there's anything, you want to do, business with the Lord, before we dismiss, we'll sing a hymn here, and I'll give you an opportunity, to just deal with God, talk things over, and maybe just thank him, whatever's on your heart, you go ahead and do that, and I'll stand, turn to page 466, a group of brothers, a group of brothers, a group of brothers, a group of brothers, a group of brothers, a group of brothers, a group of brothers, a group of brothers,
[40:14] Thank you.
