Matt Usherwood

Matt was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario, and didn’t come to faith until later in life as a teenager. Since then he has been involved in various ministry roles and denominational settings. Before becoming a curate at New Song Church, Matt served as a Ministry Intern at Church of the Messiah. He is an ordained transitional deacon in the Anglican Network in Canada (ANiC) and a graduate from Ryle Theological Seminary (Ottawa, ON).

Matt is happily married to Amy and they are the proud owners of two budgies. In their spare time, they enjoy reading, rock climbing, strong coffee, and travelling to the UK.
