Points:

1. Everything from the big story of the Old Testament to its tiniest details are fulfilled in the birth, life, work, and person of Jesus of Nazareth.

2. Jesus is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords of every tribe and nation. Charles III is just a king.

3. Envy is both a common, deadly vice that robs you of joy and makes you experience the truth as offensive and painful.

4. The object of opening the mind, as of opening the mouth, is to shut it again on something solid. (G. K. Chesterton)

5. Filled with envy, you want to knock others down, down, down. Jesus Christ humbled Himself to death upon a cross - love to the loveless shown that you might loved and lovely be.

6. To know Christ Jesus and to grow in Christ-likeness you need to put all your envy to death and choose to grow in open mindedness.
