[0:00] The times they are changing. The world that we're living in is different from what it was just a few decades ago. It's a different world. It's changing and it's changing fast.
[0:11] ! There's a lot of talk about change today. There's an election pending in the US and there's a man called Barack Obama, one of the prime presidential candidates.
[0:27] He's a change agent. A change agent. His slogan is, change you can believe in. Change you can believe in. And there was a bit of a parody of the different presidential candidates.
[0:41] They're all using this buzz word, change. Change, change, change. They're big on offering change. If he gets in, this man, he promises to bring change that people can believe in.
[0:53] Some of the things he stands for is, he's very pro-abortion, pro-homosexual, for example. Change, certainly change is on the way. Change is already happening. Change in itself is not necessarily a bad thing. It depends if it really is changed for the better or not. God does not change. God's word is still the same. God's standards have never changed. God's word is still as it is written for us today.
[1:23] So what was wrong in yesteryear is still wrong. What was a sin yesterday is a sin today. Imagine if you could go back in time and you could imagine what life was like.
[1:39] I mean, this could have been Julie and I, last century. You know, we wouldn't have stopped at three. You know, we would have, an old-fashioned picture of an old-fashioned family. Maybe this godly Christian family, if they were such, from the 1800s, if they were to come and visit with you today, visit with you and your family today, and come and visit in your home and observe your lifestyle, what would they think?
[2:04] What would they see that was different today about how we live, about your way of living, what you enjoy, how you dress and speak, your music, the TV shows and movies you watch.
[2:20] Think about TV, how TV has changed our lives. Massive changes have occurred, haven't they? Think about TV, television has great power. Great power. It's had an evident impact on beliefs, on values, on culture, on morals.
