The New World Order

[0:00] Let's go to the Word of God again now. And I'm going to be projecting the words, but the first scripture, if you want to look it up in your Bible, is my sign of mine, verse 6.

[0:10] And you see that the title on your message, you think, New World Order. There's a lot of talking about the New World Order, isn't there? I'm talking about a different New World Order than what probably, like, that's my friends and mine. Because I'm talking about some changes that lie ahead for us. They are holding their eyes and they're like, changes that lie ahead. They have future.

[0:32] Some new things are coming. And we will face them soon in a new world. A coming New World Order. I'm talking about some end times changes that the Bible tells will happen.

[0:48] And now there's a lot of talking about a New World Order. There's probably not a good one by the way I'm reading it. But the one that I'm talking about will be a good one.

[0:58] A good one, not a bad one, but a good in World Order. Now look, there needs to be a prophet here, but I can tell you what the Bible foretells. Because if I'm not working on it, I can tell you what's going to happen.

[1:12] So fasten your seatbelts and get ready. The Bible shows us some things that are about to happen. Some things that are yet to come. And it's for that reason that there's biblical authority in what I declare on to you today.

[1:24] This is not just my own manufactured mind. This is what does God's Word actually say will happen. That's important. We ought to know what's going to happen. The author of history, which is his story, tells us what's going to happen.

[1:39] And the first thing that we can know that it will change is the government will change. The government will change. Now, I've worked in government, in formal government, in state government.

[1:52] I'm involved in local government. There's government, humanly speaking, and does the best job it can as much as it usually fails. But that's what we're looking for.

[2:03] So one day the government will change. The government will change. And it says that here, in Isaiah 9 verse 6, it says, For unto us a child is born. Unto us a son is given.

[2:15] And it says the government shall be upon his shoulder. And his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.

[2:28] Notice it says the government shall be upon what? His shoulder. Isn't that something to look forward to? That's going to be a new world order. That's going to be a good one. Amen.

[2:39] The ultimate new world order is going to be here to find the most wonderful government you can imagine. You know, you might have political mislead and hope that certain persons or powers will come to take authority over our nation and whatever your political colour might be.

[3:00] But I'm telling you, this one beats the law. The ultimate government is going to be upon his shoulder and nothing beats that. It's speaking about the Lordship of Christ. The Lordship of Christ.

[3:11] One of those who says in the Word of God, He will return and resume His rightful rulership over planet Earth. He will be the King. The King of Kings. And it says the King of this Kingdom.

[3:25] It will be arrayed with absolute peace. With perfect law and order. There won't be any corruption in this government. Okay? There's going to be government with wisdom and with perfection.

[3:36] Aren't you looking forward to that? Yes. The government is going to be upon his shoulder. The powers of the government in the meantime are temporary. And they're human. There's human error there.

[3:48] There's human failings there. How do you mean a change of government? A change of government. Now, like I was saying, I've worked in some roles in government and when there's a political time in terms of election time, you know, the next day everything can change.

[4:05] I've been identified that. They changed the names of the departments. You know, they changed the directions of the policies. There's a complete kind of, sometimes it's a reversal from what I've been doing before.

[4:17] I remember I was working in government in a job that was to do a youth employment. And I was a project officer that was responsible for developing the state's youth employment strategy.

[4:30] They got me to write it. I was the main author of this youth employment strategy. And I got it pretty much halfway done. And then there was a change of government that said, throw it out.

[4:40] I'm not doing that anymore. So all that work was lost. All that intent was gone. And it's just a change of government. Everything changes when there's a change of government.

[4:51] I put to you today, there's a good change of government that's coming. A radical change. The world today is temporarily under the sway of an evil tyrant, the devil.

[5:02] But in the meantime, the Bible tells how Satan is the small dead of this world. And he has some temporary power. And no wonder we see some messed up things done in our world today going on all around us.

[5:16] We see because who's in charge temporarily? Satan. The Bible tells how Satan has a kingdom and he has a throne. It tells how he has an authority but it's limited.

[5:28] He's not ever called a king. He's only ever called a prince. He's just not quite there. He's not the king. He's the ruler of the darkness of this world. Thank God the darkness is temporary.

[5:42] Amen? The darkness is temporary. There will be a change of government. That's a good thing. I'm looking forward to that, aren't you? This change of government is not something temporary.

[5:55] It's forever. This change of government. This new world government is not going to be wasteful or tyrannical. There's going to be nothing bad about it. You know, the gossip magazines, the newspapers aren't going to find any dirt on this government because it's God's government.

[6:12] Amen? He will be the governor. The governor will be upon his shoulder. And this new governor, he is just, he is kind, he supplies our every genuine need. He cares for us individually and he can text our true welfare.

[6:28] There's no greater government than the government that is upon his shoulders. He will govern with compassion, with mercy, with truth, with love. Thank God we can know that rightful rule of the planet earth.

[6:43] He will one day take charge. And what a change that will be. He will right the wrongs and he will establish a perfect government. What's more, we can know this new government personally, this side of heaven.

[6:58] Wow. Yes. You know, it's a way. The government compared upon his shoulders in the here and now, in your life and the present sense, isn't he the remnant of your heart?

[7:11] That's what matters. Do you know his lordship over your life? He can. You can know him. As his name declares him to be the prince of peace.

[7:23] peace. Wow, wouldn't that be good? To have peace, God's peace. You can know that. You can know the one who is the prince of peace. Or are you at war with God?

[7:35] Thank God you can surrender. God's peace. Yes, Lord. Is your life like a journey across a troubled, restless, sin? You know, the Bible tells us how the wicked, unbelievers, are like a troubled sin.

[7:51] We have to come and rest because the Lord has cast up fire and dirt. This is yucky, you know, this is mucking, yucky, mire and dirt. Restless. There is no peace.

[8:03] Stay with my God, it's the wicked. Friends, we don't want to stay there. We want to find the prince of peace. Amen. Judgment is coming. Will you bow the knee to him?

[8:14] One day you will. You must. Every knee it says in the Bible, every knee shall ultimately bow. It costs me your allegiance, your loyalty and your love.

[8:26] Will you bow the knee to him? Why not do it now? Amen. Today, do it today. He has made peace possible for you by the blood of the cross, his cross.

[8:44] So, the government will change. I'm looking forward to that. And the government can change in your heart and life in the present tense. A sure thing that's about to change in this coming final new world order is this.

[8:59] Secondly, the environment will change. the environment of our world is going to change. The environment of this planet will radically change. We'll get a complete makeover.

[9:12] This final new world order will meet a radical culture shift. By the time being, let's face it, the Bible tells us this earth is under a curse.

[9:24] The curse of sin began with Adam and his disobedience. The curse of sin began in the garden beneath when they haven't found the sin. And the planet's not been the same since then.

[9:37] The planet now has been torn with wars, with plagues, with COVID. We see suffering, poverty, distressed. The environment's not good, is it?

[9:49] Let's face it, right now. As there's a lot of things on that, we see the culture of this present world is often hostile towards God, and becoming openly more sinful.

[10:01] One day, that will change. One day, the environment will change. You see what it says. For example, 2 Peter 3, 1 Peter 10, it talks about the day of the Lord.

[10:15] And his ultimate coming, he says, the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, and the whips of heavens shall pass away, and the great noise, bang, and the elements shall melt.

[10:26] With third heat, the earth also, and the works that are there in shall be burned up. That sounds like radical change, doesn't it? Environmental change, the heavens, the earth, and then it goes on.

[10:39] Same thing, that all these things will be dissolved. What manner of persons ought you to be? What manner of persons ought you to be? In all holy conversation, God is looking for, and hastening unto the coming of the day of God.

[10:59] It's saying, the heavens are going to change, the earth's going to change, so what are the people, or we don't believe this is going to be happening, hey, this will take note. And it reads further, that we're in the elements from now with fervent heat, I'm sorry, we're in the heavens being on twice the biggest soul, and the elements from now with fervent heat.

[11:28] Verse 13, it says, nevertheless, we, according to his promise, we, we, look for a new heavens and a new earth, we're in the world of righteousness.

[11:39] It's saying, everything's going to change, but we're looking for a new world, order, we're looking for the new heaven, we're looking for the new earth, and this new earth is new heavens, it says, righteousness is going to dwell in, now as much changed as much took these days of days of climate change, you know, whatever your thoughts are on that, I tell you, there is going to be some climate change, absolutely, the Bible says, one thing's for sure, the biggest change to the climate, to the environment, is when Jesus comes, and it says when he comes, righteousness is going to dwell in the earth, I don't think we dare him, and some people think we're already there, no, I don't think righteousness dwells in the earth, but there's going to be a whole brand new atmosphere, that the Bible tells it's yet to come, so as the heavens and the earth are going to be refreshed, made brand new again, the beauty of the garden of Eden will be restored, and it'll be well aligned, this is the change that we surely need.

[12:43] let me be framing, we see the culture of our nation, as reflected in the shame of Sydney, this very weekend, surely we sadly and desperately need a change, a change to our world, our world's environment, our world's cultures, for God to change the planet, that he can make it a place of righteousness and joy.

[13:14] I was interested to hear, today is clean up Australia day, clean up Australia day, that's today, I think it's good timing after the party grow, isn't it, clean up Australia, that's a good thing, isn't it, clean up Australia, friends, I think Australia needs to clean up, a change to see if this is a planet defiled, and lose it by sin, but that's just one aspect, this world is godless, it's a God-hating world, and one day, thank God, there will be a cultural shift, there will be a new world order, and it says, God promises us here, it says, there will be a wonderful God-given righteousness that will come, and everything's going to be radically changed, and this comes as we see a revival in the heart, we can personally know, God's saving and changing, making us more like him, that there will be a reformation in the church that will be made more biblical and godly, that will be God-fearing people, that there will be a refreshing in our spiritual lives, in our communities, in our homes, in our families, friends, there's some wonderful changes ahead, wonderful changes, there's a wonderful new world order, it's a good one, a new world order, a new world order, it's not so good, we saw the ultimate new world order, friends, there's a wonderful change coming, and the

[14:41] Bible tells us what we're going to spend, we will be there, together with our loved ones, and know the Lord, I know, and as I talk, one of our numbers passed on, she's already there, in part, she's already in with the Saviour, she's face-to-face with Jesus today, Teresa, and the Bible talks about this wonderful change that is ahead, the environment is going to change people, the environment is going to change, everything is going to change, I'm turning ahead of myself, yeah, sorry, I haven't written this one down, so just listen to these words, tell them the words to project me, but Revelation 22, the back of the Bible that talks about what's going to happen, and it's what people say, in the back of the book, we see who's going to win, we see who's going to win, we see what's going to happen to the devil, we see that the Lord will take charge, and it's hell to heaven, in

[15:43] Revelation 22, just contemplate these words, Revelation 22, from verses 1 through 2, John says this, he showed me a pure river of water of light, clear as crystal, proceeding here at the throne of God of the land, and in the midst of the stream of it, on either side of the river was there a tree of light, which bared twelve manna of fruits, and healed of the fruit every month, and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, now there will no longer be the problem of pollution, you know, we saw some people on the way to church this morning, picking up rubbish on the side of the road, God bless them, there's a problem of pollution, but more so there's a problem of the pollution of the heart, and it talks about the pollution of the heart in the Bible, my Christ's Lord can rid us of the pollution of the heart, the pollution of sin, for all who trust in Him, one day He will bring you the earth to its pristine condition, just think of it, a pure water, a room of light, a tree of light, all manner of fruits, the leaves for healing, everything will be perfected, check out Revelation 22, that's your homework, if you like, have a look at heaven, Revelation 22, everything is going to change, the environment will change, there's an environment that actually can affect now, in you, that's a wonderful tree, what I'm talking about today, it's not high in the sky, you can die, you can have it in your heart, in the here and now, that's what it's the here after, you can have it in the here and now, amen, and you can change the environment of your heart, of your home, and affect the state of righteousness, not of your own making, what it is, a life with holiness and godliness, the sense that some can spend their lives, they're mostly in balances and emptiness, you know, the rat, the rat race, the trap, they're obsessing about earning money or wasteful living, and disappoint, really, why are we here?

[17:57] And their life is all about chasing, as someone called it, the almighty dollar, almost like they worshipped it. I would urge that rather that we make our lives a pursuit of what is wholesome and right, our use of our time to be wise, we can invest in activities that pass it account in an eternal way.

[18:18] It says, seeing then that all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons what you have been.

[18:29] And there's any expectation we can have of this soon-coming new world that will lift us even in the now to think of heavenly things, to live a life that's purposeful, with a heavenly purpose, a heavenly way of living, to have that higher, holier sense of purpose, that you live a whole life to higher ideals, worthy affections.

[18:50] And it should be the case, I'll put to you today, lovingly, that we can now consider what kind of people ought we to be. If everything's going to change, if the reality is there's a new heaven and a new earth, and he's going to take the government, it's going to be on his shoulders, why don't we consider now what kind of people ought we to be?

[19:10] What kind of life ought we to live? To honour our life in this state, in our life in the present, in the short span that we have, in readiness we're going to see what's going to happen.

[19:21] I was watching someone kind of illustrate the span of your life, and he said, take a piece of paper and write, make a square that's ten columns by ten rows, so you've got a hundred squares on a piece of paper, ten rows across, ten columns across, ten rows down.

[19:42] And he's saying, okay, he's making a point, and it really spoke to me, he said, okay, the average male list, he reckoned about 78, and the average female, 82.

[19:57] He says, okay, get a piece of paper with his hundred squares on it, and cross off all the things you get to, whether you're 78 or 82. So that's gone, that's gone from a piece of paper. And then you cross off, what age are you now?

[20:11] You cross off all the other boxes, however old you are now. And you think, that seems to write down, doesn't it? Strings it down from the top, bottom, and strings it down from the top.

[20:23] And you only left with, I think in my case, 15 years or so. It's not a lot really, is it? It's not a lot of time to go, people. What have we been living now in the light of the shortest time?

[20:40] In readiness, what is coming? Because the time is coming, friends. Your time is short. Are you living purposefully, knowing him, being that kind of person on your odds, but?

[20:54] But God says we ought to be, not men, not in church. What God would please die in how I live? What I do, he wants me to do. So the time is coming, friends. The government will change, yes?

[21:05] And the environment will change. And thirdly, in this final new world order, it says the employment's going to change. The employment's going to change. You're going to get a new job, a new role, a new occupation, and heaven will be our perfect new world.

[21:22] It tells us more about heaven. It says this about heaven. Oh, that's where I got that thing stuck. I'm putting that all place. But we see the river of fire, we see the trees of light, we see the healing, leaves, and the state, there's a healing.

[21:37] Just this one here, I've made a mistake there, that's the one I want, yeah. Revelation 22, verse 3, it says this, there's no more curse, but the throne of God and of the land shall be in it, and his servants will serve him.

[21:55] So notice this, just one zero in on that part there, it says his servants shall serve him. It says his throne will be there, it's going to be a new government, he's going to be seated on that throne, it says there's going to be no more curse for the new environment, there won't be a curse on the earth, there won't be a fallen planet, it's going to be restored for you, make new, and what's more, it says heaven will be a place of joyful service and activity, a new environment, now someone picture heaven as us sitting on clouds and strutting hearts, maybe that's, maybe we'll get that kind of heart lesson tonight, maybe we'll learn how to play a heart, I don't know, of course that's just someone's imagination, but honestly, heaven will be a place of activity, we won't be sitting there in holy hammocks and just, you know, just a waste of eternity away, but there's actually going to be some engagement in heaven, heaven is going to be a place of joyful service and activity, there's going to be no one unemployed there, you might be standing in unemployment queues, trying to get a welfare check, there's going to be no one sick or injured, or no one unable to be employed there, because you'll have full ability, no one will be sure of some useful activity, and the place of reward them, how can we imagine it, can we reckon that one day heaven is a place where his servants shall serve him, that's going to be joy, this is going to be joyful, there'll be purposeful, meaningful work for all to do, you'll find an engagement in this kingdom that occupies you and transforms you, to serve the king, to serve the lord, that's wonderful, this is not an accident then, to be occupied, to be transformed by the one who is the lord, and he invites us and says, to this wonderful fulfilment, to being in his service, have you met this master yet, he says to you, occupy till I come, there's a bible verse that has a parable, pictures how we should be occupied, as we're expecting our lord to come back, friends, I put to you today, you can live my purposefully, now, in your service, you don't have to wait to heaven, we have to serve

[24:21] God, right, you can serve God now, you don't have to wait till heaven, you can have a new allegiance now, a new lord, and this change can make you count every day a new opportunity, to be occupied with his kingdom, living to an eternity in you, maybe to move in some furniture, that can be an occupation you can do, isn't it, there's practical things you can do, there's practical ways you can show love, there's practical ways you can, in your workplace, in your work settings, you can learn honourably, be occupied with listening to the eternity of you, when you become his servant, your priority stays, don't it, there's a new change, there's a new thought process, what really matters to how I am, what time I am, he has an assignment for everyone, he has an appointment, a position just for you, you're perfectly fitted for it, sometimes I think we miss that, we decline the offer, because we know the lord jesus, he is a priest says, a priest says that the father can dare and do for his glory, and he sets our feet in motion, so we can actually think, not think of walking in a heavenly direction, even while I'm still mortally alive, before heaven, we can know how to serve God, and there's a joy in blessing, a foreign and great calling, every one of us has one, an opportunity, a potential, a continue, and he calls us to exhibit it, to industry, to harvest, to the plough, and friends, his yoke is easy, when you serve

[26:05] God, when you serve the lord jesus, he says, my yoke is easy, he says, my burden is light, it's not a burdensome thing, he'll find just the right fit for you, so I would you, I urge you, practically think of that, serve the lord jesus faithfully now, not for human reward or praise, be willing to lay down your life in service, service, in this coming new world, there's holy employment, but you need to know the same, his servants will serve him, even if it's been worse in our horrible sound cover, pulling your hair off, the things that look difficult, passing out trance, and knocking on doors, and talking to people about the same, and getting to the door slaying in your face, his servants will serve him, serve, serve him, him, doesn't matter whether you get any earthly credit, or perhaps on the back, here, we're waiting for his well done, when he's singing, the question is, are you his servant, there's no greater engagement you can pursue, and friends, serving while it's not a safe thing, or out of standing preaching, or certain roles, every Christian has a service to render, every believer has something they can do, and it could be in your employment place, he can be a wonderful testimony, and a wonderful witness to

[27:34] Christ, and he had his change in employment, if not, friends, you still belong to your old master, the Bible says you can only serve one master, that's an important point, Jesus says you can only serve one master, and I put you in the old master, it's the slave master of sin, Satan will keep your heart hold it, like the pharaohs kept the people of Israel, it was hard bondage, and it says the ways to sin is dead, it does not pay well to be under the devil's heavy yoke, you get his heavy yoke in the present, and you get the ways to sin later, and you can be set free, that's a wonderful truth, you can know the loving Lord, the Lord Jesus, it's his name, master, Lord, Lord Jesus, do you know this master, and friends, you can do this this side of heaven, in fact, if you don't find in this side of heaven, you won't get to heaven, so it's critical that you do it now, do it inside of heaven, and friends, this change happens for you personally, before you die, so think of it, if you can, on these thoughts

[28:49] I put to you, changes to look forward to, a change in three dimensions, there will surely be a new government, a new government that's going to be perfect, because the government's going to be on his shoulders, nothing means that, no flaws, no corruption, there might have to be an eye gag about this one, because this government's going to be perfect, through a new government, it's going to be a new environment, everything's going to be transformed, it's going to be perfect righteousness and peace, and God's presence, a new environment, and there's going to be an ill employment, his servants shall serve him, this change will happen now, personally, with a new commitment, a new life, the Bible talks about how we can have a new heart, you can actually have a heart transplant from God, the maker of your heart, that's mind-blowing, isn't it, the Bible tells about a heart change, it's possible to get a new heart from God, that he offers to you, a heart that's clean, it's clean, it's right for God, he offers that to you, and it comes as you're born again, so the greatest investment you can make in your life is to invest in what really counts, he says occupy, so I come, our Lord is coming, this new world order is coming, so we should wait, we should watch, we should work, we should be ready, the Bible talks much about preparing for this world, this new world order, so I've been pretty short with us soon this morning, so you're going to get a little bit extra time to get some fellowship together, let's be grateful as we thank these things that we've talked about today, the

[30:35] Christ and the cross, we think of the new world order, let's pray, how long God, we thank you that you are awesome and wonderful, how Christ, mighty God, everlasting God, Prince of Christ, and the government shall be on your shoulder, Lord, we're looking forward to that moment, when you take the rightful way to planet Earth and make it a whole brand new environment and give us some purposeful to do, a new engagement and Lord, we don't have to wait until heaven, we can have it now, know you as Lord, know you as the Lord, make our hearts brand new and give us a whole new dimension of living, Lord, that we can know you, the present tense and know that you're born again, Lord, we pray, you just want to have that wonderful discovery, help us to live in the light of your coming and consider what manner of people we ought to be as these things are very true, as your word promises, these things are just ahead of us, Lord, prepare us to one day, people prepare and make good for heaven, not by any work of my own, but by just trusting that provision that you're made for each one, that

[31:56] Lord, I simply trust you, say, Lord, Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for my sin, I trust you, help me, Lord, to grow in that, knowledge that faith, that how am I walking military, and thank you, Lord, for these things, that you're going to do you have to do you to you!
