Glory in the Lord

[0:00] Music Romans 11 verse 36 For of him and through him and to him are all things.

[0:19] Think of all the things that are of God.

[0:38] There are many things that we can praise God for. That originate from him. That come from his hand. Think of what we have that is of God. Of what he is the source.

[0:52] I can think especially for example of creation. Creation is of God. The whole of creation is all of his making. And salvation is also of his own granting.

[1:06] And our very Christian life itself. It's of him isn't it? It's all of him. All the glory is due unto him. Of him. Of him is creation.

[1:17] Think of creation. John 1 verse 3 All things were made by him. And without him was not anything made that was made. Creation was of him.

[1:29] Revelation 4 verse 11 Thou art worthy O Lord To receive glory and honour and power. Why? For thou hast created all things And for thy pleasure they are and were created.

[1:45] What a beautiful scripture. Revelation 4 verse 11 Thou hast created all things And for thy pleasure they are and were created. Creation is of him.

[1:57] The new creation is of him. The new creation. Salvation. Revelation 21 verse 5 And he that sat upon the throne said Behold I make all things new.

[2:10] The Lord Jesus makes all things new. New creation. Salvation. Think of Jonah. Jonah as he was just about to be spat out By the great fish upon the shore.

[2:23] Jonah in chapter 2 verse 9 In part it says Salvation is of the Lord. It was his prayer as he was Moments before he was spat onto the beach.

[2:38] He recognised as he prayed Salvation is of the Lord. Salvation. What does that mean? It means deliverance. It means safety.

[2:48] It means preservation. It encompasses all of these things. Salvation is of the Lord. We must acknowledge It is by God's sovereign hand That we have his gift.

[3:01] His gift. We can lay no claim Or merit for it. It is certainly not because we deserve it. It is by his doing. It is from his merciful act.

[3:13] It is because of him. As we see in Acts 4 verse 12 Who gets the glory for our salvation? Neither is there salvation in any other. For there is none other name under heaven Given among men Whereby we must be saved.

[3:30] It's that name That name which is above all names That one name That one saving name The name of Jesus. He is the source And the author The originator of salvation.

[3:42] He is the keeper of it The sustainer of it When we really come to acknowledge that To recognise that How humbling that truly is How humbling that truly is Romans 12 verse 3 It says For I say through the grace given unto me This is Paul To every man that is among you Not to think of himself More highly than he ought to think But to think soberly According as God had dealt To every man The measure of faith To every man Not to think more highly Than he ought to think That's you, me, everyone included Let's not think of ourselves More highly than we ought to think Sometimes we think We've got all kinds of knowledge And awareness And even our salvation But it's all unto him Unto him Unto him Glory be to him It's dealt by God It's given by God It's granted by God And it's kept by God Salvation Our only part Is in coming

[4:43] To him In coming To him And praise God He is able To save Don't you love the scripture Hebrews 7 25 Wherefore He is able To keep Now he is able To save Them To the uttermost That come Unto God By him Seeing He ever liveth To make Intercession For them He is able To save them To the uttermost That come Unto God By him How far is the uttermost?

[5:15] As far as the east Is from the west So far He's removed Our sins From us That's how great Our God's Grace is And salvation Is in him Salvation Is his Precious gift To us And it is from The one Who gave Himself For us Salvation Is a wonderful Privilege Isn't it?

[5:38] And so In realising that In receiving that How we ought to Keep humble Before him Keep humble Before him Because we could be Just as the next man Without Christ Let us keep humble It's not of us But it's according To his mercies We need to come To the end Of ourselves To know that His grace Is sufficient Salvation Is of The Lord It comes from His hand From those Nail pierced hands It is of him And by his grace We pass From death Unto life There's a transaction Made There's a There's a bridge Crossed There's a Chasm gulf A gulf That's spanned By his Blood By his cross That we can be Transported Translated From darkness To light From death To life And it's salvation It's his Precious love gift It's in him He is the one Who gave himself For us Verily

[6:38] Verily I say Unto you He that Heareth My word And believeth On him That sent Me Hath Everlasting Life Hath Everlasting Life Present Tense And shall Not come Into Condemnation But is Passed from Dead Unto Life Wouldn't You get Excited About that Wouldn't That be Something You've Got to Get Glad About I say It is Salvation And give Him glory Give Him glory Because salvation Is of Him And when we Realise that When we See that When we Look unto Him And see That It is Of Him It is By Him It is Unto Him You have No merit To claim We just Want to Crucify Our own Pride And realise That it Is Of Him And Secondly We see That We can Consider Not only What is Of Him But what Comes Through Him What is That Comes Through Him Through Him We can

[7:39] Live The Christian Life Through Him All The Christian Gifts And Graces Are From His Hand Through Him Through Our Lord And Saviour We are Able To Live The Christian Life We are Empowered And Enabled To In 2 In 2 Peter 1 Verse 3 We read According As His Divine Power Hath Given Unto Us All Things That Pertain Unto Life And Godliness Through The Knowledge Of Him That Hath Called Us To Glory And Virtue Through Him All Things That Pertain Unto Life And Godliness It's Through Him It's Through Him Brother Grace Is Through Him Love Is Through Him Peace Is Through Him Thank God That We can Know That Mercy Of God It's Through Him And If These Are Evident It is Because Of Him If These Are Absent It is Because Of Lack Of Him Lack Of Him Colossians 1 Verse 20 It And Having!

[8:38] The Blood Of His Cross By Him To Reconcile All Things To Himself By Him I Say Whether They Be Things In Heaven Or In Earth 1 Corinthians 1 Verse 29 Really Captures So Much That It's Astounding To Think Of What Comes Through Him Through Our Lord And Saviour 1 Corinthians 1 Verse 29 It Says Place For Flesh To Glory In His Presence Verse 30 But Of Him Are Ye In Christ Jesus Who Of God Is Made Unto Us Christ Jesus Who Of God Is Made Unto Us Listen To These Things Christ Jesus Is Made Unto Us Wisdom And Righteousness And Sanctification And Redemption That According As It Is Written Hear That Glory Let

[9:38] Him Glory In The Lord Let Him Glory In The Lord Look At These Things That We Get Through Our Lord And Saviour By His Tender Mercies Look At These Things That We Can Receive Through Him Today Our Wisdom Is Through Him Thanks Unto Him It Is A Gift From His Hand Even The Very Wisdom That You Have The Very Brains And Intellect And Reasoning And Thinking That You Have The Mind That You Have The Wisdom That You Have It's Through Him It's Through Him It Is Christ As We Grow In Favour And Stature As We Read Of Our Saviour Himself In Luke 2 52 Jesus Increased In Wisdom And Stature And Favour With God And Man Wisdom Comes From His Hand God Works In Us He Teaches Us Grace Teaches Us Wisdom Think Get Our Concordances As Homework And Look Up The Word Wisdom See What Wisdom Is All About

[10:39] In Proverbs We Could See Where Wisdom Is Our Very Saviour In A Type Form You Could Say And We Know But There Is A Contrast In Wisdom The Bible Says That There Is A Danger From Fleshly Wisdom But The Bible Says That Wisdom Puffeth Up Wisdom Can Puff Us Up In Other Words We Can Get Puffed Up Like A Puff A Fish Like Acting Like We Are The Bees Knees We Can Get Puffed Up And Proud By Our Own Wisdom And That's A Danger That We Need To Bear In Mind Because It Says Romans 12 16 To Be Of The Same Mind One To Another We Are Cautioned Against Pride And Self Will And The Wisdom That We Need Is The Wisdom That Is From

[11:39] Above In James 3 Verse 13 It Says Who Is A Wise Man And Endured With Knowledge Among You Let Him Show Out Of A Good Conversation His Works With Meekness Of Wisdom But If You Have Bitter Envy And Strife In Your Hearts Glory Not And Lie Not Against Brothers Sisters A Wisdom That Is From The Earth From The World A Wisdom That Is Full Of Bitter Envy And Strife That Is Earthly Sensual Devilish It Says Verse 16 For Where Envy And Strife Is There Is Confusion And Every Evil Work But Listen To This This Is The Good News The Wisdom That Is From Above But The Wisdom That Is From Above From Above From God God's Wisdom Is First Pure Then Peaceable Gentle And Easy To Be Entreated Full Of Mercy And Good Fruits Without Partiality And Without Hypocrisy

[12:39] And The Fruit Of Righteousness Is Sown In Peace Of Them That Make Peace The Wisdom That Is From Above That Should Be Our Goal That Wisdom That Is From Above Not The Wisdom That Is From The Earth 1 Corinthians 2 16 It Says For Who Hath Known The Mind Of The Lord That He May Instruct Him But We Have A Mind Of Christ So The Wisdom That We Can Have Is Having The Very Mind Of Christ Within Our Thinking That Our Thought Patterns Can Be Fashioned And Shaped According To God's Wisdom Wisdom Secondly!

[13:24] Righteousness And The Context Is Speaking Of The Lord Jesus Christ The Lord As In Jehovah Yahweh Is Our Righteousness And The Context Is In Reference To Our Lord Jesus Christ Jesus Is Our Righteousness And We Read That 2 Corinthians 5 Verse 21 For He Hath Made Him To Be Sin For Us That We Might Be Made The Righteousness Of God In Him There Is Nothing That We Have That He Has Not Given Us Our Very Righteousness Comes From Him Alone Wisdom Righteousness Thirdly Sanctification Our Sanctification Is Through Him Our Sanctification It's Our Holiness It's Through Him And All Thanks Unto Him The Lord Jesus Prays Sanctify Them Through Thy Truth Thy Word Is Truth Sanctify Them In Other Words Make Them Holy Through Thy Truth Thy Word Is Truth The Lord

[14:24] Jesus He Is Who Sanctifies Us And The Glory Is All Due Unto Him Even If You're Living A Holy Life It's Only Thanks To Him Even If You're Living Holy Even If You're Sanctified You Can't Lay Claim For That It's Him It's Christ In You It's Christ Working In You He's Fitting You For Heaven He's Shaking You By His Virtue And Mercy He Is Our Sanctification He Is Our Holiness Wisdom Righteousness Sanctification The Next One Redemption Our Redemption Is Through Him All Thanks To Him Our Redemption We read In Titus 2 Verse 11 That The Grace Of God That Brings Salvation That Appeared To All Men Teaching Us That Denying Ungodliness And Worldly Lust We Should Live Soberly!

[15:13] Righteously And Godly In This Present World Looking For That Blessed Hope And The Glorious Appearing Of The Great God And Our Saviour Jesus Christ Who Gave Himself For Us That He Might Redeem Us From All Iniquity And Purify Unto Himself A Peculiar People Zealous Of Good Works Our Redemption Is Of Him Our Redemption Is Through Him Our Redemption Is Christ It Is Christ It Says In 1 Corinthians 6 Verse 20 For Ye Vought With A Christ Therefore Glorify God In Your Body And In Your Spirit Which Are God's The Word Redemption Redeeming It's Talking About Our Purchasing Our Being Purchased Our Being Bought As It Were Out Of The Slave Market Of Sin The Lord Jesus Be The Highest Be The Highest Price He Paid That We Can

[16:13] Be Redeemed And We Are Bought With A Price If Something Is Bought The Change Of Ownership Happens When Something Is Bought Something Happens To The Ownership And That's What Happens To You When You Become A Christian You Are Bought With A Price It's A Supreme Purchased Price Beyond All Measure Beyond All Comprehension By His Precious Holy Blood By His Very Person We Have Redemption 1 Peter 2 24 Who His Own Self Bear Our Sins In His Own Body On The Tree That Ye Being Dead Unto Sins Should Live Unto Righteousness By His Stripes Ye Were Healed Redeemed Redeemed We Should Be In All We Should Be Awestruck Awestruck That He Should Be Our Wisdom Our Righteousness Our Sanctification Our Redemption Of Him And Through Him And To Him

[17:13] We Seen Of Him Creation The New Creation Our Very Salvation We Seen Through Him The Christian Life And How To Live It It's Through Him He Is Redemption Sanctification Wisdom Righteousness The Whole Kip And Caboodle Is Christ It's Christ It's Christ He Is The One That Makes It The Christian Life It's Through Him That We Have The Victory That Overcomes The World By Faith And Thirdly We Sing To Him Thirdly To Him To Whom Be Glory Forever Amen To Whom Be Glory Who Gets The Credit Who Gets The Glory All Glory Is Due!

[17:57] Unto Him All Praise Is Due! Unto Him Friends As a Christian It's Unto Him It's Unto Him That You Can Give Thanks Unto Him That You Can Give Praise Unto Him That You Can Rejoice In Him That You Can Worship It's Due Unto Him Due Unto Him For What He Has Done Our Minds Can't Conceive It Hasn't Entered Into The Heart Of Man The Mind The Thinking Of Man The Things That God Has Prepared For Them That Love Him In Colossians 1 18 It Says He Is The Head Of The Body The Church Who Is The Beginning The Firstborn From The Dead That In All Things He Might Have The Preeminence To Him All Glory To Him All Praise To Him Our Rejoicing Not In Any Of Our Own!

[18:49] Works Our Praise Is Entirely Due Unto Him Our Worship Revelation Chapter 5 We See Various Creatures Giving Praise Revelation 5 We See The Angels Round About The Throne And The Beasts And The Elders And The Number Of Them Was Ten Thousand Times Ten Thousand And Thousands Of Thousands Revelation 5 Verse 12 What Were They Saying They Were Saying We The Loud Voice Worthy Is The Lamb That Was Slain To Receive Power And Riches And Wisdom Strength And Honor And Glory And Blessing Unto Him And Verse 13 And Every Creature Which Is In Heaven And On The Earth And Under The Earth And Such As Are In The Sea And All That Are In Them Heard I Saying Blessing And Honor And Glory And Power Be Unto Him Be

[19:50] Unto Him That Sitteth Upon The Throne And Unto The Lamb Forever Amen And The Four And Twenty Elders Fell Down And Worshipped Him That Liveth Forever And Ever Unto Him Unto Him Unto Him Be Glory Unto Him Be Blessing And Honor And Glory And Power Unto Him The Worthy One The Lamb To Receive Power And Riches And Wisdom And Strength And Honor And Glory And Blessing The Worship He Is Due Brother Sister If You're Believer Tonight Unto Him Give All The Praise Let's Not Acknowledge It In Any Part Of Our Own Doing It's Entirely By His Tender Mercies And I Think Sometimes We Can Miss This We Can Miss It The Unto Him The Acknowledgement Of What He Has Done In His Precious Blood

[21:01] Him Bleed And They Were Our Hands That Nailed Him It Was Our Sin That Held Him There It Was Our Shame It Was Our Penalty That He Paid And Friends We Must Give Him Glory We Must Acknowledge Him The Acknowledgement Is Now And Again Stop As Often As We Can Just To Thank Him Just To Spare A Thought Of Thankfulness Just To Honour Him Just To Esteem Him Unto Him Revelation 7 There's Some More Praise Revelation 7 From Verse 9 And These Are They That Have Come Out Of Great Tribulation Yes Revelation 7 These
