[0:00] Music Jeremiah 51 verse 7 And this sermon might make you mad this morning.

[0:41] This sermon may not be politically correct. It might offend some people. My sermon title this morning is The Nations Are Mad.

[0:55] The nations are mad. A world gone mad. It's prophesied. A moral meltdown on a global scale is what we're seeing today.

[1:09] 2 Timothy 3 is that familiar one. This know also that in the last days perilous times shall come. Perilous times shall come.

[1:21] This is a perilous time. These are sick days. And judgment is looming. Where are our nation's churches and preachers?

[1:34] Many just go along, go with the flow. With the apostasy not speaking out against evil. Psalm 94 verse 16 it says Who will rise up for me against the evil doers?

[1:47] Or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity? The nations are mad. What of Australia today? Our nation.

[1:59] Australia has become an evil, morally toxic, sick society. It's not the nation that it once was. Just as Great Britain's.

[2:10] You couldn't call it great any longer I don't think. That's right. And I'm talking as a Great Britisher. A proud, pleasure-seeking, worldly, godless, thankless nation.

[2:23] Australia today. No morals, no shame, no responsibility. Welcome to Australia. Immorality abounds here. Our film stars take God's name in vain.

[2:35] Our children at school are taught that they are just animals evolved from slime. And the stage is rapidly being set for judgment. Judgment.

[2:47] For the return of the rightful king. As it just has its throes of its last and final acts of rebellion.

[2:57] Judgment is imminent. Judgment is coming. But the wicked don't care. They still eat, drink, marry, party. Just like they did in Noah's day before the flood.

[3:08] He was preaching righteousness through Christ to come for 120 years. Yet only Noah and his family boarded the ark. It shows how wicked that world had become.

[3:20] Our Lord says of his coming, When the Son of Man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth. Luke 18, verse 8.

[3:31] He will come, it says, as a thief in the night. As a thief in the night. Now just last night, Julie and I were driving along. And we saw a man carrying a big TV screen.

[3:43] And it reminded us of how we were broken into him a long time ago. Just metres away. And so it looked a bit sus, you could say. It was a dark night.

[3:55] And the Lord Jesus will come as a thief in the night. So we rang the faithful police service. And the man I spoke to thought, yeah, that is a bit suspicious.

[4:07] This man walking along with a big plasma screen. The Lord Jesus is coming as a thief in the night. It's going to catch you by surprise. Some of you here today.

[4:18] These are darkening days. Days of night. Times of darkness. What of today? Of this nation. Of our nation. We're witnessing a dramatic shift away from Judeo-Christian moral values.

[4:32] We're seeing our nation adopting an evil agenda. Public wickedness abounds. It's celebrated on our streets. The shedding of the blood of the innocents.

[4:43] Of Proverbs 6.17. It's just routine in the hospitals. A programmed indoctrination is happening in our schools. Poisoning the minds of our children. And we are a boozy nation.

[4:55] A boozy nation. Billy Sunday said, Whiskey and beer are alright in their place. But their place is in hell. A boozy nation.

[5:08] We need to pray for our nation. We need to pray for our government. We need to pray for our leaders. The word says there will be spiritual wickedness in high places. And some misguided leaders today.

[5:22] They call evil good. And good evil. As Isaiah 5 verse 20 says. They will. The wicked are pushing their agenda.

[5:34] That the deviant be normalized. And that the normal be made deviant. Leaders are accountable to God. They will answer for that.

[5:46] The Lord warns of some who will lead to cause you to err. Those who lead you cause you to err. We need to pray for our government. Proverbs 29 says.

[5:58] When the righteous are in authority. The people rejoice. But when the wicked bear a thrill. The people mourn. Pray for our government. Marriage and the family are under threat in these days.

[6:12] The building blocks of society. Feminism has engineered that women no longer reverence their husbands. And divorce has skyrocketed.

[6:23] And many young people aren't getting married anymore. They've given up on the idea. We've seen the destruction of the family unit. The defilement of the God-ordained institution of marriage.

[6:35] We're seeing sodomy celebrated. Something that God defines as abomination. In Leviticus 20 verse 13. We're seeing sex change operations. It's insane.

[6:47] It's insane. The nations are mad. Everything is being undermined in our days. We're seeing the media. The comedians today are scoffers.

[6:58] They blaspheme Christ and mock the Bible. Proverbs 14.9. Fools make a mock at sin. That's what God says they are. The popular comedians with their foul mouths.

[7:11] Our world view is changing because it's happening subtly and slowly. We're being shaped by a skillful propaganda machine. A mass brainwashing is happening on a broad scale.

[7:24] And the corporate-owned media is flooding deceptive messages through the airways. Manipulating society today. The nations are mad. The nations are mad.

[7:36] Hollywood's godless shows are perverting our nation. Bringing that message of lust, of rock and roll, of fornication, of gutter talk, of witchcraft ultimately.

[7:50] And we're just lapping it up. Aussies are just lapping it up. In our schools, we're turning out educated fools. Our universities.

[8:03] Our children's values are being corrupted with the lies of evolution, of humanism. Our young people are encouraged to fornicate and live in sin against God.

[8:15] Here's what one of the founders of the public school system said. This is Brock Chisholm, is his name. To achieve world government, it is necessary to remove from the minds of men their individualism, loyalty to family tradition, national patriotism and religious dogmas.

[8:32] To achieve world government. The communist dictator, Joseph Stalin, said, 1934, Education is a weapon whose effect depends on who's holding it in his hands and at whom it is aimed.

[8:48] The education system is in a mess today. It doesn't matter how much money they throw at it. Discipline has gone out of the home and out of the school. And they're replacing it with mind-altering drugs.

[9:00] Mind-numbing drugs. You know, it's shocking, the statistics. You see, American statistics are shocking, I'm sure. Australia's following suit. Mind-numbing drugs.

[9:11] And, you know, no wonder we're in such a mess today in Australia. And the world is drawing our youth. It's drawing them with this magnetic power to follow and serve Satan.

[9:24] To take pride in their sin and impurity. To be careless about dating and courtship. And to become God-haters. Our youth are in great peril.

[9:36] The nations are man. Talking about our nation. Our nation of Australia. God help us. Our nation is rotten to the core. Australia continues its slide into immorality.

[9:47] And ultimately into hell. As it says in Psalm 9, verse 17. The wicked shall be turned into hell. And of all the nations that forget God. In Psalm 11, verse 3 it says, If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

[10:04] What will God's people do? What must we do in these days? Where is the church? The church. Where ought we to be? We ought to be fearing the Lord.

[10:17] We are to fear the Lord. We are to love the truth. 2 Thessalonians 2, verse 10. The Lord Jesus, He is the truth. His word is the truth. And truth matters today.

[10:30] What are the righteous to do? We're told to hate sin. Hate it. Psalm 97, verse 10. It says, Ye that love the Lord hate evil. God instructs us to hate the evil.

[10:42] We're commanded to reprove the works of darkness. To say sin is sin. Ephesians 5, verse 11. It says, And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

[10:56] We're not talking about attacking people, but attacking sin. Sin. Sin. Evil triumphs when good men do nothing, someone has said. That's right. In Isaiah 58, it says, Cry aloud.

[11:08] Spare not. Lift up thy voice like a trumpet and show my people their sins. Their transgression. Bible believers need to wake up and see what is happening in Australia today.

[11:21] It's incremental change too. Little by little by little. Song of Solomon 2, verse 15. It says, The little foxes spoil the vines.

[11:32] Little by little. We need to watch out because it subtly creeps up on us. What can the righteous do? As a nation, as a people, as God's people, as God's representatives on earth, we as a people must repent towards God.

[11:51] It's time for godly parents to rise up and teach their children godliness in conduct, in dress, in life. History is being repeated today in this present time.

[12:05] We're in the 21st century, but we're just like ancient Rome. Ancient Rome. Historians have documented the fall of Rome. It was a decline from a declining emphasis on morality as Rome's society gradually just crumbled and is no more.

[12:25] Observers of concept that we're seeing today, the re-emergence of a pagan mentality. Pagan mentality. It believes there's no fixed truth. There's no absolutes.

[12:36] There's no final good. There's no ultimate meaning. No purpose. There's no living God. It champions mysticism, occult forces and powers, communion with nature, and exotic religions.

[12:50] The latest Hollywood flicks, they've got that message, weaved in there. In all of these sci-fi, you know, these spooky, or even the Disney films, it's in there.

[13:04] It's intrinsic. It's embedded. Communion with nature, and exotic religions. Someone has commented about Rome's decline.

[13:16] Every one of the symptoms of decline, lawlessness, degenerate art and music, overspending, corruption, decline in religion, education, traditional values, materialism, abortion, murder, focus on self-immorality, divorce, and sexual perversion, that was in Rome's day, are present in this nation today.

[13:40] They're talking about America in that quote, but I could see it as true of our nation today. That's right. Our churches have become worldly, and the world, churchy.

[13:50] That's right. And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. 1 John 5, 19. Friends, we're engaged in a battle. A battle is raging today, and we are in a battle for the truth.

[14:05] For the truth. We are in a battle today. Men are being deceived every which way, believing a lie, not wanting to face up to the truth, despising the light, clinging to their sin and ungodliness, lest God should change them.

[14:23] They're fighting against the truth, and wanting to silence the truth speakers. The wicked want to do what is right in their own eyes. They want to redefine the truth, redefine it to suit them.

[14:37] As if truth is relative, it can be changed as however women fancy to. There are no absolutes to these people. No standards. They believe a lying spirit.

[14:48] Friends, it's delusion. It's delusion. What is the definition of delusion? Delusion means an error which when viewed from certain standpoints of observation has the appearance of truth.

[15:02] Delusion. Delusion. The nations are mad. Deluded. When a man is deluded, he thinks he is right. He claims to be honest in his convictions, and he is so.

[15:15] He honestly believes he is right. And the world today is full of people with delusions. Full of deluded people who think they are right.

[15:27] They think they have truth, but they have a lie. And they're missing out on real hope. In Proverbs 16, 25, it says, There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

[15:43] We need to hold strong and not hold back from speaking the truth. The knowledge of God is truth. In the church scene today too, truth is vital.

[15:56] Where there's falsehood, where there's false prophets, they need to be exposed and counteracted. Spiritual forces are at work today, and it's within the church too. There's a great danger for us as well-meaning people to just swallow anything that people say.

[16:14] There's a danger of counterfeits, of demonic delusions, of doctrines of devils. And we need the truth. 2 Timothy 3, it says, But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

[16:29] They believe, honestly believe, they're telling us the truth. They're deceiving and being deceived themselves. Well-meaning, honest, genuine people, nice people, deceived and being deceived.

[16:44] Spurgeon said this, The devil has seldom done a cleverer thing than hinting to the church that part of their mission is to provide entertainment for the people.

[16:56] With a view to winning them, providing amusement for the people, is nowhere spoken of in the scriptures as a function of the church. The need is biblical doctrine, so understood and felt that it sets men on fire.

[17:12] It doesn't tell us to entertain or amuse people in here. It tells us to preach the truth. Paul repeatedly urged Christians not to be ignorant. There's many occasions where he says, Don't be ignorant.

[17:26] He says in 1 Thessalonians 4, verse 13, I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren. The nations are mad. The nations are mad. One preacher put it like this, I'll quote this preacher.

[17:38] He said, While recently pondering why so many people today are insensitive, greedy, insulting, rude, liars, unappreciative, self-righteous, hateful, slanderous, high-minded, cold-hearted, deceitful, self-censored, and cruel, I realise that we're living in a mentally ill society.

[18:00] Where people have gone crazy, murdering their own children, throwing away their own marriages, lewd women, legalised same-sex marriage adoption rights for homosexuals, people swarming to see the latest movie about chainsaw massacres.

[18:19] Where does it end? The world is a large, insane asylum. People behave the way they do because they're mentally ill, being part of the loony and insane culture of death, fornication, and love for sin.

[18:35] Now these are strong words from this man. He goes on, Someone needs to take a stand for God. The feminists take a stand for rebellion. The homosexuals take a stand for perversion.

[18:46] The witches take a stand for idolatry. Bless God, I'm going to take a stand for Jesus. That's what we need, brothers and sisters, in the days when the world has gone mad.

[18:59] Perilous times. Psalm 94, 16, it says, Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? Or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?

[19:12] We need to stand up and be counted in these darkening days. Faith will make a stand. Faith will make a stand. In genuine faith, something happens.

[19:26] When genuine faith happens, something happens on the inside of you. God makes it happen, but you respond. God prompts faith.

[19:38] By faith, Noah built the ark. He did something. By faith, David went out to fight Goliath. He did something. Right through Hebrews 11, faith is active.

[19:49] It's a verb. Judges 21, we read of a time where in those days, there was no king in Israel. Verse 25 of Judges 21.

[20:00] And it says, Every man did that which was right in his own eyes. Doesn't that sound like today? Doesn't that sound like Aussies today?

[20:10] The Bible says that every man did that which was right in his own eyes. So it's interesting, I noticed here, they chose to do right. Interesting, isn't it?

[20:22] They chose to do right. But they chose for themselves what they thought was right. There's a whole lot of talk today about rights.

[20:33] Isn't that? Rights. Sincere people believe. I want to do right, but I will decide what's right.

[20:49] Not God. That's what they say. I will decide what's right. Every man of, sorry, Proverbs 21, it says, Every way of a man is right in his own eyes.

[21:01] But the Lord pondereth the hearts. I'll go on with some quoting here. I couldn't put it better myself, I feel. The gay community has decided that homosexuality is right.

[21:14] Feminists have decided that rebellion is right. Drunkards have decided that booze is right. Communists have decided that tyranny is right. Only God has a right to decide what's good and evil.

[21:28] God says that homosexuality, feminism, drunkenness and communism are evil. Catholics have decided that it is right to chant Hail Mary and bow down to statues.

[21:41] The Vatican has decided that it's right to confess your sins to some wicked priest. God says that the Catholic religion is straight out of the pits of hell.

[21:52] There are sincere people who have said, I will do what is right, but I will decide what is right. You've got your truth, I've got mine.

[22:04] But God decides. God decides what is right and wrong. God decides what is good and evil. The Bible determines what is true and right. Friends, in the church today we're seeing it evident soon.

[22:18] The popular church, they pretend to adhere to the truth while quietly undermining it. It's a great danger. We need to be alert to this. We need to be alert to it. Not blaming other churches.

[22:29] We in this church need to be alert to danger, to deception, to thinking we're doing something right when it's not right. The 21st century church.

[22:42] Experience and emotion are substituted for the word of God. as a basis of faith.

[23:16] When religious experiences are contrary to the word of God. When various signs and wonders so-called are the criterion of our faith, we're opening the floodgates to all manner of delusion.

[23:29] We need biblical convictions. Biblical convictions and not fall for deception. When we have a love for the truth, when our mental storehouse is filled with God's word, we will know the truth.

[23:44] We'll be able to discern right from wrong and discern error. Friends, today, the church worldwide and even in our own circles, we're not immune to it.

[23:56] The church worldwide is increasingly liberal, apostate and lukewarm. We are lukewarm. We are lukewarm in this church.

[24:08] The church is increasingly slack. Let's face it. Mysticism, spiritual fornication, Christian entertainment, weak syrupy preaching, prayerlessness and worldliness has become the norm for comfort-loving Christians.

[24:25] And too many pulpits do not address the matters that we need to be addressing. We cease to be the conscience of our nation. Jeremiah 51, what does it say?

[24:36] Babylon have been a golden cup in the Lord's hand that made all the earth drunken. The nations have drunken of their wine. Therefore, the nations are mad.

[24:47] The nations are mad. Something is wrong with this generation. All the world has become drunken with their wine. We see the prevalence of it today.

[25:00] Drunkenness for one thing. I mean, Aussie culture. It's like routine, isn't it? Let's go and have a drink, they say.

[25:12] All the world has become drunken with their wine. Drunkenness is prevalent. It's so prevalent. Whatever your conviction, I mean, drunkenness is sin.

[25:23] That's plain. That is plain. The decay of culture and modesty today. The moral slide into humanism. The breakdown of the traditional family unit.

[25:36] Effeminate men. Effeminate men. God, help us. Effeminate men. Masculine women.

[25:48] The nations are mad. Mad. Mad. God, I'll go on and quote this man. I'm getting a bit mad this morning. I want you to get mad too.

[25:59] Amen. Doesn't it make you feel mad? To see what the devil is doing to our nation, to this world. Let me quote further. Everything is backwards. Everything is upside down.

[26:12] Doctors destroy health. Lawyers destroy justice. Universities destroy knowledge. Governments destroy freedom.

[26:24] The major media destroy information. Religions destroy spirituality. And Bible publishers destroy God's word. They're rewriting it to suit themselves.

[26:39] Australia has forsaken God. Friends, today we're increasingly profane. we've lost the fear of God. And we don't care about offending the holy God. It's like a spiritual vacuum that we're in.

[26:52] Our culture is ever more sick and degenerate. I'm going to get to some good news in a minute. We're in trouble today. Amen. As a nation we're in trouble. Isn't that true?

[27:02] Because of a neglect of the holy scriptures. And because of the slackness that is endemic in the western world. If we're in other nations they wouldn't care about walking kilometres to get to the church service.

[27:20] Day, night, midweek. We're slack people. Slack. Australian has forsaken God. And Christians today, isn't this the time we should rise up?

[27:34] Isn't it the time we've neglected the scriptures? And we're facing God's wrath as a nation. We're in trouble today. And the answer is a return to the faithful word.

[27:45] It says, 1 Peter 1, being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever. For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass.

[28:00] The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away, but the word of the Lord endureth forever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

[28:11] We need a return to the scriptures, a return to the faith of the Bible, the purity of the Bible, the authority of the Bible, the total preservation of the Bible.

[28:22] This Bible has been protected, preserved, and provided for us. The word of God, inspired, inerrant, infallible, our final authority in matters of faith and practice.

[28:34] The word of God we need, brothers and sisters, to strengthen our church, to give us that power and purity, that testimony to be a God-honoring church. Because what does Satan want to do?

[28:46] He wants to destroy the church. He wants to destroy, as was preached of recent times, the pillar and ground of the truth. It's the church of the living God. The pillar and ground of the truth.

[28:59] We ought to be strong and secure and founded upon truth. Truth, uncompromised. Truth, incorruptible. Truth, unadulterated.

[29:11] Friends, the devil wants to make Christians weak, disconnected and unaccountable. He doesn't want you to be a regular church guy, for one thing. I mean, that's the least we can do, isn't it?

[29:23] He doesn't want you to faithfully fellowship and get connected, get committed, get grounded, get planted in a Bible-believing church. He wants you to just go as you please.

[29:36] We don't want make the mistake of that, people today. Time is short. There's no time for playing the game any longer, of getting cosy with the world or with the ecumenical church.

[29:46] Babylon hath been a golden cup in the Lord's hand that made all the earth drunken. The nations have drunken of her wine, therefore the nations are mad.

[29:58] Babylon speaks to us of a false religious system, an ecumenical kind of let's all join hands kind of religion. Let's just excuse all of our differences and just join as one big happy family.

[30:15] Now this is going to shock you, some of you might want to walk out when I say this, so get ready to get mad. It makes me feel mad to read this. On September the 21st, 1957, Billy Graham stated in an interview with the San Francisco News, is, I'm just quoting the man here, anyone who makes a decision at our meetings is seen later and referred to a local clergyman, Protestant, Catholic or Jewish.

[30:42] What? The nations are mad. What is this guy on about? Billy Graham later said, I quote, I find that my beliefs are essentially the same as those of Orthodox Roman Catholics.

[30:56] the nations are mad. As today's church becomes more worldly, the world is becoming churchy.

[31:07] Let's get religious. Let's just join Babylon. Revelation 17 we see of Antichrist, when he comes, there will be a totalitarian new world order and he will use a false Babylonian religion to deceive the world.

[31:23] As Jeremiah tells us, it will be like a pouring out of wine, as the whole world will become intoxicated with it. As the quote goes, evil times when good men do nothing.

[31:39] Aussies are a stiff necked, proud, hard-hearted people. We're seeing the emasculation of men. They're becoming passive, weak and effeminate. And popular Christianity is guilty of this too.

[31:52] Where are the mature Christians? Christians, the spiritual who will not fall for the morally toxic propaganda. It's a time where we need some men. Some men who will take a stand.

[32:05] Young men, you can become a man. Be a man. Men who will wear the pants. We need a manly spirit. I'm quoting this picture, he put it like this.

[32:20] I say to the man, put your pants on. That's what we need to do, men. Come on, men. I'm calling a man here today. Speaking to the men. Have the manliness to come to church and bring your family.

[32:36] Commit. Don't be slack. To the women. Where are the women who will obey? 1 Timothy 2 verse 9. Women who will dress in modest apparel, with biblical modesty.

[32:50] Watch what you dress, let it be modest. Let it be modest, not an affront, or a stumbling block to men. Modest. We need preaching, preaching of the whole word of God, the whole counsel of God, of personal holiness, of the terror of the Lord to persuade men, of the difference between the holy and the profane.

[33:13] And sometimes the worst sin is what we don't do. It's what we don't do that we should do. Alright? James 4, 17, it says, Therefore, to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

[33:28] What you know you ought to do, and do not, that's sin, brother. It's sin, sister. Let's take him. We need the word. We need to sound the alarm.

[33:40] Our liberty depends on it. Now, there is good news. it's here. The Bible, the very word of God, the greatest authority in and over the church.

[33:55] James 4, verse 4, it says, Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever, therefore, will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

[34:09] I plead with you today to seek after discernment, to seek, to discern, to discern between right and wrong, and not what you think, not what is your own thinking, what is right in your own eyes, but what God says, what God says.

[34:36] Now, sometimes messages like this and churches like ours, people think, oh, legalism, whatever it is, they use those kind of labels and they want to have a go and think, oh, you're just, you're going to extremes here, this is over the top, you're putting people under a yoke of bondage, blah, blah.

[35:03] But really, higher standards are a good thing. Higher standards are a good thing. Businesses in our world, they strive for the higher standard. You know, companies, organisations, they strive to do better, to excel, to be the best.

[35:20] Everyone in the business world knows that we want to have a higher standard. We want to have a higher standard, not to big note ourselves, but because we've got a desire to excel.

[35:33] Higher standards. When higher standards are promoted, it attracts people who are looking for quality. It attracts people who are sick and tired of the churches that lower their standards so that anything goes.

[35:50] It attracts the people who won't be lured away by the worldliness and the entertainment that predominates. It tries to snag people and bait people to go that way.

[36:03] Higher standards develop stronger churches. We need higher standards. Higher standards. Friends, and I'm not talking about putting people under a bondage, but of the liberty that is in Christ.

[36:16] Of the liberty of knowing the Lord that we love. He wants to lift us up. The Lord who says, don't touch the unclean thing. We won't want to mess with the drunkenness of Babylon.

[36:33] We want to redeem the time because the days are evil. To redeem it, to make it useful, to find it, that time, to find that time, and to make that time, to discern the times that we're in.

[36:48] Friends, these are intoxicating times. Times of deceit. Babylon is round the corner. Jeremiah 51, Babylon hath been a golden cup in the Lord's hand that made all the earth drunken, the nations have drunken of her wine.

[37:06] therefore, the nations are man. Verse 6 of Jeremiah 51, it says, flee out of the midst of Babylon and deliver every man his soul.

[37:19] God instructs us, get out of Babylon. Get out of complacency. Get out of compromise. Get out of the doctrinal mish-mash and wishy-washiness and carelessness and slackness.

[37:37] Beware of Babylon and flee from it today. The assault on marriage escalates.

[37:50] This is a publication put out by an organisation that's got Christian leanings. Assault on marriage escalates.

[38:00] Friends, there's an assault, there's a battle and we're in the midst of it. And we know that it's not about necessarily propagating good moral values because if people aren't saved, it's not going to do them any good anyway.

[38:14] It's not about that. We're not on a crusade to Christianise Australia. But at least the church should be Christian, shouldn't it? At least we as God's saints, as God's people, should be setting a standard that is excellent, that's lifting people up out of the miry clay and setting their feet on the rock, Christ Jesus, that we as God's people can sound the alarm, that we can speak up, stand up and stand strong and stand on the word.

[38:45] That's what we need, brothers and sisters. And this is really an encouragement to you. Flee from Babylon. Deliver every man his soul. Let us pray.

[38:57] Heavenly Father, we thank you that your word urges us to faith, to that walk that would be pleasing unto you.

[39:08] Lord, help us, if there's any not saved here today, that they'll know what it is to say, Lord Jesus, forgive me of my sin. Take my sin away. I want you, Lord, to be my saviour.

[39:20] I bow my heart, my will. I surrender all. I come unto you. For we that are saved, help us, Lord, that we might be stirred to greater faithfulness, not out of a bondage, but out of a love, out of a zeal, out of a fervour, out of a fire that you light within us, that we won't want to be settling for second best.

[39:44] We'll want to aspire to excel to that standard of your scriptures. We'll want to love your scriptures, to love the truth, to love the brethren, such that we want to grow as Christians.

[39:55] Lord God, help us to be that people. Help us as a nation, Lord. We pray that somehow we can corporately repent on behalf of our nation and on behalf of the direction it's heading.

[40:08] Lord, we know it's inevitable really that sin will prevail in this nation of godlessness. Lord, help us to be a people of righteousness that will still sound the alarm and sound forth the gospel while we can.

[40:23] Help us, Lord, to be witnesses to those around about that we might see some, yet some still join us in the ark, Christ Jesus, in these days where the flood is imminent.

[40:36] We pray Lord in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. Amen. Jeremiah 51 verse 7 Babylon hath been a golden cup in the Lord's hand that made all the earth drunken, the nations have drunken of her wine, therefore the nations are mad.
