Description

Many will say that we are not to judge, even while they themselves mock the things of God and scorn Biblical values and standards. Somne will say do not judge, while they swallow every falsehood and fad that comes along. Our Lord warns of deception. Our world is ripe for God's judgment. We see deception on a global scale. Biblical truth is under direct attack. Meanwhile children are being programmed with anti-God propaganda and godless so-called wisdom. Modern Christianity is misled and confusion abounds. These are truly the last days. Judgment is at the doors. We have to judge doctrine. Learn to develop Biblical convictions. Exercise needful discernment. Choose godly standards. [0:00] I've got here a picture of a gavel, a judge's gavel, and he says, innocent, hopefully.! Humanity is not posed by supposedly dangerous man-made climate change.

[0:36] The greatest threat to our civilization is a weak and compromised Christianity. That is the greatest threat to humanity, to this world, to this planet.

[0:49] A loss of biblical truth, that's a great threat. A loss of biblical values, of biblical judgment, of biblical discernment. Matthew 7, 24, our Lord says, judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

[1:09] Judge righteous judgment. Many will say we are not to judge. Now they misconstrue Matthew 7, 1. They take that out of context.

[1:19] Judge not. But here our Lord specifically tells us, judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. Righteous judgment.

[1:29] Don't judge. Don't judge. Don't judge me, bro. People say things like that. Well, they stood on the railway line and the locomotive is pelting towards them and they say, you've got to get off the track.

[1:44] And they say, don't judge me, bro. People say, judge not. Meanwhile, they mock the things of God. Often those who say, judge me not, judge not, they mock the Bible.

[1:56] They mock biblical standards and values. Some will say, do not judge me. And so they will swallow every falsehood and fad and fashion of man without any discernment.

[2:13] I know our brother earlier in the prayer time was praying for discernment. It's sadly lacking. And without ever asking what is behind things, people just swallow whatever they get fed.

[2:25] And some will say, do not judge. Christians are meant to be united. United. United.

[2:36] But around what? Oftentimes it seems that it is mother Rome. It calls the shot still as long past. It calls the shot still and nurtures a false kind of unity.

[2:51] It's founded not upon truth, but a unity founded upon error. And sometimes things change only slightly, ever so slightly that we don't notice.

[3:03] I know Pastor Adam shared a story of walking into a blue room and then the next room is just a slightly different shade of blue. And then ultimately becomes that after room after room, it becomes a green room and people don't even realise it.

[3:15] And as it's been said, it sometimes just creeps on us, creeps up on us such a little, imperceptibly, it creeps up on us, change. So slightly that we don't even notice it.

[3:28] You know, what would John Wesley think of his church of today, for example, or others in times past, who at one time had a biblical stand and now it seems pretty much anything goes.

[3:42] As someone has said, how does one boil frogs? One degree at a time. You put the cold blooded frogs into cool water and you slowly turn up the heat and by the time the frogs realise what's happening, it's too late.

[3:59] They cannot move enough to escape. They're already bored enough. And this is exactly what's happening to our culture and the people, our world, little by little.

[4:13] There's these little changes and we're being boiled by degrees. And so there's needful judgement that we're calling for, that God calls us to. Judge righteous judgement.

[4:26] Our Lord warned of deception. Deception. It's one of the hallmarks of the end of the days. In Matthew 24, we see in the context of the disciples asked our Lord, what are the signs?

[4:43] As he sat upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, tell us, when shall these things be?

[4:55] What shall be the sign of thy coming? And of the end of the world. And Jesus answered and said unto them, take heed that no man deceive you, for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ and shall deceive many.

[5:17] I know there was a story I saw lately that there's actually an Aussie born in Adelaide, some country town in Adelaide. He calls himself Christ.

[5:29] He honestly believes that, apparently. Deception. Deception. They're themselves deceived and deceiving others. There's a web of deception being spread into which many are being drawn.

[5:42] A web of deception. And the storm clouds are gathering people. As we see these signs, we're being boiled by degrees. Many are hoodwinked.

[5:55] They cannot see what's happened. If they were to step back in time and see how far we've gone. You know, in some quarters, they say, we're taking our church to another level.

[6:08] To another level. But really, that's where they're taking it. Down another level. Down another level. Down another level. Down another level. many are hoodwinked and they don't see these things and we sometimes can miss it.

[6:23] Our lives get so busy, preoccupied, oftentimes with the pursuit of things to the neglect of God. It's a trap, isn't it?

[6:34] And we can all make that misjudgment. You know, the devil loves to distract people, to busy us with things that do not matter.

[6:47] And to neglect the things that do matter. And to con us into philosophies that draw us away from fellowship with God's people, into worldly pursuits. You know, there's many that it just seems, they're on that treadmill, that rat race, there's people telling me I'm working seven days a week, I can't get to church.

[7:07] There are some occupations that there is necessary Sunday work. But friends, it's not a good... step to take, where we get too busy for the things of God, for fellowship.

[7:22] And behind all of this, there's this dark deception going on. It's the work of the evil one. You know, we see back in time that the enemy's fingerprints were all over the place.

[7:33] We see Babylon back in time. And it's as real now as ever it was. It's just hidden, hidden in the dark world of Freemasonry or whatever it be, but even in more subtle ways.

[7:48] It's endemic, it's intrinsic in the world systems around us. And our Lord says in Isaiah 61 verse 8, I, the Lord, love judgment.

[7:59] God loves judgment. You know, he's prophet, priest, king. Judge. I, the Lord, love judgment. There's necessary rightful judgment, needful judgment.

[8:13] Now, when we see the wickedness that abounds, thank God for police officers. And thank God for legalism. The law system that says some people are guilty as charged and should be consigned to their punishment.

[8:29] I, the Lord, love judgment. All around us we see, if we will but open our eyes and our Bibles, we will see the enemy's evil work is all around us.

[8:41] Hidden, yes, but it's all around us. That's the word occult. It means hidden, doesn't it? That's secret. It's covert. The spirit world, the demonic world is at work even today.

[8:55] As much as we don't see necessarily some things so evidently that it's still embedded in this world we live in. And our world, brothers and sisters, is ripe for God's judgment.

[9:09] Really, a deception is going on and it's a deception on a global scale. We see that in 1 John 1 verse 9. A global deception and we know that we are of God and the whole world lieth in wickedness.

[9:23] The whole world lies in this wickedness, in the evil clutches of the evil one. And we see nations today morally loose and our churches by and large biblically ignorant.

[9:36] Many Christians just don't have a clue what's going on. They've swallowed it. Hook, line and sink are what is popular Christianity. And we see many men and women today that they just routinely curse and swear.

[9:53] It's like it's part of their vocabulary. They've got to punctuate every sentence with the B word or the S word or the C word. You name it. No consideration.

[10:06] Why do people use the word, I'm going to use it bloody. It's a word that degrades the blood of Christ. That's what it is. That's why they use the B word.

[10:17] Because they don't care about the blood of Christ. The most precious thing in humanity. And people just carelessly, loosely, liberally, unthinkingly, unheatingly use these words.

[10:31] Cursing and swearing. It's normalised. It's accepted. We've been conditioned to accept it. It's normal. It's not right.

[10:42] It's wrong. And we've got to make a deliberate intent not to use such words. Make that decision. In some cultures, I know where I come from, in England, it's almost like that's just normal everyday language.

[11:00] There's people around me at work who constantly talk like it. But it's not right, is it? Judge, righteous judgment. And, you know, in our world today, this world that we live in talks about safe sex.

[11:18] But there is no such thing as safe sin. It's not right. The civilisation of Rome fell into ruin when there was a laxness and an obsession with entertainment within its coliseums.

[11:36] You know, bread and circuses. The politicians still use the same tricks today. Bread and circuses. There was a time when the Roman Empire was once dominating the whole wide world.

[11:48] But it was destroyed from within by its decadence and moral decline. And we're seeing the same trend today. Our world is filled with the same lusts, the same emptiness.

[12:01] You know, the Olympics. Who cares? Who cares about such a thing? We've become desensitised as a people, preoccupied with such trivialities, vanities, emptiness.

[12:15] We see the institution of biblical marriage trashed. It's trashed today. It's under direct attack.

[12:27] There could be a time when marriage is not what it ever was before, down through history. Just something polluted, perverted. There's a definite assault going on against biblical truth.

[12:38] When we see evil has been repackaged and rebadged and called something good, and what God calls good, the world attacks and is dead set against with a fury, with a vengeance.

[12:53] And all the while, the spin doctors are churning out their propaganda to corrupt the minds of our children. So the next generation, just boiled by another degree, another degree, another degree.

[13:06] And we'll just be considered fuddy-duddies and obsolete and anachronistic, anachronistic, whatever the word is.

[13:18] Isaiah 5, it says, Woe unto them that call evil good and good evil, that put light for darkness, that put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.

[13:33] You can rebadge it, you can repackage it, you can relabel it, but if it's good, it's good. If it's evil, it's evil. If it's sweet, it's sweet. If it's bitter, it's bitter.

[13:44] But the propaganda merchants of today play these same tricks. Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes and prudent in their own sight. You know, there's a so-called wisdom, worldly wisdom in our day that bags Christianity and trashes that which is truth.

[14:06] And over the airways, the media, in all forms, there's this unrelenting campaign of an attack against the Bible, a promotion of that which is unbiblical, really anti-biblical, and anti-Christian in programming.

[14:23] You know, it's like I've heard it said, TV programs. That's why they call them programs. It's programming. Programming. The movie and the media are filled with these messages day after day.

[14:34] And then we send our children to the universities and the colleges, boiled by another degree, another degree, another degree, as they push their leftist agenda around the tertiary institutions of our day.

[14:50] The truth is under attack. And there's a constant undermining of all that is left of the truth. And these universities are churning them out.

[15:01] The leaders of tomorrow are trained, conditioned, to swallow the lies of unbelief, of atheism, of evolution.

[15:15] If it feels good, do it. There's no God to answer to. Just run riot. Have it your way. And the graduates, those who are the products of this system, they proudly show their worldly godless wisdom.

[15:38] God is not in all their thoughts. And they reason him away to live another vain day, another day in an empty life. And they leave this planet to head off to a Christless eternity.

[15:49] And the Bible talks of such, professing themselves to be wise. They show themselves to be fools. Fools. Educated fools.

[16:02] Woe unto them, it says, that call evil good and good evil. Judge righteous judgment. Judge righteous judgment.

[16:13] On the church scene too, we see such things going on. And this great need that we have in our world, in the church world. Shouldn't we, as the church of God, have everything squared away and straight down the line?

[16:33] Shouldn't we have that, which is a clear crystal trumpet call, a voice of truth in this world? Yet we see, even in the church, a great lack of truth.

[16:47] And a great ignorance of God's looming judgment. And a carelessness that abounds. In 1 Peter 4, 17, it says, for the time has come that judgment must begin at the house of God.

[17:02] Modern Christianity is missing the mark. And godly principles are under attack today. Friends, I'm telling you the truth. I'm telling you the truth.

[17:13] There's a mind control going on to lead people away from the truth. It's deliberate. It's intentional. Away from the truth into vain unbelief or misbelief, man's reasonings and empty philosophies.

[17:28] And so we have, brothers and sisters, we have much need of divine truth, of God's wisdom and knowledge to combat these falsehoods. And yet we know the Bible and its message are constantly under attack.

[17:41] We see the scriptures twisted and largely ignored and forsaken by many. There's a biblical illiteracy, a biblical ignorance that prevails. And the preachers of our times are like dogs that don't bark.

[17:54] The Bible tells the prophets like that. Yeah, we've got a dog like that. He's blind, he's deaf, and he's virtually dumb. And the Bible speaks about preachers that have lost their bark.

[18:11] They don't warn the people. And these preachers have muzzled themselves such that they will not speak up lest they rock the boat. We might lose somebody.

[18:21] We might dare to challenge somebody and then they're going to get offended. Don't judge, they say.

[18:33] Let's all just get together. Let's all just get together. Pope Francis is a man who embodies this kind of thinking. Pope Francis, really, I've said this before, we shouldn't call him Pope, which means father, because the Bible says call no man father.

[18:49] Not one man father. Yet, some churches routinely call the man who preaches or leads them a father. This Pope denies the biblical creation account.

[19:03] He denies the very foundation of the word. And this Pope sees Muslims as his brothers and sisters and prays to the same God they pray to. It's not the God of the Bible.

[19:16] And I read an article that was titled A One World Religion Under the Papacy. Now here's this man we're talking about. Doing the devil's horn salute.

[19:28] That's what it means. It's the devil's horns. That's what it means. That's what he stands for. And some while back, 14, this article reads, some while back, 14 world religions and over 1,000 religious leaders participated in the first annual commemoration World Alliance of Religions Peace Summit.

[19:50] And a signing ceremony was there for the ultimate forging of the one world religion. They signed this unity of agreement, a promise of religions to unite unconditionally and without discrimination to achieve world peace.

[20:03] Religious leaders who attended the ceremony included those from the Shia Islam faith, those of evangelical faith, supposedly, Catholicism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Anglican, Sheik, Judaism and many others.

[20:19] Their goal was one world religion under the papacy. Now, these are things that are going on this end quote. These are things that are going on today.

[20:31] The Bible tells us of deceitful workers. It tells us of the need to bring correction, to exhort, to challenge, what is the church meant to be?

[20:43] The pillar and the ground of the truth. The foundation stone, the pillar, the column, that which stands for the truth and is stood upon the truth.

[20:56] That is what the church is meant to be. We're meant to uphold righteousness, judge, righteous judgment. We're meant to uphold the truth. The Psalm 97, verse 10, it says, ye that love the Lord hate evil.

[21:15] Don't join hands with them and jump on their bandwagon. Now, the Hillsong crowd, Darlene Check, she's played for the Pope as he's prepared to celebrate the mass, the monstrosity of the mass, the vile, corrupt, wicked mass.

[21:37] The Hillsong danced around and jazzed around and celebrated along with the Pope. The Bible says, ye that love the Lord hate evil.

[21:48] We should hate such things. Amos 5.15, it says, hate the evil and love the good and establish judgment in the gate. Friends, we're meant to stand for something.

[22:00] We're meant to stand for some things and against some things. Now, people don't like this, you know. They say, oh, you know, tell us about this and that, but don't pick on anybody.

[22:11] You know, don't go on about the Pentecostals or the Charismatics or the Ecumenical movement. Some will say, don't judge. But we must, we must judge.

[22:22] Judge righteous judgment. Exercise spiritual discernment. Our Lord urges us to this. We must. I would be failing you if I was to neglect to.

[22:33] And friends, this tendency for tolerance of error rather than speaking up for the truth is a, it's a despicable failure, a treason.

[22:45] The ecumenical movement today is a Trojan horse. You know, this legend of the horse that came in that looked like it was a gift and was such a great thing, but really it was a covert attack as it enclosed the attackers of the city.

[23:04] And the ecumenical movement today offers a unity and a togetherness, but it's really a danger and a blight. That is the enemy's deceitful plan, his deceptive plan, to dilute and replace truth with lies, to boil by degrees, by degrees.

[23:24] Now, the ecumenical movement of today is much further advanced than the ecumenical movement of yesteryear. And the delusion, the confusion, it abounds and it increases.

[23:36] The deception is everywhere. And there's preachers in many pulpits that are just masters of brainwashing. we must judge things, judge such things.

[23:48] Our Lord withstood the false teachers of his day. What did our Lord call them? Hypocrites, blind guides, whited sepulchres, serpents, ye generation of vipers, strong words, strong words from our Lord.

[24:03] He was strong, strongly for the truth and strongly against the error. And friends, people of God today, time is running out. We are living in the last days, truly.

[24:14] And there is much that is counterfeit, that is substitute, that is in place of the real, such that we almost can't tell the difference anymore.

[24:25] The real has been so corrupted that it's so lacking. It's sad. So what are we to do, people of God? It tells us here in 1 John 4, beloved, believe not every spirit.

[24:42] But try the spirits, test them, try the spirits, test them, check them out, check out what they're up to, whether they are of God.

[24:53] Why? Because many false prophets have gone out into the world. Believe not every spirit. There's a lot of spiritual things going on. Oprah Winfrey's apparently made some big long list of the hundred spiritual mentors that she's got in her life.

[25:11] And you can count on it that you can't trust any one of them. You know, believe not every spirit. These are spiritual people, pastor. These are spiritual guides. Oprah Winfrey loves them.

[25:24] Yeah. So you should wake up and realise what's going on. Believe not every spirit. You know, there's a few Christian people on her list. Check it out on the internet.

[25:35] One hundred people, spiritual guides of Oprah Winfrey. Don't count on any of them. People of God. You know, the Holy Spirit must be grieved at what is done in his name today.

[25:47] In his name. Truly, there is strong delusion. We see ravenous wolves, widespread heresies, and they're as real now as ever they were. As much a threat today as they ever were.

[26:00] And the church has gone soft, soft, soft on soul winning, soft on preaching, soft on sin. And churches by and large are shallow and worldly.

[26:12] The average Christian is just as worldly as the neighbour. Friends, we ought not to be so. We need the word of God.

[26:24] We need to be strongly planted, to be that pillar and ground that our truth, that truth is our foundation. It's our stand, judge, righteous judgment.

[26:42] There's such a lack of foundational biblical teaching and biblical character. We should be building that in ourselves. Parents, mums, dads, build it in your children.

[26:57] Brothers, sisters, build it in one another. Biblical truth. Sound Christian teaching. We see in Jeremiah 5, the prophet tells of a wonderful and horrible thing.

[27:12] He means wonderful in the sense of it's full of wonder. He just wonders what on earth is going on. I'm wonderful, I'm full of wonder. I wonder what's going to happen next.

[27:24] Full of wonder. How could people be so stupid? A wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land. The prophets prophesy falsely and the priests bear rule by their means.

[27:41] And my people love to have it so. And what will you do in the end thereof? A wonderful, a horrible thing, prophets prophesying falsely, leaders bearing rule falsely, and my people love to have it so.

[28:01] They flock to these men and women preachers of today. It is truly wonderful in the sense that you wonder how on earth can people be so gullible to be drawn into this web where we see these preachers, what do they yarn on about?

[28:24] Fanciful trips to heaven. And supposed latter-day extra-biblical revelations and teachings. They rarely resort to the word of God.

[28:37] It's all about their fables and stories. And meanwhile the vast bulk of Christians are ignorant and they just swallow it, hook, line and sink it.

[28:50] We've lost the ability to discern, to discern. And the church is by and large led by these false men and women. They are false prophets. What is the answer?

[29:02] People of God. Paul's prayer for the people of his time as he ministered was that Christ would be formed in them, that Christ would be formed in them. That is our antidote, that Christ will be formed in us.

[29:15] We are close to judgment and we need Christ in us, the hope of glory. We need to be rock-solid, identified with Christ and his truth. Judgment is close, it's even at the doors and it's high time to wake up.

[29:29] Yet even in this increasing darkness of our time, we have a sure and certain hope. This is just another sign, isn't it? It's just another sign that our Lord is coming soon.

[29:41] And it's just another sign of that certain hope that we have for the future and peace beyond this world. John 16, 33, our Lord says, these things have I spoken unto you that in me you might have peace.

[29:56] In the world you shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer. I have overcome the world. He says, take heart in this, I have overcome the world.

[30:07] God's unfailing grace keeps us. We know it's just a little while until we see his face, just a little more till we see him, just a little more time till we're in glory.

[30:19] glory. And his unfailing grace is our portion, isn't it? The word tells us of the song of the redeemed. We're going to sing that together around his throne.

[30:31] God's going to help you with those off-key voices and those, I should be talking about me, God's going to help us get in tune.

[30:42] And we'll be singing gloriously the song of the redeemed. And we've got a love of the truth that is beyond compare. We have the highest authority, the final authority.

[30:54] Now I'm being legalistic now. Australia's got a constitution in black and white, how it's to govern. And this is our constitution.

[31:05] This is our final authority. This is the A to Z of what we need to know. And people of God, we've got it by God's hand, his final authority, the highest authority.

[31:20] In 1 Thessalonians 2.13, Paul says, for this cause also we thank God without ceasing, because when you received the word of God, which he heard of us, you received it not as the word of man, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectively worketh also in you that believe.

[31:43] The words of the Lord are pure words. Psalm 12 verse 6. Get some pure stuff from God. Rather than tune into some of these popular preachers that will tickle your ears and tell you fanciful stories, get the author's words straight from him.

[32:07] Pure words. And we need to believe the Bible. It's the infallible word of God. There's not a lie in this book. There's no error. There's no mistruth.

[32:21] No error of any kind from cover to cover. And so we are called to diligently study this book. Take it and read it. Don't neglect it.

[32:32] It will help us to counteract the error, to judge righteous judgment. And it says, John 8.32, our Lord says, and you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.

[32:44] This is our help. This is our guide for life. This is our antidote for error. You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free. There's a liberating truth here that will set us free.

[32:59] And we have to speak the truth. In John 16.13, our Lord says, howbeit when here the spirit of truth has come, he shall guide you into all truth. For he shall not speak of himself, but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak.

[33:14] And he will show you things to come. The spirit of truth. How the spirit of truth must be grieved with what is done in his name today.

[33:27] When some churches call these crazy antics the work of the Holy Spirit, how God the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit, must be grieved. He is the spirit of truth.

[33:39] And so, in 2 Timothy 4, we're told of a time that will come when they shall not endure sound doctrine. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. I don't want to hear it.

[33:51] But after their own lusts, they shall heap to themselves itching ears. Sorry. But after their own lusts, they shall heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears.

[34:05] And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. You tell people, some Christians this kind of stuff, and they say, oh, you're being judgmental.

[34:16] You're one of those legalistic churches. Legalistic. Legalistic. You actually believe the law of the Lord is perfect. You believe this book from cover to cover, you're legalistic.

[34:29] Yes, I am. I am. I believe the words of the Lord are pure words. And I believe he says what he means, and he means what he says. And we're meant to believe it and behave it.

[34:42] Not turn away our ears from the truth, but to act upon it. Preachers these days have become mere storytellers, and now supposed signs and wonders.

[34:54] You tune into them, and it's all about one of their greatest, latest escapades. How God's told them this, and God's told them that, which has nothing to do with the Bible. There were wonders of such, of a falling away, of supposed miracles and signs that are nothing to do with the Bible, lying wonders.

[35:15] You hear some stories of feathers falling from heaven, gold dust sprinkling over people, all these people thrashing and flailing and rolling and foaming, and they call it God at work.

[35:28] Lying wonders. Matthew 24, it says, for there shall arise, false Christs and false prophets, and they shall show great signs and wonders insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

[35:46] People of God, deception is something we need to be mindful of. In biblical times, they search the scriptures daily in Berea, such as to see if these things were so that they were being taught.

[36:04] Don't let someone spoon feed you without checking what's on the spoon. Check it out. It could be poison. You must watch out for wolves coming in sheep's clothing.

[36:15] You know, people that live up in the country, they know about foxes. You've got to keep an eye out. Someone was telling me lately how they had a dog that was keeping their chook safe and as soon as the dog passed away, in come the foxes and their goners.

[36:39] Wolves. There's wolves today and they're dangerous to the sheep. Dangerous to the sheep. And woe to me if I do not warn you. Woe to me. Such teachers need to be exposed.

[36:51] For who they are, for what they are, and their dangerous teachings. We need to judge them by the word of God. So we need to mark some people. We need to actually say, here's a name that you need to know he or she is marked.

[37:08] That's a name that you need to watch out for and what they say. Joyce Myers, T.D. Jakes, Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland, there's numbers of them.

[37:25] I could give you a big, long list, a book full of them. We need to mark some people today. Avoid them. Avoid them. It says in Romans 16, I beseech you brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned.

[37:43] And avoid them. Avoid them. No, tune in. Tune out. Tune in to this. Get it from God. What is the answer to all this lawlessness? Expose the works of darkness for what they are and make a deliberate break from them.

[37:58] Make a deliberate break from them. 2 Corinthians 6, it says, Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers. Don't yoke your arms. Don't go arm in arm with unbelievers.

[38:10] For what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? What communion hath light with darkness? The opposite. What concord hath Christ with Belial, the devil? And what parteth he that believeth with an infidel, an unbeliever?

[38:24] And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God. As God hath said, I will dwell in them and walk in them and I will be their God and they shall be my people.

[38:38] Wherefore come out from among them and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing and I will receive you and will be a father unto you and you shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

[38:51] Now some people would like to get a big black texture and just delete that scripture. Come out and be separate. Aren't we meant to all get together? Be one big happy family?

[39:04] Judge righteous judgment. Our judgment, our separation is out of love. You don't go and get matey with the wolf in sheep's clothing.

[39:15] He's going to tear you to shreds. He's going to eat you up for breakfast. Our separation is out of love. Love for our Lord and honour of him and his word, of his truth.

[39:27] It's not out of some kind of superiority or some kind of fleshly stand that we're holier than thou. But because we want to honour our Lord, we're not conformed to this world and its culture.

[39:41] We're to judge righteous judgment. To fail to do so is to lose our sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. It says John 16, of the Holy Spirit when he has come he will reprove the world of sin and of righteousness and of judgment.

[40:00] The Holy Spirit will help us to be wise, to wise up to these things, to break the yoke with the world. God. And this new believers here today, sometimes it takes a while to shake some things off you.

[40:19] There's a man of God here today that took a while for God to shake smoking off him, for example. That's just one little thing that might be a hang up for people.

[40:32] It takes a while for some people to shake off some things or shake off the worldly language, the worldly thinking. It takes a while. As a new Christian here today, don't be discouraged.

[40:44] God will help you to shake it off. He'll help you to drop it off. It'll drop off you. And meantime, judge righteous judgment. Discern yourself about what is God telling me from his word.

[41:00] And judge righteous judgment. Have that sensitivity to the Holy Spirit to confront the ugliness of sin. To recognize and renounce that which is wrong.

[41:11] The wickedness of the modern day church. The doctrines of devils. Call them what they are. They're doctrines of devils. Now some people think, oh their teaching's a little bit off here and a little bit off there.

[41:22] Well if it's off, it's not of God. Doctrine needs to be doctrine that we can count on. If there's any deviation of doctrine that's doubtful, that's not in accord with the word of God, if there's any question mark over the doctrine, don't have a bar of it.

[41:39] Because the Bible talks about doctrines of devils. The devil authors these doctrines, these false teachings, have nothing to do with them. Steer clear of it, come out and be separate.

[41:53] Lay hold on God's glory. people of God. People of God, my hope, my prayer, my aim here is to exhort you to a greater walk with God, a closer walk with Him, to choose godly standards, judge righteous judgment and be hard on yourself.

[42:14] This is the one that I've got to be the hardest on, the one that I look in the mirror at and I see all these many faults and lay hold on God's glory.

[42:25] Judge righteous judgment and judge within. Now, sometimes it's easy to make judgment all about, oh, everybody else is wrong. But no, put the spotlight on yourself and choose godly standards for yourself.

[42:40] It doesn't matter what the next guy does. It doesn't matter what your other Christian friends may choose or not choose to do. Don't let them drag you down into carnality.

[42:52] The word tells us don't be deceived, that evil communications corrupt good manners. Hang around Christians that are straight down the line. Hang around Christians that you know are determined to live for God, not those who pretend.

[43:05] Read the word, feast on it, develop a Christian biblical world view. And that's counter-cultural. You're not going to hear that when you tune in to the world.

[43:16] It's counter-cultural to be a Christian. It's radical. It's radically different. We know that we're in the minority. We are in the minority.

[43:29] Like Noah. Think of Noah. You know, the majority does not dictate what is right and wrong. God does. Noah withstood the majority of his day and the ungodly attacks against him.

[43:43] And as someone has put it, the minority later became the totality. when the flood came and the majority drowned.

[43:54] You know, friends, people of God, stand with God. If God before us, who can be against us? Take a public stand for Christ. Be an out and out Christian.

[44:07] It's better that you are such than a weak one. You know, in your Facebook feeds, in the language that you use, in how you conduct yourself, where you work, in how you behave.

[44:21] Be a radical Christian. Don't be afraid. Don't be ashamed. Take a public stand for Christ.

[44:33] And don't back down. Don't hide your light. And be a Christian who's ready to serve. And the Lord will use you.

[44:44] Now, someone was telling me, oh, what can I do in the church? And I gave her a big long list. There's plenty to do. Don't worry about that. Oh, what can I do?

[44:58] Just put your hand up and I'll give you something to do. God will give you something to do. Won't he? There's much to do. Let's develop some biblical convictions about what counts and make some right decisions.

[45:14] Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. Determine to choose wisely in your life.

[45:26] Make wise judgments. Every day we're making decisions about what we're going to do, where we're going to go, what we're going to say, how we're going to behave or not behave. The judgment starts with me and you, with us.

[45:41] And the word prompts us to self-judgment. Let a man examine himself. Examine yourselves, whether you're in the faith. Try, test every spirit. Exercise that needful discernment.

[45:54] People of God, man of God, woman of God here today. God has put his spirit within you. Christ is being formed in you. Take it to the next level in the right direction.

[46:07] Amen? Not down here, but up here. Be more like him. More like him. Exercise needful discernment and have that love for the word such that you'll be a skillful workman, a work woman of the word of God.

[46:21] Let us pray. Our Lord and King, our Master and Saviour, our Judge, we know that at Christ's cross our sin was judged, fully judged, our penalty fully vented and paid, expended, expiated.

[46:43] You hold that not against us, Lord, we're saved. Yet, as your people, we're called to exercise judgment of ourselves. Help us to make wise choices and decisions, to judge wisely, to let go, to get out, to come out, to be separate.

[47:02] Help us to be discerning people that your word will dictate our choices, our life, the steps we take. Help each Christian here today as you've convicted and drawn us to yourself, as you put the finger on things that need, addressing.

[47:17] Help us, Lord, as your spirit of truth guides us further into all truth. Encourage each heart, Lord. We know that it's just a little while and we'll see your face.

[47:28] Help us, Lord, not to be ashamed before you at your coming, but to be a ready people. Help us to be not ashamed of our testimony, but to be a strong Christian.

[47:41] Strengthen us, Lord. Strengthen us by your spirit as we pray, as we read your word, as we fellowship further, Lord. Help us to grow and to be stronger and stronger until we see your face.

[47:56] In Jesus' name. need a
