Righteousness exalteth a nation

[0:00] Proverbs 14. Somewhat along the same theme, of course, it's very topical at the moment, what's going on in our nation and in the world.

[0:11] Some thoughts along that theme. Again, let's pray. Lord, we open your word now. Lord, minister, help me, Lord, to say something useful that you would be glorified.

[0:24] That, Lord, you'd work in every heart. Show us something that we need to know and to act upon, we pray. In Jesus' name, amen. Proverbs 14.34, it says, What a contrast.

[0:45] Righteousness, it lifts up a nation, it makes that nation blessed, but sin is a reproach. It casts that nation down. It's a reproach. It's a shameful thing.

[0:55] It's an ugly, shameful thing. Consider today the state of this nation, the fair nation of Australia, and the state of the state of South Australia, and what a state we are in, brothers and sisters today.

[1:12] What a state we are in. Just down the road from us is a church called Gawler Baptist Church. It's the building where the Gawler Baptist Church met is now a liquor store.

[1:26] It's a liquor store. It's where they sell liquor. Gawler Church, this article is from the Gawler Bunyip. This was a couple of years ago now.

[1:37] You go to Gawler Baptist Church building now, it still says Gawler Baptist Church, but they're selling booze there. So you can go and get plastered at your local Gawler Baptist Church today.

[1:49] The times, they are a-changing, isn't it? The times, they are a-changing. Here's another church building. People might recognise this one, not far from us. You recognise that, Annette?

[2:00] Yeah, it's the former Cornerstone Uniting Church. Cornerstone Uniting Church, down on Peachy Road, Davrin Park. Cornerstone Uniting Church.

[2:13] What is it now? It's now the Association of Islamic Dawah in South Australia. Dawah means the preaching of Islam. So this church building, formerly a Uniting Church, formerly they would have sang songs of faith that have declared the words of the Bible.

[2:33] Hopefully there was some good stuff that went on in that church building. Now they're preaching the words of Islam. Here's one of their preachers in front of a picture of that same building today that features on the internet at the moment.

[2:45] A former church building that was dedicated unto the glory of God has now got a man preaching the words of Islam.

[2:58] God help us. God help us. Here's the former Bible Presbyterian church on McGill Road. I've been to that church years ago as much as I've got differences with Presbyterians.

[3:11] There was a faithful man who sought before God to honestly declare the word of God and they were quite strong and forthright and Bible-centered as much as they were Calvinistic, which we would differ with.

[3:27] But here is the former Bible Presbyterian church on McGill Road. What is it now? Here's a picture of it as it stands at this time. And just a close-up of the sign.

[3:40] Buddha House. Buddha House. Here was a church building, again dedicated to the glory of God, the Bible Presbyterian church. The preacher there ran a faithful Bible bookshop in Adelaide where they sold some very good Christian books.

[3:57] Sadly, this church has wound down such to the state that it has sold off and now it is called Buddha House. Buddha House.

[4:08] I'd imagine in that church building now, they've probably got a Buddha sat on the altar or in the place that was the altar so that people can bow down and worship these idols.

[4:20] Now, it's not just happening in Christian churches. Here's a former synagogue in Adelaide. It's now a gay bar. So we see Adelaide, the city of churches, the city of churches.

[4:33] What have we become? What are we today? Here's the Adelaide College of Ministries. Now, I don't know what this building will become, but after 35 years of training men and women in Adelaide for the ministry, 35 years as a Bible school, a Bible college, as much as there's some iffy things about them, at least I'm sure that they did a lot of good there where they did train men and women in Christian ministry, sadly it has closed its doors.

[5:07] It no longer operates. Adelaide College of Ministries has finished. It's over. Here's another place that I used to hang out now and again, the Evangelical Library of South Australia.

[5:19] The Evangelical Library of South Australia, it was a place where you could go and it had some 15,000 Christian books, DVDs, videos, CDs.

[5:32] You could go there and borrow and read on the whole good Christian material. A good library for Christians in Adelaide, established in 1951.

[5:49] It's closed. It's closed its doors. It no longer operates. The same could be said of the Word Book Store, the Bible Society Shop. Friends, this is happening in many ways.

[6:01] We're seeing these signs where darkness is covering our land, our state, the city of churches, Adelaide, and Australia is ripe for judgment.

[6:14] God's withdrawn His hand. He's withdrawn His blessing. The glory has departed. Australia is ripe for judgment. Now, last week in the news, of course, I'm sick of hearing about it, to be honest.

[6:26] All the media, all the messages, I just want to block my ears. I don't want to know about the so-called same-sex marriage bill.

[6:36] But last week in the news, we know the news is that we have a bill now before our Parliament, our Commonwealth Parliament, introduced by a man called Senator Dean Smith.

[6:47] Senator Dean Smith. Here's the man himself, the Senator Dean Smith. He's called the media or the internet describes him as the first openly gay liberal MP in federal parliament.

[7:04] The first openly gay liberal MP in federal parliament. And Smith, the quote goes on, is also a staunch conservative. He's a conservative, he calls himself.

[7:16] And he is a big fan of the Queen herself. And the quote goes on, and is a devout Christian. End quote. You've got to laugh or cry or scream.

[7:29] What is going on in Adelaide, in Australia? This is a WA, man. But this is Australia. This is a man, a devout Christian, he is called.

[7:41] And then you've got people like this dear woman. I'm not sure you can see that clearly enough, but Penny Wong. Penny Wong is our very own well-known Senator from Adelaide.

[7:53] Penny Wong is a radical, militant voice for a radical kind of pushing of the envelope. And here's where she attends church.

[8:05] Wikipedia describes Penny Wong as a, quote, practicing Christian. End quote. She and her lesbian partner attend Pilgrim Uniting Church in Adelaide.

[8:19] Of course, we know where many theologically liberal and weak churches are going. And what they're saying. Here's one, a friend of mine took this photo of the Scots Church, Adelaide, another Uniting Church.

[8:32] Strangely enough. And this Uniting Church has got the sign here. It says, not all Christians oppose marriage equality. Of course, the message is that many do.

[8:45] And here's another Facebook post. It says, most Christians in America now support homosexuality. Deception.

[8:56] Deception is happening on a national scale, on a global scale. It's disgusting. I know, and I don't want to labour these things, but just to enlighten, as it were, those that aren't aware of some of the things that are going on.

[9:11] And again, I don't want to emphasise such things, but I think it's mindful for us to be alert to what is happening, the erosion of what were formerly godly morals and standards of decency and truth have been eroded.

[9:30] There's a conditioning going on, people today, a conditioning going on. Now, someone has written these words. A picture says a thousand words. Here's a picture of a couple of homosexuals.

[9:43] And it's got a picture here, a mother giving up her child at birth to two homosexuals. A picture says a thousand words.

[9:55] That poor child, that poor child taken away from her, his or her mother and put in the hands, in the arms of two loving, I'm sure, homosexuals.

[10:13] Now, this is not to disparage homosexuals. It is to pity them. To pity them. The Bible says, Ye that love the Lord hate evil.

[10:28] He preserveth the souls of his saints. He delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked. What does it say? Ye that love the Lord hate evil. We should hate some things.

[10:38] There's some things that are detestable. They're objectionable. They're repulsive. They're perverse. They're sick. You know, what is going on? We have such things going on in our nation.

[10:52] We have leaders such as this that are changing the course of our nation. They're changing the philosophy of our nation. The lunatics are in charge of the asylum.

[11:05] That's what it is. The lunatics are in charge of the asylum, of whatever political persuasion they may adopt. And Christians are ignorant such that they don't see anything wrong with it.

[11:22] Ye that love the Lord hate evil. We should develop a hatred for evil. Not the people that are in the clutches of evil, but the evil that is going on, the conditioning that is going on, that we are being subjected to.

[11:39] Here are some radical protesters who gatecrashed a marriage equality rally not long ago. What does it say? It says burn churches, not queers.

[11:51] And the commentary there, it says we've just given the barbarians control. You've given the barbarians the key to the nation. What follows will not be good.

[12:02] In Adelaide right now, people may not be aware of this. Maybe you are. Maybe it's advertised so much that you've almost switched off to it.

[12:14] What's going on in Adelaide right now? Adelaide, the city of churches, we have what's called the feast festival. Who's heard of that? The feast festival.

[12:24] Really, it's a celebration of everything that's LGBTQI, you name it. And here's what is happening right here, right now, again in another, would you believe, uniting church?

[12:41] Another uniting church. It's called a queer Christian worship service. Look, if you don't want to come to our 6 o'clock service tonight, you might want to go there tonight. It's on tonight at 7.30pm.

[12:54] And here's what the feast festival billed this meeting as. They call it an ecumenical and inclusive Christian worship service.

[13:07] It says, come and worship in a beautiful old church with other queer Christians. Come and worship with other queer Christians, it says.

[13:19] Clayton Wesley Uniting Church. I don't know what Wesley would say, but I say that's not a good thing. People of God today. Clayton Wesley Uniting Church.

[13:30] The parade, Norwood, on tonight at 7.30pm. You might want to rock up. Here is a picture of this grand old church. This grand old church. It's proudly displaying a rainbow flag.

[13:44] The Clayton Wesley Uniting Church. You know, there's many churches now that are what they call themselves gay-affirming. Gay-affirming. The feast festival is filled with disgusting and vile content.

[13:58] That's not fit for me to show you. Now, as Australia has voted, we see the state of the nation, don't we? The state of the nation.

[14:08] You know, here's the, you've got to, you know, it goes on and on. The alphabet of all that is now called normal. This is normal, I'm told.

[14:23] Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer, questioning, straight, allies, two-spirited, everyone else. We must be in the everyone else, are we?

[14:35] I don't know. I hope not. Yeah, God forbid. Look, this is what's happening in the world today. It's madness, isn't it?

[14:47] Madness? Madness. I can't believe it. You know, I can't believe how the world has changed in just like a decade.

[14:57] Maybe five years ago, such things would have been unheard of. Now we see the state of the nation. What a state we are in.

[15:08] People of God today. In Canada. In Canada, there's an article from a man called Robin Perel, writing from Vancouver.

[15:23] And here's a quote from the article that he's written here. It says, the gay rights movement is shifting norms in Canada.

[15:33] And with that comes a message to those who won't evolve. Your outdated morals are no longer acceptable. And we will teach your kids the new norm.

[15:46] We will teach your kids the new norm. That's what these LGBT radicals are saying. And the news article goes on to say, in this LGBT blog, Daniel Vareil says, I and a lot of other people want to indoctrinate, recruit, teach and expose children to queer sexuality.

[16:13] And there's nothing wrong with that. That's what he says. He also says, we want educators to teach future generations of children to accept queer sexuality.

[16:26] In fact, our very future depends on it. You know, I was tuning into a radio story along this theme of the same-sex marriage debate.

[16:38] And there was some homosexual man talking to the commentator. And he was saying, well, homosexuality is normal now. It's been normalised. You know, we voted for it.

[16:49] It's normal. It's normalised now. Let's just move on to, you know, the next thing that we can do, as it were. And it's madness.

[16:59] The change agents have taken over our nation. And they won't stop and leave it there. They will move on to more and more such things.

[17:10] Here's an article of a UK teacher. There's a teacher in the United Kingdom. The article talks about how he's been suspended. What did he do wrong?

[17:22] He talked to a class of girls and he says, well done, girls, on how they went with their maths test. And he says, I called a trans boy a girl by mistake.

[17:35] And it may cost me my job as a teacher. You know, apparently he apologised after he had done it. But it wasn't enough for them. You know, suspended for praising a pupil using the wrong gender.

[17:49] There was a girl there who supposedly had transitioned into a boy. And he said, well done, girls.

[18:02] Madness, isn't it? Here's in America. Drag queens are teaching the children. This is in a public library. A drag queen dressed up with this weird costume.

[18:16] Looks like the goat's head, doesn't it? Of Satan. And with no doubt lots of wholesome messages for the young children that he is teaching.

[18:30] A drag queen. And then in the UK, there's a gender neutral push in the clothing lines. In the UK, a retailer has removed the labels, boys and girls.

[18:43] It's not allowed anymore. They don't allow the clothing lines to be called a boy's clothing and girls' clothing. Because it might offend somebody.

[18:55] It's a normalisation of what is normal. In the UK again, London Transport announcers may not use the phrase ladies and gentlemen.

[19:08] Because that's assuming gender. By using the terms madam or sir, they might offend somebody. You can't call ladies, gentlemen, husbands, wives.

[19:21] These words are not allowed anymore. It's going to offend somebody. Here's another article from the Australian. It dated just October the 30th. So it's quite recent.

[19:31] And the article says, masectomies for trans teens. And the article reads, masectomies. You know, removing of breasts.

[19:43] Removing of a girl's breasts. I'm talking frankly and honestly because this is what's going on. We need to know. So, masectomies, it says, will be recommended for the treatment of some transgender adolescents alongside puberty blockers and hormone injections according to new guidelines for managing gender dysphoria in young people.

[20:04] So, gender dysphoria when a young person might be a bit confused about what sex they are. And children, it says, the quote goes on, from preschool age upwards.

[20:15] Preschool age will be supported to explore their gender identity provided with psychological care and help to transition socially to their preferred gender before being referred to an endocrinologist prior to hitting puberty so they can have bits and pieces cut off and ripped out of them and manufactured.

[20:42] This is the health system. Not only in the education system, in the health system. God forbid. God forbid. This is our children, our grandchildren are growing up in a world like this.

[20:55] What does the word of God say? That you may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation. Among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding forth the word of life.

[21:09] What does it say? We should be sons of God. We should be sons of God. We should be sons of God. Men, women, sons, daughters of God in the midst of a crooked, crooked and perverse nation.

[21:24] Among whom you shine as lights in the world. We should be lights. We should be lights in this profound darkness that we live in.

[21:36] And friends, I don't want to leave you feeling miserable with this message. This is a message to enlighten. This is a message to uplift. This is a message that's telling you the truth.

[21:47] I care enough to tell you the truth. The truth. What's next? What's next? They will push the boundaries. They, the ones who pull the strings behind the governments of our day, the puppet masters.

[22:03] They, they will push the boundaries even further. This article says UK elites push for new laws to lower their age of consent to 12 years old.

[22:20] What? This is what they want. This is what they want. What they want. What they will get. One day. This is just the beginning.

[22:31] What we've seen this last week. And then we see the madness continues. Here's a man. A man. Doesn't look like a man, but. This is a man.

[22:43] And he's referring himself to as transracial. Transracial. What does it say? It says transracial man born white says he feels Filipino.

[22:57] Now I know we've got some Filipinos here this morning. And I might feel Filipino, but I'm not Filipino. All right. It's just that I can try really, really hard to be Filipino, but I'm not Filipino.

[23:09] But this man honestly believes he's transracial. That he is Filipino. He wasn't born in the Philippines. He's got nothing to do with the Philippines.

[23:20] But he likes the Philippines. He likes Filipinos. So he says, I'm going to be a Filipino. It doesn't matter where he was born, what race he is. Transracial people believe they are really a different race than the one they were born as.

[23:36] We see other things like white women pretending to be a black woman. You think, what's going on in their head, you know? And vice versa. This radical agenda is going on.

[23:49] It's madness. I want to laugh. I want to cry. I mean, what's going on? A radical agenda. We are being pushed and pushed.

[23:59] And we are at war. We are at war. Well, here's an article that tells about the rights of Australians to speak their beliefs is under threat in Tasmania.

[24:10] You know that little island that's still part of Australia called Tasmania? And here's this Hobart pastor called Campbell Markham. And he said, I don't think it's right that people can be threatened with legal action for expressing what they believe is true.

[24:27] You know, what I'm saying today could be illegal before long. You know, because it goes against what we're being told. It goes against what we're being conditioned.

[24:39] And what we're being brainwashed to believe. The propaganda. There's a constant war on Christians. This is what it says.

[24:49] It says a new war on Christians only just beginning. We're just at the start. We're just at the start. There's a constant attack on Christians to make us conform, conform to the radical agenda of the global forces at work.

[25:06] I put to you. The Bible says we will have such a struggle. It tells us here in Ephesians 6. And the context here is talking about the armour of God.

[25:20] It says, for we, Christians, wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of this darkness, of this world.

[25:32] Against spiritual wickedness in high places. The spiritual wickedness in high places. The federal parliament. The state parliament.

[25:43] Local government maybe. Spiritual wickedness in high places. It's everywhere. It's happening. Yeah, Peter. Yeah. Yeah.

[26:06] Yeah. Yeah. Amen. Yeah.

[26:20] Yeah, sure. Yeah. Amen. Yeah. We've got to counteract, don't we? Yeah.

[26:43] Yeah. We've got to counteract error with truth. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. We've got to counteract darkness with light.

[26:55] Absolutely. There's a wrestling going on and it's spiritual wickedness in high places. Notice that. High places. You know, we've talked about the education system, teachers, the health system, the government, the lawmakers.

[27:09] Here's an article about a call to ban in school evangelism. So this is kids talking to kids about Jesus. This is about Christian kids in a government school that want to ban that, including Christmas cards, as much as Christmas is questionable, as the world celebrates it.

[27:28] But anything to do with Christ, anything with the name Christ in it, anything that's got some savour of Christianity, we see that the education system in Queensland wants to ban and make it illegal for children to tell other children about Jesus.

[27:45] And, of course, the corruption is deep. It boggles my mind that people look up to Hollywood to kind of set some kind of moral standard, as if Hollywood can set some kind of moral standard.

[27:59] Hollywood and its actors, when you see what Hollywood pours out into people's living rooms, and Hollywood and its actors are complicit. They're complicit in the degrading of the world's values.

[28:13] What voice can they speak out with when they're constantly pouring out movies filled with immoral messages? You can't look to them to give you any moral compass or value.

[28:24] What we need to look to is the Word of God. As Peter testified, he says, save yourselves from this untoward generation. This word untoward, it means perverse, crooked.

[28:37] It's bent, it's twisted. And they like to call themselves bent instead of straight. You know, they're bent, they're twisted, they're out of shape, they're corrupted, they're perverse, they're crooked.

[28:49] And Peter's message to this crowd was repent. Turn around, let God straighten you out, and he will. No matter what your state or standing, no matter what your sexual preference or your gender identity, God will sort that out.

[29:03] The main thing is come to him, come to Jesus, come to Jesus. And there's many straight people that need a lot of straightening out too, as it were, because we're all crooked before God.

[29:14] We all need to repent. The problem is that it's alike to back in Israel, every man did that which was right in his own eyes. Why? There was no king. The name of the king.

[29:26] We will not have this man reign over us. We don't want Jesus to reign over us. We don't want Jesus to control. We don't want Jesus to be our Lord. We won't have this man reign over us.

[29:37] We want to do what's right in our own eyes. Oh, it feels so right. Oh, you know, if it feels good, do it. It feels so right.

[29:48] If it feels so right, how can it be wrong? There's a song that goes like that. If it feels so right, how can it be wrong? Oh, follow your heart.

[29:59] No, the Bible says your heart is deceitful and desperately wicked. Who can know it? Don't follow your heart. Follow him. Follow Christ. He will sort out that which needs sorting out.

[30:10] And we see so many things. Bear with me a little longer as I give you a little bit more upsetting stuff to look at. Abortion is in the news lately.

[30:23] You know, White Ribbon Australia is a cause that speaks out against violence to women. And I thought it was a good cause. I was part of White Ribbon myself because I oppose violence against women.

[30:37] But yet, that's turned now. White Ribbon is now supporting abortion. It's speaking in support of abortion. And what's happening, here's a picture here, by the way, of a miracle birth.

[30:53] 21 weeks. Most premature babies still thriving. So, here's a clump of cells, a fetus, as some would reckon it.

[31:07] Just, it's inconvenient. Get rid of it. That's what the world would tell you. And it's a sad fact that 100 candidates in Queensland's upcoming state election, 100 candidates in the state election of Queensland, they've signed a pro-choice pledge to commit to allow abortion to full term.

[31:29] Full term. So, in the last week or so, if you're mothers-to-be, if you change your mind, you can just get rid of it. Just, just, that's what they tell you.

[31:40] Sick, isn't it? Things are getting weirder. Weird and weirder. Here's a man, apparently they're actually going to look at doing this in China, the first human head transplant.

[31:52] Transplant. Now, if you get tired of that body and you want a different one, go and get your head transplanted. That's what they're telling us now. And apparently in China, they might be doing it because such controversial procedures aren't allowed anywhere else.

[32:09] But things are weird and they're getting weirder. Political forces are pushing the envelope. Pushing the envelope. So, men are playing God more than ever before. What is going on?

[32:21] What is going on? Now, let me preface this by saying, I'm not pushing a particular political party here, but let me just show this. Here's what I came across lately.

[32:32] Green is the new red. Green is the new red. Now, I don't know if you're a green voter here today, but bear with me. I'm just telling you the truth. Amongst their policies are the decriminalisation of all prostitution.

[32:47] They want to scrap all drug laws and they support euthanasia. That's just a smattering of some of the things that they push. And it's sad when you see more and more green politicians getting into power because it's not a good move.

[33:05] They are very, very totalitarian. They're very domineering in their views and mostly anti-God, anti-Christian in what they push.

[33:17] These are the people that are going to be governing us and the lawmakers of our land. Meanwhile, we're breeding a generation of wussies and pansies, I put to you.

[33:29] Wussies and pansies. In 1944, 18-year-olds stormed the beach of Normandy into almost certain death. D-Day. They came off the landing barges and into the flack and fire.

[33:45] 18-year-olds. Now, in 2017, you could say 18-year-olds need a safe place. A safe place. Because words hurt their feelings.

[33:57] So, you know, you've got 18-year-old boys that don't offend them, don't say something that might offend them. But there's an effeminisation going on. Men can't be men anymore.

[34:09] Men can't be masculine anymore. Women can't be feminine anymore. You can't call a woman lady. You might offend. Everything is getting turned on its head.

[34:20] And schools are increasingly using this indoctrination. Here's a picture of an educator, transgender kids book, backed for schools.

[34:32] They're trying to bring in these school books that teach children to normalise homosexuality and stuff. And we see trans kids now able to begin altering their bodies at younger ages, as I've said before.

[34:48] Irreversible surgeries are being done to children. Children. Maybe just a bit confused.

[34:59] Mentally, whatever it is. And then we see Ontario passes a law allowing government to seize children from parents who oppose gender transition.

[35:13] That's Ontario in Canada. What is going on? I put to you, it's a deliberate, intentional dumbing down of the masses, an aggressive propaganda campaign against Christians and morals and decency.

[35:27] Here's another little Facebook post I saw lately. Something went terribly wrong. Something went terribly wrong. Here's a recent fashion show.

[35:39] A recent fashion show. You know, men in high heels and skirts. Now, it's nice to see a woman in a skirt. I'd like to see women wear skirts.

[35:52] It's a womanly thing. It's a feminine thing. It's a decent thing. But men in skirts. And this is being pushed on kids. Sodom and Gomorrah for kids.

[36:02] America has become Babylon. It's a drag queen festival here promoting the early sexualisation of children. You know, making boys dress in skirts and girls dress like boys.

[36:14] It's madness. Let me just wrap this up with some closing words of scripture. Darkness. Have no fellowship. No fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness.

[36:24] But rather, reprove them. Speak against them. Say it like it is. It's wrong. It's not normal. It's sick. It's wrong. It's perverse.

[36:35] It's evil. Reprove them. Speak against them. Speak up. And it's a shame to even speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

[36:46] There's a lot more gross things. Gross darkness. I could have talked to you about today. But I thought, no, it's not fitting. It's gross and it's getting grosser. Things.

[36:58] It's a shame to even speak of them. But all things are made manifest by the light. God's light shines in the darkness.

[37:10] Amen. Thank God. He puts the light on. Bang. Wow. He puts the light on in our head. We start to actually, yeah, that's reasonable for me to be a Christian. In a world gone mad.

[37:21] In a world that's dark as hell. Dark and getting darker. Such that they'll end up in outer darkness. Hell. We need the light of God. To just shine his brilliant light.

[37:33] And expose it for what it is. And the light makes manifest. It shows things. And what are we to do? Wake up. Awake.

[37:44] Thou that sleepest. Sleepest. And arise from the dead. And Christ shall give thee light. The light goes on. Jesus is the light of the world. He puts the light on.

[37:56] And he dispels the darkness. Friends. Now this was me a bit earlier today. I was having such a nice little sleep. And it's time to wake up, isn't it?

[38:10] Wake up. Smell the coffee. Wake up. It's time to wake up. Awake. Thou that sleepest. Christ shall give thee light. It goes on to say, see that you walk circumspectly.

[38:23] Circum talks about a circle. It speaks about looking around. Having your wits about you. Having an alertness. Eyes in the back of your head. Walk circumspectly. We're walking in a world that's full of darkness.

[38:36] We should be wise. It's time to wise up. Wake up. Wise up. Time to be wise. Why? Redeeming the time. Make the use of your time. Make your day count.

[38:47] Make your life count. Why? Because the days are evil. So don't be unwise. But understand the will of God. As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the coming, the Son of Man.

[39:05] For as in the days of Noah, the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking. Party time. Party. Glug, glug, glug, glug, glug. Eating and drinking.

[39:15] Yay! Another gay wedding. Marrying and giving in marriage. Until the day that Noah entered into the ark.

[39:29] Friends, time is short. How we need to wise up. How we need to wake up. How we need to find the light in a world that's dark and darkening.

[39:42] How we need Christ to shine his light. Friends, I urge you today. I plead with you today. If you're outside of Christ, this world is mad and getting madder.

[39:54] You need Christ to make sense of it all. It's not God's plan. It's the devil's intent to corrupt and destroy.

[40:08] It tells in the time of Genesis and the time of Noah that man's heart was only evil continually. It tells how, I'll just get the right word there, that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

[40:28] God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth. And don't we live in wicked days? That's wicked. People like that.

[40:40] That means it's a good thing. Wicked. That's gross. That's wicked. That's wicked. But Jesus is everything, isn't he?

[40:54] Jesus is everything. He is the one who saves to the uttermost those who come unto him. Let's pray. Lord, we thank you that we can find peace with God in a world that's full of mayhem and confusion.

[41:12] We can find life in a world full of death and destruction. We can find truth in a world filled with lies. We can find grace and goodness and gladness in a world filled with evil and perversion.

[41:31] Lord, help us to find the truth that sets us free. Pray if there's any here today that have yet to trust you. Lord, these things might be a bit out there for some today.

[41:45] Lord, help us to search and keep on searching. As your word tells us, it says that you shall search me and find me when you shall search for me with all your heart.

[41:57] And pray that each one here that is searching will keep on searching until they find the truth. Help us, Lord, as Christians not to condemn or hurt others who've got different persuasions or beliefs, but to encourage them, to come alongside them, to love them, to point them to you, so that they too can be saved, just as we once were lost and now can thank you that we are found.
