[0:00] How to get really rich. That's my message for you this morning. I want to show you today how you can get rich.

[0:11] How you can get rich. Now I'm not talking about getting filthy rich, but rich in a good way. I'm talking really rich, really rich. Now some seek after precious gold. Some seek after precious jewels or pearls.

[0:24] I have something for you that is much more precious than of gold. Much more precious than of gold. These truths I share are truly precious, precious truths.

[0:39] Truths that change lives eternally. This is precious and it's powerful. The word of truth shows us how we can access God's rich blessings.

[0:51] And as we apply the truth, something happens. A multiplication. This is my prayer for you. That grace and peace be multiplied unto you.

[1:04] I'd like some of that, don't you? Grace and peace multiplied. Grace and peace. I want that. Don't you? Listen now.

[1:14] I tell you this can be possible for you. In your life today. And I'm going to show you how. Now, the truth we see here, if you apply it, will bring blessing.

[1:27] Another blessing for you, not only grace and peace multiplied, but another blessing you get, and you might want to turn here to 2 Peter, another blessing, if you put this into action in your life, is that you can never fall.

[1:42] You can never fall. You can never fall. Now, I used to work in the health industry, and we used to have a real push on falls, preventing falls.

[1:56] Well, I tell you, this is the one surefire way that you can never fall. If you put this into action, if you put this into practice in your lives. And Peter shows us how, in his second letter, turn there.

[2:08] He says, if you apply this, you will never fall. Fact is, many are falling. They're falling. They're falling. They're failing. There is a falling away, the Bible says, will come.

[2:19] People falling, falling flat on their faces, defeated, falling and falling again. You've heard of heart failure. Many are suffering from the dread condition of faith failure, as it were.

[2:32] Peter says, apply this, and you will never fall. This truth we can know, is truth that changes lives, still. This book, I've had a real close look at it, and you know, when you buy things down the shop, you check the use by date.

[2:49] This book has no use by date. It doesn't expire. Amen? It's the same today, as it always has been, and always will be. This book is eternal, and it's truth you can apply here and now.

[3:02] So, Peter says, apply this, and you will never fall. This truth we can know, is truth that changes lives.

[3:15] And Peter says, I want to keep reminding you of this. He says, get this. He says it over and over. It says it's important. He wants to remind people, to put them in remembrance. It's important, and it is still important.

[3:29] And it's still valid, today, for you. And these truths, if you grasp them, and put them into action in your life, will show you how to get rich.

[3:48] And I'm talking really rich, really rich, truly rich. You're probably saying, by now, get to the point, preacher, we want to know how to get rich. Well, firstly, Peter says this to you, about what you have been given.

[4:02] He says you have been given faith. Precious faith. 2 Peter 1, verse 1. Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained, like precious faith, with us through the righteousness of God, and our Saviour Jesus Christ, grace and peace be multiplied unto you, through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord.

[4:30] Peter's showing you here the first truth, number one, of how to get rich, really rich, is talking about faith. Now, yesterday, Saturday morning, out with the witnessing team, I knocked on a door, and a man answered.

[4:48] And we started to tell him our message, and he says, oh, I have my own belief. I was kind of curious, wondering what kind of faith has this man got?

[5:02] Of what religion is he part of? And he said, I have my own belief. And so I went ahead and I asked him, okay, tell me more. What is your belief? And he said, I'm an atheist.

[5:15] I was kind of shocked when he said that, because, in fact, I almost laughed. But he was being brutally honest. His belief belief was unbelief.

[5:27] How sad. How very sad. Nowadays, people can have all sorts of beliefs, faith, even believing in unbelief itself. And I honestly can't think of anything more irrational than that.

[5:41] Can you? I reckon that's what you could call blind faith, couldn't you? Blind faith. He believes in unbelief. He's an atheist. That's not the sort of faith we're talking about here.

[5:54] That's not the sort of faith that Peter's telling us of here. It's true faith. True faith. Even more than that, precious faith. This is precious. This is wonderful.

[6:05] This is beautiful. Precious faith. Faith. And James tells you in his letter, at chapter 2, verse 5, there's a people who God has chosen.

[6:16] He calls them, the poor of this world, yet rich in faith. Wow. It doesn't matter how poor you might be in this world, so long as you're rich in faith.

[6:27] That's what matters. James 2, verse 5, he says, Hearken, my beloved brethren, hath not God chosen, the poor of this world, rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that loved him.

[6:43] You are in that number. Rich. Truly rich. Rich. In faith. That's what counts, isn't it?

[6:54] It is what counts. Peter's saying that the people of faith can see grace and peace multiplied. And that they will never fall.

[7:05] That's something valuable, isn't it? That's worth something, isn't it? Isn't it? I reckon it's worth all the tea in China. And more.

[7:17] Isn't it? Grace and peace be multiplied unto you. You shall never fall. That's a richness. And that promise is for you. For you, sister.

[7:30] For you, brother. It's your promise from God. And in his first letter, Peter tells us of the trial of your faith. This is precious faith. This faith being much more precious, actually much more precious, much more precious than of gold.

[7:47] 1 Peter 1 verse 7, that the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold, which perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.

[8:04] Now, gold. Some of you are probably wearing some gold, sporting some gold, or you've got some gold. I kind of joke that my dad's got gold ingots under his bed.

[8:17] You've got these, you've got some gold potentially. Gold has different purity ratings. And the highest purity is 24 carat.

[8:29] You can't get 25 or 26. It's 24. That's the best you can get. That's the best you can buy. And 24 carat gold is 99.9% purity.

[8:43] Now, because I want you to get rich, really rich, truly rich, I'll tell you today of something much more precious than of gold.

[8:54] Amen. Much more precious than of gold. It's one of the greatest things you can have that you can know. It's precious. What is it? Faith. It's faith.

[9:06] To believe, not to believe in unbelief or some false god or false prophet, but to believe God is. God is. To believe in God.

[9:18] To believe in his saving grace shown at the cross in Christ. To believe God. That's the greatest, the most precious gift. And Peter's telling you this faith you have obtained.

[9:30] It's by the righteousness of God. This faith speaks of the righteousness of God. You can know that personally. The righteousness of God of our saviour. Get this faith, says Peter.

[9:41] Get this faith and you get grace and peace multiplied unto you. It's like those TV commercials of old that said, wait, there's more.

[9:55] There's more. You get faith, but you get grace. And you get peace multiplied unto you. You get all this thrown in as well. As side benefits, receive it.

[10:07] Grace and peace, flowing, overflowing, abounding, multiplied. But wait, there's more. It tells us of the knowledge of God.

[10:18] It's by the righteousness of God. And it tells us of the knowledge of God here. Of the knowledge of God, of Jesus our Lord. When your faith is in him, when your trust is in him, when you've been given this great blessing of faith, knowing Jesus changes your life.

[10:35] You know his righteousness. You know Jesus. You know grace. Grace. Grace. Marvellous, infinite, matchless grace.

[10:46] God's grace. And you know peace multiplied. Fellow believer, you are rich. Truly rich. Sister, you are rich.

[10:58] Brother, you are rich. If you have faith, you have precious faith. It's beyond, counting. It's beyond measure of man. More than any man can measure or count.

[11:12] You have been given some things, I put to you. And we don't always stop and appreciate what we have, what he's given to you. Firstly, you've been given faith. Secondly, it says you have been given all things.

[11:26] Verse 3 of 2 Peter 1. According as his divine power, hath given unto us all things. All things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called you to glory and virtue.

[11:42] Peter tells us here, we've been given all things that we need. All things that pertain unto life and godliness. That's the whole lot that we need, isn't it? All things that pertain unto life and godliness.

[11:54] In other words, all the things that we really need. All the things that really matter. He's given them to you. All things. All things. 2 Peter 1.3 tells you that.

[12:06] He's given it to you. All that is essential to life, to live. All that is essential to godliness, to enable you. Everything that you have need of, he's given them to you. By his divine power.

[12:19] He stamped it with his name. Guaranteed. Who is the one giving this to you? He is the one, the creator of the universe, the one most powerful. And he has freely given you all things.

[12:32] From his boundless treasure store, all the things that you need. Realise that today. You are rich. I'm amongst a very wealthy congregation of believers here this morning.

[12:48] I'm privileged to be in your company. Realise your great wealth, as it were. Through the knowledge of him, that he's called you to glory and virtue.

[12:59] When God gives, he doesn't hold back. Think of what it says about the riches of our God. Now, I'm not meaning this sounding like a health, wealth and prosperity preacher here, but the real wealth is what I'm talking about here.

[13:13] Get that. Not the amount that's in your wallet today, but that which is in your heart and soul. Realise the richness of your God towards you.

[13:24] When God gives, he doesn't hold back. It says of our God, he is rich in mercy. Wow. Wouldn't you like some of that? He is rich in mercy. It tells us of the riches of his glory.

[13:38] Eye has not seen, nor has the ear heard, nor has the answer into the heart of man, the things that God has prepared for them that love him. The riches of his glory. The riches of his goodness, it tells us.

[13:50] It tells us of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God. It tells us of the exceeding riches of his grace. God gives richly.

[14:04] Peter's telling you, you have been given faith. Wow. That should be enough, shouldn't it? Just to believe him, to trust him. Secondly, he says you've been given all things.

[14:16] All things that pertain to life and godliness. But wait, there's more. Thirdly, what's more? He's telling you that you've been given some precious promises.

[14:30] Wow. He likes it when someone promises you something. Now, mind you, I've been promised things I never got. But this one who promises you these things, of him it says that he cannot lie.

[14:47] You have been given promises by him. 1 Peter, sorry, 2 Peter 1 verse 4, you've been given promises. It says, whereby are given unto us exceeding, great, and precious promises.

[15:02] That by these you might be partakers of the divine nature. They're having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. God has given you precious faith and precious promises.

[15:16] Not just promises, but precious promises. Not just precious promises, but great, precious promises. Not just great, but exceeding great, and precious promises.

[15:33] That's, wow, overflowing, isn't it? Exceeding great, and precious promises. And they have been given to you, believer. They have been given to you.

[15:43] And these promises I put to you, they are powerful promises. These promises are by which we can be partakers. Partakers of the divine nature.

[15:55] Wow. Who's got some of the divine nature here this morning? You all have. You can have. You can have, you can partake of the divine nature.

[16:06] His divine power has given us blessings abundant. Such that we can be partakers of the divine nature. How can you get your head around that? That we can partake of the very nature and character of God.

[16:19] That's a mighty promise, isn't it? That Christ will be so formed in you that he'll start to kind of ooze out of the pores of your skin. That people will see Jesus in you.

[16:31] I know there was an old gospel slogan for a campaign, and people used to wear a badge that said, ask me about Jim. Ask me about Jim.

[16:41] And what it stands for, J-I-M. Jesus in me. Ask me about J-I-M. Jesus in me. That Christ be so formed in you that he'll start to kind of ooze out of you.

[16:58] And shine out of your life. Surely this is a life-changing truth. And that we can, that we such earthly creatures as we, mere mortals such as we, can be partakers of the very nature of Christ, our Lord.

[17:13] That we can be made like unto him. It tells you, you can. How many promises are there in the Bible? Everett Storms was a school teacher in Kitchener, Canada, and he sat down for a year and a half.

[17:30] He went through his Bible and he counted them. After a year and a half of careful study, Everett Storms counted 7,487 promises from God to man.

[17:51] There was more than various promises between individuals, but 7,500 promises in this book. Wow. If you need, need a, need something to lift you up, go to the book.

[18:06] Please go to the book, won't you? 7,500 promises. These pages are jam-packed with promises from God unto you, from the creator of the universe.

[18:17] Promises like Psalm 34, 17. The righteous cry and the Lord heareth and delivereth them out of all of their troubles.

[18:28] Nehemiah 8, verse 10. In part, the joy of the Lord is your strength. That's a promise. Hebrews 13, 5, he says, He hath said, I will never leave you, nor forsake you.

[18:46] Luke 11, 9, it says, And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given unto you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

[18:59] He's talking about prayer. That's a promise, isn't it? John 6, 47, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

[19:14] And so many more. These promises give us life. And by these promises, it says we can escape the corruption that is in the world through lust. God gave promises to Noah.

[19:27] God gives and you receive likewise. Think back to Noah. He was basically on his own some. He was a laughing stock. People would just laugh the very name of Noah.

[19:37] What a fruitcake. He wouldn't fit in with the corruption, with the tide of evil of this evil world. In Genesis 6, verse 5, it says, And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts and intents of, sorry, the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

[20:00] Genesis 6, verse 8, But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. Noah had some promises.

[20:11] He was going to escape. He did escape, but with just his family. He escaped the corruption of the world. Literally, the whole world was against him and against God.

[20:22] Doing wrong. Did that stop Noah? No way. Not a chance. He believed God. And he got the promises. Precious promises. He was rich in faith.

[20:33] He had exceeding great and precious promises. And he believed God would deliver, and he did. And so can he for you. You have God's promises. They're right here. Some 7,500 of them.

[20:47] Follow God's promises. Even if you stand alone like Noah. God's got some promises here for you. God gave his promises to Joseph. God gives and you receive, like Joseph.

[20:59] Genesis 37, we start the story of Joseph, and it tells this powerful story. Joseph had a pretty tough life. Sold into slavery by his own brothers, jealous of him.

[21:13] They told his father that he'd been killed by a wild animal. Later, Joseph's boss's wife framed him. He accused him falsely. He was thrown into prison.

[21:24] Joseph interpreted the dream of a prisoner who was released and restored to his position, but the man forgot him. Joseph was poor of this world.

[21:36] So poor that he was a prisoner in a cell. Yet he was rich in faith. He believed God. He believed the promises of God. And in the end, Joseph was raised to be leader of all Egypt, second only to the Pharaoh himself.

[21:48] When famine came, Joseph was able to save his family. And he told his brothers, he believed God right from the beginning, that God made it happen so that he could bless his family.

[21:59] But as for you, you thought it evil against me. Genesis 50 verse 20. But God, but God, but God, meant it for good. To bring to pass as it is this day to save much people alive.

[22:12] Genesis 50 verse 20. Joseph, by faith, received the promises of God. And he believed what God would give him. And he did. And we have like precious faith.

[22:25] Like precious faith. Like to Noah. Like to Joseph. God's promises are for you today. And he will keep you going through difficult times. You might feel a bit like Noah.

[22:35] A bit like Joseph. God's promises are yay and amen. They are for you. And they tell you how you can be partakers of the divine nature. I can't think of anything sweeter or more desirable than that, can't you?

[22:49] To be partakers of the divine nature. To know him, whom to know is life eternal. And to be partaking, taking part in that which is eternal and ever blessed.

[23:01] You have been given faith. And you've been given promises. The next big question is, what will you do with what you've been given? What will you do with what you've been given?

[23:14] We're called to stewardship. We see God wants you to grow what he has given you. To share it. It's like he's given us faith, but he wants us to give it away. Doesn't he?

[23:25] To give our faith away. To tell others, in other words. God has imparted precious faith to you, so you can impart that faith, as it were, to others.

[23:35] He's given precious promises to you, so that you can impart them to precious souls. Give your faith away. Tell others of the saviour, of mercy and grace, of peace, of salvation.

[23:52] Give some things. Give out. We've talked a lot about receiving and how you can be rich. And believer, believe you are rich in faith. We've talked about what he's given to you.

[24:03] Next, look at what God says we are to give. We see verse 5. 2 Peter 1. 2 Peter 1 verse 5. He says this. He says, give diligence.

[24:15] Give diligence. Peter says, grow, abound, expand. Step out of your comfort zone. Stretch yourself. You've been given like precious faith.

[24:26] He says, add to it. Verse 5. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith. Virtue. And to virtue, knowledge. And to knowledge, temperance.

[24:37] And to temperance, patience. And to patience, godliness. And to godliness, brotherly kindness. And to brotherly kindness, charity. Peter's saying, don't just stay there. Give diligence, says Peter.

[24:50] Give all diligence, it says. Peter's saying here, hey, don't stop here at faith. Don't hang your hat and stay there. He says, move on. Move forward. Move ahead.

[25:01] God says, don't let your faith sit still. Static. Stagnant. He wants your faith growing. Snowballing. Gathering momentum. He says, add to your faith.

[25:15] Now, of course, we believe faith alone saves us. Yet there's a sense of faith plus, as it were.

[25:27] What God would desire is that we add to our faith. Not to save us, but because our faith moves us.

[25:38] It puts action into our lives. To faith, he says, add virtue. Are you a good neighbour?

[25:50] Sometimes that's when it really comes down to it, doesn't it? A good citizen. Virtue. We could do with some of that, couldn't we? As a believer, we should be virtuous.

[26:02] It says, add knowledge. In other words, study the word. How do we add knowledge? Get a hold of these promises and learn them.

[26:13] Read it. Let it live in your heart. Study. Grow in knowledge. Secondly, or thirdly, temperance. Use self-control, in other words.

[26:25] You know, sometimes that faith can get tested and we can blow our stack just like the next guy. You know, the smoke comes out of our ears. Someone steps on our toes.

[26:36] Some, we get gnarky. Temperance. Use self-control. Of course, there's all the fruit of the spirit we could talk further about. Patience. In other words, learn to persevere.

[26:47] Don't be deterred. Add to your faith. Virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience. Wow. To persevere. When the going gets tough, the tough get going.

[26:59] Godliness. Godliness. That reverence for God. Peter's saying, add to your faith. Put more into it, as it were. Let your faith grow and be evident and realised in your life.

[27:12] Peter says, if you give like this, you will gain. If you give all diligence, you will gain. You will grow. It says, verse 8, 2 Peter 1, verse 8. For if these things be in you and abound, they make you that you shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

[27:28] God's will for you is to be a growing, going Christian. As we add to our faith, we'll be richer for it. Richer still.

[27:38] As we put our faith into action. As we put feet on our faith. We can. God helping us. A couple of weeks, I'll have a tooth.

[27:52] I won't be. I'll be able to say, put feet on your faith a bit more boldly. A bit more straightforwardly. Put feet on your faith. Amen.

[28:03] Verse 9. But he that lacketh these things is blind and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. He's saying, don't miss out. Are you going to be blind and barren?

[28:14] Or are you going to bear fruit? Believer, God wants you to be fruitful, to bear fruit. Don't stay where you are. Add to your faith. Keep on going forward. If you miss this, you'll lose out.

[28:25] You've been given all things, it says. Consider how truly rich you are today. And Peter in his first letter tells us, as we heard earlier, of the precious blood of Christ.

[28:37] 1 Peter 1 verse 19. And what's he redeemed us with? But with the precious blood of Christ. As of a land without blemish and without spot, may we be truly grateful for the cleansing blood.

[28:50] The power of the blood. You've been cleansed from sin. You have much to be grateful for, don't you? Well, just to be clean. Don't you just love to be clean? When you've been out in the garden sweating and you just want to have a clean up.

[29:04] And it's so fresh and nice. But to be free of sin. To be saved. To be set free. To be made clean in your heart. Your Lord deserves your heart, your love, your diligence.

[29:16] God wants you to grow. And Peter says, give. Give diligence. Give diligence to answer your faith. Now, diligence isn't a popular word these days, is it? It's not a buzzword.

[29:28] You know, people are running a business. You know, you're looking for someone, you want to look for someone who's diligent. Someone who's diligent. It's not popular these days. They don't train you in school how to be diligent.

[29:41] It's not a popular word. Sometimes it's the opposite of diligence that prevails, isn't it? What's the opposite of diligence? Careless. Negligent. Slack.

[29:52] Lazy. People are inclined to non-committal. Just chilling out. Relaxed. Laid back. Not really taking it seriously. It's the opposite of diligence, isn't it?

[30:03] That's the culture we're living in. That's Australia. Let's face it. You know, I'm speaking as a born-again Aussie, as it were. I've been adopted by this fair nation to be, so I can call myself and claim myself an Aussie.

[30:18] And we know that Aussie culture is, she'll be right, mate. No worries, mate. Sadly, many seem careless, don't they? Rather, God says, give diligence.

[30:28] Give diligence. Apply yourself. Put the effort in. Add to your faith. Don't just stay there. Move on. Grow. Keep recharging your batteries. Keep learning.

[30:39] Keep on applying your faith. Put it into action. And he says it again, not only in verse 5, but again in verse 10, give diligence. He says, give diligence to add to your faith.

[30:52] And he says it again in verse 10, give diligence to make your calling and election sure. You're called. You're chosen. Wow. Don't you just love it? You know, back in school days when you get picked by the captain, you've been picked by the captain for his team.

[31:08] Amen. You're chosen. Give diligence to make your calling and election sure. You're called. You're chosen. Yes, Lord, pick me. I want to be saved. Pick me. He's telling us today of things that are certain, things that are eternal.

[31:22] There's a richness. There's a fullness. There's an abounding. And there's nothing more precious, more valuable than these truths we're telling of today, that you are truly rich, you that believe.

[31:34] And that's God's will for us. He says, Peter says, give diligence on things that are sure. Verse 10, wherefore, the rather brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure.

[31:45] For if you do these things, you shall never fall. Make your calling and election sure. This is for sure. This is guaranteed by God. God stamped it with his authority.

[31:57] This is the word of God. And these promises are for you today that you can know an assurance. You shall never fall. Verse 11, for so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

[32:15] You've got God's promises here. And one day you will surely enter in. It says, so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

[32:27] One day, one day the door will open and it won't be Peter standing at the pearly gates as the cartoons have. You want it to be interrogated as such because Jesus will know you are his and he is yours.

[32:43] And there's going to be an entrance that is ministered unto you abundantly. Because they'll know your name. It's going to be written down. And you'll be ministered into the very presence of your dear Lord and Savior.

[33:03] Believer this morning, you are rich. Truly rich. Realise the great extent of his great mercy and love. The riches of his glory that he's granted to you.

[33:14] These truths are for you and they're everlasting. These truths are enduring. Never ending. Life changing. Precious truths. I'm showing you how you can be truly rich.

[33:26] Truly rich. Of course, this world can count riches as to money in the bank. But the riches we tell of here are much more than that. Much, much more. Much more precious than of gold.

[33:39] That perishes. Much more precious than 24 carat. There's no greater gift, no greater riches we can know than to know him. Than to know Jesus. Do you know him?

[33:50] Do you know him? It's so critical that you know him. Peter tells of this like precious faith. He tells of the precious blood of Christ. He tells of the very one who himself is precious.

[34:03] 1 Peter 2 verse 7. And unto you therefore which believe he is precious. But unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner.

[34:17] For some who are disobedient, they will lose out. But for we that believe, he is precious. Isn't he precious to you this morning? Jesus.

[34:29] Jesus. You are precious. You are precious. Is that your heart's cry? This precious saviour has given his all. The one who stepped down from his glorious, glorious throne.

[34:41] This splendorous throne. The throne of his glory. He stepped down from it. He took upon him the form of a servant. He was made in the likeness of such as we, yet without sin.

[34:53] He left heaven's abundance. He became poor for you that you can become rich. Truly rich. What is he given? His precious blood.

[35:05] His precious promises. And Peter closes in this section here, verse 12. Wherefore, I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though you know them and be established in the present truth.

[35:19] Peter says, I'm going to keep reminding you of this. I'm going to keep telling you of this because this is important. This matters. Know this, he says. Be reminded of this. Meditate.

[35:30] Learn. Study this. Be established in this, this present truth. Would you like to get rich? Really rich. Really rich. Then remember these truths today.

[35:41] Always. Realise the opportunity you've been given to become a son, a daughter of the King of glory. Realise the opportunity of such precious things that he grants to you freely by his grace.

[35:54] And he says, undeserving as we are. You have been given faith. Precious faith. You've obtained it. You have been given promises. Exceeding great and precious promises.

[36:10] Grace and peace be multiplied unto you. His divine power has given you all things. All things. All the things that matter, that count, that really are important.

[36:22] He's given you all things. That pertain unto life and godliness. You can be a partaker of the divine nature. You can never fall.

[36:35] You can abound and be fruitful. And surely one day there's going to be an abundant admission. There's going to be, I don't know if they've got balloons up there, but there's going to be some jumping and shouting.

[36:51] And there's going to be some glories, isn't there? When they're going to have an abundant entrance into the everlasting kingdom of your God and King. Won't there be some hallelujahs on that day?

[37:03] Won't there? Such an entrance has got to be ministered unto you. As you enter into the everlasting kingdom of your great Lord and Saviour.

[37:14] God says for you, for the meantime, you've got some giving to do. Give, give out. Give away your faith. Tell others. This message is so important we cannot keep it to ourselves.

[37:28] And he says give diligence. Add to your faith. Determine to grow. Say, I'm just not going to be a standing still Christian. I'm going to be a jumping up and down Christian.

[37:40] I'm going to be a running, racing, leaping, jumping for joy Christian. I'm going to be a Christian who wants to tell this message, this glad message that I must tell them.

[37:50] While I have lips to speak it, I want to say Jesus saves. Determine to grow. Give diligence to it. And make your election.

[38:01] You're calling an election sure. This is rock solid. This is something you've called by God. That's a blessing, isn't it? To know his call. To know his saving love.

[38:13] To hear his voice saying, you are mine. And you can say, I am his. I am his. Glory. Let's pray. Lord, we thank you for the great rich mercy and love and grace.

[38:28] The grace and peace multiplied unto us. Lord. Oh, Lord God. We cannot reckon it. It's much more precious than of gold. Lord, this love, this faith, this mercy, this peace, this joy, this kingdom yet ahead of us.

[38:45] Lord, but most of all, your precious blood. The precious love that you showed at the cross. Lord, we pray that each one might know the precious mercy that is so extended to the undeserving.

[38:59] This love that is unconditional. And we're so glad that it is, Lord. Because if your love was conditional, then we would not receive it. Lord, we thank you for the peace that passes all understanding.

[39:12] That can keep our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. We praise, Lord, for what you've given, the riches of your glory. That we are truly, as it were, having an inheritance that is reserved in heaven for us.

[39:29] That it is, it cannot fade away. It's just kept in store. And Lord, our name is written down. We that have trusted you. We pray if any here today will say, look, I don't think I'm there yet.

[39:45] That, Lord, even by faith right now, we would see our name being written down in glory. We would see our name written down by your hand as we trust you.

[39:58] You're going to write our name in the Lamb's Book of Life. And it's going to be written there for eternity with indelible ink that cannot be blotted away. It's ink that is never going to fade.

[40:11] Lord, our name is going to be written down in the Lamb's Book of Life. We pray that each one would know what it is. To know by faith that you died on the cross for their sin. You rose again. You're coming again as our living saviour.

[40:24] We trust in you and your entire work. Because we know it's faith alone that saves us. In your grace. In your mercy. In your reception of us, Lord. And help us, Lord, yet to add to our faith.

[40:36] Not to leave it there. But to give diligence. To be diligent Christians. Lord, help us to be such a people. In Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. Amen.
