Biblical Principles of Giving

In light of what we have been given from God, we are to give back to God as an act of worship to Him.

In the first principle that Giving is motivated by Grace we also saw how our first priority is giving to the local church. Here are five reason that we saw in the sermon.

1. Christ builds and blesses one institution: the church (Matt 16:18)
2. Christ saves us into the church
   3)Belonging to Christ’s church global means belonging to Christ’s church local
3. The church is Christ’s sufficient institution to address the greatest world problem (sin & separation from God) – and disciple-making is his sufficient method to solve the greatest world problem
4. It’s what the early church practiced as recorded in Scripture
