Which List Are You On?

[0:00] And then we're going to turn to John chapter 5. Do you have your Bibles? John chapter 5, starting in verse 28. Marvel not at this, for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and shall come forth they that have done good unto the resurrection of life, and they that have done evil unto the resurrection of damnation.

[0:34] And so I want to preach to you a thought from a burden that God's laid on my heart today. From this thought, it's more of a question. Which list are you on?

[0:48] Which list are you on? Help me pray. Lord Jesus, we need you today, God. God, it would seem that things are against us today. God, let this message wouldn't be preached, God.

[1:01] God, I pray, Lord, that you're with us now today, God, and that you bless the rest of this service, God, and let your word go forth with anointing, and let it rest upon us, God, and touch every single one, Lord, and that it would challenge us today to understand, God, what you have for us, and for us to remember, Lord, your promises.

[1:20] In Jesus' name I pray. Amen. You may be seated. We all experience suffering. We, disciples of Jesus Christ, like anybody else, experience the storms of life, the wiles of the devil, the chaos of a fallen and cursed creation.

[1:40] And there's nothing the enemy of our soul would like more than for us to go through life with our heads down and our eyes to the ground and to have our eyes on the rocky path we are on called life and to have our eyes on the obstacles that we have in front of us, the obstacles on the horizon that we see, to keep our focus there and to keep our focus on and our attention on the issues and the problems of this world that seemingly surround us on the daily.

[2:13] Every corner we turn, there's a new problem. Every day that comes, there's a new problem. And he would like for us to be so focused on our suffering and on our pains instead of the promises the Lord has for us.

[2:26] The enemy of our soul, he would like for us to live our lives focused on what is passing and what's going to fade away instead of the things that the Bible says are forever and for eternity, the eternal things of God.

[2:41] And it is apparent to me that the devil has succeeded. He has succeeded in removing from our minds the greatest promise that we have, the greatest promise of all time, a promise directly from God.

[2:56] I go, Jesus said, to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am there ye may be also.

[3:09] That is a promise that we have been given by the Lord and that Jesus right now is preparing a place for us and he will come back for us and we will get to be with him forever.

[3:23] But the enemy of our soul has been able to distract us from the reality of heaven and has removed heaven from our daily thoughts. It is though heaven has lost its glory in our lives.

[3:39] If you are honest with yourself today, you would admit heaven has been absent from your daily thoughts. How long has it been since you actually really thought about heaven and the promises of God that we have in the Bible, the greatest promises that we have?

[3:54] So I want to be a reminder today. I want us to be reminded. I want us to be reminded of the heavenly eternity that John saw and prophesied. I want us to be reminded of the promise that we have because it's become absent from our minds and I don't want the devil to succeed in his distractions.

[4:13] And John said in Revelation, I was in the spirit on the Lord's day and I heard behind me a great voice as of a trumpet saying I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, and what thou seest write in a book and send it unto the seven churches.

[4:30] The number seven represents completion or the whole. There were seven days of creation. And so we have to understand about the book of Revelation.

[4:41] It was for the present day and it was for the future too. It's for all churches. He said write what you see in a book and send it unto the seven churches.

[4:52] We are here today reading what was written in that book and we are a church of God. Amen. We are the one true church of the living God and we are reading those same things that God showed John in the book of Revelation.

[5:04] We're still reading it today. That was a letter sent to us all through time and to this point that we are here today. And so that's what we're going to look at. John went on to say, I looked and behold a door was opened in heaven and the first voice which I heard was as it was a trumpet talking with me which said come up hither and I will show thee things which must be hereafter.

[5:29] And immediately I was in the spirit and behold a throne was set in heaven and one sat on the throne. Today we need to remind ourselves that heaven is not just an old fairy tale.

[5:43] Heaven is not an old fairy tale. It's not some made up make belief childhood story. It's not a symbol of something else. There's no allegory in it.

[5:55] Heaven is a real place. It's not just symbolic. It's not just a dream. It's not a figment of somebody's imagination. It wasn't just an imagination of John's. But heaven is real.

[6:06] It's a promised place. Heaven is a real place and I want to go to heaven. I want to go to heaven. And I thank God that he has prepared a place for us in heaven.

[6:20] If you struggle to respond with incredible excitement when I preach about the promise we have of heaven then you need to hear me today.

[6:31] If you struggle to respond to what I'm preaching it's because the devil has accomplished his goal in removing the reality of heaven from your heart and mind. What is it then that our eternal soul is desperate for and longing for?

[6:48] It's as though we've become lazy or uncaring in some way to the greatest promise that's in the Bible. It's as though the splendor of heaven has lost its impressiveness to us.

[7:01] To us heaven has become so distant in our conversations and thoughts. It's rarely in the songs that we sing anymore. It's absent from our conversations.

[7:13] It's absent from our hearts true desires. And it's in that condition we have become far too worldly. Too comfortable in the world and too comfortable with the things of the world.

[7:27] And we have found ways to dilute the curse of the fallen state of existence in this cursed world that we live in. And now there is no daily desire for heaven found in us anymore.

[7:39] I remember the days when we would hear preaching and teaching about heaven all the time. It would be in conversations around the table. We sing songs about it all the time.

[7:49] And this has escaped us somehow. And we're distracted with these other things in the world that's fleeting and passing away and will not last forever. And I'm here to declare that a disciple of Jesus Christ is to be a follower of Jesus Christ in every sense of the way.

[8:06] And right now Jesus is in heaven preparing a place for you. And if you are a disciple of Jesus Christ you should want to be where He is. If you're a follower of Christ then you should want to be with Him in glory even this minute.

[8:19] Yes, we have His Spirit dwelling in us. Yes, He is in us and we are in Him. But I want to be where Jesus is. Jesus Christ the world has gotten to the point that most do not believe that there's a literal heaven or a literal hell.

[8:34] You look at the statistics and the studies that go out to all the vast number of denominations and churches and there's a very high percentage of them that do not believe in a literal heaven or a literal hell.

[8:49] Atheism has become more popular and accepted within our world today. But what we need to understand today is that everyone has been given a measure of faith. You have been given a measure of faith.

[9:00] I have been given a measure of faith. Every man has been given a measure of faith and you can choose whatever you want to put that faith into. And when you remove your faith from God and you remove your faith from the things of God and you remove your faith from the promises of God such as heaven you will have to start putting that faith into something else.

[9:20] And in this society that we live today you can put your faith into any belief that you want. And you can put your beliefs into whatever thing you want to put it into.

[9:31] You can believe in anything you want. You can believe in LGBTQ. You can believe in trans. You can believe in transgender. You can believe in trans species.

[9:43] You want to be a cat? You can be a cat. You can believe in same-sex marriage. You can believe in Scientology. You can believe anything you want. And you can invest in your measure of faith that you were given that was intended to be for God.

[9:58] And you can invest that into whatever other things you want to invest it in and grow that faith into anything you want. And the world will defend you and the world will encourage you to do so. But if you can't believe in the one true God, if you believe in the one true God, they're not going to encourage you to do that.

[10:18] They're not going to defend that because there's something that's aggravating to the devil when the disciple of Jesus Christ stands up for truth in this world. There's something that aggravates the devil when somebody takes this word of God and says, no, no, no, no.

[10:31] That's not how it's meant to be. That's not what God's word says. That's not how it should be. This is what it should be. And we have our faith in the things of God. And when a saint of God puts their faith in God and in the things of God and gets their mind on the promises of God and gets their mind on heaven and they talk about heaven and they get excited about heaven and it aggravates the enemy of our soul.

[10:54] And I don't know about you, but I like to aggravate the devil. So I'm going to have heaven on my mind. I'm going to talk about heaven. I'm going to preach about heaven and I want to be in heaven. And in this society today, it's unpopular to believe in God.

[11:10] It's unpopular to believe in heaven. It's unpopular to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. But whether or not it fits in the philosophies or whether or not it fits in what's politically correct, there's a God, His name is Jesus, and there is a heaven and there is a hell.

[11:26] There is an eternal destination for our eternal soul. And we will be resurrected either into life or resurrected into damnation as our opening scripture said. There are two lists and your name is going to be on one of them.

[11:39] And my question for you today is which list is your name on? Which list do you want your name on today? And today, if you are going to even hear what I'm preaching, you must first believe that there is a God.

[11:52] For he that cometh to God must first believe that He is and that He's a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. If you don't believe in God and you claim to be atheists, then that's the spirit of Antichrist.

[12:04] But in order for you to believe in heaven, you have to first know that there is a God and you have to know who Jesus is. Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven?

[12:16] This same Jesus which is taken up from you into heaven shall so come in like manner as ye have seen Him go into heaven. Amen. Heaven is real. 1 Thessalonians 4, 16 through 18.

[12:27] For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trump of God and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

[12:47] Verse 18. Wherefore, comfort one another with these words. We are to comfort each other with these words. Comfort each other with the words that there's a heaven.

[12:58] Comfort each other with the fact that Jesus is going to return for us one day. And I want us to be comforted today in knowing that. We cannot forget that one day we shall be caught up together to meet Him in the clouds.

[13:09] And I want to remind us that there is a heaven in our future. Amen. I think we just need to thank God for that. God, You're so worthy, Lord Jesus. God, I thank You, Lord, that You're preparing a place for us, God.

[13:23] God, I thank You, Lord, for that, Jesus. I don't want to take it for granted. I don't want it to be out of my mind. I want it to be on my mind every single day. It's not pleasurable to God that we don't think about the greatest promise that He has for us.

[13:37] It's not, I don't think it would be acceptable to God for us to never think about the pleasures and the joys that He has set up for us in His presence for eternity, to go through day after day and never consider the fact that God is preparing a place for us, for us to go and spend eternity with Him.

[13:55] I don't think that's right. Hebrews 11 and 16 says, But now they desire a better country that is unheavenly. Wherefore, God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He hath prepared for them a city.

[14:11] I desire that better country. I desire that one that is heavenly. Hebrews 13 and 14, For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.

[14:26] And so we have to realize that this is not our forever. Where we are today is not our forever. This is not our continuing city. But we need to seek that forever city that is to come.

[14:38] And it's the desire of the enemy of our soul to remove heaven from our minds. But the Bible mentions heaven over 2,000 times. Over 2,000 times, the Bible, it talks about heaven.

[14:49] We ought to be talking about it. We ought to be singing about it. We ought to be teaching about it and preaching about it. Heaven is real and I want to go to heaven today. I want to go to heaven. John said that a door was opened in heaven and I heard a voice say, Come up hither.

[15:09] Let's look at what was revealed to John about heaven and know that the reason Jesus let John see is so that he could write it down and share it with us so we would be desiring it.

[15:21] We need to understand that the reason why God revealed this to John was specifically so we could be comforted by these words so that we could know that we have a place that's coming, that we have a promise ahead of heaven.

[15:35] So let's look at Revelation chapter 21. We're going to spend a lot of time in Revelation chapter 21. 21 verse 4. The Bible says that God is going to wipe away all tears from our eyes and we're talking about heaven.

[16:08] We're talking about heaven. This is a vision in heaven. Why would we have tears in our eyes or be crying and feel sorrow in heaven? And the only thing that I can think of is initially we are going to know.

[16:23] We are going to know who didn't make it. We are going to know whose name was not on the list that it should have been on. We are going to see all the loved ones.

[16:34] All the friends that didn't make it. The parents that didn't make it. The siblings, the brothers and sisters that didn't make it. We're going to the children that didn't make it.

[16:46] And I believe that for a short period of time God is going to let us see it and let us know it and let us understand it. And I believe in that because in Luke he let the rich man see before he closed the veil.

[16:57] So I think for the first little bit there's going to be some crying and there's going to be some sorrow. But then the Bible says he's going to wipe away all the tears from their eyes and there will be no more sorrow nor death and the former things will be passed away and we'll remember them no more.

[17:13] And all through Revelation chapter 21 we see heaven. Revelation chapter 21 and 11. Having the glory of God and her light was like unto a stone most precious even like a jasper stone clear as crystal and had a wall great and high and had twelve gates and the gates twelve angels and names written thereon which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel.

[17:41] And on the east three gates and on the north three gates and on the south three gates and on the west three gates and the wall of the city had twelve foundations and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

[17:55] Revelation 12.15 And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city and the gates thereof and the wall thereof and the city lieth four square and the length is as large as the width or the breadth and he measured the city with a reed twelve thousand furlongs the length and the breadth of the height of it are equal and he measured the wall thereof a hundred and forty and four cubits according to the measure of man that is of the angel.

[18:31] Revelation 21.19 And the foundation of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper the second sapphire the third chalcedony the fourth emerald the fifth sardonyx the sixth sardius the seventh chrysolite the eighth beryl the ninth topaz the tenth chrysoprasus the eleventh jacinth the twelfth amethyst and I looked all these stones up when I was studying this and they're amazing.

[19:11] They're beautiful and this is what the foundation to the walls made of and the twelve gates were twelve pearls every several gate was one pearl and the street of the city was pure gold as it were transparent glass and I saw no temple therein for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it and the city had no need of the sun neither the moon to shine for it for the glory of God did lighten it and the Lamb is the light thereof and the nation of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honor to it and the gates of it shall be shut at all by day will not be shut at all by day for there shall be no night there and they shall bring the glory and honor of the nations unto it and verse 27 and there shall in no wise enter into anything that defileth neither whatsoever worketh abomination or maketh a lie but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life that is the list you want to be on the Lamb's book of life you want your name written there

[20:21] I want my name written on that list because I really want to see what Jesus has prepared for us I really want to see it all I really want to talk to Jesus I want to talk to Jesus I want to see it all I really want to see the apostles I want to talk to the apostles and I feel like I know a lot about them from what I read in the word and their examples and the lessons in the word and all that is there to help us here now but I want to see them and I want to hear what they have to say about their experiences I have questions for them when I get into heaven when I get into heaven I want to talk to Peter he was one of the first ones Jesus handpicked and called while he was fishing and said drop your nets and come follow me and I'll make you fishers of men he denied Jesus three times three times he denied Jesus but he still got to preach on the day of

[21:23] Pentecost Acts 2.38 message to repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost I want to talk to Paul the apostle Paul see he was he was on his way to Damascus with papers in his hands to persecute the Christians he was on his way to persecute with the authority and the and the the directive to annihilate the Christians of that day and he had an experience on his road there and he figured out who Jesus was and and ended up traveling all over the known world after his conversion he was starting churches everywhere all over in the New Testament we see all his letters to the churches that he started and I'm interested and I want to talk to him I want to talk to Abraham I want to when he was called out of that that land of idol worship and and told he was going to be making a nation from his seed when he's that old when he was that old and and all the things that happened and then the promise came true and there was Isaac and and then and then what was it like to be asked to take Isaac to a mountain and to offer him as a sacrifice what was that like and he he was willing to do it and when I get to heaven

[22:45] I want to talk to Moses what was it what was going through his mind when that burning bush was not being consumed and all of a sudden the voice of God came out of that burning bush and there he was a very real calling upon his life to go and deliver God's people from Egypt and then and then what was it like to lead all those probably millions of people we heard the number recently 600,000 men only probably 2-3 million people led out of Egypt what was that like to have to deal with all those things when I get to heaven I want to talk to Judas Iscariot when he was carrying the money bag for the disciples of Jesus and the devil came into him and after he sold Jesus out for 30 pieces of silver what was he thinking I want to know what he was thinking when I get to heaven I'm going to take Judas over to a coffee shop in heaven and sit him down and say Judas what were you doing man what were you thinking to take 30 pieces of silver and betray Jesus over 30 pieces of silver and then you betray him with a kiss the night before he goes into be judged

[23:54] I want to talk to Jezebel from the Old Testament where she worshipped the one true God but then she abandoned God and she ran away from the things of God and then started worshipping Baal and had all these false prophets and was trying to kill the prophet of God and painting her face up decking herself with jewelry and having a Jezebel spirit about her I want to find out what was going through her mind when I get to heaven I want to ask Pilate Pontius Pilate the one who gave in to the people when they cried give us Jesus they wanted to crucify Jesus and he knew Jesus was innocent he knew Jesus did nothing to be sentenced to death but he decided to go ahead and appease the people and he I want to know I'm going to ask Pilate who brought you that basin where you washed your hands like you would just wash your hands of this thing that you did to accuse innocent

[24:57] Jesus to be crucified when I get to heaven I want to meet Adolf Hitler I want to find out what happened to you did your mom drop you on your head he must have been full of the devil I want to know what happened what caused you to want to annihilate God's chosen people the Jews and kill over 6 million Jews men women babies children elderly baby what possessed you to want to make lampshades out of the skin of dead Jews what prompted you to do that and start in a world war that ended up killing over 80 million people when I get there I want to find out these things did I say something wrong you guys look a little confused you think we're going to see Hitler in heaven that's what all these that's what these denominations are preaching saved by grace all you have to do is believe in

[26:03] Jesus all you have to do is call on his name but you know what the Bible says thou believest that there is one God thou do us well the devils also believe in tremble James said even in the devils believe in one God and tremble so I guess based on those teachings!

[26:27] all the devils are going to be in heaven with us according to those denominations teachings but just believe in God and his grace alone will save you do you believe that when we get to heaven we're going to see Hitler of course not so if you don't believe the list I gave you about who will be there then who's going to determine who's going to be there who's going to determine that when my kids were younger we were looking at putting them into Turlock Christian School and I went online and I looked and in Turlock Christian School statement of faith under the salvation heading on their website it says we believe that salvation is God's grace alone we believe basically everybody is saved just because what God did we believe that whoever will call on the Lord will be saved okay that's not biblical how can all these preachers teaching a false doctrine teach someone how to get to a place they don't even know how to get to themselves because if you read actually what

[27:37] Jesus said in Matthew 7 21 not everyone that saith unto me Lord Lord shall enter into the kingdom of heaven but he that do with the will of my father which is in heaven so I think God is the one that's in control of the list I think God's the one that gets to decide who's on the list and in case you don't know what's on the list let me read you a few things Revelation 21 5 through 8 and he that set up on the throne said behold I make all things new and he said unto me write for these words are true and faithful and he said unto me it is done I am alpha and omega the beginning and the end I will give unto him that is the thirst of the fountain of the water of life freely!

[28:16] he that overcometh shall inherit all things he that overcometh okay it's going to be the one that overcomes I want to be on the list of the overcomers the ones that overcome the world the one that overcomes all the false doctrines the one that overcomes all the distractions the one that overcomes all the bad doctrines out there that are leading people to a devil's hell thinking that they're saved but let's read the next verse revelation is 21 and 5 I'm sorry verse 8 21 verse 8 but the fearful and the unbelieving and the abominable and murderers and whoremongers and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone which is the second death so that's the other list it's not the Lamb's book of life that's the list you might want to get off that list maybe we should read the list a little more often maybe we should teach and preach the list a little more often if you believe in

[29:27] God and you have to believe in heaven and if you believe in heaven then you have to believe that there's a devil's hell we have a heaven to hope for and a hell to avoid read the list of exclusions from heaven and if you find yourself on there get off the list here's another list you can read 1st Corinthians 6 9 through 10 know you not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God be not deceived neither fornicators nor idolaters nor adulterers nor effeminate nor abusers of themselves with mankind nor thieves nor covetous nor drunkards nor revilers nor extortioners shall inherit the kingdom of God do not be deceived there is a heaven and there is a hell and these are not fairy tales and the bible is explicitly clear on who's going to make it who's not what you need to do to make it and what you are going to experience if you do make it and what you're going to experience if you don't make it we don't be surprised by this don't look at it and scratch your head that the hour is coming in which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice

[30:49] I can't explain that don't ask me how that is or what happens exactly to us when we die before Jesus comes I don't know I don't know exactly what happens but I trust what the word of God says there will come a day that I will hear his voice his voice I'm going to hear it and I'm guessing he's probably going to call my name just like he did to Lazarus when he told Lazarus to come out and he called him by name and he came out of that tomb that's how I see it he's!

[31:28] probably going to call my I'm going to all I knows I was dead and then all of a sudden I hear God calling my name I hear Jesus calling my name and then I'm going to be resurrected and I shall come forth out of my grave and shall come forth they that have done good unto the resurrection of life and they that have done evil unto the resurrection of damnation there is a resurrection coming for everyone and can you imagine can you imagine what it would be like to be resurrected to live in a lake of fire with Jezebel and Adolf Hitler and Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden and Marilyn Manson and Jeffrey Dahmer and any other figure you can think of that you know is going to bust hell wide open could you imagine being resurrected out of your grave just to be placed there your eternal soul to be placed there in a lake of fire it makes you appreciate revelations chapter 21 verse 27 where it says there shall in no wise enter into anything that defileth remember when we're reading about heaven nothing's going to enter into heaven that defileth neither whatsoever worketh abomination or maketh a lie but they which are written in the

[32:46] Lamb's book of life the Lamb's book of life let's all stand that is the list that we want to make sure that we're on the Lamb's book of life I had a recurring dream as a child see growing up I got a healthy dose of fear of not being in the Lamb's book of life we used to hear preaching on heaven and hell like I'm telling you brother we would hear preaching on heaven hell when we were growing up people would in the middle of the message people would be literally getting out of their seats and running full speed to the altar throwing themselves on the altar because they wanted to make heaven they didn't want to go to hell that was the type of atmosphere in preaching we hardly hear this kind of preaching anymore but I had this recurring nightmare as a nine and ten year old that was standing in the courtyard!

[33:48] It's kind of clear and vivid at the same time it's kind of blurry but I'm standing there on the steps in front of a large courtyard outside of a huge gate and in front of the gate was a huge guy with a huge table and on it was a huge book that was bigger than a person and I'm looking up at it that's how tall it was so it's like in my mind I felt like I was an adult in that dream as a nine and ten year old but I'm looking up so the guy's probably at least 12 15 feet tall and this table's massive it's huge and it has a huge book on it and this guy's just looking this huge guy is just looking past eyes just looking into the depths of my soul is what it felt like and he's just turning the pages on this big book and it's like whoosh whoosh of these pages turning on this book and he's not even looking at the names on the book and

[34:57] I'm like thinking to myself please look on the name my name has got to be there somewhere and this was a nightmare that to the T at least 20 or 30 times in the course of a year or two and ultimately I interpreted that dream that my name couldn't be found in that book and it bothered me of course it was a nightmare I would wake up crying and I was at the time living with my dad and my dad is a witness and he used that I obviously would share that dream with him because I was scared as a nine and ten year old and he basically would use that as a talking point against the church see all they do is scare you they just teach little kids scaring them with these messages on hell you know and they just scare!

[36:05] You it's out of fear well it wasn't hell that was scaring me in my dream it took me to become an adult to understand this and realize this one I was away from the influences of Pentecost and I was in a home hours away in a Jehovah's Witnesses home and God was keeping me from all the message I heard as a kid when I would attend God was keeping me focused and worried about missing heaven and was put that was that was these messages were burnt into me in a sense they were embedded into my heart and my spirit and my mind and even in as a 9 and 10 year old hours and hours away in an environment that was not conducive to going to heaven God was keeping me with the things that had been instilled in me through the preaching of the word of

[37:08] God and so my fear was not hell per se my fear was going to miss out on heaven I wasn't I wasn't fearing that I was burning in hell that might have been a reality next in the dream but I never dreamed that my dream was standing outside of heaven and probably now as an adult reading through these things the Bible says that at every gate there's an angel and then also reading that there's a book of life my name was not found in the book of life that was how it felt I was not going to be able to make it in and that hurt so bad and I was so scared of that I want to make it to heaven I know why you live for God maybe you're more spiritual than me but it motivated me to stick

[38:11] I want to go to heaven I to make it to heaven I want to be my home I want to make it to heaven I made up in my mind that I want to make it to heaven I want to think about heaven I want to be motivated by the promise of heaven. I have to have my name written in the Lamb's book of life. And the Bible says in Isaiah chapter 5 verse 14, therefore hell hath enlarged herself and opened her mouth without measure and their glory and their multitude and their pomp and he that rejoices shall descend into it. It says hell has enlarged herself without measure. And we just read earlier all the measurements of heaven. Heaven is a measured place. Heaven is actually a measured place. In other words, space is limited. And I believe that there's going to come a day when that last person is going to repent of their sins. And that last person is going to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.

[39:04] And when they do, they're going to come up out of the water being baptized with the Spirit, the evidence of speaking in other tongues. And as they're filled with the Holy Ghost in that moment, it's all going to be over. And then all of a sudden there's going to be a trumpet and then a voice and we're going to be called up. And those that have died and gone on before are going to be called up out of their graves. And those that are alive and remain are going to be called up to meet them in the air. And I can't wait for that day to come. Which list do you want to be on today? Which name, which list do you want your name on today? Which list do you want your name to be on tomorrow?

[39:37] Which list do you want your name to be on next week? Today, before we leave this place, we need to make sure we come to an altar and we find a place to pray and make sure that our name can be found written in the name in the Lamb's book of life. Amen. Let's do that right now. Let's find a place to pray. Come on. We don't want to leave here today knowing or guessing whether or not our name is written in that book. We want to make sure today before we leave that our name is written in the book of life. Amen.
