[0:00] Amen. Let's thank Jesus for just a few more moments. Come on, let's thank the Lord for a few moments. Thank you, Jesus. Lord, you are...

[0:10] I love you, Jesus. I love you, Jesus. I love you, Jesus. Lord, you are so good. You are so good.

[0:21] Amen, amen. Well, my name's Jude. I'm from Anchorage, Alaska. Not too far from here, you know.

[0:33] I'm a student at the Bible College in Stockton. Let me tell you, I am melting. I am melting. It's so hot in California. But you know what? I love it. I love the sun. It's nice to escape the snow for a few months.

[0:46] Out of the air, I got to go back home to it. But I love home and I love the kingdom of God. I love church. I love the work of God. I love the ministry and I love everything to do with God.

[0:59] Amen. I love the Bible. I love prayer. And I give my life to that. So that's about me. We've met each other. It's a pleasure to meet you. I remember a few names, Brother Mario, Brother Carlos.

[1:12] I remember you guys' names and Brother Jose. Right? Okay. My church, my dad, he pastors a church in Anchorage, Alaska, where I come from. He got that from his dad. His dad pastors that church.

[1:25] And my grandpa, he's from Arkansas. And he moved to Alaska. He was in the military. Sorry, you can be seated. He was in the military and got moved to Alaska.

[1:37] He said he was running from the call of God on his life. And the Lord cornered him in Alaska. And he met my grandma. My grandma brought him to church. And he got saved. And he took the church.

[1:48] And here I am now. So I don't know how many years later. But I love Alaska. What I was trying to say was my dad, he started a few churches in the city working on church plant number four right now.

[2:00] And I just, I love church plants. I love starting new works. And so I love this church plant here, DOJC. Is it Houston? Houston? Houston.

[2:10] I love it. So I wanted to call it Houston. But I feel like I was doing a disjustice to California there. So, amen. Man, I'm going to read from Genesis 1.

[2:21] Y'all don't have to stand. I'm going to read a good amount of Scripture today. But I'm going to read from two portions. Genesis 1, verses 26 and 27.

[2:36] And then also have in your Bibles 1 Peter 1, verse 15 and 16. And we're kind of just going to be jumping through our Scripture today. Letting the Word speak to us.

[2:47] I'm going to be talking to us. I'm going to try to teach. You know, I'm more of a preacher than a teacher. But I'm going to do my best to teach and be obedient to the Holy Ghost. I believe some people are going to get the Holy Ghost today.

[3:00] I believe some lives are going to be changed. When I was entering into the city, I just loved what I felt. There is a liberty to do the mighty work of God in this city. Liberty to grow.

[3:10] And an encouragement in the Spirit to grow. Amen. Genesis 1, verse 26. If you're there, say amen.

[3:22] Amen. The Bible says... I'm sorry. Let's read first Genesis 1 and 1. We'll get to verse 26 later. Let's read the first two verses of Genesis. In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.

[3:36] And the earth was without form and void. And darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

[3:47] And God said, let us... And this is verse 26. Let us make man in our image after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air and over all the cattle and over all the earth.

[4:01] And over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image. In the image God created he, him, male and female.

[4:15] And I'll give us a few moments to turn to 1 Peter. I'll go to 1 Peter chapter 1. And we will read verses 15 and 16. I'm going to turn there with you in my Bible.

[4:27] I, uh... The iPad's nice sometimes. But whenever you forget to put 1 Peter 15, you kind of need to use your Bible for that. So...

[4:37] 1 Peter 1... Verse 15 and 16 says this. Verse 15...

[4:47] Verse 15...

[5:01] So we are going to be jumping all throughout the scriptures today. And going to be obedient to what the Lord wants to do in the service.

[5:13] So you can lay your Bibles down. And I want us all to stand. And I want us to pray. And 1 Timothy chapter 2 and 8 says...

[5:25] Let me try to find that in the scriptures. 1 Timothy 2 and 8 says this. Verse 2 and 8 says... Therefore, Paul is writing to Timothy...

[5:37] That men pray everywhere. Lifting up holy hands. Without wrath and doubting. What Paul is saying here. When you pray, you lift up your hands. And I know we've all been doing this during service.

[5:48] But it's always nice to have scripture for something. And so you don't just think I'm just saying something to get you to do it. But I'm saying it because the Word of God says to do it. So why don't we all raise our hands for just a few moments.

[5:59] And just begin to thank the Lord. Lord, I thank you, Jesus. Begin to love the Lord. Lord, I love you today. I love you, Jesus.

[6:11] Thank you for allowing me to come into the house of God. Thank you for allowing me to come to a place where I can worship your name. Where I can worship your greatness.

[6:23] And Lord, thank you for allowing me to come to a church. That will allow me to hear the Word of God. Thank you, Lord, for all that you are and all that you do.

[6:34] I love you, Jesus. Lord, that our will and our plan for this service walk out those back doors. And that your will become evident for what you want to do today. In Jesus' name we pray.

[6:45] Amen. Amen. Lord bless you. You may be seated. We read in Genesis 1 the creation narrative.

[6:56] And what that symbol of the day is, is just God creating the earth. Things on the earth. Animals. Fish. Birds. Male.

[7:07] Female. Plants. Everything. Above everything we see outside is the work of God. The grass. We see. The mountains. We see. I come from the land of mountains. I have the mountains in my backyard and the ocean in my front yard.

[7:22] And so, Alaska, if you ever want to see truly the greatness of God, you go to Anchorage, Alaska. You go to anywhere in Alaska and you will really see that. And I see it here. I love California because you drive two hours, you're in the snow.

[7:33] You drive two hours, you're in the beach. I live in the desert in Stockton. And you drive a couple hours up north in Eureka and you're in the forest. And so, I love Alaska. It's got all the ecosystems. Or California's got all the ecosystems.

[7:45] But it's what I'm trying to say is that nature around us, it really shows who God is. The Bible teaches us of quite a few ways in which God reveals himself.

[7:57] So, we understand that John 4 and 24 says God is a spirit. And so, we understand that God to be the spirit and his spirit is invisible. We understand that God is invisible.

[8:11] But he manifested himself in Jesus Christ. And so, there is no separation of persons there. But God is Jesus. So, that's one way that God reveals himself unto man, unto his creation.

[8:23] And another way in which God reveals himself is nature. Is his actual creation. We can understand how great God is whenever we look at a tree.

[8:33] And see how that produces oxygen for you and I to breathe in. We can understand the greatness of God whenever we look up at the mountains. And their greatness and their beauty and their splendor. And see how big they are.

[8:44] Only a mighty God, only a great God can create something so big and so mighty. We can look at the vastness of the ocean. We can look at how big it is. What the ocean contains. All the life in the ocean.

[8:55] And we can understand that only a great and mighty God can create such a great and mighty powerful force. I believe it's 70% of the earth is covered in water.

[9:06] And we've only discovered 5% of the ocean. To me, it's crazy. And that just shows us how great our God is. And it may just be me.

[9:17] But I want that great God with me. I want that great God living in me. I want that great God to walk with me. And you'd say, okay, how can a spirit, how can God walk with man?

[9:32] How can God live in man? Well, we understand in Genesis 3 that the Bible says in verse 3 and 8, and the voice of the Lord is walking in the garden.

[9:43] That tells us that God walked with Adam. That tells us that God has a relationship with His creation. That tells us that the reason why you and I are here is so that God can have a relationship with you and I.

[10:03] God can live in you and I. God can live with you and I. God isn't just meant to be the person that we speak to every Sunday, every Wednesday, or every Thursday.

[10:15] We're meant to wake up and be thinking. When I wake up, I'm going to sing of the praises of God. When I wake up, when I rise, you are there. David says in Psalms 139, Lord, if I make my bed in hell, you are there.

[10:28] If I rise up, you are there. Everywhere we go, God is supposed to be living with us, walking with us, speaking to us. And yes, indeed, God does speak to you.

[10:42] But how does God speak to you? You have the Holy Ghost living inside you. The Spirit of God living inside you. And if you don't have the Holy Ghost this evening, right now in this moment, you're going to get the Holy Ghost before you leave.

[10:54] The Holy Ghost is a free gift and it's something that everyone has to have. And it's like this. Whenever you wake up Christmas morning, you go downstairs and you see your name on a gift under the tree.

[11:08] You don't ask for your parents' permission to go open that gift. You go open that gift because it belongs to you. Same thing with the Holy Ghost. You don't have to ask for it. It's ours to be given to us. Amen.

[11:19] So let me actually preach what I want to preach to you today. So the creation narrative. Okay. So the Bible, we understand that God creates the heaven and the earth.

[11:30] Then he creates the land and the sea. Then he creates the sun, the moon, light and day, night and day, sun, moon, stars, air, water, land, water, birds, and fish.

[11:43] So one thing that we understand is that we can see a pattern in Scripture is God will always create two things at once. It's because God was showing us that there is some separation in creation.

[12:00] And here's what I mean by that. To every heaven, there is going to be an earth. To every sun, there is going to be a moon. To every sky, there is going to be water.

[12:11] To every man, there is going to be a woman. To every night, there is going to be a day. To every bird, there is going to be a fish. That is the pattern in which God created. But what I really want to talk about is so God created man and woman.

[12:28] And God created humans to have relationship A with one another, a horizontal relationship, if I can say it that way, and also a vertical relationship.

[12:40] We're going to have a relationship with God, what I alluded to earlier. There is something in each and every single man and woman that desires a relationship with another human being.

[12:52] God created us to have relationship. God created us to have a desire for companionship. God created us to feel lonely if we don't have anyone with us.

[13:03] If we're not bound with anyone. If we're not living or having a relationship with anyone. Because God created us so that we could have relationship.

[13:16] Whether that's with man or woman and with God. We're supposed to have relationship with Jesus Christ. Amen. And we see that just as much as it is biblically ordained.

[13:29] And just as much as we are supposed to have a relationship between man and woman. The Bible says that Adam was lonely. That Adam needed a help me.

[13:39] That Adam needed some support. Adam needed someone to live and to walk with. Adam felt lonely. Yes, he had God. God himself created Adam. God walked with Adam.

[13:51] God knew Adam. And Adam had a relationship with God. But there was still something in him that just felt a little empty. And so God created the only thing suitable for man.

[14:03] And that would be a woman. God put in each and every man a desire for relationship and companionship. But just as you and I here today have that same desire.

[14:19] So does our God in heaven have that desire. Like I read earlier and spoke to earlier. Genesis 3 and 8 and 9 says, And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the cool of the day.

[14:32] And Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of God. From the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden. And the Lord God called them to Adam. And he said, Where art thou?

[14:45] God, this two verses tells us that God and Adam, like I've already said before, had a relationship together. And whenever Adam did not show up to the regular meeting place, God was curious.

[14:59] He didn't know where Adam was at. And he asked. Of course he knew where Adam was at. He knows all things. But God, he was asking Adam, where are you? Adam, I'm here. I've come down.

[15:10] I've positioned myself to be in communion with you. I've positioned myself to talk with you. I've positioned myself to have a conversation. Adam, I am the creator of the universe. But I want a relationship with my creation.

[15:23] Where are you? Our creator has this very same desire for relationship. It's not just you and I that have a desire for relationship with our creator, with a man or a woman.

[15:39] God himself, Jesus Christ, has that same desire for relationship with us. Let's think about it. Why else would we be here today?

[15:51] God doesn't need us. God didn't need to create anything. He is the master of the universe. He didn't need to create anything. He needs nothing. But he created creatures.

[16:02] He created man and woman with free will so that we could choose to have relationship with him. That should tell us how much our God in heaven desires to have relationship with you and I.

[16:16] When we read in Genesis 1 and 26, the Bible says, let us make man in our image. And obviously we understand the Bible was not written in English, but the Bible was written in a few different languages.

[16:33] That word make, it obviously, it means to create. It means to build. It means to form and to put together. But the interesting thing, the really cool thing that I find here about that word make, it doesn't just mean to create or to build up.

[16:53] But it has personal connotations. That word, there's a few words in languages, there's a few words in the Hebrew that would mean create or to build up.

[17:09] But this specific word means to create personally. To create intimately. To create with intention. God created man and woman.

[17:20] God created human beings personally. That's why he said, let me make man in my image. That's why he said, let me make man in my likeness. God created you and I very personally.

[17:35] He intricately, he put you and I together. He formed us together. He put our bones together. He put the muscles on those bones. God formed you and I very personally and intimately.

[17:50] And there is something in us. We have that desire for relationship that only God can fill. And so whenever the fall happened, whenever we read out Adam and Eve ate of the fruit and they sinned and their eyes were opened.

[18:06] And the result of this fall was that we now have a sin nature. That we now, our first desire is to commit sin.

[18:17] Our first desire is to do wrong. And this is why some areas in our life fall apart. This is why we can't seem to have a stable, healthy relationship.

[18:30] This is why we cannot seem to have our lives put together. This is why we have the anxiety. This is why we have depression. This is why we have sadness. Because thousands and thousands and thousands of years ago, man and woman sinned in the garden.

[18:47] Ruining the perfect creation of man and woman. Making us born with the sin nature. That is the result of the fall. And so when Jesus said to Nicodemus in John 3 that you must be born again, Nicodemus was slightly confused.

[19:11] Because he said, how can a man be born again? This is John 3 and 3 through 5. Jesus is telling a ruler of the Jews. Jesus is telling a priest here.

[19:21] That in order to enter the kingdom of heaven, let alone to see the kingdom of heaven. You must be born again of water and the spirit. And so what I want to really preach to you today is that even though we fell long many years ago.

[19:41] And even though we have a sin nature here today. And even though that we are prone to commit sin. And even though our flesh, even though our mind and our thoughts can be evil and wicked.

[19:55] And even though we wake up in the morning wanting to commit sin. Even though we wake up in the morning and we don't understand why our life is falling apart. Even though we wake up in the morning and we don't want to pursue a relationship with God.

[20:10] The answer is this. Nicodemus, you must be born again. Because what does being born again mean? It means a new creature is born.

[20:26] That's why Paul said whenever you're baptized. Whenever you're born again. You are a new creature in Christ Jesus. And yes, you will still have flesh.

[20:38] Yes, you will still have sinful desires. But you're a new creature in Christ Jesus. And you're not bound by those sinful desires. So Paul said this.

[20:49] And I believe it's 2 Corinthians 5 and 16. Wherefore, henceforth, know we no man after the flesh.

[21:00] Though we have known Christ after the flesh. Yet now we know Him no more in the flesh. Therefore, if any man be in Christ.

[21:11] Here it is. He is a new creature. Old things are passed away. Behold, all things are become new.

[21:22] Paul is saying even though you and I, we had that sin nature when we were born. There is a possibility to become a new creature. There is a possibility to wash all those old sins away.

[21:36] There is a possibility to get all those old sins behind you. And to walk in newness of life with Jesus Christ. There is a possibility to leave what you're embarrassed of.

[21:47] What you're ashamed of behind you. And right here at the altar. And you can get up, brush the dust off your knees, and walk in a new day. Pursuing relationship with Jesus Christ.

[22:00] And that is why you and I are here. The moment we are born again in Christ Jesus. Through the water and through the Spirit.

[22:10] Like Jesus told Nicodemus in John 3. Is that very same moment in which we become a new creature. It's that moment whenever we then have power over our flesh.

[22:25] It's that moment whenever we have power over those wrong desires. It's that moment whenever we can hold our tongue and not say those hurtful things. It's that moment whenever we can be tempted with this or with that.

[22:37] And say no to that. The moment you and I are born again is the same moment in which we have liberty. It's that same moment in which joy is freely given.

[22:50] The Bible says the joy of the Lord is my strength. Some of us in here today are lacking strength. Some of us in here today just don't know why life is going on the way it is.

[23:03] Some of us today are just, it seems like we're so weak and you're just barely getting along in life. You're just barely taking each new step. But the Bible says the joy of the Lord is my strength.

[23:17] And the Bible also says in His presence there is fullness of joy. Whenever we are born again through the water and through the Spirit. And we are a new creature in Christ Jesus.

[23:29] Like the Bible says, like I just read to you. It is that same moment when the joy of the Lord is freely accessible. It is that same moment whenever we can wake up. And the fog is gone and the fog is lifted.

[23:42] And we can wake up and walk in a new day with happiness. And with joy and have a relationship with God. It's that same moment whenever we can walk with the Lord.

[23:55] Like we were intended to walk with the Lord. And so what I was saying earlier about the separation in creation.

[24:06] How to every day there is a night. How to every sun there is a moon. How to every bird there is a fish. To every sky there is a water.

[24:17] To every heaven there is an earth. Because in creation, whenever God creates something new. Separation then comes with that which was old.

[24:30] Okay, so what do I mean? The Bible says, therefore of any man being Christ. He is a new creature. All things are passed away. Behold, all things are become new.

[24:44] That moment when you decide to be born again. That moment when you are born again. You are a new creature. And those things that were old. They stay old.

[24:55] And we don't pick up those old sins. We don't pick up those old weights. We don't pick up those old relationships. We don't pick up those old habits. They stay old. Because whenever God creates something new in your life.

[25:09] Whenever God puts a new conviction in your life. Whenever you start feeling bad for doing a certain action. Whenever you start feeling bad for something random.

[25:19] That's the conviction of the Lord. Whenever God places conviction in your life. Whenever you go somewhere and you just feel like icky.

[25:30] And you just feel yucky. That's the conviction of the Lord. Whenever God places new conviction in your life. That's a new thing. That's the creation of a new conviction.

[25:40] That's the creation of a new standard of holiness in your life. And that which was old stays old. That tells us there is separation in creation.

[25:52] And so whenever we become like Jesus. And we have the spirit of Jesus living inside us. And we are a new creature in Jesus Christ. The old man.

[26:02] It stays behind me. I don't want to remember Jude. I don't want to remember me before I met Jesus. I'm ashamed of what I've done. I'm embarrassed of what I've done.

[26:14] But thank God. I am a new creature. Born of the spirit. And born of the water. And I can look forward. I can look forward. And press on.

[26:24] And live a life of joy. Live a life of happiness and peace. Because that's what happens. Whenever you become a new creature in Christ. Jesus. You separate yourself from that which is old.

[26:39] From that which is of the world. You separate yourself from sin. And from iniquity. And things which seem to be falling apart are mended.

[26:52] The reason why some relationships in our lives are just falling apart. Is because we're not handling it the way the Lord would handle it. I love you. The reason why some relationships in our life need mending.

[27:06] Is because we're not handling it and walking in the ways of the Lord. Because we're not a new creature. In Christ Jesus. Because you and I will try to handle things.

[27:17] We'll respond with man's thinking. With that same sin nature. The Bible says. That whenever temptation.

[27:31] Is conceived. Whenever temptation manifests. It becomes sin. And whenever there is sin. There is death. You and I. All things we do before Jesus.

[27:43] Sin. And so you and I will handle situations. You and I will respond in conversations. The way that I the man Jude would.

[27:55] Instead of the way Jesus would. And that is why there are some relationships in our life that need mending. That need help.

[28:06] That need fixing. Because we're not handling them the way that the Lord would. And that is why we become a new creature. Because the moment. That you and I are born again.

[28:18] And are a new creature in Christ Jesus. Is when the Lord comes and lives inside us. And comes out through us. That's why people can say about you.

[28:29] You're so different. But it's so good. You're humble now. You're peaceful now. What's different about you? It's the Lord working through you.

[28:40] It's the Lord manifesting himself through you. It's the Lord shining through you. Because you and I are a new creature in Christ Jesus.

[28:52] That desire for relationship with a man or with a woman. The desire for relationship with human being. It will fall apart because we're not a new creature.

[29:03] And we will live the rest of our lives lonely if we don't have Jesus with us. That's why we've got to have the Lord God Almighty living inside us. How do we do this?

[29:15] If we become a new creature in Christ Jesus. How do we stay that new creature in Christ Jesus? How do we not turn away?

[29:26] How do we not turn back rather. To that which we're supposed to separate ourselves from. You've got to live a life pleasing unto the Lord.

[29:37] Like the verse I read. Be ye holy for I am holy. God I want to live a life that is pleasing unto you. I want to hold my tongue when I need to hold my tongue. I want to have godly character.

[29:50] I want to have Christ like character. I want to have a loving heart. I want to be holy because Lord you are holy. I want to live righteously because you live righteously.

[30:01] I want to live just because you live justly Lord. Lord I want to live purely. I want to live a pure lifestyle and abstain from some things because you are pure.

[30:11] The essence of God's nature is purity and holiness. That's why the Bible says the angels cry in heaven holy holy holy is the Lord God almighty.

[30:22] The essence of who God is is holiness and purity. And so when his creature when his creature and his new creation is living holy and pure unto the Lord.

[30:36] A life given unto the Lord. It's welcoming. It's that's the moment when we open the door and the Lord can walk in and live with us. That's the moment when we open the door and the Lord can walk in the presence of the Lord will then rest upon our home.

[30:50] That's the moment we can open the door and the peace of God will rest in our home and we'll be able to get a full night's rest. That's the moment when we open the door and the love of the Lord will rest in our home and we'll walk in the house and everything will seem perfect.

[31:05] because the Lord has welcomed Himself. We welcome the Lord into our home. We've got to live a pure and a holy life pleasing unto God so the Lord can live with us and reside among us and live in us.

[31:21] This is why we be holy. Holy is an expression of obedience. Yes, it's an act of separation and living away from what we used to be.

[31:35] But you have to be holy and set apart unto something. Holiness is walking in purity. But what really holiness and purity is is doing our best to mirror who God is.

[31:48] Doing our best to mirror who Jesus is. So the Lord created us with this desire for relationship.

[31:59] He created us for companionship. Companionship with other men and other women. Companionship with other humans. But more importantly, companionship with Him.

[32:11] God created us in His image because He wanted us to be like Him. God created us in His likeness because He wants us to look and be like Him.

[32:24] The Bible says, Ye are the light of the world. A city set on a hill. A light that cannot be here. What does that mean? We're not actually on a hill.

[32:36] We're not actually living higher than others. But what that is, is we are men and women walking with joy. Walking with love.

[32:46] Walking with peace. Something the world does not have. Because we are born again in Christ Jesus and we have the Spirit of God living in us. We are born again by the water.

[32:58] Baptism in Jesus' name. And we are filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost with the speaking in other tongues. We are born again a new creature in Christ Jesus and we can walk into the workplace.

[33:09] And peace can be in the workplace. When I was working in Alaska before college, I worked construction. And I was talking to my boss someday and I said, I said, DJ, I said, you're the number one construction company all of Alaska now.

[33:25] And you're still a new company. How did this happen? He said, Jude, do you really want to know? I said, well, yeah. That's why I asked you. And then he said this. He said, Jude, I figured out one little secret.

[33:37] I hired the people from your church. My business is blessed. He said that to me. That sparked something in me. The reason why the business I worked for in Alaska was blessed because I started off right here.

[33:51] I started off sinful. I got on my knees on an altar. I was filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. I was baptized in the name of Jesus and that allowed me to become a new creature.

[34:04] And the old Jude stayed in that water. The old Jude stayed on the altar. The old sinful ways stayed on the altar. I separated myself at the point of creation. I separated myself from the past ways and I began to walk as the Lord Jesus would walk.

[34:20] I began to walk holy. I began to walk just. I began to walk righteously and purely. And that in result made me live a life that resembled Christ.

[34:33] That in result made me live a life that everywhere I'd go, things would be blessed. That's why my boss said the reason why my business is blessed is because I hired you and your church people. We are a light of the world.

[34:46] But the only way to do that is to become a new creature. And so I've been teaching and preaching for 34 minutes now and I want us all to stand. And the purpose and the point of what I felt the Lord had given me to speak into today is that God has called us to be a new creature and God has called us to live set apart unto Him, to live holy unto Him, to have inward holiness.

[35:20] The Bible said, Jesus said in Matthew 5, it's either Matthew 5 or Matthew 15, that it's not what goes into a man that defiles him, but it's what comes out of a man that defiles him.

[35:36] And that tells us that what's inside me is what makes me clean and pure. It makes me have the ability to live righteously and holy unto God.

[35:47] Whatever is inside you now, whatever we are like behind closed doors, whatever we do when no one else is there, when no one else is watching, it is going to determine whether or not I'm living a life really holy and pleasing unto God.

[36:00] But the only way to get there is by being born again of the water and of the Spirit. And so here's the first thing I want to do. And everyone in here may have the Holy Ghost.

[36:11] Everyone in here may not have the Holy Ghost. We'd probably have a problem if that was the case. But if there is one person, two people, or anyone in here that does not have the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, I believe the Lord is going to fill you right here and right now.

[36:31] And I want you to come forward and we're going to pray for you. And so it's okay. It's not something to be ashamed or embarrassed. But I didn't have the Holy Ghost at one point in my life.

[36:42] Pastor didn't have the Holy Ghost at one point in his life. It's just the way we're made. It's something that we have to get. It's a free gift. The Bible says in Acts 19, we all know who Paul is, right?

[36:55] We all know who Paul is. The Bible says in Acts 19, Paul comes across some followers of John the Baptist. And again, we all know who John the Baptist was.

[37:07] Mighty man of God that made the way and paved the way for Jesus to come. He came across some followers of John. And he said, he said unto them, Acts 19 verse 2, have you received the Holy Ghost since you started believing?

[37:25] And the followers of John said unto him, we have not so much as even heard whether there be a Holy Ghost. Then Paul replied, and he said unto them, unto what then were you baptized?

[37:37] And they said, unto John's baptism. Acts 19 and 4 verse 4 says, then Paul said, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto them that they should believe on him which should come after him that is on Christ Jesus.

[37:52] and when they heard this, the Bible says, they are baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them and they spake with tongues.

[38:07] The most, one of the most, Jesus said about John the Baptist, there is no greater prophet in all of Israel. Jesus said that John the Baptist was one of the greatest men to ever live, to ever walk on the earth.

[38:20] And his very own disciples didn't have the Holy Ghost. Think about that. His very own disciples weren't baptized in the name of Jesus. If it was okay for them, then I'm sure it's okay for us at one point to not be baptized to have the Holy Ghost.

[38:37] And so if any of us do not have the Holy Ghost in this place, or here's what we'll do. I want us all to come forward. I want us all to make way to be in the altar.

[38:49] We're all going to have a collective time of prayer because we all need to pray. I, Jude, need to pray this word that I preach that the Lord gave me and that the Lord gave you today.

[39:01] I need to pray it in me. I need to make sure that I'm living the way I need to live. I need to make sure every day I'm waking up and pursuing a relationship with Jesus Christ. But the first thing I want to do is there anyone in here that does not have the Holy Ghost with the evidence speaking of the tongues?

[39:17] And it's okay to raise your hand. It's okay. It's not really. But it's okay to raise your hand. We have one. Are you the only one, my friend Mario? Carlos, do you have the Holy Ghost? Have you spoken to other tongues before?

[39:30] Then you're going to speak in other tongues today. That's okay. And so we're going to pray for Mario and Carlos. And as Pastor and I are praying for Mario and Brother Carlos, I want us all to pray what I preach today.

[39:41] That's all we've got to do is just pray what I preach today. And I want us to say, Lord, let me walk with you. Lord, let me live with you. Just pray a prayer that says, Jesus, I love you.

[39:53] Jesus, I thank you. Jesus, I want to have relationship with you. Just pray what I've been preaching to you today. Pray and say, Lord, let this word get in my spirit.

[40:05] Lord, let me live a life holy and righteous and pleasing unto you. And we'll have a song to be sang. And as we're praying, we'll have the singers sing and the piano playing and just be praying that.

[40:19] And so, amen. Why don't we pray for a few more moments?
