The 7 Trumpets
The 7 Vials of God's Wrath
[0:00] But these last days and the last trump is what we're talking about this week in the subjects that we are studying. They're deep. They're rich in imagery and symbolism, but full of meaning and purpose.
[0:14] And so we're trying to extrapolate. Is that the word? As much information as we can out of that imagery and out of that symbolism.
[0:26] It's so rich in it and and just trying to get that meaning and a purpose behind these things. So we have a good understanding. I do believe that God putting it in his word.
[0:37] The Bible teaches that these last days prophecies with imagery and symbols so that when we're in the last days, we should be able to look around and associate those things that we see happening in the world with what we see in the Bible.
[0:55] OK, and we can speculate on the exact meanings of symbols, but we do have to remember it is speculation. It may not be exact when we learn of the seven seals.
[1:09] And I showed you the likeness of the the four powers that are ruling the earth and being prepared by God through the four seals that were opened. The primary thing we have to understand is that it is speculative to a certain degree.
[1:25] The second thing we need to understand is, although it is speculative and may not be exact, it is likely or very similar. OK, if it's not those things that we point out, then it's something that's going to be like that or very similar to that.
[1:41] OK, the best method for us to study and the scripture is to begin with prayer, as we did today, asking God to open our understanding to his word.
[1:52] We should always anytime we have your your personal devotions, you should always pray that God would open your understanding. Psalm 119, 18 says, open thou mine under my eyes that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.
[2:05] The word of God has a lot of wonderful things in there. And the more that we can understand it, the more we get to participate in those wonderful things.
[2:17] So after praying, we need to read the scripture directly and let the word of God speak for itself to us. And we should read it out loud. Try reading it out loud so you're actually hearing yourself read it and it helps us understand it.
[2:32] And as we read the prophecies of Revelation, we have to remember that we are promised a blessing for reading, hearing and keeping the words and revelation. When we studied last week, we talked about how there's a there's a double blessing.
[2:49] There's a double blessing. There's a promise at the beginning and the end of Revelation, the book of Revelation, that if we would read it, understand it and apply it and keep the words that are in the book, that we would be blessed.
[3:02] And it's a promise in the beginning of the book and a promise at the end of the book. And it's like these book stands for this one book holding in place this book with promises of blessing.
[3:16] If we would study it, understand it and apply it to our lives. We're going to jump into the seven trumpets. OK, so after God reveals the seven seals to John, he then reveals to John the seven trumpets.
[3:30] In the Bible, you all throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, you can find trumpets and they're significant and they're throughout the Bible.
[3:41] And God commanded the Israelites to use trumpets at different times throughout Scripture. Trumpets were used to communicate, to praise and worship. They were used as a weapon in battles.
[3:55] And I mean, they didn't take take them physically and hit people with them, but they would blow trumpets and at the at God's command and things would happen like the walls of Jericho would fall.
[4:07] Right. And so in Exodus on Mount Sinai is when God was speaking to Moses, the Bible says it was as though there were a great trumpet, a great loud trumpet that got louder and louder.
[4:19] In Numbers, we see God give instruction to use trumpets to gather together the assembly of Israelites together. Different blasts on a trumpet had different meanings. One blast means this.
[4:32] Two blasts means that. So the blasts have different had different meanings for them that they understood is how they communicated and organized. And then also we know how God used the priest to blow seven trumpets on the seventh day to get the walls of Jericho to fall.
[4:51] And they did and won a great victory. So trumpets are significant in the word of God. The seven trumpets of Revelation is the beginning of God's judgment on the earth.
[5:02] And it is to announce his return is near and there are calls to repent. And once the trumpets start sounding, the return of Jesus is close.
[5:16] Let's look at the first scripture I have for you today. First Thessalonians chapter four, verse 16 and 17. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trump of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first.
[5:38] Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so shall we ever be with the Lord. So for your notes, Jesus is going to return at a trump.
[5:53] And at that trump is the resurrection and the rapture of the church. So the same trump or trump that Jesus returns, at that trump is the resurrection and the rapture of the church.
[6:08] And at that trump, and the scripture says, at that trump we will be with Jesus forever. Okay. So first Thessalonians 4, 16, 17 is an amazing scripture.
[6:22] That gets me a little excited. First Corinthians chapter 15, verse 52 and 53. It says, In a moment in the twinkling of an eye at the last trump, for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
[6:44] For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. Okay. So for notes for 1 Corinthians 15, 52 and 53, the resurrection and rapture happens at the last trump.
[7:02] So we got another clue about the trump that the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with that shout and with the voice of the archangel and with the trump of God.
[7:12] It's the last trump. And secondly, we're going to be transformed from mortal to immortal. We're going to, if your death is going to be raised, or I'm sorry, your corruptible is going to be raised into incorruptible, we're going to be changed.
[7:34] Remember, in the twinkling of an eye. In the twinkling of an eye, it's going to be, it's going to happen in a twinkling of an eye. It's going to happen instantly. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
[7:50] Amen. That's good scripture right there. That's a good promise. Definitely a promise I want to be a part of. Amen. Let's look at, I got three scriptures here.
[8:01] Matthew 22 and 30, Mark 12 and 25, and Luke 20 and 36. First one, Matthew 22 and 34. For in the resurrection, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.
[8:16] So at that resurrection, once we are, once that last trump sounds, once that last trump sounds, we're going to be changed in an instant.
[8:28] In the twinkling of an eye, we're going to become immortal. And things are going to change. We're not going to be marrying or giving in marriage.
[8:38] We're not going to be married, but we're going to be as the angels of God in heaven. That's Jesus speaking in Matthew 22, 30. Mark 12, 25. For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels which are in heaven.
[8:53] So second verse saying pretty much the same thing. Luke 20 and 36. Neither can they die anymore, for they are equal unto the angels and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.
[9:08] So if you're born again, when you die, that you have that spirit of Christ in you, and you'll be raised incorruptible in that first resurrection.
[9:22] And you'll be counted as the children of the resurrection. Okay, and for your notes, we're not going to be marrying or be married. We're going to be like and equal to the angels in heaven, and we will never die.
[9:38] So at that last trump, resurrection, rapture, things are going to change. The last trumpet is going to be an amazing experience for those that have the Holy Ghost and do not take the mark of the beast.
[9:52] Whether you've been persecuted or executed for not taking the mark during those last days, or you've passed before into the grave with Christ in you, then you will be raised at that last trumpet.
[10:13] Okay, let's look at the and try to understand the seven trumpets in Revelation and what is going on leading up to that great and final seventh trumpet. Okay, so we can find the trumpets in Revelation chapter 8 through chapter 11.
[10:31] Let's go to Revelation chapter 8 verse 6. We're going to read about the first trumpet. Verses 6 and 7 in Revelation chapter 8. And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
[10:44] You've got to remember where we ended last week was with the seven seals. The book with the seals and the worthy Lamb of God was the only one found worthy to open the seals of the book and to begin to reveal the things that are in the book to us and have it available to us to understand.
[11:09] So the seven seals were being revealed and the last of the seals are understanding. You can look at these almost as chapters in the book along with the story of the end time that's going to take place.
[11:21] It was revealed in that last seal that there was seven angels that were given trumpets. Okay, so that's where we ended last week. So this first verse in Revelation 8, 6 and 7.
[11:33] And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. The first angels sounded and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood. And they were cast upon the earth and the third part of the trees was burnt up and all green grass was burnt up.
[11:51] And one thing I want to say about that when it says hail, it's not snow. It's not ice. It's not ice. When you study that, it's actually stones. Okay, it's like a rock.
[12:03] Okay, so there's hail, rocks, and fire mingled with blood, it says. And they were cast upon the earth and the third part of the trees was burnt up and all the green grass was burnt up.
[12:16] Okay, so the things that we need to understand about these trumpets, including this first trumpet, but it's all the trumpets. The trumpets occur during the tribulation. It's going to be during the last three and a half years is when the trumpets start sounding.
[12:33] The trumpets are, you're going to find that the trumpets sound similar. The judgments of God, we've seen them before the Bible back in Genesis leading to Exodus when God uses Moses to deliver the wolf out of Egypt.
[12:52] And he uses these plagues to convince the Egyptians to let these people go. And we're going to see a lot of similarities.
[13:04] But the thing to think about and understand is that when God was giving these plagues to Egypt, it was specifically for the Arab people to mention these plagues.
[13:18] Now, in the last days with the trumpets, it's going to be worldwide. Okay? But I will say that also the third note there involves only one-third of the earth, indicating that God is restraining himself from suffering in the beginning of this judgment.
[13:38] And the whole purpose of these trumpets is to bring people to repentance. So God starts judging the earth in the last three and a half years, the tribulation. Yes, judgment to an extent, but also to bring people to repentance.
[13:53] And so it's only affecting one-third of the earth. So God's restrained in his attempt here.
[14:07] We're going to find out in the vials that it's called the seven vials of the wrath of God because it won't be a third anymore. It's going to be the whole earth affected. So we see the plagues in Egypt affecting just Egypt.
[14:19] And now here in the end times, we're going to see the trumpets affecting one-third of the earth. And then when we get to the seven seals, we're going to see that this, I'm sorry, the seven vials of God's wrath, we're going to see that it's going to affect the whole earth.
[14:35] So it's like this expansion. Okay? But in the first trumpet, one-third of the land is affected. So it's focused on the land. It's going to affect one-third part of the trees and the grass.
[14:51] Okay? The second trumpet, Revelation 8, 8 and 9. And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire, was cast into the sea.
[15:02] And the third part of the sea became blood. And the third part of creatures which were in the sea and had life died. And the third part of the ships were destroyed.
[15:15] So there's judgment on the sea. One-third of the sea is affected. The ocean, you know, I'm not a scientist. I don't have a full understanding of this.
[15:27] But the ocean affects a lot of things on the earth. And for something major to change in the ocean would affect a lot of different things. When one-third of the sea is affected, it's going to be a catastrophe.
[15:39] But it's still, it's a restrained version of, will come with the full wrath of God that we find in the seven vials. So the first trumpet affects the grass and the trees.
[15:52] The second trumpet is going to be affecting the sea. And then the third trumpet we find in Revelation 8, 10 through 11. And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp.
[16:09] And it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters. And the name of the star is called Wormwood. And the third part of the waters became Wormwood.
[16:22] And many men died of the waters because they were made bitter. Okay, so now we have the first trumpet affecting the land, the second trumpet affecting the sea, and the third trumpet affects one-third of the fresh water supply on earth.
[16:39] And it's going to be caused to be bitter and poisonous, and people will die as a result. There won't be one-third of our fresh water supply is going to be affected.
[16:54] Still, people don't repent. And the fourth trumpet found in Revelation 8 and 12, 13. And the fourth angel sounded, and a third part of the sun was smitten, and a third part of the moon, and a third part of the stars.
[17:12] So as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise. And I beheld and heard an angel flying through the midst of the heavens, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabitants of the earth, by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound.
[17:37] Okay, so this is interesting. We find that a third part of the sun, moon, and stars, is going to be smitten, and they're not going to produce as much light.
[17:51] They're going to be a third less bright. It's going to be, the day's going to be darkened. The night's going to be darkened by a third. So darkness is coming.
[18:05] Okay, less light, a third less light shining on the earth. The earth becomes darker. And then there's a little warning here. It says, And I beheld and heard an angel flying through the midst of the heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, three woes, to the inhabitants of the earth, by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound.
[18:29] So the next trumpet are going to also be woes. Okay, Luke 21, 25, and 26. It's interesting. It says, This is Jesus talking about the end times.
[18:43] It says, And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars, and upon the earth, distress of nations with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring, men's heart failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
[19:01] So Jesus confirmed that all of nature, I mean, His creation, He created it. He has power over it, and He's going to use it to hopefully bring people to repentance.
[19:17] Okay? So the fifth trumpet, Revelation 9, chapter 9, verse 1. And you see it. All these trumpets are going pretty fast, and they're easy, somewhat easy to explain.
[19:32] We can't maybe understand how this is going to be. What is the world going to be like in this time? But they're one or two verses each, and they're kind of easy to understand about what potentially is going to, what is going to be happening, and in our minds, we're trying to understand how that's going to be.
[19:49] But here in the fifth trumpet, remember the angel warned about three woes for the last three trumpets. We see an expansion of Scripture used to explain it.
[20:01] It's 12 verses. So let's read the first verse in Revelation 9, verse 1. And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth, and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.
[20:15] And he opened the bottomless pit, and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace. And the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.
[20:29] And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth, and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree, but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
[20:52] We've already learned that the seal of God is the Holy Ghost. So they're only to hurt those without the Holy Ghost. And to them it was given that they should not kill them.
[21:06] So the people without the Holy Ghost, their focus is going to be on them, and they're not going to kill them, but that they should be tormented five months. And their torment was as the torment of a scorpion when he striketh a man.
[21:22] Verse 6, And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it, and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them. And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle, and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men, and they had hair as the hair of a woman, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions, and they had breastplates as it were breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle, and they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails, and their power was to hurt men five months.
[22:09] And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.
[22:20] Verse 12, One woe is past, and behold, there come two woes more thereafter. So this fifth trumpet releases a demonic army to torment those that don't have the Holy Ghost.
[22:33] They're not going to kill them. They're not going to let them die. They're going to wish they could die because the torment's going to be so bad, and they're going to torment them for five months, and Scripture calls this the first of three woes.
[22:47] And just out of curiosity, couldn't help myself, I asked AI to create an image, a little video of Revelation 9, 1 through 12.
[23:05] I gave it the descriptions. I said, out of a bottomless pit, there is smoke rising out of the pit like a great furnace, and I said the sky is darkened because of the smoke, and locusts come up out of the pit, and they're given power like scorpions.
[23:24] I gave all the descriptions of this, what we just read, and it says that they were in the shape of locusts like unto horses prepared unto battle.
[23:37] Heads had crowns on them, faces like faces of men, hair like women, and teeth like the teeth of lions with breastplates of iron, the sound of their wings as the chariot, so they have wings, like many horses running to battle, and they had tails like scorpions.
[23:54] So let's see what AI gave us of what this looks like, and maybe what John saw in his vision. So this is a demonic army that's, now we're probably not going to see this physically, because this is in a spiritual realm, but this is potentially what these demonic spirits are like that are going to be tormenting people without the Holy Ghost.
[24:18] I mean, I don't know, it has, it's just AI, but it did a pretty good job. I was like, oh my goodness. I guess if there's such a thing of a demonic spirit, it matches the description.
[24:30] Let's look at the sixth trumpet. This is found in Revelation 9, 13 through 21. And the six angels sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar, which is before God, saying to the sixth angel, which had the trumpet, loose the four angels, which are bound in the great river Ephrates.
[24:51] Okay, so I'm going to pause here for a second and just say that we learned about the four horsemen, winds, or spirits last week, and we understand that these are the four great powers of the earth right now.
[25:08] And they're being held back by these angels. So there's four angels, there's an angel holding these spirits back. And God is preparing the four powers that we talked about last week.
[25:23] God's preparing the four powers that we talked about last week for this end time. So it's all in preparation for this. And there's angels holding them back right now. The reason why we don't have World War III is because God's holding back World War III.
[25:36] It's not because men are so good and smart. If it was left up to us, we've probably destroyed ourselves already. Okay? But they're being held back.
[25:47] And this is saying that, saying to the sixth angel, which had the trumpet, loose the four angels, which are bound in the great river Ephrates. And the four angels were loose, which were prepared for an hour and a day and a month and a year for to slay a third part of men.
[26:04] And the number of the army of the horsemen were 200,000, 1,000. And I heard the number of them. And thus I saw the horses in the vision and them that sat on them, having breastplaced of fire and of jasonith and brimstone.
[26:18] And the heads of horses were as the heads of lions. And out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone. By these three was the third part of men killed by the fire and by the smoke and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.
[26:33] For their power is in their mouths and in their tails. For their tails were like unto serpents and had heads with them that do hurt. And the rest of the men, which were not killed by these plagues, yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils and idols of gold and silver and brass and stone and of wood, which neither can see nor hear nor walk.
[26:56] Verse 21, neither repented they of their murders or their sorceries, nor their fornication, nor their thefts. Okay, so World War III is going to happen. And then the, I want to point out, it says, and that it was, they were prepared for a day, a month, a year, an hour, a day, a month, and a year, slayed the third part of men.
[27:21] This is, what this means is this is a specific time appointed that God is preparing those four powers that we talked about last week, the four winds, to, for a specific time, it's going to be released in a specific moment.
[27:38] Okay, and one third of mankind is going to die, it's going to be a World War III, probably a nuclear war. And, as it says, they're mostly going to be killed by the fire, brimstone, and smoke.
[27:50] And it's, this is the second of the three woes. And still, no repentance, no mass repentance. Okay, the seventh trumpet, Revelation chapter 11, verse 15 through 19.
[28:05] And the seventh angel sounded and there were great voices in heaven saying, the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of the Lord and of his Christ and he shall reign forever and ever.
[28:16] And the four and twenty elders which sat before God on their seats fell upon their faces and worshiped God saying, we give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art and which was and art to come because thou hast taken to thee thy great power and hast reigned.
[28:32] And the nations were angry and thy wrath is come in the time of the dead that they should be judged and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants, the prophets, and to the saints of them that fear thy name, small and great, and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
[28:53] And the temple of God was open in heaven and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament. And there were lightnings and voices and thunderings and earthquakes and great hail.
[29:04] Okay? So the seventh trumpet is gonna sound and I put the notes in for you because it's, there's quite a few of them.
[29:18] This happened at the seventh seal that we learned about last week. It happened that at the seventh trumpet the seventh vial of God's wrath has been poured out. And so there's this culmination happening of the seventh seal, the seventh trumpet, and the seventh vial of God's wrath all hitting at the same time.
[29:38] The very, it's called, why it's called the great day of the Lord. And he's finishing off the judgment of the ungodly. Okay? And this is the third of the three woes. Okay?
[29:49] And this, because you're gonna see that by this time all the seven vials of God's wrath have been completed, the seven trumpets are completed. And that's what this is happening here.
[30:01] And then you got the seven vials of God's wrath began on those that took the mark of the beast, the resurrection, rapture of the church. We meet him in the air, we come back in the second coming. It's called the Lord's day, the great day of the Lord.
[30:14] Then we're gonna see the destruction of the beast and the false prophet, the binding of the devil, and then the setup of the millennial kingdom. It's all gonna happen at the seventh trumpet. Okay?
[30:25] And your notes are already provided in there for you because there were so many. So these trumpets, they're gonna take place in the last days. And they're gonna, leading up to the seventh trumpet, they're gonna affect one third of the earth and mankind, which is very severe and devastating, but it's actually God showing long suffering because he's only affecting one third of the earth.
[30:49] It is restraint, trying one last time to get people to repent and turn to him. And following the trumpets will come the seven vials of God's wrath, which will be the fullness of his judgment, unrestrained judgment.
[31:05] Okay? So that's what we're gonna jump into next is the seven vials of God's wrath. Let's look in Revelation chapter 15, verse 1. Okay? And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, seven angels having the seven last plagues.
[31:22] for in them is filled up the wrath of God. The seven vials of God's wrath are coming judgments and wrath of God against those that take the mark of the beast, have rejected God, have rejected the trumpets, the warnings, the calls to repentance.
[31:42] They've rejected the word of God. They've rejected truth. And these are the final and complete outpourings of God's righteous wrath on those that take the mark and worship the image of the beast.
[31:54] Okay? And the seven vials are the seven last plagues. Like the scripture says, for in them is filled up the wrath of God. Okay? There's no more holding back. It's not gonna just put this on the select few or the third.
[32:09] The whole earth is gonna be affected. Every single person. Okay? And it's all happening on the ungodly in the last days. Let's look at the first vial.
[32:21] Okay? And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
[32:33] Okay? So, I don't know if this is sequential as the Bible reveals them because it says he tells all seven of them, Go your ways and pour out the vials of wrath of God upon the earth.
[32:48] So, it could be all happening. This could all be happening at the same time. So, we don't necessarily have to say it's gonna be like this that, you know, in order. It could be all happening at the same time. Okay? But the first vial. And the first went and poured out his vial upon the earth and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast and upon them which worshipped his image.
[33:10] A noisome when you study out a noisome and grievous in the King James Old English and it comes back that it's an open wound that won't heal.
[33:20] It's smelly and painful. Okay? And it's gonna be on those that took the mark of the beast. That's the first vial of God's wrath. Okay? The second vial Revelation chapter 16 verse 3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea and it became as the blood of dead men and every living soul died in the sea.
[33:41] So no more one third. The whole sea is turned into curdled blood. Okay? Curdled blood is basically the blood of a dead man and everything that's in the sea is gonna die which is interesting if you understand about heaven there's no ocean.
[34:03] Okay? It's never gonna recover. The third vial of God's wrath found in Revelation chapter 16 verse 4 through 7 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters and they became blood and I heard the angel of the waters say Thou art righteous O Lord which art and was and shall be because thou hast judged thus for they have shed the blood of saints and prophets and thou hast given them blood to drink for they are worthy and I heard another out of the altar say even so Lord God almighty true and righteous are thy judgments Okay?
[34:45] So now all fresh water is turned to blood Okay? It's not just a third of wormwood and and gall or gall which is a poison and it's bitter but now all the fresh water on earth is turned to blood and it's so that those because those that are left are and remain that haven't been raptured resurrected and raptured they I mean those those are all people that have persecuted and killed Christians in the last days and didn't repent so they're going to be forced they spill the blood of God's people they're going to be forced to drink blood to perfect justice okay the fourth vial of God's wrath Revelation chapter 16 verse 8 and 9 and the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun and the power was given unto him to scorch men with fire and men were scorched with great heat and blasphemed the name of God which hath power over these plagues and they repented not to give him glory okay so God removes the protection that the earth has against the unrelentless rays of the sun and the sun is given power to scorch people on earth so now you don't got any fresh water to drink you just bled and now the heat is turned up on you the fifth vial of God's wrath which is found in
[36:22] Revelation 16 10 through 11 and the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast in his kingdom was full of darkness and they gnawed their tongues for pain and blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and of their sores and repented not of all their deeds so the beast and his kingdom is in complete darkness and it's it's a thick darkness you can feel it and there's pain and torment and everything that was restrained remember everything that was because the third part of the sun moon and stars didn't shine so the earth was already a third part dimmer and now it's going to be completely dark and the sixth vial of God's wrath is Revelation 16 12 through 16 and the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates and the water thereof was dried up that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared and I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet okay so
[37:34] I'm gonna pause right there for a sec Euphrates river runs from like Turkey down through Syria through Iraq and Iran it connects the east and the west it's like the it's mentioned back in Genesis chapter 2 the Euphrates river is very significant in the bible and so the sixth vial is gonna dry up that river completely and it says and I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon which we know is the devil out of the mouth of the beast which we know is the antichrist figure that the false prophet made an image of and caused people to worship the image and the image came alive remember that from our study before and out of the mouth of the false prophet so these three spirits evil spirits are gonna come out like frogs it says three unclean spirits and for they are spirits of devils working miracles which go forth under the kings of the earth so all the leadership of the earth and the whole world to gather them to the battle of that great day of God almighty behold I come as a thief blessed is he that watcheth and keepeth his garment lest he walk naked and they see his shame that was in
[38:54] Revelation and Revelation it's Jesus speaking in the middle of this vision and verse 16 and he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon okay so Euphrates River is gonna dry up it's gonna create a highway in a sense across all the Middle East connect the East to the West it's gonna all all the nations all the leadership and all the world is gonna be deceived by these demonic spirits it's gonna cause a deception it's gonna cause everyone to come to this place on the Euphrates and one place in Syria just north of Israel and it's gonna be called Armageddon and it's gonna be the gathering point on the Euphrates River and they're gonna gather together to fight God and that's who is when as Jesus is returning and we meet him in the air we're gonna meet that's where we're going is to deal with that okay and then the seventh vial of
[39:59] God's wrath Revelation chapter oh here's the Euphrates River by the way it goes all through the whole Middle East connects east to the west here's Israel so most people are speculating that's gonna be in Syria somewhere where all this is really gonna take place if you understand anything about what's going on in Syria right now we just had American troops killed in Syria but there's pretty much of all the great powers of the world right now there's they have militaries in Syria right now Syria there's no real leadership there the government has been overthrown for a while Turkey has soldiers there there's a lot of jihadists Islamic terrorist groups in there Israel's operating in there Iran's operating in there Russia's operating in there there's there's the list goes on and on how many different countries have literally has military power in Syria right now it's just this obviously is not that but it's just shows how it's already some things are already lining up so the seventh vial and the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven from the throne saying it is done and there were voices and thunders and lightnings and there was a great earthquake such as was not since men were upon the earth so great and the great city was divided into three parts and the cities of the nations fell so the great city was divided into three parts and the cities of the nations fell so cities all across the world are going to fall and great
[41:50] Babylon came in remembrance before God to give unto her the cup of the wine of his fierceness of his wrath and every island fled away and the mountains quake and there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven every stone about the weight of a talent right there next to the weight of a talent right 75 pounds so these stones these this hail is coming out of heaven each stone is about 75 pounds there fell upon men great hail out of heaven every stone about the weight of a talent and men blasphemed and for the plague thereof was exceeding great okay so we hear at the seventh vial of God's wrath we hear the voice saying it is done God's enemies are completely destroyed and this culminates with the seventh seal the seventh trumpet the seventh vial it all hits at the same time when the seventh seal is open it's going to be it's what started the seventh trumpets and at that time the seventh trumpet sounds the seventh vial of
[43:08] God's wrath will be poured out okay and like we learned about the seals it's it's the sixth seal is when all these when the when all these judgments start coming is in the sixth seal but the seventh seal the seventh and final trumpet and the seventh and final vial of God's wrath all hits at the same time and God's going to complete the judgment of the earth and those that took the mark and worship the beast and rejected the word of God played patty cake with God while they had their time to live and search him out and understand his word and receive salvation they played patty cake with God or completely ignored him didn't take church seriously didn't take God seriously didn't the last days Bible study seriously those people and and we we in the Lord we're going to we're going to meet the
[44:08] Lord in the air and we're going to come back with him all at the same time it's like we're going to meet him as he's returning and he's going to take care of business there at the battle of Armageddon and it all happens at the end that gathered through the deception of the sixth vial and that dried up river and we're going to make war it's not even going to be a war it's going to be an instant and it's going to be settled and Jesus is going to set up his kingdom on earth and we're going to rule as kings and priests for a thousand years so in the last page there I put events after the seventh trumpet and seventh vial so this is all I put after but there's not really a great way to explain it because it's a period of time okay so the fall of great Babylon so the city of Rome the Vatican is completely judged and destroyed and I give you scripture reference for each all of this there's rejoicing in heaven voices in heaven praise
[45:11] God loudly for judging Rome and avenging his people the marriage supper of the lamb it's when the resurrection rapture happens the church meets Jesus in the air Christ return on a white horse Jesus comes back with a white horse as king with eyes of fire many crowns and a robe dipped in blood his name is the word of God that's how he's described in revelation there at that moment armies of heaven angels and us that are what like the angels now right because we've been raptured or resurrected and we've been changed in an instant there's that final battle against the beast the beast and the false prophets going to be cast alive into a lake of fire the armies of the wicked are going to be slain those 75 pound bricks out of the air and satan is going to be bound and pass in a bottomless pit for a thousand years he's going be chained and then we're going to rule and reign with
[46:22] Christ for a thousand years on what's left of the earth but it's going to become back towards a paradise over those last thousand years or those thousand years that we're ruling and reigning with him so if we could walk away with anything I think today we should think about where we are with God and how serious we take the things of God there's definitely two clear sides of this and I want to be on the right side and I want to make sure that I take it seriously and live my life in a way that I know without a doubt that I won't be ashamed like that last scripture says and all the warnings that Jesus gives us that he's coming quickly I come as a thief blesses he that watcheth and keepeth his garments lest he walk naked and they see his shame I don't want to be caught unprepared in that day without the garments of salvation amen let's pray
[47:31] Lord Jesus I thank you for your word I pray that it helps us be drawn closer to you help us receive this word today I know it's hard I know it's tough to hear these things God give us the strength and wisdom to receive it and understand it help us grow closer in our walk with you we thank you for your promises and we thank you for all your plan to do for us keep us safe protect us bring us back next week in Jesus name I pray amen
