The Reality Of Faith

[0:12] Be blessed. The scriptures make us understand that we walk by faith. 2 Corinthians 5, verse 7. We walk by faith.

[0:24] Habakkuk 2, verse 4 said, The judge shall live by faith. Romans 1, verse 17. The judge shall live by faith. Galatians 3, verse 11. The judge shall live by faith. Hebrews 10, verse 38.

[0:36] The judge shall live by faith. We understand that faith is a foundational requirement for a walk with God. So in Hebrews chapter 11, verse 6, it said, and we know without faith it's impossible to please God. For he who comes to God, there is a necessary requirement. Must believe.

[0:57] So if you are coming, what is motivating your coming is belief. Faith is belief in action. He who comes to God must believe that God is.

[1:13] Everybody say God is. God is. He is. Not was. He was, but he is. And he is to come. That God, faith makes you know that God is still busy working.

[1:30] So you can rest and trust in him. And we see in 2 Corinthians chapter 1, verse 24, that we stand by faith.

[1:43] Yeah. We stand. It says that. Now, we don't intend to have dominion over your faith, but we are fellow workers for your joy. For by faith, you stand.

[1:55] We stand. We stand by faith. We walk by faith. We stand by faith. And we fight a good fight of faith.

[2:08] We stand by faith. In 1 Corinthians chapter 16, verse 13, it said, quit ye as men. Second, 1 Corinthians 16, watch, stand fast in faith, be brave, be strong.

[2:27] Stand fast. We stand by faith. Stand fast in faith. Be brave. In other words, there are things that would try to intimidate you. But you have to stand fast.

[2:40] Standing fast means be firm in faith. Or movable in faith. Don't change your position. You need, some of us were raised, the way you are, some of us, the way our parents raised us, we are a kid, a prone, or we have the, we are inclined towards being very stubborn.

[3:03] Oh yeah. Some of you know what I'm talking about. In your house, you are like a terrorist. From the time you were two years old, you tell, stop it.

[3:17] No, no. Took it to secondary school, your teachers were afraid of you. Until now, no one could, no one could, could put a check on you.

[3:28] Go with it. But you can turn it around, use that stubbornness you have developed, to be stubborn in faith. The devil hits you, say I'm not going.

[3:41] The devil hits you, I'm not going. He hits you, give you a punch, you bounce back. He hits you, you bounce back. Because you are standing by faith. You have, you have a stubborn, unmovable faith.

[3:55] We stand by faith. How can you have faith without the word of God? Because yesterday I said, faith is a reaction, positive reaction to God's word.

[4:07] Now, and I told you that, once you have faith, that is born from the word of God, for it, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, this is true. For it to be faith, it must be in your mouth.

[4:23] What said it? Romans chapter 10, verse 7. What does it say? What said it? The word is very close to you.

[4:37] In your mouth and in your heart. As for me, my walk will go, it's in my heart. No, it said it's also in your mouth. Whatever is in your heart, that can show in your mouth, it's not really in your heart.

[4:53] Maybe it's in your stomach. If it's in your heart, it will show in your mouth, if it is genuine faith. Because he said, the word, oh, he said, the word of faith, ah, so it's not anything at all.

[5:09] If it's a word of faith, it only has two places it stays. It's just, how can you put the washing, windscreen fluid, how can you put it in a petrol tank?

[5:25] The car won't go. Because it's not meant for the, it's only one place in the car you can put. You pour it into, even if you pour it into the engine oil compartments problem, it's only one place.

[5:38] The word of God only works if it's really with you. There's only one place the word of God hides in your life. It hides in your heart. And then, your mouth is the window.

[5:50] It comes through your mouth. It works through your mouth. It hides, when it comes, it comes in through your ears, your eyes. But, it stays in your heart. And as soon as it goes in, it can't settle.

[6:04] It begins to show your mouth. It begins to show. Instead, God has said, so we can boldly say. Hebrews chapter 13, verse 6.

[6:15] So, we can boldly say. So, then, the faith, listen, the faith that cannot be heard in your mouth is not a complete faith. What said it?

[6:28] The word is near you. Where? In your mouth and in your heart. What word are you talking about? The word of faith. But, the pastor is the one who is doing the preaching for you.

[6:40] Yeah, once we preach, let me tell you something. One hour behind in congregation, with the congregation hearing preaching can do more for you than one hour behind your Bible yourself.

[6:52] Alone. Those who think, as for me, it's just me. I'm reading my Bible. I'm reading my God. That's why you are not growing. That's why there are no testimonies, evidence that shows that God is with you.

[7:06] Where is it? Gideon said, if God be with us, where is his miracles? And God, Bible says, he did not leave himself without a witness. Yes.

[7:18] Chapter 14, Acts, verse 17. God did not leave himself without a witness. When he's with you, people will know. Jesus said that, if you don't believe me for what I say, believe me for the works.

[7:30] Because, the works I do is the Father who is in me who doeth them. They went everywhere preaching. Mark, chapter 16, verse 20.

[7:42] They went out everywhere preaching and the Lord was working with them. How? Signs and wonders following. God, when he's at work, it will be seen. He said, for no one, he said, no man can do these things except God.

[7:58] So, when God is with you, you end up doing the things that no man can do. I see you doing these things. I said, I see you doing these things.

[8:10] it's about time people admit like the way Saul had to admit and he was even afraid of David.

[8:20] He admitted that God is with you. Yeah. He admitted, he said, no, no, God. And Bible said, and he became more afraid. How will people fear that God will see you?

[8:31] Without results? No, they will see results. Bishop, a certain pastor called me. He said, Pastor David, this thing is serious. The hand of God on you and Carice is not deniable.

[8:43] It's undeniable. He said, after coronavirus lockdown, people, everybody's complaining. People are not coming to church. Churches are shutting down.

[8:54] But rather, what we see happening in Carice. Tell somebody, God is with me. God is with me.

[9:05] Tell another person, God is with you. God is with me. No, you too. Now, say God is with you. Because the truth is, if God be for us. So, if it, watch this.

[9:17] Faith cannot grow and cannot work outside of what you are saying. Faith does not grow. Faith does not work outside of what you are saying.

[9:31] What you say is a reflection of what faith you carry and how faith is working in your life. So, in the book of Luke chapter 17 verse 5, the apostle said to the Lord that increase our faith.

[9:48] That's where we are going. The apostle said to the Lord, the apostle said to the Lord, let's, if you can see from that small screen, tiny screen. Yes, let's, let's, let's, let's go.

[9:58] go. And the apostle said to the Lord, increase our faith. I wish I heard you clearly. Let's go. And the apostle said to the Lord, increase our faith.

[10:09] Now, those who can't even see it, now they have given you the clue so you can also mimic what they have said. Louder, let's go. And the apostle said to the Lord, increase our faith. I can't, I can't hear it from this side.

[10:23] Let's go again. And the apostle said to the Lord, increase our faith. They really, how many of you want increase in faith? Jesus said, no, no, the thing is not about increase in faith.

[10:37] If there is a small amount of faith there, as small as master's seed, is what followed is what I want you to take. He said, if you have faith as master's seed, what will happen?

[10:52] You can see. You can what? Say. You can what? Say. Faith says. Wow. If you have faith like master, don't ask me to increase it.

[11:04] You can see to this mountain, be moved any way. Yeah. Be pulled up, be rooted up, and be, you can say to the marble tree, planted into the sea.

[11:17] And he said, objects will obey you. Objects that cannot move. They will have to move because you have spoken. Listen, listen.

[11:30] You are now in the season of your life where you don't know is not possible. Come on. Come on. Come on. Come on. Come on. Come on. Come on.

[11:42] You went to town and came. By the time you came, the apple tree near your house has moved. Is it possible? Some things are not possible.

[11:54] So he's just trying to tell you things are not possible. Faith can make them possible in your life. The doctors have said you can't give birth. Tell them that I'll invite you to the Christian of my child.

[12:06] Not my child, my children. They said, your auntie is saying, you know, normally it's aunties. Hey, as for this family, nobody gets married.

[12:17] So once you've met a guy, just quickly do it first one and have a child because marriage is not. Tell auntie that you will be at my wedding and then and then afterwards, the christening of my children.

[12:39] It's not that she's a bad person but she's telling you the reality. What she doesn't know is there's another faith, reality of faith. It is power. But if you shut up, if you shut up, the tree ain't moving.

[12:55] The faith in your heart will authorize you to, see, someone is saying something by faith. Another person is copying. Satan will say, Jesus I know. Paul I know. By you.

[13:07] What is making, you see, so they can't just copy us. Some people see our results and they think they can also do it. Well, they should try. What they don't realize is that our result has faith at the platform because if it's going to take God, then all it requires is faith.

[13:28] Lord, I believe. Shout, Lord, I believe. Lord, I believe. Finally, you must learn how to speak.

[13:42] If you believe, speak. If you believe, speak. Sometimes, if you don't have anything to speak, to speak to yourself. For she said to herself, she said within herself, if I can touch his gun.

[13:58] She started preaching to herself that this didn't work. This didn't work. It didn't work. Preach to yourself. Preach to your fridge.

[14:09] Preach to your wardrobe. Hey! Preach to your certificate. Sometimes, you can have a meeting.

[14:21] Call your certificates. I know you have more than one. Call them. Let them sit down and start addressing them that in the name of the Lord Jesus, you will bring me great results. I don't know who situation I'm addressing, but I know God sent me as a prophet to deliver somebody's breakthrough to them.

[14:46] If you believe, it shall, Lord, I believe. Lord, I believe. Jesus said, Peter said, Master, Master, Master, the tree you cast, the big tree, it has witted.

[15:06] Because this doesn't happen. Within 24 hours, we saw him cast and we were thinking, what are you doing, boy? You cast the tree and it's witted, it's dead. Mark chapter 11, from verse 20.

[15:19] Peter said, hey, it's dead, Master. He said, oh boy, the first statement, have faith in God. Mark 11, 22, have faith in God.

[15:35] Jesus was trying to tell him, the withering of the tree is in direct response to the faith I was operating with. You are surprised.

[15:46] It's the faith I'm operating with. You need to stand by faith, walk by faith. But how can you say I'm standing by faith when you speak, we can't hear faith.

[15:59] So even when we come to church and we are praying, it's exercise of faith. When you open your mouth, because faith speaks. And when faith speaks, boy, it's discharged. Satan doesn't like it when a heart full of faith begins to speak.

[16:15] Doesn't like it. So the three Hebrew boys, they say, oh, Nebuchadnezzar, let us, we want you to know that our God whom we serve will deliver us from your fire. And even if he doesn't deliver us, we will not bow.

[16:27] They said it by faith. They quench the violence of fire. They quench the violence of fire by faith. So there was faith at work.

[16:39] Faith, blind Bartimaeus, when he was shouting, it was faith in expression. Faith. Jesus said, I'll come to your house that sent you and I'll come and heal him. He said, no, no, don't come. I'm not worthy that you should, Matthew chapter 8.

[16:52] I'm not worthy that you should come under my, Matthew chapter 8 from verse 8. I'm not worthy that you should come to my house. Only speak the words. That guy understood the power of words.

[17:02] He said, speak the words and my servant. Jesus said that I've never seen faith like this. Yeah. Faith. That was an expression of faith. Then the verse 13, Jesus said, go your way.

[17:14] Be it unto you as you have said. Yeah. Be it unto you. Jesus said, go your way. So, as you have believed, so be done on you. Yeah. So his believing was expression.

[17:27] Faith at work. He said, have faith in God. Mark chapter 11, verse 22. Have faith in God. Then he said, for whoever shall say to this mountain, be doubt removed and be cast into the sea and does not doubt in his heart but believe that those things that he sayeth shall come to pass, he shall have whatever he said.
