[0:00] Welcome. Thank you for choosing to listen to this Spirit-filled word by David Enshu. When you catch a word, you have caught God. May you catch a word today that will cause God to change your story.

[0:13] Be blessed. Remember, this month is a month off. And God will glorify His name in your life.

[0:26] The songwriter said, help me and I will glorify Your name. We are going to stand on 1 Chronicles 14 to pray.

[0:40] Jabez prayed and said, oh Lord, please Lord. Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, oh, that thou would bless me indeed. How many of you think that that can be a good one for you?

[0:52] Yes. How many of us here have seen something in your life which you know this one God did and it's like a blessing?

[1:05] You've seen it before. You've seen it and you can tell that you really can't take the credit for yourself. Okay, so we'll come back to 1 Chronicles.

[1:20] In 1 Samuel 17, David said that the God who delivered me from the bear and the lion would deliver me from this uncircumcised Philistine.

[1:34] Do you understand that? Sometimes, it's always good to rehearse what God has done.

[1:51] To give you the audacity to believe Him for what He will do. And we want to pray the prayer of Jabez that you bless me indeed.

[2:05] Now, if God has actually blessed you before, then He should do it again. If He hasn't done it before, He should show you what it feels like to be blessed.

[2:16] You know the kind of blessings that are very sweet? The blessing that can be so sweet is the blessing you know that you know that you know that you are the least qualified for it.

[2:35] That really humbles you. You can't claim you did it. You can't claim it. There are certain blessings you can't claim you did it.

[2:45] And I'm totally talking to you about what you know you don't. There are some blessings.

[2:58] There are some opportunities. There are some favors. There are some opportunities that when they come to you, you know you didn't go for it. It came for you.

[3:08] What others are dying to get will be just added to you. I'm speaking to you as someone who has tasted to a certain extent the goodness of the Lord.

[3:27] I have tasted it. I have tasted it. I have tasted it. But I'm telling you this because God has a way of changing your address.

[3:40] God has a way of changing your story. God has a way of changing your situation. God can bless. I'm speaking to you as someone who has seen a little bit of what God can do.

[3:54] Seen a little. Of what God can do which you don't deserve. There are things you do which will procure a certain level of blessing. There are other blessings that come your way. You are wondering about why.

[4:06] God has a way of introducing you into what you know you are not qualified for. God has a way of saying God plead my cause.

[4:30] God has a way of saying God is God glorifying you. This is our month of glory. God plead my cause. With them that strive with me. Fight against them that fight against me.

[4:42] Some people's assignment in life is to oppose you. They hate your mother. And your prosperity is their problem.

[4:54] Your progress means that they have failed. So as long as they live, you must not progress. You must not get married. You must not have a child. You must not buy a house.

[5:05] You must not. Because some have said you, you see. That's where I believe in blessings we don't deserve. Thank you. Listen.

[5:18] If there's something you should believe God, believe God for blessings you don't deserve. If you are believing God for blessings you don't deserve, you are very humble. It helps you to be humble.

[5:31] Look at what happened to you yesterday. You know. The mess you found yourself in. And today you are standing here. And you are believing God for a breakthrough.

[5:45] I'm telling you, boy. Even you know that you are not qualified. You know you should be whipped out of here. Yeah. If God should open the earth to swallow you, you know he's justified.

[5:59] Amen. Amen. Amen. Sometimes, you know, it's one of my things that I always like to share some thoughts and insights on if you are not true stuff.

[6:12] Even though I'm given a prayer topic. You know, somebody will be asked, especially children, and some of us, children even ask better questions sometimes when it comes to... I don't like it when my children are about to ask me a question.

[6:26] Because now they are asking more questions that are very engaging. And you have to be able to know your stuff to be able to answer them well. But why did God ask Abraham to kill his son?

[6:43] Why? But God said that shall not kill. Why is he asking Abraham to kill his son? What has that got to do with my, played my course?

[6:53] You will understand it in a minute. If Abraham had killed his son, God, because you see, anyone who is alive is alive by God's mercy.

[7:07] So you know those days he says when they go and fight, the Israelites kill everybody. Human beings are not meant to be alive because of the sin of Adam. So God has always been, to be alive is just God bending backwards.

[7:21] You actually, okay. When you go to McDonald's or they are, where they have the chicken and they kill the elk. Where you buy your turkey?

[7:32] Turkey. Okay. Now, there are turkeys that have been prepared for this Christmas. And then they will bring them in their drawers or their numbers. And they are there, ready for what?

[7:45] Slaughter. So if he said, I think today I want to do you, just take two of them and slaughter. How can that turkey say, why are you doing that? No, you are there for slaughter.

[7:56] No, your usefulness is slaughter. You don't understand it. All of us, because of the sin, we are meant to die. There are so other sins. So the fact that you are allowed to live is even, should be a reason you are wondering about.

[8:12] So when am I supposed to die? So when God says, okay, let this one go. It's normal. I mean, he hasn't done anything wrong. He hasn't done anything wrong.

[8:23] No one deserves to live. Nobody deserves to live. So when he asked for Isaac, Isaac should have died before he was even one year old. So God waited for that.

[8:34] So Abraham, anyone God asks, he can go easily. If you are a poultry farmer and I've come to your house and you want to prepare some nice dish for me.

[8:45] And you go, you tell one of your workers, can you bring me one of the chicks, the fattest one? And then somebody say, that's against animal rights. Ah. Like what? Against animal rights.

[8:58] It's against my visitors rights if you deny me. So there are people standing here who are not qualified for any breakthrough in life.

[9:12] Because of the valid negative credit history. But I've asked, Pastor, as I'm growing, I realize that every now and then, God picks unlikely candidates.

[9:30] And just shows that he's a God of mercy. And I have a feeling that we have gathered here. Those who are not meant to be here, they didn't come because they are not meant to be here.

[9:43] Those who are meant to be here, to hear this or be part of this, you know, unique environment, atmosphere of selection, atmosphere of election.

[9:55] There's a reason why you came here. There's a reason why you came here. There's a reason why you came here. To hear this word. To hear this, to be part of this prophetic atmosphere for a shift in your destiny. Shout. Thank you, Jesus. God, please my cause with those that strive against me.

[10:16] There are some of us people who are striving against you who have a cause. Yeah. They have a cause. Now, anybody who works with God must be a master of this.

[10:28] That you can't hold somebody's destiny to ransom. Even if they've hurt you. They can't hurt you. But God can't help them. Not to hurt you.

[10:39] But it's destiny. God, God. He said, I will have. Romans chapter 9, verse 16. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy. And I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.

[10:51] Therefore, it is not of him that willeth. Neither is it of him that runeth. But it's of God who shows mercy. Mercy has never been fair.

[11:04] But nobody deserves mercy. That's why when you are praying, your prayer should be embellished and covered in mercy.

[11:15] A heart of humility asking God, God, I don't deserve it. Just in case you can help me, can you do this for me? One of the prayers I normally pray, that God, there are people you are going to use greatly in this generation.

[11:31] Would you mind adding me to them? I know I might not because I might not qualify for different reasons. Maybe my natural background.

[11:43] Maybe mistakes in life. Maybe the way I talk. There are so many things. Your attitude towards life. So many things that can disqualify us. But I always pray that God, would you just consider adding me?

[11:59] Just consider adding. It's my major prayer. That people who you used to make a unique impact in this generation. Would you mind? I beg you.

[12:09] Would you mind? Just add me. Would you mind? If you don't add me, I'm so grateful. But maybe if you are considering a new guy on the block.

[12:21] Please. Please. Would you do that? I know I don't deserve it. But please. Please. Plead my cause. Oh God. Those who fight against me.

[12:34] Psalm 43 verse 1. Psalm 43 verse 1. Judge me, oh God. And plead my cause against an ungodly nation. Oh, deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.

[12:47] There are people who are waiting. They won't go to bed. Some people will not sleep. They will not eat. Like Paul. There are people who vowed that they will never eat until they see Paul killed.

[12:58] Hey. Yeah. These guys. They vowed in Acts chapter 24 or so. Yeah. 23. And when it was day.

[13:09] Some of the Jews. These are Jews. They banded together and bound themselves under an oath. Can you imagine? They swore under an oath.

[13:20] That they will neither eat nor drink till. Hey. Hey. Can you imagine? So later when I read. I'm wondering. So what would they do?

[13:31] After God delivered the man. Would they eat now? Or they will kill themselves? Hey. They bound themselves under an oath. That they will never eat.

[13:42] Neither eat nor drink. Until they see Paul killed. Not anything they have to do. They will use every political power. Every commercial and economic power.

[13:53] Economic access. Every means. Social means. Media means. They have to use it to pull him down. But you know what? When God is with you. When God is for you.

[14:04] It doesn't matter what they do. God is the perfect master. He determines what happens and what doesn't happen. You want to pray that? Please my God. In Psalm 119 verse 154.

[14:16] 119 verse 154. Same. He said. Plead my course and deliver me. Quicken me according to your word. Sometimes you are tired. You need a word from God. To jack you up.

[14:27] To jack you up. To jack you up. That's why it's good to be in church. Shout hallelujah. Now this time you must target something. Look at your life. Look at your children's situation.

[14:40] Look at your financial situation. Look at your health. Look at your past. You know there is something in your life. That if God doesn't come in. It doesn't look good for you. And you want to say God plead my course.

[14:53] Have mercy on me. And plead my course. How many of you think this will do you good? If this prayer gets answered. Yeah.

[15:06] If it gets answered. There are people who come to their wits end. And God shows up. There is nothing as sweet as that. When you are at your wits end. It is like all hope is lost.

[15:19] And God shows up. I am prophesying to somebody. That God is waiting for just a prayer from you. In today's reading. Isaiah chapter 56.

[15:30] Let's start from verse 4. Verse 4. For that says the Lord. To the enochs who keep my Sabbath. And choose what pleases me.

[15:41] And hold fast my covenant. This thing. Don't underestimate. See. You have chosen to do it God's way. You have chosen the Lord. You are keeping my Sabbath.

[15:52] What is church time? You are in church. You are keeping the Sabbath. It's a simple. It's church time. They will find every excuse. They will find every excuse. Yeah.

[16:03] They will go everywhere by church. You are busy about a lot of other things. When it comes to God. You pick and choose. Today I won't. To tomorrow I will. Don't you hear the news?

[16:14] We will hear the news. Your destiny is the one that will hear the news. You have to prioritize God. You know. For you to even be considered into some things.

[16:25] I am telling you. You don't say. It doesn't matter. God can give it to you if you don't deserve it. You go with that philosophy. Look at what he is also saying. He says that the enoch. Enoch are people who don't do some.

[16:37] Do things the way everybody. Who keep my Sabbath. And choose what pleases me. Yeah. They choose. That is your choice. You would naturally have chosen that one.

[16:48] But because this is what pleases God. You chose against your natural direction. Now choose what pleases God. He said that. This is. He said that. And holds fast by confidence. Okay.

[16:59] Let me explain. Some of you. You have forced me. Let me explain something to you. The most blessed place to be. Is in God's house. When you want to do the truth.

[17:13] The most dangerous place to be. Is in church. When you have made up your mind. You are not ready for the truth. Yeah. It's very. You are better being somewhere else.

[17:24] Than come and you are. You. That's what happened to Judas. The greatest tragedy in human history. Was Judas. Why? Judas was the one who came closest to the truth.

[17:35] And rejected the truth. Nobody saw the truth like he did. And yet rejected it. Judas. The most dangerous place to be. Is in church.

[17:45] If you are not ready to obey God's truth. Please. You are better off. Not being exposed to the truth. Than be exposed to it. And take it for nothing. And trample it under fruits. Yeah.

[17:57] Yeah. This is a deep revelation. See. These are the things that sometimes. They are not teaching us in church. It's very important. Am I helping somebody? Because the truth you don't know.

[18:10] Is what is killing you. Yeah. And there are a lot of ignorant. Charismatic people. Who are screaming. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Bless me Lord. Bless me Lord.

[18:21] And someone will wake you. Yeah. Friend. Friend. Just go and honor your father. Okay. It will change. Just go. Go and honor your father. Yeah.

[18:31] Just do some basic things. There's honor things. I teach. I teach it less than I practice it. I practice it to the max.

[18:44] Max. As much as my strength. And my abilities can allow me. To the max. And some of the times. If it hurts. Not negatively. It's like labor war.

[18:54] It doesn't hurt. But baby will come out now. So. It's good hurt. There are a lot of things. There are major things.

[19:05] You don't need to pray about. You don't need to pray about. Yeah. There are some major things. You don't need to pray about. You have to find the principles.

[19:16] What the leader. It's like you want to pass exam. And you have come to do it at the altar. Every day. When you finish. You go and sleep.

[19:26] Like someone who has just finished work. You come. You have to go. Leave me at the altar.

[19:37] Leave me at the altar. God. I don't see you. Have you got God? Leave me at the altar. Someone was coming.

[19:50] Tell me. My friend. Stop the noise. It's okay. Just go. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. There are basic things that must be done.

[20:05] To see certain results. God. Is not mocked. There's. What you are not practicing. We may not know.

[20:16] But God knows. And it will show. With time. When you go to secondary school. Or school. And. Is everybody going to the library. And read. You know you can sit behind the booth.

[20:27] But you are not reading. You can sit. You are daydreaming. And. And. Those people who will be drawing. A lot of things. They are not reading.

[20:38] Yeah. You told your mom. I'm at the library. But you didn't read. You didn't read. No problem. No problem.

[20:49] Examination time is coming. We will find out. Whether you were reading. In the library or not. Listen. The quality of our worship. The impact of our worship. Is not determined.

[20:59] During the worship. Is determined. By after the worship. When that is so. If you came to really pray. The quality of the prayer. Will be determined. After here. Not when we are here.

[21:10] It's not. People like. They like it. It's good anyway. Because it makes the atmosphere. Feel very powerful. It's good. Alright.

[21:24] Let's go back to the text. The next verse. For thus here is the Lord. To the enochs who keep my Sabbath.

[21:35] And choose. Choose what pleases me. And hold fast. My covenant. The next verse. Even to them. I will give. In my house. And within my walls.

[21:47] A place. And a name. Better than. That of. Sons and daughters. There's a way.

[21:58] You can. Bless somebody. More than your own son. God said. I. In within my walls. A place. And a name. Better than that. Of sons and daughters. God said. If you have chosen him.

[22:08] There's a way. He can bless you. Better than those. Who have always been there. I will give. Them. An. Ka.

[22:19] Ba. Ba. Ba. Ba. Ba. Ba. Ba. Ba. Ba. Ha. You don't like this one. What do you like? There are names that come and go. Come and. He said. I will give them a permanent name.

[22:32] Yeah. When we were in secondary school. I went to boarding school. Most of you didn't. I went to boarding school. And when you go with your staff. Different. They have to write your name. On your.

[22:43] The back. With. With. A permanent marker. You can wash it. And wash it. Even use bleach. It won't go. It's there. God said. Me too. I have a permanent marker. Ka.

[22:54] Ba. Da. Sha. Ta. Ba. Ba. Yeah. He said. If you choose me. If you choose me. And prioritize my Sabbath. I will give you what. I will. I said. I will bless you within my house. And I will give you better than what sons get.

[23:05] And I will give them an everlasting name. I will use. I will use. My marker. My permanent marker. To write their name in their marriage. Write their name in their destiny.

[23:17] Write their name. It cannot be erased. It cannot be erased. In the name of Jesus. So shall he be. So shall he be. If you believe in Jesus. Amen.

[23:27] Amen. But it's interesting. Before verse 4. Verse 5. Verse 4 was there. The condition. That's yes. The Lord. It's a condition.

[23:39] Look at the next. The last verse. And then we can. Last two verses. Verse 6 and 7. Verse 6 and 7. Also the sons of the foreigners who joined themselves to the Lord.

[23:49] To serve him. And to love the name of the Lord. To be his servants. Everyone who keeps from defiling the Sabbath. And holds fast my covenant.

[24:02] Now you see. God has a special place. For the Sabbath. Sabbath is the time for God. Time set aside for God.

[24:13] Instead people who respect it. They might be even outside. They are just coming fresh. Say these people. Look at the next verse. Verse 7. Even them I will bring to my holy mountain.

[24:26] And make them. Make them joyful in my house of prayer. That's where we are going. Some of you. God has brought you. To make you joyful in the house of prayer.

[24:40] Because you have decided. No. I want to spend time in church. Let's finish the text. There are bent offerings. And there are sacrifices. Will be like. Hey. This is where you can talk about living at the altar.

[24:53] For. For. My house. Shall be. Called. A house of prayer. For everybody. So if you come in with prayer. And you.

[25:03] You. You value the Sabbath. You value the time with God. And you. You. You respect his covenant. He said that. He will make you joyful in this house of prayer. So your testimony starts.

[25:16] In the presence of God. Yeah. And it shows up when you go out there. This is a house of prayer. If God wants to help you. He will. Give you opportunity. To place.

[25:27] Value. On this house. Because God really doesn't help. Outside of his house. Amen. Thank you for listening to this message by David Entry. When God speaks.
