[0:42] In 1 Samuel 16, verse 1, the word of the Lord, or the Lord said to Samuel, How long will you...

[0:54] Wow, I feel like preaching. Let the fire be. Coming down. Let the fire be. He said, the Lord said to Samuel.

[1:05] Who was Samuel? Samuel was a prophet. And what was God's statement? How long will you mourn for Saul?

[1:18] Why was he mourning for Saul? You see, when you are a pastor and a Christian leader, somebody's absence can really make you feel sad.

[1:32] Some of you know people who, after lockdown, they are backsliding. We've seen people who didn't do it God's way, and their lives are messed up. If you choose not to do it God's way, I feel sorry for you.

[1:45] We are here. We are here. Just a matter of time. Just a matter of time. If you do church, go.

[1:57] It's better to stay in the boat than to jump out into the storm. The frying pan is better than fire. Staying in the frying pan is better than fire.

[2:08] But, you know, when you are a church leader and pastor, or even if you are not a pastor and you are a Christian, and another Christian brother or Christian sister backslides, it's not nice.

[2:22] So it's like you can go into a state of shock or some kind of mini type of mourning. You lament their absence.

[2:33] People who don't do church, I can't trust them. Reasons that keep you away from God tells me you are not trustworthy.

[2:45] Yeah, so. Oh, please, please. No, no, please. I mean, I want to believe what you are saying. But what you do shout so much, I can't hear what you say. So, I'm saying something quite important.

[2:59] Sometimes when people leave, and people leave God and leave church, if you love God and you are in church, you feel sorry for them.

[3:13] Or you lament over their absence. I don't know if you have had that experience. You're going to call the person, let's go to church. Oh, no, no, no, I don't want to. Really?

[3:24] Sometimes you're in church, you feel sorry. Look at this person. Life outside of God is very expensive. Yes. And it's so unpredictable. There are people who are not in church, they look very important, but they are full of fear.

[3:37] So, when people leave or someone has left or departed from God, you lament if you are for God.

[3:48] Yes. Those of you who are, me, I understand, I understand. You are not for God, that's why you understand why someone is backsliding and you understand. Wow. How can you understand backsliding and you say you haven't backslided?

[3:58] Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. You have actually backslided. Yeah. That's why you understand why someone said, okay, I'm upset, so I won't do church again. I understand. Hey, let's live here alone.

[4:08] Me, I support him. You support someone in their backsliding state? You are a P.A. to the enemy. So, the same thing happened to one, the first king of Israel, his name was Saul.

[4:29] And it was the prophet Samuel who anointed and appointed him based on the instructions of God and made him a king.

[4:42] He was a boy, a young man, serving his father. His father had a prosperous farming business. And one day, one morning, the donkeys, two donkeys were missing. So, they said, go and look for them.

[4:54] Two asses. So, he went looking for them. Three days, he haven't found them. He said, let's go back home. And then the servant he was walking with said, ah, we are sent to look for the donkeys.

[5:05] Yeah, we haven't found them, but don't let us just go home. Let's look for a seer. I know there is a seer. In other words, a prophet. He can see things. And per chance, he will tell us where the missing donkeys were.

[5:20] So, he said, ah, that's a good idea. But how can I go to a man of God with an empty hand? Some of you don't know what the king, that's the reason why he's king. He had understanding of spiritual transactions.

[5:33] He said, how can I go before a man of God? Or how can I go to church without giving something to God? Or giving some honoring the vessel? And the servant said, don't worry. I have a little bit of food here.

[5:45] I have reserved something here. He said, ah, then let's go. Soon as they were going, God had told the prophet that tomorrow I'm going to send you somebody. Anointing my skin. Wow. So, before the donkey got missing, God has already planned.

[5:57] God is the puppet master. Micromanagement. Micromanagement. Yeah. Micromanagement. Yeah. He's a micromanager. Yes. So, they went.

[6:08] And then when they saw, entering the city, they saw the prophet at the entrance of the town. And they said, do you know the seer? Where is? He said, you are looking for the seer?

[6:19] Okay. Take the lead. I will show you. And he said, he invited them. And then he started telling him prophecies that the donkeys that you are looking for have been found. And he said, okay, then.

[6:32] That's why I came. Why did he go? He went to find where the donkeys are. The seer said, the donkeys have been found. But I want you to stay with me. Tomorrow, I will tell you about yourself.

[6:43] But as for your donkeys, which were lost three days ago, do not be anxious about them, for they have been found. And on whom is all the desire of Israel?

[6:56] Is it not on you and all your father's house? The next verse. He said, me, who am I? I'm a Benjamite.

[7:07] We are the least tribe. How can you say Israel's desire is upon me? And then what did he say to him, verse 22? And then Samuel took Saul and his servant and brought them in the hall and had them to sit in the place of honor amongst who were invited.

[7:27] But I think before then, he said that tomorrow you will eat before me. I think it's a, yeah. Samuel said to Saul, I am the seer. You are looking for the seer. I'm the seer. Go up before me to the high place.

[7:39] For, watch this, you shall eat with me today. And tomorrow I will tell you, sorry, I will let you go and will tell you all that is in your heart.

[7:56] He said, my father's donkey. Come and let's go and look for donkeys. Let's go. I'll be the prophet. You come and look for them. So that is Samuel and the servant.

[8:10] They are coming to look for their donkeys. They are looking for the donkey. And now they can't find the donkeys. Now, physically they can't find, so they have to apply or employ, engage the services of satellite navigation.

[8:27] The prophet to know. The prophet can know where you can see. So they came. He said, we are looking for the prophet. We are looking for the prophet. The seer. The seer. And the seer said, I am the one.

[8:41] But you go ahead to my house, to this high place. I'm coming there. Go ahead. And what did he say? He said, go up before me to the high place. For you shall eat with me today.

[8:56] You shall eat with me when? Today. And then what will happen? But why don't you tell me everything now? Why tomorrow?

[9:07] If I'm eating with you today, time. If you don't have time for God, God doesn't have time for you. What he has to say to the person, he says, you have to spend some time first.

[9:18] You need to hang around me for 24 hours. You can't just, I can't just tell you for you to go. You need to hang around me for 24 hours. You don't like hanging around church, hanging around the man of God.

[9:30] You are missing out on destiny. He said, you eat with me today and tomorrow I will let you go.

[9:41] And I will tell you what is in your heart. Excuse me. Why did he come there? Why did they appear before the prophet? To come and look for the donkeys.

[9:53] And he said, tomorrow I will tell you what is in your heart. Supposedly that should have been what was on. No, no. That was what was on their mind. On his mind. By his heart. There was destiny in his heart.

[10:04] But he didn't know. There was destiny in his heart. In his heart. But he didn't know. So he got there. He said, okay, let me tell you what's on your mind. So look at the next verse.

[10:16] But as for the donkeys, that's on your mind, isn't it? As for the donkeys, you came to, for me to tell you where the donkeys are. They were missing three days ago. Don't be anxious for they have been found. They have been found.

[10:28] So I've told you what's on your mind. But I need you to stay around me 24 hours. Because I need to tell you what your destiny has to do with me. I need to reveal your destiny to you. Wow. And so within 24 hours.

[10:42] Meanwhile, God has told him, I'm bringing you a prophet. Yeah. I'm sorry. I'm bringing you a king. I'm sending you somebody. Anoint him as king. God has already told him.

[10:53] Tomorrow about this time, I will send you a man from the land of Benjamin. And you shall anoint him commander over my people Israel. That he may save my people from the hand of the Philistines.

[11:06] For I have looked upon my people because their cry has come to me. They are asking for a king. So I'm going to say, listen. He went, his father, his father sent him.

[11:19] Go and look. Really read from the earlier part. He says that there's a man called Saul. His father's donkey were meeting in the morning. His father is called Kish.

[11:31] Now the donkeys of Kish, Saul's father, were lost. And Kish said to his son, please, take one of the servants with you and arise. Go and look for the donkeys.

[11:42] Whilst his father was telling him this, God has also been resisting, gone to the prophet. And he says, tomorrow, I'm going to send you somebody. God said, tomorrow, I will send you a man from the land of Benjamin.

[11:56] And you see, God is the one in behind the scenes. I'm sure God took the donkeys. Yes. What? God went and nicked the donkeys at night. Yes.

[12:08] And those days, those days, if you had donkeys, like you have Bentley. Hey. Wow. Wow. Wow. That's a mistake. Wow. And particularly, I think it's the male one.

[12:19] When you have them, they are very helpful because they help to reproduce, either the male or the particular one. So, that one that got missing, two of them is big problem. Yeah. The business was about to come down.

[12:31] Yeah. So, we need to look for those donkeys because if we don't find these donkeys, our business is collapsing. Mm. So, Saul said to the dad, I'll go. But whilst he went first day, second day, on the second day, he couldn't find the donkey.

[12:47] That God told the prophet that tomorrow, tomorrow, I'm sending you a young man from Benjamin. Wow. From the tribe of Benjamin. Wow.

[12:57] Who is sending? God. Yeah. But did Saul meet God? No. No. They had not met. He doesn't even know very much how God would speak. But God said, I'm behind it. I nicked the donkeys and I made him choose a servant who will be thinking about a seer.

[13:11] Wow. Yeah. Okay. The servant in the person of the Holy Spirit. He'll be pointing you to the right direction. He'll be pointing you. Let's go there. Go there. Go to check.

[13:22] Go to. He'll be pointing you. So, the servant told him, let's go. There's a seer. He said, I don't have what it takes to go and see a prophet. He said, don't worry. I've got it. When they saw the prophet, the prophet said, what are you looking for?

[13:37] He said, we are looking for the prophet. He said, I'm the one. Go ahead of me. For today, you eat with me. You die with me. And tomorrow, I will tell you what's in your heart. As for the donkeys that were missing three days ago, they have been found.

[13:51] So, what are we doing here? Then let us go. No. I need you to stay around me. For 24 hours. Waiting for a train for 24 hours.

[14:04] Waiting for, watch this, 24 hours for him to tell you what he want to say. Why can't you say it now? My dad will be looking for me. I have to go. My dad, family, everybody will be worried about me.

[14:16] Now that they found their donkeys, they'll be thinking about me. In fact, that's what he said. In fact, he told his servant, I think from the verse, 16, something like that, 70 or so. He told the servant that we can't find, three days now, we can't find the donkeys.

[14:31] By now, my father has got, he started getting worried about me. So, let's go back. And the servant said, we can't go without looking for the seer. So, he already knew that they've been out for so long.

[14:44] By now, his father will be very, his father will be very, very worried. God, let us go. Let my father cease caring about the donkeys and become worried about us.

[14:56] So, he knew his father will be worried. Now, you go and meet a man of God who is telling you the donkeys have been found. So, let me go because my father will be worried. But he said, no, you are not going.

[15:07] I need you to stay around me a little bit. Those of you who pull family cards, oh, my mom, my dad, my mom, my dad, the prophet said, you need to stay around.

[15:17] I know your mom is concerned, but this is good for your mom. Yeah. And so, they stayed there.

[15:29] And then, he said, you are the one the desire of Israel is on. Never underestimate where God can pick people from. That's why I'm so happy preaching to you because I know God is picking some of you from very unlikely places.

[15:42] Some of you have already been selected by God. He doesn't consult you before he selects you. Yeah. Some of you, when you look at your history, the kind of things you have done, you are really bad.

[16:00] But God said, yes, it's you. You see, he chooses the foolishness of this world to confine the rivals, to confuse the wise. Those who think they deserve it. Those who think they have the entitlement.

[16:12] God will bypass them and pick somebody who everybody thinks that this one is a Rahab. This one doesn't qualify to be. And God will bypass all the others and choose this one so that he can look like God.

[16:27] He always wants to look God without consulting. The donkeys have been found. And he said, stay with me.

[16:40] Tomorrow, I will tell you what is on your heart. And then, when they finished eating there, 24 hours later, he took the oil, poured it on him. He said, is it not because God has appointed you, anointed you, king of Israel?

[16:58] Chapter 10, verse 1, I think so. Is it not because God has anointed you? Samuel took the flask. Don't forget that, okay? He took what?

[17:09] The flask. He took what? The flask. Man-made flask. Flask of oil and poured it on his head and kissed him and said, now please don't get confused with this kissing.

[17:19] It's not the rubbish one some of you have been thinking about. And kissed him and said, is it not because the Lord has anointed you commander over his inheritance?

[17:34] It's God's inheritance. But he has chosen you to be a commander over not your inheritance. That's why pastors must be careful. Don't be, you don't go around saying it's my church.

[17:44] It's God's church. It's God's church. It's my people. Your people. You have people. It's God's people. That's why we have to be careful. The way we even love them, forgive them, and treat them, and love them.

[17:59] Pastors are not to fleece the sheep. They are to feed. They are fleecing pastors all the way in town. They will skin you. And even take the actual, after taking the, they're sharing you.

[18:15] They will skin, they will take you. You are not dead, but your skin will be used for leather shoes. That's why you have to be careful. People are walking in town calling themselves prophet, prophet, prophet, Michael, prophet, that and prophet, that.

[18:30] So, he said, I will tell you what is in your heart. And then he told him and anointed him as king. But the guy was being raised without knowing.

[18:42] Then God comes to watch this. So, he knew how Saul became a king. Prophet Samuel. He saw the way this guy was rising.

[18:54] It's like you are a head teacher. And you see someone who joins your school, the secondary school, the first year there, second year, third year, to upper sixth or lower sixth and finish there.

[19:09] And she's doing so well. And just before her final exam, she says, I'm no more interested in school. Oh, this is rubbish. Meanwhile, she's one of the best students. If you're a head teacher, what would you do?

[19:21] You will lament. Then God comes to the head teacher, prophet, in chapter 16, verse 1. He said, stop lamenting over Saul. He said, now the Lord said to Samuel, how long will you mourn for Saul, seeing that he has rejected, I have rejected him from reigning over Israel.

[19:39] He chose him when he didn't apply for it. And God said, I've rejected. Why? Because he became too proud. He started doing things his own way.

[19:49] The way I've told him to do it, he won't do it. He was doing things to please people. He was doing things so people would like him. God, I've rejected him.

[20:00] So, you know, headmaster, prophet was not happy. God, you saw this guy. God has chosen him. He said, stop mourning for him. Seeing I've rejected him.

[20:11] Feel your, this is not, this is not flask. Flask, man-made. Horn, natural. Fill your horn with oil. Fill your horn.

[20:25] David was not anointed with a flask. He was anointed with horn. Two different things. Yeah. If you look at chapter 10, verse 1. Saul was anointed with a flask of oil.

[20:38] So, he went. He said, fill your horn with oil. Watch this, watch this. Fill your horn with oil.

[20:51] And go. This time he didn't say, I'm sending someone to you. I'm sending you to go and hunt him. Go to his house. He didn't say, prophet, I'm sending someone to you.

[21:06] He said, prophet, I'm sending you to someone. Go. I said, I'm sending you to Jesse, the Bethlehemite. For I have provided myself a king among his sons.

[21:20] Hallelujah. Amen. And he didn't know that this discussion was going on about him. Wow. You don't know what discussion heaven is having about you.

[21:31] Wow. That's why you are messing up. Don't follow everybody. Their discussion is about you, not about them. God has a wonderful plan for you. Don't follow others.

[21:42] Wow. Because some of them, their plan, they have been programmed for Satan to have them. Wow. Yeah. Pastor, how can you say that?

[21:54] Check history. Some people, Satan will get them. Even one of Jesus' disciples, Satan. He says, he says that, have I not chosen you 12?

[22:04] Yes, one of you is a devil. John 6, I think 68 or 69. Have I not chosen you 12? Yes, one of you is a devil. And Jesus prayed. He said, Father, John chapter 17, I think verse 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 12.

[22:17] He said, all those you have given me I have kept except the son of perdition that your word will be fulfilled. Yeah. Yeah. While I was with them, I have kept them in your name.

[22:28] Those whom you gave me I have kept and none of them is lost except the son of perdition. So some people are not meant to be lost. Others are meant to go. Wow. Wow.

[22:39] Wow. So when Jesus died and was resurrected, when they were not sure about Jesus, the disciples, I think chapter 21 verse 3 or 4, John chapter 21 verse 3 or 4, he said, someone, Peter said, I'm going back to fishing.

[22:56] Hey, I'm going back to fishing. Hey, I'm going back to fishing. I'm going back to fishing. Hey, I'm going back to fishing. This Jesus didn't have enough of it.

[23:07] Yeah. Someone. The spokesman. And then do you know what? There are some people when they make a wrong decision, a lot of people will follow them. Yes. Yeah. They say, we also.

[23:19] We also going. Judas, no one followed him, but Peter. Wow.

[23:30] So Jesus said, no, no. You are not meant to be lost. So when they went fishing, they didn't catch any fish. Wow. Yeah. The reason why you are still struggling is because you are trying to run away from God.

[23:41] Wow. Yeah. You're struggling. The doctors will have to tell you. They don't know what it is. They've done every test. They don't know. Come back to God. Yeah. That's good.

[23:55] He said, I'm going fishing. And they went forth and entered into a ship immediately. And that night, they caught nothing. In the morning, Jesus himself came to the shore. He said, sons, have you caught anything?

[24:07] They said, nothing. Yeah. It was necessary for that guy to break your heart. You wouldn't have come back to church. Yeah. It was just necessary.

[24:18] Wow. God was the mastermind behind it. That's right. Yeah. He broke your heart. He gave you some sickness. Now you have to come to church.

[24:28] Believe God for a miracle. Yeah. At least that brought you back to church. Yeah. Yeah. He said, hey, sons. He said, hey, sons. Peter, you can't go.

[24:39] Some can be lost. Others cannot be lost. So he sent Samuel into the house of Jesse, David's dad. He said, he has got sons.

[24:50] I have chosen for myself a king among his sons. And yet none of them know. Their father doesn't know. And none of them know. This one is conference between God and his prophets. He said, I am a king among his sons.

[25:00] He said, I want to be lost. I want to be lost. I want to be lost. Pastor, why are you telling us this thing? That's why I sang the song. But just that, don't you remember the words well? I see a new revival.

[25:14] And then there's part of the song says that there's a coming, a generation. There's a generation rising. There's a generation rising. Yeah. I see a generation rising up to take their place with selfless faith.

[25:31] Did you see that? This is very important. Is this the message I'm trying to preach? There's a rising generation. There's an army rising up. Amen. There's an army rising up.

[25:43] Amen. There's an army rising up. Amen. There's an army rising up. Amen. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. He said, go into the house because God said, I have appointed myself.

[25:57] I have appointed for myself a king amongst his sons. Amongst his sons, I have a king amongst them. But do you know what the king was doing? He was in the backside of the desert taking care of sheep.

[26:10] He didn't know in God's plan he's a king. The greatest king ever in history was a shepherd. And he didn't apply for their job. God said, you have chosen you.

[26:22] And they poured oil, horn of oil upon him. In verse 13. And Samuel poured the oil upon him. And Bible says, and the spirit of the Lord came upon him from that day forward.

[26:36] Hallelujah. And then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brethren. And the spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward.

[26:47] So Samuel arose and went back home. He's finished his job. Something has come on David. Something has come on him. From that day on, something has come on him.

[26:58] But unfortunately, he went back. No, he went back to his normal job. You see, some of you, we pray for you and you have a vision that God said you'll be a pastor. Suddenly, you have gone to start a church.

[27:09] Satan will eat your meat. No, it doesn't work like that. When you read the Bible in Luke chapter 1, the last verse.

[27:22] The last verse. Was it 1 or 52 or 252? Talking about John the Baptist. Yeah, the last verse in chapter 1. John the Baptist grew in wisdom.

[27:32] And the child grew and became strong in spirit and was in the desert. How long? Till the day is a manifestation of his manifestation.

[27:43] Don't quickly, prematurely try and display yourself. He went back. Jesus in Luke chapter 2, verse 50, 50, somewhere, 48, 49, 50.

[27:56] He went back with his parents and he was subject to them. Yeah. Even though he said, don't you, verse 48 said that, don't you not have to be about my father's business. He knew God had an assignment for him.

[28:08] But he went back with Joseph and Mary, his natural parents. He went back with them and he was subject. Some of us, you are so big, you can't submit to anybody.

[28:21] Even Jesus, God himself was subject to parents. You can't submit to usher. You can't submit to anybody. You can't submit to usher. You come to church. I love Jesus. But you can't submit. Usher says it. You say, no, no. You argue with an usher.

[28:32] You will not do well. Wow. You will not do well. It's a major sign. It is. Oh, yeah. People who can't just follow basic instructions of usher.

[28:43] Of usher. There are people I normally don't find funny. It's the temporal road. When, you know, there's roadworks and then they don't have traffic lights.

[28:53] So they have their go and then just, you are in a hurry. When he gets your turn, then he turns. He says, you stop. You can't go. Even though he's not police, you can't go. You have come to church.

[29:06] Usher says it. You are arguing with usher. Even Jesus, he went and was subject. Some of us, your biggest weakness is the inability to submit.

[29:20] Oh, yeah. That's your biggest weakness. You are autonomous. Do you know what that word means? Autonomous. To have autonomy.

[29:32] Auto. When we say automobile, you know what mobile is? No mobile for mobile. Something that moves. Okay. So mobile. Auto. So it moves by itself. Automobile.

[29:43] Yeah. So anytime you see auto before, something means self. So automobile, self-propelling. So anytime auto, you check what other word in the Latin, you find out it's self, something.

[29:55] So when you say somebody's autonomous. Autonomous. Nomous. Deuteronomy. Deu. What's due? Two. Two. Deuteronomous. Second law. Deuteronomy.

[30:06] So deuteronomous. Nomous is law. When you say something's antinomian. Antinomous is anti-law. So what we say autonomous. Self-law.

[30:17] Self-government. You understand that? Okay. So when you are autonomous, it's like no one tells you anything. Nomous.

[30:28] You have your own autonomy. You have your own sovereignty. Yeah. Yeah. And no one can be mentored autonomously.

[30:39] How can someone mentor you? Mentoring means that you submit your authority to someone to be giving you instructions. Yeah. Yeah. That's why when you go to a school, you can't submit to their law.

[30:50] They'll suck you. I know some of you might be having a spell from school before. Because you didn't do what they said you should do. Yeah. You went to be bullying somebody. You went to do something. Maybe you don't do that in this school.

[31:00] They called your parents. It sucked you. It threw you out of the school. Yeah. You can't take them to court. They told you don't do this. It threw you out. They said, this is how we dress. You have to wear this uniform. You have to do this. No hair.

[31:11] No earrings or jewelry. You bring it. They will seize it. Or if you don't stop, they will suck you. Because you can't be in any. And schools that don't have restrictions and laws.

[31:22] It's bogus school. Absolutely. Absolutely. The best schools have stricter systems. Yeah. That's right. Yeah. If you enter into government in some of the nations like other nations.

[31:37] Yeah. You can do whatever you want. Because people do dodgy things and call. But in the UK, even if someone sponsors you and you want to be a lord. It's a problem. Yeah. Yeah.

[31:48] The laws are strong. When laws are strong, life is much more stable. Yes. So why don't think, why don't you make children feel like I have my liberty, I'm free to do.

[32:01] No, you can't be free to do whatever you want to do. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's a recipe for disaster of destiny. Yeah. Recipe for travesty of destiny. Yeah. To be given freedom to do whatever you want.

[32:12] Yeah. Life is full of laws. Yeah. You see somebody and you're like, how many of you have seen somebody before you feel, hmm, I feel I'm very attracted to this person. How many of you? Some of you are very hypocrite.

[32:23] Look at you. You're behaving like you never. Even here, you are thinking about somebody. That's why you can't lift your hand. But the fact that you feel attracted to somebody doesn't mean you can't go for the person. How many of you have seen nice cars before?

[32:35] Yes. And you're like, this is my dream car. Yeah. It doesn't mean anything. Can you go and drive it? No. You go to the shop, the jewelry shop. Some of you ladies, you see some rings. You see some jewelry. But you can't have it.

[32:46] You can't have it. So you can't just say, I am free to do whatever I want. It's a lie. It's deception. Yeah. If you like, go on the road and decide to walk anywhere you want.

[33:00] You'll be knocked down by a car. You can't be eating anything you want to eat. No. Some of you, that's why your health is compromised.

[33:11] You'll be eating everything. I will sing God of your mercy. I will sing God of your goodness. If I did it, it would be enough. If I want it to be enough.

[33:21] Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!

[33:32] Ha! Ha! So we need some kind of control. Yeah. Yeah. We all do. Especially the younger you are. The more control you need. Do you know why? Because you are not too experienced.

[33:46] You can easily be deceived. Yeah. You can easily make terrible mistakes. How many of you have made some, I'm talking about stupid mistakes? And you wonder, how could I have done that? Yeah.

[33:57] It's human. It's human. So you need some restrictions before you make mistakes because your understanding life has not gone to a certain level. So let's go back to what I was talking about.

[34:08] What was the last scripture? Look to, yeah. Look to, yeah. So Jesus Christ went and submitted himself to them.

[34:20] Your inability to submit is what determines your inability to rise. Submission. Jesus submitted himself.

[34:31] So it's important. He says that, I have appointed a king for myself from amongst his sons. So go there and anoint him for me. Because there is a generation rising whom people are not aware of.

[34:44] God will always take the enemy by surprise. Because he doesn't know who God has got. I know there is an army rising here.

[34:56] I know God is raising some great men and women here. Listen, you will not make noise, but you will make news. You will not be reading news, you will be news.

[35:10] You will be the news people will be reading. In the name of Jesus. How is this going to happen? Because the spirit of the Lord is going to come upon you.

[35:21] God is going to help you. So that's what I'm talking about. There was a time, a gentleman is a very well seasoned great prophet of God.

[35:37] His name was Elijah. One day, some tragedy happened. When Jezebel, when King Ahab became king and married a strange woman called Jezebel.

[35:55] And Jezebel came from a foreign land and she brought foreign gods. Baal and Asheron. Baal is the male god, female god Asheron.

[36:08] He brought them and erected them. And then imported prophets. These evil prophets of this imported them from there. Gave them free visa. And gave state sponsorship.

[36:22] They were given nice apartments. And then he said, all those prophets of Jehovah God, get rid of them. That's what Jezebel did. And Jezebel got them executed.

[36:35] Killed them. So everyone. And so Elijah had to run for his life. And he said, God, I'm tired. Kill me. 1 Kings chapter 19.

[36:46] Kill me. And God said, why? Verse 10. Look at what he said. So he said, I've been very zealous for the Lord God of whose.

[36:57] For the children of Israel have forsaken your covenant. Turned down your altars. And killed your prophets with the sword. Watch this. What did he say? The last one.

[37:08] I alone am left. I seek to take my life. Let's read it out loud. I alone am left. I seek to take my life. NIV. Let's go.

[37:21] I am the only one left. And now we are trying to do it too. He said, I'm the only one left. They've killed all your prophets. Now when you go to schools, everybody is anti-Christian.

[37:37] In my neighborhood. It looks like I'm the only one left. In my family. I'm the only one. I'm the only one. On our course. I'm the only one who is a Christian. People hate God. And when you look around you, that's what you see. It's truly.

[37:48] Yeah. And then the verse 18. See what God told him. Verse 18. Verse 17. Let's go to verse 17. Okay. Let's go. It's 18. Verse 18. God said, Yet I have reserved 7,000 in Israel.

[38:01] all whose knees have not bowed to bow. And every mouth that has, and every mother has not kissed him. He said, I have 7,000, you think they are all dead?

[38:13] You think you are the only one left? Okay, let's go. Let's go. Let's go to verse 17. Let's go to verse 17. Verse 17. Verse 17. Let's go to verse 17. Let's go to verse 17. Okay, let's go.

[38:24] It's 18. Verse 18. God said, Yet I have reserved 7,000 in Israel. All whose knees have not bowed to bow. Okay, let's go to Romans chapter 11 from verse 1, 2, 3.

[38:36] We are going to verse 4, but it's always nice to read from verse 1. I say then, has God cast away his people? Certainly not. For I also am an Israelite of the seed of Abraham, the tribe of Benjamin.

[38:53] Look at the next verse. God has not cast away his people. God has not cast away whom he foreknew. Or do you not know what the scripture says of Elijah?

[39:08] How he pleaded with God against Israel, saying, Lord, they have killed your prophets and turned down your altars, and I alone am left.

[39:21] And they seek my life. Look at verse 4. But what does the divine response say to him? How did God respond? I have reserved for myself 7,000 men who have not bowed to any of them.

[39:37] Yeah, they have not bowed the knee to bow. They haven't bowed. So you haven't seen people who are on fire, so you think everybody's on ice? You think you are the only Christian? Yeah. Make the mistake and abandon and see.

[39:50] God said, I have 7,000. They are all hiding. Wow. God has got, I'm telling you, in this congregation, God has got bishops here. Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!

[40:06] Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! No, everybody is not studying.

[40:16] God has got people who are here. Some are, people, there are people here who are going to be Prime Ministers. There are people here who are going to be Bishops, Apostles. There are people here who are going to be Mega Church Pastors.

[40:27] They are here. They are here. They are here. There is a generation rising. There is a generation rising.

[40:40] There is a generation rising. When they say on those news that many people are not going to church, young people are not going to church, don't mind them.

[40:53] It depends on where they are taking their statistics. We are not just in church. We are actually on fire. See, they finished church in Reading.

[41:08] Did you have service today? They finished Reading. They jumped on train, traveled to come here. What are they looking for? We are on fire. Last Friday, we had some people.

[41:21] They came by themselves, jumped on the train from Coventry. They came to church. One lady, too, as soon as she finished work in Birmingham, she jumped on the train, coming to church in London.

[41:33] We have a whole group of people from Bristol. Some came by coach. Some came by train. Some came from all kinds of places. Last Wednesday, some of you were there.

[41:44] Liverpool, they traveled all the way from Liverpool only to come to church. And they arrived earlier than many of the people in London to come to church after church. I said, how are you going? They said, we are going by train.

[41:54] It's just a problem. Distance is never a problem when you have a hat. Those people who are not hungry for God, they think you travel too far to church.

[42:08] Ah. But don't people travel to Ayanape. Don't people travel to Afro nation. They travel. They're coasts.

[42:20] Those people travel for parties. Nightclub, they travel. Some of you, some of you, you travel far to go and eat in one restaurant. One restaurant. Yeah.

[42:31] So what's wrong if you're traveling to go to church? I know there is an army rising. There is a generation rising. There is a new generation.

[42:45] There is a new generation. There is a new generation. There is a new generation. There is a new generation. Shout hallelujah.

[42:56] Yeah. They are rising up to take their place. They are rising up to take their place. With selfless faith.

[43:08] With selfless, not selfish. Selfless. They don't care what people think about them. Selfless faith. They are rising up to take their place. They are rising up to take their place.

[43:20] Nobody can stop them. They are rising up to take their place. Shout hallelujah. Yeah. There is a generation rising.

[43:33] There is an army rising. There is an army rising. There is an army rising. There is an army rising.

[43:47] He said, For I have much people in the city. Acts chapter 18 verse 10. He said, I have much people.

[43:58] You think God doesn't have people. God said, I have much people. For I have much people in a city. In this city.

[44:10] You don't know. But they are there. You don't know. Don't think that in your uni, in your neighborhood, you are the only one God is using. Carice, we shouldn't think we are the only church who are pursuing revival.

[44:24] We shouldn't think we are the only church on fire. There are a lot of churches on ice. But there are some other churches we don't know about. He said, I have 7,000 people who have not bowed their knees to bow.

[44:38] There are people who will be in church throughout their lives. There are people who are not backsliding. There are people who have been praying every morning.

[44:51] Praying and seeking their faith. There are people who read their Bibles every day. Listen, there are a lot of pastors in America and in Africa and as for UK is even back. Who don't carry Bibles but there are people who still carry their Bibles and read it.

[45:05] They read it. There are people who still believe in God. They believe in the Word of God. Who am I talking about? I believe. There's an army rising. There's an army rising.

[45:19] Listen, some of you some of you we may look funny or extreme before you to you.

[45:30] We may look extreme to you but that's okay. You are rather extreme. You are off. Like milk that has gone bad. You are off. When someone is drunk he is laughing at others.

[45:44] He thinks they are rather drunk. You are rather wrong. They have switched upside down in our society in our time that when you are doing the right you look bad.

[46:00] They call wrong right and right wrong. but there is a new bridge rising. God is about to send you into schools.

[46:13] God is about to send you into industries. God is about to send you into government. God is about to send you into churches. God is about to send you into families.

[46:25] As his mouthfees and his agents. He says, Samuel, stop lamenting over Saul for I have rejected him.

[46:36] Take your horn. Feel it. I have appointed myself a king in the house of Jesse. Go there. They don't know but I have appointed somebody already. God will not lament because he himself knows what he will do.

[46:50] Yes, yes, yes. You might be sitting here and thinking, why are they always screaming? What else? When you watch X-Factor they are screaming. You don't say anything. You don't say anything.

[47:00] Hypocrite like you. You don't say anything. What can Simon Carr do for your destiny? When people are watching football and they are screaming.

[47:12] You think it's normal. But when someone is showing excitement about God when you see somebody in church who is excited. Oh, it's strange. You are rather strange. You are strange.

[47:27] There's a new generation rising. There is a new generation rising. God bless you for listening to this message.
