The Big God Theology

[0:00] Welcome. Thank you for choosing to listen to another word-filled message by David Entry. Preaching is the means by which God manifests His word and nourishes our spirits.

[0:12] May the life of God enter into you anew as you listen to this message. Be blessed. We need to get this very clearly established. There are many of us here who every now and then you are likely to ask, so where is God? When you look at the events of life, the happenings of life, it makes you question who is in control? Who is in charge? When you look at some people who even win elections, when you look at how evil seem, wicked men seem to be thriving and prevailing, when you look at the occurrence and the situations in life, it might even look like some men are more powerful than God. Yeah. It is very interesting. Listen, that is why the only way you can walk with God effectively is by faith. You don't see it the way your mind tells you it should be, but you believe it the way the word tells you it is. So you are not feeling well, but the word says that the Lord is your healer. You understand?

[1:22] And then, but if you look at God, am I really your healer? I'm praying. Nothing is happening. Listen, do not move by the dictates of circumstances or signs. What signs? It's your natural thinking, your human or using your senses, the perception, sensory perception to dictate or to tell what's going on. So if I don't see Isaac, I know Isaac is not here. If I don't see, Jesus said, blessed are those who have not seen, but yet believe. Say, I believe. I believe. Who have not seen. He said, blessed is he who has not seen, but believe. In John chapter 20 verse 29 or so. Yeah. So it's not, in fact, in 1 Peter chapter 1, I think verse 8, he said, whom having not seen, ye love. Jesus, we haven't seen him, but we still love him.

[2:22] So then, watch this. The Christian faith is not for weak-spined people. It takes a lot of strength and a lot of internal fortitude to be a Christian. Because how can you be believing in things that you have not seen? And yet you make major decisions on things, based on things you haven't seen.

[2:48] Wow. So, Christianity is not for weak-spined people. Spaghetti boys. Christianity is not for the weak.

[3:00] When I say not for the weak, in the sense of you do not have the guts to trust God, you can't be a Christian. It starts by faith. We grow. He said, your faith grows exceedingly. So we are saved by faith.

[3:17] We walk by faith. We grow in Christ by faith. And we can only please God by faith. So your faith is the determining factor of your walk with God, else you won't be able to walk with God.

[3:33] There are people sitting here and your minds are filled with questions. Why God? Why God? Where is God? What is going on? I want you to know, if you can walk by faith, you will see the glory of God. Jesus put it this way to Martha.

[3:54] Did I not tell you in John chapter 11 verse 40 and 41, did I not tell you that if thou believe it, thou will see the glory of God, if you believe? The condition for seeing the glory of God is believing.

[4:11] Say glory. That's where we are going. Did I not tell you that if you believe? He said, let's not read it out loud. Let's go. Let's start again. Loud. Let's go.

[4:28] Say I not unto thee. That if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God. In other words, flipping this round, if you want to see the glory of God, what should you do?

[4:40] Believe. Because if you believe, you see the glory. Listen, before the end of the year, the glory of God will manifest in your life. Watch this. Watch this.

[4:53] He said, if thou believe, you will see the glory of God. The glory is there. But for it to manifest in your life, for it to show you, for you to see it, you have to believe.

[5:04] Believe. Believe. People don't have to believe on your behalf. You have to choose to believe. They will tell you that faith is risky. It's a risk. I'm trying.

[5:17] In a certain sense, when they say, they are trying to say that it may look like a risk. But Bible clearly tells us that faith is the victory that overcomes the world. It's not a risk. I told you, it takes a certain type of strength to be a Christian.

[5:33] Because it takes a certain type of guts to walk by faith. How can you jump on water and start walking on water? Because Jesus said, walk. All you have. Why are you walking on the water? Because I got a word. I've got a word.

[5:47] They will laugh at you. They will mock you. They will tell you you are sinking. But I'm telling you, if you have got a word, you will not sink. If you can rise up and walk on water. If you can rise up and walk, you have to do it on the word of God.

[6:01] Shout, I believe. I don't know who I'm talking to. But I believe somebody is due for the manifestation of the glory of God. The angel said to Mary.

[6:17] Sorry, Elizabeth said to Mary. In Luke chapter 1 verse 45. Blessed is she that believeth. For there shall be a performance.

[6:30] When you believe, performance takes place. You are too worried. You are too worried.

[6:42] You are too worried. You are too fearful. You are too concerned. It's because you two have been listening to them too much. Listening to them too much.

[6:56] He said, for God. Say, for God is not a man that he should lie. Has he said it and will he not do it? Has he spoken and shall he not make it good?

[7:08] God is not a man. He said he has commanded to bless. And so what I'm doing is a joke. God wants you to know. I want you to know that there is a script for your life.

[7:26] Whatever is happening in life is pre-scripted. That's where I'm going.

[7:38] Scripted. There is a script. God is micromanaging everything.

[7:49] Oh yes, that's a good place to clap for Jesus. God, everything is happening.

[8:03] That's why the other time I told you, even for our meeting here, he's following the script. We might not decide it, but as we put our faith in God and walk with God, he's following the script.

[8:16] He's following the script. Everything to the nth degree, God is in charge. Yeah. In Romans chapter 11, I'm actually going to verse 36, but as my custom is, I am so indulgent when it comes to God's word.

[8:37] I just want to go back a little bit. My only prayer is that I don't get stuck in one of those verses, but before I get to my main verse, Romans 11, 33.

[8:49] It says that, oh, the depths of the riches, both of the wisdom and knowledge of God.

[8:59] How unsearchable are his judgments and his ways, his ways past finding. In other words, his ways have gone beyond research. His past finding.

[9:11] You are trying to research to know what God is trying to do, my friend. His past finding. You just have to walk with him by faith. Believe his word. Look into his word. You will find it. In fact, I like that scripture, the way the Bible says that Jesus Christ came into the synagogue.

[9:25] In Luke chapter 4, verse 16. As his custom won, he went to the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and he stood up to read.

[9:35] And listen, the Bible says that, and he came to the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and he stood up to read. Look at the next verse. The next verse. And he was handed the book, and when he had opened it, he did what?

[9:49] It's like he found. Almost like he looked for something. A hand. This is what I'm looking for. He found it. He just stumbled across it.

[10:01] He found it. He got to open it. And when you are looking for God, you find him. When you are looking for God, the problem is, most of us have created our own type of God.

[10:17] Based on your background, your culture, your upbringing, your religious exposure. So, I used to have some guy. This is Pastor O. About 18 years ago.

[10:29] He used to come and see me in the office. Just before Kari started. He used to come and see me in the office. He was born again. And when he's an Indian guy. When he's coming, he calls me, Father.

[10:40] Father. And when he's entering my office, he would take off his shoes. I said, no way. No, no, no, no. I can't enter this place with my shoes. Father.

[10:51] Father. Father. Father. Yeah. Because when you go to places like Saudi Arabia and some of those heavily religious territories. And you are meeting Christians or whatever.

[11:04] And you put your Bible down. You offend them. Because it's a holy book. You can't put it down. You know. Because, see, people project their definition of God on whatever they are doing.

[11:15] And anything called God. So, some of you came to church. And you were expecting that the pastor must be wearing a dog collar. You're expecting that I'll be wearing, I'll be walking barefooted.

[11:32] Or when they say he's a prophet. You're expecting someone with a beard that is out of control. And we're queer looking personality.

[11:42] So, you see, it depends on your. So, when it comes to God. It's the same way people project their expectation of God.

[11:53] So, when you pray and it's not answered. You're expecting. Why didn't God answer? People can say things like, I'm upset with God. No, no. It happens. Because.

[12:05] Because of the kind of God you think you are dealing with. Before you say, I'm upset with God. You have to check the sins you have committed. Why? You should be. Why is he not upset with me?

[12:17] You know, if you know God is a God of justice. And you are dealing with a God of justice. A God. A holy God. Who cannot stand sin. And by no means. Not clear the guilty.

[12:29] Then when you are going to his presence. You are trembling. Because you know you don't deserve it. You don't deserve it. You don't create problems in church. Yes, yes, yes. Because there are already problems in your history.

[12:41] Yes, yes, yes, yes. Yes, yes, yes. I don't like the way that Osher spoke to me. I think you should be quiet. Because a lot of angels don't like the things you have been doing.

[12:59] You should be the last person to complain about church or anybody in church. Because there are things the angels of God know about you. And yet, when they are on duty, they say, okay, you let's protect her.

[13:13] Let's protect him. Yeah. But let's go back. You see, I told you. So, the wisdom and the knowledge of God.

[13:30] How unsearchable are his judgments and his ways past finding. Look at the next verse. For who has known the mind of the Lord or who has been his counselor? You can tell God, God, do this.

[13:40] No, God, you should have forgiven this person. God, you should. Who can counsel God? Who knows what is mine? This week, God surprised. Was it last week or this week?

[13:51] God surprised my family with five days' strange miracle. That was, wow. It wasn't something that I even expected.

[14:04] No. Sometimes you move on. But God has a way of doing things so nice. He can go behind your back and fix things before you realize it's already fixed.

[14:16] Yeah. He said, when you enter the city, you see someone carrying a picture. Ask him, where shall we have? He will tell you. God has already gone ahead. He said, go and catch a fish. Open the map. Ah.

[14:27] What's the probability of catching a fish and that fish has eaten gold money? What's the probability? But I said, just go catch the net. Catch the fish that comes out. I told you God is not a micromanager.

[14:38] Ah. Fishes don't, money doesn't grow in the belly of fish. He managed to maybe cause a fish to eat somebody's money a long time ago. And the fish has now grown and has become very fat.

[14:51] And at that time, God managed. God has a way. So, he says that you can't counsel gold. But look at the next verse.

[15:02] I'm going to verse. He says, who has first given to him? And it shall be repaid to him. Now, let's go to the verse. 36.

[15:12] We have to all read it together. Are you ready? Yes. Let's go. Let's go. For him and through him and to him are all things to do me glory forever.

[15:23] Amen. Wow. Can I have the ladies read it? Let's go. For of him and through him and to him are all things to do me glory forever.

[15:35] Amen. Can I have the gentleman, please? For of him and through him and through him are all things to do me glory forever. Amen.

[15:45] For of him and through him and through him.

[15:58] Amen. How many things? All things. Who told you he's not in charge? Who told you he's not in charge? In the first place, you can divide this into three.

[16:12] Of him. He is their source. Whatever is happening, he's aware of it. God, listen, God can use, he's the only one who can use a crooked stick to draw a straight line.

[16:30] He's the only one who can use wicked rulers to fulfill his own purpose. He's in charge. For your information in Acts chapter 2 verse 23, it says that, According to the foreknowledge and the predetermined counsel of God, they kill Jesus.

[16:49] Yeah. Being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God. You have taken by, they took him.

[17:00] But God was the one who is micromanaging it. So now, if you are in the days of Jesus. In fact, they said it in Luke chapter 24, I think from verse 16 or 17, they wrote to Emmaus.

[17:14] They said that, don't you know what has happened? Two disciples, they were walking to Emmaus. Jesus came and walked by themselves. And Jesus said, what kind of conversation are you guys having? They said, are you the only stranger in Jerusalem?

[17:25] They said, don't you know what has happened? He said, what has happened? He said, about Jesus of Nazareth. How? He said, are you a stranger in Jerusalem? Have you not known the things which have happened there in these days?

[17:37] Go to the next verse. And then they said, what? Like he didn't know what's going on. He said, how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death and crucified him. The next verse.

[17:48] But we were hoping that, watch this. It was he who was going to redeem Israel. Indeed, besides all this is, today is the third day since the end of the disciple.

[18:00] We were hoping, our hopes were dashed. You look at Jesus, but you two, you could have done something. Jesus. How could he have killed Jesus? That's why, no wonder, Peter said, I go fishing.

[18:14] Ministry is not working anymore. But Jesus is dead. Yeah. Yeah. In John chapter 20, 21, he said, I go fishing. He said, I'm going to my old trade.

[18:27] I'm going to my ex. This lockdown, a lot of people have gone back to their old ways.

[18:42] Listen, look at how God is blessing our church. Watch this. How come we don't have our own auditorium? It looks like it's an error.

[18:55] But the micromanager is in charge. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. They just shall live by faith. Yeah. It says that, don't take thoughts for tomorrow.

[19:08] Yeah. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Yeah. Yeah. Luke chapter 12 and Matthew chapter 6. Yeah. Don't be worried about tomorrow.

[19:18] Yeah. Yeah. Because God takes care of the sparrow. Yeah. He takes care of the grass. How much more you, all ye of little faith.

[19:32] What's your job? Is to keep building your confidence in God. Knowing that faithful is he who has promised, who also will do it.

[19:45] Because nothing takes God by surprise. Nothing takes God by surprise. It is us who are surprised. By him, it is the script that is being played out.

[20:02] It's there for, of him. It begins with him. Not with the elections. Not with government policies.

[20:16] It begins with him. Not with your bosses, what they say, and your examination results. It begins with him. Not with the doctors.

[20:29] It begins with him. Do you think the pandemic and the lockdown to God by surprise? No, no, no, no, no, no, no. He's micromanaging everything.

[20:42] Including the vaccines. Whether it's evil or it's good, he's micromanaging everything. Amen. Amen. Right. Because the Bible says, for of him.

[20:55] And when it says of him, he is the source. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord. When we talk about of him, we are talking about eternity past. Amen. When we talk about of him, we are talking about God is the source of all things.

[21:10] He is the architect. Yeah. Yeah. When we say it's of him, we are talking about it's from his sovereign will before everything began.

[21:22] You are, you are, you are, you are being alive. It's because he willed it. You know why you are not dead? No, no, no, no.

[21:34] God has not, it's not part of the script. Oh, but why, how could my father have died like that? That one, I don't know.

[21:45] Follow the script. It's not everything you can understand. And it's not everything you can explain, but you can trust him in everything. What are you trusting him for?

[21:58] You see, the God you don't know, you can trust well. This is called theology proper. I will explain it. Of him, through him, and to him.

[22:12] That is taking about the big God. This is called big God theology. The first part of, of him, through him, to him.

[22:23] Big God theology. Telling you how big God is. If you get this wrong, the next one cannot follow. You can't get the first part of that scripture right, or wrong, and for the next, you get the next part right.

[22:42] But when you get the first part right, your true theology will produce doxology. Yeah. To him be what?

[22:54] Glory. So the first one, theologians called intrinsic glory. That means that you, you, you can't add to it.

[23:05] You can't take from it. It doesn't grow. It doesn't diminish. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. That's the first one. The big God. That who he is, what stems out from him, who he is, the big God.

[23:23] The second one is, the second one is, ascribed glory. When we find out the intrinsic glory of God, we begin to understand who God is. Then we ascribe glory to him.

[23:36] Somebody say glory to Jesus. Glory to Jesus. So, of him, and then not just of him, but through him. When we talk about through him, what does it mean? Within time, everything that is happening in time, is permitting it.

[23:52] Anything God doesn't permit, can't happen. Typical example, when they wanted to kill Jesus. Several times, there were assassination attempts on him, but God said, no, it's not your time. That is why he told the disciples, you can't kill me.

[24:06] No one can take my life from me. This is my life, so I lay down, and then I take it again.

[24:18] Who is in charge? John chapter 10 verse 18. He said, no one takes it from me, but I lay it down of myself.

[24:29] I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. Talking about his life. Who is in charge? I came here to tell somebody, that your God, is their big God.

[24:49] And the big God, whom you serve, is in charge. With regards to your health, God is in charge. With regards to your career, God is in charge.

[25:00] With regards to your family, God is in charge. With regards to your ministry, God is in charge. With regards to your role, from regards to your Him, with regards to your life, God is in charge. With regards to your marriage, God is in charge.

[25:12] God is in charge somebody shout I serve a big God I serve a big God Hallelujah for from him through him he is the goal to him for through him to him that means eternity future the goal to his sovereign glory everything not to us to him to him are all things so whatever is happening in life is of him is through him that is what the bible says boy I think I need to give you one or two scriptures just for you to know that God is in charge in Psalm 33 verse 9

[26:15] Psalm 33 verse 9 let's read the Allah let's go tell me who is in charge he commanded it it was done in Isaiah chapter 14 thank you Jesus verse 24 and verse 26 let's read the verse 24 let's all go verse 26 verse 26 verse 26 verse 26 this is the purpose that is purpose against the whole earth and this is the hand that is stretched out over the__ listen God said to me when I want to do it I will do it Isaiah chapter 46 verse 8 to 11 that's even a powerful one

[27:18] I like this one let's go one more time I can't hear you I thought you said louder that means you can't forget he said don't forget this one remember this and show yourselves men recall to mind remember just prompt yourself to remember recall to mind what should we remember look at the next verse let's go remember the whole thing to walk I am God and there is no love I am God and there is no life if I were you I would be clapping for Jesus hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah this is powerful scripture he said I am God and there is none like me

[28:19] I think it's good to get these things so that when you are going forward in life you know who is behind you when you are trusting God please let me tell you I want to let you know threatening times will come whether you like it or not sometimes you hear some news that will break your heart sometimes you hear some news that will be very threatening and there are some news you hear and you don't know what tomorrow holds it's like your whole world when that happens you see he said remember God said remember remember remember remember remember remember remember what I did for you some time ago that should give you the audacity to trust God yeah he said remember remember the former things of old you were on your way to hell he younged you remember remember remember remember it's more difficult to save someone from going to hell than to save someone from falling sick be God someone say be God be God you got to know that be God let's finish

[29:45] Isaiah is someone learning something at all for I am God can you imagine this is in the Bible how come we don't know this he said listen me I am God me me he's telling maybe he said me I am God why is it all this is a beast stop that and I'm telling you I'm God stop challenging me and start believing me believe that you will see all the glory shout hallelujah hallelujah he said I am God and there is none like me look at the next verse we are going to verse 11 declaring the end from the beginning can you imagine before the thing starts yes you know before you started secondary school he has actually predicted set your your grades A level when you finish how you finish who will be your class which school you get he said it before he began see if you know the big God you won't easily worry you won't be worrying about worrying about details don't be worrying about that it's already it's scripted

[30:56] I'm telling you you are just acting in script because he said from him through him and through him are all things don't be afraid only believe I don't know who I'm talking to God sent me to tell you we serve a big God God now that's the preaching and from the ancient times things that are not yet he has been talking about it saying that my counsel will stand and I will do hey he said I will do all my pleasure so what's your problem what's your problem God sent me what I want I will do so why don't you trust him and keep praising him what I want I will do what I want I will do you want to move from here to Heathrow and you want to go through M4 or A4

[32:01] God said I don't I won't use A4 I'm going through M1 just follow him he's not a man that he should lie because of time the next verse but you know the verse 10 is a quite serious one he said I will do what I'm happy to do do you think any king any government look at what we are reading in Ezra how can a king all the three kings made laws go and build go and build and God all God was doing that scripture is powerful chapter 6 verse 14 of Ezra they had he says that so the elders of the Jews built and they prospered through the prophesying of the prophets that's why you have to keep coming to church and hear a prophetic declaration in this wicked and terrible times when things are unpredictable precarious and hard what you need is the prophesying of the prophets of God and you will still be building you will still be making progress you will still be going forward

[33:21] I prophesied to you that you will do well I prophesied to you that you will do well I prophesied to you that you will do well I prophesied to you I prophesied I am speaking to somebody your heavens are open your heavens are open your heavens are open on the basis of God's word I prophesied to you I prophesied to you I prophesied to you I prophesied to you in the name of Jesus so shall it be somebody shout I serve a big God you have to write it somewhere print it and post it on your mirror put it somewhere I serve a big God serve a big God he is not subject to situations and circumstances he can change the weather he can Elijah could pray rain don't rain and then rain for three years because he was operating by God he said

[34:26] I do all these things verse 11 calling a bed of pray from the east the man who executes my counsel from a far country indeed I have spoken it I will also bring it to pass I have purposed it I will also do it I know God sent me to come and talk to you because it looks like you are losing sight you are losing sight of the kind of God we are dealing with that's why that's why you are so worried that's why you are so fretful you have lost he said remember remember he posts it in in in uh proverbs chapter 16 verse 9 and proverbs chapter 20 verse 24 proverbs chapter 19 verse 21 proverbs chapter 21 verse 1 it tells you God is in charge proverbs chapter 16 verse 9 a man's a man's heart plans his way but the Lord directs his steps it's good to plan but God said what I want to do will happen yeah chapter 19 verse 21 proverbs it says that there are many plans in a man's heart nevertheless the Lord the prime minister has plans the queen has plans who even succeed the queen is already planned but it's God's counsel that will prevail yeah it's the counsel of God

[36:04] Taliban has taken over Afghanistan it's the counsel of God that will prevail God said I'm sending you somewhere I'm sending you to Scotland to start a business and suddenly they shut the borders nothing he said go go during the lockdown I met somebody last week or so he said he came to UK he works somewhere he said he came to UK from I forgot he's Philippine or something like that about a year ago I said at lockdown people were coming so yeah a lot of people were coming yeah people listen it's just that you don't know things are happening and things can happen in spite of who says what when God says yes no man can say no we serve a big God I'm talking to you about the big God theology you got to know he's micromanaging everything including the way your intestines are operating to that detail before I go further to prove it in Matthew

[37:17] Matthew chapter 9 chapter 10 verse 29 look at Matthew 10 29 it says that are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin and not one of them falls to the ground apart from your father's will birds before a bird can fall and die haven't you been seeing foxes on the road died God is okay I authorize it die God yeah before a bird can fall cheap bird God has to authorize it he's micromanaging everything from him through him to him are all things are all things in 1st Corinthians chapter 8 verse 6 says something similar 1st Corinthians chapter 11 1st Corinthians chapter 8 verse 6 it says that yet for us there is one God the father of whom are all things and we have we for him and one

[38:24] Lord Jesus Christ through whom are all things did you see that Colossians chapter 1 verse 16 it is there in clear print it is there Colossians for by him are all really it is there for by him all things were created that is there in heaven God is in charge Ephesians chapter 4 verse 6 one God one God and father of all who is above all and through all and in what are you talking about in Romans chapter 8 verse 28 and 29 for all things work together for good to those that love God and are called according to his purpose for him whom he prayed for know he also prayed for he for new he also predestined to be confirmed to the image of the son that he might become the first one and for those he predestined he also called those he called he also justified those he justified he also glorified who is in charge come on big God is in charge stop fretting and start trusting start trusting that is the entry point of your miracle the entry point of your miracle in Proverbs 21 verse 1 says listen the heart of a king can't imagine can't imagine the king's heart is in the hand of the

[40:11] Lord like the rivers of water you know those times when when it's because there's farming the river is somewhere you need to bring the river they have a way of blocking it and moving it for irrigation the farmers knew how to form the gutters and cause the waters to the way the farmers can control the flow of the water the heart of the queen the heart of the politicians is in his hands let alone your future wife your future husband some of you are so worried about your children if the heart of the king is in the hands of God then how much more your boss how much more are we supposed to get into a big contract with you and grant you that contract how much more your husband he doesn't want to say yes just you say yes to God someone say

[41:18] I serve a big God I serve a big God Genesis 50 20 you meant as for you but as for you you meant evil against me but God someone shout by God so you see God was in charge when he was sold he was crying oh God he didn't know God was micromanaging everything it's of him through him and to him are all things to him the glory to whom is this thing is about God not about your health what about your job not just about your marriage it's about

[42:20] God if you can get your priorities right you will create a platform for God to manifest his bigness in your life because God has been planning and managing to help you and send grace into your life he micromanaged for you to be here tonight for me to preach this message this message is because God is wanting to do his plan it's part of the plan it's part of the plan it's good what happened happened it's good so that what is about to happen will be of God shod shod yeah he's a way maker he's a way maker begin to cry out call that God let your purpose stand cry out to him the Lord let your counsel stand let your purpose stand thank you for listening to this message by David
