Identifying Mixed Multitudes

[0:25] Because for the Spirit to gain an expression in your life, you must be exposed to a wilderness experience. So we have come like a wilderness. Come like a wilderness.

[0:39] Those people who cannot be giving instructions, I feel sorry for you. There's no way you can fly without being subject to instructions. Are you getting what I'm saying?

[0:50] You can fly if you don't like instructions. To catch the anointing. He said, ask me what do you want? And he said, double portion of the Spirit on you.

[1:03] Then Elijah, the one we all read, verse 10, you remember? 2 Kings chapter 2, verse 10. Shall we all read it again? Elijah, let's go. So when he said, you have asked a hard thing.

[1:14] Nevertheless, if you see me when I am taken from you, it shall be so for you. You have asked what? A hard thing. You have asked what?

[1:25] A hard thing. Listen. Ask for something hard. Believe God for something hard. Something that people cannot just go for.

[1:37] So he said, you've asked a hard thing. Nevertheless, if you see me when I am taken from you, it shall be so for you.

[1:49] Wow. So it can happen. On what condition? Keep your focus. We are here for a reason. Keep your focus.

[2:00] That will support you to determine whether you will get it or not. Stay focused. Stay focused. It might be a hard thing you are believing God for, but it's possible. And there's anointing here.

[2:17] There's great anointing here. Stay focused. Stay focused. Unbroken focus is the basis behind success.

[2:28] In Exodus chapter 12, verse 38. When God asked the Israelites to leave, when they were leaving Egypt.

[2:42] Oh, this is so nice. Verse 37. Then the children of Israel. You know Israel?

[2:53] How do we get Israel? By someone looking for blessing. Then the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Sukkot. About 600,000 men on foot besides children.

[3:07] They left. They were going out of Egypt. Massive mass exodus. And the exodus was so good. Unbelievers felt, wow.

[3:18] We also want this. If unbelievers don't get attracted to your passion for Christ. It's not proper passion. Not all unbelievers.

[3:30] But some people still want to be like you. Even though they haven't changed. They also want to come for camp. Because the thing looks good.

[3:41] Everybody is good. When you look at intelligent people are going for camp. Beautiful ladies are going for camp. Some guys are going for camp. You came for camp. You think young people are gathering.

[3:55] So you also, you mix yourself with the multitude. The Bible calls them mixed multitudes. There. And a mixed multitude went up with them also.

[4:07] Wow. And flocks and herds. And a great deal of life. The people were. Their movement out of Egypt was fashionable. So other people wanted to be part of it.

[4:19] Even though they are not part of Israel. Wherever we gather. There will be mixed multitude. Mixed multitude. They will always go. When the church was born.

[4:31] In Acts chapter 1. Then chapter 2. Then chapter 5. Ananias and Sapphira have already infiltrated the camp. God had to clear them out.

[4:44] God had to clear them out. At a very young age. He couldn't afford. God. For this to happen. And then when Stephen went to Samaria. To preach.

[4:54] Philip sorry. Philip went to Samaria. To preach. Acts chapter 8. Bible says that. I think in verse 9. Verse 8 and 9. There was a certain man called Simon.

[5:07] Who previously practiced sorcery. Okay. Sorcery is like witchcraft. And magical activities. In the city. And astonished the people of Samaria. Claiming that he was someone great.

[5:18] I give us the new living translation. A man named Simon. Had been a sorcerer. There for many years.

[5:29] Amazing the people of Samaria. And claiming to be someone great. How about amplified. No. The other one. Message. Previously. Previous to Philip's arrival.

[5:42] A certain Simon had practiced magic in the city. Posing as a famous man. And dazzling. Dazzling all the Samaritans.

[5:53] With his wizardry. And they believed him. But when Philip appeared.

[6:05] With the power of the Holy Ghost. Remember I told you. When the Holy Ghost comes. Power shows. Every time the Holy Ghost comes. Power shows. So when he appeared.

[6:17] With the Holy Ghost power. He himself. Verse 10. From the proper version. Yeah. To whom. They all gave heed. From the greatest. To the dead. This man was a great power of God.

[6:27] That's what they thought about him. But look at verse 11. And they heeded him. Because he had astonished them. With. With his sorceries. For a long time. Huh. But when.

[6:38] They believed Philip. As he preached. The things concerning. The kingdom of God. And the name of Jesus Christ. Both men and women were baptized. And look at what happened. Then Simon himself. Also believed.

[6:51] And when he was baptized. He continued. He followed. He followed Philip to camp. And he loved what he was seeing. The signs and miracles.

[7:01] And all that. Woo. I like this. Former witch. A wizard. Bewitching the people. Soswa. He has changed.

[7:12] But there were evidence. And elements. Of his old life. Still lurking. Yeah. Some of you have changed. But you. The residue is still there.

[7:24] That's why you can't let the girls alone. That's why you can't let the boys alone. That's why you are so arrogant. And proud. That's why we can't even give you.

[7:34] Basic instructions. You have not fully changed. Elements of your old life. Are still in control. Simon the Sosra.

[7:47] Mixed multitude. Simon the Sosra. Has also started following Philip. Then. When the church at Jerusalem. The apostles.

[7:58] When they heard that Samaria had received the word. They sent Peter and John. Who when they came. Prayed that they will receive the Holy Spirit. Verse 15. Prayed that they will receive the Holy Spirit.

[8:13] Ah. And what happened? Look at verse 16. For as yet they had not received the Holy Spirit. Verse 17. Then they laid hands on them. And they received the Holy Spirit. Who laid hands on them?

[8:27] John. Okay. Peter and John. Who came from Jerusalem. Then when Simon. He was also at the camp. So when he saw. That laying of hands.

[8:38] Can bring the Holy Ghost. Ah. He said. This boy. I like him. When Simon saw that. By the laying on of the apostles hands.

[8:48] The Holy Ghost was given. He offered money. You want to spoil the work now. Simon. You are not fully converted. Wow. He offered the money.

[9:02] But thank God for Peter. He is also my role model. He looked at him. And Simon Peter saw. But Peter said to him. Your money perish with you. Because you thought you could buy.

[9:14] You thought. You thought that. The gift of God could be purchased. With money. Look at the next verse. He said. You have neither part. Nor portion in this matter. For your heart is not right.

[9:25] In the sight of God. What?

[9:36] Oh. If it was my daughters. They would run away. He said.

[9:46] Your. This is a serious statement. Your heart is not right. And he said. That's what determines. Whether you have a pattern. Is your condition of your heart. That's why God has sent me.

[9:57] To help you polish your heart. Because you can be here. And people are catching. But you are not catching anything. Why?

[10:07] Because you don't have a path. In this thing. Wow. You are tapping apparatus. To what you take. To tap into the grace. Into the fresh oil.

[10:18] Into the anointing. Is your heart. Right heart. Right heart. Right heart. And right heart cannot be offended. In an atmosphere like this.

[10:32] Jesus said. Blessed is he. Who is not offended in me. Your heart is not right. You don't have a path. In this. Because your heart. Is not right.

[10:42] Then he began to beg. Please. Pray for me. He said. Pray. Pray. Pray to the Lord for me. That none of these things. You are talking about me.

[10:55] Why did he say that? I think. Go back. He said. Full of bitterness. Let's go back. 22. For I see that you are poisoned by bitterness. And iniquity.

[11:09] I see. I can see. Your behavior. Your approach. Your attitude. The way you respond to the word of God. Poisoned heart. He said.

[11:20] You. You. I see that you are poisoned by bitterness and bound. The iniquity will not let you go. You are bound. The thing will not. You have actually believed and following.

[11:32] Why? Why? You still. And it takes. It takes someone. Who has been working with Jesus. To be able to identify you. You are poisoned.

[11:42] You are poisoned. You are poisoned. Then he said. Please pray for me. And none of these things I said. Happened to me.

[11:54] Mixed multitudes. And that's. We are coming here to seek God. But I. It is my responsibility. Other than that. I have not done you justice.

[12:06] To let you be aware. How do we know them? By following the teachings. If you follow the teachings. It will expose them very easily. Because they look like us.

[12:19] They think like us. They do everything like us. So how do you know them? The things I am teaching. The core things. That will expose them. Is what I am showing you. See the way they complain. See the way I don't talk to this person.

[12:31] And some people have. The audacity to fight. Who do? I am. I am. And challenge. I am. I am. Ah. Mixed multitudes. Mixed multitudes. You know what mixed multitudes can do?

[12:45] Let me give you one more scripture. And then we can. Numbers chapter 11. Verse 4. Hey. Mixed multitudes have showed up again. Look at it.

[12:56] Now the mixed multitudes. Who were amongst them. That is the problem. They should not have. They were amongst them. They started. Amongst them. Yielded to intense grave. Do you know what that means?

[13:07] King James please. Fair and lasting. Yeah. Pure lust. Pure lust.

[13:21] You see the lasting. They fell. And the children of Israel wept again. See they started. It started from the multitude. Mixed multitudes. Now the Israelites were all complaining.

[13:31] Because the mixed multitudes. It is their lust that generated some things. We will all be okay. But some people mixed multitudes. Because of the way they think.

[13:42] And their lust. They start complaining about things. That everybody said. It is true. Their food was not nice. Even me. I am having problems in my tummy. I am. I am. I am. Yeah. And the children of Israel wept again.

[13:56] And said. Who shall give us flesh to eat? Now. God is bringing them pure food. They said no. We want meat. Do you know where it started from? The mixed multitude.

[14:08] They started desiring. New King James again. The mixed multitude. The mixed multitude. Who were amongst them. Yielded to intense. Craving is one. That is last. Another word for last.

[14:19] Intense desire. Intense craving. We want meat. And they started saying things like. Remember the meat we used to eat. In Italy. No.

[14:30] Say. Say. You remember the fish which we ate freely in Egypt. Yeah. Because of the mixed multitude. You came for camp.

[14:42] Mixed multitude has activated memories of Egypt. Suddenly what God has given you is not enough. The manna came from heaven.

[14:55] Came. Came directly from God. Suddenly they say it's too boring. It's too boring. Egypt. When we were in bondage. The things we were eating. Suddenly.

[15:05] They remember. I like that one. So Bible says that. Their hearts was back in Egypt. Their hearts turned to Egypt. Even though they were there. That's what we tell.

[15:15] Yeah. And their hearts. And in their hearts. They turned back to Egypt. It's because of the mixed multitude. Nehemiah chapter. 13 verse 3.

[15:26] We have to separate all the mixed world from Israel. We have to separate. That's what's the law. The law is what goes where. He said. This book of the law.

[15:37] Shall not depart out of your mind. He's talking about the book of God. So the law. Stands for God's word. Sometimes in the Bible. When you come across the law.

[15:48] Of God. Like Psalm 119. He said. Your law. Is my meditation. Your precepts. Your precepts. Your law. Your statutes.

[15:59] Your testimony. Your word. They are all referring to the same thing. In Psalm 119. So he says that. Oh how love I your law. That's talking about the word. They are my meditation.

[16:10] He's talking about the word of God. Okay. The word of God. Now. He says in Nehemiah chapter. 13 verse 3. So it was when. They heard. Have someone heard God's word.

[16:23] That they separated. All the mixed multitude from Israel. Yeah. Now that. If you have genuinely heard God's word. Your reaction. Will know whether you heard the word of God. You start to separate.

[16:35] He said. No. This one is. You can spot them quickly. We have come for. Mixed multitude training exercise. So you can discover. You can spot them.

[16:45] This mixed multitude. This behavior is mixed multitude. This attitude is mixed multitude. Because there are things that everybody can do. But the mixed multitude.

[16:57] They can't do some things. They don't have the genuine taste for God's word. Yeah. Is Jesus not so sweet? You find him unsweet.

[17:11] When you are mixed multitude. Have you learned something tonight? Yeah. So we came here to catch the anointing.

[17:24] So we have to be focused. It might look like wilderness. But it's okay. Jesus. The Holy Ghost came on Jesus. He couldn't really manifest on Jesus.

[17:34] Until he drove him to the wilderness. And Satan. The Bible says. Satan tempted him. Let frighten Satan. In Luke chapter 4. The Holy Spirit drove him.

[17:45] The Spirit took him. Let him into the wilderness. After he came on him. He said. Let's go to the wilderness. And after the wilderness. Chapter. Verse 14. Chapter 4.

[17:56] Jesus Christ. Returning in the power now. Yeah. It's after wilderness. That the power begins to show. Return in the power.

[18:09] And guess what? News of him went throughout. Social media. People were just following him like that. He didn't even open an account. People open an account for him. Surrounding riches.

[18:21] Everybody didn't hear about him. He didn't need posters. Flyers. Radio. TV. Nothing. But the news was going around. Why? Because he came. In the power of the Holy Ghost.

[18:33] It was that same power. That Simon the Sostra saw. He said. I want this one too. Peter said. Get out of here. You don't have a part in this. Because your heart is not right.

[18:46] We are here. To take part. Of the anointing. You can catch it. You can catch it. You can catch it.

[18:56] Catching the anointing. You have to catch it. How many of you have tried to kill a fly before? Sometimes you are not careful.

[19:09] You will break some things. That's how you catch anointing. Sometimes you are trying to kick a fly. Then you kick and you fall. When you want to catch anointing. You focus on anointing so much.

[19:20] That sometimes you can't even feel vulnerable. Things that you should have noticed. You didn't notice. It takes a mixed multitude to tell you. Hey.

[19:31] Why are they talking to you like that? Because your eyes are so. Elijah told Elijah. If you see. If you can fix your eye on me. In the spirit.

[19:43] He said. I want anointing. He said. If you go to the. Opticians. And they are trying to check your eyes.

[19:53] They tell you. Okay. Close the other one. Follow this one. Follow this one. You must learn how to focus your eye. On the anointing.

[20:06] On the grace. The anointing does not respond to annoying people. If you don't focus.

[20:18] Keep your focus on the anointing. You become annoying. And you never get the anointing. You only get annoyance. Wasn't Peter angry?

[20:35] Peter was angry. You don't have a part in this. How dare you perish your money? Yeah. He wanted the anointing. But go annoyance. Because his heart was not right. God bless you for listening to this message.
