[0:01] Welcome. Thank you for choosing to listen to this spirit-filled word by David Enshie. When you catch a word, you have caught God. May you catch a word today that will cause God to change your story.

[0:13] Be blessed. Hallelujah! Well, this month has been our, or is our month of what? I can't hear you.

[0:25] What's our? A month of breakthrough. It's a month of covenant breakthrough. And, but I haven't actually taught anything on covenant breakthrough this month.

[0:40] Because I'm busy teaching about Jesus. Because if you find Jesus, everything falls in place. I've really been enjoying the teachings on the gospel, the teachings about Jesus, and the teachings about preaching.

[0:54] And these are basic things that every Christian must know. And I wanted to go in the same direction. But I felt like since this month of breakthrough, let me just take advantage of now.

[1:07] And this today is the last Sunday of the month. And teach on the principles that underget or govern covenant breakthrough. Covenant breakthrough.

[1:18] Covenant breakthrough. What is a covenant breakthrough? A covenant breakthrough is the, what's breakthrough? There's a difference between breakthrough and breakdown. To break through means that something has turned out for your success, which could have turned out negatively or otherwise.

[1:37] So breaking through is breaking forth. For instance, for many years, after we got married, for a few years, seven years, we didn't have a child. And one day, God turned its round.

[1:49] That's a breakthrough. Someone like our brother here, he was sick. Cancer. He was on his way dying until he entered into marriage. Came into marriage.

[2:01] One is the service. What was service? Faith clinic. Miracle. Healing. I declared healing. He said he couldn't even walk. And God gave him healing. And years down the line, he's still agile, alive, and enjoying his life.

[2:17] I mean, that is evidence. That's breakthrough. Some of you, God has given you miracles, testimonies. Strange testimonies are still flowing. Breakthrough. Breakthrough.

[2:28] Someone say breakthrough. Breakthrough. Say breakthrough. Breakthrough. How many of you want some breakthrough? Breakthrough. Breakthrough. How many of you think some breakthrough will do for this year? Oh.

[2:40] See, see, see. Breakthrough has not only got to do with material things. It's not only. There are people who have material things, but they need a breakthrough concerning their son. They need a breakthrough concerning their daughter.

[2:52] They need a breakthrough concerning their family. They need a breakthrough concerning their health. They need a breakthrough. Someone has good health, but some financial breakthrough will do. Yeah.

[3:07] For all you may know, people like Bill Gates, they still need some financial breakthrough. I'm telling you. Yeah. Sometimes you are doing a big project and you really need. Many governments in Africa are looking for financial breakthroughs.

[3:22] So breakthroughs are important. There are people here who are believing God for a marital breakthrough. Yeah. Why are you behaving like you don't know what I'm talking about?

[3:33] What are you talking about? Some marital breakthrough will do. Yeah. Hallelujah. Yeah. And you see, there is a version of theology that is called deism.

[3:48] Deism is a certain type of theology that purports or propounds that God created the heavens and the earth and then is no more in control.

[4:00] He left us to run it. So that's why evil is prevailing because God is not in control. That is a demonic theology. God is Emmanuel.

[4:11] He is not only transcendent. He is also imminent. He is with us. So when he created the heavens and the earth, let there be, let there be. And then when he got to man, he got himself, he created man, and he blessed them and said, be fruitful and multiply.

[4:25] And a man, Noah's day, he had to come in and bring judgment. God is imminent. God is still in charge. Listen, I'm about to make a very strong theological statement.

[4:38] Even the devil is God's devil. The devil is not in control. God is in control. You know the scripture I taught you that I quoted last week or so about Jesus' death?

[4:51] According to Acts chapter 2, verse 22, talking about Jesus Christ, a man attested by God with signs and wonders, with miracles, wonders and signs which God did through him.

[5:03] So he was doing it, but it was God who was doing it through him. That tells you God was in charge. Watch this. And then he says that, which you all know. Look at the next verse. Verse 23 says that, him being delivered by the what?

[5:15] Determined purpose and foreknowledge of God. So when they were killing him, it was God's determined purpose and his foreknowledge. Some other translations use God's determined counsel. It was God's counsel.

[5:27] He had a meeting. God had a caucus meeting within himself. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Anybody who doesn't believe in the Trinity cannot be a true Christian.

[5:39] All right. You don't understand Christianity. You can't separate Trinity from Christianity. So he says that God had a counsel within himself. God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit.

[5:49] They sat down, even though it's a he. He, God, one God, three persons in one God sat down and had a counsel meeting in himself. He said, let's create man. Let us make man.

[6:00] Before everything, he said, let there be, let there be, let there be, let there be, and there was, let there be, and there was. But when it came to man, God said, let us make. In Genesis 1 to 26.

[6:11] So God came together and he did something and he created. Now in the same way, when Jesus was coming to die, it was a counsel meeting. They decided who would go. Jesus said, I'll go. The second person of the Trinity.

[6:22] He's co-equal, co-eternal, and the same with God. So Jesus is not different from the Holy Spirit, different from God. They are all God. Okay. One God. The Jews call it the Shema.

[6:33] Hear, O Israel. The Lord your God is one God. One Lord. When some religions tell you Christianity, you teach three gods, they don't understand. We never teach three.

[6:44] It's one God. Hear, O Israel. The Lord your God is one God. But this one God is three persons. Three persons in one God. Three persons, one nature.

[6:54] Very important. Three persons, one nature. Three persons, one nature. Well, Jesus Christ was two natures, one person. Aha.

[7:06] That's getting a bit theological. So when you saw Jesus on the earth, he was not only man. He had the nature of man. And guess what? He also had divinity. The nature of divinity.

[7:17] He was one man. Without a mixture of the God and man. He was 100% God and yet 100%. Not 50-50. No, no, no, no. Anybody who tells you he's 50, he's not 50-50. Jesus Christ was 100% God and he was 100% man.

[7:30] That is the mystery of godliness. Godliness. Because how can God come to you in his goodness? You can't see him. You run. You fall. No one can see God and live. But God wanted to be with us.

[7:40] Anyway, that's enough. So when it comes to deism, deism teaches and purports that God is not in control. But I submit to you, God is in control. Because even the execution, the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, they did it according to their will.

[7:54] The men, those who killed him, Pontius Pilate and the Jews, they teamed up. It says that whom you crucified. Acts chapter 2, I think verse 36. It said, Jesus Christ whom ye.

[8:07] It was the ye who crucified him. It wasn't God who crucified him. Acts 2, 36. Jesus Christ whom ye crucified. Therefore, let the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made the same Jesus whom ye have crucified.

[8:22] The house of Israel crucified him. In Acts chapter 4, verse 27, 28. It talks about how they teamed up to kill him. It said, truly against your holy son, servant Jesus Christ, holy son whom you anointed.

[8:36] Both Herod and Pontius Pilate with the Gentiles and the people of Israel gathered together. The next verse. To do what? Oh, this is the good one.

[8:47] To do. Oh, my goodness. They gathered together. But what they didn't know was that they were doing what God has predetermined to be done. So who was in control?

[8:59] Is it them or God? Don't use your sufferings to mean God is not with you. That's it. God is God so much that he uses both sufferings and pleasure.

[9:11] He can use anything to fulfill his purpose. Yes, sir. So when you are suffering, don't say God has abandoned me. What kind of language is that? When he has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you.

[9:22] I will never leave you nor forsake you. Don't let your suffering make you forsake God because he hasn't forsaken you. Psalm 23 said, yay! Don't I walk through the valley.

[9:33] I'm going through the valley of the shadow of death. But I fear no evil. For God is with me. Sharius! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Good preachers!

[9:45] Your sufferings are not a sign that God has abandoned you. Oh, wow. Wow. You say, when you go through the fire, I will be with you in the book of Isaiah.

[9:56] That's right. When you go through the waters, I will be with you. That's right. Why is God with me and I'm going through the waters? Because he's God. That's right. Joseph was in prison and yet was prospering.

[10:07] Yes! Yes! How can you reconcile the two? Hmm. Prospering, in prison. Genesis chapter 39. Prospering, he was in prison.

[10:18] And the Lord, verse 21 and 22, somewhere there. Genesis, it says that, and the Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy. Where? In prison. But how can he say, Lord, was with him?

[10:29] Where was God when they were lying against him? Where were God? When they were framing him? Where was God? When they took him through the court system and they found him guilty.

[10:40] Where was God? Whereas God was with Joseph. No, no, no. No, no. It doesn't make sense. You see, when you walk with God, it doesn't have to make sense.

[10:51] That's right. It makes, it must make faith. Yes. Oh. Faith. Faith. You might have all the common sense, but without faith, you miss God, hands down.

[11:03] But you might, you might not have all the common sense. But with God. But with God. You will emerge the winner. It says that Joseph was in prison.

[11:15] The Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy. He should have shown him mercy before the guy entered in prison. I'm not in prison. What is this mercy for?

[11:27] I didn't want to go to prison. But the little did we know that he needed the prison for his palace. He was not going to prison. He was going to the palace. But the route to the prison for him because of his background.

[11:42] Because he wasn't born into royalty. And yes, he was destined for the palace. How would he get there? In God's wisdom, he took him to the prison system.

[11:55] So Joseph needed potty first wife. Wow. It was a process. It was a process. He needed potty first wife.

[12:06] Listen, when you are walking with God in purity and in truth. When those who are hating you celebrate God for their hatred. Thou prepared a table before me.

[12:18] Where? In the presence of your enemies. So when the enemies are not there, you don't have the table. Oh. You need your enemies to have your table prepared.

[12:32] Shaddies! Shaddies! Don't be afraid of your enemies.

[12:45] Thank God for your enemies. Carries, we thank God for our enemies. Jesus needed a Judas. Come on, come on, come on.

[12:57] Not to hurt him, but to help his destiny. But in human terms, he was being hurt. But in divine arrangement, he was being helped. Why?

[13:09] Because he was walking with God. Jesus was walking with God. Well, Joseph had to go through the prison system. In order to. Because he was put in the prison where they put the politicians.

[13:23] So politicians, some politicians in prison needed breakthrough. And God packaged the breakthrough of the politician into Joseph's hands.

[13:36] He didn't have to do anything. Someone had a dream. He said, oh, I can't tell you. He didn't even know that it was the working of God. He said, I can't tell you what the meaning of this dream.

[13:48] He said, well, I couldn't sleep here. And then, okay. The first one, he told him the dream. And then another person had had a dream. Just like he said, somebody is receiving marital breakthrough. And you are sitting there quietly. Until you see someone say amen.

[13:59] Then before you say. So, another one had a dream. Another one had a dream. So, one person had a dream.

[14:10] And the dream, the interpretation was so favorable. So, the other one who never spoke about a dream. When he heard this. The favorability of the first dream. He said, me too, I had this dream.

[14:20] And then he told him, this one, your own is no good use. Your head will be taken off. And just as Joseph said it, it happened. So, the one who received promotion, remember that this guy is unique.

[14:34] And Joseph said, remember me when you get to the palace. But it wasn't for him to do it. So, the guy forgot. Listen, learn how to trust God even in your difficult times. Listen, people need to forget about you.

[14:47] They need to forget about you. So, you won't give the credit to them. They need to. When you are back to nothing, remember, God is up to something.

[14:59] Let people leave you. Let them go. Let them go. Let them go. It's better than one you thought could be your biggest help. It's better than leave.

[15:10] So, that later when it's done, better than you could have imagined. You can say that this one is God. This is God. I know I'm preaching to somebody. Fear not for I will be with you well.

[15:23] So, we saw that Jesus Christ, their plan to execute him, but their planning was just... God had a council meeting and then finished and he passed the action plan to them.

[15:37] He gave them the action plan. And God's enemies fulfilled his action plan. Why? Because their hearts were evil. But that is what theologians call the sovereignty of God or the providence of God.

[15:53] Providence of God is better than a miracle. A miracle is a virgin conceives and gives birth. That is a miracle. But providence, he didn't like you. He was hurting you.

[16:05] And the hurting, he didn't plan to do... And the team, things looked like an accident. It was like things looked like chance. But within the chance, God is working. God has planned everything.

[16:16] So, everything that looked like a chance, for instance, our being here today is not a chance. It is not. How can you assume that human beings came by your eyes? Even your eyes, the way is complex.

[16:27] How can a scientist think that this is by chance? It's by accident. You just emerged from slime. To believe in chance, it means that you are not very...

[16:43] I won't know. Just think again. Because things are not by chance. Somebody told, I think, Renan Bonki.

[16:53] He prayed and God answered and things were happening. And someone said, oh, all those things you people say is answer to prayer. It's just chance. Because you were praying.

[17:05] You wanted someone to help you with your fuel. And then your brother showed up, said, I brought fuel. And he said, God has answered my prayer. He was already coming anyway. So, whether you prayed or not, that's how they... So, I gave a seat.

[17:17] I gave my tithe. I gave my offering. And then something happened. And that's their way to work. They gave me promotion. And they will tell you, oh, your bosses have decided before you give your tithe. And so, you see, you think it's chance.

[17:28] It's not chance. So, they told Renan Bonki that it's chance. He said, well, it's interesting. Anytime I pray, a coincidence happens. So, it's foolishness to be shameful of what is gainful.

[17:41] So, if this thing is working, I will keep praying for... If you call it coincidence, I will pray for those coincidences to happen. God didn't create and leave everything.

[17:52] He is with us. He is working with us. And so, because God is imminent and God is working, according to Mark 16, verse 20, it says that they went everywhere preaching.

[18:03] God... I like that bit. God working with them. God. God working with them. God is still working. God is still on the cross. Jesus, we see him die, but he was working.

[18:14] He was paying the debt on the cross. He was working. That's why he could say to the last time, it is finished. What is finished? My job. I've been working. I've been working.

[18:27] God is working. In fact, Jesus told the Jews in John chapter 5, verse 17, my father worketh, hitherto I work. Yeah. God is working.

[18:37] Tell someone, God is working. God is working. And you got to trust the workings of God. So when we talk about breakthrough, we are talking about, when we say covenant breakthrough, we are talking about the breakthrough that God is behind.

[18:52] It's not by chance. God gives breakthrough. God gives victory. The Bible says that in 1 Corinthians chapter 15, verse 57, it says, Thanks be to God who gives us the victory.

[19:06] God gives victory. Thanks be to God who gives us what? The victory. Through Christ Jesus. God gives victory, but through a certain process. God, those who are asking, if there is God, why are we not seeing the victory in people's lives?

[19:22] Have you gone through Christ? Thanks be to God who gives us. Who are the us? Not every human being.

[19:32] It's very important. Thanks be to God who gives us. So God gives victory. I want to encourage you to know that there might not seem like there is victory in view.

[19:46] But don't worry. Once you have God, God is a victory donator. He gives victory. He prepares victory. Sarah said, for God has made me to laugh.

[19:59] Genesis chapter 21, verse 5. For God has made me to laugh. And Sarah said, God has made me to laugh. Other translations said, God has prepared laughter for me.

[20:10] God has made me to laugh. God has prepared laughter for me. God has given me laughter. God gives laughter. Laughter doesn't mean God is humorous.

[20:22] God is a comedian. No, that's not it. It means that joy, victory, celebration. There are certain celebrations. God is the one behind.

[20:35] That's why any human being who will say they are behind the progress in charis, they are asking for judgment from God. I can't be behind this. I'm not that intelligent to get this happening.

[20:48] Which school can teach me to do that? No, this is not business acumen. It is called an anointing. It is called manifestation of grace. It is called the hand of God.

[20:59] The hand of God is here. Some of the testimonies we heard. How can a man organize that? You can pray, but you can't organize the answers. No. It is a manifestation of God.

[21:14] And so, John chapter 3 verse 2, Nicodemus said to Jesus, no man can do these things. God has not left us to chances.

[21:24] God has not created the world and sat somewhere and singing, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la. One day I'll judge it. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. God created the world and he's involved through human beings.

[21:38] And this morning, I submit to you that your breakthrough is possible. Amen. Amen. Maybe you've tried different ways to secure a breakthrough. Try the covenant means.

[21:50] Try the covenant means. Look for covenant process. I'm enjoying it. A covenant is working for me. Before I got born again, I used to get sick a lot.

[22:00] Every time I would go to sickbay. We were in board. Every time I would be sick. Like skype. Yeah. Every time I would fall sick. So, taking medication was not a problem. Some of you don't like taking tablets.

[22:12] It was a problem for me because I didn't have a choice. I trained myself to like tablets. Until I met Jesus in truth.

[22:23] And that became a thing. I don't do hospitals. I visit people in hospitals when they give birth and they are sick and stuff like that. When I need to do, I will do. But I don't have the luxury of going to hospitals.

[22:35] Because there's no need. I don't have the need. I don't have the need. God has kept me going. Where others travel, I prevail.

[22:45] Amen. No. There is a supernatural element in what is happening in my life. I can't be naive. That naive. To assume that it just came on a silver platter.

[22:57] Or to assume it just happened. No. There is no chance. There is no chance. There is nobody sitting on this front row. The next row.

[23:09] Who can say that since they came to Caris, they met me, they haven't had testimonies. There is nobody. Testimonies. Testimonies. Testimonies. Testimonies.

[23:19] Testimonies. Testimonies. If I have those who since you came to Caris, one testimony or the other, practically, apart from visitors, even people who have not visited, they have testimony.

[23:31] Last Sunday, a certain mother came. He said, I had a testimony during the live stream. And I came to visit. Yeah. It's happening everywhere. But this is God. God.

[23:42] God. We are having services in hotels. And some people say, these guys have God money. This money is talking. Money is not talking. God is talking. God is talking.

[23:54] Let's learn to give the credit to who the credit belongs. So what are some of the things that you do? Because it's my lifestyle. I practice it and I see it. When we wanted a child, breakthrough for a child, I had Bishop Oedepo was in town.

[24:10] And I sent a seed. I sent a check. That time. The biggest check I could give. I sent a check. And I said, let it get to him. I know he's too big. I can't get access to him.

[24:20] But my pastor friend was going. Give it to him. He doesn't need to know me. He carries something I need to work for me. And that was in November or so. After six and a half years of marrying.

[24:32] No child. November, I sent a seed. February, my wife confirmed pregnant. Wow. Without medical intervention. Yes, yes, yes. Wow. Wow. I know how the thing works.

[24:44] I've tried it. I've tried it. We are trying to do a certain project last year. And the devil was fighting us in every way. But you know, when the devil fights, it means that God is about to do something good.

[24:56] Because, I mean, why did Pharaoh instruct that all male boys should be killed? Just when Moses was about to be born. Satan was fighting. But God said, ah. Also, is that your plan?

[25:08] I will make you raise him. That's it. For you to know who is in charge. Pharaoh raised Moses. And when Moses was full age, now turned against Pharaoh. He said, just say yes, the Lord.

[25:19] So, when you come under undue pressure or undue attack, I'm not saying that every pressure and every attack is because God is blessing you.

[25:31] Some of the problems is because you haven't been responsible. Some of the problems people bring upon themselves. Somebody is fighting with your husband.

[25:43] And you choose to take sides. And fight against the husband. And then later on, they make men's. And then now, they team up against you. You say, the devil is persecuting.

[25:57] You brought it on yourself. So, the principles of covenant breakthrough. I think I have seven. So, let me just mention them quickly.

[26:09] Principles of covenant. These are things that are time tested. And it takes a revelation in God's word to be able to practice these things. So, for God to be behind your breakthrough, it doesn't come, it doesn't happen arbitrarily.

[26:22] God doesn't. In fact, the other time, last week or two weeks ago or so, I think I put you on Facebook. That when you pray and you are not getting answers, it's likely God is busy.

[26:34] When you pray and your prayers are not being answered, it's because likely God is busy. And I didn't want to leave it like that.

[26:47] So, I went for busy doing what? If God is busy, what is he busy doing? He is busy fulfilling his word. So, if there is no word content in your prayer, he might not get involved.

[27:00] Because he is very busy fulfilling his word. That's why you got to get God's word. And get God's word in your prayer. Let your prayer be based on what God has said. If God hasn't said it, if he can't trace it in his word, forget it.

[27:14] Every spiritual principle, spiritual practice must be word-based. If it's not word-based, don't make it feelings-based. You don't progress in life based on feelings. Today, I don't feel nice.

[27:26] So, you go to work and then you begin to insult all your clients. No, you don't operate your life by feelings. I'm bored.

[27:38] I'm not happy. I'm bored. I'm upset. I'm bored. And you got a job. You walk out of the place because I'm stressed. I'm stressed. You better grow up. But that's why you won't get a good job.

[27:52] And then you say, the devil is after me. No. I don't want to tell you what it's after. All right. So, quickly. Responsibility. Any faith that makes God absolutely responsible is an irresponsible faith.

[28:05] So, God is working, but we must work. This is just I told you the scripture in John chapter 5 verse 17. My father works, hitherto I work. Why am I working? Because my father is working.

[28:16] So, how is it that you say my father is working either to I fold my arms? So, you have to work. So, what are the practices? Number one, quickly. Seven practices that guarantee or that bring covenant breakthrough.

[28:33] Before I even mention it, I want you to understand that covenant breakthrough means grace of God. Paul, in 1 Corinthians chapter 15 verse 10, he said, I am what I am by the grace of God. So, if the grace of God is not with you, I'm sorry you'll suffer.

[28:46] But, so it's grace. Now, how do you make the grace work? Okay. There are things to do to make grace work. 1 Corinthians chapter 15 verse 10 as I quoted.

[28:59] Watch this. I think you will need to see this. If it's possible. 1 Corinthians 15 verse 10. Is it okay for us all to read it out loud from the screen? All right. If you can see. Let's go. Let's read it. But by the grace of God, I am what I am.

[29:12] And his grace towards me was not in vain. But I labored more abundantly than they all. Yet, not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

[29:22] So, he said the grace of God is like grace has become personified. Grace. Something worse with me is the grace which was with me. But he said, I am what I am. How? By the grace of God.

[29:33] I can't take credit for it. God is at work. Grace means God at work. So, I am what I am by the grace of God. But this is a shocking one. He said, nevertheless, and his grace towards me was not in vain.

[29:47] So, it's like God will be with you to work, but it took me working. There are people sitting here or listening to me who have invalidated, rendered the grace of God invalid. You have invalidated.

[29:58] He said the grace of God was not in vain. You can make it in vain. You can make it in vain. Why? Because of what you are not doing. He said, he said the grace was not.

[30:09] But I labored. There was an actual engagement. Human engagement. I labored more abundantly than they all. So, the reason why I'm better, I'm getting a better result than others is because one is the grace.

[30:24] But the grace, I didn't fold my hand. I worked with the grace. I practiced some things. What are you practicing that will make grace show up in your life? If there's grace on your life, it must show.

[30:37] But it doesn't show because it's there. It shows because now you are putting the grace to work. So, practices. What are the practices to do to engage the grace or for covenant breakthrough?

[30:48] Number one, faith. Faith is not an ideology. Faith is not a religious positioning. Faith is an action. By faith.

[31:00] Abraham obeyed. He blew chapter 11. By faith. Noah, when he was asked to build the ark, he moved. Noah moved by faith. By faith.

[31:10] Sarah herself received strength because she judged him faithful. By faith. Moses refused to be called son of Pharaoh's daughter. By faith. Joseph did not.

[31:23] Joseph became what he had to become in Hebrews chapter 11. By faith. They went through the Red Sea by faith. They celebrated or they observed the Passover by faith.

[31:34] Bible says that. What more can we say? Time will not permit us to talk about Samson, Jephthah, Samuel, David, and all these great ones. Verse 32. Who through the, by faith, stopped.

[31:46] Who said that? Verse 33. Verse 33. Who, who through faith subdued. What did they do? Subdued. Okay. So faith makes you do. Faith is an action word.

[31:59] Faith without actions, according to James chapter 2, is dead. So if you have faith, you have to prove it. Your faith is proved by your actions that are evidencing your faith.

[32:12] And so now when we say faith, faith is not like just like an ideology, but faith is an action word. So what do you have to do to trigger covenant prosperity?

[32:26] You have to take steps of faith. Take steps of faith. Based on God's word. You have to forgive somebody. Don't forgive them based on how you feel.

[32:37] Forgive them based on the word. God, I want a good marriage. There's a problem. But the way you talk to your husband, the grace will not work. The way you are treating your wife, you don't respect, you treat your wife like you are, she's a slave.

[32:55] The same thing. The same thing. I almost said that. That's the same thing your father did. You know, we tend to be like our fathers and mothers.

[33:11] When you want to marry somebody, please check who is raising them. Because you are likely to have that in your house. Some of you, your biggest problem is, your husband is too much like his people.

[33:26] Anyway, so, by faith, by faith, Bible says that in Hebrews chapter 10 verse 38, it says that they just shall live by faith. So, why come you want to break through without faith?

[33:39] The Bible says they just shall live by faith. So, what's your problem? You can't. There's no way around it. You have to be a man of faith. You have to be a woman of faith. You have to take some steps of faith.

[33:50] Coming to church is an act of faith. Engaging in kingdom service is an act of faith. Everything you do, it must be not because others are doing it. Please, wake up. Don't do things because others are doing it.

[34:01] Don't do things because it's popular. Don't do this because it's nice. Everybody's doing it, so I want to do it. No! If you want to, if you want to control or conduct, the one who controls the orchestra will always have his back facing the crowd.

[34:17] Turn your back to the crowd so you can control the orchestra. Don't face the crowd. Don't do what everybody says is okay. Do what faith says is okay. I feel like preaching to somebody.

[34:29] Now, back to preaching. So because of my time, number one, faith. Number two, prayer. Prayer. You got to pray. Brothers and sisters, you have complained too much.

[34:43] Have you turned to the altar to pray to God? And this is not working. I'm not getting there. And this is how they don't like me. And my boss is like this. And my housing is like this.

[34:54] And we know it. And you know what? A lot of people don't care. And those few who might care, they are happy. Your problem is not what they are going through.

[35:06] So you better turn to God. Turn to God. Everybody's got some problem. I'm telling you.

[35:17] We all got problems. I was telling you last year, it's like so much was going on. The animals were trying to fight. When I was going to Kennerland, I took a strong seed.

[35:30] When I say seed, I have money. My own money to go and give to great men of God who I know there's something on your life, bishop. An art bishop. I didn't arrive.

[35:41] I had a residual call from my wife. Things have turned around. We must learn how to tap into what works. It's important.

[35:54] So we got to pray. You have to pray, bro. You have to. What is going on with your wife, with your husband, with your health? Don't put all your hope in the doctor's room.

[36:04] Can't you realize that this will require God? Go to the hospital. But as you go to the hospital, make sure you're also praying at home.

[36:17] Those who are always looking for special men of God to pray for you, I sometimes feel very sorry for you. Because some will pray because it's a job. Yeah, because they like your, hello, pastor.

[36:29] Please, hello. They like it. I mean, they like it. They say, don't worry, I'm praying for you. Most of the people who tell you I'm praying for you, the people who tell you I'm praying for, how many of you have already done? You can't outsource your prayers.

[36:48] Take your personal responsibility and pray. We got to pray. Tell somebody, we got to pray. Sometimes wake up a little early. I know your shadows are very tight.

[36:59] But you can't afford not to pray because the meeting you are going into requires the hand of God. You want to engage God, then pray. Jesus himself, when he came, he was always praying. He would wake up early. He was God on earth, but he was praying.

[37:10] Mark chapter 1 verse 35. A great while before day. He would wake up to pray. And you would sleep through the night. Bishop, have you made a statement? He said, those who sleep all night will probably fail all night.

[37:22] All day. So pray. Tell somebody, I think we need to boost our prayer life. So you got to pray. So faith, prayer. Let me add.

[37:34] Prophetic exposure. What is prophetic exposure? The widow of Zarephath came into contact with Elijah. And her life was never the same. And in 2 Chronicles chapter 20 verse 20, you can write that down.

[37:45] 2 Chronicles 20 verse 20. And Jehoi said, hear, O Israel. So they rose early in the morning. And Jehoi stood and said, hear me, O Judah and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem.

[38:00] Believe in the Lord your God, and ye shall be established. And believe well also his prophets. Now, in those days, it was purely prophets. But in these days, it's preachers. Preachers, prophets.

[38:11] God works, as I taught you the other time. God establishes people through preaching. Yesterday, I was studying my Bible all the day before. I came across something that got my attention. When Jesus said, the spirit of the Lord is upon me.

[38:21] John, Luke chapter 4 verse 18. The spirit of the Lord is upon me. Because he has anointed me to do what? Preach. Not to sing. Those people who think, who makes singing so important?

[38:34] Singing is good. But you can't compare it to preaching. The anointing comes for preaching. He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor.

[38:45] Those who are in need. And look at what he said. To heal the brokenhearted. So, to preach. To heal the brokenhearted. Then he brought preaching again. To preach deliverance. So, the word proclaim is also preach.

[38:57] When you read other translations. He said, to preach deliverance. To proclaim liberty to the captives. Other translations said, to preach. Give me new King James. King James, please. Other translations said, you have sent me the gospel to the poor.

[39:09] To preach deliverance to the captives. So, it is there to conduct deliverance. Preach it. What does it mean? As you are preaching, deliverance is happening. And not only preaching deliverance.

[39:22] We also preach recovery of sight to the blind. Is there? To preach recovery of sight. To preach deliverance to the captives. And recovering of sight to the blind.

[39:34] And to set at liberty those who are bruised. Then he brought preaching again. Verse 19. To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. The preaching you are exposed to will determine the breakthrough you are likely to enjoy.

[39:49] That's what I'm trying to say. So, when I'm praying, I don't have to say, the Lord is telling me. The Lord is telling me. I don't have to say it. If I can preach a good word. Peace. Pure word of God. Christ-centered.

[39:59] I can preach it. I am actually. It's a prophecy in disguise. So, your exposure to the prophet. The exposure to the preacher. Will determine the kind of breakthrough you can walk in.

[40:11] Who is your teacher? Who is teaching you? Who is preaching the word to you? In Romans chapter 16, verse 25. Paul said that God is able to establish you.

[40:22] According to the gospel. And the preaching of Jesus Christ. How can God do it? He needs somebody to preach it. And then he will do it. God was. They went everywhere.

[40:32] They went everywhere. Preaching. And God was working with them in their preaching. Yes. Yes. I like to talk about. That's why I feel. There has been a heightened appetite for attacking preachers.

[40:47] Yeah. Communities that attack preachers don't have a future. Some dodgy preachers have infiltrated the system. Because they see one bad nut will spoil the rest.

[41:02] So, then if you encounter a bad preacher. Another bad preacher. You conclude all preachers are bad. The way some of you conclude that men are trash.

[41:12] Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Not against them. Because you've only encountered the wrong ones. Yes. Yes. Come and encounter some of us. Yes. Yes. Yes.

[41:23] And you realize that men are not trash. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. It's amazing. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Indeed. Yes. Yes. Yes. Preaching has a role. It plays in the establishment of God in people's lives.

[41:36] Yes. Don't let us stone preachers. Yes. Some of them are bad. that's why you really need to read your Bible and believe God. Don't go to people because of your need. Don't go to people.

[41:50] Preachers are not supposed to be people who meet your needs. God meets our needs. The work of a preacher is to help you get closer to God. So, prophetic exposure.

[42:04] Some of us have testimonies because you were exposed to preaching. Yeah. Prophetic exposure. So, number one. Faith. Number two. Number three.

[42:17] Number four. You don't know. I think I need to mention it. Number four. Oh, praise, praise, praise. You must learn how to give God praise. Thank you, Jesus. Some of you, thank you, Jesus.

[42:28] He's so scarce from your mouth. Thank you. Only, oh, God. Why? God, why? Stop that and start saying thank you, Lord. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Even when you hear something that doesn't sound good.

[42:40] Say, thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Jesus. Glory to Jesus. Hallelujah. Let it be a common phrase in your mouth. Because what comes out of your mouth determines what happens in your life.

[42:54] The false prophets. Revelation chapter 16, verse 13. In the first, the Bible says that unclean spirits were proceeding out like frogs were proceeding out of the mouth of the beast, the dragon, the beast, and the foe.

[43:08] When they open unclean spirits. So what you are saying, it matters. And the Bible talks about how God, with the breath of his mouth, in 2 Thessalonians chapter 2, verse 8.

[43:20] With the breath of his mouth, he will execute them, consume them. So something out of the mouth. The mouth plays a major role in the shaping of destinies.

[43:32] And your mouth, Bible says in Hebrews chapter 13, verse 15, that the fruit of our lips, giving him praise, the fruit of our lips. If you want to see the manifestation of God's goodness, you must never run out of praise and thanks to God.

[43:48] Doesn't matter what you are in. Your son has been a problem. Your heart is broken. Your daughter, your heart is, say, Lord, I still thank you. Number five.

[43:58] This one is a very strong one. The giving lifestyle. The giving lifestyle. Some of us are so stingy. It is a concern. Yeah. America is one of the nations that give a lot.

[44:14] And they are prospering. So the giving lifestyle, I can, let me explain it in three ways. One is kingdom, kingdom advancement giving.

[44:26] Okay. Number two is giving to parents. Number three, giving to the poor or the needy. You have to give to kingdom advancement, the things of God. There are people who struggle to give to the things of God.

[44:39] I had a certain story about one lady in America who I know. Someone, a friend of hers was telling me that they were advising her. She attends church. She's a Catholic.

[44:51] And the Catholic church in America sends, I think where they are, sends church members, like tithe cards. So they send it to you so that this pandemic and lockdown, you can still be sending your tithe.

[45:06] Do you know what, sir? When she got the tithe card from, she says, that's my church. She said, stupid people. I should work and give the money to you.

[45:19] Yeah. She said that. She insulted her church. That nonsense. I should be working and giving the money to you. You see, one is because of the people she's been following on social media.

[45:34] And bad teaching. I owe you the responsibility of teaching you how it is in the scriptures. Nobody. Nobody. Nobody can sponsor the work of God. God forbid. God forbid.

[45:44] Not even Bill Gates or Warren Buffett or the richest man in the world. Nobody can do that. Nobody can sponsor the work of God. It's been there for generations. Some of the churches are so wealthy.

[45:56] The Catholic church is like, it has its own Vatican City. The regalia, the bishops, the castle, they wear. It can buy your house. The church of England has so much money.

[46:10] The infrastructure lands. Some of the major, major places in this central land, they own it. They're wealthy. You can't prosper the church. You can't prosper the church.

[46:23] Methodist church. Presby church. And some of, we are also coming by God's grace. We are also coming. Shout yes. We are coming. You can't make us rich.

[46:34] God. Do it. Abraham said, I will not take anything from you. So that you say that I made Abraham rich. Genesis chapter 18. He said, I won't take it. No, chapter 14.

[46:44] One of them. I won't take anything from. Not a shoe latchet. So that you will say, I made Abraham rich. Genesis chapter 14, verse 18.

[46:56] That was somewhere there. Yeah. I will not take it from you. Because he said, I look up to God. The church is God who makes the church rich. Your tithing is not making things light for church.

[47:08] It's meant to make things light for you. Listen, if you don't give, who will know? Who will know? So if we want to buy new speakers and you don't give, God will get some.

[47:22] You see, God is the mastermind. He will let others give. We will buy it. But your money is not part of it. Your money is not part of it. I'm telling you, your money is not part of the church.

[47:33] The running of the church. You dress big. You wear all kinds of big, big stuff. Designer wear. But your money is not. And then you say, I will break through.

[47:44] Pastor, pray for me. I will break through. I will break through. And you are breaking down. You can't see. I will break through. I will break through. If you're a woman of faith, a man of faith, put your money where your mouth is.

[47:59] Very soon, we are going to start building funds. We set it aside. People will commit. Just give. Because we need to buy properties. Yeah. Whose money? You the one I'm teaching.

[48:09] Who? Who? Giving lifestyle is so important to trigger covenant breakthrough. So giving lifestyle, number one is kingdom advancement.

[48:22] What do you mean by kingdom advancement? Get. Give into projects. I read Haggai chapter 1, verse 4 to 10. Time will not permit me. It said, you. You build your own. Verse 4. It said, you are building your own houses.

[48:34] And God's house is in vain. It said that, go to the mountain. Fetch wood and come and build my house. And see if I will not bless you. And if you not do that, the later you got that, I'll come and blow. I'll blow it away.

[48:44] I got it. It's in the Bible. Yeah. It said, you are building your own and you've left God's own. Kingdom projects. When you hear that we are doing projects for the kingdom of God, we are doing this.

[48:56] Get involved. Get involved. Get involved. No one needs your money. Your money needs the connection. You need a blessing in the house. Number two.

[49:07] Project number two. Tithing. So this is what I'm talking about. Projects and tithing. And offerings. And C's. So tithing is true. People say, I don't tithe. I don't tithe. Yeah.

[49:19] You're going. Those of us who are enjoying it. We are doing it. And offerings. So tithing and then offerings. And then one more thing I did in time will not permit me. There's a way.

[49:30] Listen. Listen. It's just I have to say it. I wish I wasn't the one to say it. But truth is truth. Learn how to be a blessing to men of God and women of God.

[49:43] Yeah. It's important for your own health and safety. It is not a money collecting scheme. It's a destiny helping scheme by God. Didn't I tell you we were looking for a child?

[49:56] We had to go and sow a seed. And then within months the thing showed up. How can we buy a child? And I didn't give to him and feeling like I'm doing him a favor. I actually want.

[50:06] I was begging. Let my seed get to the man of God. This year the same thing. And God turned things wrong. God is showing some goodness over my life. Even at our daughter's school. It was through sowing seeds.

[50:19] She said it. She wrote the exam. But we believe God on our knees and in our hands sowing seeds. Bible says the general soul shall be made fat. I can't go too much into that. So those of you who tell you that giving to a man of God.

[50:30] You are wasting your time. You are collecting your money. Keep it. Please, please. Don't give and see. See that if it will hamper a man of God's supply. God has a way of supplying to his servant.

[50:41] In the days of Elijah. The widow. First Kings chapter 17. Verse 10 to 17. Verse 10 to 16. Write it down. The widow said. He said the widow. Give me something to drink. And the widow said. I'm going to get it. And when the widow was going. He said.

[50:51] And make me. Bake me a little cake. He said. Sir. I don't have cake. I don't have food. There's only little flour and oil. I'm about to cook for my son and myself. And we eat and die. Our last meal. He said.

[51:02] That's why I came here. You don't have to die when I'm here. So you just make for me. The prophets said. Make for me first. Me first. Me. Me first. Me first. Because God sent me here. Luke chapter 4.

[51:13] Verse 25. Bible says. There were a lot of widows in the days of Jesus. Unto none of them was Elijah sent to sustain. So Elijah actually was sent to go and sustain. But I tell you the truth. Give me New King James. Yeah. Widows were in Israel.

[51:26] The days of Elijah. When the heavens were shut up. Farming. No food. But there was none. Greg. Through. All right. Go to the next verse. Please. But none of them was Elijah sent.

[51:37] Except. In the region of. And Elijah was sent to go and sustain her. But how did the sustenance happen? By asking. Give me something. Can you take care of my needs? So I can come around you?

[51:48] No. And it turned out. Bible said. They left. Sorry. They left. Many days. The second point is. Give to your parents.

[52:00] Some of you. You don't value your parents. You don't give to your mother. You don't. She's alive. You don't. Listen. Don't give because they are in need. Give because you honor them.

[52:11] There are two different things. Don't be looking for a need. Don't wait for your father to be in need before you give him. Your father might have more money than you. But the principle of giving is not based on need. It's based on honor.

[52:23] And don't give to them something that is not honorable. Don't give what you can. You will get for yourself. And so if this is the iPad you buy for yourself. You think that's what your father deserves. Look at his level and look at your level.

[52:34] Where you can afford. Give him what you will not even do for yourself. And don't do it once and for all. Do it once and again. Once and again. Your mother and your father. Those of you who have been fighting your mother and father. I feel sorry for your future.

[52:46] Your children will fight you out. Yeah. It's not a curse. But it's an announcement. I'm telling you ahead of time. You are fighting your mother. Start changing the game and start honoring. This is work.

[52:57] You want to provoke covenant breakthrough. What are you doing? Honor your mother and father. Give to them. And then finally give to the poor. Bible says that he who gives to the poor learns to God.

[53:10] When people are in need. Help them. Help them. Don't be a hoarder. Be a distributor. Help them. 1 Corinthians chapter 9 verse 9. It talks about giving to the poor.

[53:21] Giving to the poor. It's a covenant. Don't do it because you want people to clap for you. You want to be recognized by a charity. No. So now.

[53:31] What are the practices? Faith. Number two. Prayer. Number three. Prophetic exposure. Number four. Praise. Number five. Giving lifestyle. Number six. Kingdom service.

[53:41] And number seven. Hard work. Kingdom service. And hard work. What's the kingdom service? Kingdom service. Jesus was a servant. People are people who don't serve in church.

[53:55] You don't serve. You don't do out. You are not part of anything. You are like a spectator. You come sit down. And then. Oh yeah. Yeah. Yeah. This was a good preaching. Yeah. The music was so good.

[54:06] I mean it's good to acknowledge that. It's nice. But it's about time. You also get involved in one capacity or the other. There's something you can do. Which other cannot even do like that. So find ways to get your physical abilities involved in the building of God's work.

[54:20] And serving of God's people. There are too many scriptures. I can't give you that. Because my time is up. And so. Service. And then finally. The last one I mentioned. Hard work. I am what I am. By the grace of God.

[54:31] First Corinthians chapter 15. Verse. Verse. 10. I am what I am. By the grace of God. Never delays. The grace was not in vain. Why? Because I labored more.

[54:42] See. Labor. Labor. So if you don't labor. You are invalidating grace. There are people who are not working. But they are expecting God to bless them. How? How? You want God to steal the money and bring the cash.

[54:55] No. Miracle money. Miracle money. There must be a system in place. Yeah. You need a system in place. You need a system in place. So hard work.

[55:05] Some of us we work very little. But we are expecting more money. That's fraud. That's what the fraudulent people do.

[55:18] They also work anyway. No. You have to work. Clean work. Clean work. Commendable job. And then believe God.

[55:29] That God will bless their work. God can bless what you are doing. Yeah. God will bless their work. He said the works of your hands. Not the thoughts of your mind. The works of your hands. So nevertheless I labor.

[55:43] I labor. By God's grace. I don't do too much as I want to. But I labor. My wife will tell you. I push. I push. We have to work.

[55:54] What else is this? We have to work hard. Push. And create the platform for God to be able to bless you. Covenant blessings. Covenant prosperity. Response to these seven things I was talking about.
