The Teachings Of Christ We Believe

[0:00] Welcome. Thank you for choosing to listen to another faith-building message by Pastor David Entry. Faith comes by hearing and by hearing the Word of God.

[0:12] May your knowledge of Jesus Christ increase as you listen. Be blessed. This fasting, one big thing that should stay with you and change about you is how you are believing God.

[0:25] You get to a time where no storm, no hail, no hailstones, no high water can discourage you because your believing God is not based on the supernatural occurrence.

[0:41] It's based on the fact that you have put your faith and your whole trust in Him. You move forward quickly. Then He started teaching them. He taught them. When He finished teaching, look at verse 16.

[0:55] Verse 58. Jesus said, this is the bread which came down from heaven. Not as your fathers did eat manners and are dead. They ate and they are dead. I don't want you to repeat that.

[1:06] I can't give you what you eat and you don't answer. It is not the problem. As you do what you want to be, then listen to the things of fasting. He says that, and are dead.

[1:17] He that eats of this bread shall live forever. Verse 59. This is said he in the synagogue and he taught. He taught. He taught.

[1:27] And as he taught in Kappenum, he was teaching. He was teaching. He was drawing the attention. Teaching draws your attention to something. Wow. Preaching draws your attention to something.

[1:42] So a church that is only food of preaching, preaching, preaching, preaching, preaching. Sometimes when storms come, the people may not survive. Wow. You can enjoy your mind to notice something. That storm can come and you can't record it.

[1:54] Yes, yes, yes. You know in whom you have believed. Thank you. Yes, yes, yes. I am persuaded. Yes, yes, yes. Yeah. Verse 60.

[2:05] What is, after teaching, you know, what is this teaching? Verse 60 says, many therefore of his disciples, there are no followers. They were actually disciples. Yeah.

[2:17] Yeah. So, many, not a few. God hides himself and he reveals himself through certain agents related to your life.

[2:28] Yeah. They are related to your destiny. Yeah. You are a prophet. Locate your prophet. Locate where you are located.

[2:39] I have some. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Unnecessary struggles. Sometimes things will look like, things are beginning to turn good in your favor. It's just a matter of time.

[2:50] They will all turn over 10 because you don't have the installation it takes to sustain. You'll crash. You'll crash. Some of us sometimes don't forget what is chasing people from your father's background, your mother's background.

[3:04] What is chasing you from your own history. You need to locate yourself where your location is. Yeah. This is how I say. That's why you do anything to dislocate you because suddenly you don't see from heaven's perspective.

[3:18] Let me finish this. And watch this. Verse 60 says that, Many therefore of his disciples, when they heard this, said, This is a half day.

[3:30] Who can hear it? You see, what is this? They didn't have problems with his testimonies, his miracles. Their problem was the teaching. Jesus himself.

[3:41] Why do you think the world, not even disciples' world, what makes you think the world will find our teachings exciting? Exactly. Exactly. Every fighter who has great following from the world is doing something wrong.

[3:55] Wow. That's a strong one. Let alone the world. Wow. And please, don't let us target to be in bed with the world.

[4:06] No. You don't need that. It's nice to know people like you. It's nice to know people stand for you. But unfortunately, they will like us and like our actions and who we are until they hear our message.

[4:20] The Bible says that, When he says to me, what is your sin is had, and that his disciples remembered at it, he said unto them, does this offend you? Yeah. Remember. He said, are you offended by my teaching?

[4:32] Oh. My miracles didn't offend you. It's my teachings that will change your story. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. You receive the bread from heaven. You have to believe in the teachings. It doesn't matter how long it takes.

[4:43] God will come through for you. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Because you already are feeding on the bread from heaven. Wow. Yes. Yes. The teachings you believe in, you determine what you take home.

[4:54] Your portion. Mm-hmm. In the race of life. Now watch this. Jesus said, if you see the Son of Man ascended, that one will believe in the worst. And he said, the worst I speak to you, they are straight and they are alive.

[5:07] Spirit. All right. Verse 64. This is the word. Watch it. But there are some of you who do not believe. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not and who should betray him.

[5:21] And watch this. And he said, therefore, therefore I said to you that no man can come to me except giving to him from the Father. Verse 66. John 6, 6. He knew himself what he would do.

[5:33] John 6, 6, 6. 6, 6. Yeah. After they have eaten from John 6, 6. John 6, 6. There's that. From that time, many of his disciples went back and walked no more.

[5:44] Wow. People leaving you doesn't mean you are doing something wrong. Yes, yes, yes, yes. Usually, when you are even walking with God, people will leave you. Yes.

[5:55] Ah, yeah. They left Jesus not because of the food. Not because he wasn't a nice person. Those people who have made Christianity about niceness. About niceness and about speaking out for those who are suffering.

[6:10] About how you are kind, how you are nice. Those things are important. They just play out when you walk with God. Jesus was kind. Yes, yes, yes. But they would not accept him.

[6:21] Why? Because of the teaching. Christianity is about the belief of Christ. Or the teachings of Christ which we believe. We have committed our hearts to it. We believe. Fine. Do you believe this?

[6:33] Do you believe it? And by myself, many of them did not walk with him again. And then he said to the rest. Many of them, then he said to the 12.

[6:43] Will you also go? Then Samuel Peter answered and said, to whom shall we go? That was true. What do you have? He didn't say you have the bread. What? He didn't say you have the bread. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

[6:53] He said you have the words of eternal life. What are you focusing on? Is it the teachings or the testimonies? Wow. When you have the teachings, your life is a testimony.

[7:07] Wow. When you go for the testimonies, you always keep running after something else. Every time they send me for something else. Wow. When you have the teachings, you connect your heart, your life becomes a testimony, and your life begins to overflow from one testimony to the other.

[7:25] Yes, yes, yes, yes. And you start becoming your worship. Amen. Believe in the Lord. Somebody believe not because you are believing to receive him, but believe because you are believing that he is the son of the living God.

[7:39] Yes. What determines your position in God? Your faith? He said, to whom shall we go? Don't just chase the bread. Let this be your prayer.

[7:50] That, oh God, that I will know you more through your word. I will know you more through your word. That's why it's a prayer time, but I've come teaching. Yeah. I love it. He's more interested in what is in the spirit of your mind than what's going on in your feelings.

[8:06] Yes, yes, yes. You'll be crying. You'll be crying. But through the difficult times, you are getting to know God better. Yes, yes, yes. You are getting to know God. He's the spirit of truth. John 16, 13.

[8:18] Yes. He's the spirit of truth when he comes. He's the spirit of truth. Truth has to do with your understanding. Wow. Wow. Wow. Get around your feelings. And grow up pursuing God to know him.

[8:31] To know him. And when you know him, then you can understand life. When you know him, the more you know him, the more life solutions. Life will change. Yes, yes, yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.

[8:41] Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Until you know him, Jesus could calm the storm. Why? Because he was so deep in God. Wow. Wow. What's the point here? The point I'm making is that John chapter 6 is teaching us that don't settle your Christian life on physical benefits.

[8:59] Move into the level of just your faith is hinged. Your confidence is hinged in the word of God. Yes. And that's final. Lock your confidence in there.

[9:11] Anything the word of God says, say, I believe it. I accept it. I believe. Thank you. Thank you. I pray that God will help us. Amen. Go from glory to glory and from faith to faith.

[9:24] Yeah. The Bible says that with the heart man believes. Yes. Believing is in your heart. Basically, your heart. Romans chapter 10, verse 10. With the heart man believes. Man believes.

[9:35] Your heart. That's why you have to guard your heart. And load it with the word of God. Because once you believe, your testimony begins to follow. Thank you. Thank you.

[9:46] To all who call on his name. How can you call of whom you have not believed. Yeah. Yeah. To see the riches of God, you start from believing.
