[0:00] Thank you for choosing to listen to today's message by Reverend Dr. David Etchley. We know you will be blessed as you seek and serve God. We believe that this message will stir up a desire for more of God even as you listen.

[0:14] Be blessed. Thanks be to God. Trust God. How do you trust God? Obey His Word.

[0:26] To how? Trust God. Two, how do you trust God? Make up your mind. How do you trust God? Make up your mind.

[0:37] Make up your mind and stay focused. Make up your mind. Don't change your mind. Don't give up. Three, how do you trust God? Patience.

[0:48] Wait patiently for Him. It does not matter how long it takes. It doesn't matter how long it takes. The songwriter said that He may be four days late, but He's still on time.

[1:01] Lazarus, God, Christ, may be four days late, but He's still on time. He is on time. And God is turning your captivity around in Jesus' name.

[1:16] Tonight, I want to talk the fourth point. How do you trust God? How do you trust God?

[1:27] If you trust God, you will call on His name. Prayer is an expression of trust in the prayer answerer.

[1:43] Prayer is an expression of trust in the God who alone answers prayer. Prayer is an expression of trust in the faithful God.

[2:01] So, great men of old always prayed. The Bible says that is anyone afflicted.

[2:11] James chapter 5. Let him pray. Or another version says, is anyone in trouble? Let him pray.

[2:22] He should pray. In Philippians chapter 4, verse 6, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer.

[2:35] In everything, God's cure-all solution. God's cure-all solution. God's cure-all prescription for any earthly human problem is prayer and supplication.

[2:55] He said, be anxious for nothing, but in how many things? Everything. So, he said, in everything.

[3:05] How do you handle everything? By prayer and supplication. Now, listen to the point here. When you are not anxious, but you are praying, that means that you have moved away from the realm of anxiety to the realm of trust.

[3:23] Because prayer is an expression of trust. How can you say, I trust God, and you are not praying? How can one say, I trust God, and you are not praying?

[3:35] Why? Because when, watch this, when you pray, it's an expression of dependence on God. Because why would you pray if God can't help you?

[3:48] Why would you pray if you don't need the help of God? Why would you pray if you don't expect anything from God? So, the mere fact that we pray is an expression of trust in God.

[4:00] But some of us do not personally, on our own, engage in personal and private prayer. Prayer is so important that when you look at the variety of things that fill a person's day, the number of things that fill a person's week, the numerous activities and events that fill a person's month.

[4:31] You can tell the value of prayer as compared to the accumulated time spent eating.

[4:44] Some of us, much of your time is eating. Some people even have more time eating than sleeping. The accumulated time in a week you have spent on food or on consuming food.

[5:05] The accumulated time you have spent on watching television. The accumulated time you have spent on checking your text messages or your WhatsApp messages.

[5:18] The accumulated time you have spent on Instagram. The accumulated time you have spent on YouTube. The accumulated time you have spent behind the television.

[5:30] The accumulated time you have spent shopping. Shopping. Online. Online shopping. The accumulated time you spent checking on people, spying on people, Facebook and that thing.

[5:48] Is it stories or status? Yeah, status. The accumulated time you have spent watching people's status. Some people have plenty. We watch all. Then you finish, watch the next one.

[6:00] Then you finish, watch the next one. And compare it to the accumulated time you have spent praying. Most Christians, statistically, averagely spend 14 seconds praying every day.

[6:21] 14 seconds. And that is before eating. Many believers. Many believers. Many believers. Many believers. Many believers. So, you see, you are crying foul.

[6:35] Why hasn't anything happened? Oh God. But instead of worrying, pray. Your prayer level is so low. Why are you surprised you haven't seen major covenant supernatural changes in your situation?

[6:50] You have complained to everybody. Everybody knows what you are going through. But you haven't spent time communicating it to God.

[7:02] You just mentioned it to God. God, you know what I am going through. God, you know. You know. You know. You know my sorrows, Jesus. You know. You know. You know. And some of us convert our prayer into singing.

[7:16] You know. Pray. Pray. Some of the singing. Pray. It's also my style of praying. Can't you check the inventory?

[7:27] Is it delivering for you? Pray. Pray. Pray. Pray. Use your. Guess what time you have to use biblical words. Guess what time you can use some words that have been used by songwriters.

[7:41] in prayer. But much of the time, besides biblical words, which are very fundamental, you need your own words. You too have words. Because we don't pray, we run out of words.

[7:54] We run out of prayer vocabulary. The repertoire in a prayer reservoir is very, there's not much repertoire.

[8:06] Your reservoir is very dry. Because we don't engage in much prayer. How can one claim that I'm trusting God when you are not always on your knees?

[8:18] We must learn how to go on our knees. He says, pray always. Pray always. First Thessalonians 5.17 said, pray without ceasing.

[8:34] Colossians chapter 4, he said, pray always. Philippians chapter 6, he said, sorry, Ephesians chapter 6, he said, pray always. Always. Prayer is a clear expression of our dependence on the God who answers prayers.

[8:54] Praying. Praying is a clear manifestation, clear expression of our dependence, of our trust in the God of heaven.

[9:07] That is why when we come for service, we spend time praying. When we are fasting, we spend time praying. Because God answers prayers. God answers prayers.

[9:19] And when you trust in God, you will be given to prayer. When you trust in God, you will be given to prayer. Prayer. Pray a little bit more, sister, about that situation.

[9:33] Pray a little bit more, brother, about that situation. Pray. Let's give ourselves to prayer. Because there are times that things might be, we might be going through some things.

[9:45] And God, that thing, God's plan is for the thing to draw us closer to himself. Prayer. Prayer. When you trust God, you will pray.

[9:58] I want to show you something in Psalm, before I go to Psalm 13. Would you mind looking at 1 Timothy chapter 5, verse 5?

[10:14] Now, she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, trusted in God, and continues in supplication, prayers, night, how often?

[10:30] Night and day. The one who trusts in God continues in prayer and supplications, continues in supplications and prayers, night and day.

[10:41] Night and day. Night and day. The phrase night and day stands for constance. So, you are constantly praying.

[10:52] You are constantly praying. You are constantly praying. Because some of us are dealing with certain situations. Do you know what? I will show you some things that sometimes God will allow a situation to last in your life.

[11:09] Because as long as that situation is there, you will pray. So, for instance, Paul the Apostle in 2 Chronicles, sorry, 2 Corinthians chapter 12, verse 7.

[11:20] He said, because of the abundance of revelations that was given I had, there was given to me a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan. Can you imagine? Lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of revelations that was given to me a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to buffet me, to buffet me blows.

[11:42] Lest I should be exalted above measure. And what did I do about this? He said, this thing I went to God. And for this thing I besought the Lord how many times?

[11:54] Three times. That tells you he prayed and prayed about the same issue. That this thing might leave me. Without that problem, he wouldn't have been to him three times regarding that.

[12:11] If he had the solution, he wouldn't go to God. But when you don't have the solution, it forces you. And if you trust that God can do something about it, then it forces you to go to God.

[12:23] Oh, how concerning it is for someone who is in a certain crisis, believing God for intervention, and is not in a critical health situation.

[12:42] And at a time like this of fasting, they don't bother to join. They don't bother. But, you know, having just been watching and enjoying this thing online, Carice is actually, I'm not a member.

[12:54] You don't need to be a member to receive a blessing. You don't. So, if we are fasting and you cannot. Why? What stops you from fasting?

[13:04] Since we are not meeting physically. You might be in America. You might be in Jamaica. You might be in China. You might be in Australia. You might be in Nigeria. You might be in South Africa. You might be in Russia.

[13:15] You might be in Ukraine. Wherever you are, you might be in India or you might be in Brazil. Wherever you are, it doesn't matter. There's no distance because we are all at the same time tapping and tapping into the same grace.

[13:31] And so, what I'm trying to say is that some of us, we might have to add a little bit more of determination and seriousness to our pursuit. Because when the fasting is going on, looking at what you are believing God for, you should even determine that I'm going to fast more.

[13:49] I'm going to do it dry with water alone or just eat something little. But you are not fasting. And this is the time you actually, your appetite has risen high.

[13:59] You are coughing and consuming every food that passes in front of you. Whenever you finish, you are coming to receive declaration.

[14:21] Jesus says, this guy does not go except by prayer and fasting. Matthew chapter 3, 17, 21. This kind, this kind, the thing you are dealing with, bro, your family have been fighting this thing for a long time.

[14:37] However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting. So, it's not declaration. Prayer and fasting. And it makes the declaration seamless, work seamlessly.

[14:51] I see you receiving your testimony. I see you receiving your testimony. So, we have to, if we are depending on God, then if you are trusting on God, we have to depend on him.

[15:05] Or we have to put in efforts, efforts that you know, I'm doing this because I trust in God. I'm taking this test because I'm trusting God. I am giving myself to this exercise.

[15:18] I am a shun dahaya because I trust in God. 1 Chronicles chapter 5, verse 20. Look at what it says. God delivered them because they called on him. They trusted him.

[15:29] And they were helped against them. This is the people of God fighting against some enemies. And the people of God were helped against the enemies. And the Hagorites, the Hagorites were delivered into their hand, and all that were with them.

[15:48] For why? Why were the enemies delivered into their hand? For they cried to God in the battle. And watch this. And he was entreated of them because they, oh.

[16:01] See, when you trust, how did God know they trust him? Because of the way they cried to him. They cried to God. And God, Bible says that God was entreated. That means that God was moved on their behalf.

[16:14] He heard their prayer and answered their prayer. Because, all right. He said, he hid that, okay, Nicky James says, he hid that their prayer because they put their trust in him.

[16:26] Why did he hear their prayer? They put their trust in him. So they trusted God. What was their expression? They prayed. A trusting person praying moves heaven very fast. When somebody who trusts God begins to engage in prayer, I'm telling you, there is no force of darkness.

[16:50] There is no force in hell that can be able to stand against you. Bible said God delivered. God helped them against their enemies.

[17:02] Yeah. So you think it's just that guy is strong. He has a strong army. But they were helped against them. They were helped against their enemy. Their enemies were the Hagrites.

[17:15] And the Hagrites were delivered into their hand. And all who were with them. Why? Because they cried out to God. In the battle.

[17:27] In the battle. When the battle was going on. These people trusted God. So when the thing hit a certain level, they said, let's do what people who trust God do. Because. Ah.

[17:39] Malaba Hayasa. I'll go back to the battle. Let me show you something. This scripture is too strong for me to wait. Psalm 20 verse 7. Psalm 20 verse 7.

[17:51] Some trust in chariots. Some trust in horses. Now when you talk about chariots and horses. You are talking about these are the things you need to reign in those days.

[18:04] An army with chariots. That's why Pharaoh's chariots were stopped. God dismantled all Pharaoh's chariots. Because when you have chariots, it's like you have armored vehicles.

[18:16] Armored vehicles. Yes. Automatic rocket propelled grenades. Yes. That's the swords. Yeah. I'm telling you.

[18:32] All kinds of ammunition. So chariots and horses. When you have horses, it's like you have jet fighters. Those days. And so he said, some trust in chariots.

[18:46] Others trust in horses. But what? What? But we can't shut down. He said, but we will remember the name of the Lord. In other words, we are trusting him.

[18:59] We can't forget about our God. We will trust him. How do you trust him? By remembering to call upon his name. The man was helped in battle because in the midst of the battle, he called on the name of the Lord.

[19:13] When it was time of battle, he was fighting. He called on the name. He called on God. And Bible said, God was entreated. God heard their prayers. Answered their prayers. Because this guy trusts me.

[19:26] More, rababa, shada, hayaba. Le, bababa, bababa. Some trust in chariots. Others trust in horses. But we will remember the name of the Lord. Trust God.

[19:38] In Psalm 7, verse 1. 7, verse 1. He said, O Lord, my God. Indeed, where I put my trust? Wow. Save me from all them that persecute me and deliver me.

[19:50] This is a prayer. This is actually a prayer. Why? Because he trusts the Lord. Save me. Verse 11. Sorry. Chapter 11, verse 1. I'm sorry. Chapter 11, verse 1.

[20:03] It says that, in the Lord put I my trust. Wow. How say ye to my soul, flee as a bird to your mountains. No, I won't go anywhere.

[20:15] God will help me. I won't change my position. God will help me. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Psalm 18, verse 2. Psalm 18, verse 2.

[20:28] The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer, my God, my strength, in whom I will trust, my buckler, the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

[20:39] See, you have to have this kind of mind about God so that when you are calling on his name, you know who you are calling. It's your fortress. Fortress is a stronghold, a place where when you run to a time of battle, you are safe.

[20:51] They can't come there. God is my fortress. Not only my fortress. He's my rock. Those days, they used to live in the arid lands or in the desert woods and stuff like that.

[21:03] They used to live side by side with some wild animals like huge bears and lions. And usually when, let's say, you're going and you see a bear, a huge bear coming to get you, or a huge lion coming to get you, some of them, they are rocks that have got some scavengs inside.

[21:23] So you, the human being, can go into the rock and hide in the rock, and the bear cannot enter, can't come. So they said, the Lord is my rock, either a rock that I stand on or a rock that I hide in.

[21:38] So I think in Psalm 46, I think 41, either 41, it says, Hear my cry, O Lord, attend unto my prayer.

[21:51] Hear my cry, O Lord, attend unto my prayer. Psalm 41 or Psalm 46, I guess so, or 61, somewhere there.

[22:02] It said, Hear my cry, O Lord, attend unto my prayer. From the ends of the earth. Yes, 61. Hear my cry, O Lord, attend unto my prayer.

[22:14] It said, From the ends of the earth will I cry to thee. From the ends of the earth. Do you know what that means? My back is against the wall. My back, there's no way out.

[22:24] I am at my wit's end. From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee. When my heart, is there someone here, you feel your heart is overwhelmed?

[22:35] It said, When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I. So I can hide under, hide under the rock. Hide me in the cleft of the rock.

[22:46] There's a song that says that rock of ages, cleft for me. Let me hide myself in thee. It's a cleft, cleft, cleft. It's just like, that's the, you get cleavage from, you know.

[23:01] So, it said, When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I. Now, in Psalm 18, it said, The Lord is my rock. He's my fortress.

[23:12] He's my deliverer. He's my God. He's my strength. Listen, you are never without help any day. You are never without help. If you can trust in God. If you can trust God, you are never without help.

[23:25] You are never without help. They are never, never. It says that, verse 13 says, The earth for God, His way is perfect. The word of the Lord is tried, and He's a buckler to all those who trust in Him. He keeps you secure in life.

[23:36] God is a buckler to all those who trust in Him. I see heaven helping you. I see heaven helping you. Now, Jesus Christ, this is called the Messianic Psalm, Psalm 22.

[23:49] He really was talking about Jesus in a lot of ways. Psalm 22, verse 1. He said, Eli, Eli, lamaq sabachthani. So, Jesus on the cross, He was actually quoting Scripture, you know. Yeah?

[24:00] In His most difficult days, when He was stressed, when He was pressed, pressed, He opened His mouth. His cry was Scripture. Eli, Eli, lamaq sabachthani.

[24:12] He was quoting Psalm 22, verse 1. When you are under pressure, what comes? Swear word. When you are under pressure, what comes into your mind?

[24:22] What flows out of your mind? I'm tired. I'm tired of all these things. I'm tired. Negative confessions. Negative confessions. Oh, I don't know why. How old is it? I just, I'm giving up. Please, please, please, please load the word of God into your system so that when the lights are off, you know you are safe.

[24:39] Can you trust God when the lights are off? The more you are maturing in your work with God, you don't mind walking in the dark because you know He's with you.

[24:50] You can trust Him in the dark. You don't have to get explanation. You can trust God. And I'm here to tell you, trust God. Trust God.

[25:02] Trust God. I don't know what's going on, Pastor. I don't know what's going on. It's like, what's going on? Haven't you read Psalm 13? Haven't you read Psalm 13, verse 1, verse 2, verse 3, verse 4, verse 5?

[25:18] Haven't you read Psalm 13? He said, how long? I was actually going to read Elie Elie. Let's go to Elie Elie Samantani and come back. No, let's leave that. It's okay. Jesus was crying on the cross.

[25:28] In fact, He said, they shake their heads at me. And they say, verse 7 and verse 8. This is, I just, I think time will not permit me. All that see me laugh me to scorn.

[25:42] Is that what's happening to Jesus on the cross? They shoot out their lip. They shake their head saying, verse 8, He trusted on the Lord that He would deliver him.

[25:54] Let Him deliver him. See, He delighted in Him. Sometimes, you know people who are shaking their heads at you. Yeah. They are shaking their, he, he, he, he.

[26:06] Yeah, those are, yeah. He said, he said, he's doing an encounter first. Let's see. Let's see. Now get a job and let's see. Get a house and let's see.

[26:17] Everybody is getting married. Marry and let's see. Yeah. Get a good job and let's see. They shake their head, especially when they know about your unfortunate condition in the human sense.

[26:32] It looks unfortunate. They know about it. And they use it against you. They know there's no money. You really don't have money. And they saw they've clamped your car.

[26:42] God forbid. Then you have to keep paid, paid, so that they don't come and clamp your car. Now it becomes a prayer topic. That is your, you brought it on yourself. But, and they laugh at you.

[26:54] They know you don't have, you are sharing a flat with a family or some people. And the month is about to end. And they know you don't have it. And they pressure you. And they say things indirectly, insinuations.

[27:08] And you know, oh God. Eli, Eli. Labak sabbatani. What's going on with me? Look at Psalm 13. Is that, hey, is that not what Hannah did?

[27:24] Hannah. She had a rival who provoked her soul. First Samuel chapter one. She provoked her soul. Soul. Bible said, she, King James said, she provoked verse four and five or so.

[27:36] She said, she provoked six. And her adversary also provoked her soul. For, to make her fret. Because the Lord has shut up her womb.

[27:46] She said, I can't take this anymore. And then her face, everybody could see that this woman was morose, was not happy. And the husband said, listen, my darling, I love you. Why are you, am I not better than ten, ten, ten, ten, ten?

[27:58] You don't understand. And you are trying to explain the problem away. He told, I know you love me, but this situation is beyond just you love me. Then Elkanah, her husband, said to her, Hannah, Hannah, why are we pestering?

[28:10] You are crying, Hannah. Stop it. Why are you not eating? Look, you are losing weight. Hannah, stop it. Why is your heart so broken?

[28:22] Am I not better than ten sons? Oh, you don't understand. And sometimes you wonder, why me? What's going on? And this is, somebody is pushing me to pray.

[28:35] Hannah was pushed to pray. If you trust God, sometimes God will allow some of the circumstances because Penina could have just said, let's share my child. Let's share my children.

[28:46] And she wouldn't have made her afraid. And Hannah wouldn't have been pushed to prayer. If you trust God, when difficult situations come, the first thing that comes on your mind is, my God, called on the Lord in the day of battle.

[29:02] And watch this. The Bible says that this woman frustrated her. And Hannah, Hannah, I believe that Hannah prayed a prayer that looks like Psalm 13.

[29:13] She prayed a prayer that looks like Psalm 13. Look at Psalm 13. She said, how long? How long? How long would thou forget me? Oh, Lord, how long? How long?

[29:24] How long? I know someone. I'm talking to somebody. How long? How long? And he says that, how long will thou hide your face from me? It looks like God.

[29:35] God is playing hide and seek with me. I've done everything. They say, scream, I've screamed. Oh, I've scrum. Your scream is not screaming.

[29:45] You scram, actually. They say so, I've sued. They say sing, I've sung.

[29:58] I mean, everything. They say fast. I've done it. My fast is with several F's in front of me. I've done it.

[30:10] They say we are doing 21 days. I've done 41. How long? How long? How long will I be waiting, Lord? Lord, how long?

[30:21] Look at what they are doing to me. Look at verse 2. How long? Verse 2. How long? How long? How long shall I take counsel in my soul?

[30:33] Having sorrow in my heart daily? Cover the hand. Yay. I am announcing to somebody. You have been fretful. You have been sorrowful. You have been worrying.

[30:44] But I'm announcing to you. The days of your sorrows are over. The days of your mourning are over. The days of your shame are over. The days of your mourning your head are over.

[30:57] The days of people pitying you and feeling sorry for you are over. In the name of Jesus. How long? How long?

[31:09] They look at me and they shake their head. How long shall my enemies be exalted over me? How long? How long shall my enemies be exalted over me?

[31:21] Consider and hear me. Oh Lord my God. Lighten my eyes. Lest I sleep the sleep of death. Because I need some light.

[31:33] I need some light. I need some light. Daddy don't turn off the light. Daddy don't turn off the light. You're walking in darkness.

[31:43] You lose light. You can't even see God. You seem to be by yourself. That's where we see how much you are willing to trust God. And sometimes God knows you are of age to be able to trust him through these things.

[31:58] One day, Reverend Ishtudanaba said something. Great man of God. God bless you, Papa. He said something that was so strong. But he said one day in his preaching.

[32:11] He said that there are certain people. You can be a pastor or something. If this thing happens to you, God can't trust you. Because you end up becoming a drunkard.

[32:22] He will say, I've had enough. Because some people, God cannot trust them with a certain situation. Now watch this. If you are going through what you are going through. And God is still with you.

[32:35] That means God knows you will be able to handle it. So trust him. Trust him. Trust him through the storm. And when you trust him, you will always. Please, let people stop hearing.

[32:50] Every time your pillow is wet crying. People are hearing you cry. I'm not saying it's not realistic. I mean, it's human. But how about they hear you? Thank you, Jesus.

[33:01] I will trust you. I trust you. I know you will be able to help me. My help is in you. My help is in you. It's okay to cry. But it depends on who you are crying to. In the middle of the battle, they cry to the Lord.

[33:16] You might be crying to people, crying in the situation. But it's good to cry to God. When you trust God, cry to him. Listen, brothers and sisters. As I bring you to our net. I bring this message to your clothes.

[33:27] Listen, brothers and sisters. It's not everything you understand why it's happening. You are in the dark. He said, Lord, lighten me. Let's just leave the sleep of death. Because it's like darkness has surrounded you.

[33:39] You are wondering what's going on. Listen. No. Gosh. Oh. I'm prophesying to somebody. I'm prophesying to somebody.

[33:50] Somebody is having encounters with God. Somebody is having destiny-changing encounters with God. Thank you, Jesus. You might be going through things and it just doesn't make sense.

[34:06] Why? Why? Why this? Why this? Why now? Why now? How? What am I going to do about it? Lord. Listen.

[34:16] Listen. Listen. Some things might be going on and you will never understand it. When it doesn't make sense, don't seek to understand it. Don't seek to understand it.

[34:27] Satan will give you an explanation. Satan will give you his version. Don't seek to understand it. That's what I'm trying to tell you. Just trust God through the storm. Hey! Trust God through the storms.

[34:40] Brother. Pastor. My sister. Trust God through the storm. They said, oh, it's because of this. That's why you deserve it. Because of ABC. Please leave that.

[34:52] Trust God. Trust God and call upon him. He said, I called upon him. And he had me out of his holy hill. I cried unto the Lord with my voice.

[35:02] Psalm 3. I cried unto the Lord with my voice. And he had me out of his holy hills. I cried. He said. I cried. Many there be who serve me.

[35:14] There is no help. There is no help for him in God. Psalm 3. Verse 1. Oh, how are they increased? How are they increased? Who laugh at me? Who look at me? How are they increased that trouble me?

[35:26] Many are there that rise up against me. Why? Why? They are increasing. My enemies are increasing on the left. My enemies are increasing on the right. When I look behind me, my enemies are coming in front of me.

[35:40] They are coming towards me. Where can I go? Why? How they have increased. That trouble me. Many are there that rise up against me. Verse 2.

[35:51] Thank you, Lord. Many there be which serve of my soul. There is no help in God. There is no help for him in God. There is no help for him.

[36:01] They have defined how things are turning for me. They are sitting there and mocking me. There is no help for him in God. Some of them are family members. Some of them are my own friends.

[36:12] Some of them are my classmates. My work colleagues. They are seeing my demise. They can see my situation. They can see my unfortunate, seemingly unfortunate circumstance. They can see how unpleasant my condition is.

[36:25] Sometimes, listen, brothers and sisters. It's not every problem you can hide. The woman with the issue of blood, she could hide her issue. And you wouldn't know she had the issue of blood. But I know some of you listening to me, you have an issue you cannot hide.

[36:39] Your issue cannot be hidden. Your issue cannot be hidden. Everybody knows that you've been married for a while. And you don't have a child. You can't hide it. And some people keep asking, when are we seeing our little one?

[36:51] Oh, sometimes it feels like you should enter the flesh and tell them your head. But you can't do it. You leave it to God. I know of a pastor who got married and the wife couldn't have a child.

[37:05] The wife couldn't have a child. The mother of the pastor, the pastor's family, started sometimes they could call from overseas to the woman.

[37:16] He said, we need our grandchild. We need our grandchild. What is this? Are you the only one who cannot give back? Why? Look, others are giving back. We need pressure upon pressure. But thank God for good women like her.

[37:29] Because you know what? They went to St. Thomas, King's College in Camberwell. They went to do the test and all the tests. Everything about the woman was okay.

[37:39] The problem was with the man. The problem was with the man. His sperm count was practically nothing. And the problem, but the pressure was coming from his people.

[37:51] Give us a baby. Give us a grandchild. But this woman accommodated it all and kept trusting God and kept trusting God. Her husband, a good man of God.

[38:03] He also trusted God. He also trusted God. And God came through for them. God came through without the proper amount of sperm count. God gave them a first son.

[38:13] And then God gave them a second son. And then God gave them a third girl. Oh, I'm taking a third one. Who is a girl? I'm telling you, when you trust in God. As for God, his way is perfect.

[38:24] The word of the Lord is tried. And he's a buckler to those who trust in him. Trust God. If it doesn't make sense, just keep trusting God anyway. Just keep trusting God. And when you trust in God, you will call upon him.

[38:37] He said, how have they increased that trouble me? How have they increased? And they say about me, there's no help. There is no help for him in God. Hey, there is a buck. He said, but thou, oh Lord.

[38:48] Rabada, bababaya. Ram, bababababa. Yandele, babababaya. Shahaya. Rababasha. Bada, oh Lord. Bada, oh Lord.

[39:01] Bada, oh Lord. You are a shield for me. You are my glory. And the one who lifts my head. You are my glory. I know. I know you will help my family.

[39:12] I know you will help my life. I know you will help my marriage. I know you will help my health. I will not go down to the pit. My enemies will not have their final love. They will not have their final say.

[39:25] Die, oh Lord. As a shield for me. You are my glory. And the lifter of my head. Verse 4 says, I cried unto the Lord. I cried unto the Lord.

[39:37] I cried unto the Lord. I cried unto the Lord with my voice. And he heard me from his holy hill. When you trust in God, when things go rough, you cry unto him.

[39:51] Is that not what Hannah did? Hannah cried. She called on the name of the Lord. She called on the name of the Lord. And because some trust in chariots.

[40:02] And they trust in their systems. But we will remember the name of the Lord. We will remember the name of the Lord. Let's finish the verse in Psalm 13.

[40:15] He said, verse 2. How long, how long, how long shall I take counsel in my soul? Having sorrow in my heart daily.

[40:26] How long shall my enemy be exalted over me? The next verse. Consider and hear me. Oh Lord, my God. Lighten my eye.

[40:37] Lest I sleep the sleep of death. The next verse. Hear me. That means I'm praying. Lest my enemy say I have prevailed against him. And those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.

[40:50] The next verse, please. But I have trusted in thy mercy. We thank God for using his servant, Reverend Dr. David Avery, to share this awesome word.
