Description

If you want God to bless you, you need to know why God blesses materially and physically. To procure blessings, you need to walk by faith. Walking in faith happens by walking in the word of God. Every believer who wants to see the blessings of God in a great way must be a master of applying God’s word.

[0:00] Welcome. Thank you for choosing to listen to another word-filled message by David Entry. Preaching is the means by which God manifests His Word and nourishes our spirits. May the life of God enter into you and you as you listen to this message. Be blessed.

[0:17] Faith to be blessed. And I want to go straight into the text. One of the things I want us to understand is Proverbs chapter 10 verse 22.

[0:31] It says that the blessing of the Lord makes rich and it adds, it maketh rich and He adds no sorrow with it.

[0:44] The blessing of the Lord makes rich and adds no sorrow to it. Now, we understand from the several teachings we have been exposed to in this house that it takes faith to access everything God has got for us.

[1:02] So, in order to be able to enjoy the blessings of God, in order to be able to enjoy or walk in the blessings, in the power, in the favor, anything from above, in order to walk in it physically, to see the physical manifestations, number one, fundamentally, it takes faith because the just shall live by faith.

[1:26] We walk by faith and not by sight. So, your faith, my faith is a necessary aspect for your thriving, my thriving, my progress in God.

[1:40] Without faith, it is impossible to please God. So, that means that to procure the blessings, physical blessings, marital blessings, financial blessings, one needs to walk by faith.

[1:54] You need to walk by faith in others to see what God has got in stock for you. And I speak into your life this day that you shall enjoy the blessings of the Lord.

[2:07] Hallelujah. Amen. When you walk under blessings, you need faith. Faith. How do you exercise your faith to be blessed? To exercise your faith.

[2:18] Now, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. And so, there's nothing exceptional that it takes to walk by faith apart from walking in the Word of God. Number two, the Word you know which you obey is the Word which works for you.

[2:36] The Word you obey is the Word which works for you. So, every believer who wants to see the untold favor and blessings of God on their life must be a master.

[2:51] Every believer who wants to see the blessings of God in strange dimensions or in any dimension must be a master of applying God's Word which you see and you know.

[3:02] So, if God wants to bless you, He will send a Word. He will send a Word. When they watch this, when the Word of God comes and hits your spirit, it has the capacity to generate faith.

[3:18] And now, that faith, when we then choose to exercise the faith, we choose to apply our faith, work in obedience to God's Word.

[3:29] That is faith. Working in obedience to God's Word and taking steps based on what God's Word has said. Whether it feels nice, it doesn't feel nice. Once we begin to do that, guess what?

[3:40] We then activate the physical manifestation of the Word or the physical manifestation of the blessings, of the favor, of the fruits loaded in God's Word.

[3:53] So, in Isaiah chapter 55, it says that even verse from this, Now, it says, Then it goes to the verse 10.

[4:08] It says that, So, in other words, when the Word of God is sent to you, when the Word of God comes to you, it has an objective to accomplish something in your life, to produce certain fruits in your life, which will be godly fruits, which will be the fruits of God, which will also be the manifestation of the goodness of God.

[4:49] And so, God works with His Word. So, for you to walk by faith, you have to be exposed to the Word. Once you are exposed to the Word, and when the Word comes in, it gives you what it takes to be able to apply the Word.

[5:02] So, having not heard the Word, you might say, as for me, I can't do this. This is what you are doing. I can't. As soon as the Word of God comes, and you receive the Word of God into your heart, the Word of God now has the propensity to donate, okay, to generate what it takes to believe the Word.

[5:20] So, that we can't, I can't even boast. If I'm able to forgive, because the Word of God said I should forgive, and I'm forgiving based on the Word I know, I can't say it is my personal strength.

[5:31] No, it is my, watch this, it is my determination to obey the Word that has produced the result. But that determination, that ability to obey the Word does not fundamentally come from me, because in Philippians chapter 2, it said, it is God who is at work in you to will.

[5:48] So, even the determination, the desire to do it, is God who is, which works in you, both to will and to do of His good pleasure. So, when the Word of God comes, it allows God to work in us.

[6:01] And now, watch this. In James chapter 1, verse 25, it says that, But whoever looks into the perfect law of liberty, now, for your information, the law of liberty means the Word of God, and continues in it, therein means in it.

[6:17] Give me the new King James, please. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty, and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer. Watch this, watch this.

[6:28] But! So, the Word comes for us to be doers. The Word comes for us to do. But a doer of, watch this, of not the Word, but the work.

[6:38] So, when the Word of God comes, it comes with prescriptions. And it also gives you the ability to will to do it. Just that, some people choose, oh, the ability, the Word has come, but I won't do it.

[6:53] I won't do it. Oh, maybe another time. So, the unwillingness to do it is a choice. Well, after you have heard the Word, I'll say it again. The unwillingness to do the Word, to obey the Word, is a personal choice.

[7:09] But the willingness to do it, it's a donation. It's giving. So, it's giving to everyone who hears the Word. Now, once we all hear the Word, now, it's best as anyone who has received the Word has the ability, the inborn, the innate ability birthed by the Word you have heard, to be able to will, to obey the Word, and then to do the work.

[7:36] He said, but he's not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work. This one will be blessed in all he does. Did you see that? It's specific to the one who is.

[7:49] There is a specific blessing. As I taught the other time when I was teaching on blessings, I said the Greek word for that blessing is makairos. Sometimes it's translated happy.

[8:01] So, when Jesus, in Matthew chapter 5, from verse 1 to 10, there is a blessed are the poor in spirit, for this is the kingdom of God. Blessed are they that, blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted.

[8:15] Blessed are they meek, for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness. Blessed are they. When you say blessed, when you read the NIV, the NIV uses the word happy are they.

[8:28] Happy, because makairos means happy. Something favorable is working for you. So, to be blessed is very important to understand what it means to be blessed. To be blessed means something or the actual Greek word, okay, blessed is eulogia, to speak well of.

[8:46] To speak well of. So, it's like something has been spoken well of, or you have been spoken well of, or a good thing has been spoken on you by a supernatural authority.

[8:57] And watch this. It is not beginning to have bare fruits. It's not beginning to have physical manifestations. So, watch that. Every blessing always manifests.

[9:10] Let's say I have this. I have this. And he said, this one is blessed. They are two friends, but this one is blessed. On what grounds? What's the benefit of the blessing if it doesn't have an impact on the life?

[9:21] What's the benefit of the blessing if it does not have any difference? It doesn't make any difference in a person's life. So, that means that when a blessing comes upon you, it makes a difference.

[9:31] When others are going down, you'll be going up. Oh, I see that happening for you. Amen. Blessed, it means favored are you. Happy are you. Well spoken of are you.

[9:43] Something is meant to work for you. So, when God appeared to Abraham, he said, I will bless you. That means that, and Bible says that Abraham became rich, and Lot also who went with Abraham became rich because of the blessing.

[9:58] And in Genesis, I think, 25, I think Genesis 25, somewhere there, 1 to 5 or 6, Bible says that, or 24, Abraham 7, 24, says that my master, God has blessed my master.

[10:13] And he's rich, that's Genesis 24, somewhere in the 60s. He said that in the 50s or 60s. God has blessed my master Abraham with camel, with cattle, with that, with that.

[10:26] And then when you read chapter 25, I think from verse 5, it talks about how, yeah, verse 35, the Lord has blessed my master greatly, and he has become great.

[10:39] Did you see that? See, become. You might not be, but you can become. You can become what you are not. Listen, you become great minister of the gospel. Amen.

[10:50] Effective destiny changer and impact maker. Amen. Amen. So, he said, God has blessed my master Abraham, and he has become. I might not be what I want to be, but I know with the grace, the grace will make me, I will become.

[11:09] I will become. You, listen, let me say this. Let me just interject this. Let me use this word. Ontologically speaking, that is the state of existence. God is the only being.

[11:21] B-E-I-N-G. We are usually called human beings. Am I right? Yes. We are usually called human beings, but we are not actually beings.

[11:33] We are becoming. We are human becoming. God is the only unchanged changer. So, he is called the supreme being.

[11:45] He is. He said, when I go to Pharaoh, who should I say you send me? He said, when you go, say, I am that I am. Exodus chapter 3, verse 14 to 16.

[11:55] Say, I am that I am. Because I am. Tell me, when I go to, sorry, the people of Israel, verse 6 or so, what should I say is your name? Say, I am who I am. I am. So, who are you?

[12:06] I am. Are you a capital? I am. Are you a deliverer? I am. Are you a God of blessing? I am. Are you almighty? I am. Are you always with us? I am.

[12:17] He said, whatever you need me to be at any given time for you to see the goodness of God in your life, I am. I am. So, he said, when you go, tell them I am. Tell them I am.

[12:28] I am the God. I am who I am. I am that I am. I am that I am has sent me. So, now, God actually blesses. He's a God who blesses.

[12:41] He's the only supreme being. But we are becoming. So, I am announcing to you, don't get stuck with what happened in the past. Don't get stuck with the negative thing that happened to you.

[12:53] Don't get stuck in the, oh, I don't know. My life is finished. My life is, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. We have been born again unto a lively hope. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

[13:04] Living hope. First Peter chapter 1 verse 3. We have been begotten. We have been born again unto a living hope. Unto a lively hope. Shout hallelujah. Hallelujah.

[13:15] Hallelujah. Don't say, I'm finished. I'm finished. My finish. My world has ended. I failed an exam. So, I lost my job. My world is, and so don't say my world is finished.

[13:27] My world is ended. It doesn't matter what comes your way. You are becoming. Joseph was put in prison. He was put in prison in the dungeon. But guess what? Look at what happened. He made the champion.

[13:39] Because God was with him. Hallelujah. Amen. He said to somebody, God is with you. God is with you. He said, only will forsake you when you forsake him.

[13:51] Wow. He said, if you forsake him, he will also forsake you. But as long as you are with him, he is with you. God is with you. And your life is going to move from one level to the other. So, God is making us.

[14:03] And Abraham 7 said, God has blessed my master, and he has become great. As a result, his greatness was a product of the blessing. He has become great, and God has given him flocks, heads, silver, and gold, male and female servants, and camels.

[14:25] I mean, the man was blessed. Genesis 12, verse 1. The Bible says that God came to Abraham and said, leave your mother's house and your kindred. And then verse 2 says that, and I'll make a great nation of you.

[14:38] Watch this. And I will bless you and make your name great, and you shall be blessed. So, God said, I'll bless you. That's why when Abraham left, he started expanding. That's why Jews are still so wealthy and so well-off and doing well.

[14:52] And a lot of great inventions in the world were discovered or made by Jews because of the Abrahamic blessing. What I'm trying to establish is that when God blesses you, it shows.

[15:05] From today, the blessings will begin to show in your life. Amen. People say, everybody's blessed anyway. Please, please, please, please. We are, once you are in Christ, Ephesians chapter 1, verse 3 says that, Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with spiritual blessings.

[15:22] That's spiritual blessings. I'm talking about the manifested blessings. Spiritual blessings. You say, look, you are blessed with spiritual blessings, and look at how your life is so dry.

[15:36] Dry, frustrated, and everything is working against you. No, that's not necessarily a manifestation of the blessing. Because when God is with you, people even fight against you.

[15:47] Things might backfire, but you will still, you will be moving, you will be making progress from one level to the other. Because when God is with you, human beings were not made to be moving backwards.

[15:57] You were created to go forward. And so when God blesses you, things work in your hands. People may fight you. People may pull you down. Things might can be, life can be hard.

[16:09] But guess what? You will still be seeing progress. You will still, that's why I believe every student, every student who is a believer must be able to study and do well. Amen. Amen.

[16:20] You are blessed. But if you are not hardworking, then your hopes, aspirations for manifestation of blessings, or the manifestation of blessing in your educational life will be just pie in the sky.

[16:34] Because it only comes through hard work. Hard work. Instead, you will bless the works of our hands. If your hands are not doing anything, what is it going to bless? The blessing of God will always, watch this, invariably show up.

[16:49] It will show up. The church is blessed. That's why no one can stop a church. You can't. In fact, the church does better in times of persecution. In times of persecution, when there is religious restriction, the church does better.

[17:03] When there is religious liberties, all other people also begin to flourish, except the church doesn't flourish properly. There is the tendency and the propensity to relax when things are comfortable.

[17:15] But I see you rising up like as an army and doing exploits for the name of the Lord in Jesus' name. Amen. So the point I want to make is blessings are the manifest.

[17:29] Okay. How do you access blessings? I said faith, accessing by faith. Okay. Faith for blessing. So how do you access? You need faith. You need faith to operate.

[17:40] Now, once you are in faith, there are certain things to do in order to see blessings in a certain way. If you want to have a good marriage and you are married, apply the word.

[17:52] You want to do well in your studies? The word of God said, be diligent. Bible says that the diligent soul shall be made fat. Okay. So the more diligent you are, the more your opportunities multiply.

[18:03] Diligence means hardworking. Anyone who is hardworking, works hard, has more opportunities than the lazy. Anyone who is lazy always ends up losing many opportunities in life.

[18:16] And then you say, oh, they don't like me. It's discrimination. You are lazy. Don't say discrimination. This one is the work of laziness, not the work of discrimination. It's because I'm a man, they don't like me.

[18:27] Because I'm a woman, they don't like me. Because of my race, they don't like me. Because of my looks, they don't like me. Because of my assent, they don't like me. Somebody with your same assent and same race and same gender is doing well in that same place.

[18:41] Because of my life, I'm a man, I'm a man, I'm a man, I'm a man, I'm a man, I'm a man.

[19:11] Listen, you still have to put in hard work. Work hard. Push yourself. A talent alone is not enough. I know since you were 13, when you touch people's hair, it's like gold.

[19:24] You are such brilliant with hairdressing. But how about when you have added some academic sense and you have done research, you can tell the difference between scarves and hair.

[19:35] And you know it and you are so gifted with it as well. And you work so hard. I'm telling you, you will do well. I say you are gifted and you will not develop it.

[19:46] You will not. I mean, if you are flying and you go into the plane and the captain comes and he said, you know, I've never been to any piloting. No, I was just gifted from a time.

[19:57] I think you have to come. Yes, yes, yes. Yes, yes. When you are about to, you are in the, you, you go to theater. Someone is in the theater and about to do operation. And the doctor, the surgeon comes.

[20:07] He said, hey. I'm one of the gifted surgeons ever. I've never been trained, never been to. So don't worry. You say, please, let me die in this sickness. So please don't.

[20:19] The problem is when you are young and they keep telling you are good. You are good at this. You are good at this. You are good at this. And praises, praises are necessary to strengthen a child. But where everybody is thinking you're a president, you are not being corrected, you are likely to fail in life.

[20:34] Because if you are not careful, you will think you are better than you actually are. You might be living amongst blind. And because you are one-eyed, you think you are a king until you leave the company of the blind and you realize that you are actually in trouble.

[20:51] So you have to broaden your horizon. Put in work. Put in work. So every word is a doer of the work. Before you shout, I will be blessed, make sure you have this mindset to, one, do the work of the word.

[21:08] Do the work of the word. And you'll be blessed. I'm telling you, the blessing is already on you. It is looking for opportunity to manifest. That is the blessing that comes to everyone who is born again.

[21:19] However, there are some things that when you do, you trigger blessings. You trigger manifestations of blessings. And that must be done by faith. There are people who are believing God for financial breakthrough.

[21:30] Miracle money. Miracle money will be hard to come by if you are not applying the kind of divine instruction that brings miracle money.

[21:41] Very important. Miracle money will be hard to come by if you are not applying the best. And draw your attention to the fact that there is a reason why God will bless people. There is a reason why God will bless people with physical and material substance.

[21:56] Not so we can wear or have the best. No, that's not why God. God is not blessing you with money so you can buy houses and live in a house with three swimming pools and then flush money and live very expensive.

[22:14] No, that's not why God blesses you. So if that has been your desire for getting money, I think count God out. He's not behind that. God can be you. If you want God to bless you materially and physically, then we have to understand why God blesses.

[22:28] Why will God bless somebody physically? There are things that we do that when God sees that we are faithful in band A, he will move us to band B. When you are faithful in band B, he will move you to band C.

[22:40] But some of us, God is taking you to band 10. Let's assume there is band 10, level 10. You are in level 2. And you get to level 3. And then level 4, you become very proud, very pompous.

[22:53] And you begin to compromise on that thing you are doing that brought you from level 1 to level 4. You stop doing it. You stop doing it. And then what happens?

[23:04] You cut off the divine supplies. You stop the divine flow or you stop the divine continuum. In the same way, you were doing outreach and you could see God is blessing you.

[23:16] There are people who when they join church, they are so passionate. They are doing that. And I found out sometimes when they don't have anything and when they don't have a job, they will always be in every service until they have a job.

[23:29] And they take on more roles. And they know this role I'm taking is going to affect my commitment. But they say, no, the money is good. I'll give more money. No, no, no, no, no, no. God has always, first of all, wanted your heart.

[23:43] Your heart. He says that sanctify the Lord. 1 Peter chapter 3. We quoted it the other time. Sanctify the Lord in your heart. Sanctify the Lord in your heart.

[23:54] Separate Him in your heart. Sanctify the Lord God in your heart. So it's your heart. The heart of the matter is a matter of the heart. The heart of the matter in this, our dealings with God is a matter of the heart.

[24:08] And I see God working on our hearts and giving us a glorious name. Amen. In His name. Somebody shout amen. Amen. Now, why, why would God, why does God bless?

[24:21] Why? Why? Deuteronomy chapter 8 verse 18. Why would God bless us with physical things? Not so we can let people know we are better than them. No.

[24:31] Not so we can, we can revenge what they did to us. We will revenge it. No. Not to make us look good and prove a point. God does not actually bless you to prove a point to your enemies.

[24:43] He blesses you for His own glory and His own purpose. It's not important. So you see, Joseph got it right. That is why he kept rising. Joseph, when his brothers came, his brothers said, please, don't kill us when our father dies because of what we have done against you.

[24:57] He said, no. Am I in the place of God? I can't kill you. I, you meant what you did. Genesis chapter 50 verse 19 and 20. He said, you meant it for evil.

[25:09] Joseph said to them, do not be afraid for, for am I in the place of God? You meant it for evil. But as for you, you meant it for evil. You pulled the trigger knowing that there was bullet inside.

[25:22] So you were finishing me. But when you pulled the trigger, the bullet had already, is a fake bullet. You meant it for evil against me. But God, the same thing you were using to hurt me.

[25:34] God meant it for good. That it, the it. You're trying to kill me was the, is the it. You were intentional on killing me. But God also used your, your activity, your action of killing me to in lifting me.

[25:48] Why? In order to bring it about us. It is this day to save many people. So it's even not about me. That's what Joseph said. It's not about me.

[25:59] Please. I know some family members did not treat you well. I know your step family has not been good to you. I know your ex has not been good to you.

[26:13] I know your former friends have not been good to you. But please, never desire God to bless you to prove a point to them and to punish them back. You disengage God if you do that.

[26:25] Because God is not blessing you to decorate you. He blesses you for you to be a vessel to his glory, to his honor. It's very important. So anytime you say, God bless me, don't be thinking about what people will see.

[26:38] Yes. Now they see. When they see me, they were not nice. Now they will see that I'm very important. And then as soon as God blesses you, your pride enters.

[26:49] Pride enters. In fact, the Bible says about Lucifer, it said you were beautiful until the day sin entered you. Sin was found in you. You said, I, I, as I have chapter 14 from verse 12, I, I, I.

[27:03] You kept pointing attention to yourself. Me, mine, and my. So please, number one, Deuteronomy chapter 8 verse 18. It says that, for, and you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you power power to get wealth, that he might, he may establish his covenant, which is so all to your fathers, not even to you, as it is this day.

[27:26] You know that statement. Joseph also made, as it is this day. God, it is God who gives you power. So any physical, material blessings that comes to you, or opportunities that come to you, it is not to prove a point to your enemies, or to prove a point to your family, or your mother's people, but it is for God's glory.

[27:50] And so, sometimes they will see what God has done for you. Well, some can't stand your blessing. They will be ashamed. But that shouldn't be your focus. Your focus should not be people, others.

[28:00] Your focus should be the glory of God. We have to live for his glory. In Colossians chapter 3, it says, whatever you do, in need or in word, do it all to the glory of God.

[28:11] So everything we do as Christians, our ultimate focus should be God's glory. Somebody say, amen. Amen. Number one, God blesses us to establish his covenant.

[28:24] Number two, God blesses us so we can be a blessing. So God blesses you so that you can be a blessing to somebody. Your unwillingness to be a blessing to others is what disqualifies you to be blessed.

[28:39] You don't like to be a blessing to others. You don't like it. Oh, Pastor, me, I'm waiting. When I get more. No. The one who will do more. Bible said, he who is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in that which is matched.

[28:55] Yes. Luke chapter 16, I think from verse 12 somewhere there. He who is faithful in another man's soul will be faithful. He said, if you are not faithful in another man's soul, who will give you?

[29:06] But he said, he who is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in match. See, the key word there is also. Also. Also. So if you are qualified in class one, you are likely to qualify in class two and you'll be likely to qualify in class 10.

[29:22] But if you are failing, miserable in the first little, little level, who trusts you? And so the point I'm making here is whatever you are, be.

[29:35] So you don't wait to have that and that before you are nice. Just be nice, even though you don't have that. So he that is faithful in little will be faithful in match.

[29:46] And God blesses us to be a blessing to others. God blesses us. Genesis chapter 12, verse 2. He said, I will, oh, cut up a hand there.

[29:56] I will bless you. And he said, I will bless you and make your name great. And you shall be a blessing. It's not a blessing until it's overflowing.

[30:08] It's not a blessing until some people are benefiting and being blessed from whatever is in your life. God doesn't bless consumers. He blesses distributors. I receive.

[30:19] I receive. I receive. There are people who say, who say, I want to be blessed. I want to be blessed. I want to be blessed.

[30:30] But when it comes to giving and committing to the things of God, they don't want to do it. God blesses us to be a blessing. In Galatians chapter 6, verse 10, the Bible says that do good to all.

[30:41] Do good to all men. All right. It says, therefore, as we have the opportunity, let us do good to all, especially those who are in the household of faith as Christians. Okay. Especially.

[30:52] Too good. There is the need to be a blessing to people. It says that it is more blessed to give than to receive. Acts 20, 35. It's more blessed to give. Number three. So number one is to establish His covenant.

[31:07] Number two is so we can be blessed. Number three is for promotion of kingdom interests. Promotion of kingdom interests.

[31:18] In other words, God is blessing you so His kingdom can spread, can do well. In Matthew chapter 24, verse 14, it says that, and the gospel of this kingdom will be preached to the ends of the earth.

[31:32] And the gospel of this kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations. How does this happen? And then the end will come. How does this happen? Some people must push the agenda of God.

[31:43] So God will bless you because of your interest in kingdom promotion. It's very important. Now, one of the major areas that God uses to bless or means to access blessings is we can, listen, we cannot take that for granted.

[32:03] It's giving, giving, giving, giving. Commitment to being a blessing. When you, it's like I am committed to being a blessing. So when anything that comes into my hand, I don't think of what I'm, how I'm going to upgrade my living face.

[32:19] I think of my commitment. So as like a father and you, when, when I, let's say I receive, or a father, a good father receives an income or something, the first thing you think about is his children, his family, bills.

[32:35] Where would he receive money? And then quickly, the first thing is to go, to go for, go on holidays and go and blow it. How about the rent?

[32:47] How about the children? You must have a kingdom commitment heart, a heart that is, that is committed to the kingdom. And anyone, Bible says in Proverbs chapter 11, verse 25, that the liberal soul shall be made fat.

[33:01] He that waters shall of himself be watered. The liberal soul shall be made fat. You know, liberal, that one who gives. Liberal, that means a giver. A giver will always be made fat.

[33:13] Because it says that as you are watering, you will also be watered. So whilst you are pouring out water, water also is being poured on you. It's a spiritual principle. And so every pastor who does not teach the people, the congregation, the secrets, and the principle of giving, the principle of tapping into a certain type of blessing through giving has done great injustice to the church.

[33:39] Now, having said that, there are church leaders and pastors who overstretch this for monetary gain, and God will deal with them and face them.

[33:51] God will judge them. But the truth stands as it is. We should never be afraid to speak the truth because others will misinterpret it. We have to speak the truth and let the truth defend itself.

[34:03] Let the truth of God's word defend itself. Pastor, don't be afraid to teach the people the whole counsel of God. The whole counsel of God.

[34:16] Paul said, I did not shun to tell you the whole concept of 20 from verse 26. He said, I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God.

[34:27] Why? Verse 26 said, I am innocent of any man's blood. Therefore, I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all men. Why? Verse 27.

[34:38] Why? Because I have not shunned. If I shun, I am guilty of your blood. If I don't teach you the full counsel of God, if I don't teach, Pastor, if you don't teach the full counsel of God, you jeopardize people's lives.

[34:55] God has entrusted them to you. Teach them God's word. Teach them the full counsel. Don't be afraid. Jeremiah chapter 1. He said, don't fear their faces.

[35:08] Don't be afraid of their faces. Teach with humility. Teach with boldness. One of the things that always must be done. For I will be with you to deliver you. He said, one of the things that every preacher must do is preach with boldness.

[35:23] 2 Corinthians chapter 3, verse 12 and 13. It talks about how we preach the word of God with boldness or with plain language. That's boldness. Therefore, since we have such hope, we use great boldness of speech.

[35:39] We use, not like Moses, who have to try and, you know, be, oh, you know, because he has to cover his face. And you are not getting. We say we use boldness of speech.

[35:50] Some translation said, plain speech. Acts chapter 14, verse 3. It says that, therefore, long abode them. Therefore, they stayed there a long time. I was reading King James in my head.

[36:01] Therefore, okay. Long time. Therefore, abode they, speaking boldly in the Lord, which gave God. God gave testimony unto the word of his grace and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands.

[36:17] Why? They spoke boldly. Peter rose up and spoke boldly on the day of Pentacles. He said, ye men, hear me. These men are not drunk as you suppose. This is that which was spoken by the prophets.

[36:30] And then when he began explaining to them, he finished explaining to them, verse 36, Acts chapter 2, verse 36. He said, this Jesus, whom you crucified. He said, therefore, let the house of Israel know, assuredly, that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified.

[36:49] You crucified him. You crucified him. You are responsible for his crucifixion. And then they said, Bible said, they were cut to the heart and said, men and brethren, what shall we do? What shall men and brethren, what shall we do?

[37:01] Peter said, repent. Boredness. I'm innocent of any man's blood. So it's important. Quickly, let me just touch on these few things. There are benefits of giving, assessing the blessing.

[37:14] The liberal soul shall be made fat. There are benefits of giving. Listen, Christian brother. When you are a Christian, Bible says in Romans 5, 5, the love of God is shared abroad in your heart.

[37:26] This love of God makes you do things for God. You care about God. You care about God's people. And sometimes you push yourself and you sacrifice your opportunities for the promotion of the kingdom.

[37:40] Now, quickly, this is very important. I think, let me touch on, okay, the areas of giving quickly. So I have to run up now. Areas, areas. All right. Areas. Areas.

[37:52] How you can, the Bible, in which area? Pastor, if I have to give, what should I give to? Okay, quickly, let's do that now. Number one, Psalm 41, verse 1 and 2.

[38:04] Give to the poor or the needy. Giving to people who are in need, okay? Giving to. Blessed is he who considers the poor. The Lord will deliver him in the time of trouble.

[38:16] What? Really? Yep. The Lord will deliver him in the time of trouble. And verse 2, verse 2 says that the Lord will preserve him and keep him alive.

[38:27] And he will bless, he will be blessed on the earth. Where? Spiritual blessings? No. He'll be blessed on the earth, physically. Be blessed. You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies.

[38:39] Get busy helping others. So people who are genuinely in need. Doesn't mean you go around town looking for someone, everybody, this drug guy is drunk, and he said, give me money, I want to go and buy more drugs.

[38:53] No, no, no, no, no, no, no. That's not an idiot. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No.

[39:04] No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No.

[39:15] No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No.

[39:27] that Dorcas has done while she was alive. Just in case you are not around, what are we going to show which you have deposited into our lives? Tabitha.

[39:38] Hallelujah. So giving to Proverbs 14, verse 21. This is very important. He that gives to the poor, learns to God. When you give to people who are in need, he who despises his neighbor sins, but he who has mercy on the poor, happy is he.

[39:57] Amen. All right, I think I need to move on to the next point. Very important. Number two, where do you give your seed? The kingdom of God. The church. For kingdom purposes. The church.

[40:08] The church. That is David's biggest secret. He loved the church. To the extent that everything he had, he left it for the church. His son Solomon came and took the throne. Said, Daddy, what do you leave me? So I gave it to the church.

[40:19] Don't worry. The God of the church will bless you. He is the man who was blessed than any other person on earth. Jesus had to make reference to his riches. First Chronicles chapter 29, verse 1 to 3.

[40:30] When you get home, you can read further. But verse 1, David said, Because I love my, because of my affection. Furthermore, King David said to all the assembly, My son Solomon, who alone God has chosen, is young and inexperienced, and the work is great, because the temple is not for man.

[40:47] Oh, David, David, David! He said, The temple is not for man, but it's for God. You see his mindset? He's for God. So, and so what? Look at the next verse. He's for God.

[40:58] So, now, For the house of my God, I have prepared with all my might, gold for the things made of gold, silver for the things of silver, bronze for the things of bronze, iron for the things of iron, wood for the things of wood, onyx stones, stones to be set, glycerin stones of various colors, all kinds of precious stones, and marble slabs in abundance.

[41:23] David said, I'm giving. Look at the next verse. He has prepared all these things. Moreover, because I have set my heart, my affection, I love my God in this house. Some people who complain and always are lambasting the church.

[41:36] He said, Son, you don't love God. He said, Because I have set my affection on the house of my God, I have given to the house of my God. When it's time for offering, that's when you say, Oh, I'm signing out.

[41:49] I'll do it later. Every time you get opportunity. When we have service, and you are in the capacity, you have the ability. It's not the size, but it's the heart.

[42:00] It's the heart. So it's not, it is what, it is not the size of what you give. It is what is left after you have given. That determines the heart of giving. So the kingdom is very important.

[42:15] And then number three, you give to covenant personalities. This is so important. A lot of people don't realize that. Who are covenant personalities? People who are in your life by God's design.

[42:26] They carry some level of authority in your life by God's design. Pastor, who are those people? Your mother, your father, your mother. It's a, when you give to your mom, you give to your dad. It's a way of honoring.

[42:37] Don't wait to have so much money. The little, it's a way of honoring. When you honor, you will give through honoring. It's very important. So he said in Malachi chapter one, verse six, verse seven, verse eight, he says that a servant honors his master.

[42:55] He said, a son honors his father and a servant his master. And then, if then I am a father, where is my honor? Daddy, daddy, where is my honor? And if I'm a master, where is my reverence?

[43:07] Says the Lord of hosts to you, priests who despise my name. Yet you say, hey, what have I done wrong? Hey, what have I just said? Oh no, I haven't done anything.

[43:18] He said, ah, so you're telling me you don't know how to honor me. Look at the next verse. He says that you offer, you see, your offering has a lot to do. Your honor has a lot to do with your offering. How you honor will show in your giving.

[43:30] You offer defiled food on my altar, but say, in what have we defiled you? By saying that the table of the Lord is contemptible. Go to the next verse.

[43:41] Look at it. It says that, and when you offer the blind as a sacrifice, it, is it not evil? When you offer the lame and sick, the things that you don't like.

[43:52] And he says, no, no, you offer sick animal on my table. Because it doesn't have value for you. It doesn't, you don't feel it. You offer it. He said that the lame and the sick, is it not evil?

[44:03] Offer it then to your governor. Would he be pleased with you? Would he accept your, accept you favorably, says the Lord? See, so how do you honor the way you give? There are things that you might, you don't have to have enough.

[44:15] But sometimes your mother's birthday, you bought that for your mom. You bought that for your dad. And, or you gave this to your dad. Learn how to honor your parents by giving to them, if they are alive.

[44:27] They are covenant people, covenant personalities God has placed in your life. That's one set of covenant personalities. Second set of covenant personalities, are spiritual leaders. Like, the prophet, is the covenant personality that God has put in your life.

[44:41] And prophets are to be honored. When I say prophet, I mean pastors, anyone who carries, that is in your life of divine assignment. Learn how to honor them. Learn how to honor your pastors, and your prophets.

[44:55] And then, fourthly, help the saints, any believer who is in need. Sometimes you might not even know them much, but you can tell the genuine need you were told. So, I can have, I can do this little to add.

[45:07] Be eager to be a distributor. Finally, the benefits of giving. Let me mention them quickly. The benefits of giving. Number one, you provoke divine favor. You provoke the favor of God.

[45:20] Genesis chapter 8, verse 21. When Noah, they came out of the ark, they gave sacrifice, and God smelled it. And the Lord smelled the soothing aroma. Hey!

[45:31] Hallelujah! That's nice. God smelled the soothing aroma. Then the Lord said in his heart, I will never again tear the ground for man's sake. What? Although the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth, nor will I again destroy every living thing as I have done.

[45:49] Why? Because God smelled this offering. So, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, this giving has moved me. Hallelujah! If, yeah, advocate, if Satan doesn't want you to be blessed, why would he encourage you to give?

[46:04] He will show you reasons, one or one reasons why you shouldn't give to the work of God, to the church, to your, to, to, to, to, um, people who I need, and to, to, uh, uh, uh, uh, what do you call it?

[46:19] Covenant personalities in your life. He will give you reasons. Oh, don't give it to the church. Don't give it to, all this, all this. They say, all these pastors are thieves, you know, are thieves. Yeah, you see, they are all like that.

[46:30] They are, don't you know your own pastor? Don't you know your own pastor? Why? So, provoke divine favor. First Kings chapter three, verse five. Oh, my time is up. I have to stop. First Kings three, five, and 12.

[46:43] God, Solomon sacrificed to God. And that night, God, the Lord appeared to Solomon by night and said, ask whatever you want. You, you gave me the sacrifice. Solomon, ask whatever you want.

[46:55] And then verse 12, look at verse 12, but I, it said, you didn't ask for money and things, but I have done according to your words. See, I have given you a wise and understanding heart so that there's none, uh, there has, so that there has not, not been any one like you before you nor shall be.

[47:11] And then look at the verse 13. It says that, and I have also given you what you have not asked. Ah, I like that one. Both riches and honor so that there shall not be any like you, um, like you among the kings in all your days.

[47:24] And it happened because he got favor. He got the favor of God. So number one, you provoke divine favor. Number two, you, uh, you secure the future of generations yet on one.

[47:36] As you are a giver, you secure some people, your, some benefits that you are getting in your life is because of your mother's commitment to the work of God, your father's commitment to the kingdom agenda.

[47:48] And it's going to be a benefit to you. In my, in some one 12 best way, look at some one 12 best way. Some one 12 best way quickly. Well, the riches will be in his house and his righteousness and just forever.

[48:00] When you read it, you see a forever. I see if it's forever. This thing will stay forever. Look at this nine. Look at this nine. This nice is that he has dispensed abroad and has given to the poor.

[48:11] His righteousness and yours forever. His home will be exalted with honor and forever, for forever, enduring righteousness, forever, enduring benefits. When you give in 2 Samuel chapter 7, verse 12, when David said, I'll build God a house.

[48:26] God said, David, you want to build me a house? I'm telling you when you die, I'll raise you. He said, when your days are fulfilled and you rest with your father, I will set up your seat after you who will come from your body.

[48:37] And now establish, he said, your house, I'll build you a house. Tell David, I will build him a house. God said it 10 from his 10 said, I will, I will build you a house because you wanted to build me a house.

[48:47] What does it mean to build your house? I will secure the future for your children. Mom, learn to be a generous giver and a kingdom promoter, kingdom agenda promoter.

[48:58] Learn to be generous. Learn to be a giver. Some people will squander their tithe and they want more because they are saving to buy a car. They are saving to be wedding. They are saving to buy a house.

[49:10] And they have added God's own into their service. Finally, finally, you, you, you cancel plagues and cases.

[49:23] Yeah. Giving, cancel plagues and cases. First Chronicles chapter 21, verse 26 and 27. David sacrificed that day. David sacrificed that day. And when he sacrificed and David built there an altar to the Lord and offered bent offerings and peace offerings and called on the name, called on the Lord and he answered from heaven by fire on the altar of bent offering.

[49:46] The altar of bent offering. Remember that. Look at the next verse. And Bible says that, so the Lord commanded the angel and the angel returned. The angel was killing people and nothing could stop it.

[49:57] And David used the altar of sacrifice. He gave to God. Giving a vets, curses. It cancels curses. As we saw Noah, when Noah gave sweet smelling offering, God smelt it.

[50:10] And God said, ah, they will not, this plague will come to humanity again. I, I avert it. I cancel it. I cancel it. And some, finally, Psalm 41, verse one and two again.

[50:21] Psalm 41, verse one and two. What does it say? It says that, blessed is he who considers the poor. The Lord will deliver him in the time of trouble. When curse, when they mean evil against you, God said, that the Lord will preserve him and keep him alive.

[50:36] And he will be blessed on the earth. You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. Every plague that is meant against you, there is a way your giving can speak for you.
