Weep Not, The Lion Has Prevailed
[0:00] Welcome. Thank you for choosing to listen to another word-filled message by David Entry. Preaching is the means by which God manifests His word and nourishes our spirits.
[0:12] May the life of God enter into you anew as you listen to this message. Be blessed. Thank you, Jesus. In Numbers chapter 21, verses 7 to 9, verse 6, they sinned against God.
[0:26] And in verse 7, God, verse 6, God allows some snakes. Verse 7 says that, and verse 7 says that, Therefore the people came to Moses and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you, Moses.
[0:43] We have spoken not only against God, against the Lord and His prophet Moses. And pray to the Lord that He take away the serpents from us.
[0:54] Because the serpents were biting them and they were dying. Serpent bite was killing them. It was like a pandemic in their midst.
[1:09] Because of their sins, because of what they did against God, it opened up a door for the enemy to afflict them.
[1:20] The enemy, God said, well, if you have spoken against me, He redrew His cover and the enemy attacked. And the snakes were killing them. They were dying. They were dying. Their neighbors were dying.
[1:31] Their family members were dying. Their enemies were dying. Their work colleagues were dying. Their friends were dying. This one is a problem. It was a problem. And they saw their children were dying.
[1:43] Hey, this is not too good. And so they went back to Moses and said, Moses, can you talk to God? Can you pray to the Lord that He will take away the serpents? Because I believe at that time, they have had a repentant heart.
[1:57] And God is a God of mercy. Anytime you come back to God and ask for mercy, God will not turn a deaf ear over your prayers. No, when you come to God, it doesn't matter your state.
[2:08] When you come to God, God will hear it. But I realized something from this text. They sinned and they came to God. And they asked Moses, pray to the Lord for us. And Moses went to the Lord.
[2:19] And then he prayed. And therefore the people asked God to pray. Then the Lord said to Moses, make a fiery serpent. You need one serpent. The serpents were biting them.
[2:31] But you need a replica serpent. Cardival Shandahiah. Make a fiery serpent and set it on a pole. And it shall be that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live.
[2:49] Hallelujah. Cardival Shandahiah. He said, anyone who is bitten, everyone. As soon as you are bitten, you don't have to look left or right.
[2:59] Just look for where the serpent is. The replica serpent. The bronze serpent that Moses had made. It was a man-made serpent. It wasn't a natural serpent.
[3:10] It was a man-made serpent under instructions. God said, make this thing. And when God said, make the serpent, God, oh God who forgives sin. God who forgives sin.
[3:22] He knew why he said, make the serpent. Because that serpent was pointing to the day sin will be forgiven. The day sin will be forgiven. And if you can look at the one through whom your sins are forgiven, then that poison loses its power over your life.
[3:37] I don't know what poison has entered your marriage. I don't know what poison has entered your family. I don't know what poison has entered because of your background, because of things that you have done in the past.
[3:48] What poison has entered your future, has entered your career, has entered your health. What poison, any poison that has entered you. Listen, the issue is not another person to speak for you.
[4:02] The issue is not looking for new contacts. There's something you have to do. So Jesus came to show us the secrets. He said, that serpent who was lifted was representing me.
[4:12] The serpent, most of us are familiar with John 3.16. But John 3.16 doesn't make any sense until you read John 3.14, 15 and 17.
[4:28] He said, verse 14, Jesus, this is Jesus. If you have a Bible and it's red letter edition, you'll find out that these are the direct words of Jesus. Came out of the mouth of Jesus.
[4:40] He said, as Moses lifted up that serpent. That serpent that God told Moses to do, to make. As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness.
[4:53] Even so. Even so. Someone say even so. Even so. Even so. Even so. Jesus had not yet died.
[5:06] So he stole them. As Moses lifted up the serpent. Even so, must. It is a necessary requirement. Must the son of man.
[5:16] Talking about Jesus. Be lifted up. And watch this. The next verse. Said, there were Moses. And whosoever believes. How do you look at Jesus? How do you? In those days, they had to turn their face.
[5:28] Look for where the serpent is. It was in a place where it's easy to spot. Look for the serpent. Look at the serpent. And the venom. The poison will lose its influence in your life.
[5:39] And Bible said, whoever shall look at it lives. Whoever looks at it in numbers. Whoever looked at the serpent, it says, shall live. When you look, it says that, and it shall come to pass.
[5:52] Everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live. When he looks at the serpent. So he said, in the same way, Jesus also has been made to look like a serpent.
[6:04] To deal with the poison that satanic serpent has put inside you. Satan has put in your marriage. Satan has put in your health. Satan has put in your finances. Satan has put in your life.
[6:15] He said that, if you can look at this. So Jesus said, as Moses lifted up the serpent. The same way. The son of man must be lifted. That whoever will believe in him.
[6:28] Should not perish, but live. You know, God said, if you look at the serpent, you shall live. Moses, Jesus said, whoever believes in him. Should not perish, but have eternal life.
[6:39] That's, but live. But live. Then it goes on, for God's will love the way that he gave his own. God did this out of love. Because you are struggling.
[6:50] You are suffering. But God said, no, I won't leave you in that state. I'm going to provide an answer. I'm going to provide an answer for your life.
[7:02] For your life. For your health. For your career. For your family. God said, I, God, I'm going to provide an answer for you. I see God providing for you.
[7:12] And as you, as you turn to Jesus. Now, in, in John chapter 12. In John chapter 12, verse 31 and 32. Jesus said, and if I be lifted.
[7:24] He said that now the world, the, now is the judgment of the world. Now the ruler of this world is cast out. Will be cast out. Why? That's the ruler of the devil be cast out. And I, if I be lifted from the earth.
[7:36] The same thing. The same thing. The same thing Moses did. He said, if I be lifted from there. I will draw all people to myself. It is time. So Jesus dying on the cross. Watch this. Jesus dying on the cross.
[7:48] It was exact representation. It reflected being lifted up. So being lifted up means if I die on the cross. Jesus being lifted up means if I die on the cross.
[7:58] So if you can focus on what he has done. Oh, what he has done on the cross. Sister, it is not the pastest, just, just the pastest prayer. But it is what he has done on the cross.
[8:10] If you can believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead. If you can, if you can believe that God raised him from the dead. He died for our sins. So the people sinned against God.
[8:21] But God gave a serpent to be lifted. Why? That serpent was typified. Was representing Jesus ahead of time. So God forgave them in credit. Hallelujah.
[8:32] God forgave them in credit. Why? Because Jesus was coming to pay. Jesus was coming to pay for that credit. So every, oh, oh, every forgiveness, every testimony, every miracle in the Old Testament was carried out on credit.
[8:49] On credit. So it was when Jesus came, he came to behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Every sins of everything.
[8:59] Before he was born and after he was born. After he died. Every sin, including the one of Abraham. Including the one from Adam. From Adam.
[9:10] Every human being who lived and, and believed or exercised their faith towards God. Every human being who was ever forgiven. Who, whoever enjoyed atonement.
[9:21] They shed blood to cover their sins. That blood, the blood of goats from Hebrews, the blood of goats and, and, and lambs and calves cannot take away human sin.
[9:33] So why were they doing it? According to Hebrews, Hebrews chapter 10 and, um, Hebrews chapter 9 and chapter 10, verse 11, 12, and 13. Or chapter 10 verse, actually two and four, two, three, four.
[9:45] It talks about how it, it said, uh, yeah, for it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sin. So what were they doing in the old Testament?
[9:58] What, what were they doing? Because they were, they were sacrificing blood. In, in, in, in the book of, um, Leviticus chapter 16, Bible talks about how the high priest will lay his hand on the scapegoat and confess the sins of the people.
[10:12] And the scapegoat will be set loose into the wilderness where the, into the wild, where some dangerous wild animal will eat their goat. That means their sins have been eaten away. And it was working.
[10:24] It was working. It was working. Aaron shall lay his hand on the head of the live goat, confess over it all the iniquities of the children of Israel and all that, all their transgressions concerning all their sins, put them on the head of the goat and, and shall send it away in the wilderness by the, by the hand of the, uh, of a suitable man.
[10:49] Take the goat, remove that goat from your, your midst. All your sins have been put on the goat. The goat will go and die. And so, but we, the goat shall bear, bear it, bear on it all their iniquities to an, in, an uninhabitable land and he shall release the goat in the wilderness.
[11:11] The sins were, but we saw in Hebrews that it is not possible. Hebrews said, for it is not possible. It can be possible that the death or the blood of bulls and goat take away sins.
[11:24] So, but it was working for them. It was working for them. It was working for them on credits. It was working. It was, that, that, that, that those bloods were not taking away the sins.
[11:36] They were covering the sins. And so in the same way, the serpent, the bronze serpent they were looking at, it wasn't doing anything for them. It was actually referring ahead on credit of the blood of Jesus.
[11:49] When Jesus would be on the cross, they, the serpent that they were looking at in numbers and they were being healed. It wasn't the bronze serpent, but it was Jesus Christ in advance.
[12:00] It was Jesus Christ in advance. It was Jesus Christ in advance. It was Jesus. And guess what? So if they could be forgiven on credit, how about you on debit? Wow.
[12:11] Wow. Your healing is already paid for. By his stripes, we were healed. By his stripes, we were healed.
[12:22] By his stripes, we were healed. By his stripes, we were, no, we are, we were. If we were, then we is.
[12:32] By his stripes, we were healed. He himself bore our transgressions, bore our sins in his body on the tree.
[12:44] By whose stripes, we were healed. And in Isaiah chapter 53, verse 6 and 7. Oh, thank you, Jesus. Isaiah 53, verse 6 and 7.
[12:56] We all, like she have gone astray, we turn away everyone to his own. And the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us. So look at verse 7. Oh, I like verse 7.
[13:07] He was oppressed. He was oppressed and he was afflicted. Yet he opened not his mouth. He was led as a lamb to the slaughter. As the sheep before he sheareth, he was silent.
[13:18] So he opened not his mouth. So let's go to verse 3 and 4. Let's start from verse 3. I need to show you something. He said, he is despised and rejected by men. A man of sorrows, acquainted with grief, acquainted with grief.
[13:31] And we hid, as it were, our faces from him. And from our faces from him, he was despised. And we did esteem him not. Next verse.
[13:41] Surely he has borne our grief and carried our sorrows. Listen, that sorrow is not meant to stay in your life. Because someone has carried it already. It has been taken off the shelf.
[13:54] Why has Satan come and put it back? It's been taken. See, there's no legitimate, spiritual legitimate grounds why Satan can afflict you, should afflict you when you are in Christ.
[14:08] When you are in Christ. When you are in Christ. Unless you fail to look at him on the cross.
[14:19] Unless you take your eyes off him. Unless you are not in belief. That just shall thrive, shall live, shall do well, shall receive the miracle by faith. I see you receiving your testimony.
[14:31] Amen. I send the testimony into your life. This special Sunday evening of Easter. I speak supernaturally. May the effect of Easter be activated in your life.
[14:42] For you to receive your healing. He bore our sorrow. He himself. He bore our sorrows and our grief. He bore our sorrows. He bore our grief and carried our sorrows.
[14:53] Yet we esteem him stricken. Smitten by God and afflicted. Look at verse 5. But he was wounded for our transgressions.
[15:04] He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement of our peace was upon him. Do you understand that? Somebody has, you have made a mistake. And somebody needs to suffer for that mistake before peace can come.
[15:18] So the chastisement. Do you have to be punished in other for you to, for you to be let off the hook? The chastisement, the punishment that brought us peace was upon him.
[15:30] There is a punishment that must be given so that at least, it's like someone who has been sentenced to maybe seven months in prison. If the person doesn't carry out the sentence, they are not free.
[15:43] So the punishment, if you are sentenced, you are supposed to finish the sentence. Now after you've done, you are free. But he says that the punishment for our peace was upon him.
[15:58] So I was sentenced and he went to prison. He went to prison on our behalf. And we are working as free men. And he went to prison.
[16:08] So the punishment that will bring us peace was upon him. The punishment was upon him. And by his wounds, we were healed. We are healed.
[16:19] By his wounds, we are healed. Isaiah spoke about this many, many, many, many years ago. By his wounds, we were healed. By his stripes, we are healed.
[16:29] By his stripes. So on the cross, he took care of your case. On the cross. That is what gives the pastor the right to preach.
[16:41] What gives me the right to preach and say these things is because it's a fact. It's a purchased fact. Your blessing, your testimony, your miracle, your healing.
[16:53] It's a purchased, it's a secured attainment. It has been secured already. And I come and preach it into your life. And once you receive it, and you open your heart, you believe it and receive it, it becomes your own.
[17:06] I see you receiving your testimony. I see. I see. Talk about the shanda handa. Too many people amongst us have received testimonies for you not to also have your testimony.
[17:22] Yeah. It is working. It is working. The testimonies are showing that this thing is working. The testimony.
[17:33] She said the doctor said from the way things were going, she's not leaving the hospital anytime soon. I remember that the husband told me later that my wife, from the way things were, she wasn't going to leave the hospital anytime soon.
[17:48] It looked like she was going to be there for about a week because one of the nurses told me that she should prepare to be there for a week. She heard a word. She heard a word.
[17:58] She heard a word that somebody, you are in hospital. In the next 24 hours, you are leaving. And she said, it didn't look like this would be mine because my case was pointing that I'm not leaving the hospital anytime soon.
[18:14] But she said, I believed, I believed the word anyway. I believed the word anyway. You don't have to let your case change before you believe. Believe for the case to change.
[18:25] Believe the case to change. Believe the word of God. Believe. And I'm prophesying to you. I'm prophesying to you that heaven is showing up in your case, on your case, in your situation, in the name of Jesus.
[18:38] Tonight, I believe because of the cross, somebody's tears will be wiped away. In Isaiah, sorry, in 1 Corinthians chapter 15, verse 54, it says that when this corruptible shall put on incorruptible, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, death is swallowed up in victory.
[19:09] Death is swallowed up in victory. And then he says that what is the, oh, death, where is your sting? Oh, grave, oh, Hades, where is your victory?
[19:20] The sting of death is sin. The sting, Satan uses sin to bite you. So when the preacher said, this way is not a way of God.
[19:32] Don't go there. So you think you are doing it for the preacher? No, you are opening, if you go there, you are opening the door for the enemy. And that is the enemy's, he will sting you. Once sin comes in, Satan can sting you and put the poison back.
[19:46] But I see every sting, every sting Satan has brought because of the cross of Christ, the poison is neutralized. Every poison in your marriage, every poison in your career, every poison in your health, every poison in your spiritual work, every poison in your relationship, every poison in your life in general, your marriage and family, every poison in your finances, every poison in your business, every poison in your academic pursue, every poison Satan has put in your life.
[20:15] I command a decree. That poison has been neutralized. It's neutralized. It's neutralized. It's neutralized. In the name of Jesus. Amen. Seth, death is swallowed up in victory.
[20:29] Isaiah chapter 25, verse 8. I quoted it this morning. Isaiah 25, verse 8. It said, I will swallow up death forever. And the Lord will wipe away tears from all their faces.
[20:55] My goodness. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Thank you, Lord Jesus. The Lord will, I will swallow up death. And the Lord will wipe away tears from all faces.
[21:14] Listen, all faces, all those who have come under the cross, all those who have come under the umbrella of the cross, who are looking at the bronze serpent, our bronze serpent, Jesus.
[21:26] As you believe in Jesus, you are entitled not to be put to shame. You are entitled to shameless living, shame-free living. As you believe in Jesus, you are entitled to your tears being wiped away.
[21:41] When we talk about tears, we are not talking about just normal Christ. We are talking about affliction of the devil. It baptizes you in sorrow and grief.
[21:53] Your life, your life is just, you are, and sometimes you can tell you are tired. You are tired. Tears upon tears.
[22:04] Sister, weep no more. Actually, that is my, my, my focus for tonight. Weep no more. John, weep no more.
[22:15] For the lion of the tribe of Judah has prevailed. Revelation 5.5. Weep no more. For the lion.
[22:26] Do not weep. Do not weep. Do not weep. Do not weep. For the lion of the tribe of Judah, the lion, the lion, for the lion of the tribe of Judah has prevailed.
[22:46] Has prevailed. He has overcome. And because of that, we are overcomers. Oh, death. Where is your, your power? Where is your power?
[22:57] Oh, grave. Where is your victory? Where is your sting? Oh, death. Oh, grave. Where is your victory? Oh, grave. Where is your victory? There is no more victory of the enemy over you.
[23:09] Amen. You are no longer going to be a victim. You are a victor from today. Amen. You are a victor from today. Amen. You are a victor from today. Amen. Let me give you these last two scriptures.
[23:21] In Revelation chapter 7 verse 17 and Revelation chapter 21 verse 4. Revelation 7 verse 17. Revelation 21 verse 4. Revelation 7 verse 17. For the lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters.
[23:40] And God will wipe away everything. Oh, Lobo Shadahande. Lobo Shadahande. There's someone listening to me.
[23:52] Your life has been in several turbulence. But listen, God is leading you to fountains of water. The lamb, the lamb himself is leading you to fountains of water and you wipe your tears.
[24:04] I see God wiping your tears. I see God wiping your tears. I see God wiping your tears. You have cried enough. It's time to laugh. You have cried enough. It's time to be like Sarah.
[24:16] For the Lord has put laughter in my mouth. For the Lord has made me laugh. God is about. He's wiping somebody's tears. As you follow the lamb, as you believe in the lamb, because of the work of the lamb, he's leading you to a place of fountains and he's wiping your tears.
[24:33] I see the Lord wiping your tears. I see the Lord wiping your tears. Weep, mama! Sister! Lady! Dad! Mom!
[24:44] Brother! Brother! Gentleman! Weep no more. Weep no more. Weep no more.
[24:55] Weep no more. Weep no more. Revelations 21 verse 4. Thank you, Jesus. Revelations 21 verse 4. And God...
[25:06] Ay! Ay! God has a speciality. He is a... You know when you go to hospital, sometimes you need to see a consultant.
[25:16] You need to see a specialist. God is a specialist in wiping away tears. Yes. Mm-hmm. The serpent beats you.
[25:27] Ow! Ow! You can't sleep. Ow! You can't have your peace of mind. Ow! You are stressed. Ow! You are depressed. Ow! As you look at the cross.
[25:39] Ha ha ha ha ha! As you look at the cross and you follow the lamb. He said that you will not die. You shall live. You shall live. You shall live.
[25:50] Amen. And God shall wipe away all their tears. And God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes.
[26:02] There shall be no more death, no more sorrow, no more crying. There shall be no more pain for the form of this. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
[26:17] Hallelujah! For the former things have passed away. These days are different from previous days. Mm. Announce to your problems that these days are different from the previous days.
[26:34] Because I'm following the lamb now. Yes. I'm following the lamb now. Blood is speaking for me now. Mm. My story is different. My story, Satan will always bring your past.
[26:47] He'll remind you of your past. When he reminds you of your past, remind him of his future. I tell him, get behind me. Oh, my problem. You came a bit too late.
[26:58] Yes. You came a bit too late. Say to the mountains, I've already won. Tell to your sickness that I've already won. I've already got the victory. Sickness.
[27:09] I know you are living. I know you are living. You are living because I've got the victory. I've got the victory. I've got the victory. I've got the victory. Because God shall wipe away every tear.
[27:25] And there shall be no more pain. There shall be no more sorrow. There shall be no more death. There shall be no more sorrow. No crying. There shall be no more pain.
[27:36] For the former things have passed away. My brother, weep no more. Weep no more.
[27:49] Master, what am I supposed to do? Just believe. How am I supposed to believe? Get the word. Load it in your system. And believe what the word has said.
