Faith Like A Mustard Seed

[0:00] Welcome. Thank you for choosing to listen to another faith-building message by Pastor David Entry. Faith comes by hearing and by hearing the Word of God.

[0:12] May your knowledge of Jesus Christ increase as you listen. Be blessed. Luke chapter 17 verse 5, it says that then the apostles said unto the Lord, increase our faith.

[0:25] Somebody say, increase my faith. Increase my faith. Say it again. Say, oh Lord, increase my faith. Oh Lord, increase my faith.

[0:37] Today, I want you to know that there's no more faith you need. Jesus said, they said, Lord, they said, increase our faith. And Jesus said, if you have faith, if you have faith as a mustard seed.

[0:52] Now, mustard seed is a very tiny seed. It's very small. So small that it's very easy for you to miss it. When you hold it, it can be blown by the wind and you find it.

[1:04] Mustard seed is very little. So seemingly, it looks like a mustard seed might be negligible or insignificant. What we can learn about mustard seed is that, one, it's so tiny, you can easily lose it.

[1:18] Number two, it's so tiny, you can easily ignore it. You can easily ignore it. Number three, it's so tiny, you can easily discredit it. Never think it can produce certain types of results.

[1:31] And he says that if you have faith, if you have faith as a mustard seed, even though it might look tiny, it might look. He said, you can say if you have faith, then your faith makes you say.

[1:44] If you have faith, you can say. If you don't have faith, you can say. If you have faith, you can say. You can say to this mulberry tree. Be pulled up by the roots and be planted into the sea and it will obey you.

[2:00] Faith make. Ah, that's the message now. Faith makes life obey you. Wow. Faith makes life subject to your demands and your dictates.

[2:12] Faith makes life obey you. Stay faithful and thankful because God is a good God. In fact, in Isaiah chapter, I think 46 or 43 verse, it's six somewhere there.

[2:25] It talks about, I will give men for you. It said, I will give men, I will give people for you. You, you, you, you are so valuable to me. Instead of you, others will go. I will give men in your place.

[2:37] I will give people in your place. In Isaiah chapter, it's a 43. Three, yeah. Since you are, oh, hallelujah. Since you are precious in my sight, you have been honored and I have loved you.

[2:49] Therefore, I will give men for you and people for your life. Come on. I don't know why it is not working for others, but I know why it works for you. Yeah. Amen.

[3:00] I know why it works for you. He said, if you have faith as a master seed, that means sometimes when you are operating by faith, people will disdain you. People will say, oh, excuse me.

[3:10] And sometimes it even looks like this thing is not working. Sometimes it might look like it's not working. Sometimes it might look like, hmm, forget it. Because this faith thing you are talking about, it doesn't seem to be working for you all.

[3:24] It's not relevant in this subject. How many of us have attempted to work by faith and others tell you that, please, this thing put faith aside. Now you have to face reality. There's nothing as real as the word of God when it won't believe.

[3:38] There's nothing. Matthew chapter 5, 18. He said, heaven and earth shall pass away, but my word shall not pass away. Heaven and earth shall, but not a jot or a tittle will pass away from the law.

[3:50] And in Mark, Mark version, he said, heaven and earth shall pass away, but my word shall not pass away. So what doesn't pass away is more real than all the other things that are passing away.

[4:00] And so faith is more real, but to the natural eyes, the natural mind, the ordinary mind, and the ordinary eyes, and the ordinary ears, if it looks like really this, this is not something, you got to work with.

[4:16] But I'm telling you somebody, this year will turn out to be your best year ever. Amen. I believe that you must determine to just stick to your guns when it comes to faith.

[4:30] Stick to your guns. Just stick to the word of God. There are times you'll be discouraged. Yes. There are times it feels like, well, is this thing even worth it? You feel it.

[4:41] There are times it might feel like that. There are times it might feel like this thing doesn't work for me. Ignore that and stay faithful. Stay on track. Stay on track. He said, because mustard seed can easily be negligible or it's so negligible, it can easily be ignored.

[4:59] Number two, mustard seed can easily be blown away by the wind. Because so tiny, mustard seed can easily be even rejected or disprefered, disprefered for something else.

[5:13] Because this looks better. You are believing God for a good marriage. And when you look at the way your friends have all secured some interesting guys with money, money, money, money. And you look at the way your friends have secured some girls who, you know, who not play their game according to God's rules.

[5:32] And you are wondering, I'm playing everything right, but look at me, look at me. Stop worrying and keep trusting. Stop worrying and keep trusting.

[5:43] Because we walk by faith and not by sight. This is the victory that overcomes our faith. I see you having the victory.

[5:55] He said, therefore, I believe God. I receive it. I believe God. I believe God.

[6:06] I believe God. I believe God. I believe God. Someone say, I believe God. I believe God. To have faith by the master seed, you shall say to this marble tree, be plucked up and pruted, be pulled up by the roots and planted into the sea.

[6:29] And it says that trees obey you when you walk by faith. Genuine faith. Watch this. What does this mean? That means that genuine faith is not resultless.

[6:40] If there's faith, we will see some results. Yeah. It might be like master seed, but we will see some results. Genuine faith will always produce results. And thank you, Jesus.

[6:52] Watch this. Nature responds to faith. Wow. Because faith is built on the platform of the word of God. Nature, life responds to faith.

[7:04] I see this year you're doing so flamboyantly. Amazing. Amen. Amen. Fantastically. Please, stop judging by sight, by sight, by the scene of the eye.

[7:18] Don't do that. Don't. It says, since you are precious in my sight, I'll give men for you. Don't worry. Who seem to have taken your place? They won't be there long.

[7:29] Wow. Amen. You got to work with God. Work by faith. Work hard. And life will respond to you. I see life responding to you. Amen. I see nature responding to you.

[7:42] Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. They said, if you have faith like Master Seeewish, I said to this noble tree, be abrooted from the roots, be pulled out from the root of the root and be planted to any to obey you.

[7:54] Look at the next statement. Look at the next statement. and which of you having a servant plowing and tending sheep will say to him when he come and when he has come in from the field come at once and sit down to eat you know those days you know a servant a servant's job is to serve okay servant's job is to serve so when a servant is serving it doesn't need um a special um recognition oh you've saved so it's like a car when the car is driving you don't say oh car is driving no the car is meant to drive the car is meant to move so a moving car is not a big news because it's supposed to move it's rather a non-moving car is a problem so in the same way a seven servant is you don't expect anything from a servant but to serve so he said which of you having a servant come from the field from plowing and tending the or tending the sheep you will say to him when he has come in from the field come at once and sit down to eat look at the next verse verse eight but will not rather say to him prepare something for my supper and get yourself and serve me till i have eaten and drank and afterwards you eat and drink he said that's the norm that's the norm you go to work you're going to work your boss will not say oh well done for coming to your so come and sit on my at my behind my desk and i'll do your job and no if because you come to you came to work on time doesn't mean you should be giving your boss's place your boss will say oh no no obviously i have i employed you to come on time so you are just doing what you have been employed to do that's that's the argument there so jesus is not suggesting that it is not good to say thank you to people even though they are paid for it just doesn't know what jesus is suggesting jesus is suggesting what jesus is saying is that when people are doing what they have been employed to do it's not any strange news okay now let me look at the text again and i'll make the point i'm trying to explain it to you so jesus said um you tell him get yourself go and get some food for me to eat serve me and because that's the one servants is doing those things go to the next verse quick he says that that's nice that does he does that does does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him i i i think not you you a boss will say thank you for coming to work early and he said because you have come to work early on time uh or because you are doing what you're employed to do then uh you you should take over the company no somebody can be grateful can appreciate you for what you do which is normal which is right but a servant who has been employed to do a certain job who would it's only expected to do that job and it's not like he's done the the boss a favor for doing the job he was employed to do now watches so jesus said when people do what they have been employed to do it is not anything that is exceptional so must provoke or evoke a special type of unusual appreciation and no it's just done what is what meant to that's the point here now what has this got to do with faith then when you you you operate by faith things are supposed to work so you should be surprised if they don't work don't be surprised oh wow it didn't know when you operate by faith see when you have faith like a master's team the mulberry tree is meant to obey you i don't know what might signify a mulberry tree that must be uprooted in from your life i don't know what might signify an mulberry tree that satan is trying to use or situations are using to hurt you if you have faith and this mulberry tree is in your way you but you you can say you can say to the tree be moved and it's not a big deal because it is supposed to move uh someone is not getting what i'm saying i'm saying the question of my faith things are supposed

[11:59] to respond to you things are supposed to answer in your favor and so shall it be so shall it be amen amen don't walk by sight faith is of the heart and it manifests in the mouth so you will say and then then the pharisees asked in the chapter verse 20 when uh the pharisees came to him and asked him when is the kingdom of of god going to his francis when the king it was asked by the pharisees when the kingdom of god will come he answered and said oh boy the kingdom of god does not come with oh oh do you see that did you see the connection with the faith in it does not come with observation you are just looking around you waiting for things to change before you know god has moved it's just left for chance when you walk by faith your life cannot be subject to chance when you walk walk by faith your life cannot be subject to chance when you walk by faith your light i'm saying that again i'm talking to you when you walk by faith let those who walk by luck we don't walk by luck when you are walking by faith you're walking by light not by luck light is insight oh you're lucky like no come on come on come on don't tell me i'm lucky i'm lighty i'm lighty i've been lighted that is why when you have light darkness will bow darkness will bow darkness bows when there is light and people say yeah lucky yeah let them say lucky but you are blessed i'm lucky lucky me no oh bless me i'm blessed i'm blessed i'm blessed i'm blessed nothing i'm blessed nothing happens by chance in life nothing happens by chance in life so all those great things that are happening when you are believer you know god is the source and that's the manifestation of the blessing of god someone say i am blessed i am blessed the way you say it is actually a manifestation of your faith sometimes you are not careful you will let your circumstance and your situation dwarf you and strain you and push you so much down that your faith doesn't even have any little expression or chance to express someone say i am blessed i am so shall it be for you amen i said so shall it be for you amen i see god giving somebody the victory you will not lose you will see the victory you will see the victory you will see the victory you will see the victory you will see the victory yes you are dealing with in this situation you found yourself that in this condition you find yourself you will see the victory you will see the victory god is giving you the victory god is giving you the victory receive it now receive it now i receive it now i receive it now in the name of jesus christ of nazareth if you believe he shouted man hey hallelujah hallelujah ask him when the kingdom of god is coming and jesus said no no no no no you're getting it wrong the kingdom of god does not come with observation stop looking around you that's the same way you can miss the master seat because you think for faith to work it must be something so noticeable so you feel most of us most of us operate by feelings and we think it's faith faith is i have determined to to stand on what god has said come high water or low water come rain or shine come whatever i've made up my mind i made up my mind i made up my mind i'm going god's way i'm standing on god's word for my healing for my marriage for my

[15:59] health for my miracle babies for my job for my career i'm standing on god's word and i'll just do what i know i have to do and expect that god heaven has given me the result you you can't you can't pass your exam by faith without studies so if it's actual faith you begin to get into studies yeah and where they have told you people don't do well in this you and you have to if you have to do it then you say my case is different why because i am a believer i'm operating by faith and not by sight everybody's studying i'm also studying but i have the time that the supernatural dimension behind me people may not see that because it's it's like the mustard seed if you have faith as a mustard seed it doesn't have to be once it's dead once it's dead and when we talk about faith this is not talking about smallness of faith because they said increase our faith he said you don't need increment of your faith you just need to use what you've got you just need to have it and it must be pure bible says that the end of the commandments first timothy chapter one verse five is charity out of a pure heart and a good conscience and on faint faith genuine faith pure faith sincere faith some translations say sincere faith others said genuine faith sincere faith the end of the commandment the end is love from a pure heart of a good conscience and of faith on faint pure faith so it's not small faith but it's pure faith if it's pure it doesn't matter how negligible it might seem could that bash the higher it does not matter how negligible it is going to produce a massive noticeable results hallelujah amen don't use this a massive noticeable result don't be afraid don't join those who are fearing choose not to join them choose not to join them the psalmist said whenever i'm afraid i'll trust you yeah once you're a human being there'll be there'll be instances of fear that will come to you sometimes trepidation will overcome you you feel wow but don't be afraid don't be afraid sometimes your mind may be doubting but let your heart be full of faith he said jay mark mark chapter 11 that if you have faith like no much after 11 verse 22 verse 23 he says that for if whoever shall say to this mountain verse 23 whoever shall say to this mountain be thou move and be cast into it and shall not doubt it not in the mind in the heart the heart that's where the word of god is taught the word of god is taught in your heart that is where all supernatural transactions take place divine transactions take place from the heart not the mind so so the then the the heart will begin to regenerate or renew the mind so it's the spirit of your mind it's not just your mind there's something that is from the heart so it's pumping strength grace is pumping from your heart up so when you receive the word of god your understanding takes it and then processes it in your heart and then once it's frozen then begin to affect your thinking the way you see things so the word of god thy word have i hid in my heart in my heart in my heart in my heart sam 119 verse 11 that word have i hid in my heart in my heart in my heart in my heart in mark chapter 4 and luke chapter 8 jesus tells the parable of the sower mark chapter 4 the parable of the sower and he says that the ones that bring forth food are those who receive it in their heart those who didn't bring forth food fruits 11 verse 11 he says that the satan they received the word of god but immediately satan satan is a thief you know he comes to steal the word from inside them from their hearts he says that those are for the ways that when they hear every say a song when they satan can we get to take

[20:01] the way the word is somewhere in the heart in the heart so as i'm preaching guess what my god i'm like i'm sewing the word in your heart in your heart i'm sewing the word but guess what when we finish that guy who's going to call you how they finish the service finally oh this series was too long oh i didn't like the way this by the way and then we finish the service then you go you are playing some dangerous rough music that makes you miss the the worldly times or you go and watch a certain movie wait for process the word assimilated think over it think over it think sometimes even when you are washing when you are doing something keep it playing keep it playing let it soak into sink into your because satan as soon as the word is is soon it comes i hope you can still see me it comes it comes it's coming so in the way now that i'm sewing that he's he's waiting like a security officer he's waiting oh she's going to church i'm waiting she's he's going to judge i'm waiting i'm waiting i'm waiting soon as i finish a friend will send you a wasa with a certain link the link is making set up to come and steal the word from your heart is linking my goodness satan but the point i'm making is that the word is meant for their heart and the word of god in your heart is what generates faith from your heart not your mind that not your mind is your heart your heart genuine faith is born out of the heart and heart filled with the word and when and then your heart enters your heart and it causes a reaction and you hold on to it you walk by it is that it to produce and when when you operate by faith situations are supposed to answer to you even if you don't see it don't do not judge by observations ah ah he said don't say the kingdom of god okay let's go back he said the kingdom of god is not by observation the kingdom of god does not come with observations huh so the heart do we know is come look at the next verse he said the kingdom of god is already your midst nor will uh uh no uh no will they say see here see there for indeed the kingdom of god is within you as you are hearing the word the kingdom the basilia the god has taken over to rule but you're not aware that's why faith will preach on that knowledge on that understanding on that insight based on what the word of god has said and the word is enough the word is enough is enough someone say the word is enough the word is enough say that you say the word is enough i see the word of god bringing you there's someone listening to me just the past i think 10 days or so this health challenge has developed within the past seven days to ten days a few five to ten days or so something like that health your health has taken a very strange turn which is quite worrying but god sent me to you tonight and i speak into your life have faith in god believe in god's word do what you have to do but keep your faith in god's word god is telling your captivity so just just just make sure whenever i'm afraid i'll trust in you sometimes your mind will be fearful but no david david in the bible david could just call his soul for a meeting yeah your soul that's where your feelings your intellect and your will i will do this that's where the seat of yours that's this that's your soul and david can call it so what so come come come let's have a meeting so sit down that i mean your soul is inside you but david said so let's talk let's talk i gotta address your soul that means he's operating from his spirit because you can't pray for your mind and speak to yourself because your mind is part of

[24:02] your soul so you have to enter the spirit and from the spirit that's what i've been teaching 10 to the spirit 10 to the spirit and then from your spirit man address your feelings address your thinking address your your will sometimes you come under such pressure that the only way out is you want to do it you want well you know you are not supposed to do it you know you actually in that normal circumstances you don't want to do it but you you just feel no i want to tell you off i want to fight it i'm going it's okay so leave it no no no no i know i'm supposed to let back you know you have come under such influence that the temptation is getting the better part of you it will take your spirit that's why anyone who surrounds himself or herself with spiritual people who always have an advantage in life anybody who is doing well in the lord it's not because they are just that well or well well prepared for the challenges but it's because they are well surrounded well surround you've made up your mind you gotta walk by faith and not by sight you it's better to walk by faith die in faith than walk in unbelief he said all these died in faith having not obtained the promise he which chapter 11 verse 13 all these died in faith not having received received that the promise but they still were in faith so it was accounted unto them as having received you will not be put to shame don't be too quick to be looking for big faith big faith to build five bedroom house big faith to to um to marry at the middle name no the faith you have just walk by it make it the faith you have is pure if you can make it pure it delivers it will deliver don't want to have something and you know work by faith the faith make your faith pure sincere in other words if you say i'm believing god for a job don't go changing figures don't go changing all kinds of stuff don't engage in dodgy practices believe in god so he said anyway if it doesn't work with god it will work here please that means that faith is not pure but we need pure faith so in conclusion they came to jesus and they asked jesus to increase their faith because jesus said forgive forgive forgive forget they said oh that this level of forgiveness you are talking about to take another level of faith don't only use your faith for money for job for marriage use your faith to be good that's a better a better used faith obeying god he shows that that's genuine to forgive him forgive her let go and let god if you have faith like a master said you shall say to this man we are put it and shall be because seven years obey what they are told to do and it's not a big deal and don't think that kingdom of god is coming by observation it's already in you and it's here so don't use your natural senses just judge things by the natural senses you are likely to miss the rulership of god the manifestation of the supernatural god has sent me with a word for you have faith in god receive his word because god will make good what he has said i see god fulfilling his word in jesus then you will not be put to shame you will not be you will not go down you are not going down this year this year will be a year of victory your year of rising your year of you'll be going up and up and up and up you'll be doing well you will do well in your spiritual work in your career in your family life in your health in your finances in everything that is important to you you will do well in the mighty name of jesus christ someone shout amen want to pray a prayer of commitment and say lord i give you my heart the song our sister sang lord i give you my heart uh when the music fades i give you a heart of i come to you with a heart of worship is that is the heart you know if your heart is filled with faith god will be for you you only see the
