We Cannot Afford Not To Know

[0:00] Welcome. Thank you for choosing to listen to another faith-building message by Pastor David Entry. Faith comes by hearing and by hearing the Word of God.

[0:12] May your knowledge of Jesus Christ increase as you listen. Be blessed. I want to draw your attention to something in Isaiah first.

[0:26] In Isaiah, the Bible, in Isaiah chapter 5, verse 13, he said, My people have gone in captivity.

[0:38] Therefore, my people have gone into captivity. Why? Why? Talk to me, somebody! Talk to me! Why? I can't hear you!

[0:50] They have no knowledge. Did you see? What you know determines the freedom you enjoy. Even the quality of your prayer has everything to do with what you know, the understanding you have.

[1:10] What you know in God's Word, I mean. My people have gone into captivity because they have no knowledge.

[1:22] And their honorable men are famished. And their multitude dry up with thirst. They have no knowledge. They have no knowledge. So, it is the job of a good pastor and the priest and the prophet to teach the people the ways of God and the Word of God.

[1:45] Because your knowledge becomes the platform for your lasting liberty. Your knowledge becomes the platform we can pray for you for you to be delivered.

[1:57] But until you know something about God and God's Word and His promise and His deliverance, Satan might trick you and come back again. But Bible says, for Bible says in 2 Corinthians, For we are not ignorant of his devices, Let Satan have an upper hand over or an advantage over us.

[2:17] 2 Chronicles chapter 11. For we are not ignorant of his devices, Let Satan have an advantage over us.

[2:30] For we are not ignorant. Ignorant. Ignorant. Ignorant. You can't be kept ignorant when it comes to the things of God and the Word of God.

[2:45] You can't be shouted, Amen! Amen! Mindlessly. Mindless noise. Amen! How is He? How is He?

[2:56] On what platform? On what grounds are you claiming the miracle? On what grounds? On what grounds? He said, And we know, And we know, That all things work together for good.

[3:15] Paul said, I would not have you to be ignorant concerning spiritual. The other one is Romans chapter 8 verse 28. The second one I'm calling, I don't want you to be ignorant. It's first Corinthians chapter 13.

[3:27] He said, Concerning, Verse 12. Concerning spiritual, Verse 1. I do not want you to be ignorant. That's what the person said. Chief Apostle. He said, I do not.

[3:38] I said, Concerning spiritual with brethren. I don't want you. You can't afford to be ignorant about some things. When it comes to something, You can't say, Concerning spiritual gifts. Brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant.

[3:51] I do not want you to be ignorant. So, It is the job of the pastor. Even the way you can endure in your challenge, Your temptations, And your frustrations, And when things are bad, What you can endure, Has everything to do with your understanding of God you are trusting.

[4:10] You know what I said? They don't know they are God. They shall be strong. In these times, What we need is to know God more. We pay that price to know God. Pay that price. Listen, We can start praying right now, And we can start declaring prophetically.

[4:25] Haven't you noticed that sometimes I start prophesying, Then I cut it. Because I want somebody's focus to come on something else, Apart from solely the prophesying.

[4:37] I need, I need, I can, I can never speak on God's behalf, Without making reference to the scripture. One of the things that when you listen to me, After five minutes you must hear scripture.

[4:49] Yes. Something from God's word must come to you. That is what makes me a pastor. That's what makes me a man of God. He said, The word of God is in his mouth. In 2nd Kings chapter, Chapter 3, Verse 12.

[4:59] He said, The word of God is in his mouth. Let's go there. He says, He has some, The word of God, That must be in the prophet's mouth. That must be in the pastor's mouth. The word of God must be, He said, The people, For the lips of the priest, Must keep knowledge.

[5:16] Malachi. Malachi to 7. The lips of the priest must keep knowledge. And the people must seek. The lips of the priest, Our lips as a priest, Your lips must seek knowledge.

[5:30] And the people, Must keep knowledge. And the people must seek the word of the Lord. Said, The lips of the priest should keep knowledge. And the people should seek the Lord, From his mouth.

[5:40] For he's a messenger. The messenger, The quality of your messengership, Or your messenger status, Has everything to do with, The purity of the word of the Lord in your mouth.

[5:52] It's not the bigness of your suit, Or your big English and theology and jargons. All those things are not a reflection of a true man of God. Not even gifts. Not even just, Do you say, God is doing this, God is doing this.

[6:05] No. What is the clear, True reflection of a man of God? Kidababababakunde, Ado kabriakataayande. Is the word of God in his mouth?

[6:16] Is the word of God, Somebody listen here. Is the word of God in your mouth, That determines the kind of man of God you are? Is not the screaming and the gerational, Jesus, I feel the Holy Ghost.

[6:30] No, no, no, no. All those things don't, They are not determinants. They are not determinants. They are not determinative, When it comes to who, A man of God is.

[6:44] So some of you want a pastor who, Pastor pray for me, Then goes, No, no, no. Those things are not a reflection of a pastor. The word of God must be in his mouth, And the people must seek the word from his mouth.

[7:01] The word of God. And so the job of a pastor, One of the jobs of the pastor, The one fundamental job of the pastor, Is to teach the people of God, The word of God.

[7:14] Is to teach, So that you can, Because you, You can't afford to be ignorant. He says that, For, My people are destroyed, Hosea chapter 4 verse 6, My people are destroyed, Because of what they don't know.

[7:30] Not because there's no prayer warrior. My people are destroyed, Why? Because of what they don't know. You have rejected knowledge. Oh, That's, That's bad, Badness.

[7:42] The people of God, God said my people, My people, How can my people be destroyed? But, But where is God? But, But, But I thought God is with us. Yes, But you don't know something, So Satan is using it.

[7:53] For we are not ignorant of the devices, We are not ignorant of the devices, Of the devil. Hallelujah. Amen. Somebody shout hallelujah.

[8:05] Hallelujah. Shout hallelujah. Hallelujah. Thank you Jesus. He said, That, And we know all things work together for good, To them who love the Lord.

[8:19] And about a few weeks ago, I taught you how in 1st John chapter 4 verse 16, It says that, We believe, And we, We have believed, And we know, That God is love, And we love.

[8:29] He said, So, And we have known, And believed, That, The love of God, The love God has for us. We have known. How can you actually work with God, If you don't know? For the, The time is coming, When the true worshippers, Shall, Worship him in spirit, And in truth.

[8:48] Truth, Truth, Truth, Truth. He said, John chapter 6 verse 13, Is the spirit of truth. So, You can't afford, Not to know God. I'm saying these things, So that, As much as we are getting, We are so excited about Jesus, We love, And do I have someone, Who loves Jesus here?

[9:05] I love Jesus. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. But our love for Jesus, Keeps growing stronger and stronger, Because of our knowledge of him.

[9:16] Yes, Yes. He said, He has given us, All things that pertain to life, And godliness, According to our knowledge of him. Second Peter chapter 1 verse 3, He has given us, All things, According to his, According as his divine power has given to us, All things that pertain to life and godliness.

[9:34] How? Through the knowledge. Through the knowledge of him. So, The more you are knowing him, In second Peter chapter 3 verse 18, It talks about how grace and peace, Grace, Okay, Sorry, Grow in grace, And in the knowledge of him.

[9:50] We are supposed to grow in the knowledge. Grow in grace, And grow in knowledge. Grow in grace, Growing in grace, And growing in knowing Christ. Paul said, I want to forget about everything, I don't mind what kind of price it will cost me.

[10:05] I want to lose anything that I might know him. Just, Because knowing Christ is excellent. The excellency of knowing Philippians chapter 3, The excellency of the knowledge of Christ, The excellency of the knowledge of Christ, It's so wonderful, It's so amazing.

[10:22] My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Teachings will secure your future. Ignorance, Ignorance will perpetuate your affliction.

[10:33] True teachings of the ways of God, And the word of God. It's what, He said, In fact, You will know the truth, And the truth you know is what sets you free.

[10:45] John chapter 8, Verse 32, You will know the truth. So the truth you know. It's not the feeling, The way you feel about something. Don't, When you are growing in life, Don't judge your future by your feelings.

[10:58] Today I feel loud. I feel low. I don't feel like anyone likes me. No, No, Grow above all those. I don't feel, I don't feel, And move into where I know, Even if nobody likes me, I know I have a future.

[11:10] I know I am great. I, In fact, Those days, In those days, When I, I told my wife, That I wanted to marry her, Those days, When I told her, I love you, I want to marry you, I knew I was going somewhere.

[11:22] So I knew it would be her loss, If she says no. I knew it, But I didn't show it. Wow. Because I also knew, I also knew it would be, A great privilege, To have such a wonderful woman, As a wife.

[11:34] Yes, Yes. So I had two knowledge, One, This quality, And then number two, Me too, I'm going somewhere. Yes, Quality. I know, I know. I know. So, I knew, If she had, Frustrated me and said, No, No, No, No, No, I wouldn't have been, I'll be okay, Because I know my future, Is not tied to, I know I have a great future, I know it.

[11:55] And, I've, I've known it. I've known that, I have a great future. So when I was going to, And I wanted to tell her, I mean, I really liked her, You know, I really, And I still do, Like, Wow, God, If you can add this woman, To my destiny, Is, Is, This is real breakthrough.

[12:14] And God also answered my prayers. Can you imagine? God has been so good to me. So good to me. But, I knew, I knew that, Any woman, Who I would invite into my life, Has broken through.

[12:34] The great God, That was, The great. I know, There are things you must know, It's not like I feel, No, No, I know, I know, I know.

[12:46] That's even, It's different from, I believe, I believe it to be well with me. No, I know it to be well with me. That's two different things. I know, I know, I know, And we know, All things work together.

[12:56] We know, You're kind of, My people are destroyed, Because of what they don't know. I tell you that, Your future is, I'm prophesied, Believe it, And as you keep believing it, And discover it, More in scripture, You become certain that, And you become certain, And you know, That it's well with you.

[13:12] You know, Some parents are listening to me, And there's no reason for you to be worried about your children, And about how they turn out. Know, That your work with God, Is protecting, Preserving, And securing their future.

[13:25] Your children will be okay. Your children, I'll be young, And now I'm known, I'm old. Never have I seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his seed. His seed. His seed.

[13:37] Your children, As you walk with God, Your children's destinies are tied, To your faithfulness to God. I'm talking to a mother here, I'm talking to a father here. As you walk with God, The color of your children's destinies, Are tied to your faithfulness to God.

[13:54] Because God is not unrighteous, To forget your labor of love. And usually when you walk with God, His blessings are so strong, No one life, No one lifetime, Can contain the pure blessing of God.

[14:06] So it always has to be generational. The blessings of God, Is always generational. Unfortunately, So is curses. So are curses. Curses can pass from one generation, To the other.

[14:19] So some of you, Who have come into Christ, The curse of evil, Practices that have existed, Way before your mother was born. You have come, In the volume of the book, It is written of you.

[14:32] You have come, To change that satanic order, In your bloodline. That satanic trend, In your family line. You, God has brought you. So don't worry, When you are pursuing God, And family members don't get it.

[14:45] And they stand against you, Or your people are funny. Don't worry, Because it's not that they hate you, They don't understand. And Satan can sometimes, Use their genueness to fight you.

[14:58] Yeah. He will use their genu, Because of their, They don't understand the things of God. But you are on the highway of favor. I see God taking you from glory to glory. Amen. If you are the one I'm talking about, Shout amen.
