The reason for some unanswered prayers, can be fleshly desires. When we pray, we must have Gods agenda in mind. This is one of the ways to show our heart for God. We must not use God, for our own selfish motives alone. We must therefore keep in mind, that what God has planned for us, is bigger than anything we could ask for or imagine. This only starts, when we have a heart for him and his work. Set your hearts on the things of God.
[0:00] Welcome. Thank you for choosing to listen to another faith-building message by Pastor David Entry. Faith comes by hearing and by hearing the Word of God.
[0:12] May your knowledge of Jesus Christ increase as you listen. Be blessed. Today, I want to explain something briefly. I always do it briefly, isn't it?
[0:25] I want to explain it briefly, then we can also pray briefly. You know, sometimes, let's say you want to, you're a student or you are in secondary school and you want to go to be a top lawyer.
[0:51] You know, you didn't realize that when you were choosing universities, you didn't realize that certain universities are not well known for law.
[1:05] So even though you had a first class in law from a certain university, you might not get any reputable law firm.
[1:19] But you didn't know. So you also were, you chose this funny law called law on friendly university. And you gave it your best because you are so good. You studied it, studied it, studied it.
[1:34] And you had, you're one of the best. But still, it doesn't go anywhere. Unlike someone may not be the top in a university that is very well known for, let's say, engineering.
[1:47] And, or for aeronautic engineering. And they may not do as much as you, they may not excel as much as you excel.
[2:00] But because that university is known for that, they easily get good jobs and easy jobs and liftings. Why am I saying that?
[2:11] Sometimes if you don't know what is actually required for a certain testimony you are looking for, you might spend all your time on one thing, which might not guarantee that testimony.
[2:22] Wow. I honestly don't think it is fair for you to spend, we are spending so much time praying, which is necessary. But I don't think it's fair for just you to pray, oh Lord, I received my miracle.
[2:39] Lord, help me. Lord, help. You know, it's good to pray that prayer, but there's something that makes that kind of prayer work faster. Wow. So Hannah, Hannah in first Samuel said, God, if you give me a child, I will dedicate this child for your work.
[3:00] God said, did I hear my work? Did I hear my work? Anytime you mention God's work, you get heaven's attention faster.
[3:11] Wow. That is what gave David that privilege with God, that blessings from God.
[3:22] David said, I'm so comfortable now. The Bible talks about how God had given David rest from war.
[3:33] What else would you want? Yeah, you are a king in those days. And he has rest from war. It's like in these days, let's say if you're a prime minister or president and the economy is booming, everything, policies are working, everything.
[3:48] That's what's called rest from war. You don't even have to fight. Your works are speaking for you. God gave David rest from war. There are some of us, if you get rest from war, heaven doesn't know even if you make it on prayer meetings like this.
[4:02] Hey, oh. You make it for prayer meetings. You come late and when you, I've been thinking, pastor is talking too much, you know. Nowadays, I'm a very busy person. Yeah, you know. I have other things to do.
[4:14] Okay. Since you got married, your attitude towards church has changed. When you got your job, the attitude towards church changed.
[4:26] When you got that, when you were looking for the miracle, you were practically sleeping in church every time. You were 30 minutes on the Zoom schedule before it starts.
[4:38] You don't miss any K group until God made a mistake and gave you rest from war. Wow. That mistake. Wow.
[4:48] And that rest from war. So you're, bye, bye. When I need you, I'll come back. But when God gave David rest from war, not only rest from war, and David was living in a palace, one of the finest palace you can ever think of.
[5:06] He had built it. He looked at his house. He said, no. The condition of the main presence of God, which is the ark of the covenant. Where it is, it deserves something better.
[5:19] So I want to take it upon myself to build a house, build a church, build a house of God for my God. Wow. God. And the prophet told David, David, go ahead.
[5:31] This is a good idea. Go ahead. That night. Somebody say that night. That night. God did not waste time. He came down.
[5:42] He came to the prophet. He said, tell David that I have a plan for my own house. But since he's the first person to think of my house in this way, tell him, me too, I will think of his house and I'll build him a house.
[5:59] Meanwhile, David was living in a house already. Wow. He was living in a palace. But God said, I'll build him a house. He little did he know that his future was not as settled and secured as he thought.
[6:14] It's only God who knows how secure your tomorrow is. That is why you never stay far away from God. That is why you need to always persevere and push yourself towards God.
[6:27] Push yourself towards God. Don't let us be chasing you. Where are you? Are you not coming? What is going? Listen, if you let people chase you for church, it tells a lot about your heart towards God.
[6:39] Yes. You're saying so. We have to keep chasing you. Chasing you. Are you not coming today? You didn't come on the Zoom. Did you watch the message last Sunday? On Thursday? Where were you?
[6:49] Oh, I lied in because I was so tired. You see a failure talking. I was so tired. You're a kingdom failure. You're a kingdom of God. You're a kingdom of God. You're a kingdom of God. If you have a heart for God, anything of God is very hot for you.
[7:04] It's hot. You give it priority. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and some things won't ever become a prayer topic. Wow.
[7:14] Hey. He said, seek ye first the kingdom of God and God himself. You don't have to ask him. He will make sure the other things that others are dying for.
[7:26] It will be added to you without asking. Wow. But many people don't know the secret. So they are seeking first their own. And when they get their own, does it in, I think in Igbo.
[7:41] Is it maybe Igbo or Yoruba? We say Otilo. Otilo, I'm gone. I'm gone out of here.
[7:53] I'm gone. God has given you rest from war. And you say, God, see you later. Cheers. Wow.
[8:06] But, no, some of us listen to this. But God, Pastor, God hasn't given me rest. If he gave me rest, I wouldn't run away from him or I wouldn't make, oh, no.
[8:17] Sometimes, you know, when you have not eaten and you are very hungry, you think you like every food. It's true. It's true. It's true.
[8:28] When you go to the supermarket and say, I like that chicken nuggets. I like that sandwich. Can I have that one too?
[8:39] The chips. Add chips. And add Coke. Add apple juice. And the spice. Add. Add. You want everything because you are hungry.
[8:51] I don't know how many of you have experienced that before. Oh, I agree. Well, yeah. You're about to break your fast. You break your fast with everything. Add that much. Oh. Everything. Rice.
[9:02] Spaghetti. Um. Bananas. Oranges. Yes, yes, yes. You know, think about spring rolls.
[9:14] Samosas. Hey. So many lasagna. You, everything. You add it. And then they say, can you eat it? And sometimes you realize that you are very convinced.
[9:25] Oh, I can eat it. I can eat it. Only a few minutes into the food, you are tired. You don't really want it. Fasting is making some of us waste a lot of food.
[9:36] It's true. Because you take more than you can consume. Wow. That's, that's how it is. That's why it's dangerous to negotiate on an empty stomach.
[9:49] Right. Wow. Because when you are hungry, when you are in need, your yes sometimes cannot be fully trusted. Not all the time, sometimes. Of course. So now you are in need of a miracle.
[10:01] So you believe that me, I will trust God. I will do it. Because we don't know. Maybe if you get married, we will not see you. In fact, some of you girls, the way you are desperate to marry, there are guys who are not in church.
[10:15] When they get your attention, you are even happy to go on. It doesn't matter. Go on. He said, ask for me. I mean, since he's a good person. Once he's a good person. So why are you praying for God to help you? It tells us that your heart is not God.
[10:29] Your heart is your interest. Wow. Wow. Okay. So I'm just trying to help somebody to see potentially you are praying about something and it's not making the answers come.
[10:39] Because the Bible says that you pray, you ask, and you do not receive. Because you ask to consume it on your own last. Instead, you ask amiss. You pray and pray amiss.
[10:51] James chapter 1. You pray and pray off. Because you are praying to consume it on your own last. As for me, as for me.
[11:01] That's why a lot of prayers don't see the answers from above. Because it is for our own selfish desires.
[11:12] Does it mean it's wrong to pray for what you desire? No. But how do you know it's not selfish? When you are praying, your heart is also on the purpose of God, on the house of God, on the agenda of God.
[11:25] That God, whatever it costs to do your work, to serve you faithfully, I will do it. Now, when that is part of your heart. You know, today we're reading 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians chapter 8.
[11:36] It says that out of their deep poverty, they were poor. Let me read it. It says that more of a, I think, let me read from New American, New International, New King James.
[11:53] Now, this, I've used to see so many different issues. 2 Corinthians chapter 8. Is somebody learning something at all? We are learning. Amen. Bible said Jesus saw them and he had compassion on them because they were like sheep without shepherd.
[12:10] And he began to teach them. One of the easiest ways to get a miracle and blessings is when you are taught the ways of God. When you are taught the ways of God, it brings, it puts you on the highway of miracles and testimonies.
[12:26] That's what will happen to you in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. 2 Corinthians chapter 8, verse 1. Moreover, brethren, we make known to you the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia, that in their great trial, watch this, in a great trial of affliction, the abundance of their joy ended, and their deep poverty abounded in the riches of their liberality.
[12:56] That means their generosity. They were even, their deep poverty, they were giving more. They were giving more. That's the term they were even giving.
[13:06] Liberality means giving. Giving. Okay. Nothing else but giving. They were liberal. They were giving. They were generous in their deep poverty. Brethren, brethren, we make known to you the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia.
[13:27] And look, listen. It says that verse, verse 3. For I bear them witness that according to their ability. Yes. And beyond their ability, they were freely willing, imploring us with much entreaty.
[13:43] Do you understand what that means? They were begging us. They were entreaty. Please, please. Can you imagine? They were giving. Some people, when they give offering, they want the church to call them and tell them, well done for your donation.
[13:56] For your donation. When they give a gift to a man of God, they want the man of God to call them and say, oh, I'm so blessed.
[14:07] I'm so happy you have given me. They want to hold somebody to ransom. Let me read you from the New International Version. And now, brothers and sisters, we want you to know about the grace that God has given to the Macedonian churches.
[14:23] In the midst of a very severe trial, their overflowing joy and their extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity.
[14:35] For I testify that they gave as much as they were able and even beyond their ability. Wow. Entirely. This is serious.
[14:47] Entirely on their own. They were not even forced. They did it entirely on their own. They entirely on their own. They urgently pleaded with us for the privilege of sharing in the service to the Lord's people.
[15:02] Wow. And they exceeded our expectations. May God use you to exceed expectations in the name of Jesus. Amen. They exceeded our expectations.
[15:15] They gave themselves first to the Lord and then by the will of God also to us. The problem is people are in church, but they haven't given themselves to the Lord first.
[15:27] That's why they are making so much noise about tithe and offering and fasting and prayer. Every day are we praying. Every day I pray. Listen, if you see a Christian who is telling you you are going to church too much, don't listen to him.
[15:40] He does not have the working knowledge of Christianity. No. Anyone who, they can be a pastor. They can be pastor. Even if he's a pastor. I told you that in my teaching. There are a lot of church leaders in places who are not born again.
[15:52] They are not actually Christians. Telling you. They are not. They are a lot of. Pastor, how can you say that? But I thought if you're a Christian, that means if you go to church, you're going to church. It never makes you a Christian. Some of you, were you not going to church before you came to Caris?
[16:05] Wow. You were going to church before you came. And you were more than a devil. Hey. Wow. What kind of things you were doing? Hey. Don't tell me that going to church makes you a Christian.
[16:16] Oh, okay. I believe the Bible is from God. It doesn't make you a Christian. Please. Please. If you are not born again of God. So we are born of God. That's what makes you a Christian. You have to be born of God. When you are born of God, there are signs that show that you are born of God.
[16:29] When we test you with some signs, you will test positive. Wow. The seed of God will test positive. And you're born again test.
[16:41] You will test positive. Kabadaba. Shakata. Rabataya. Iyakadabaya. Some people are in church. They go to church. Look, now your auntie, she goes to church.
[16:52] She's been going to church before you were born. She goes to church every time. But I'm telling you, she's not born again. If she doesn't get born again, she dies. She'll go to hell. How do you know she's not born again? Why was she cheating on her husband?
[17:03] How do you know she's not born again? Do you ever see her reading the Bible? How do you know she's not born again? She doesn't even believe everything the Bible says. How do you know she's not born again? She doesn't believe God. She just goes for religious purposes.
[17:15] She's almost like a Buddhist. But she's just her own Bible type. She's like, it's like a Muslim goes for the Koran. The Buddhists go for their own.
[17:27] Hindus go for their stuff. And there are people in churches who also go for the Bible. But they are all at the same level. Wow. So most times when Muslims look at people like us, and when some people in government, they look at people like us, they think we are all the same.
[17:43] But this is our own Christianity. And these ones are Muslim. So they brand us the same as religious groupies. But what they don't know is that we are the sons of God. We are the children of God.
[17:54] The sin of God is in us. We are not just gathering in religious persuasion. Something has happened to us. And the spirit of God is inside us. And he cries, I'm a father.
[18:05] I'm a father. Hallelujah. Thank God I am born again. Thank God I am born again. Amen.
[18:16] And thank God he didn't leave it in the realm of intelligence, intelligence for them to know that to be able to certify who if somebody is born again.
[18:28] It takes we born again to be able to tell this guy is actually born again. Yeah. And your attitude towards the word of God and the things of God. Anyway, because of my time. They give themselves first to God.
[18:40] Is it possible that you are just praying, God, do it for me. God, do it for me. God, do it. You sing God like a vending machine. Oh. Just using God for what you need.
[18:52] Please. When people say, if there is God, why are people suffering? Tell them. It's not got anything to do with God. Which God are you talking about? For God so loved the world.
[19:02] There's something that is worse than any pandemic. That is the syndemic. Syndemic is. Syndemic. Wow. Wow. New grammar.
[19:13] New grammar. It is. It is. It is more dangerous. That will send you to hell. There are people who died through the COVID and they are going to heaven. They have no loss.
[19:24] No. Because they are born again. But the one who is not born again. That's why we, the church, need to wake up and preach. Instead of giving them sandwich, let's give them Jesus.
[19:35] Oh. What? Give them Jesus. You're saying something, Pastor. Let's give them Jesus. Because the sandwich is almost like you eat the sandwich and you feed the body.
[19:47] But the spirit is serving. That is why I've determined to be a pastor that will feed your spirit. Listen. There are a lot of people who will not like the things we teach in Carice.
[19:58] They will like it. We don't care. They didn't call us. They didn't save us. We are very happy about our Savior. We are very happy about our status in Christ. We, we, we are the happy people.
[20:10] We. We are the happy people. We. We. Because our happiness is not based on physical things. Our happiness is based on the spirit of God inside us. It's called the spirit of joy.
[20:22] The sans ship. We have God. We are the only type of human beings that, if you test us, if you take, if you check us, we have God's DNA. We have God. If you take our original spiritual DNA sample, we have God's DNA.
[20:37] We have it. Thank God I'm born again. Thank God I'm born again. Thank God I'm born again. Thank you. Well, so one of the things that can help your prayers get answered very effectively and quickly is when you have a heart for God's house, like David did.
[20:54] Yeah. Uh-huh. David had a heart for God's house. In Acts chapter 15, verse 26, they spoke about some guys.
[21:05] They said, these are men who have hazarded their life. They have risked their lives for the gospel. They've hazarded, King James said, they have hazarded their lives.
[21:17] Acts chapter 15, verse 26. These are men who have hazarded their life. Their lives have been in hazard, in danger for the gospel. And we recommend them to you.
[21:30] May God recommend you to people who listen to you and help you. Amen. Amen. He said, these are men who have hazarded their lives for the gospel. When today's reading in 2 Corinthians chapter 8, verse, are you ready for this?
[21:46] 2 Corinthians chapter 8, verse 18. King James says that, and we have sent with him.
[21:57] Let's read from 16. But thanks be to God, which put the same NSK into the heart of Titus.
[22:08] Let me read from the New International Version. Thank you, Jesus. Thanks be to God, who put into the heart of Titus the same concern I have for you.
[22:23] For Titus not only welcomed our appeal, but he is coming to you with much enthusiasm and on his own initiative.
[22:34] Verse 18 is where we are going to go. Titus is not coming alone. And we are sending along with him the brother. Somebody say the brother.
[22:45] The brother. What type of brother? The brother who is praised by all the churches for his service to the gospel. Every church is praising him.
[22:58] All the churches praise this guy. So we want him to come as well to you. Wow. Wow. When can even not churches, one church say that about you?
[23:10] Hey. You see where this whole thing is going? There are people who have great reputation in the church. Not because, listen, listen, let me make it very clear.
[23:23] There are some people, they have titles, but they don't have reputation in the church. When I talk about reputation, I'm not talking about good behavior. I'm talking about impact and genuine contribution to the well-being and the development of the church.
[23:40] Wow. Pastor, so how about you? Even if you take Kari's out, before Kari started, I have reputation in every church I've served in.
[23:54] Yes, yes, yes. You speak well of me. My former pastor, Pastor Andrew Adeleke, Redeemed Christian Church of God, House of Praise, Cumberwell Road.
[24:06] Yes, yes. He was my former pastor in London. Yes. He, last week, some of you got to watch the stream. Last week, he's doing an international prayer conference.
[24:18] He asked me, Pastor David, I need you to be part of the international speakers. That was my pastor. I served him. He spoke well of me even long after I had gone.
[24:29] Last week, when he was introducing my former pastor, Pastor Andrew Adeleke, good man of God, senior, big man of God. He said that, as for Pastor David, you give him assignment and you go and sleep, knowing that it will be done.
[24:44] Wow. Wow. Wow. Knowing that you will be. Listen, can church speak well of you? That is one of the things that facilitates answers to prayers. Wow.
[24:55] Some of you small care group you are part of. You have given this care group leader headache upon headache. Heartache upon headache. Yes. Heartache upon.
[25:05] They call you. Sometimes you see their call coming. They see you, your trail on WhatsApp. You are on WhatsApp. And they send you. You never comment and you ignore their calls. And it's like they are trying to hurt you.
[25:17] Meanwhile, they are only trying to help you. You treat them like they are trying to hurt you. And there are some people, they are departmental leaders. When they mention your name, your departmental leader's heart does not celebrate and say, oh, these guys.
[25:31] When they mention your name, your departmental leader says, oh. There are some leaders, if they call for a departmental meeting, as soon as one person shows up, it's for the whole meeting.
[25:45] May you remember that kind of person. Amen. Amen. All the churches spoke well of this guy. They speak well of this guy. They speak well of this guy.
[25:55] When it was time for them to appoint first deacons in the church, the first ever deacons in the church, the first ever deacons that were appointed in the church.
[26:08] Listen, their qualification, Acts chapter 6, verse 2 and 3, it said, look out from amongst you. When you read the New King James, I like the New King James.
[26:20] The New King James said, look out for anyone with New King James. Please read it. Read it for me. Read it for me. I have to be ending this thing. I feel I'm giving somebody a testimony. Amen. Amen. Amen.
[26:32] Read it for me, please. Acts chapter 6, verse 3. Therefore, brethren, seek out from among you seven men of good reputation. Of what? Wait, wait.
[26:42] Seven men of what? Good reputation. Good reputation. People speak well of you. Acts chapter 16, verse 1, 2 and 3. Talking about Timothy.
[26:53] He said that he saw Timothy. All the brothers were speaking well of Timothy. So he said, let's go. Bring Timothy. I want to add him to my team. I want to add him.
[27:05] Some of you, if I'm going to impact again, I can't add you to my team. Oh. Oh. Because your pastor doesn't speak well of you.
[27:17] Your care group leader doesn't. Not that they didn't like you, but you make life hell. You make life hell. Some people, when their husbands start troubling them, they will know my phone number.
[27:28] That's when you know your care group leader's number. When the doctors tell you that they suspect something very terminal, something dangerous, something very dangerous, that's when you remember you have a church, you have prayer meeting.
[27:41] You see why some people go to church and they never receive their miracle? Because they use church like A&E. Wow. That's the error. Yeah. Church has become like A&E.
[27:52] Not a household. Church is supposed to be your house. It's supposed to be your house. You are regular. Regular in God's house. And it's your house. You are a member of God. You have left the house of God and you only come for treatment.
[28:06] Like they call them, is it tourists? Tourists. Those who live abroad, but they come here for health. Yes. Health tourists.
[28:16] Yeah. People are using church like they are health tourists. And when now they've told you that you're about to lose your job, then when we are fasting, you have come.
[28:34] Sometimes God will still not answer that prayer. It has something bigger for you, but watch your attitude. Now that you have come back, he'll be watching your attitude before he releases that miracle for you.
[28:46] Oh, wow. Okay. So most of us don't know God is observing you because what he has for you is always, ah, what God has for you is always bigger than you, than what you can ask from him.
[29:00] Wow. Wow. What God has for you is always bigger than what you can ask from him. Yes. See God surprising you before the end of the year.
[29:11] Amen. So read the Timothy story. Acts chapter 16. And then let me, we pray. One, three. Then he came to Darby and Lystra and behold, a certain disciple.
[29:26] You see, Darby, Darby is also in the Bible, not only in Darby. Darby is also in the Bible. Came to Darby and Lystra. Yeah. Go ahead. A certain disciple was there named Timothy, the son of a certain disciple.
[29:36] Somebody say Timothy. Timothy. A certain disciple. May God make you like a Timothy in the name of Jesus. Amen. See, these are the things your heart should desire.
[29:50] Your heart should desire. When your heart desires this, your rising can never be stunted or hindered by anything. When your heart, when you are all out, Bishop, we put it this way.
[30:02] When you are all out for God, you become too much for the devil. When you are all out for God, you become too much for the devil. Wow. Tell me about Timothy.
[30:15] Yes, sir. The son of a certain Jewish woman who believed, but his father was Greek. Verse two, he was well spoken of by the brethren who were at Lystra and Iconium.
[30:28] When they say brethren, brethren is not talking about people who make bread or something. Brethren simple means, simply means brothers and sisters.
[30:38] Now that brothers and sisters does not mean people in town. It means the people in the church, because we are family. He said he's well spoken about, spoken of by the brethren there.
[30:54] Read it again, verse two. Verse two, he was well spoken of by the brethren who were at Lystra and Iconium. Not only one town, Lystra and Iconium. He was well spoken of.
[31:06] Paul said, this is a guy who has future. Bring him. I need to add him to my team. Listen, can I prophesy? Yes, sir. Professor.
[31:17] There is an invitation coming for somebody. It's an invitation that will change your story. Amen. You are, you are going to be invited into prominence.
[31:27] You are going to be invited into change of story. Amen. First of all, why don't you set your heart on the things of God? Wow. I don't, I want to, I want this scripture to stick with you.
[31:41] These are men, Acts chapter 15, 26. These are men who have risked their lives for the kingdom of God or for, for the gospel of Christ. They have hazarded their lives.
[31:53] They have risked their life. They have put themselves in jeopardy for the work of God. Yeah. The work of God. There's no way you can place God first and you be last in life.
[32:09] You can't make God first in your life and you be last in life. It does not work. It doesn't work like that. So do you know the prayer topic?
[32:20] You should know it by now. What should be your prayer topic? Oh God, that I'll have a heart for your work and for your house. And for you.
[32:31] Oh God, that heart David had for you because of which up till now, his name is still mentioned everywhere. David's name across generations.
[32:42] His descendants. Amazing. He is the son of, even in heaven, he's still the, Jesus is still the son of David. Wow. Wow. Jesus. Jesus is still the son of David.
[32:55] The only human being who God said, I want to share a son with you. We have to. God said, you, okay, I'll make him your father and I'll be his father.
[33:06] So Jesus had two fathers. Wow. Wow. Son. Anytime. Yeah. Jesus, he always used to call himself the son of man. Son of man.
[33:17] and he was called the son of God. Son of man, David. Son of God, God. God said, David, I don't mind. Because you say you do my house, you build my house, come and join me and let's father the one who is called to build the church and the gates of hell cannot prevail against the church.
[33:36] Are you not learning anything at all? We are learning. What I'm talking about, if it sounds boring in your ears, I don't think you are ready for God.
[33:48] Oh, God. Do you know why? Because this is the key to people. When people have a heart for God, these things speak a lot to them. Anybody who has a heart for God, anybody who has a heart for God, he will give you, when things like this come, you receive it.
[34:10] Not with, I receive, I receive, but you receive it in your heart. It resonates with your heart. There is something already existing inside you, which is always in agreement with a message about, let's build for God.
[34:26] Let's do for God. Let's place God first. That's the sign that you have the seed of God in you. Right. Anyway, my time is up. I need you to pray and say, God, help me to have a heart for you.
[34:37] When you read the church, some of you have to read again, 2 Corinthians chapter eight, when you read their story. In fact, verse eight, he said, he said that it's not that I'm comparing you to people, but I'm saying this thing so that I will challenge you by some people's behavior.
[34:54] Verse eight. Yeah. Verse eight. He said, I'm saying this. NIV, somebody read it from NIV, and then we can pray. Verse eight. NIV. I am not commanding you, but I want to test the sincerity of your love by comparing it with the earnestness of others.
[35:13] The seriousness of others is betraying your lack of seriousness. Please. I want us all to pray. We are all at different levels in our life and our work with God.
[35:26] I want you to pray that God, give me a heart for you. Give me a heart for your work. When you pray that first, other things will just follow. Please lift up your voice, lift up your head, pray for a heart for God's work, a heart to serve him fully, to serve him truly, to follow him genuinely.
[35:42] Pray for that kind of heart. Thank you for listening. To hear more from David Entry, follow him on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
