The Time Of Life

[0:00] Welcome. Thank you for choosing to listen to another faith-building message by Pastor David Entry. Faith comes by hearing and by hearing the Word of God.

[0:12] May your knowledge of Jesus Christ increase as you listen. Be blessed. In the book of Genesis, chapter 18. Now, this is a woman who has been barren all her life.

[0:27] Even before she came to know the God of miracles, she was barren. And after she came to know the God of miracles, many years had passed and she was still barren.

[0:41] Sarah, she was barren. And she was now old. She was in her old age.

[0:51] Okay. And she was almost, Abraham was almost 100 years old.

[1:03] And she was all 90. Very old. Then one day, it was almost like fasting and prayer time. So, their church declared a prayer and fasting.

[1:18] And as they put themselves into it, Bible says three persons were passing and they visited Abraham. Abraham says, Sarah, cook something.

[1:29] Bring something. Do something. Let's give it to them. So, they gave them a wonderful treat. The three persons. After, in the tent. Then, verse 9 says that, and they said unto him, where is Sarah, your wife?

[1:47] And he said, behold, she's in the tent. Because she's been cooking in the tent. She hasn't broken her fast yet. She was busy doing what was good.

[1:59] And Sarah, where is Sarah? And they said it was in the tent. Look at the next verse. Verse 9. He said, verse 10, sorry. And he said, I will certainly turn unto thee according to the time of life.

[2:12] Somebody say time of life. Time of life. Say it again. Time of life. Time of life. Everybody who deals with God, there is a time of life that comes for you.

[2:26] Amen. The time of life is the time that God decides to do it. Even if things are dead, when it's time of life, they begin to germinate.

[2:37] Because it's the time of life. So, even if everything in your life is dead, your financial life is dead, your educational life is dead, your prospects are dead.

[2:48] When God visits you in the time of life, death doesn't matter. Amen. So, when it was time for Jesus to resurrect from the dead, in fact, let's even use Lazarus.

[2:58] Jesus went to the tomb of Lazarus. He said, where did you put him? Let's go. And the sister Martha said, he's been dead for four days. By this time, it stinks. John chapter 11, verse 39.

[3:09] By this time, it stinks. Jesus said, my friend, didn't I tell you that if you believe you see the glory? Death does not matter. In verse 25, he said, I am the resurrection and the life. Wherever I get, even if people are dead, they will live.

[3:21] Hallelujah. If you are dead, you will live. I am the resurrection and the life. So, when the time of life comes, it doesn't matter what it seems to be dead.

[3:33] Time of life, everything that must happen will happen. And God told Abraham, verse 10. And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life.

[3:48] And lo, Sarah thy wife shall conceive a son. And Sarah had it in the tent door. And she was behind him.

[3:59] So, Abraham and Sarah were old and well-streaking in age. And it ceased to be with her after the manner of women.

[4:10] Do you know what it means? Her cycle has stopped. She's gone past menopause. Sorry. So, it ceased to be with her. So, there's no menopause.

[4:22] So, you can't, if you don't have a cycle, how can you have a child? So, Sarah was too old to have a child. Abraham, too, was too old to send a child. So, they were both very old.

[4:36] And Bible says that they were stricken. Therefore, Sarah loved within herself, saying, After I am wax old, shall I have pleasure, my Lord being old, too.

[4:48] How can, how can this happen? We are too old to engage in child producing endeavor, endeavors. We are too old. Hey, but she didn't know she was dealing with God of life, the living God who said, in the time of life, I'm returning.

[5:07] I know I'm talking to somebody. Let me tell you your problem. Should I tell you? Yes, please. Are you sure you are ready for it? You give up too early, too quickly.

[5:22] You give up too quickly. How can you be believing God and give you up anyhow? When you are believing God, you don't give up anyhow. Okay. Even you, sometimes you might look stupid believing, but it's okay.

[5:36] Because you are believing God. You are believing God. You are believing. Make sure you just have a biblical reason to stand on. Yeah. And let that biblical reason sink into your heart to be a conviction.

[5:49] Let anyone who doesn't know about that, doesn't believe. Let them not believe. Let them mock you. Let them mock you. But you also give up too quickly. Even when people haven't mocked you, you yourself, you believe, you start believing one week, one week.

[6:03] You don't even get to one week. They say, oh, maybe one week. You believe one day and the next day, the rest of the six days in unbelief. And because most of us give up so quickly, we begin to look for a pastor to pray for you.

[6:19] You look for somebody who parades and perambulates like a spiritual superman and guru. Whatever your problem is, bring it and I'll solve it.

[6:32] So those things, listen, those things, they don't go foul. Listen, you give up too quickly. You have pains here.

[6:43] You took medication. And after taking a tablet, the thing is not going. You conclude, I'm dying. Why? Why are you doing that? What's the meaning of what you are doing? Can you tell me what's the meaning of what you are doing?

[6:54] Why? You are married. Even if it's five years, still don't give up. I know I've heard about people, 21 years they had a child.

[7:07] After 21 years of marriage, they had a child. You are giving up too quickly. You are looking for a job, a miracle job, a miracle job or a miracle something.

[7:18] And you went for one, two. And after the first one, you didn't get it. So you concluded, I'm not getting it. Or the second one, concluded, you are not getting it. You will give up too quickly. The time of life is coming.

[7:31] The time of life is coming. Your time is coming. And I'm professing to somebody. Your time is now. This isn't a fasting.

[7:42] Your time is now. Amen. Your time. It's time for your family to celebrate. It's time for your family to rejoice.

[7:52] It's time for your family to have a testimony. It's time for your testimony. Your time is now. I'm professing. Your time of life is now.

[8:02] In the name of Jesus. Amen. Amen. Amen. Thank you. And verse, Sarah laughed, verse 12. Sarah laughed within herself, saying, after I'm wax old.

[8:16] Verse 13, and the Lord said unto Abraham, wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, shall I of a surety bear a child when I'm old?

[8:26] Then the Lord said, is anything too hard for the Lord? At the time appointed, I will return unto thee according.

[8:36] Oh, there's something about this time of life. He said, he should have said, at the time appointed, I will return. And Sarah shall have a son.

[8:47] But he said, at the time appointed, I will return according to the time of life. According to the time of life. Is there anything too hard for the Lord?

[8:57] I'm asking you, my sister. I'm asking you, my brother. Is there anything too hard for the Lord? Why are you fasting and you are still thinking God won't do it? Believe God.

[9:08] This is the time you release all your faith and believe God. Trust God for a change of story. Trust God for a change of address. Trust God for a change of situation.

[9:19] Trust God for a change of condition. Trust God for your time has come. Trust God. Trust God. Trust God and fear not. Fear not.

[9:30] Don't believe. For he said, I'll return at the time of life. I want to prophesy into your life. Fear not.

[9:41] For God has regarded the low state of his servant, of his handmaiden. God has heard your cries. Amen.

[9:52] But how can he hear a cry that you are not crying? Pray about your case. Pray about your condition. Don't wait for anything to change.

[10:04] Let's change things with your prayers. Change things with your prayers. Amen. Change the situation with your prayers. Thank you. Amen. There was not much record about Samson praying.

[10:16] But when he prayed, he killed, he got more greater results than all the results he has got in all entirety of his life. Because he prayed. God loves when we seek his face and we pray.

[10:30] Fasting, adding fasting to prayer and to sowing seed changes everything completely. This is your season. I want to encourage you. Give yourself to the prayer and walk by faith and see if God will show up in Jesus' name.
