The Holy Spirit

[0:00] Welcome. Thank you for choosing to listen to another faith-building message by Pastor David Entry. Faith comes by hearing and by hearing the Word of God.

[0:11] May your knowledge of Jesus Christ increase as you listen. Be blessed. The Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit. The Bible says we all have the spirit of faith.

[0:26] We have the spirit. He said, no, I have the spirit of faith. So we speak. In 2 Corinthians 12 verse 13. Have the spirit of faith and so we declare.

[0:39] Have the spirit of faith. He said that, and since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, I believe, therefore I spoke.

[0:50] We also believe, therefore speak. Now, you can't believe and speak without the spirit of faith. It takes the Holy Spirit to empower us and embrace us to work.

[1:05] Because faith is not an ideology. Faith is not an opinion. Faith, faith is a spiritual reality.

[1:19] Faith is a spiritual reality. It's not an idea. It's not a certain principle to try and apply.

[1:31] Even though in the realm of thinking and arrangement, you can't even call it a principle. But faith is fundamentally not a principle. It's not a principle. It's a spiritual reality.

[1:42] And for you to work in spiritual reality, it takes the spirit of reality. The Holy Spirit is the only spirit of reality. The Holy Spirit is the only spirit of reality.

[1:56] The Latin phrase for him as being the only one of reality is Magister Veritatis. Magister Veritatis.

[2:08] Magister Veritatis. Veritatis has to do with truth. Verity. Verity. Assurance. Truth. The reality. Bible says that Jesus said, but the spirit of truth when he has come.

[2:22] John 16, 13. I feel like preaching. The spirit of truth when he has come. When he has come, he shall guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own authority, but what he hears, he will speak.

[2:37] And he will tell you things to come. He is the spirit of truth. The spirit of reality. Jesus said he is the spirit of truth. Chapter 15 of John, verse 26 or so.

[2:49] 26, I think so. He calls him the spirit of truth. The helper. But when the helper, whom the Father will send. The spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father.

[3:01] He will testify. He is the only one who can teach us Jesus. He is the only one who can teach us the things of God. He is the only one who can make help us to walk by faith.

[3:12] The spirit of truth. You can't be working with God. carnally carnally you don't care about spiritual things spiritual things don't have priority in your life meanwhile this thing is a spiritual thing I mean how can I I just appear in somebody's dream I mean what system will you use to appear in somebody's dream you will be using some system you know you go and use some systems and techniques that you can't there's no technology that will make you appear in somebody's dream you can't as somebody said it was shot and appeared in the dream and there have been a few people who have had dreams of me appearing in fact someone even said they saw me calling them in the dream and declaring some things and when they woke up things began to change in the dream this is this is spiritual

[4:22] I can't I can't flow with the Holy Ghost oh Magalas Shattakaya I can't flow with the Holy Ghost indulging in fleshly things I can't because that Romans now you see you guys are maybe I'm preaching on the Holy Ghost I'm just going oh my God Romans chapter 8 verse 7 is a very scary statement from verse 6 7 verse 6 look at verse 6 Romans chapter 8 verse 6 it said to be carnally minded is death but to be spiritually minded is life and peace if your mind is spiritual it's life and peace life and peace look at the next verse very scary one to be carnally to be because the carnally mind the carnally mind is enmity against God what what what would you believe this the carnally mind is enmity against God wow what what a statement thank you sir it's a serious statement maybe people haven't thought about it properly wow what does it mean to be carnally mind you you don't give regard to spiritual things just behave anyhow think anyhow you you are you are you are in church and you are thinking about some things to do things to do that does not honor God thinking about this

[5:54] I'm going to insult this person I'm going to attack this person I'm going to after this I'm going to meet the person I'm going to lie and make sure you are an enemy of God he said because the carnally mind the carnally mind is enmity against God for it is not subject to the law of God and nor indeed can be it cannot be subject to God when your mind is in a certain way when your mind is there's no way everything we say you have another version of it another version of it the carnally mind is the workshop of the devil not the idle mind the carnally mind is the production factory is the production center of the devil because it's real it's far that's why I said it cannot be subject look at verse 8 Romans 8 so then those who who are in the flesh you see you see

[6:55] I spoke about pleasing God to walk in favor you need to please God because when you have favor with God it begins to translate into favor with men and it says that those who are in the flesh you live in spite of what the word of God says in spite of what spiritual demands and spiritual dictates are I don't care I live anyway Pastor pray I'll tap into it I'm tapping into it I'm tapping into it when you finish I'm tapping into it when you finish you go and live the same way hey go and live the same way I'm about to quote a very strong scripture can we talk yes please don't understand when some people think some scriptures when you quote is too harsh but it's God's word we should we should approach it like a buffet leave some out and use some no every one of them is important every statement every letter in fact this is supposed to this way Matthew Matthew chapter I think 5 yeah

[7:57] Matthew chapter 5 17 and 18 it says that surely I say unto you till heaven and earth pass away not a jot nor or one tittle will pass will by by no means or one jot or one tittle by no means pass from the law till it's fulfilled in other words there are dots there are dots a tittle is the smallest smallest mark in the Hebrew alphabet just like ours may be apostrophe he said even the apostrophe of God's word is powerful it will be fulfilled so we can't choose some and leave some out so pastor but that scripture is so strong in fact there's a scripture in Hebrews chapter 12 it says that if you are without correction you are a bastard can you imagine yeah he said if God is not correcting and disciplining you you are a bastard I mean yes but this one I'm about to quote is even more severe are you ready for it in 2nd Peter chapter 2 verse 22 are you ready for this it's scary but it has happened to them according to the true proverb a dog returns to its own vomit and a sire having washed to her wallowing in the mare be serious alright a new living translation a dog returns to its vomit and another says a washed pig returns to the mat look look at this thing you are busy coming

[9:33] God has done good he has had mercy on you you are now you are now tapping you are tapping into testimony you are tapping into a prophetic word you are tapping into declaration why would you finish tapping and go back into the old ways no you can't when they send you a text message when that guy sends you a text message tell him no you are busy tapping you are tapping you are tapping so you don't have time to go back to your vomit when that lady sends a message said hey hi boy bigot you alright are you ghosting me you alright I'm not ghosting you I am tapping I'm tapping into my testimony I'm tapping into my testimony enough of the junk enough of the rubbish I will not return to my vomit a dog will throw up and then after he goes turns and begins to eat it a dog a dog but that will not be your story amen because when you are working with the holy spirit carnality we must work against carnality fleshly mindset fleshliness because to be carnally minded is enmity against god how can the holy spirit be guiding someone who is behaving like an enemy to the holy spirit wow so today we read paul as they fasted and five apostles and teachers so prophets and teachers in the church of antioch as they ministered to the lord verse 2 as they ministered to the lord and fasted the holy spirit oh lucky when the holy spirit gets the chance to speak to us oh holy spirit speak to us your voice is so sweet your voice is so sweet the sweet sound of the holy spirit for generations for over 400 years the holy spirit as it were it was situations were like the holy spirit was withdrawn for 400 years in the bible in the middle of your bible from genesis he's been working working working working and god speaking god speaking working god can't speak without the holy spirit presence so god was speaking god was speaking then it gets to the end of malachia and it's like the holy spirit goes silent god's active active participation and manifestation in people's life and prophetic declarations even though he was still working behind the scenes in history he was not actively using people or speaking through people as i would say actively speaking through people so it is called by theologians the inter intertestamental times the in between the testaments intertest there was silence it's like the holy spirit was out of duty or out of service for a long time for a protracted period of time and then guess what suddenly one priest he went to work and an angel appears to him he said you are going to have a miracle baby your wife will be pregnant your wife who is very old who is gone past a child bearing age she is about to have a child and in

[13:00] Luke chapter 1 he says that and she the child i think verse 15 or so he said the child watch this this is very serious the child shall be filled with the holy spirit from his mother's womb can you imagine no he wasn't born he wasn't born yet the holy spirit who people haven't seen him at work this child will be filled with the holy spirit from his mother's womb no wonder he became a mystery or a puzzle to many people john the baptist i'm talking about and so bible says that john the baptist was ministering he was preaching in the world way out of town very very far and the whole township was going there everybody was going there because for the first time in our lives we've seen someone the holy spirit is upon the person we've seen someone ministering with the holy spirit so he was attracting every you see when the holy spirit is upon you you become an attraction in those wilderness of judea and what happened he came and said repent and for the king and the bible talks about how everybody was going all were going he came he was preaching in the wilderness and all were going in the s5 says that in

[14:20] Jerusalem all and then Jerusalem all Judea and all the regions around Judah went out to him they left town they went out out of town so you call somebody where are you so I'm out of town I'm going to listen to John the Baptist he was the only Baptist who was not baptized he was baptizing people I'm going to listen to John the Baptist and Bible said all Judea all Jerusalem and all the surrounding regions the regions around the Jordan went to him people were going because for once in their lifetime for over 400 years the Holy Spirit has not been in action actively in a person's life and then suddenly they see somebody everybody wants to go and see everybody wants to go and see the Holy Spirit is the attraction for your testimony you cannot walk by faith without the

[15:25] Spirit of God you cannot walk by he's the Spirit of reality he's the only one who makes what is real from God manifest in your life I see divine manifestation in your life in the mighty name of Jesus Hallelujah people went to go and hear John the Baptist then Jesus comes on the scene he was born Jesus was born when he was born first year second year third year fourth year fifth year seventh year 12 year then when he was 12 years old they went to the temple as they did every month but 12 years old he's now a young man that's within the Hebrew or the Jewish at that time they are principal they are customers once you are 12 you are considered a man so you now travel with the men so he went and he got lost because the mother thought now he's a man he'll be traveling with the men the father thought well we are now going back so he will be traveling with the women because the children so after a long distance they realized the boy was not

[16:47] Joseph where is Jesus I thought he was with you they had to travel back about two days or three days they went back to go and look for him when they went he was in the temple Jesus was in the temple three days they found him in the temple they went and after three days they found him in the temple of God was that's why please don't be tired of hearing preaching some people they like music music is easy to like we all like music but we have to make ourselves and always go first of all for the preaching because preaching brings the power of God anyway so they found him among the teachers they said son and then they took him back when he went and submitted that's year number 12 after that we didn't hear from for 18 years we didn't hear from

[17:51] Jesus nothing nothing from Jesus nothing was busy making chairs and tables and beds yeah he was busy working as a carpenter then John the Baptist has always been busy baptizing people were going then Jesus also went to him and when he went to him he said please baptize me join the Baptist he said no I can't baptize you you are bigger than I he said please baptize me I need to fulfill all righteousness it's necessary you join a church you are let's say a musician very popular everybody know you have albums you join a church and then you won't even join the choir or you go and join the choir and you won't ask you you won't to be the director of the choir because you are a big man I was like please please don't bring that don't bring you a big woman no no no we don't do that it is that's not how it works that's not listen if you if you are a president in some country and you relocate to

[18:54] UK you think they will make you an MP because you are a MP they say oh no you have to be an MP because you are the ex president of some country no even a president of America when they can they make him MP no so some people as when they join the church they want to be giving position other than that they won't do anything it's a sign of pride it's a sign of pride it's just when John the Baptist was the one who is doing baptizing he said John no I will join your choir I will join and serve faithfully I said no you have albums your album is ranking number one on the four times on the chart and you want to join the you are the leader I am happy to serve I finished Bible school master in theology

[19:57] I have my PhD in theology but as I joined the church I am willing to serve I want to just you can't be here somewhere and you join a pastor because I was pastor where I was so why didn't you stay there why didn't you stay there you pastor pastor is not transferable please it's not transferable the fact that you are a father in your house doesn't mean when you come to my house now you are a father no it doesn't happen like that please it's a family life it's family hallelujah and so John the Baptist said please is someone learning something at all he said please please please no no no you are too big you are too big he said i'm not even worthy to do the sandal the lace of your sandal let allow me baptize John the Baptist said you have to baptize me i need to be baptized by you that tells you you and i i pride to baptize i need to be baptized by you and are you coming to me no jesus said look at verse 15 i like the verse 15 but Jesus answered and said to him permit it to be so for that it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness then he allowed him as soon as he said to fulfill all righteousness

[21:26] George the Baptist is a spiritual man that's why you can't do God's work without spirituality he understood what he meant for instance your father does something very bad and very wrong and or insults your mom and you want to really slap him he deserves a real slap but spiritually it is wrong you can't slap your father it's wrong so spiritually even though it looks okay to do some things spiritually it is wrong to do some things spiritually you can't be insulting your mother you can't do that spiritually you are breaking the spiritual protocol so John the Baptist said let's do what is right to fulfill righteousness John the Baptist said okay I got you this one you got it you got it but he humbled himself and then guess what oh hallelujah hallelujah amen it is it is at the point of his humility when he humbled himself and he was put in the water as soon as he came out of the water have you reacted wow wow as soon as he came up bible says that when he had baptized jesus jesus came up and when he had been baptized jesus came up immediately from the water and behold heaven opened as soon as he came up heaven opened and he saw oh oh what has not been happening that happened to John the Baptist he saw this time the spirit coming physically physically on a man and it was after that time jesus started his ministry so what i'm trying to draw your attention to is jesus could not do ministry without the holy spirit acts chapter 10 verse 37 and 38 how god anointed jesus of nazareth with the holy ghost and power who went about doing good healing all who were oppressed by the devil you see how the devil can trouble you oppression some sicknesses are really devil behind it coronavirus is a devil that has brought these things on people wow he said healing all healing healing healing not free healing all who were oppressed by the devil so normally we should have said healing all who were sick he said healing all if the satan behind jesus said so listen whatever sickness it is there are some causes some sources of sickness satan is the chief he sometimes will take advantage of maybe something you are not doing right you are not eating well you are not sleeping well and then you can't take advantage but he's the chief there are some sicknesses that can be healed just by medication some can be healed just by you know resting other things but some sicknesses it doesn't matter what you do surgery cannot clear it medication cannot clear it nothing can clear it satan must be confronted satan must be confronted there was a woman in the bible in luke chapter 13 bible says that she was bowed verse 11 she was bowed verse 10 and she could in no wise lift up himself and then jesus when jesus saw her jesus said woman thou art loot from your infirmity and straight away she was made straight and the pharisees who were sitting down sitting there were complaining and why is he making somebody whole and jesus said that when your your ship falls your good falls in the well you will deliver the good and help the good how much more this daughter this woman ought listen to the verse 16 ought not this woman being a daughter of abram what who what who satan has bound wow these 18 years

[25:26] so it was actually satan behind it that's why doctors couldn't help her it was actually satan behind it said whom satan jesus said this woman she's also a church member you are also a church member you should receive your healing you should receive your miracle you are born again you are a christian you should also receive i believe in god for you he said ought not this woman whom satan has bound satan has bound all all all these these 18 years ought not that means she also deserved to be loosed from this from this bone on a sabbath day whether that day doesn't matter whether it's in the night she just deserved to be set free but jesus christ was doing all this healing all people because god was with him and it was a function of the holy spirit jesus christ was like a man was a man fully man with the holy spirit on him that's why he was able to do the things he did now you want to operate by faith brother sister you need we need the flow of the holy spirit and so by implication if you are going to have the holy spirit that means if you are going to be working with the holy spirit that means you have to check your ways because he is holy spirit he is the holy spirit not the only spirit he is the holy spirit the holy spirit means he is holy sanctify we heard when we were leading the prayer we heard pastor john said tomorrow said tell the people of israel to sanctify themselves joshua chapter 3 verse 5 to tell joshua said to the people sanctify yourself for tomorrow the lord will do wonders amongst us it is going to be by the holy spirit so you have to cleanse yourself get yourself ready because god is about to visit in an extraordinary way please listen to this if i don't say this to you i'm not being honest and truthful if i don't say this to you infiltrations carnality fleshliness block the highway of god or block the divine intervention at a certain level in your life so it's good to believe god for grace none none of us is perfect we all have stuff to work on you know yeah we all have stuff to work on but there are some things that you can't entertain in your life when you are believing god for a major visitation you can't how can you walk by faith in sin the two don't go together we all have we have received the spirit of faith we have the spirit of faith so faith it's a spiritual thing it's a spiritual thing it's a spiritual thing so we need the holy spirit of power the holy spirit of truth the holy spirit of reality god is helping us i see god helping you amen i see god helping you something you should pray about is today tonight is god the breakthrough that is coming help me to sanctify myself help me to set myself apart to detach myself from infiltrations and pollutions pastor you don't know i've been trying i've been trying don't try just do it just go ahead do it god is your strength the scripture says i can do all things philippians chapter 4 verse 13 i can do all things through christ who strengthens me i can do all things i can do all things through christ who strengthens me so sanctify yourself receive strength from the holy spirit yes i will yes i will do it and you know what as you are listening to the word of god and trying to put the word of god into practice it's even cleansing you deeper deep deep deep cleansing deep

[29:27] cleansing on your inside because what god is about to do in your life is just beautiful it's just so beautiful i'm calling somebody onto repentance yeah i'm calling somebody onto repentance because peter when they asked peter what shall we do peter said repent and be baptized acts chapter 2 verse 37 38 peter said repent and be baptized for the remission of sin be baptized in the name of the for the remission and what will happen and you shall receive the holy spirit you shall receive the holy so for the holy spirit to come we must clear the path or clear the way make create create the room for him create the room for him create the room for him i know i know it's been an uphill struggle for a long time the devil has told you that's for you can't get over this the devil is a liar he knows you can and it's not by your strength it's not by might not by power but by my spirit says the lord when the holy spirit comes upon you you he will empower you to be able to do that and i see you receiving divine empowerment somebody is receiving divine empowerment to walk with the holy spirit to another dimension in the mighty name of jesus so for us to walk by faith it's a spiritual thing and whatever is born of the spirit is spirit whatever is born of the flesh is flesh john 6 whatever is born of the spirit is spirit whatever is born whatever is born of the flesh is flesh whatever is born of the spirit is spirit so when you begin to turn to your spirit and produce from your spirit you birth what is spiritual that's why we have to be spiritual minded we have to be spiritual minded
