Hearing Ears

[0:00] Thank you for choosing to listen to today's message by Rev. Dr. David Entry. We know you will be blessed as you seek and serve God. We believe that this message will stir up a desire for more of God even as you listen.

[0:13] Be blessed. I believe that tonight is a special night for somebody. It's a night of visitation, a night of empowerment.

[0:26] Yesterday, I spoke about how by faith, Abraham, when he was asked to go out, by faith, he obeyed, not knowing where he was going.

[0:47] But Abraham, when he was called to go out to a place in which he should afterwards receive, he obeyed. Obeyed and he went out not knowing where he was going.

[1:00] Obedience. Abraham, by faith, obeyed. The key word there is obeyed. The problem is, what if you don't hear? In Romans, it's chapter 10, it says that, for whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

[1:21] Verse 13. And then verse 14 says that, how shall they call on him or call on him whom they have not believed? So, your believing, your faith, okay, has everything to do with, how shall they believe on him they have not heard?

[1:42] So, what you hear determines the state of your faith. Your ability to hear is what determines the quality and the dimension and the level of your faith.

[1:57] There's a lot of the time people want to do, but they are void of hearing. So, when it says, how can, shall they believe on whom they have not heard?

[2:13] How shall they, how shall they believe in whom, in him of whom they have not heard? Hearing. So, tonight, I want to pray for our unstopped ears.

[2:33] Some, Satan has cock. You know cock, when you open champagne? You know the cock on top of? Yeah, Satan has a way of putting it in people's ears. Yeah.

[2:44] In fact, he says that, concerning Melchizedek, we have a lot of things to say. Seeing that, but you are dull of hearing.

[2:56] You are dull of hearing. I think Hebrews chapter 5 verse 11. Of whom we have many things to say, but hard to say. Because, what, you are, the problem is not our ability to say, but the problem is your ability to hear.

[3:11] There are some places, like when you go underground, and you want to enjoy radio, you might not receive radio signals.

[3:23] Why? It's not that they are not transmitted. They are transmitting. But your connectivity is so bad. And in my area, when you receive a call on your phone, it's, so that's one of my biggest frustrations.

[3:37] I come on the prayer line, and then it cuts. Because there's no stability. The signal strength in my area is so bad.

[3:49] Is it possible that there's so much God wants to do with your life by your signal strength? Your signal strength. Your ears are blocked. You know, the other time my wife had a little, it's like her nose was blocked.

[4:07] And she was on the phone. And at the same time, she was baking something. I was having a meeting in the garden. I smelled, the thing was not ready.

[4:19] It was then ready. But I knew my wife never misses them on these things. So, if it was me, I would have been concerned. My wife never misses some of these things. The thing was in the oven, and I smelled that it was ready.

[4:31] Then I continued with my meeting. Because, you know, some things, some smell can travel. Especially when you are fasting. Yeah, you can smell, you can smell Chinese restaurant from one, or a mile away.

[4:43] You can't say, there's Chinese, there's McDonald's. Because, so, I could, I could smell the niceness of the food.

[4:55] Then, guess what? I continued with my meeting. But later on, I smelled something was burning. But I know that my wife doesn't burn things. So, I just continued.

[5:07] Then later, I realized the thing has really burned. But I continued. I could be bought it. Because once my wife is in the kitchen, you don't have a problem. If it was me, you can have a problem. But, after everything, I finished the meeting.

[5:20] I, the person had left, the people I'm waiting with had left. Then I came to the house, the delivery. I could smell the thing. Then my wife was still on the phone. So, I decided to go to the kitchen, just in case.

[5:33] And then when I opened the oven, the whole thing has turned into black, like charcoal. Black. Everything was burnt. So, I couldn't believe. This is not normal.

[5:43] How could this have happened to my wife? Or maybe, maybe it's a new style of cooking. Maybe she's burning it for something. I wasn't sure. So, when she came off the phone, and I said, what happened?

[5:56] She said, my nose had blocked. So, I couldn't have any sense of smell. I said, if I'd known, when I smelled it, I would have. I didn't know.

[6:06] She said, she didn't have a clue because she was on the phone. Her nose were not working. Look at how things were. Is it possible that your breakthroughs are burning out because your ears are blocked?

[6:19] Your ears are blocked. Your ears are blocked. Your breakthroughs are burnt out. Things that are supposed to come to you are burnt. Your husband has been burnt by some girlfriend somewhere. Your potential wife has been burnt.

[6:31] Your job has been burnt. Why? Because your ears were blocked. God doesn't work with smell. He works with hearing. He works with hearing.

[6:43] So, he said, I was in the spirit. And I, Revelation chapter 1 verse 10 said, I was in the spirit on the Lord's day. And I heard behind me. I heard. It starts from hearing.

[6:54] He said, I was in the spirit. And I heard behind me. A great voice. I didn't see. I heard. I heard. When God wants to punish people, really want to punish them, do you know what he does?

[7:08] He said, these people, I'll give them a blocked ear. I'll block their ear. Isaiah chapter 6 verse 10. He said, I'll block their ears so they will hear.

[7:19] Isaiah 16. He said, these people, their ears will block. He says that, make the heart of these people fat. Make their ears heavy. Their ears heavy. And shut their eyes.

[7:30] Lest they see with their ears. And hear with their, they see with their eyes. And hear with their ears. And understand with their hearts. And convert and be healed. Block, block, block, block.

[7:40] Don't let them see. Let their heart be. And then block their ears. Nothing is going in. The same thing in Acts chapter 28 verse 27. The same, Paul quoted it.

[7:52] Jesus even quoted it in Matthew 2. He says that, for the heart of these people is waxed gross. Waxed gross. And their ears are dull of hearing.

[8:02] Is this not what Hebrews said? That there's so much to say about Melchizedek. But hard to say because you are dull of hearing. He said they are dull of hearing. And their eyes have. Their eyes, they. Yeah.

[8:13] Their eyes. Have their clothes. Lest they should see. With their eyes. And hear with their ears. And understand with their heart. And should be converted. And I should heal them.

[8:24] God was behind the blockedness of their ears. But when God wants to bless you. He will open your ears. Some of us. Your opportunity has burnt out.

[8:37] You don't even know. You don't know. Like when I came. My wife didn't have a clue. She didn't know. She said, oh. The thing was burning. Everyone in the neighborhood could smell it. But she alone.

[8:48] Her nose was blocked. It's blocked. And Satan has. He specialized in making. Bespoke. Corks for your ears. Bespoke. You know when you go to the airport. Those who help on the.

[9:00] Tarmac with the planes. They all have this. Big earphones. Yeah. It protects their ears. And Satan has deceived you. That he wants to protect your ears. And he has. You say, okay. No problem. For health. And he has pushed in.

[9:10] Spiritual cock. The spiritual cock. God is screaming out. From the rooftop. Hey. Hey. Hey. Can't hear. So don't be. Don't be.

[9:20] Don't be surprised that. In this fast. Some people will say. I mean. I can't be. Yeah. His potential. Their ears are blocked. In Revelation chapter 2 verse 7. It says that.

[9:31] They that have an ear. He that has an ear. Let him hear. What the spirit says to the churches. Let him hear. He that has an ear. Let him hear. Revelation 2. I like going to the scriptures.

[9:41] Revelation 2 verse 7. Revelation 2 verse 11. Revelation 2 verse 18. Revelation chapter 2 verse 29. It's the same thing. Verse 17. Sorry. Revelation 2 verse 17.

[9:53] Revelation 2 verse 29. He that has an ear. Let him hear. Revelation chapter 3 verse 6. Revelation chapter 3 verse 13. Revelation chapter 3 verse 22.

[10:03] He that has an ear. Let him hear. He that has an ear. Let him hear what the Lord says to the churches. Revelation chapter 13 verse 9.

[10:14] He says that. He that has an ear. Let him hear. You need. A hearing ear. To hear what the Lord is saying. Some people say.

[10:26] God speak to me. But how can he? When your ears are blocked. Listen. Brothers and sisters. In one of the teachings recently. I said that God can never be revealed.

[10:37] Outside of speaking. Because God is a speaking God. When you come to God. All you get is a word. If God wants to do anything for you.

[10:49] All you get is a word. He will speak to you. But the problem is. If you can't hear. That you are in deep waters. Because God is. He doesn't do anything without a word.

[11:01] So all things were made by him. Without him was not anything made. John chapter 1 verse 3. Without him was not anything made. That was made. Everything God does.

[11:11] Is a function of the word. Hebrews chapter 11 verse 3. Says that. By faith we understand. That all the worlds. Were framed by the word. By the word. By the word. The whole universe. Your shirt.

[11:22] Your dress. Your wig. Your shoes. Your watch. These are all functions. Of God's word. That has put some things in place. So then. If you are going to have. An upper hand over these things.

[11:34] You need another word. But what. What happens. If you can't hear. Because you can't even have faith. If you don't hear. Because faith. In Hebrews chapter.

[11:45] Romans chapter 10 verse 17. Faith comes. By what? Faith. God has faith come. Do you understand? There's a big problem.

[11:56] If your hearing is gone. Hearing is gone. Sometimes. Coming to meetings like this. Can help. Can serve. As hearing aid. There's to help you to.

[12:08] At least. Open the ears. A little bit. Because the way this pastor. Is shouting it. You say it. You know. Like we are laughing. By saying it. In a certain way. That at least. Will allow a little bit of. Sound to enter.

[12:18] Spiritual sound. To enter your spiritual ears. Then. We have to pray. That God. Open my ears. Touch my ears. In fact. In Exodus chapter.

[12:29] 29 verse 20. It said the high priest. The high priest. Because the high priest. Is going to stand between me. And the people. This is what you should say. You should do. Then thou shall kill a ram.

[12:40] Kill a whole ram. And take of its blood. And put it up. Upon the tip of the right. Right ear of Aaron. And upon his. Upon the right.

[12:52] Ear of his sons. And upon the thumb. Of their right hand. And upon the great. Toe of the. Said the thumb. The toe. But the right ears. Put the blood. Sanctify the ear for me.

[13:05] I need their ears. I taught the whole message. On sanctified ears. In Isaiah. Chapter 50. Verse 4. Said he wakens. Morning after morning. He wakens my ears.

[13:16] That I might. Said the Lord. Has given me. The tongue of the learned. That I should know. How to speak a word. In season to him. That is weary. He wakens my. I make. Morning by morning.

[13:26] He wakens my ear. To hear as the learned. So you see. Watch this. He said he has given me. The tongue of the learned. The tongue of the learned. Can only work. With the ear of the learned.

[13:39] So he said. For me to be able. To know what to say. And say it well. God has given me. He has given you. The tongue of the learned. That I should know what to say. He wakens every morning. He wakens.

[13:51] Morning by morning. He wakens. My ear. To hear. Because I need to speak. How can I speak. If I have no head. Thank you Jesus.

[14:04] How many of you know. That sometimes. One of your biggest problem. Is saying the wrong thing. Yeah. Saying the wrong thing. That's why they invite you. For interview. To see how you say things.

[14:17] Saying the wrong thing. Interview. Is determined. By what you say. A lot of marriages. Has broken down. Have broken down. Because. Somebody said something.

[14:28] The wrong way. You didn't mean it like that. But he also. Or she also. Took it extremely. And the thing. Became a problem. Communication. Saying the wrong thing.

[14:39] But when your ears. Are open. It begins to influence. Your tongue. And a trained ear. Will produce. A learned tongue. A wise tongue.

[14:50] If there is something. You should know. It's. Lord. You should pray. Lord. Open my ears. Sanctify my. In Jeremiah chapter 6 verse 10. Jeremiah chapter.

[15:01] 6 verse 10. What does it say? It says that. To whom shall I speak. Or give warning. That they may hear. Behold. Their ear.

[15:12] Is uncircumcised. Oh. That's the problem. And they. And they cannot. Harken. They can't hear. Why? Because their ear.

[15:22] Is uncircumcised. They cannot harken. Behold. The word of the Lord. Is. Unto them. A reproach. They have no delight in it. Why? Because their ear. Is not touched. So when.

[15:32] The things that excites you. About God. Somebody. He listens to this. Preach. He says. What else? This nonsense. Preach. It's because their ears. Are not circumcised. How many of you. Have heard that before? Somebody is listening. They were so excited.

[15:43] About a message. One day. I went for a pastor's conference. And Bishop. When the book came to speak. I was so blessed. When we left. I was with. So when we left. I was going with my pastor friend.

[15:54] I met him. So we were going together. I said. Man. I was so blessed. Did you think. How. He said. My friend. Why do you think he said this? He gave a spin. Over the things the pastor was saying.

[16:06] He gave a spin. Why do you think he said this? Because. That's why. Because they are. They are trying to. They are trying to encourage people. To stay in that church. Or trying to encourage people. To give money. They are trying to. They are trying to. To defend.

[16:18] Oh. This pastor. He. He gave us. I was shocked. I was so blessed. Until I spoke to him. He almost. Polluted my blessing. But I concluded.

[16:29] That this person. Has. An uncircumcised ears. Because. We can all hear the same thing. But not all of us can hear it.

[16:41] We are listening. But not hearing. So you want to pray. Oh God. Give me a circumcised ear. Stephen. In Acts chapter 7.

[16:52] It says. Ye of. Ye of. Uncircumcised. Of hearts. And ears. Ye of. Uncircumcised. Ye people. Stiff neck. Uncircumcised.

[17:04] Circumcised is my. It means that. The foreskin. That covers something. Has been removed. The foreskin. Stiff neck. And uncircumcised. In hearts. And ears. Ah. That's their problem.

[17:16] They do always resist. The Holy Ghost. People who. Are not circumcising. Holy Spirit is teaching you. He's telling you. Don't go on with that guy. Don't go on with that boy. The Holy Spirit. But you will hear.

[17:27] Say. Be faithful with your tithing. You will hear. Be faithful with your giving. You will hear. Holy Spirit. Forgive your mother. Forgive your sister. Forgive her. That your friend. It's okay. Holy Spirit is speaking. But you will hear.

[17:38] You will hear. He said. Don't answer back. Don't answer back. Your husband is saying. Don't answer back. You will hear. Later. He said. I didn't know. It's because you didn't hear. I want us to pray.

[17:50] This is only one prayer. If there's something. That this fasting should do for us. Is to. Is to give us. Circumcised ears. Because. There's no way you can walk by faith. Without circumcised ears.

[18:02] How many of you agree with me? I believe God is talking to somebody. But. It's not. Just that. Sometimes you don't even know what you are missing. You are missing something without knowing.

[18:14] Why? Because your ears are not circumcised. You are missing it big time. But you don't know. There's something in Galatians. Chapter 3 said. You will say. By the hearing of faith.

[18:25] Is hearing of faith. You are able to hear. For faith to generate. Or to be germinated. For faith to come alive. You are able to hear. The hearing of faith. The hearing of faith.

[18:37] In the book of. Galatians. Today we read about how. It says that. When. It pleased God. To separated me. From my mother's womb. It pleased God. Who separated.

[18:48] Verse 15. Chapter 1. Galatians 1. 15. When it pleased God. Who separated me. From my mother's womb. And called me. How can you hear. If you're. The call.

[18:58] If your ears are blocked. It said. When it pleased God. Who separated me. It's God. Who brought you alive. Who made you alive. And it says that. When it pleased him.

[19:09] To call. And called me. By his grace. That he will reveal. His son. Verse 16. That he will reveal. His son in me. That I might preach him. Immediately. I did not confer.

[19:19] Flesh and blood. How would you know. He's called you. If your ears are blocked. How would you know. He said. Excuse me. Hello. Hello. Hey you.

[19:29] Hello. And God is mentioning your name. He's calling you by name. David. Robert. Monique. Monique is calling you. Gabby.

[19:40] God is calling you. But you can't hear. Why? Because your ears. Are blocked. He said. There is your future husband.

[19:50] There is your future wife. Go to the left. Turn there. Take to the right. He said. You shall hear a voice behind you. In Isaiah. He said. You shall hear a voice behind you. I think Isaiah chapter 30.

[20:00] Verse 20. Verse 19. 20. Somewhere there. He said. You. And he shall. Thy ear. Shall hear a word behind you. Saying. This is the way. Walk ye in it.

[20:11] When ye turn to the right. And turn to the left. Supernatural sad nerve. Supernatural sad nerve. Can only work with your ears. He said. You shall hear.

[20:22] And because. God speaks. Most of the time. From behind us. He's talking from behind you. And you'll go. He's speaking from behind you. What would you do if you got here? But tonight.

[20:35] I see somebody's ears being enlightened. And being open. In the mighty name of Jesus. Finally. In Hebrews chapter 11. Hebrews chapter 11. Verse 11. It says that by faith.

[20:46] Sarah herself. Receive strength. Okay. By faith. Sarah herself. Sarah herself. Receive strength. To conceive. Seed. Takes faith.

[20:57] How? When. And he was delivered of a child. When she was past the time. Her time was past. But by faith. She was able to receive strength. Because. She judged.

[21:08] Him faithful. Who has promised. I see God. Giving you fresh strength. I see God. Visiting somebody. Please. Let's be strong in faith. Always pray that God.

[21:19] Help me to hear. When you speak. It's one of the greatest prayer. Everyone who wants to do well in God. Must pray. God help me to hear. Sanctify my ears. Sanctify.

[21:30] Circumcise my ears. That I will hear you. Open my ears. That I will hear you. It will be your greatest ending. Also. Grace to obey. When I hear.

[21:41] Those two things. One. It's one thing here. It's another thing obeying. Grace to obey. When I hear. So shall it be. You will never be put to shame. All eyes around you.
