Faith For Divine Encounter

[0:00] Thank you for choosing to listen to today's message by Rev. Dr. David Entry. We know you will be blessed as you seek and serve God. We believe that this message will stir up a desire for more of God even as you listen.

[0:14] Be blessed. Faith for divine encounter. Let's all say that together please. Faith for divine encounter. One more time. Faith for divine encounter.

[0:24] In Hebrews chapter 6 verse 2. All right. Let's take it from verse 1. Therefore, leaving the discussions of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go unto perfection.

[0:42] Not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works. Foundation of what? Foundation of what? Foundation of what?

[0:53] No. It's foundation of repentance from dead works. Okay. So, it's repentance from. But the foundation actually is a foundation of repentance.

[1:04] But it's qualifying what kind of repentance it is. Okay. So, foundation of repentance from dead works is a foundation of Christian work. Okay. Because we have to repent from dead works.

[1:16] Which I had taken time to teach on before. So, let me move on from there. But the second foundation it talks of is of faith towards God. Faith towards God is foundational.

[1:36] Faith towards God is foundational in your quest for spiritual and supernatural exploits. Faith towards God.

[1:46] Yes. Faith towards God is foundational in your quest for spiritual and supernatural exploits. Faith towards God.

[1:57] Is somebody hearing that? Faith towards God is foundational. Faith what? For what? Faith in a particular direction.

[2:10] faith in a particular direction so faith towards god faith towards god faith watch this faith towards god faith that is leading on to god in other words faith that is leading on to experiencing god there is faith that once you engage in that faith encountering god is unquestionable when you when you begin to walk in that faith you will always see god you will always experience god to experience god is a choice to experience god is a choice anybody anywhere bible says that for god is no respecter of person but he's rich unto all who call upon him from all nations he's rich unto all so anybody anywhere can encounter god in spite of what situation you are in you can and how do you do that faith faith that results in a divine encounters is foundational it's elementary principle laying again the foundation your spiritual life must rest on the foundation of faith towards god nothing will shake you and there's no way you get stranded in your in your spiritual journey because you have faith towards god somebody shout faith towards god so it's very important to understand and appreciate the fact that faith towards god is foundational in every spiritual quest for supremacy now inefficiency is a very interesting text i don't have too many texts to quote but i want to i want somebody to grasp something to comprehend and apprehend something inefficiency chapter one i love that there's anytime i quote that text i remember megatoes megatoes megatoes the power the megatoes or the megatoes is it megatoes the greek word for the power megatoes or megatoes that's what we gave me that megato and he explained to us that when the american president every time he's going somewhere that button if he press it it releases nuclear power it can describe it in mega that small button present it releases that power for untold destruction now he says the fish of the one verse 17 18 particularly 19 okay so when he said i'm praying for you in the verse 17 he said that that that that the father the god of the lord that the god of our lord jesus christ the father of glory may give to you the spirit of wisdom revelation and knowledge of him god number numbers verse 18 that the the eyes of your understanding being enlightened that you may know the hope the hope of his calling what is the riches of the glories of his inheritance in the same so these are two number two things he said you will know the hope of his glory second the riches of the inheritance amongst the same and then thirdly what is the exceeding greatness of his power megatoes it looks simple but it can it can change entire destinies not a destiny it can change destinies now watch this he said that my prayer for you brothers and sisters i'm praying that you will know or the eyes of your understanding will be enlightened that you will know what is the nature of the exceed he said the ex what is the exceeding greatness of his power power power now i'm about to drop that one now of his power towards us who believe okay so now so that's the sick uh the sick man he's not sick

[6:16] but this is for illustration okay and this is this person and then he now wants the power of god to do something for him like most of us here like all of us here and then whilst i'm passing make an attempt to either get to me touch my hand or touch my my garment okay let me show you how it works okay so believing as i explained you see for god so loved the world that he gave it's only because he said that whosoever believes so if you think that that belief is talking about just sitting down and mind belief no it's talking about faith because you are saved by grace through faith okay so when he said believe you have to look at it in the context he said it's faith that saves so there are times where you see the word believe which is actually meaning faith because he's talking about believing with action hello okay so the scripture we just read is that i'm praying that you will know the exceeding greatness of his power that works towards us who believe so i am this exceeding greatness of his power okay i'm always i'm i'm in a certain direction now this man needs power but all he has to do is to believe so let's let's say that he's he's going to believe and as i explained believing in this kind of belief involves action okay so put an action believe when you see me coming that's the manga the mega toss say mega toss he said i'm praying that you know the greatness that's exceeding jesus just said greater said the exceeding it's exceed exceeding greatness so whatever the situation the greatest more than that there's too much greater to deal with the situation it's exceeding existing limits so exceeding exceeding greatness of his power which works towards that so now when you see me coming begin believe okay once you believe that means it's actually going to add action trying to come to me so as soon as as soon as that this greatness of the power that begins to come towards him you see that so the power doesn't stay focus somewhere it only looks it goes in the direction of those who believe he didn't get it he didn't get it he didn't get it sit down again so this is the power this is the power okay this is the power so just move when i once i notice you start moving then the power start coming to you the pastor coming to you rise you lift you from your situation and move you away okay so now put it back on the screen he said that i'm praying paul said i'm not praying for the demons to leave you i'm praying that that god will give you the wisdom and the wisdom that god will give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him that the eyes of your understanding will be enlightened as soon as it happens you will know the hope of his calling and you know the riches of his inheritance amongst the saints and the last one he said verse 19 and that you will know what is the exceeding greatness of his power towards us who believe not everyone it is those who believe faith unto supernatural encounters so pastor otherwise do i activate this faith that makes god's power suspend every other thing and come towards me to change my condition so you can change your condition don't wait for anybody you say i i say i i i can change my condition how do you got to do it you have to step out in faith first go acts chapter 14 verse 7 the same scriptures the same scriptures i see somebody situation changing did you see what i just saw that's why i'm getting excited did you see what i just saw open your eyes

[10:19] open your eyes did you see it did you see it is that they were preaching the gospel there preaching the gospel i am not ashamed of the gospel of christ for it is the power of god onto salvation you didn't get it so they were preaching the gospel there where in charis they're preaching the gospel there there and in in lystra a certain man without strength in his feet was sitting okay a cripple from his mother's womb who had never walked this man had paul speaking paul observing him intensely seeing that he had faith you didn't get it seeing that he had what faith seeing that he had what did you see what he said it is that he didn't say he had faith for a mark for a car for a child for marriage so faith can be directional faith will always result faith has results and the result of faith is always predictable he was observing this man and seeing that he had faith to be healed faith towards god faith resulting in something faith with results so paul said hey hey gentlemen rise up because he already had faith to be healed the instruction was not a problem the instruction was no problem as we started praying you see what you wanted what you don't want to discover about good prayer when anytime you hit god you hit on the highway of prayer you begin to engage with god you always hear an instruction you always hear an instruction that will be required that will require faith when you pray anytime you pray you hit the motorway of god and you have encounter with god there is always there will be a corresponding action you have to take because hey this is good listen to this this is good heaven can move unless somebody moves heaven can move all heaven can do is for god so love the world that he gave is done heaven can move unless somebody moves did you hear that what did i say heaven can't move unless someone moves so so watch this watch this lift up your right hand and put your name personalizes say heaven can't move unless heaven can't move unless david moves say heaven can't move heaven can't move unless david moves so when we talk about faith towards or faith for supernatural encounters divine encounters faith that once you step is in a particular direction and as you see sometimes some people can have faith for healing but they can't have faith for marriage so faith is not like as i said uh an instant kind of panacea that everything it once you have one it covers all it must be directional all right did you get that so he says that the man had paul realized god paul observed intentionally and noticed that he had faith to be healed faith with that will result in healing faith that will result in an encounter faith that i see somebody operating in that faith i see somebody operating in that faith tonight the ball is in your court wait don't be in a hurry if you if you don't hear the gun to start the race and you run ahead of time you are disqualified now this complete disqualification

[14:20] you can be a usain bolt watch this you can be a faith who's a boat if you don't hear an instruction from above listen when you if i were you from today onwards anytime i hit my knee on my knees praying anytime i hit the highway of prayer i'll be expecting an instruction you didn't get it expect an instruction expect to hear him he said i'll stand upon my watch to see what he will say and how i will answer so anytime you get on your knees expect an instruction some of the instructions will be proposed to us but listen if you don't wait for an instruction for your particular case and you see somebody doing something so it's okay i think this is what i want to do you it may be false start now watch this watch this once you hear from him now the almost lies on you to step out in faith based on what you had faith comes from by hearing and hearing the word of the world let me show you the last scripture say faith in john in matthew chapter 14 that's 25 jesus was walking on the sea hey i heard something just now i see why he was walking some of you think because it's what he was god on earth that's why he was walking on the sea no no okay when they they they hit him they beat him this give him a serious lash with their tongues they did bleed by shooting and bled he bled i believe that when he was on earth he ate he weed he pulled normal because he was human being normal normal if people fall in the sea it will go down straight because normal he just was normal so that he's not very different he wasn't very different from but he was operating with certain laws now i'm going to show you because when he came walking on the sea the disciples got so scared like you and i usually everything we always get scared sometimes god is coming to bless you as soon as you see the miracle come you see a testimony come or you see something and we get so scared because of the way you're thinking our thinking usually is okay please it's not everything that lose carry that is against you sometimes somebody said there'll be an uproar at your workplace regarding your work it's like you very you are you've lost your job completely or you've actually lost the job or lost the house but it's going to turn to your good it depends on your level of faith he says fear not this eye all right so jesus started coming started coming towards them and when the disciples saw him walking on the sea they were troubled do you know why they were troubled because with the human mind no one can walk on sea that's why if they had seen him on this in the night and on the streets coming they would have been that troubled but they are they are fishermen they know you don't walk on sea they can imagine you are you are on there in a plane and all of a sudden you see somebody coming there's a it's on the track it's underground it's coming you'll be scared in the first place but how did you get here there's no normal it's not normal you open the lift you press the it opens nobody's inside you enter as soon as you enter somebody say oh are you

[18:24] also coming so so so quickly so most of us when we read the bible we read it as as though oh this was normal i'm telling you they were scared because the fear was justified because you don't want to walk on sea but guess what this way is going so how come why did he walk on sea why did jesus do that why how was he walking on sea because it can happen you are flying in the air nice and look all time somebody has come say hello it's not in anything but say hello okay okay let's go let's go come on come come i'll show you ah well are you looking for a white house come follow me and it's working no you'll be scared you i'm telling you never follow that person you would not do that so in the same way jesus jesus came and they were scared because men don't walk on water so how come this kind of man was working on water oh because it was jesus that's why you missed it because he wasn't the only one who walked on water get it now let's go down the text so verse what verse 27 um okay no no no the 26 and when the disciples saw him walking on the water they were troubled saying it is a ghost it is a ghost they right because that's what ghosts can do because ghosts don't have physical being so they can they can hover everywhere anyway so they said it's a ghost it's a ghost and they cried out for fear but immediately jesus spoke to them saying be of good cheer it is i do not be afraid and peter said answered him and said lord if it's you command me to come to you on the water he also specified on the water if it is you if you have been able to do it i should be able to do it because i know you are man i know you jesus i respect you and i trust in you but i know you so just give me a word and i know once you say i should come i believe it so what did you say i say come all right you won't come come and be yourself oh yeah that's all i need that's all i need i'm gonna come i'm gonna come so bible said it was peter was not pushed out of the boat he himself stepped out go to the next verse 27 and he just spoke 20 that's good and peter answered the very 28 if you command me to come so he just said come and when peter and when peter had come out of the boat he walked on the water to go to hey he did what was he a ghost how come how can man walking on water man walking on water he started walking on water how did he do it he says that this is embedded the answer after peter fell so go to the next one quickly verse 30 but when he saw the wind was boisterous he was afraid has anyone been there yes so he saw the bus rush wind he was afraid and began to sink he cried out saying lord save me go to the next verse then jesus immediately stretched out his hand and caught him and said oh you of what why did he say little faith because he began something oh so jesus was walking by faith on the water and he said all you need is just faith to walk you can walk on this thing but when your

[22:24] faith is little you can take three steps five steps and you because that's all your faith could take you it's like you are traveling from here to um where enfield and your tank you didn't put enough fuel and you put only fuel that can take you to elephant and castle so you move okay everybody will see okay bye they told you about there was a ah hasn't he arrived where is he oh he had only little faith he has some faith he has some fuel but my friend you are going to you are going to scotland and you oh you're going to manchester and you put five pounds fuel in your car your three liter engine you see what people have been doing and then later they said even god i don't know why god is not answering me hey you don't why you don't know you don't know why didn't arrive jesus said thou of little faith the reason why jesus said the reason why i'm walking on this water is not because i'm the son of god it's because of faith it only takes faith to walk on water now watch this today's message jesus jesus jesus if it is you bid me to come and what jesus said jesus said come now the boy was in his coat and watch this watch this is the message i'm ending here as soon as he took a step out of the boat he encountered the supernatural first time in the history of man apart from jesus someone else walked on water someone else encountered the supernatural why because he came out of the boots when he heard the instruction how does how do you encounter the supernatural you have to watch this supernatural is always ready as soon as you take a step heaven meets you as soon as you take it looks like nothing is going to show up but as soon as you take a step bam heaven is released as soon as you take a step of faith that's why i said don't don't don't don't don't don't do make a false start wait for the instruction wait to hear from god you know god is speaking to me wait and when you hear god's word you can't encounter you have a wet encounter come on don't waste time but was abraham immediately take a step step out of that comfort zone step out of that boat step out of it as soon as you step out you encounter heaven faith for supernatural encounter faith for divine encounter requires a first step from the super from the seeker i prophesy by your life that be empowered that you can take a radical radical step based on what you heard from the master based on what the master told you i prophesy that you will take a radical step and that step will release results because every faith releases results every faith is results producing any faith that doesn't produce results is no faith somebody is about to step into a miracle that business must take off that job situation must change somebody's destiny must change somebody must get married somebody must have their own child somebody's marriage must be okay somebody must be healed it it requires a step of faith step out and see god step out and see god step out and see god step out and see god step out and see god we thank god for using the servant reverend dr david entry to share this awesome word if this message
