[0:26] My soul thirsts for you. Verse 8. My soul follows close behind you.

[0:39] Your right hand upholds me. I am very thirsty for you. Verse 1 says that early in the morning, oh God, you are my God.

[0:50] Early in the morning I will seek you. My soul thirsts for you. My flesh longs for you. In the dry and thirsty land where there is no water. When there is no water, what do you thirst for?

[1:01] Is there no water? Is there me? No, it's God. I won't. Where there is no water. Dry land. He said, I thirst for God. Psalm 42, verse 1.

[1:14] He says, I ask the dear pants for the waters. So my soul pants after you. My soul thirsts for you. For the living waters. Verse 1.

[1:24] Verse 1. As the dear pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for you, oh God. I explained this some time ago.

[1:38] That in the wild. Sometimes when you watch these lions, they can eat. They can eat other animals.

[1:49] Yeah. And that's their job. Their job is to eat other animals. And the eatable ones, the vulnerable ones are the animals that only eat grass.

[2:02] Herbivorous. Herbivorous. Herbivorous. Herbivorous. Herbivorous. And then there's the ones that eat flesh. Carnivorous. So they normally don't, the lions don't normally eat carnivorous animals.

[2:16] They eat the herbivorous animals. So the sheep, the goat, the zebra, the ox, those are the ones that lions like.

[2:28] And top of the list is the deer. The deer can run on a steep hill like this. Steep.

[2:38] He can run, run on it and go up, up, up, run. So that's why it says that he makes my feet like the hind feet. Right. In Habakkuk chapter 3 verse 18.

[2:55] Habakkuk 3 verse 18. He says that I rejoice in the Lord. Verse 19. He makes, the Lord is my strength. He will make my feet like the deer's feet.

[3:07] And he said, he will make me walk in my high hills. Because it's only the deer that can really go rocky, stones, steep.

[3:18] The deer doesn't have a problem. It can be walking. So if you run after deer, he can run fast. And he can run in high places. And they don't have claws. Yet their feet can be stable.

[3:30] So he says that my God will make me walk in my high place. He makes my feet like the highest feet. Wow. The deer's feet. So the deer is fast.

[3:40] But they have one problem. They can run and run and run. And the lion is also fast. But the deer can be very fast. And the lion or the tiger or the pooman.

[3:55] Or cheetah. Because the deer has a problem. He has a particular smell. So a lion too can sense.

[4:07] There's a deer somewhere here. It's hiding. So the smell can lead the lion to know where he's hiding. You know like sniffer dogs. So the sniffer dogs, they can sniff things.

[4:19] The lion can also sniff the deer. So when the deer's life is in danger. And the lion or cheetah or tiger is coming after it.

[4:30] It can run fast. But it doesn't run for a hiding place. Because why? If he goes to hide. They'll still find him out. Because it has a.

[4:41] When they run. They even smell more. So what it does is. The only thing that can neutralize the smell. Just like you and I. Is water. But the good thing is.

[4:53] The deer has also. Sensitivity for water. If there's water. Five miles away from here. He can smell it. So when his life is in danger.

[5:06] It doesn't run for hiding place. What does it run for? Water. As the deer pants for water. So my soul pants for you.

[5:17] Oh God. You are only. My hiding place Lord. Because when I'm in you. I'm fine.

[5:29] How hungry are you for God? He says that. So pants my soul. So if you don't understand. The deer pants. You understand. It's a very strong statement.

[5:42] I'll go for God. Instead of a boy. I'll go for God. Instead of a girl. I'll go for God. Instead of money. I'll go for God. Instead of fame. I'll go for God.

[5:52] Instead of. People liking me. I'll go. I don't care. I'll go. If I can go for God. I know I'll be fine. I know I'll be fine.

[6:04] You must have such. A thirst for God. Verse 2 says what? My soul thirsts for God. For the living God. When shall I come. And appear before God.

[6:15] And somebody stay at home. When we say church. He doesn't want to come out. This one says. I can't even wait for church. When shall I even come? What time is the service? Why are we not having service?

[6:27] A little earlier. Oh. I can't wait. That is what distinguishes people. It's not your ability to scream. But your genuine hunger.

[6:40] And thirst for God. Wow. When you're younger. Your passion can achieve a lot. Because your passion can channel.

[6:52] Your strength in a particular direction. And where your strength is channeled towards. To determine what you can achieve. But when you are older. Your strength is less.

[7:05] That's why it is always good to see God early. When you are young. And you don't seek him partially. You seek him with all your heart. Yeah.

[7:17] Psalm 119 verse 162. I rejoice at your word. As one who has found great treasure. Great treasure. The kingdom of God.

[7:28] Heaven is like a man who has found. A land of great treasure. And goes and sells all that he has. And comes to buy this land. First Timothy chapter 6 verse.

[7:46] Verse. It's so powerful. It's so powerful. Listen. Let's all read it. What? But the land who desires to be rich. All in temptation. As I said.

[7:57] And into many foolish and harmful lusts. Which proud men in destruction and temptation. Foolish. Foolish. Foolish and harmful lusts. Change the translation.

[8:09] Let's see. Let's go for NIV. And NLT. And then the other one. Okay. Let's go. Let's read it. What is a foolish and harmful desire?

[8:29] It's a foolish desire. It will hurt you. It's harmful. It's foolish desire. It's harmful. It will hurt you. It will hurt you. It plunges men.

[8:40] Plunges men into ruin. You have to spoil everything. You spoil it. NLT. Let's go. But people who want to be rich.

[8:50] For all in temptation. And are trapped by many foolish and harmful desires. That plunges them into ruin and destruction. It's the same thing. Alright. Now let's finally see the message. If there is only money we feed us all about.

[9:05] There's self-destruct in their time. There's self-destruct. There's self-destruct. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No.

[9:15] No. No. Hallelujah. Amen. So. If you're a Christian. Never desire. Your weakest desire shouldn't be to be rich.

[9:27] Yeah. It's true. It's not necessary. Pastor. You say we shouldn't be rich. No. God can help you to be rich. Amen. But why do you want to be rich? Amen.

[9:38] Amen. Amen. Why? Why do you want to be rich? There is something in you. That is looking for material things. So you have shared it to God who's blessed to me.

[9:50] No. There is something in me. Yes. Jesus told the man go and sell everything you have. Come and follow me. The man couldn't do it. Yeah. He couldn't. Because his man, his life is too attached to the things.
