A Hearing Heart

[0:00] Thank you for choosing to listen to today's message by Reverend Dr. David Entry. We know you will be blessed as you seek and serve God. We believe that this message will stir up a desire for more of God even as you listen.

[0:13] Be blessed. I want to talk about, what am I supposed to be talking about? Hearing from God.

[0:30] Hearing from God or hearing hearts. Thank you, Jesus. In Hebrews chapter 1 verse 1, the scriptures say, God, who at various times, in various ways, spoke in times past to our fathers by the prophets.

[0:55] How did God speak? In various ways. By the prophets to our fathers. In various times.

[1:06] In various ways. So, God has always been speaking. In Genesis chapter, I'll come back to Hebrews.

[1:19] But in Genesis chapter 3 verse 9. After Adam and Eve have sinned. Bible says that, Then the Lord called to Adam and said, Where are you now, oh boy?

[1:38] Where are you, Adam? It's not because God didn't know where they were. When God asks a question, it's not because he doesn't have the answer. He asks the question just for you to know where you are.

[1:51] So, where are you? And then verse 10 says that, So he said, Let's all read it together. Let's go. So he said, I heard a voice in your heart.

[2:03] And I was afraid because I did it. And I did not know where you are. He heard what? A voice. Now listen. So long as this record is concerned, The very first time, actually, Genesis chapter 3, From verse 1.

[2:20] And the serpent was more subtle than all the animals. And the serpent said to Eve, Has God really said? Don't eat. And the woman said, God said we may. And then he went on.

[2:32] God is lying. You see, the devil said God is lying. Isn't it what they've been saying so much about the word of God? About this is a man. The enemy cannot attack until he attacks God's word in your mouth.

[2:44] Or in your heart. Because the only thing that guarantees victory for the believer Is the word of God. Not your prayer. If your prayer is void of God's word, Come on.

[2:57] It's not prayer. It's chanting. So when the devil came to Jesus, He said, If you are the son of God, Jesus said, It is written. He came again.

[3:08] He said, If you are what? Jesus said, It is written. Then he came again. He said, Cast yourself. Jesus said, It is written. In fact, The devil also tried to play the trick by saying, For it is written. He also quoted.

[3:19] And Jesus quoted. The only way you can leave the devil Is by constantly keeping God's word in your mouth. The psalmist said, Thy word, It's at 119 verse 11. Thy word have I hid in my heart That I might not sin against you.

[3:33] You don't want to sin. I'm sorry. You will sin. If there's no word of God in your heart. You will sin. Because you know what? You are a professional sinner. Right. Right. Right.

[3:43] You are a sinner by nature. Yes. We all. All of us. I can preach and sin. God forbid. But until the word stays in my heart, The only place, The storage.

[3:56] You know, Most homes, Most homes have storage. Depending on what kind of, Some of the storage is so small near the radiator. There's a big room. There's all kinds of, In fact, Many people, They convert storage into bedroom too high, To rent out.

[4:10] But, But, But, you know, Um, There is a space, You know, Because you are a house. How many of you know that? The demons said, I'll return to my house.

[4:22] All right. So, You are a house. The holy, The apostle said, Don't you know that you are the temple of the Holy Spirit? So, You are a house. And, But part of your house, There is a place, Which is only meant for storing God's word.

[4:37] You can't store God's word in your mind. You can't memorize it. But until it enters your heart, It can't work in your life. The only place the word of God works on human beings, Is not their minds.

[4:51] So, Sometimes we preachers, May be busy preaching, But be preaching to the minds of people. That's why a pastor must be prayerful. That's why a pastor must spend time with God. That's why a pastor must not be a sinner.

[5:02] That's why a pastor must be genuine, Have a genuine walk with God. Because until you walk with him, He can work through you. And so, You walk with God, And when he begins to work through you, God does not appeal first to your mind.

[5:16] He goes straight to your heart. And from your heart, Begins to work on your mind. A woman can have a very hardened heart, That this guy don't like him. But if you can get her heart, Her mind will change.

[5:32] Vice versa. A man can say, No, She's not my type of woman. Don't worry. Don't worry. Just stay quietly, And get busy winning his heart. Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, If you can win his heart, His mind will follow.

[5:44] Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes. What is the use of a mind that cannot change? Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Every normal mind, Healthy mind, Is susceptible to changing.

[5:55] Yes, Yes, Absolutely. Some of you didn't know church was so good. Yes, Yes, Yes, You were out there, Out there, Blasting church, Oh, Church, Church, Church, Now you can't have enough of church. You see, Your mind has changed because of your experience.

[6:08] All right, So, So, God's word has only one place in our lives, In the human vessel, Where the word can be stored. And when trouble, When affliction, When the devil, When anything comes, First of all, You have to go to storage to check if you've got it.

[6:25] The reason why every car needs a tank, Every car that moves by fuel, Even if it's gas, LPG, It will need a storage compartment.

[6:39] The Americans have a certain, American army has a certain place, I think it's called C5 or so. It can, It can refuel, Need air. Why does it need fuel?

[6:50] It's big enough. No, You need fuel to store, So it can keep you going. Most of us, Unfortunately, There's no storage for God's word. So you act on impulse, And are expecting heaven to show up.

[7:03] Or are expecting Satan to back off. No, He won't back off, Because you can say like others are saying, But if it's not from your storage, You can say, Jesus, I know, The devil will say, You can say, In the name of Jesus, Who Pastor David preaches?

[7:18] Or in the name of Jesus, Who Paul preaches? Acts chapter 19 from verse 11. You can go and say, In the name of Jesus, Who the Christians have been praying about, In the name of 12, 13, That was, He said, You can say that, But you know what, If, If you don't, You are not speaking from a storage capacity.

[7:35] The demon will say, Listen, Those guys praying, I know them, And I've been shaking when I hear their voice. But you, Who are you? You are just saying it from your mind, It's not from your storage. And Satan will whack you.

[7:49] That's what happened. And the men run away naked. The devil said, I know Jesus. The devil said, I know Paul. Can you imagine?

[8:00] Satan asking someone who is trying to challenge him. Satan said, The demon said, Excuse me.

[8:12] What did you just say? You? Because your father is a priest, You think he gives you audacity to deal with me? No, The Jesus you mentioned, I respect.

[8:26] I know him. The Paul you mentioned, I don't know. But you, He said, Next time, Don't make this mistake again.

[8:38] And the demon jumped on seven strong men. One demon. Jump on these seven strong men. And whack them. And strip them naked.

[8:49] And come and see big men. Forgive. So, Psalm 119 verse 11 says that, Thy word have I, Some translation puts it this way.

[9:04] Thy word have I stored up for use. So, So, The word of God is not just for mental, Um, Illumination.

[9:17] Or for education. So, I know. I know. Like the other religious books. And so, Can you imagine? You see, A Muslim. Who will take the Bible.

[9:29] And he said, Let me show you the Bible. Because, You see, They are reading it from a mind point of view. I know most of us here by now must have heard someone say that the Bible contradicts itself. Ha ha.

[9:40] Laughable. It's your eyes that are blind. Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes. You're just dead stone blind. Yes. So, You think the Bible contradicts it. Because you've been reading and seeing things just as the text.

[9:52] How many of you know that sometimes you can take a document, legal document, And read it and not get it? Yes. And the lawyer will read it and tell you, This is what it means. This is what it means. This is what it means. But we all could read. Yeah, We could read. But you don't understand what you are reading.

[10:03] Yes. If you are not born again, You can't understand what the Bible is saying. Because the Bible was not meant for you if they were in the first place. Yes. Now, Listen, Listen.

[10:16] There's one interesting thing you have to know about Jesus. Can you imagine? Jesus has crowd. He has crowd. And he's teaching them. He has crowd.

[10:32] Jesus saw a crowd. And he's teaching them. And guess what he does? According to Matthew chapter 13, From verse 11.

[10:45] No, He starts, Can you imagine? Wait. He starts telling, Teaching them in parables. Parables are not something, Lessons for us to learn.

[10:56] Parables are statements that are hidden, So not everybody can find out. But why are you teaching them? Don't teach them. If you don't want them to know, It's better you don't teach. But Jesus said, Don't worry.

[11:07] I will teach. They want to hear. I will teach. So he taught them in parables, So they won't understand. And the disciples came and said, Sir, Why are you teaching in parables?

[11:19] Can you explain it to us? Look at verse 11. He answered and said, Because it has been given to you, To know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, But to them, It has not been given.

[11:33] Verse 12. For whoever has, To him more will be given, And he will have abundance. But who does not, The little you don't even know about the Bible, He said, Even what you have will be taken away from you.

[11:48] Go to the next verse. That's why you can't go into a church, Where you are not taught the word of God. It's not a church. God deserves the right, To be heard in the church.

[12:02] Therefore, Therefore, Therefore, Watch this. Therefore, I speak to them in parables, Because seeing they do not see, And hearing they do not hear, Nor do they understand.

[12:17] He said, And he quoted Isaiah. Isaiah even said, That, And, In them, The prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, Which says, Hearing you will hear, And not understand. Seeing you will see, And not perceive.

[12:29] You are seeing, But you are not getting anything. Isn't that interesting? And so, People will make noise about, The Bible, If the Bible, If the Bible really, I don't understand, You are not meant to understand, Oh, dummy.

[12:44] Dummy. You are not meant, So those people, Who come to you, To argue, On the scriptures, I think you don't have to, Waste your energy.

[12:57] At all. At all. You don't have to wait, Okay, If the Bible, Prove me. Don't waste your breath. It's not for mental exercise. It's for spiritual nourishment.

[13:09] Man must not live, By bread alone, But by every word. That means, The word is for eating. Yes. For eating. So, Feed on God's word.

[13:19] And if you're a believer, If you're a Christian, Then it has been given, To understand the mysteries. That's why, You don't have to be discussing, Details of church, To neighbors, To friends, To family, Who are not Christians.

[13:34] They won't understand, They will actually attack the church. Yeah. That's right. You are giving them, Right? You will attack the church, And say, Oh, They'll go there, And they tell everybody, Lift your hand. And then, Unbelievers.

[13:46] That's why, I don't personally have delight, In interviews. We haven't gotten there yet, But I don't see, What's the point? An unbeliever, Journalist, Interviewing, What have I got to say?

[13:59] I don't have anything to say. I'm not a politician. Go and talk to the politicians. Me, I'm not a politician. I'm just fronting for a big God. If you want a question, Go and ask it.

[14:13] Thank you. Don't be too eager, To defend God. Others fight for their gods, And they kill for their God. God doesn't need that.

[14:24] He can defend himself. You can, We or the Bible spit on it, And Christians are not supposed, To attack you for that. No, Why? No Christian, Is doing Christianity, Or is honoring God, For attacking you, Because you insulted God.

[14:37] He's not Christian. He's not Christian. God doesn't need anybody, To defend him. He's God enough. He's God enough.

[14:51] Let me jump ahead of myself, And come back to, Paul told them, That you, When you were an unbeliever, When you were an unbeliever, You used to worship idols. He said, You are carried away, By dumb idols. He used the word, Dumb idols.

[15:02] 1 Corinthians chapter 12, Verse 2. Dumb idols. And I'll explain, Why dumb? You know that you were, You know that you were Gentiles, Carried away, To these dumb idols, However you were led.

[15:16] You were carried away, Dumb idols. God is not dumb. He speaks. Idols don't speak. They don't speak.

[15:30] All these gods, They don't speak. God is not dumb. He's always speaking. He's a speaking God. He started, So, Taking, Going back to where I started from, In Genesis chapter 3, Verse 9, He said, Where are you?

[15:43] He said, We heard your voice. I went very far. You know, I was talking about, Satan came with the word, He came to challenge the word of God, And all that. All right. And, He came, When Satan came and attacked the word, God hasn't spoken.

[15:58] The first time God spoke, In Genesis, Sorry, In Genesis chapter 3, Is when he came, Verse 9, Verse 9, Then the Lord called Adam and said, When you called Adam, Where are you?

[16:12] He said, I am, Yes, I, What did Adam say? God, I heard your voice in the garden. So, Before you called, I heard you. It wasn't the calling he heard, Because God is a voice.

[16:25] God is a word. He is the word. And for the word to be relevant to you, The word will speak to you. Listen, Anytime you go an inch towards God, You will hear him.

[16:39] Every time you go an inch towards God, You will hear him. You will hear, You will actually hear him before you see anything. If it is God, His voice will be heard.

[16:54] Because God's presence is attached to his voice. So, Moses told them in Deuteronomy chapter 28 verse 1, Moses said that if you shall hack him to the voice, Now it shall come to pass that if you will diligently obey the voice, Not the word.

[17:20] The voice. If you will diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, To observe carefully all his commandments, Which I command you today, That the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.

[17:40] And these blessings, Blessings are a function of obedience. Blessings don't come indiscriminately, Because today God had a good rest, And he felt like, Let me bless somebody.

[17:55] No, It doesn't behave like that. It doesn't behave like that. Blessings are not a chance. Blessings are not an act of chance. Blessings are specific. Specific.

[18:06] Blessings come with name on it, Address. Specific. Blessings don't come to everybody anyhow. No. You have to do something for God to bless you.

[18:20] You have to provoke the blessing. Look at when he came to Abraham, One of the most blessed men ever. He said that, In Genesis chapter 12 verse 1, And the Lord, The voice of the Lord came to Abraham again, And said to the, The word of the Lord came, And now the Lord had said to Abraham, Get out of your, You see, He came with an instruction.

[18:41] Get out of your country, From your family, From your father's house, To the land which I will show you. Get verse 2, To the land, And I will make you a great nation. The blessing didn't start as, I'm going to bless you.

[18:53] No, He said, Get out and I'll bless you. Get out and I'll bless you. Blessing always comes with an instruction first. When you buy a gadget, You get a gadget, And then you look at the instruction manual.

[19:08] Usually, Most gadgets, They do it such that, You get to the manual first, Before you get to the item. Like the iPhone.

[19:19] Kind of. You know what I'm talking about. Like printer. It's big in front. Before you get to the, You know, Most gadgets, You get there before.

[19:30] But most of us, Usually, Don't care much. We want to see the machine, And watch. Put it aside. Put the gadget aside. And God said, That you want my blessing, I'm going to give you, The instruction first.

[19:44] And you, He will not put the item, You have bought the item, But you get the instructions. And when you get the instructions, Go according to instructions, Then the item begins to show up.

[19:55] That's how blessings work. Somebody shout hallelujah. So, He said, You obey the voice of your God. The voice of your God.

[20:07] As I said earlier on, In Hebrews chapter 1, Verse 1, God in times past spoke, And in these last days, He's still speaking. Verse 2 says that, In this last day, He's spoken to us, Has in this last, Spoken to us by His Son.

[20:23] Alright. So, He started speaking, He's been speaking, The reason why He's been speaking, Is because God, He's a speaking God. You have to understand that. Until you understand that, And operate with God, On that premise, You'll miss a lot of things, God has for you.

[20:37] So, In the first place, Please let's establish the fact, That God is a speaking God. He delights to speak. He's always speaking. God, I can't say it's a talkative, It's negative, But God is a speaking God.

[20:48] He's always speaking. Anytime you go anything, Any closer to Him, You'll hear Him. You'll hear Him before you see Him. You'll hear Him. God is always speaking.

[20:59] And so, When you read the Bible, The Old Testament, I said it the other time, 3,800 times, In the Old Testament, You hear, That says the Lord, Or the word of the Lord came.

[21:12] That says the Lord, That says the Lord, And the word of the Lord. 3,800 times, Because God has always been speaking. But I know the problem here is, But I don't hear God.

[21:24] I want to hear God. Take it easy. That's where we are going. Because I'm talking about, How to hear God. First of all, Let's establish that God speaks. No, If God speaks, It's even God is speaking. God is speaking.

[21:36] How many of you are aware that, At the moment, There are some radio waves. If you can tune, You hear LBC, You hear KISS, You hear Premiere, You hear, Depends on, Depends on, What frequency you're tuning.

[21:47] Some people are talking at the moment, That's where you're here. But you can't hear them. It doesn't mean they are not transmitting. They are seriously transmitting. It's just you who are not tuning in. That's right. Yeah. Yeah. So, Before you say, God doesn't speak to me, Please check your tuning apparatus.

[22:07] Check your frequency. Yeah. Because possibly, Where you are, You are not going to hear him. Amen. Why does God speak? Because human beings Can't make it on our own.

[22:20] Yeah. I saw this trick, It's very nice. in Jeremiah chapter 10, verse 23. Amazing text. I said, what?

[22:31] This is why it's in the Bible? What? Oh, Lord, I know the way of man is not inside him. Yeah, it's not inside you.

[22:43] The kind of woman you have to marry, it's not inside you. How to know? It's not inside you. Where you are going to or what your children will be doing and which school to attend, even though you haven't had a child.

[22:58] Everything is written already, but it's not inside you. That's why people get confused. I don't know. I don't know what to do. I've got two offers from this company and the other company, very good offers.

[23:09] They are equally very good. I don't know what to do. Yeah, because the way of a man is not inside him. That is why you must learn how to get to God, to guide you.

[23:24] Proverbs chapter 3, verse 5, it says that, Trust in the Lord with all your might and lean on. Proverbs chapter 3, verse 15. Verse 5.

[23:36] Yeah, verse 5, sorry. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean on your own understanding. Look at the next one. In all your ways, acknowledge him. And what is he going to do? He shall direct your power. You need direction.

[23:47] Tell someone you need direction. You need direction. Direction. You need direction. You need direction. Now, there's almost every good phone has got a satan.

[24:01] There are different Google and Waze. Can you imagine the other time my daughter asked me, two of them both, they both asked me, Daddy, don't you know the way to church? I said, I do. And he said, but why are you using the air?

[24:13] Satana. I said, you'll grow to understand why. But I use, most of us use, when you know where you're going, you don't use the map.

[24:27] But now, the kind of satan that have come, they help you to avoid the traffic areas. So, me, I use them for traffic. Traffic.

[24:37] Purely traffic and ETA. At least you know when you're arriving there. That's why I use it. I don't use it because I don't know the way. I know a lot of other ways, but the optimum one, that will give me the best and fastest, I don't know.

[24:52] Something up there is called a satellite. It's very high. Satellite navigation. So, you are navigating based on the satellite. Why don't you apply that to your actual life? Why don't you apply that to your actual life?

[25:07] Because in Jeremiah, Jeremiah said that the way of a man is not inside him. It's with a satan. It's not inside.

[25:19] This morning, I was in a hurry. I didn't even use the satan. And I got somewhere. There's a roadway. A lot of heavy, heavy traffic. Yesterday, in fact, yesterday, okay, can I tell you?

[25:32] Yesterday, I got to church late. Because when I was coming, the satan was telling me to go through a route I didn't find. And I used the Google map and just looked at the red spots.

[25:44] I know my own way. So, I decided to use ignore the satan. You know, when you ignore it, you calculate it and show you. I kept doing my own thing. And then, he kept adding more time to my ETA.

[25:59] To be honest, I regretted. I should have listened to the satan. Because my old ways before I started using the satan, I didn't know it wasn't very reliable. Because that one didn't come with ETA.

[26:11] So, my old ways, when I was coming to Graceland's office, the old paths. I didn't know that that is actually not the fastest. But I was always used to it. So, in this instance, when I saw the traffic on the way that normally, the satan normally, I said, let me use this other way.

[26:25] I know the way. Before you sat in the afghan, when, when, when, when. I don't know. And I was late. I was actually severely late.

[26:38] Because I chose not to listen to the one who can see ahead. And I was just judging by what is in front of me.

[26:49] The kind of body the woman has. You are judging by vital, body vital statistics.

[27:05] You are judging by the kind of car the guy drives. Well, you have not realized that he even doesn't know. His father was a chronic humanizer. And the seed is in him.

[27:15] He's about to manifest. He doesn't even know. And he's going to start after the first child. How would you know? You need satan. You need your God nerve.

[27:33] Because the way of a man is not inside him. You are about to sign up for a deal. That will cost you. Because you are not doing it by the way.

[27:45] That's why, you see, it is critical to hear God's voice. Let's finish that text. And then it says that it is not, the way of a man is not in the, I know, I know the way of a man is not in himself.

[28:01] It is not in man who walks to direct his own steps. You can walk. You can walk. But you can't direct your own steps. Boy. Tell somebody, I really need God.

[28:15] I really need God. But what is, what is, it's a very powerful scripture. Powerful scripture. What is, what is a bit worrying too is, the believer can bring yourself into the class of an unbeliever when it comes to the voice of God.

[28:32] Yeah. Watch this. Unbelievers are not entitled to God's voice. Yeah. And God does not, God can speak to unbelievers.

[28:45] Yeah. But he only speaks to them in their conscience. So when you are an unbeliever, God will speak to you in your conscience. When you are doing something, you know, you know deep in your heart, you're not supposed to be doing it.

[28:56] But you are convincing others and convince yourself, I know it's okay. I know it's okay. But there's nothing wrong with it. But deep in your heart, you know. You know you're not supposed to be doing that. You know it. You're not supposed to be saying what you are saying.

[29:08] You know it. But you block your mind. It doesn't matter how to say it. You know it. And there's a way you can block your conscience. According to 1 Timothy chapter 4, it says that the conscience can be sealed.

[29:21] So your conscience has become numb. Hmm. People who walk or who crawl, who can't walk.

[29:34] Yeah. Let's say they have issues with their limbs and their cripples. When you see some parts, they are, they are, they are, they need. Yeah. Wow. It is hard like a camel's.

[29:45] Yes. They walk with that. Yeah. When you look at many sisters, you can see they can't, they don't pray. They don't kneel down praying. So you can see smooth. Ah. That's one of the areas you have to investigate before you.

[30:01] Yeah. I know you tell me you stand.

[30:12] Read your Bible. Kneeling to pray. Kneeling is a posture of humility in prayer. Paul said, I will go on my knees in prayer. Yeah. So, um, the, the, the, the reason why the knee of a cripple is so hard is God, they use it very often.

[30:34] Whatever you use very often becomes use to be used. That's true. So, when your conscience, conscience becomes seared, you know, you can be, there are people who can run on their knees and not feel it.

[30:59] Yeah. Wow. Because, and, like, bass guitarists. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Or drummers. You will see their, pam. Yeah. The stick. The, the last time I tried playing kunkah, I suffered severe blisters.

[31:14] But why don't they play? They have played it so much, so it has become kind of seared. Now, your conscience, the Holy Spirit can use your conscience, even when you're a believer, to tell you, don't do it.

[31:25] Don't do it. You keep doing it. It goes to a time, you don't. Yes. And not. This is what happens to unbelievers. They, they ignore the voice of God and keep doing, keep doing. It gets to a time, God withdraws, so he doesn't talk to you again.

[31:37] Not that he didn't, not that he didn't tell you. He, Romans chapter 2, verse 15, said, they are conscious. Romans 2, 15, talks about the conscience of man. So, so, it's not that God has stopped, not, not that God, who, who shows the work of the Lord written in their hearts.

[31:53] They are conscious, also bearing witness, and between themselves, they are thoughts accusing or excusing them. So, God will be talking. People who are not born again, they know it deep in their hearts.

[32:06] This is not right. I can't do this. I can't do this. It's just like a traffic light of God inside you. But what happens when your conscience becomes seared, there's a problem.

[32:19] God can't guide you anywhere. And so, and when you go very far of trying to cut off from God, I don't care, God now withdraws. So, Bible says God gave them up, Romans chapter 1, God gave them up to reprobate minds.

[32:34] Their minds are so become corrupted. What is completely off, they say, it's fine, let's celebrate it. For this reason, God gave them up to vile passions.

[32:46] God gave them up. All right. God gave them, give me the King James. King James says that God gave them up to vile affection. How does NIV put it?

[32:58] God gave them over to shameful lusts. God has said, now go ahead, do it. He has returned. So, you do it. You now feel, there's nothing wrong. I don't see why you do it. You know, but from the beginning, the conscience will start to talk.

[33:11] All right. Let's move on before you get worried. So, excuse me. So, for the unbeliever, it's their conscience.

[33:25] But for the believer, it's not just their conscience. You have more. God actually speaks to you. Now, the problem is most of us want to hear God.

[33:38] Hello. So, you are sleeping here. Hello, Johnny. You have been watching too much my book of Bible stories.

[34:05] Psalm 28 verse 1. Very interesting text for the believer. Can you imagine how David prayed? He said, to you, I will cry, oh Lord, my rock.

[34:15] Do not. He said, God, I can't afford your silence. It almost means like I'm almost like as dead as an unbeliever. How come you're a believer and you're operating in silence?

[34:44] Do not be silent to me. Lest if you are silent to me, I become like those who go down to the pits. I need your voice. I need to hear from you all out.

[34:58] Listen to me, brothers and sisters. God wants to talk to you more than you want to hear him. So as to whether God is speaking and he wants to talk to you, it's out of the question.

[35:10] He's actually speaking, one, and he's interested in speaking to you and making sure you get it. If you have a child who, say, is deaf and dumb, you'll find a way of communicating.

[35:28] It's your job. You want to. More than the child wants to hear, you want to communicate to the child. How much more God. God wants to communicate to you. He wants to speak to you.

[35:39] Don't let it look like, oh, as for me, I don't have the gift of hearing from God. And there are certain people who everything. And the Lord said to me, the Holy Spirit said to me, I'm going to tackle that in a minute.

[35:49] The Holy Spirit said, the Holy Spirit said, the Holy Spirit said, the Holy Spirit said. Every time. The Holy Spirit said, I should sit here. Or she's like, oh, string.

[36:00] You said, no, the Holy Spirit said, I should sit over there. That's any signs of mental health. Oh, yeah. Wow. Wow. Wow. You can't imagine you have come to a church.

[36:18] You have come to a church. Can't imagine you have come to a church. And they are giving you a seat. And you are telling them, no. The Spirit of God is telling you. There are people, the Spirit of God are put in place to usher you.

[37:29] When you read the New Testament, there are two words translated as word. W-O-R-D. Word.

[37:42] Word. There are two words, Greek words, translated as one. For instance, there are quite a few Greek words translated in English as love.

[37:57] So when they are writing it, the English language is not that rich in vocabulary. So they are translating it from a very rich language, Greek, to English.

[38:08] And so, Greek will use agape. They will say love. Greek will use stoige. They will say love. Greek will use eros. They will interpret it love. They translated love. Greek will use fellow.

[38:20] They translate it as love. Why? Because actually, to a certain extent, it means love. But a Greek man will never say, I fellow my dog. Because fellow is for brothers.

[38:33] Brotherly love. Or a Greek, I cannot, you know I love my daughter. I cannot say, I eros my daughter. No, that's for erotic, like, eros.

[38:43] That's where the word erotica comes from. That's eros love. Erotic love. Romantic love. So you can't say, I eros my brother. I eros my sister. You fellow your brother, but you don't.

[38:55] But, so he said, oh, I eros my brother. And the other person said, I eros my wife. But English said, I love my brother.

[39:06] I love my wife. I love ice cream. And I love my dog. What is the difference? It doesn't mean, we get it. For instance, in Russia, the Russian language has not got the word murder.

[39:23] So it's just kill, kill. So it's like, so if you are translating murder, you just translate as kill. Then you understand what. Please leave Buti alone.

[39:33] So, the Greek word translated as word. There are two words translated as word. One is logos.

[39:46] Now, logos. So John chapter 1 verse 1, it said, in the beginning was the logos. And the logos was with God. And the logos was God. Now, what is logos?

[39:58] Logos is the written, settled, eternal word of God. So, Psalm 119 verse 89, it said, forever, O Lord, your word is settled.

[40:10] Now, this word is talking about the logos. For eternity to eternity, you can't change what is written. The word of God is the same. The written, when you read it, when you go to it, is the same word in heaven.

[40:23] That is the logos, the written word. So, when you come to the Bible, guess what? You have come to the logos. You are reading the logos, the written word of God.

[40:38] But, so, you, I like this, thank you, Jesus. You read logos, you don't hear logos. So, if your eyes are gone, then maybe you may need braille.

[40:49] But, logos is red, it's not head. Am I communicating something? Yes, yes, yes. But, the other word, the Greek word for word, is rhema.

[41:01] R-H-E-M-E. Rhema. Rhema is the spoken word of God. The spoken, the spoken word, spoken to a specific people or person.

[41:12] A specific word, spoken to a specific people or person, for a specific, at a specific time, for a specific reason. So, the rhema.

[41:23] The rhema is something that, so, sometimes, maybe you are reading your Bible. And, you know that your sister, what he did, what she did against you, you are very upset with her. And, you have determined that you will never give her any of your lunch again.

[41:36] It doesn't matter. And, then, you are reading the Bible and you come across, forgive those who sin against you. Now, that is not just, it jumps at you, you know that somebody is talking to you.

[41:48] That's that. Now, that moment, it becomes rhema. Others may read through and see you forgive. But, you, the thing jumps at you so much, you can't deny God is telling you something.

[42:01] You can't deny God is telling you something. So, the rhema, the rhema of God, so, it says that, Romans chapter, Romans chapter 10 verse 17, it said, Faith comes.

[42:16] By what? By hearing. By what? By hearing. Not reading. Not reading. Hearing. What you hear determines what faith comes.

[42:28] Faith comes by hearing. And, hearing. I told you, you don't hear, you don't hear logos. So, by hearing and hearing, not of the logos of God, but of the rhema of God.

[42:44] So, I got to hear God's word. Something must come. You can hear. You can hear. Faith comes by hearing. Faith. Let's all say, faith comes by hearing.

[42:55] Faith comes by hearing. Please say it very loud. Faith comes by hearing. So, if you want faith, you got to expose yourself to hearing. Different types of hearing.

[43:07] You can read it, and as you are reading it, you hear something can jump out to you. You know clearly. And, sometimes, you never forget it. You never forget. Because, you know what God told you.

[43:19] Others may not know, but you know what God has just spoken to. Or, sometimes, you come to church, and the pastor is preaching, and he says, boy, this man is talking too much to me. This man is talking too much to me. This is what I was discussing yesterday.

[43:30] How did you know this word has been on my mind? Yes, it's not him. It's rhema. Rhema is coming to you. Rhema is coming to you. And, without rhema, you'll be lost.

[43:40] So, when we talk about hearing the voice of God, we are not talking just about the logos, but we are talking about the rhema. So, without the rhema of God, you'll likely be lost. Without the rhema of God, you'll miss your turning.

[43:53] Without the rhema of God, you can easily be a victim to the demands, desires, machinations, calculations, arrangements, and satanic plots, the plots of the enemy.

[44:07] Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Is somebody understanding this? Very important. Quickly. So, we all have to desire to hear from him. When God came to Solomon, and he said, Solomon, Solomon, in 1 Kings 3, verse 5.

[44:24] Solomon! Solomon. The Bible said, that night, God appeared to Solomon in a dream by night. And said, God said, ask what you shall, I'll give you.

[44:35] God came down to come and collect prayer requests. That's very interesting. Because he did some sacrifices. Who told you sacrifices don't move heaven? The Bible says that, and Solomon sacrificed a thousand burnt offerings.

[44:53] The king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there. That was a high place. So, offered a thousand burnt. Do you know what that means? Catch a thousand bulls.

[45:04] One. How many of you know that's even working itself? It must be someone who really loves God to an extreme to do certain sacrifices. The way some of us are so protective of your resources.

[45:20] He's a reflection. Solomon gave a thousand burnt offerings, and he saturated heaven with the sweet perfume of his sacrifice. To the extent that God had to come down that night because there's smoke was to watch.

[45:33] He felt like he was choking. He has to come.

[45:46] Isn't it not in the Bible? Look at verse 5. At Gibeon, he went to do it at Gibeon. At Gibeon, the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream by night. That same night. He had to come. He said, ask.

[46:00] And ask me anything. Ask me, what do you want me to do? Ask. Ask. He gave him a blank check. And Solomon didn't say, my enemies are troubling me. I need a wife.

[46:11] He liked women. So, if he were you, he would have asked permission to marry more. And that's what the importance is in some people's mind. That if God gives you a portrait, you marry more.

[46:35] Solomon didn't ask for material things. He said, oh God. Verse 9. Oh God. That you give me an understanding.

[46:46] Then, he said. Give me an understanding heart to judge your people. Now, that word understanding heart. The word, the original Hebrew. Translated understanding. Is also, it means, actually.

[46:57] Actually means hearing. Okay. You want me to lead your people. God. I don't need anything. Give me a heart that can hear you speak. A heart can.

[47:09] And then, God said that because you didn't ask for your enemies next. You didn't ask for riches. You didn't ask for anything. But you asked for. You asked for.

[47:20] He said. I'll give you an understanding heart and wisdom. So, he didn't say give me wisdom. He said give me an understanding heart. God said. What do you have asked? Actually means wisdom. Because to hear from God, it makes you wise.

[47:34] Okay. Does it surprise you why the Bible says that. A fool has said in his heart. There's no God. I think Psalm 14 verse 1. Or Psalm 15 verse 1.

[47:45] He said. A fool has said in his heart. Because it is too obvious. It will take a certain level of mental blindness. To say there's no God. The fool has said in his heart.

[47:57] There is no God. It's not a sign of intelligence. In reality. It's a sign of foolishness. According to the word of God.

[48:07] So. Solomon asked for an understanding heart. Now listen to me brothers and sisters. When it comes to hearing from God. This is key. God.

[48:19] Most of us have been saying. God. I want to hear you. I want to hear you. He's always speaking. You see what I'm saying. I want to hear you. You don't hear God with your natural ears. You hear God with your heart.

[50:36] Because God works. With corporate bodies. So first of all. He allows. Eli. Who had backslided. To show him. How to listen to God. Number two.

[50:48] God didn't tell him. Because. He wanted Samuel. To learn. How to hear him. So you can learn it. You can practice it. Learn it. Learn it.

[50:59] How to hear God. How to hear God. It doesn't come immediately. God is always speaking. But you can develop. A listening ear. You have to develop it. You have to develop it.

[52:34] Submit yourself. It starts with submission. You want to hear from God. God doesn't speak to the proud. Anyhow. So most of us think that God will speak to us. In our.

[52:45] Through our tympanic membrane. Audibly. You are expecting. Hello. No. Listen. God only speaks to people who he doesn't have a relationship with. That way. If he wants to develop a relationship.

[55:10] Let me just go ahead because I'm very fit into it. When God speaks to you, watch this, watch this, you like this. When God speaks to you, his voice is so peaceful.

[56:45] We have to pray. That should be your prayer. God, open my ears. Open my ears. And when I say open my ears, I'm talking about your inner ear. Your inner ear.

[56:56] There is... Your heart has got ears. Your heart has got eyes. And when God is working with you, he'll be showing you things in your heart which others are not seeing.

[57:11] So, most of the time you hear me say that the Lord is telling me, the Lord is telling me. It's not a voice I heard. He's been talking to me in my spirit. And God actually loves so much to talk to us.

[57:23] Because he's a speaking God. I said it. God is a speaking God. The closer you got to him, the more you keep hearing him. Any inch you take towards God, the first thing you start hearing.

[57:37] You will hear like, no, no, no, no. You just hear, inner, inner. And he'll be giving you instructions. He'll be telling you. Now, how to develop a hearing ear?

[57:55] Okay. Number one. Proverbs chapter 4, verse 20. Thank you, Jesus. I thank you, Lord.

[58:09] Proverbs chapter 4, verse 20. And then 20 and 21. This scripture is so powerful. How many of you like the scriptures at all?

[59:30] You think it's prayer you need or deliverance you need. No, it's the word you need. So, because you know you have an important meeting ahead, catch some rest early.

[59:43] I can't afford to sleep late or not to sleep at all because I'm doing the talking. So, most of the day nights, I don't sleep normal.

[60:00] Because I have to finalize preparations for this morning. So, some of you are thinking, how do you remember all these scriptures? I've been preparing. I've been preparing. They were not injected in my head when I was asleep.

[63:39] Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Something told a little child that helped me to find that. You say I'm too big. I don't need help from children. Something mighty man. The strongest man ever lived.

[63:51] He asked. He solicited help from a little child so he can find the pillars. If you are too old to humble yourself, God can help you. I've been in church 17 years.

[64:05] I've been in church 22 years. I've finished seven theological colleges. I have a PhD in divinity. I have another PhD in bibliology.

[64:16] I have another PhD in angiology. I have a PhD in Christology. I have a PhD in eschatology. I have a PhD in pneumatology. I have a PhD in anthropology.

[64:26] Come on. Excuse me. Excuse me. It will take you anywhere. You have all that. But humble yourself. Incline your ear.

[64:36] Because God said. There is a song. The Lord is in his holy temple. Let all the earth keep silent before him. When God is about to speak, everybody should incline your ear to his sayings.

[65:30] Waiting. Demons wait. So you too also be able to wait. Wait on God. Some of us are always in a hurry. I hear people say. I hear people say.

[65:40] Ask for me. I can't be in church for more than one and a half hours. It's because you are not looking for God. But you can sit at A&E for four hours. You can watch football for that long.

[65:52] Including the breaks. When you go to the stadium. The time it takes to settle. And the time it takes to leave. I mean. But you don't mind. It doesn't matter. You can be at the party for eight hours.

[66:05] Dancing and dancing and dancing and dancing. That one you can do it. But when it comes to hearing from God. And being in an atmosphere with believers. You say. No. I don't have time. I don't have time.

He will not come and say something that contradicts what he has already said. so if it is of God it will be in agreement with scripture God won't tell you to go and do something that scripture says don't so clearly you know that that can be of God this woman I will never forgive her I will never forgive her nobody will change my mind I believe the Lord wants me to deal with her no God won't let you not forgive somebody so you are out of the remits of scripture and that is the most dangerous place to operate when you are outside of scripture because anything outside of scripture is satan's theory you can't fight satan in his camp how can you jump into water to go and fight with shark you need to be well covered and well kitted come bare hands and he said well God doesn't have anything bare hands and there was a time I watched a movie some time ago and then the hero said no put the gun away no no the villain said put the gun away don't use the let's fight because he didn't have the gun the villain he would have shot by his gun he said no if you are strong enough put your gun away and let's fight hand to hand you know

[73:34] I'm going to show you in a minute if you consult other things for spiritual insights or to know the future and now now in a lot of West African churches when I say a lot not a lot but there are young people coming up and have not got anything to do with the Christ or the church and they call themselves prophets and they are they are telling people it's soothsaying you come and consult me I'll tell you what's going to happen and most of us we have itching ears we want to know we want to know what will happen next year next two years we want to know the stock market we want to know this listen what you have to know is the voice of God and sometimes God there are times he will tell you of things to come other times he won't tell you but he will lead you he will just lead you to where you must be and so when you give yourself to soothsayers and to horoscope widget board palm readers necromancy that's the word

[74:46] I was looking for necromancy and all that all that you know witchcraft is there wizardry mediums the yeah Harry Potter listen it's not it's not just a game it's not just a movie it's programming it is programming give your children open your children up to those things they are being programmed to have a desire and start to but why when you when you say let's pray a movie so let's pray and begin to push prayer people there will be public I'll cry but you let's do this one it looks okay witchcraft being displayed on our screens evil being displayed things that exposes people to demons who come with seven stronger demons yeah but that looks okay anyway

[82:34] I have to obey someone shout peace peace well I'm finishing I left with only two that might not do well number three confirmation of circumstances confirmation of circumstances thank you Jesus there will be um when you read the Bible the situations you know situations will come and situations will come when is God okay things will just begin to fall in place so certain circumstances will confirm it will just confirm listen listen

[83:40] God told you to start a Bible school and everybody you are not sure if it's God but you felt it's God and everybody who comes to the Bible school but impregnates somebody's wife or something backslides and it's continuous it's a sign it's a sign please close down the school God hasn't spoken to you the signs are too obvious that God is not working there everybody who comes backslides circumstances are showing you you are telling me that God said you should relocate to go and live somewhere in Kent and from the day you went your car broke down and after that your washing machine the roof broke and every time you lost your job things are not working everything is shouting against you circumstances are telling you that something is wrong you say God said you should do full time and for three months you haven't eaten please leave that full time and go back into main time and then later later

[84:40] I get you what I'm saying so circumstances God circumstances will let you know that this one is God you wanted to buy a house in maybe in Dagenham your cousin lives there and you sold this house but the house is never for sale and you feel like God said this house you buy it and one day you went to the house you live in it belongs to the your tenant and your your your it's never said you know they treasure the house he said he bought this house for his children and you feel like this house God is telling me my wife and I should raise money to buy it but you haven't started raising the money because you feel no it can't be God maybe it's not God but every time you pray you have peace and then one day the landlord came and he said you just asked maybe have you thought of selling this house and he said yesterday my wife and I were discussing it it's to a confirmation that something that normally wouldn't even happen suddenly after God spoke to you things are falling in place confirmation of circumstances sometimes

[85:43] Satan can also trap you to make things fall in place but it won't be in line with God's word it won't draw you closer to God if God gave you that opportunity you won't be backsliding in it how come that man God said he'll marry you and he said one day he'll be a pastor he'll be a prophet but the man has made you lose your Christian testimony every time you see him you don't live the same all kinds of things downloaded and you will live damaged and when you come to church we are praying you can't pray you only cry oh God hey God didn't give you that guy run away run away from him run away from him run away from him you wanted someone to help you to pay your rent and he came he has a lot of money he's doing everything for you you prayed about it and because he came you said God no Satan tried to answer the prayer just to keep you trapped because it's affecting your work with God it's not of God and then finally finally the last one how do you know it's God how do you know

[86:47] God is talking to you this is a very valid one public confirmation of other believers other believers this is this is crucial and I'm done my time is going like that hmm alright confirmation of other believers let's get this in Acts chapter 3 Galatians chapter 1 verse 1 Bible says that Paul watch this let's already out loud from the screen Galatians 1 let's read it out let's go loud loud loud so he's an apostle not from men not through men men didn't call him it was a personal encounter with God so God has called me to be an apostle he had a personal encounter but he needed a corporate confirmation so in Acts chapter 13 verse 1 Bible says that the church that was in Antioch it mentioned their name the church that was at Antioch

[87:50] Galatians Acts chapter 13 verse 1 said now in the church that was in Antioch there were prophets and teachers say prophets and teachers Barnabas Simeon who was called Nega Lucius of Sirene Manion who had been brought out with Herod the Tetrarch and Saul these are five guys they were praying okay they were praying and then the Holy Ghost said watch this the Holy Ghost said to them the Holy Ghost said to them separate unto me Barnabas and Saul for the work which I have called them he was called to be an apostle but he was operating as a prophet and a teacher and God had already given him personal witness but not through men but when the men gathered and they were all there these are serious guys these are serious spiritual guys their confirmation came to them and they all said oh God said he has called you so we release you so there was an agreement already Paul knew it but God didn't say go unilaterally so God used the others now watch this it matters through whom

[88:51] God speaks and confirms his word to you it matters you are going to get this guy who is always not in church always talking against churches talking against pastors to confirm the word God gave you is not spiritual enough it's not spiritual enough a non-tider can confirm that God said he should build a house for the church he can't confirm it he doesn't believe in giving he doesn't believe in giving whoever God uses so it matters who God uses now why did God use these people this means number one to strengthen the faith of Paul because Paul can now know that others have witnesses to this so he strengthens his faith even when he's going to difficult times he strengthens his faith number two it also validates Paul's call to fellow believers other believers know that God has really called him do you understand that because they all are witnesses and then number three it's interdependence of members of the body it helps that so you can't do things unilaterally you have to depend on others now watch this

[90:05] I was saying this yesterday everybody who has been appointed a pastor or a minister in this church some of them I called them they didn't know I just said minister Gina from today you are this I called them from me I just didn't think and do it when God impressed it on my heart I consulted pastor if she had said no I wouldn't have gone ahead are you listening to me because we work together in this way I can't say God speaks to me and doesn't want to tell you what anybody is saying no I won't listen God speaks to me but he also allows others to be used as agents to money recent pastors were ordained I spoke to pastor Frank and pastor Charles I made them aware these are the people we are going to if they say pastor I'm not convinced about this one even though I feel God is leading me I'll pause how come you God is needing you unilaterally in spite of other believers you want to marry this person you say

[91:08] God wants me to marry that person meanwhile other Christians around you are telling you that we feel very concerned about this person you have to pause pause because other believers feel concerned about this thing pause very important other than that you move yourself into a harm's way and Satan will buffet you Satan will buffet you the word came through fellow believers of proving integrity and maturity not everybody at all teachers and prophets were the one who confirmed his calling not just people fellow believers of proving integrity and maturity people who are beginning to confirm God's word check them very well check their spiritual maturity and integrity somebody who is always cheating on their wife cannot be used by God to confirm a major word in your life someone who is always dodgy is living a dodgy life is a believer but living a dodgy life living in fornication will not be used by God to confirm a word a major word in your life the character and the integrity of a person matters somebody learning something you you hardly go to church you go at will anytime you feel relaxed and then you go as and when you hardly go to church it will be hard for God to use you to speak major things into people's lives so long that your destiny is concerned because you don't spend you don't prioritize

[92:37] God wow now watch this relationships right relationships are very important to God or in God being able or in us being able to hear God's voice right relationships certain relationships and in the New Testament watch this in the New Testament there are three relationships that God attaches special importance to in the New Testament so when God is speaking to you he attaches special importance to certain three types of relationships in your life which you can't circumvent and say it doesn't matter God has speaking to me if you go unilaterally against this relationship I'm about to mention it's likely it's not God and even if God was directing you and they object you have to pause number one relationship God uses mightily in the New Testament is the pastor church leader and church member relationship what anybody who it happened in quite a few churches anybody who goes on to marry a certain person in spite of their pastor's query and warning they always regret it they always regret it big time anybody who takes a major decision in their life in spite of pastoral or spiritual leadership warning that I don't think you should do this let's spend time to pray about it let's be careful and pray about any time you go ahead it's likely it's good because the spiritual people in your life are also like guides

[94:10] God will use them to guide you and God places a great importance on these relationships very important you are going to you want to relocate to China and your spiritual leaders are telling you that I don't think it's the right move maybe you should wait let's pray a little bit when God speaks to me I don't listen to men but you can hear him wrongly you can hear him wrongly you'll be hearing yourself and thinking it's God I know many Christian brothers who have gone to women and said God said you'll be my wife meanwhile choosing God is their own lust if you like something so much you'll hear yourself so number one is the pastor or church leader and church member relationship God doesn't circumvent it's a very important relationship the New Testament attached great importance to very important and so in Hebrews chapter 13 verse 7 it said that those observed your leaders whose faith you should follow remember those who have rule over you who have spoken the word of God to you whose faith follow considering the outcome of their lives considering the outcome of their life when me or any of the pastors advise you about a step you're about to take don't say all my friends say it's good be careful if God is speaking to you he will use his service number two important relationship cannot be circumvented husband and wife relationship you are taking a major step in your life and your husband said no

[95:48] I don't agree and you say but God spoke to me so I'm going to do it on your own God will not back you unless of course the person is leading you into sin and you say I will sin against God that's different but if you want to take a certain decision and you said I will do it unilaterally in spite of what anybody says I will never disobey my God you are lying you are lying if it is of God it doesn't fear being subjected to interrogation scrutiny and questioning by important people in your life if it's of God if it's of God if you can't subject listen any religion that can not be brought under scrutiny for people to question and charge is dodgy what are you hiding Christianity we are not afraid of you can interrogate Christianity lambast us even use us as comed this and this like we are not afraid because we are not afraid it doesn't matter the word of God stands firm and short so if you heard from God if I heard from God that God said we should do something

[96:51] I should go and Pastor Charles Pastor Frank Pastor or some of the younger junior pastors say Pastor we feel we feel very uncomfortable about this decision I don't think God may want us to go do you hear more than me do you know how close I am to God no it's arrogance and pride they are also working with you on the job and they feel within themselves that this may not be a good step listen to them and just put a pause on it and pray and be very sure don't say I don't care God has spoken to me that is what caused a lot of people to get hurt because you are going unnaturally when you decided to go and leave where you live did you consult anybody did you pray about it with somebody when you decided to start going out with that gentleman that woman did you consult anybody spiritually did you pray about it who guided you the way you have caught him privately and hiding him behind the scenes go ahead there's no authority voice in it either your pastor or your care group need out somebody of spiritual nature must get to know and talk you through it

[98:01] Bible says in Proverbs chapter 11 verse 14 that in the multitude of counselors there is safety where there is no counsel people fall but in the multitude of counselors there is safety in the multitude of counselors there is safety in the multitude of counselors there is safety don't say God speaks to you so you don't need the counsel of anybody you are getting into trouble and then finally the third important relationship in the new testament is children obey your parents in the lord I know you are born again your mother is not born again your father is not born again but your father is telling you that this course you want to go and read I'm very concerned I don't want you to do it I think you should think no God you are not born again remember I said obey Ephesians 6 obey your parents in the lord in the lord is very important so it's in the lord as long as it's not against scripture it's not against scripture it didn't say people it said children that means that you are a minor you are living with your mother you are living with your father don't make unilateral decisions no you will hurt yourself you can't go against your mother's wishes because her wishes are not sinful some of you are choosing to marry people against their wishes and against the blessing of both parents and family members it will hurt you

[99:31] I know the person speaks in tongues but the person came from somewhere the person has a background and so when you choose to marry somebody be sure that when key people in your family in your life and your authorities in your life are saying that we really are very concerned we are not pray about it and seek the face of God extra postpone the engagement postpone the wedding postpone it please for goodness sake there are many days ahead postpone it put it on hold seize fire and go on your knees pray and make sure God is leading you and God should touch the people who are rising against it very important now listen to what I didn't say I didn't say that the fact that somebody speaks against it means it's wrong I'm saying that if the person is significant in your life pastor spiritual leader husband or wife husbands take a lot of steps in spite of what their wives are saying he always comes back to bite you if God is speaking to you he has a way of ministering to your wife even if your wife doesn't hear

[100:39] God can and especially wives Bible say wives be submissive to your husband how come you're a wife but your husband doesn't matter I'll do it me he doesn't take God serious I'll do what God is leading me God is leading me I'll do you will hurt yourself it's not likely it's God is someone learning something I think I rest my case we thank God for using his servant Reverend Dr.
