Description

As a Christian, calling on the name of the Lord is essential. Heaven waits for us to call on His name. Believers must learn to call on His name daily as things happen when we call on the name of the Lord.

[0:00] Thank you for choosing to listen to today's message by Reverend Dr. David Etrie. We know you will be blessed as you seek and serve God. We believe that this message will stir up a desire for more of God even as you listen.

[0:13] Be blessed. We are the sons of Abraham. In Genesis chapter 12 verse 8, the scripture said, And Abraham called on the name of God.

[0:35] He moved from there to the mountain east of Bethel, and he pitched his tent with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east. There he built an altar to the Lord.

[0:48] And what did he do? Call the Lord in the Lord. I can't hear you. What did he do? Call the Lord in the Lord. Call the Lord in chapter 8, Genesis chapter 8 verse 4.

[1:02] The Bible says that, I'm sorry, chapter 13 verse 8, verse 4, I'm sorry. Chapter 13, the next chapter, verse 4. To the place, and there Abraham called on the name of the Lord.

[1:16] Abraham was somebody who was characterized with calling on the name of the Lord. In Genesis chapter 21 verse 33, it says that, And Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beersheba, and there he called on the name of the Lord, the everlasting God.

[1:44] That was his custom. Man missed God. We lost God. In Genesis chapter 3, Bible says, And then Genesis chapter 4, first murder occurred.

[2:02] And after the murder, the murderer went and built a city and called it the city of Enoch.

[2:13] He built a city, and then because man has lost God, man has to find a way of coping. Man has to find his own way of sustaining himself for maintenance, his own way for security.

[2:31] All right? So, and his own way for enjoyment, amusement. So, when he killed his brother, he ran away, got married, and built a city.

[2:44] The first, anything built by man. He built a city, Genesis 4, 17. He built a city called the city of Enoch. And in that city, from verse 21, from verse 20 and 22, and 22, they began to rear cattle.

[2:59] What for? For sustenance. To maintain human beings. So, he developed human culture. The center of human culture is about human sustenance, human enjoyment.

[3:16] And Bible said, they started music. That was when music started. And then, not just human enjoyment, but also security. They started making weapons.

[3:28] They started making brass for weapons, for security. And so, for, to sustain themselves, to secure themselves, and to amuse themselves. Human culture.

[3:40] When he built the first city. Then, you know what happened? After he built the city, man has missed God. And so, man now had to find his own way of surviving, or maintaining his life, enjoying his life.

[3:54] But there was somebody called Enoch. And Enoch walked. But, you know, in the midst of all that, Enoch walked with God.

[4:04] And guess what happened? Verse 26 says that, verse 26 says that, and after he begat Lamech, Methuselah lived 782 years, and had sons.

[4:17] Look at the next verse. And all the days of Methuselah were 990, 969 years, and died. What does the next verse say? Live 100 and heart sense.

[4:30] Let's go. Let's go. Chapter, so it is chapter 4. I was talking about chapter 4, verse 26. So, chapter 4, verse 26. Chapter 4. Yeah.

[4:41] Chapter 4, verse 22. That's when they started making music. Chapter 4, verse 20 to 22. They started wearing cattle, making music, inventing weapons, or craftsmanship, just to protect themselves.

[4:59] And then, Enoch walked with God. And then, when he walked with God, then look at verse 26. I want you to go to verse 26. And, as was said, to him also, a son was born, and a name, Enosh.

[5:14] Watch this. Then men began to call on the name of the Lord. When did men begin to call on the name of God? Men began calling on the name of the Lord very early, when man started building his own culture.

[5:31] And after that, some realized that this thing is not working. So, they began to, my security is not good for me enough. The security I've designed is not working for me enough.

[5:41] The amusement, how many of you have attempted pleasure, and you realize that you left yourself empty? Some of us are in church because, we have tried other things, and it didn't work.

[5:56] You've tried sex, a lot of it. You've tried fun, a lot of it. You've tried partying, a lot of it. You've tried getting money, tried it, you can't tell, you are still empty.

[6:10] And Bible says, that men began to call on the name of the Lord. Men began to call on the name of the Lord from that time.

[6:21] And so, when Abraham came on the scene, Abraham called on the name of the, I'm just, I'm teaching two messages today, because we are going to pray. I want someone to have a desire, and a reason, and a case, to be able to call on the name of the Lord.

[6:38] You got to call, be able to call. You must call on the name of the Lord. So, the early church, they were characterized, and from that time, Bible says, men began calling on the name of the Lord from those days, and all the way through scripture.

[6:57] And in the New Testament, it continued. The early church, they were always calling on the name of the Lord. To the extent that Bible says in Romans, you know it already, Romans chapter 10, verse 12, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

[7:13] Verse 13 says that, verse 12 says, God is rich to all, he is rich to all who call upon him. Verse 13, for whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

[7:25] There is something about calling on the name of the Lord, which is very easy. If you don't have spiritual understanding, you will take it for granted. So, Bible says, whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

[7:39] I'm hoping someone is taking down these scriptures. Because I want to point from, from the scripture, point to you, that there is a need, and God wants us to call upon his name.

[7:49] To the extent that, as I told you some time ago, the Christians were characterized with all. How do you identify? They were identified by the way they called on the name of the Lord.

[8:00] So, if you are a pure Christian in those days, you will be, you will always be, you will have this custom of calling on the name of the Lord. And they used to come together for one reason, to just break bread and call on the name of the Lord.

[8:14] Hear the word and call on the name of the Lord. So, when Paul was writing to the Corinthian church, his opening address, 1 Corinthians chapter 1, verse 1, after introducing himself, Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus.

[8:30] Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ, through the will of God, and sustenance our brother. Look at his, he said, he's writing this to the church of God, which is at Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all who in every, oh, come on.

[8:51] Because the, the Christians, when they got there, one thing they did, was to study the scripture, after studying the scripture, after hearing the word, they called on the name.

[9:03] So he said, this message, the Bible that I'm writing, the letter I'm writing, I'm sending it to those, who call, it's interesting, Paul told Timothy, in 2 Timothy, chapter 2, verse 22, he said, flee youthful lusts.

[9:26] He said, flee also youthful lusts, but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace, with those, you can't do it alone, but you have to do it with those, who call on the name of the Lord, out of a pure heart.

[9:44] Church, is about calling on the name of the Lord, with your people, with the people, who also call on the name of the Lord, out of, so he said, instead of following youthful lusts, instead of, and just thinking, that our life is about, just enjoyment, and pleasure, he said, instead of doing that, don't do that, don't flee from that, and pursue righteousness, pursue faith, pursue love, pursue peace, with those, who call, on the name of the Lord, out of a pure heart, call, for whoever shall call, on the name of the Lord, shall be saved, this, this early church, believers, they understood, the significance, and the importance, of calling the name of the Lord, so much, that, it, when Saul, was sent to go, and arrest them, Saul was going, from house to house, looking for, how did he identify, the believers, you will hear them, calling on the name of the Lord, and so in Acts chapter 9,

[10:48] Acts chapter 9, verse 14, when God appeared to Ananias, go, and preach to Saul, Ananias said, oh my God, I think you have made a mistake, because, this guy is killing people, he's arresting people, and here, he has authority, from the chief priest, to bind, who is he binding, who is he binding, those who are called, because that's how you know, who the Christians were, they used to call, on the name of the Lord, from the days of Enoch, Bible said, from that time on forward, men began, men are supposed to call, on the name of the Lord, from that time on, men began to call, on the name of the Lord, Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen, So, when he got born again, when he got born again, and Ananias, said to the Lord, that Lord, this guy, verse 14, put it back, Ananias said to the Lord, this guy has come, to arrest, or he has received, permission, to bind all, who call on your name,

[11:49] God told him, go and pray to him, and pray for him, and Ananias went, and prayed for him, that his eyes will be opened, according to Saul's own, confession, in Acts chapter 22, verse 16, when Ananias prayed for him, Ananias said that, what are you waiting for, and now, why are you waiting, arise, and be baptized, and wash, wash away your sins, calling on the name, of the Lord, you can't do it, without calling, I believe, I'm talking to somebody, you want a testimony, you better learn how to, you want a miracle, you better learn, how to call on his name, you want to turn around, you better learn, how to call on his name, God wants us, to call on his name, I don't know, what you are going to, I don't know, what is fighting you, but I believe, you can do something, you can call, on the name, of the Lord, you can call, on the name, of the Lord, you can call, sit down, let me show you, you can't be, you can't be, a victim in life, when you can call, on the name, of the Lord, from that time onwards, men, began, to call, on the name, of the Lord, men, began, to call on him, to the extent that, when they were stoning Stephen, to die, in Acts chapter 7, verse 59, they were stoning him, to die, even in his death, he didn't cease, to call on the name, of the Lord, and Stephen, and the storm Stephen, asked, they lived, by calling, on the name, of the Lord, in their meetings, in their fellowship, in their interactions, they were calling, on the name, of the Lord, when they were, even stoning him, he was still calling, on the name, of the Lord, that is the sign, of a Christian, a Christian, is the one, who will call, on the name, of the Lord, at any time, some of you, you are using, your phones very well, to call others, when there is a crisis, when there is an issue, you use your phone, you are calling your friend, you are calling your boyfriend, you are calling your girlfriend, your mother, your brother, you are calling your boss, you are calling your partner, the one you did the agreement with, when something goes, now it's getting better, you are calling somebody, but Bible says, that a Christian, must learn, how to call, on the name, of the Lord, call,

[14:22] Akataya, call on his name, call on his name, for whoever shall call, the name of the Lord shall be saved, and watch this, they were, Christians were characterized, by calling on his name, in the Old Testament, they were calling on his name regularly, Moses called on his name, Isaiah called on his name, David called on his name, Aaron called on his name, when you read Nehemiah, chapter 3, verse 9, it talks about, calling on his name, God, says that, Nehemiah chapter 3, verse 9, he says that, and, next to them, them, Raphael, the son of, leader, Nehemiah, no, I'm sorry, Zephaniah, forgive me, Zephaniah, Nehemiah, and this is everything, Zephaniah chapter 3, verse 9, forgive me, for then, I will restore, to the people, the peoples, a pure language, that they, all may call, on the name, of the Lord, to serve him, with one accord, that is why, church makes a difference, sometimes, when we come together, it is good to call, on the name of the Lord, by yourself, but there is a time, when we come together, to call on his name, with one accord, this morning, we are going to rise up, to pray, in few moments, and we are all going, to call on his name, don't think the pastor, has your miracle, no pastor can help you, your case requires, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right,

[16:00] Beth, the situation, you are dealing with, this health issue, this family issue, this career, this situation, in your house, you better call, on the one, who can sort it out, yes, God, Jesus, God, Jesus, yes, in Isaiah, in, in, in, Joel chapter, I like this one, this is a good one, in Joel chapter 2, verse 32, it says that, for whosoever, and it shall come to pass, that whoever calls, on the name of the Lord, shall be saved, whoever calls, on the name of the Lord, shall be saved, now calling, on the name of the Lord, the easiest way, simplest way, the simplest way, to call on the name of the Lord, is like what Stephen did, when he was just about to die, because when he was about to die, he had to, he can't be, using so many ways, he called on his name, in the simplest way, he said, and they told him die, and then calling on the name, saying,

[17:05] Lord Jesus, receive my spirit, receive my spirit, into our, Lord Jesus, Lord Jesus, Jesus is Lord, that means that, my God reigns, he's in charge, and so, as in, in Joel chapter 2, again, verse 32, it says, therefore, it shall come to pass, in those days, it shall come to pass, that whoever calls, on the name of the Lord, shall be saved, watch this, do you know why, for on Mount Zion, there shall be deliverance, do you know Mount Zion, when we come together, as a church, it says, your deliverance is here, but you need to activate it, your, your miracle is here, your testimony is here, but you need to activate it, you need to provoke it, from above, you need to provoke it, you need to move, into a state, that God, will show up on your case, shall yes, in, Zachariah, chapter 13, verse 9, I'm just giving you, a few scriptures, then we can rise to pray,

[18:09] Zachariah, chapter 13, verse 9, I'll bring the, I said, I'll bring the one, I'll bring the, one third, through the fire, we'll refine them, as silver is refined, and test them, as God is tested, they will call, on my name, and what happened, now look at where, this thing is going, he said, they will call, on my name, and I will answer, God has this, proclivity, this tendency, of answering, when we call, on his name, how many of you, need some answers, from God, the only way, you can get answers, from God, is by calling, on his name, the only way, you get, the way you get answers, is not just going around, letting people pray, for you, it's good, when people pray, for you, but it is better, when you call, on his name, you, you heard the court case, call on the name of God, for the court case, call, on the name of God, regarding your health, call, on the name of God, regarding the business, call, don't stay there, say I need some help, your help, is in the name of the Lord, as long as you can, call on his name,

[19:35] I see answers coming, I see your testimony coming, I see your miracle coming, for whoever, shall call, on the name of the Lord, shall be saved, please sit down, maybe you don't believe, what I'm saying, Deuteronomy, chapter, seven, verse four, he will show up, for what you call, on his name for, watch this, he said, for they will turn, your sons away, for, for, for, for, um, Deuteronomy, chapter, four, verse seven, forgive me, the other way around, I'm very sorry about that, but that's okay, Deuteronomy 4, seven, he says that, for what great nation, is, is there, that has God, so near to it, as the Lord, our God, is to us, for whatever reason, we may call upon him, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, understand it, our God, is so close to us, and it says that, what she said, for what great nation, is there, that has God, so near to it, as our Lord, is to us, anytime we call on his name, so when you call on his name, you move him near, and that makes you great, what great nation, what great nation, is there, that has God, so near to it, as we have, when you call on his name, so when you call on God, he, he comes near,

[21:11] Psalm 96, 99 verse 6, 99 verse 6, let's go to Isaiah, Isaiah 55 verse, verse 6, Isaiah 55, is better, then we come to, verse 6, it says, seek the Lord, while he may be found, call upon him, do you know what that means, as you are in church, it's easier to call on God, than when you are at work, it beats my mind, when people can come to church, and they say, let's pray, and they are standing there watching, call on him, whilst he's near, because, you see, a time comes, when you need God desperately, but even the faith, the strength to call, is not there, don't wait, crisis have gone out of proportion, before you try, you are, you see, when you are writing exams, and you are under tension, or you are tense, very tense, you will fail, you will fail, when you are going to write there, you write there, oh, that's when you will spell, then,

[22:17] E-T-H, you are too tense, and so, you, it said, call upon him, whilst he is near, there is a time, when it is appropriate, and it's easier, it's better, it's smarter, to call on him, call him, whilst he's near, don't wait, till you enter, into the temptation, because when you are in temptation, it may be too late, to be calling, call him, whilst he's near, call him, whilst he's near, some of you, this is, you are in your best season, I'll explain what I mean, you are in your best season, because you are able, to do the fasting, you have been coming to church, some of you, this is the only time, you've come to church, consecutively, maybe for a month, or two months, this is a good time, to call on his name, about certain things, call on his name, some of you, the whole of last week, it was so bad, you are quaffing alcohol, like a fish, you, sponge, you,

[23:24] I mean, you knew, that you were not, in a best spiritual state, that's what I'm trying to say, you knew, the whole of the week, has been bad, you were messing up, in such a way, that you even feel, you have to run away, from God, you are messing up, but you know what, this is the time, whilst we are together, he is near, it's better to call on his name, now, am I communicating, to someone, Psalm 99 verse 6, Psalm 99 verse 6, Moses and Aaron, were among his priests, and Samuel was among, those who call, upon his name, they call upon the Lord, and, answered them, the secret of Moses, the secret of Moses, the secret of Aaron, the secret of Samuel, the Bible says, that they knew how to call, and when you call, he answered, and he made them shine, in their time, so they were shining, and the secret was,

[24:29] God was answering, because they were calling, I see somebody shining, I see somebody shining, who am I talking about, I see you shining, in the name of Jesus, Moses and Aaron, they called, on his name, Samuel, called, on his name, and God, answered them, that's what made Moses, Moses, that's what made Samuel, Samuel, he chose him, because he had five eyes, he chose him, because he had, he had seven legs, he chose him, because he had three arms, or eleven fingers, no, it's because he called, on them, that is why we are talking, about Moses, Aaron, Samuel, all those guys, their uniqueness, and their upper hand, their core competence, was they called, on the name of the Lord, I see someone, calling on the name of the Lord, I know this year, will be very good, for many people here, I know it, I know it,

[25:30] I don't need anybody, anybody's permission, I don't need census, I know by the spirit, that this year, it will be very good, for many people here, this year will be favorable, for many years, and it's going to be so, because God will answer, he will answer, because we are going to call, on his name, shall know Jesus, please be seated, Psalm 145, verse 18, Psalm 145, verse 18, oh my God, Psalm 145, verse 18, this is a very serious one, did you see that, in your Bible, this is the serious one, I've been waiting, to get you to, he says that, the Lord is near, to certain people, he is very, you think God is very far, it's because you haven't called on him, try it, and see, if he will show up, the Lord, is near, to some, no, to all, who call upon him, for, there is no difference, between the Greek, and the Jew, for the same Lord, is rich, unto all, the Lord, who call on his, on his name,

[27:02] God is near to you, God is near to you, God is near to you, God is near to you, God is near to you, God is near to you, God is near to you, I see somebody, I see somebody, calling on the name of the Lord, I see somebody, calling on the name of the Lord, in life, in death, in sickness, In whatever situation you see yourself.

[27:25] I see somebody calling on the name of the Lord. I see somebody calling on the name of the Lord. I see somebody calling on the name of the Lord. I see somebody calling on the name of the Lord. For whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

[27:43] Please be seated. In Psalm 116 verse 13 and verse 17 they call on His name. Psalm 116, verse 13.

[27:55] I will take up the, verse 12 says, that what shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits towards me? He said, God has helped me, and I've come this far.

[28:06] What shall I even do? He said, what will I do? Verse 13. I will take up the cup of my salvation and call upon the name of the Lord. I will call.

[28:16] Verse 17. He said, I will offer to you the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and I will call. So when God does one, continue calling. Yes, Lord Jesus!

[28:28] There shouldn't be a time in your life when there was a gap of calling on the name of the Lord. There was a missing time. You didn't call on it.

[28:39] That is what accounts for the crisis in your family. Trace it, you find out that somebody was not calling on the name of the Lord. You can't see God.

[28:49] You can't have God. You can't experience God. You can't enjoy God if no one calls on his name. Your family is in this state because somebody hasn't taken upon themselves to cry out and call on the name of the Lord.

[29:06] I see you calling on the name of the Lord. Let me give you one more scripture, and then we'll rise up to pray. When you study the Bible, it's all over.

[29:17] Calling on the name of the Lord, but because we don't open our eyes, and we don't have teachers to help us to see. All over. Men from that time, men began to call on the name of the Lord, and he didn't stop.

[29:32] I prefer, like Stephen's testimony, that even when he was dying, he was calling on the name of the Lord. Why have you stopped calling on his name?

[29:44] As soon as you got that little breakthrough, you have stopped. Look at the way you used to pray aggressively for your husband. As soon as you got married, you have put it on hold.

[29:56] I don't understand when people just only come to God when they are in need. God is not an A&E God. He's an everyday God.

[30:09] He's an everyday God. Don't wait for crisis. Don't wait for crisis. Because he said, God has done so much for me, what should I do? I will take off the cap of my salvation and actually continue calling on his name.

[30:22] In Lamentations chapter 3 verse 55, Hey!

[30:33] This one looks like somebody. You are in your lowest speed. Call. Call. You are so low. Call.

[30:44] Don't wait for music. Your family life, you are in recession. Call. You have received medical report that is really damaging, really disturbing.

[31:00] Call. When you are low. Call. You are in their beat. Call. Sometimes, how many of you have called somebody and you didn't get through to the person?

[31:13] Yeah. When, maybe at some critical times, you needed this person to give you an information. You needed this person and their phone didn't go through. And some of them will tell you, I had no battery.

[31:24] Oh! My battery was dead. Oh! Oh! Or where I was. I was underground. You know, when you are supposed to be trying to meet somebody somewhere and the rendezvous has changed.

[31:38] You didn't really get the connection or the communication. And so you are trying to call the person to tell the person, actually, don't use this, maybe, northern line. Use the district line because there's a block somewhere there and the car can only pick.

[31:52] But when you call the person, unfortunately, he had already entered underground. He's going to Stockwell and entered the underground. Oh! Oh! And now you don't know what to do.

[32:07] Recently, something beautiful happened and I thank God. When my sister was in town, she, that night before she left, she had to sort out a few things. So she was at my brother's house in Stockwell and she said she was going to live there and she had bought so many things and she went to do some shopping.

[32:26] She was taking them to Ghana for her business and a lot of things. But something happened. Pastor Huynh and I, I think we went to town and I had to go somewhere, go to, I think, Corby Dorman's house or so to go and pick something.

[32:39] I think I left my wallet, something. So I needed to go there. So I dropped Pastor Huynh and on my way to Corby Dorman's house, I remembered my sister should be in Stockwell and who will be coming to my house?

[32:50] Far. So I said, let me call her. So I go to Corby's house. I called her. I didn't get through. No, I called Corby Damesh. I didn't get there. I called my sister. I didn't get there. I know Corby's house. Just before I got there, I said, let me call my sister again.

[33:02] No, let me call Pastor Phoebe, Rose. As soon as I called Rose, the phone, I said, where are you guys? She said, my sister's phone was there. And he said, we are under, actually practically underground.

[33:14] The train station stopped. We were waiting for the train. But she was, my sister was worried how she was going to travel to her, to the house because the luggage was so much and Rose was just taking her to the station.

[33:25] And then from there, she was, she was thinking, I called. I said, come out quickly because I'm just in front of the underground and I'm on my way home. Pastor Phoebe said, Pastor, I can't, I don't understand how the phone rang under.

[33:43] We were just right on the, am I right? On the platform. Where is, where are you on the platform? On the platform, waiting for the train. And the phone rang. She said, I don't know how my phone rang there because my phone doesn't ring some places.

[33:57] And I said, come out. I am just in there. I'll be in front of the station in one minute. Come out. And they came up, packed everything in the car. I said, sit down. I kept wondering, how did it happen?

[34:09] At that time, I called. If I had waited for two minutes, the person would have entered and even if she gets reception, she just entered the train. they can't come back. I'm saying that, I, first of all, I called my sister but I didn't get through.

[34:27] Thank God she was with someone who had reception. And I'm telling you, God always has. God always has reception.

[34:39] I don't know why you are not bothering to call upon his name. I don't know why you are not making an attempt to call upon his name. I don't know why you are not happy. Some of you are not happy that God has 24-hour reception for you to call on his name.

[34:54] Shout yes! For whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved! Sit down.

[35:08] We are about to pray. We are about to pray. When we start to pray, please call on the name of the Lord. Call. Call on the name of your God.

[35:21] Don't come and be telling people about your problems. Mmm, mmm, mmm. Tell what? Just call on the name of the Lord. I don't want to hear. Yes! What's going on there?

[35:31] Too many people know what you are going through. Mmm. Hey! And you are soliciting for sympathy. Mmm. That's all. Help it. What can they do? What can they do?

[35:44] Listen, those of you have not been coming for the prayer, we are praying. We are praying. We are praying. I don't believe in prayer. No, no, no, no. That's okay. If you don't, that's okay.

[35:55] But I'm telling you, some of us are making use of it. We are praying. When you come, yesterday, mom, yesterday, the place was packed. The place was packed. Just for some of you to know, the place was so packed yesterday, we didn't take offering.

[36:10] Monday was overpacked. We didn't say bring offering. So nobody's looking for anything from you. We are trying to create an atmosphere that can secure this year for you.

[36:22] That can secure the days ahead for you. Saudis! Saudis! In the West, in Europe, in United Kingdom, and in London, it is hard to find a place where you can really go and just...

[36:39] Hey! Hey! Hey! Some of them are in their best. So you are sometimes restricted. Some of you, your corsets are too tight. So you can't even be flexible.

[36:52] You are not flexible. But sometimes, you need an atmosphere where you can be free and burst out. Burst forth and talk to the Father.

[37:06] Hallelujah. He said, when I am in the pit Lamentations 3, he said, I call on the name, I call on your name, O Lord, from the lowest pit.

[37:20] Some of you, it looks like financially, now you have hit rock bottom. It looks like in your relationship, you have hit rock bottom.

[37:31] There is a husband and wife, a couple here, as I'm speaking, who this morning, it's like you have hit rock bottom in the relationship. Now, divorce has become a major factor for consideration.

[37:44] And you know, you don't want divorce. But it looks like that's the only way forward. The devil is a liar. There's another way forward. It is calling, calling on the name of the Lord.

[37:58] Fear not. Fear not. For God is with you. Fear not. For God is a prayer answering God. Fear not. Ah, the angel told Mary, with God, nothing shall be impossible.

[38:12] For God, nothing shall be impossible. Why are you not praying? Why are you not praying?

[38:26] What are we waiting for? For with God, nothing shall be impossible. He said, I called on the name of the Lord from the lowest pit. Look at verse 57, and then we begin to pray.

[38:38] You drew near on the... You see, God has been found. Yeah. Because he's waiting for the day you call on him.

[38:52] Lord Jesus! You call on him, you say, I'm right there, I'm coming. I'm right there, I'm coming. Yes, sir. God is not Superman. Superman goes when he's not been called.

[39:07] He's just looking for where there's problem, then he goes to where he's kept. Go and deliver. No. God, he's not... That's why many people keep saying, if there is God, why are people suffering?

[39:19] God is not Superman. He's not waiting for people who are suffering for him to help them. He's waiting for someone to call. So God is always like this. Who is going to call? Who is going to call? From that time forward, men began to call on the name of the Lord.

[39:34] Let's read it together. This is a powerful scripture. Let's read it together. Let's go. He drew near on the day I hold on you and said, do not fear. Thank you, God.

[39:45] What is your fear? What is your worry? God said, do not fear. You can only say, I won't fear. When after you have called on his name and he's near to you, call on his name.

[39:57] Lord Jesus. In Acts chapter 2 verse 21, for whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Lord Jesus.

[40:08] And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Lord Jesus. you'll be saved You'll be saved from that situation. You'll be saved from that shame.

[40:19] You'll be saved from that crisis. You'll be saved from that fear. You'll be saved from that fear. You'll be saved from that issue. You'll be saved because you are calling on your name. You are calling on his name.

[40:30] You are calling on his name. Is there somebody here who wants to call on the name of the Lord? Is there somebody here who has a situation that requires calling on the name of the Lord?

[40:42] The doctors have said what they can say. But now it's your turn to see what God can do. The bank has said what they can say. It's your turn to see what God can do.

[40:53] By calling his name, so you will be saved. By calling his name, so you will be delivered. By calling his name, so you will be rescued. Somebody needs to learn how to call on the name of the Lord.

[41:14] I know you have a comprehensive cover for your wonderful car with AA.

[41:26] Wherever in Europe, they will be there. On condition of you calling them. If you don't call your recovery company, you will stay there.

[41:46] And you can't sue them. Because you had to call them. You can't make insurance claims without calling. You have to let them know.

[41:59] God can't show up if you don't call on his name. For Jesus! He can't show up. You are hoping that God will be merciful.

[42:11] Or you are hoping that God will be touched by your problems. Maybe one day. Please, forget about that. And better start touching him with your call. Disturb him.

[42:23] The Bible says, those who call on the name of the Lord, do not give him rest. Call in the morning. Call in the afternoon. Call in the evening. Call at all times. Keep calling his name.

[42:34] Keep calling his name. So now you don't have... Listen. You don't have an excuse not to do it. Because you can't tell me you don't know how to pray. You can't tell me you don't know how to pray.

[42:44] At least you know how to call on his name. Go, Lord Jesus. I need your help regarding this situation. Lord Jesus. He has made it so simple.

[42:55] That it doesn't require anything complex. I'm not teaching about calling on the name of the Lord. Because I would have taken you to Jeremiah. But I'm not teaching.

[43:07] I'm just letting somebody know that heaven is waiting for your call. Heaven's deliverance. Heaven's intervention. It's just a call away.

[43:20] You have to write this. Put it somewhere. On your mirror. Or your fridge. Or your TV. God is just a call away from me. Call in. When you are going anywhere.

[43:32] You are taking your children to school. Or you are going to face a panel. Remember, God is just a call away. It doesn't matter the outcome. You can always call on God. I remember.

[43:43] You see, some cars. When you buy many of the new cars. They will tell you. I don't know how many cars. But I think at least I know about. Maybe BM and Mercedes and some of those.

[43:55] If the car breaks down anywhere. There's a special number you call. They will just come wherever you are. Because it's a new car. They will come. They will come. And replace. Give you a car.

[44:07] Where you are. They will make sure you are fine and comfortable. That's even. Even you. In America. I think by now it should be in the UK. There's a button you press.

[44:18] Yeah. In the car. And they will come. In media response. I need. I need help now. They will come. It's part of your package. Exactly. When you became born again. God gave you a package.

[44:29] That just call at any time. Just press the button. Call at any time. And I'm coming. Angels are coming. Myself. I'll be there on the spot. Shout hallelujah.

[44:40] Hallelujah. Isaiah 53 verse 6. Or 56 verse 3. One of them. It says that. Oh Lord my God. No. 56 verse 3.

[44:51] It comes 50. Yeah. It says. Whenever I am. Afraid. Out. It's some. I'm sorry. It's some 56 verse 3. I'm sorry. 56. It said. Whenever I am.

[45:02] Psalm 56 verse 3. Whenever I'm afraid. Trust. Wow. You know sometimes. You are so beset.

[45:13] With fear. Of the unknown. Of what's about to happen. Whilst fear is coming. Relax. And trust God. God. I'm just going in your name.

[45:24] I'm going. You know when. When the guy. Sometime ago. When he tied your. Head. Blinded you. Put a cloth around your face. Said. Just follow me. He wants to give you a surprise. So I said.

[45:35] Oh what is it? Said. Just follow me. Come. Come. I said. What is it? Come. Come. Come. You trusted him. Because you know the guy is a good guy. And recently he's got a very big contract. So you know your birthday is going to be good.

[45:46] And he came. He said. I have a surprise for you. He tied your. He tied your eyes. Or covered your eyes. He said. Come. And you're going. You couldn't see. But you could trust him. You know he will not lead you into a lion's den.

[46:00] Your sister told you sometime ago. Close your eyes. Open your mouth. Didn't your sister say to you sometime ago?

[46:13] He said. Or who? Your husband. He said. Open your eyes. He said. Close your eyes.

[46:24] Trust me. I'll do something for you. Just close your eyes. See what I'm going to give you. Close your eyes. Come on. Come on. Come on. Come on. And you trusted him. And you open your mouth very wide.

[46:36] You open your mouth very wide. And you ask. Okay. Just put it inside. And lo and behold. It was a very nice chocolate. It's your best chocolate ever.

[46:51] Because you trusted him enough.

[47:11] Psalm 56 verse 3 said. Whenever I am afraid. I will trust him. Psalm 81 verse 10. He said.

[47:21] You open your mouth. Trust me. Open your mouth. Open your mouth wide. And I will feel it. Now. Remember. Someone asked you to open your mouth. You closed your eyes.

[47:32] And you did it. You trusted him. Trust God. Open your mouth. Now. When he said open your mouth. He's talking about talking. Talk to me. Yeah. Yeah. Talk to me. Yeah. I will feel it. Yeah.

[47:43] Yes. When we start to pray. We are about to start to pray. I don't think I will preach. I was coming to teach on hindrances to prayers. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Seven hindrances to prayers.

[47:55] But I will do that tomorrow. God has spoken. When I was praying downstairs before I came up. God told me tomorrow. We are repeating. I should declare marriages and family breakthroughs again tomorrow.

[48:07] Tomorrow. We are going to do that again. Because we will hit the place to embrace. And water must gash out for you.

[48:20] Until we hit the water table. We will not stop digging. We will not stop digging. I was teaching you last week. About the things that make your prayers prayer.

[48:32] That makes your prayer get answers. The key things in your prayer. It must be simplicity. Humility. Tenacity. There must be tenacity.

[48:43] Don't pray once and stop. There must be tenacity. You are praying. You are continuing praying. Continue praying. Continue praying. There must be consistency. Yeah. So tomorrow we are coming to hit again.

[48:55] If God permits me. I will teach a little bit on the hindrances to prayer. I was coming to bless somebody so much. Because some of you have been praying. Some of you have been praying. And you think God doesn't answer prayers.

[49:06] Meanwhile, Jesus said in Matthew chapter 21 verse 22. That whenever you pray. Believing. You believe you. You said. Whatsoever thing you ask in prayer. Believing.

[49:16] You will receive. So why are we not receiving then? I was coming to show you the reason why people are not receiving. So that you will move yourself away from those who will receive.

[49:27] Because God actually delights. In letting you have answers to your prayers. He delights. I think. Let me see.

[49:37] In Proverbs. Somewhere. In Proverbs. He talks about. I will show you in a minute. Proverbs chapter 15 verse 8. Bible says that. God takes delight in the prayers of his.

[49:48] The upright. Did you see that? But. But the prayer. You see. The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination. You are going to mess up. And say. God. I will give you devil's offering. He said. It's an abomination to me.

[49:59] The sacrifice of the wicked. But he said. But the prayer of the upright is his delight. He likes your prayer. So your prayers must see answers.

[50:11] Must see answers. The prayers on offer. It can be a prayer to receive answer. So.

[50:22] To receive answers to prayer. You start by praying. So today. We are about to pray. I want someone to. Entreat God.

[50:33] Bible says that. And Isaac. Entreated God. On the behalf of his wife. And his wife conceived. He entreated God. Said God. What is wrong?

[50:44] My wife can't conceive. Lord. Please. Do something about this. And Bible said. The woman conceived. Because the man entreated God. And Isaac. Entreated God. Entreated the Lord.

[50:55] For his wife. Because she was barren. And the Lord was. Entreated of him. The Lord will be entreated of you today. And the Lord. And Rebecca.

[51:06] His wife conceived. So the conception. Of Rebecca. Rebecca's children. Rebecca's conception. Was a function of someone. Entreating God. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

[51:16] Yeah. Yeah. Today. We have got to give God an entreatment. Yeah. We are going to entreat God. I'm not saying entreatment. You are entreating. Asking God. Please. Please. With prayer and supplication.

[51:27] Anything you haven't prayed about. Don't blame God for not seeing the answers. Some of us are always waiting for others to pray for you. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

[51:38] Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I know where it pinches. I can pray for you. But I can't express the pain of your situation to God like you can't do it.

[51:51] We want to pray. When we start to pray. We are going to pray for the next 10 minutes. Don't say, ask for me, I'm tired. Mom, you can sit down. Don't say, ask for me, I'm tired.

[52:03] Ask for me, I'm tired. Oh, this prayer is too long. Your case. Sometimes surgery can take about eight hours. Yes. Yeah, 13, 12 hours, surgery, so that you can be free.

[52:15] Surgery. I'm telling you, some court cases take many hours. Eight, eight, eight, eight, eight days. Yes, yeah.

[52:26] So if you combine all those years, the hours evolve a lot. And so, can you imagine you're flying from here to Singapore? It's a long journey. It takes a long time.

[52:37] Just to get to Singapore, look at how long it takes, even in the air. And so, some of us, the cases, don't be praying like someone who is going to Birmingham on the plane.

[52:49] Your own is Singapore. Don't compare, it's different. Australia. You're going to Australia. It's a long journey.

[53:01] A long journey. You're going to Shenzhen in China. My friend, it's a long journey. Don't compare yourself to someone who is going to just Brussels.

[53:14] You need to pray an Australia prayer. Melbourne prayers today. Shout hallelujah. All right, enough of that. We are going to lift up our hands and please don't even.

[53:25] Bible says, they call on the Lord out of a pure house in truth. What you are doing, make it be sincere. Talk to God. Don't forget about those who know how to pray. Sometimes the prayer meeting, the most boring people are those who know how to pray.

[53:40] A lot of times it's the people who know how to pray who actually can be a menace. They depend on what they know. But the one who doesn't know how to pray is watching other people.

[53:53] They are sweating. And he said, Lord, from my heart, kneeling down. Stop watching others and talk to God. God, I know I don't deserve it. Looking at what I have said already. Looking at what I have done.

[54:03] But Lord, if there is any space for mercy you have for me. Lord, remember me. Your servant said, if you call on your name, you will answer. Lord, I'm calling on your name. I'm calling on your name for this case, for this marriage.

[54:17] I know I'm coming back here to give you a testimony. Is somebody ready to pray? Lift up your two and say, Lord Jesus. Lord Jesus. Lord Jesus. Thank you for the privilege to pray.

[54:30] I call on your name. For you have said, whoever shall call on your name shall be saved. You have said that you are near to all those who call upon your name.

[54:45] Therefore, Lord, I call on your name. For my marriage. For my health. For my family. For my life. I call on your name.

[54:56] I believe you for a turnaround. Change my situation. Intervene in my situation. Do a miracle, Lord. Do a miracle, Lord.

[55:06] Do a miracle, Lord. In my life. I believe. I believe you are faithful. I believe you are able to help me.

[55:17] Lord, I put my trust in you. Help me, Lord. My help is in your name. I cry out.

[55:27] Help me, Lord. In the name of Jesus. Yes. Bible says that for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers.

[55:40] Unfortunately, some of us are not aware that the situation you are dealing with, there is an evil force behind it. Yes. Bible says that for the weapons of our warfare are not counter.

[55:52] Second Corinthians chapter 10 verse 4. For the weapons of our warfare are not counter, but they are mighty through God to the pulling down of all strongholds. We are about to pray and deal with satanic strongholds.

[56:05] Some of you, the situation that is going on in your family is the finger of the devil. Yes. We are going to pray and say, Satan, take off your dirty hands.

[56:17] Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.

[56:28] Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.

[56:57] Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Somebody shout the blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus! I am a spiritual man.

[57:08] So I will not take for granted and assume that what you are going through is just one of the things. And you just pray, God help me. Sometimes it's not even God help me.

[57:18] You have to say, Satan, back off! One of the areas Satan likes attacking first in people's life is their health. That's the first point of call.

[57:30] He likes to attack health. So Jesus said, ought not this woman, Luke chapter 13, who is a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound for all this year.

[57:41] The woman was bound. She couldn't lift herself up. And Jesus set her free. Jesus said, this one, it is Satan who has bound her. You see, she was not ill. She was sick. Medicine could not set him free.

[57:54] Set her free. Why? Because Satan. And ought not this woman, being the daughter of whom Satan has bound, lose. This 18 years. No, this 18.

[58:05] Satan has bound this woman 18 years. Sometimes, I don't know what's going on in your family. Almost everyone who goes to marriage, it doesn't succeed. A beautiful young lady came to me the other time and said, Pastor, nobody marries in my family.

[58:20] Nobody is married. Nobody marries. And I'm worried. I said, don't be afraid. This fasting will change that story. We are going to pray and give Satan an ultimate to pack off.

[58:34] How are we going to do it? By the blood of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. We are going to call on the name of Jesus and we are going to apply the blood. Shout the blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus.

[58:45] In Revelation chapter 12 verse 11, they say that they overcame by the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony. And they overcame him. They overcame the dragon.

[58:56] Verse 9 talks about the old serpent, the dragon, red dragon. So a great dragon was, so the great dragon was cast out. The serpent of old called the devil and Satan who deceived the whole world.

[59:10] He was cast to the earth and his angels were cast out with him. So they overcame him. And verse 10 says that, verse 10 says that, then I heard the Lord voice saying, now salvation and strength and the kingdom of God and the power of his Christ have come.

[59:24] For the accuser of the brethren, who accused them before God day and night has been cast down. Verse 11, and they overcame him, the devil, they overcame the serpent, that dragon in your family, that serpent in your family, that serpent in your situation, trying to mess this up.

[59:45] We overcome him in the blood of the lamb, in the name of Jesus. Lift up your hands, say in the name of Jesus.

[59:57] In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. Every finger of the devil. Every finger of the devil. Over my life. Over my marriage. Over my family.

[60:07] Over my finances. In the name of Jesus. By the blood of the lamb. By the blood of the lamb. I command, let the hand be withered.

[60:19] Let it dry up. Dry up. Dry up. Dry up. Now. Now. Now. Oh Lord.

[60:29] Oh Lord. I declare by the blood of Jesus that any demand, any stronghold, any force of darkness operating in my life, in my family, in my finances, in my marriage, in my relationships, in my career, by the blood I command.

[60:54] It is bound. I clear it out of my path. I say, Satan, the blood is against you.

[61:05] Satan, the blood of Jesus is against you. Satan, the blood of Jesus is against you. Let your finger be withered.

[61:18] Let your hand operate in my life. Dry up. Now. Now. Yeah.

[61:31] Yeah. Something has switched. Something has changed. Shout hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. I didn't know I wasn't going to preach. You have preached. Hey.

[61:41] Come and listen to me. Thank you. Something. Because I came prepared with my message. But this one was just to get somebody to just pray.

[61:53] I didn't know that's what God was actually going to do. Tomorrow is their day. What? Tomorrow evening. Thank you, Lord. Tomorrow evening, we are going to be having, we are going to continue in prayer for marriages and families.

[62:10] Yes. Yes. Some of you, the situation in your family is denying you of sleep. Satan has not really attacked you until he attacks your health or your family.

[62:22] Yeah. Yeah. Family attack is real attack. It's true. Some of you need to come tomorrow and release that family member of you from prison. Don't leave that guy in prison.

[62:33] I'm not talking about your boyfriend. Your boyfriend, baby, it's okay for him. I think you are safer.

[62:44] That's why you are in church. Because if he comes, you will be in church again. Satan will slap you. But I'm talking about your brother. Yeah. I'm talking about your cousin.

[62:55] Yeah. There are families here who have more than one person in prison. Yes. One person in prison. Yeah. Maybe they are guilty. But there is a finger of the devil behind it.

[63:08] Don't be drinking, sipping tea and watching TV programs when there is a crisis at hand. Some of you have to overturn the health condition of that child.

[63:22] You know, I realize that when there is A&E situation, it doesn't matter job. You have to go. You will go. When a child has been rushed to the hospital, you don't have a choice.

[63:34] You will go. I'm not saying, your child will not be rushed to the hospital. You will not bury a child ever again. And this year, nobody in your family is permitted to die prematurely.

[63:52] Amen. Amen. And I speak over your life. Even if you are 100 years old, we forbid you from dying this year.

[64:03] Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. You will not die, but you shall live to declare the works of the Lord. Shout a living amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen.

[64:15] Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen.

[64:26] Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen.

[64:40] no more until he come. Whose right it is. And I, God, I will give it to him. I see God giving you a miracle. Well, we have to close now. Our time is up.
