The Church of Thyatira - The Overcoming Believer

[0:00] Thank you for choosing to listen to today's message by Reverend Dr. David Etrie. We know you will be blessed as you seek and serve God. We believe that this message will stir up a desire for more of God even as you listen.

[0:13] Be blessed. Revelations chapter 2, verse 18. And unto the angel of the church in Titeria write, These things say the Son of God, who has his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass.

[0:37] Verse 19. I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works, and the last to be more than the first.

[0:49] Notwithstanding, I have a few things against thee, because thou hast suffered the woman Jezebel, who calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat this sacrifice to idols.

[1:06] And I gave her space to repent of her fornication, and she repented not. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.

[1:26] And I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am he which searches the reins and the heart. And I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

[1:40] But unto you, I say, unto the rest of Titeria, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the deaths of Satan, as they speak, I will put upon you none other burden.

[2:02] But that which you have already, already hold fast till I come. And he that overcomes and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations.

[2:19] And he shall rule them with a rod of iron, as the vessels of a porter shall day be broken into shivers, even as I receive of my Father.

[2:38] And I will give him the morning star. He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. Amen. So last week I spoke more about how the woman Jezebel, he said we shouldn't tolerate the woman Jezebel.

[2:58] The problem of that church came because of tolerance. Because they tolerated Jezebel and permitted her to teach.

[3:11] And she was teaching things that were contrary to what God or what Christ expected of the church. And then he says that, I will punish, or he says, I will cast her into the bed of, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their death.

[3:38] So it's that bed of affliction is coming, tribulation is coming, except you repent. So actually, with all that they have done, he still was giving them a window of opportunity.

[3:51] He said, I am bringing judgment, except they repent. So just at the time of executing judgment, if they repent, God will withhold judgment.

[4:03] That's how merciful God is. But he says, I told them, in fact, the previous verse said, the previous verse is very interesting. It says that I gave, verse 21, I gave her space to repent of her fornication, and she repented not.

[4:19] She refused to repent. And so, there and then, if I were God, or if you were God, thank God I am not, and you are not, you would have said, okay, I'm giving you opportunities, let me deal with you.

[4:30] But God said, okay, because she didn't repent, I'm bringing judgment upon, I'm going to put her in the bed of affliction, and those who commit fornication with her, I'm going to bring great tribulation upon them, except they repent.

[4:41] So, even though, she refused to repent, he says, I'm bringing judgment, except they repent. So, the repentance is the open door. It was still pending.

[4:52] If you can repent, I will withhold judgment. If you can repent, God said that he will withhold judgment. And then he said that, and I will kill her children with death, and all death, and all the churches shall know that I am he that searches the reins and the heart, and I give to everyone according to your work.

[5:14] It's very interesting that God said, I'm going to treat you based on your works. I'm going to give to you according to your works, and every, all in the church will know that.

[5:25] And, and, verse 24 talks about, unto you, I say, unto the rest in Tichia. So, this, this letter was written to the church in Tichia, and it says that there are some in the church in Tichia, who have not exposed themselves to this nonsense.

[5:41] This letter was written to the church in Tichia, which has become an apostate church. Apostate means turn their back against God.

[5:51] But I said, even that there are some people still in this church, there are certain people in the church, who have not gone the way everybody's going.

[6:03] And there will be a few. And so, he said, unto those of you in the, in the church in Tichia, but unto you, I say, unto the rest in Tichia, as many as have not this doctrine.

[6:16] See, the problem was the teaching, which they have bought into, they have accepted. He said, as many of you that have not accepted, you haven't taken on this doctrine, and he went on saying, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of, those guys have tasted some deep things of Satan.

[6:35] Through Jezebel's teaching. It has exposed them, they've gone deep into some stuff. Satan has got depths. Even as God has got depths. He said, you haven't known the deep, and it's all this has to do with doctrine.

[6:49] You haven't known the deep things. You have not known, known, known, experienced, and understood. You have, your teaching exposes you to some things. Some bad teachings. I was teaching, and the other time I said that, the teaching you are exposed to will determine how your spiritual life turns out to be.

[7:06] Unless, of course, you are a very stubborn hearted person. But most of the time, if God wants to help you, he will send you a teacher. Because everything is already given.

[7:20] Your eyes must be open to teaching to know what to do. So, you have not known the depths of Satan. I will put, I will put upon you none of, none other burden.

[7:35] Because the burden of people backsliding and following wrong teachings is even too much for you when you are in a church or when you are a Christian and you see the way Christians have backslided, other Christians are messing up.

[7:48] It can frustrate and harass your spirit. It's very burdensome. Some of you know some Christians who, Christian life really bother you and challenge you. It just bothers you.

[8:00] It doesn't challenge you for the better, but it actually infuriates you. I mean, how can you be a Christian and you are behaving like this? How can you be doing this? And they don't seem to mind.

[8:11] And you can't do anything. You can't force someone to be a serious Christian. So he said, it's a burden enough. I won't bring any other burden because you have not known the deep things of Satan.

[8:22] And, okay, but, that which ye have already, that which ye have already, hold fast, fast, fast, say fast.

[8:36] Fast. You have to hold tight till I come. That which ye already have, hold fast till I come.

[8:47] Somebody say, hold fast. Hold fast. But what, I'll leave the hold fast and then talk about till I come. Till I come because he's coming.

[8:58] You know, please, if you're a Christian and you lose sight of the second coming of Christ, you misbehave. You will misbehave. You will compromise on your faith.

[9:14] The reason why you possibly are struggling with some things, one of the reasons is because you are not looking forward to his coming. You think, oh, maybe it's just a theological statement or something.

[9:24] So you are not looking forward to his coming. But if you are looking forward to his coming, according to 1 John 3, verse 2 and verse 3, 1 John 3, verse 2 and verse 3, says that, beloved, now we are the sons of God and it does not yet appear what we shall be.

[9:49] But we know that when he shall appear, we shall be like him for we shall see him as he is. Did you see that? He said, we don't know how he's going to be like.

[10:01] Now we are the sons of God. We don't know how he's going to be like when he shows up. But one thing we know, that when he appears, we shall be like him. When we see him, we shall be like him. So we are looking forward to his appearing.

[10:13] Look at the next verse, verse 3. Let's all read it together. Verse 3. Verse 3, let's go together. And every man that has his soul in him to purify himself.

[10:24] Let's read it out loud again. And every man that has his hope in him to purify himself even as he is. One more time. And every man that has this hope in him purifies himself even as he is pure.

[10:39] So, if you have this hope, the hope of his coming, said, when we see him, we shall be like him, you purify yourself. If you know your dad is returning or your mom is returning early from the trip, in fact, you won't do that party you're trying to make with your friends.

[10:59] No, you won't do it. It's the wrong timing. You, you, you, you sort out the house. You clean it because you know, no, she's been away for three months. She's coming the day after tomorrow.

[11:10] So I just can't, you can't invite your friend to come and sleep over. You can't. Why? Because you are expecting the coming. Because you are expecting the coming, it is making you clean your house.

[11:24] But he said, he said, I'm coming quickly. Jesus said, I'm coming quickly. In Revelation, in 1 Corinthians chapter 11, verse 26, Paul talks about how even when we are taking communion, you have to be careful how you take, for when we take communion, we show forth his death until he comes.

[11:43] So, the early church always expected his coming. So we take communion, as we take communion, we say he died for us, but he's coming. Until he's coming. Until he's coming.

[11:55] Communion always also points to the second coming of Christ. He's coming. In Revelation chapter 3, verse 3, he said, I'll actually come like a thief.

[12:07] I'll come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I'll come upon thee. Revelation chapter 3, verse 11, he said, hold fast what you have till I come.

[12:18] He says that, behold, I come quickly. Hold fast that which... So he's coming. Revelation chapter 22, verse 7, he said, I come quickly. It's very interesting.

[12:30] He said, I come quickly. Revelation chapter 22, verse 20, he said, I come quickly. In fact, this is the last few verses to the end of the Bible. See how it ends.

[12:41] He said, he which testified these things said, surely I come quickly. Jesus said, I come quickly. I come quickly.

[12:52] Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come Lord Jesus. I come quickly. I think that's the end of the Revelation. In the next verses, yeah, that's the end of the Revelation.

[13:04] Okay. Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. That's it. I come quickly. Jesus said, I'm coming. Revelation chapter 22, verse 12.

[13:15] He said, and my reward is with me. When he's coming, it's like someone who has just returned from a shopping, he's going for shopping, you know, sales, some of you sales. You use your tithe for sales.

[13:28] The devil is alive. Use your offerings for sale and your tithe for sale and then you are coming. Sales, you know, nowadays I think there's early sales. Some of the places have started already, isn't it?

[13:40] What? Black Friday, but you keep Black Friday really doesn't work. It almost looks like it's green, but, but I think early, early Christmas sale has started in some places.

[13:52] Yeah. Some of you are quiet. You've gone to do your shopping already and you are coming home. Jesus said, I'm coming with like a shopping basket with gifts for everybody.

[14:02] Not everybody, sorry, for, for, for he who holds today. And their works is coming with a reward. And so here, even though they were in the church of Titeria, he said, till I come, hold fast what you already have.

[14:18] Hold it. Come, I'm coming. Jesus is coming. Till I come, hold fast. And see, see what he told them. I like it. He says that, um, verse 25 again of Revelation chapter 2, but that which thou hast already, that has, thou, that, but that which you have already hold fast like him.

[14:42] Verse 26, and he that overcomes and keeps my works. You see that? He that overcomes. Overcoming what?

[14:52] Overcoming this Jezebelic teaching. Don't let it take, take you over. In other words, you have to fight it. Overcoming comes by fighting.

[15:05] You have to fight against something. You have to go against something to overcome it. So the thing that didn't overcome, it was trying to overcome you, but you overcame it. All right? So he said, he who overcomes, all right, put it on the screen, he who overcomes and keeps my works.

[15:20] Remember, Jesus said that John chapter 14, verse 12, he said, greater works shall lead you. John chapter 9, verse 4, said, I have to work the works of him who sent me.

[15:31] So Jesus had works. So, and I think John chapter 5, verse 39, somewhere there, 36, somewhere there, 36. It talks about how if you don't believe me, let my works talk to you.

[15:50] He said, but I have greater witness than this for the works which my father has given me to finish. The very works. So Jesus says that don't forget my works. In other words, it's not just your works, the things that Jesus came to do, his labors, his teachings, his life, the works and the things that he has.

[16:10] Sometimes we easily forget the things that God has done for us. you have done so much for me, I cannot tell you, but you are forgetting it. Some of us, we sing this song but we don't mean it.

[16:26] We don't mean it. Some of us, we should be singing, you have done so much for me, I will not turn it all, I will not, you won't tell it.

[16:36] So, it says that verse 26 of Revelation chapter 2, he who overcomes and keeps my works until the end, not halfway, to him I will give power, ah, this is getting serious.

[17:00] Is this thing just some ideology or will it be real? Power over what? Power over what? Oh, come on, power over what?

[17:13] I will give power over the nations because he himself is going to come and reign over the nations. I need you to understand this very carefully because it's important.

[17:25] It's important. In Revelation chapter 12 verse 10 and chapter 11, chapter 12 verse 10 said, then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, now salvation and strength and the kingdom of our God and the power of his Christ has come for the accuser of the brethren who accuses them before God day and night has been, sorry, the accuser of the brethren has been cast down.

[17:53] Alright, so now his power has come. He's reigning. Look at Revelation chapter 11 verse 15. Revelation 11 16, 15. It says that then the seventh angels sounded and there were loud voices in heaven saying, the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of his Christ and he shall reign forever and ever.

[18:23] So, the kingdoms have become, this is what Satan was trying to say to Jesus when he was tempting and he said, if you can bow to me, I'll give you the kingdoms. The kingdoms.

[18:33] But because Jesus walked with God, a time is coming when the kingdoms will be given to him. He's coming to reign. That's, in theological circles, it's called the millennial, thousand years reign.

[18:50] So, the world and the earth will not always be like this. Before the first heaven and the first earth will pass away, there will be a period where Jesus is going to return and he's going to return with the first fruits, the saints that have already departed.

[19:06] He's going to return and we shall reign. So, first of all, there's going to be the rapture and after the rapture there's going to be three and a half years of tribulation.

[19:18] And after the three and a half years of tribulation, so those of us who have been raptured who will be with Christ will be the first fruits. I taught you this already. He will be the first fruits. And then after the tribulation, Christ will return publicly.

[19:32] All eyes will see him. But the first coming, no eyes will not see. Bible says he will come like a thief. He will come surreptitiously. He will sneak in.

[19:43] He said, I will sneak in and come as a thief. Doing what? To come and catch people who are not ready. That's why I said, watch. You don't know when he's coming.

[19:56] He's going to come as a thief. And when he comes, those of us who are alert and ready and walking with him and serving him, he's coming to snatch us out. He's coming to snatch us out.

[20:07] Then we will be the first fruits and spend time in the presence of God. The first fruits. And then after the three and a half years of hardness, tribulation, troubles, the time of reality, Christ will be troubling people.

[20:20] He will come again for, and that one, oh, I shall see him. And then he will take those who, so if you don't stand for Christ now, the tribulation, when the tribulation comes, it will be harder.

[20:34] It is going to be harder, but you have to stand. So those who, and some will be beheaded, and those who manage to make it, just like living a Christian life in ISIS camp.

[20:46] And those who make it, who will be alive. So he says that, the rapture, I told you, is going to be two ways. First one, come quietly and snatch us out. The second one, after the tribulation, he will come, and Bible says that, those who are dead in Christ will rise.

[21:03] And those of us who remain, who didn't die, but didn't make it for the first rapture, will also be caught up with the, in 1 Thessalonians chapter 4 verse 16. Those of us who remain, he used the word remain, those who are remaining, will also be caught up with them, and then will go and be with the Lord.

[21:18] And then Revelation chapter, I think 7 or chapter 14, he says that, and I saw, that's when he's going to return on horses, with horses, and those, the saints. He said, we are going to, he said, I think Revelation chapter, is it 7?

[21:34] I saw on the mountain, took me to a mountain, and I was chapter 14 from verse 1. Revelation chapter 14 from verse 1, it talks about how I saw the lamb, okay, the lamb and his saints. And then I looked, and behold, a lamb standing on Mount Zion with him, 144,000, having his father's name written on their forehead.

[21:55] And we, we were going to make war against the Antichrist, against the beast, and we were overcoming. Amen. Amen. Praise God. And so, by all these things, then the thousand years reign, millennial reign, but let me talk more about the thousand years millennial reign.

[22:13] It's going to be the reign of Christ. It says that, look at Daniel. Daniel, Daniel was a very serious apocalyptic prophet. In other words, he prophesied about the end time a lot. He spoke a lot about Jesus Christ.

[22:25] He spoke a lot about what things that have been, later on, John, John saw and spoke about the Revelation. Daniel had already spoken about them. Look at Daniel chapter 7, verse 13 and 14. I was watching in the, in the night visions, and behold, one like the son of man.

[22:43] Who is this? Who is this? One like the son of man. Remember when John, John said, and I tend to see who spoke with me. And in the middle of the, I saw seven candlesticks, candlesticks, lampstands, or candlesticks, the same thing.

[22:59] Revelation chapter 1, verse 12, and then verse 13 says that, and in the middle of the lampstands, one like, is it on the same phrase that Daniel used? One like the son of man.

[23:10] And you remember when Shadrach measured the benedict when the fire, he said, I see one, the fourth one is like the son of man. So that son of man which Daniel used, actually, is a reserved special title for the Messiah.

[23:27] That's Jesus' favorite title for himself. He said, son of man, son of man, son of man. He was talking about that title was just for Christ. So he said, I saw the son of man. So Daniel chapter 7, verse 13 and 14, he says that, and behold, one like the son of man coming, watch this, coming with the clouds of heaven.

[23:47] This is the second coming. All right? The second coming. The first one is coming to, but it's coming in the clouds. Revelation 3, 3. Oh, I didn't want to be, I didn't think I'll be talking about this, but let me, yeah, since I'm there.

[24:01] He said, remember therefore how you have, how you have received and heard. Okay? Hold fast that, hold fast and repent. Therefore, if you know, I will come upon you as a thief and you will not know, you know that I will come.

[24:16] I think it's Revelation, one of the things, 14 or so, he says that he was coming, coming in the clouds. There are two things, coming in the clouds and coming on the clouds.

[24:29] When he's coming in the clouds, that one is the first, you won't see him. He's hidden. So the clouds were covering him and he's coming, he's coming. Tell somebody, he's coming.

[24:40] He's coming. But, the, yeah, Revelation once said, behold, I am coming with the clouds. I think, yeah, this is, but then, in other terms, they use the word in the clouds and every eye, this, this one is the one every eye shall see him.

[24:56] When he's coming to rain, every eye, but the other one when no one shall see him, it is in the clouds. coming in the clouds and you will see him. And, and so this one, when he's returning, the general one, all eye shall see him, that is when he's coming to rain, the millennial rain.

[25:13] And when it comes to rain, this, I need you to understand this. When it comes to rain, some people are going to rain with him. Some people will be raining with him. I'm one of them. Yeah.

[25:24] I can't speak for you, but it's up to you. Yeah. We'll be, we'll be, we shall be raining with him. First Corinthians chapter six, verse, no, let's finish verse 14 in Daniel.

[25:39] Did I finish verse 14? Let's finish, then we'll go to first Corinthians, I'll show you something. I was watching in the, verse 14, please. Okay, I thought, no, sorry, I didn't finish verse 13. So son of man coming with the clouds of heaven.

[25:51] He came, he came to the ancient of the ancient of days and they brought him near before him. Verse 14. Then to him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom that all people's, all people's nations and languages should serve him.

[26:06] His dominion is an everlasting dominion. We shall not pass away and his kingdom. The one which shall not be destroyed. This is talking about when it comes to rain. It's very important.

[26:17] Christ is going to return to rain. He's going to return to rain for a thousand years. In revelations, before we go to first Corinthians, revelations chapter 20, verse four, look at verse four, revelations 24.

[26:34] And I saw what? I can't hear you. I saw what? That's really. And I saw what? Not a throne. Thrones and day.

[26:45] Not this one, not him. When you read revelations chapter four, verse two, he says, and, and I was in the spirit and I was, and behold, a throne set in heaven.

[26:58] And the one that's, so talking about the throne of God, that is heaven. But this one, he said, let's go back to chapter 20. I saw thrones. I saw thrones. And then that sat on them. And, and, and, and judgment was committed to them.

[27:10] At them. It's not a him. At them. Then I saw the souls of those who were beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God. And the, and who had not worshiped the beast and his image.

[27:23] And had not received the mark of the beast on their forehead and their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ. How long? For, that's the millennial, for a thousand years. So they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

[27:38] Thrones. We, some of us going to look at verse 26. Sorry, verse six. I'm sorry. Verse six. Verse six. Blessed and, blessed, blessed and holy is he who has part of the first resurrection.

[27:50] Over such the second death has no power, but they, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ and shall reign with him.

[28:01] How long? A thousand years. So the rain is not in heaven. It's on earth. We said, when I said, I saw dominion and power was given to him and he reigned. We are going to reign with him.

[28:13] Not all Christians. Remember, not all. Remember, not all Christians. Actually, I'm teaching on end time. It's not all Christians. It's the overcomers.

[28:24] Ah, it's the overcomers. The overcoming. Oh, I'll take you a little deeper into something. The overcoming saints. We are going to reign with him. Look at first Corinthians.

[28:35] As I said, chapter six, verse two. Do, do you don't know that the saints will judge the world? Wow. The saints, we are going to judge the world.

[28:49] It's not now, but in the millennium reign. We shall even judge angels. Yes. The saints will judge the world.

[29:01] And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters amongst yourself? You are fighting and getting unbelievers to mitigate our belief, our belief, our belief, our belief, our belief, our belief, our belief.

[29:15] Why should Christians be fighting and unbelievers? It's okay. You guys have to. All right. So we shall reign. We shall judge the world. He says that we shall, I saw thrones and people sat on the thrones.

[29:30] Now look at this. In Luke chapter 19, I found this very interesting. Very interesting. In Luke chapter 19 from verse 12, Bible says that the kingdom of God is like a man. Therefore, he said, a certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom to return.

[29:47] And he called his servants, verse 13, he called his servants, so he called his servants, delivered to them 10 minas, and said to them, do business until I come. I'm coming.

[29:58] He left something for you to occupy until he comes. When you read other translations, he said, occupy until I come. Don't be in church and you are not occupied. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No.

[30:08] No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. Occupy until I come. Occupy, King James says, occupy until I come. Yes, sir.

[30:19] Get busy because I'm coming back. Please never live your Christian life as though he's not coming back. You will give an account.

[30:31] Especially those of us who are pastors. We will give harder accounts. Ah. Ah. Hey. Pastors and teachers. Pastors and teachers. Pastors and teachers. Yeah. No. We will be judged more.

[30:41] Yeah. Yeah. That's it. Yeah. Yeah. We'll give more account. Yeah. So, the people who are pastors and are not doing their work well. They will give account to God. Wow. Ah. Yeah. Yeah.

[30:52] Yeah. We will give accounts. God can't leave you job and then said no Bible said a man traveled and then when he came but no I said a man called his servants to come in do reckoning Matthew chapter 18 verse 23 or something like that Matthew 18 23 said he called his servants they're coming he said therefore the king is having a certain man who went yeah and wanted to settle account with he's going to settle that count with you with his servants no yeah that's a nice one so God's servant God's servant it's not just a fashion for fashion it's a term of accountant accounting accountability I'm going to I'm going to give an account serious account for how I taught the word how I took care of you how I was able to teach you God's word so much that you understood what God's word said so you could live your life by it and bring glory to God so he can bless you I'm going to give an account that's why pastors who are doing it for money they are they are crazy the reason why it's become common is because the church has lost sight of the second coming so people have become businessmen in the puppets businessmen in the puppets let me leave them so he says that verse 13 of Luke chapter 19 he called his servants and gave them give them his minas his money and they said do business like I'm look at the next verse and the citizens didn't like him and all that and then when he returned I think the 16 when he returned then then then came the first say master your minas has end what the first one was giving 10 minutes and he said you gave me 10 minutes and the mina has and 10 other minutes 10 minutes and what did he tell him look at watch this look at my let's go let's go and he think about it authority over what 10 cities we shall reign with him some will reign over 10 cities others over one city and I don't know they will not reign they'll be cast into after that that is when we are raining so does no hell they'll be going to be they are all servants out that darkness instead away from my presence and he said they'll be nothing that we weeping a nation of teeth I should have done more I should have done it well I should have been faithful I should have built with precious stone gold and silver and not with a straw and wood I because then those who build with a straw wood they will suffer losses but they themselves will be saved first Corinthians chapter chapter 3 verse 14 it says that if your work is bent for the day will declare what sort of work you are building everyone each month is every month's work is sorry if any man not my statuses every month's work will be yeah each month's work will become clear for the day will declare because it will be revealed by fire and the fire would test each month's work what sort it is when you are born again you start building seven in church we will not know but the day will declare what quality what kind of work and then verse 14 verse verse the first thing says that if any man's work which he has built is on eight and yours he will receive a reward did he say I'm coming back my reward is with me he's coming first of all fire will come and then those whose work remain said take your reward that's going to be reward yeah he said don't cast don't cast away your confidence for it has

[34:53] great recompense of reward Hebrews chapter 10 verse 35 your confidence this is your perseverance all the things you are doing for it said don't cast away if therefore do not cast away your confidence which has great reward there's a reward coming for what you are doing so he came to give rewards and he says that if your work survives you'll receive a reward because you build with gold you build with silver you build with precious stone but look at the best verse 14 again first Corinthians chapter 3 verse 14 if any man's work is bent he will suffer losses by himself will be saved yet as though through fire so you suffer losses and that's where the gnashing of teeth will come Matthew chapter 25 verse 27 or so 27 Matthew 25 27 when he said that that wicked and lazy servant and says that so you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers and at my coming say my coming so he's going to come back I would have received back my own with interest go to the next verse and see take the talents from him and give it to him who has 10 talents look at verse 29 and then say what for everyone who has more be given and he who has no who has a you have no banners but from him who does not have even what he has will be taken away now the state is a concerning one and cast cast the unprofitable servant into outer darkness there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth now watch this whilst the profitable servant verse 25 or 23 sorry the profitable servant he said well done thou good and faithful servant um for you have been faithful over a few things i will make you ruler over see the ruler there you see the ruler there many over many things enter into the joy of the lord when it comes to rain we are going to reign with him so enter his joy that's when christ will be actually glorified on earth the rain so that's what the disciples were asking they had in mind so when he resurrected they said oh at what time are you going to restore the kingdom to you i said no no it's not your time they were ready to reign because it has always been in in jewish theology that one day there's going to be a rain like the millennial rain and it's going to be like the the time of david david didn't lose any battle bible says in fact in second samuel chapter chapter chapter seven verse one and when god had given david rest from war roundabout so david fought and now his kingdom became peaceful rest and he god gave him rest from all his enemies roundabout all around so david had rest and so the israelites the jews were expecting the davidic kind of messiah so that's why they said whose son is the messiah the messiah is the son of david he's going to bring the david kind of reigning david kind of authority david kind of ruling into us and he's going to restore the kingdom to israel so when he resurrected from the dead and they were with him they said now you are resurrected when he was going to die peter said you can't die you remember peter said you cannot die and jesus said get behind me satan now he died and resurrected in acts chapter one verse verse four five they they asked him excuse me master verse six therefore when they have come together they asked him say lord will you at this time restore the kingdom to israel they were thinking jesus said listen it's not in your power to forget about all these things you shall receive power after the holy ghost so now we are moving into the holy ghost era holy ghost era are you someone listening to what i'm saying we are moving into the holy ghost era so that by the holy ghost you can be able to work for god to honor you so you can make your ruler at the time of the restoration so that's why the holy ghost came the holy ghost came so we can be able to work for god and then when he comes to reign we shall reign with him because you can't do work for god by yourself so he says that watch this so he said you

[48:38] it's very interesting i've just gone off the main thing i was teaching but you need to once i've come here i think i might as well stay here look at revelation chapter 12. this woman was with a child and then verse 3 says there another another sign appeared in heaven this red dragon with seven heads ten horns and seven diadems on his head this verse 4 and he still drew a third of the stars he's a powerful dragon that's but there is the devil the old seven verse 9 says that he's the devil okay so he's the serpent of old the serpent that appeared in garden of eden to eve verse 9 talks about that that old serpent is the same way has become the dragon so that dragon was cast out the serpent of old called the devil satan he was a serpent but now he has become dragon fed on so much blood where i grew up there's there are some insects called mosquitoes some of them when they come and when they come and bite you when they bite you and you kill them they are so much fat with blood blood because they suck blood so this red dragon now watch let me show you anyway the story says that the bible says that the red dragon was waiting for the woman's child to be born so that he eats the child is the child he was looking for he let's come on move back to the verse four five there you should have known that he was looking for and he said and the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth to devour her child as soon as she was born those days when i thought it was mary and read the story look at it the next verse she bore a male child who was to rule all nations it's going somewhere it's going somewhere i know you haven't gotten it that but you get it what was this what was the uniqueness about this child this child was to rule all nations with a rod of iron you remember jesus said he who overcomes i'll give you the rod of iron this child was to rule all nations with the rod of iron and her child was caught up to god and his throne raptured so we the child of this woman the woman is the church but there is a part of the church that is a stronger part the overcoming part we are the one who are going to reign with christ so we but we'll be raptured first because the dragon has a very hefty and healthy appetite for us the stronger a christian you want to be the more satan has a good appetite for you so the watered down church is not a threat to the devil that much it is the overcoming saints in the church so we are a product of the church the main church we are all part of one church this universal woman roman revelation chapter 12 we are part of it but this woman has a proceed a child that's coming we are coming out of the woman the product of the and the devil was waiting to eat us up that's why the word is that he who overcomes is interesting is it interesting it's interesting make sure just get the message and listen to it over because some of the things i'm saying are quite it takes time to because you forget it very easily so but i was just connecting this ruling child to the ones that we are going said revelation chapter 2 verse 27 again look at this he shall rule this is talking about he who overcomes look at verse 26 but let's speak it from 26 again verse 26
