Preparing For The Second Coming Financial Stewardship

[0:13] Be blessed. Father, thank you that the entrance of your word gives light to the simple and brings understanding. We pray as we hear your word, reveal Jesus to us.

[0:23] Holy Spirit, open the heavens upon us. We want to encounter and experience you in an unusual way. Let your glory be seen. Let your power be felt.

[0:36] Let your presence be experienced. Let your kingdom come. As your word is taught, Lord, bring direction to the confused. Bring conviction to the sinning.

[0:48] Bring salvation to the lost. Bring illumination to the blind. In the name of Jesus, bring healing to the brokenhearted. In the name of Jesus, cause the prison doors to be open for the captives.

[1:04] In the mighty name of Jesus. Father, we take authority in this atmosphere. In the principalities that govern this night bridge area. And that we pray that the delivery of your word will cast out devils.

[1:19] In the mighty name of Jesus. We bind the enemy to take his hands off. The life of anybody here. Anyone going through depression. Anyone going through any form of satanic harassment.

[1:31] I decree that as God's word is delivered. Today marks the end of the harassment. In the name of Jesus. So shall it be. In Jesus' name.

[1:42] Amen. Hallelujah. Amen. Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. Well, I've been, for some time now, I have been teaching on the second coming of Christ.

[2:00] The rapture. There was a time, some time ago, a few years ago.

[2:13] There was an issue in, amongst our politicians. called the expense scandal.

[2:29] And then afterwards, another problem came. I think the phone tapping issue. And it was big.

[2:42] And the expense scandal, people were just taking the money. And didn't realize that there was coming again a day of reckoning.

[2:56] There was coming a day of accountability. There was coming a day of reckoning. When you go to school, let's say uni, you can have as much fun as you want.

[3:09] Because at university, there's a certain level of freedom. That's where a lot of us lost some stuff. Some people lost their decency.

[3:28] Others lost their sanity. Others lost their virginity. Others lost their spirituality.

[3:45] And some lost their divinity. So a lot happens when freedom comes.

[3:57] But at university, you may think that, well, I can just have fun. No, you can't be in university forever. Usually, it's a few years. Two years, depending on the seriousness of the course you are doing.

[4:09] Some of the useless courses is one year. Only a moment. A certificate.

[4:20] A certificate. A certificate. Your mother told you to study. So some of the courses is two years. Others, three years. Others, seven years.

[4:32] And some even about ten years. Yeah. Yeah. But after the ten years, you're supposed to come out. So whilst you are doing year one, year two, year three, you actually have in mind that there is going to come a day where you are working out with a certificate.

[4:47] You don't live for just today. Sad to say, many believers have lost track of the future. And the future of Christianity is actually in the resurrection and the second coming.

[5:01] That's right. The brightness of our future is in his coming. Okay. Not in our physical material possessions. God has not committed himself to your physical possession to an extent that other things don't matter again.

[5:23] God cannot be committed to that. So there are times God will not endorse or embark or provide or supply certain physical needs just because he wants your focus to be on some other things.

[5:39] That's true. Being a Christian is not a key to financial prosperity. That's right. Or it's not an automatic certificate or an automatic upgrade to financial prosperity.

[5:59] So you'll be saying, but why are so many Christians poor? Because you don't have, Christianity doesn't make you rich per se. Financially.

[6:10] It's not necessarily, it's God. There's a covenant of blessedness. God blesses us with financial prosperity. So, for instance, to be able to have a service like this in London requires a certain level of financial help.

[6:31] Other than that, this revival will crash. So God only supplies for what he orders. You can't complain about God's lack of supply when you are so stranded or his work is stranded and nothing is going on his way.

[6:49] But if his purpose is being fulfilled, listen, when Jesus was born, he was born by ordinary Mary and Joseph Carpenter. But they had so much finances that they were able to travel and go live with Egypt for preparation.

[7:06] Some of us, if you have to go for one week holiday, you have to save for one year. Prepare. And then last minute don't come, trying to see.

[7:24] They took a donkey with him. They went on a holiday and they were there for over two years. They were there for a while until Herod died.

[7:36] Why? Because frankincense, gold, frankincense and me, people brought it to Jesus when he was born. Because God knew they would need it as they travel.

[7:49] So God will supply for your needs. You have to learn how to pray this prayer.

[7:59] God, if I do not need it, God, don't supply it. Sometimes you want it, but you didn't know that you didn't need it. Why? Most of the time we try Christians, modern day Christians, modern day, modern day, not all Christians, but modern day, certain type of, downgraded, Christians with a downgraded mindset, Christianity, mindset of Christianity, think that God must give me this.

[8:34] I'm entitled to God. You have to give me this. Give me a car. Give me a house. Give me this. Give me this. Give me this. That shows that you are God. Come on. He won't give it to you. Let him, let him fail if he come here.

[8:46] Who are you? He gives according to his own purpose, not according to your suffering. Right. My God. Ephesians 1.11 says that.

[8:59] He works all things by the counsel of his own. He works all, Ephesians 1.11. He works all things according to the counsel of his own will.

[9:11] The pleasure to him who obtained and inherited, being preached according to the purpose of him, who works all things according to the counsel of his own will, not according to the suffering of people.

[9:22] So, when someone tells you, if there is God, why are people suffering? See, they don't know God. That's why they don't receive. God doesn't work things based on what people need.

[9:35] He works based on his own agenda. What I'm saying is that everybody does things based on their own plans and their interests. I will say something to shock you.

[9:47] God does everything based on his own interests. Absolutely. Absolutely. His interests. So, if you want to catch God's attention, look for his interests. But his interests, watch the beautiful thing is, God's interest factors your benefits.

[10:08] God factors your benefits in his interest. So, his interest is actually when you come into, you have been created for his interest. And as soon as you come, you begin to line up with God's plans.

[10:21] Guess what? Life begins to flow seamlessly the way it should. Right. Hallelujah.

[10:33] Amen. Well, so, God has his plan. Most of us, if we are not careful, it's like you go to university and all you are doing is how I can enjoy my time here.

[10:52] But not how I can make my time here worthwhile. Yeah. Yeah. Because you are going to leave uni soon. Mm-hmm.

[11:02] Yeah. Right. So, God. God. God. There's a day coming. Yeah. Yeah. So, the essence of Christianity is to help us or is for us to be able to keep our eyes on the heavenly things.

[11:23] Eternal things. In fact, he puts it this way in Colossians chapter 3, verse 1 to 3. It says that since you are seated with Christ in heavenly places, it says, set your eyes or set your heart.

[11:39] If then you are risen with Christ, seek the things which are above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of the Father. That's why you should seek the things.

[11:50] Look at the next verse. Verse 2. Set your mind on things up. Tell somebody. Set your mind on things up. Tell the person again.

[12:01] Set your mind on things up. It is very natural and human to set your mind on things on earth. Things on earth.

[12:14] What are it? How am I going to get this? How am I going to get this? So people come to Christian, they come to church, especially if the pastor has an anointing for God, for the manifestation of God, which is necessary.

[12:26] They end up trying to reduce all the service or all the anointing to using, you don't use the anointing as a means to gain. So you want a husband.

[12:38] That's why you are in church. That's why it's likely God is going to be the one to give you. I'll explain it. Because he also wants you for his purpose.

[12:51] But he knows if he gives you that husband. Right. God. See you later. See you later. So, so, so, so, so, so, so, he will keep the husband there for you.

[13:07] He will keep him. He will keep that wife there for you. He's there. I'm just trying to suggest to somebody, your wife has already been provided. Oh. Your husband has already been provided.

[13:32] Let's, let's think about this. When I got married. Do you think, do you think she had just been born?

[14:20] Didn't you go to other areas and then you leave a fire? My friend. The first time I had a wifely chat with him, he said, I said, when do you want to marry?

[14:33] He said, me? No. I'm not ready. I said, really? He said, no. Because when I look at him, he has a thin blood. This man needs a wife. Because when you come to a certain age, your body will tell you and everything is done.

[14:51] My time has come. Your time has come. Somebody say, my time has come. My time has come. The reason why you feel you need some money, money, money, because actually it's a season for God to give you.

[15:03] But sometimes you are trying to look the wrong way. So in your destiny, something is telling you that this is a season for something to happen.

[15:13] You just know. But you are trying to use an earthly process to get a heavenly reward. To get a heavenly backing. And earthly process, you will end up in the flesh.

[15:26] You will end up in worldliness. And worldliness is enmity against God. So God had to back up. So I spoke to the gentleman. I said, I'm not ready.

[15:37] I said, okay, when? I said, no, no, no, no, no. Years later. I think less than a year later. Less than a year. The guy came home. I went out with this lady.

[15:48] He actually went out to, is it? Cinema. Cinema. Yeah, Syracuse. Syracuse, yeah. I remember.

[15:58] Syracuse. And after the cinema, they went to Pizza Hut. But they, by the time they left Pizza Hut, it couldn't work straight.

[16:22] Because the woman was different. She, ah, so then, the next day or two days, he came to my office. He said, Pastor, I need to talk to you. I said, what is there?

[16:35] I have proposed to that lady. So I said, oh, really?

[16:49] I left it. We thank God. I said, we thank God. So let's pray. The thing didn't last. Oh. Yeah. It didn't last. Because maybe it was out of last.

[17:00] Oh. Ethli. Ethli. Yeah. Wow. Am I not speaking a droopin? Papapapis. String.

[17:12] He used the ethli means, and caught. He caught one bed. My bosah, you know? He thought it was a dove. A vulture.

[17:31] Anyway. Then afterwards, he came to his senses. Oh, my God. So he had to wait and wait. And this time, he prayed. He didn't go to the cinema. When he saw somebody, he was thinking, he came to talk to me, can we pray about this?

[17:45] Before we even start going. Your pastor has a lot to do, so you not telling him about what you are planning to do makes it easy for him.

[17:56] Just that the problem coming, he has to bear with you. And pray with you. Especially a relationship. When you see someone, you think the person's an angel. Yeah. Right. Oh, relationship. It's true.

[18:07] No, no, no, no, no. The person's problems, you don't know. It gets to a point, you just, I can't take this, I can't take it anymore. You said, I will die for the person, but now you realize that, no, I can't live for the person.

[18:26] Anyway, let me not go into that. But the point I'm making is that before he found his wife, wonderful, godly lady, amen. When he found his wife, she was already born.

[18:39] That's right. She's finished uni. She was in church. She's twin. So it wasn't like when he now was ready for God, God created that lady. So your, your man has been already, is there?

[18:52] You don't say amen to them. Peradventure, if you're going to catch the wrong one, may they escape from your hands quickly. Or may you escape.

[19:10] Actually, you should escape, but in this relation, you have to finish. One of the causes of mental health challenges in our society is relationships gone wrong.

[19:26] You don't know that? If it doesn't affect you, it affects your children. They'll be very angry people. Because you went to the relationship with romantic vision.

[19:41] No future preparation. Oh, he's so good. And now that the sun is shining. When you saw the rumor, he said, ah, Jesus.

[19:53] God, you have answered my praise. Any man who comes to you and says, God says you are my wife, tell him that God also said, build me a house. Build me a house within the one next year.

[20:11] Then I will know. He said, God knows I can't afford it. Then God also knows I don't like you. All right. So sometimes we live our lives expecting from God just material things.

[20:30] But listen, when you go to uni, don't live like you won't finish. When you finish, it's your certificate that justifies the time you spent there.

[20:44] Is it not true? In our Christian walk, please, please, how many of you know Christians die? Human beings die and Christians die.

[20:55] And you are one of the people who one day will die. God forbid that it should be this year. Those of us who have wasted much of our time, I pray that may God do you the Hezekiah favor.

[21:14] that He will add a bit more years to your life. Look at that young lady, what she said. She said, last year by now, she was on the sick bed because she was, she attempted to take her life.

[21:32] She attempted to take, and a year on, she's in church serving and actually recording and the killing people come to church. The whole world come to church.

[21:46] Do you see how God answered the prayer that quickly? God doesn't answer every prayer. There are certain prayers, He will answer them quickly. Quick.

[21:57] Quick. prayer. Your desire, prayer that is born out of your desire to do more for Him, He answers it like magic. Yeah. But the prayer for Him to just do for you so that He will decorate you, I can't guarantee how quickly He will answer it.

[22:19] Somebody's blessed. I am here. So, the second coming of Christ must always be in view for the Christian. To the Christian, it must always be on your mind.

[22:30] It must always, I was sharing some things with somebody recently and I said something quite profound. Listen to this. I said something quite profound that, you see, at a point in time I didn't have a child even though I've been married for a while.

[22:48] and it's just legitimate like Zachariah, John the Baptist's father, to pray, God, give us a child. It's human and there's nothing wrong with it and please, pray about your needs.

[23:03] Okay? Any kind of doctrine that tells you you don't have to pray about it, God don't mind. He says, be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication let your requests and petitions be made known unto God with thanksgiving and it says that and the peace of God will keep your hearts.

[23:21] So God likes us to pray. He said, ask. Matthew 7, 7, first one I quoted is Philippians 4, 6 and 7. Matthew 7, 7, ask and you shall receive. Seek and you shall find.

[23:33] God can do everything, not really everything.

[23:45] You understand what I mean? God cannot lie. So there are things God cannot do. God cannot deceive.

[23:58] God cannot die and a few things. So God, but with God all things are possible and watch this. I want to say this.

[24:08] I said it on Thursday but I didn't say it today. God answers your prayers not because you prayed them.

[24:20] I was meaning. So, okay, God give me a big house. Okay? And God gave you a big house.

[24:31] That big house didn't come, it's not like when you pray God decided, oh, okay, let me give me a house. No. It was already part of his plan, intention to do. But so why does he have to wait for me to ask?

[24:44] That's a good question. Because if it's his plan and it's his intention, he shouldn't wait for us to ask. He will just do it anyway whether he ask or not. No. God has chosen to limit himself by the dimension of human involvement.

[25:00] So, if there is no human involvement, some things will not be done. So, he has chosen himself that what he will do in your life in spite of the fact that he wants to do it, he wants you to pray about it then he will answer the prayer.

[25:15] So, it's not your prayer that makes him think, oh, okay, let me do it for him. It's already on his plan. So, the prayers God answers are things that are already in his program.

[25:27] But someone needs to pray so that he can train us how to look up to him. Set your mind on things above. Colossians 3.3 Colossians 3.3 I didn't finish.

[25:43] Let me finish the 3.3 For you died and your life is hit with Christ in God. So, that's why you have to set your mind on things above. Jesus is coming.

[25:55] According to Revelations chapter 3 verse 11 he said, behold, I come quickly. Let's all say I come quickly. I come quickly. How is he coming?

[26:06] Quickly. I can't hear you. How is he coming? Quickly. Behold, I come quickly. In Revelations chapter 20, 22, sorry, chapter 22 verse 7 I think he also says I'm coming.

[26:21] Revelation 22 says, behold, I am coming quickly. Jesus is coming. Tell somebody Jesus is coming. Jesus is coming.

[26:31] In Revelations chapter 22 verse 12 behold, Jesus said clearly that he's coming. He said, and behold, I am coming quickly. Did you see that all the time when he talks about I'm coming he talks about reward too.

[26:46] He's coming with rewards. So, behold, I am coming quickly. Revelation chapter 22 verse 20 he's coming. Jesus is coming. Revelation chapter 22 surely I am coming quickly.

[27:02] Is it not interesting? Yeah. Isn't it amazing? It's amazing. I think in 1 Corinthians I think it's in 1 Corinthians chapter 4 verse 5.

[27:15] I think 1 Corinthians chapter 4 verse 5. Each praise will come from God. So, it's rather 4 or 5 somewhere there. Okay, let's leave it.

[27:26] But 1 Corinthians chapter 11 verse 26 when Paul was talking about communion he said the more you do this for as often as you eat the bread and drink you do proclaim the Lord's death for how long?

[27:40] Till he comes. For how long? Till he comes. For how long? Till he comes. Even when we are eating communion we know he's coming. Wow. He's coming.

[27:52] As I was saying I was sharing with somebody that you see I in human humanly speaking I would need a child don't you think so?

[28:03] I want a child. I'm married. It's just right. It's just right. It's part of daily human necessity. But it's not Jesus Christ didn't have a child. Okay, let's leave him out.

[28:14] John the Baptist didn't have a child. By finishing his job. Okay. And in heaven he rank among the highest. Okay. Suddenly no one will be asking but John the Baptist is a failure didn't have a child.

[28:31] No. Right. Even when you don't have a child and you die in the Lord and fulfill your assignment over a period of time you know everyone will die. By the time everybody is dying as soon as you die you realize that your descendants really don't matter.

[28:51] Because God is going to deal with everybody individually. So he's not going to be dealing with you based on your father's credit or going to deal with your children based on you.

[29:02] He's going to deal with you and after a while whether you have children or not in heaven that doesn't matter. Okay. You see but when you are on earth oh I need a husband oh you see you may not necessarily need one to fulfill your destiny.

[29:23] The earlier you come to terms with that the better. Can you imagine? Mom Pastor one of my father's desires after he realized that God has called me was one day to see his son preaching.

[29:42] He never lived to see it. Oh dad he should have been here to see it. But you know what it really doesn't matter. You never knew until I told you.

[29:53] What would I what difference would I have made to you? It wouldn't have made any difference to you. Only him and maybe me but really in the grand scope of the job itself that doesn't matter.

[30:05] Does that make sense? Yes. And he will not go to hell because of that. He didn't see it. He will not miss his reward because he didn't see it. He has done his job. Are you getting what I'm saying?

[30:17] Yes. I'm trying to tune us to begin to trust God absolutely holy and wholeheartedly in spite of what physically you do not have.

[30:29] Amen. Thank you. I see it. Because there's a possibility for you not to have the things that you have always dreamt about. Oh yes.

[30:40] There are people here married who dreamt of some wonderful marriage that you don't regret for married. When you were growing up your dream was how my husband would every day come from work and just carry me and my wife would and and and you are now 53 and you haven't been carried since your wedding day.

[31:20] Usually usually when people get to a certain age they begin to adjust and accept. You taught by the time you finish uni.

[31:39] Within one year you have this big job with Ewan. Five years has passed and even Peckham Academy doesn't want to give you a job.

[31:49] but I see your story changing. I say I see your story changing.

[32:06] I'm trying to retune us please. Let's retune because too many of us have lost sight of the greater reward coming and have been distracted by the material physical feelings and things we go through.

[32:23] Remember what you went through some time ago? And some of the ladies who are married. You remember how frustrated you were looking for a man?

[32:36] You remember that you would like get married? Now you have children already. It's like a thing of the past. Remember when you didn't have a job? You never thought you would ever get a job but now look at you.

[32:51] You are now interviewing people and giving them employment. So the things we fret about so much is actually coming to pass. It's coming to pass.

[33:05] You were so desperate that this girl would say yes. And now you have regretted so much for her saying yes. Yes. When we say pray for revival I will say yes.

[33:16] all right. So Jesus is coming. So we have to tune our minds. Say tune your mind.

[33:29] Live for eternal purpose. So do we stop doing everything? No. That's what I'm about to show you in a minute. Jesus said as I showed you last week two will be on the field.

[33:45] Two will be on the field. One grinding. One will be taken. One will be left. Matthew chapter 24 verse 40 and 41.

[34:03] Two men will be in the field. One will be taken and one left. May you be the one taking. The amen is good but actually you must substantiate it later after you have left here.

[34:19] These ones don't just happen because you said amen. They do happen because of your works. I put a status up yesterday that salvation is a gift for the guilty.

[34:36] But a reward. Salvation is not a reward for the righteous but a gift for the guilty. You are not saved by works.

[34:52] We are saved by grace but judged by works. So as soon as you are saved and you are in church you are in Christ you have to start running.

[35:08] The Christian walk is a race. 2 Corinthians chapter 4 verse 7 he said I fought a good fight. I have 2 Timothy chapter sorry 2 Timothy I'm sorry why did I say I'm very sorry about that.

[35:26] 2 Corinthians chapter 4 verse 7 it says that I have fought a good fight. I have finished my race. Say my race. Oh come on say it again.

[35:36] Say louder. In 1 Corinthians chapter 9 verse 24 Paul says that I do not run aimlessly. Don't you know that all those who run in a race all run but one received the prize run in such a way that you may obtain the prize.

[35:55] So it means that you are actually an athlete. As a Christian you are supposed to run. Run don't run in a cavalier way.

[36:06] Nonchalant way. Run in such a way with such determination with such focus that you if anyone will obtain a prize it will you. Run in such a way that you look at verse 24 he said I don't do my things anyhow.

[36:23] And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown but we for imperishable this tells you it's not something earthly.

[36:36] Everything earthly is going to be perishable. Jesus said in Matthew chapter 5 verse 18 heaven and earth shall pass away. So everything earthly is perishable. Heaven and earth I surely I say to you to heaven and earth pass away not a jot or a till will by no means pass from the law till it's fulfilled.

[37:00] So heaven and earth will pass away. 2 Peter chapter 3 verse 10 talks about how the earth will be melted. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise and the elements that are talking about the earth will met with fervent heat.

[37:21] This is more than global warming. Both the earth and the works that are in the earth will be burnt away. So watch this.

[37:31] So this tells you this tells us that when it said I ran to obtain a crown it's not for the we obtained we ran 1st Corinthians chapter 9 verse 25 we are running to obtain an imperishable crown it's talking about this is not an earthly crown because everything earthly will perish one day.

[37:55] So if he says that we are an imperishable crown we are talking about believers every believer is expected to run a race. Run!

[38:08] Run! Run! Run! Run! In the book of Hebrews Hebrews chapter 12 verse 2 I like this it's good to hear this looking unto Jesus the other let's go verse 1 I think the arena is packed he says that therefore since we are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses let us lay aside every weight I mean can you imagine you are an athlete and you are wearing suit three piece suit same boat on your mask and you have your suit on three piece on your mask and you are wearing these high heels you know ladies actually when ladies want to run they do this they take this off they have a way of taking off the heels very nicely they hold it like this and yank it off and then they hold it and begin to run it is called a weight you can't run with those high heels and some of us the need for relationship has become a high heel spiritually spiritual high heels that's why your

[39:34] Christian life is suffering anemia or hemophilia it says that let Hebrews chapter 12 verse 1 let us cast aside or lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily say easily say easily how many of you know that the sins that easily will get him may not be the one that easily gets me so when I'm focusing on you have to do the other thing I have to think about myself because everyone has the sin that easily get you some of you porn would never get you it not your thing but some of us giving stinginess the sin of stinginess it will not get you but the sin of unforgiveness bitterness you you are practically an epitome a personification of bitterness and

[41:06] Satan has convinced you it's because of your upbringing you are not treated well and so there's all these psychological reasons why you should keep the bitterness and it's killing you killing you and you have hip psychologists upon psychiatry upon psychiatry and it's killing you because you have a reason to be very angry person you have a reason to be very bitter the sin that so easily beset you oh but I've been a Christian for 20 years that's why you still have the sin that says this message on the flesh God never saved the flesh your flesh cannot be saved because God didn't create the flesh and this flesh will not make it to heaven as long as you live in this earth this flesh will be your biggest challenge constant war so Seth run with patience with perseverance I used to be an athlete and 400

[42:10] I did 200 400 and 100 I was one of the best and and when you are doing 200 or 100 after the bend everyone is beginning to be tied you have to keep pushing sometimes you feel your legs are heavy you want to stop 400 you want to stop marathon sometimes you want to stop but you have to run with perseverance you have to finish hard Satan will test you situations will bring you under pressure to understand that sometimes you feel like giving up Bible says that don't draw back because my soul will not have pleasure in those who draw back Hebrews chapter 10 verse 35 36 somewhere there you can't draw back persevere so he said let us run so you are running and say

[55:25] King James but other translations prudent he should he he just evaluated the situation and judged and knew what to do to benefit him tomorrow and then verse 9 look at what Jesus said verse 9 I think what Jesus said in verse 9 he says that and I say unto you make friends for yourself by unrighteous mammon this is why I have to just do this quickly what word is this what word is this do you know what mammon stands for mammon stands for richest wealth material possession okay so mammon in the bible anytime you see mammon it stands for richest wealth material possessions okay and when you read down the text Jesus told them that look at verse 11 look at verse 11 all right let's look at verse 11 therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon did you see that if you have not been faithful in material possession unrighteous material possession riches and wealth if you haven't been faithful in a mammon who will commit to you to your trust the true riches say true riches true riches so the true riches that are committed to you is a function of your faithfulness or how you handle the untrue riches wow so we have to establish what's untrue riches what is unrighteous mammon mammon means riches but why did you say unrighteous it's very important to understand this please get this why did bible use unrighteous for money for wealth for riches is it wrong riches in itself is not wrong because according to first timothy chapter 6 verse 17 tell all who are rich warn all teach all those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living god who gives see who gives us richly all things so god actually if you are rich if you have wealth and you are christian bible says that god is behind it so god is not against riches got it right god is not against riches so why did he say riches are unrighteous because i'm going to quote a few scriptures and rush to something quickly i need you to get i need to establish something because god is the one who created the heavens and the earth bible says that everything all possessions belong to god first chronicles chapter 29 verse 14 write those text down quickly because i'm going to quote a few scriptures first chronicles chapter 29 verse 14 and verse 16 verse 14 and verse 16 it says that thank you jesus but who am i and who who am i and who are my people that you that we should be able to offer so willingly as this for all things come that's david talking to god david for all things oh it's solomon the king talking to god for all things come from you and of you and of your own we have given you so it says that you possess all things i think the new old king james posted a thing about possession also you possess all things are from you okay all things for all things come of thee the same thing all right so say all things come from god so if all things come from god why is he saying that the things that are you are getting are righteous if god created the heavens and the earth everything belongs to him why is it that bible is saying some things having material things are unrighteous am i communicating to somebody all things are of god

[59:26] but when god created the heavens and the earth listen to this very carefully do you know what happened the things god has created because of man's fall everything became corrupted so romans chapter 8 verse 20 and 21 you need to understand this i'm trying to establish a point this is this is quite some strong teaching anyway you see that for for the creation was subjected to futility not willingly but because of him who subjected it in hope so entire creation look at verse 22 21 the next verse 21 because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of god so everything created has been corrupted so it said creation will be delivered from the bondage of corruption everything created by god has been corrupted how because man fell from obeying god and so satan came in and suddenly satan became the god of this world god according to second corinthians chapter 4 verse 4 satan is the god of this world second corinthians 4 4 satan is the god of this world whose mind the god of this age has blinded and then in first john chapter 5 verse 19 first john chapter 5 verse 19 see how i push it first john 5 19 it talks about how everything in the world we know that we are of god and the whole world lies under the sway of the evil one the wicked one the whole world so everything in the world satan has got a stronger influence on it is it making sense but then why does the bible say that god supplies our needs so the fact that everything in the world has satan uses it to try and influence people jesus actually pushes this way in matthew chapter 6 verse 24 he said you cannot serve god and mammon either he will hate the one and love the other one or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the others you cannot serve god and mammon you cannot even serve two girls at the same time i know some of the guys are quite good you can't you can't serve two men at the same time i know you are dating two but you actually like one better one was for finances and the other one was was for treatment jesus said you cannot watch this and i need to put it back on the screen matthew chapter 6 24 you cannot serve two you cannot serve two masters you cannot serve two masters you other then it goes on you cannot serve do you see the last statement you cannot serve god and mammon so that means that mammon can compete with god in your attention for your attention material possessions riches wealth can compete it's an equal viable competitor with god on earth for your attention actually what satan does is he tries to use material possession material things to divert our devotion from god divert your soul because of that thing he wants now your attention your devotion your genuine worship to god has been so much compromised that's why jesus said you cannot serve god in material possessions

[63:26] because satan uses those things to divert your focus from god now having established that this is the context in which jesus was talking about somebody being shrewd he was about to lose his money and then because he was about to lose his money he did some dodgy deals so that when he loses his money he can be secured now jesus said that look at this guy and he says verse 9 again in luke chapter 16 verse 9 again he said you to make friends for yourself that's very interesting put it on the screen look at this watch this this is very interesting test are you with me guys can you put it on the screen please no say and i said to you make okay make friends for yourselves by unrighteous mammon this is this i explain why it's called unrighteous because satan has infiltrated uses it so unrighteous mammon make friends for yourself not with the money but through so use physical resources use material possession you remember when he says that work so you can have money to use material possession use make friends for yourselves by unrighteous mammon that when you fail now this is a very interesting text watch this that when you fail they may receive you into an everlasting no no watch watch this everlasting everlasting home is for people who are in christ someone who is going to hell cannot receive you into an everlasting home so this is telling you the friends you should make use your material resources in pushing the agenda of god for the people of god to be blessed so that when there's no more life after your life when everything has ended the next phase of your life when you have left this job you have to use the material things that is temporal use it because you are about to lose your job the guy was about to lose his job so he said let me use my position to secure my future after I've left this year so what

[72:26] Jesus said you are faithful in the least he's talking about the ability to the opportunity to do God's work on earth with your resources it's the least thing you can do for God's kingdom because match is when the resurrection comes and the rewards are coming crowns are coming rulership is coming that's when they match but this on earth that's the least you can do for God on earth the least you can do for God I like that young lady's testimony she said that I'm happy today I'm serving in church that's the least you can do for God can you imagine if she had died last year if she had died last year and she wasn't born again she would go to hell if she was born again she would die but no reward no reward because it's going to be a time of reward 2nd Corinthians chapter 5 verse 10 everyone must appear before the throne the judgment of Christ to receive in your body whether good or bad whatever you have done you shall receive 1st Corinthians chapter 3 verse 14 rewards are coming if any man's work which he has built on it endures he will receive a reward that's why the foundation is Christ what you build on

[73:46] Christ so you are born again to not build you are born again to work for God you are born again to serve in church you are born again to serve the interest of God to serve you are born again to do the work of God and he says that the quality with which you do it will determine the kind of crown you receive this message is very Christian it is it flows against the current materialism tide tide of materialism in our generation you shall receive you shall receive but most of us have received and received and have become materialistic at the expense of your eternal destiny at the expense of the reward God has prepared is preparing for you Paul said I fought a good fight I've run the race and I've kept the faith and he says that and because of that I know that when the righteous judge Christ shall appear I shall receive a crown 1st Timothy chapter 4 verse 7 2nd

[92:44] I got the power how long how long there's something is it Viagra or something what are some of those names Viagra and what tell me you know God saved me very early so I didn't get to know some of these things you can drink those afterwards ecstasy tablets it will keep you high high high but when the thing wears off you are emptier than you first embarked on the I want to encourage somebody life is not forever there's a day of accountability coming there's a day yes you've made mistakes don't let Satan use that against you get up start watch this start becoming heavenly minded set your mind unless you're not born again but set your mind on things above every resource in your hands remember you are just a steward

[93:53] God entrusted you one million he entrusted you can you imagine if I were to be God and I want to invest one million into my work who would I bring it to the one who is faithful in the little he gets or if God makes a mistake and passes through the money will never get into the church yes you call us from New York down you are on a holiday with some friends think about what I'm saying God will always provide for his work by depends on who will make himself available for God to use and it starts by faithfulness sometimes maybe the bigger blessing you are waiting for hasn't showed that because you are not faithful in that list you are not faithful in the list God has given you you are not faithful true riches you are so upset you can't let this lady who hurt you go and yet you believe that

[95:06] God should bring your own wife bitterness is too much just let the person go let that man go let go and the one God to bring you realize that this one is better that's true riches true riches I pray that by the time our Lord is coming may he find us faithful every day when you wake up pray that God Holy Spirit help me to be faithful help me to be faithful and you will be tested the finances that passes through your hands there are times you buy a very expensive pendant very expensive pendant very expensive out of love the person said I want to honor you when she saw it the value of it she said I don't deserve to keep this right so she also had to give it to a sick woman of God is stewardship stewardship it's not everything that comes into your hands that belongs to you need space

[96:36] It takes resources to do anything physical. We didn't come here speaking in tongues. Oh, don't talk. No, no. We came here because we had to be able to pay.

[96:50] Where is the resources coming from? National Lottery? No. Bingo. Bingo. But are people not being blessed? Yes. Look at that. Even if there's nobody, that lady who is now steward, I'm steward in God's house.

[97:04] Even if there's just one, just one, just one, just one. But there are many whose lives have been mightily transformed. Their work must go on.

[97:15] But it will take faithful ones like you and I, to give God our resources, they say, Lord, I'm making something, preparing for eternal reward as I invest into your work. I say, one day I'll go to heaven.

[97:28] For what? What are you going to get? What? You are actually not, you are not expecting to go. Because if you are expecting to go, you're prepared. You can't be telling me tomorrow morning you are traveling to Dubai and you have not packed anything, there's nothing, you have not bought a ticket, you don't have a passport, oh, come on.

[97:47] Come on. You're actually not expecting to go. But I pray that God will help us all. Don't let your heart condemn you, but desire.

[97:59] Because there's a call of God on your life. If you are one of God's people, as I speak, it will resonate with your spirit. You will know God is speaking to you. Don't bother about anybody. It's you. God is not talking to somebody.

[98:11] It's you. The Bible says that, 2 Timothy 2, verse 19, the foundation of the Lord stands sure, having the seal, God knows them that are his. God knows those who are his.

[98:22] He knows. He knows. And Jesus said, I know my sheep, and my sheep hear my voice. John chapter 10, verse 27. So if you belong to God, and God's word is coming, you will know. Your friend may be saying, but you know deep in your heart.

[98:35] Two will be sitting down. Two will be on the field. One will be taken. The other will be left. It depends on how you do it before God is doing. We want to pray. Thank you, Jesus.

[98:47] Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord. If you can open your two arms and lift your arms a little bit in front of you, not up. Just open your two arms like this, like this. Turn it, turn it, like someone is putting something in your hands.

[99:01] Yes. And I want you to pray that, Lord. One prayer. Help me to be faithful to you. Help me. I know I've failed you in a few times or in many times, in many instances and in many things, but Lord, help me to be faithful.

[99:15] Begin to pray that prayer right now. Lord, help me to be faithful. Help me to be faithful. Help me not to save Mormon. Help me not to save material things. Help me to save you instead with my material things.

[99:28] Help me, Lord, to make you my master. Help me not to make material possession wealth riches my master. Help me, Lord. Father, help us.

[99:40] Help us to be faithful. Help us to, as we pursue the things of life, as we go after the necessary things of life, our family lives, our careers, our marriages, our Lord, our resources, our acquisitions, Lord, our plans, our ambitions.

[99:58] Lord, help us not to lose sight of your work. Help us not to lose sight of you, working with you in faithfulness. Help us to walk pure. Help us to live the life of righteousness.

[100:09] Help us to run our race. Help us to keep the faith. Help us to finish our course. Lord, we ask for your help. Help us to be faithful. Help us to be faithful. Somebody pray.

[100:20] Lord, help me to be faithful. Lord, help me to be faithful. For he who is faithful in least shall be faithful in much. Help me to be faithful. Father, we thank you.

[100:32] We praise you. Thank you. Please push your hands down by your head. I want to pray for a special group of people here. You are here, you want to say, Pastor, I believe God has spoken to me immensely through you.

[100:47] But I want to start a new journey with Christ because I am actually not in Christ. I haven't surrendered my life to Christ. I want to start a new journey in Christ. I want to invite Christ into my heart to be my Lord so I can also start living with him, building and developing my relationship with him.

[101:04] I want to be a true Christian. I don't want to be a fake one. I want to be a true Christian. The Bible says that John chapter 4, verse 24, the time is coming now is when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth.

[101:17] Verse 23, verse 24, for such seeketh the Father to worship him. You want to say, Pastor, pray with me. I want to worship God, Jesus. in spirit and in truth. I want to invite Jesus into my heart to be my Lord.

[101:29] I want to be born again. Everybody say it. Say, Lord Jesus. Lord Jesus. I know I am a sinner and I have sinned against you but I believe that you died on the cross to save me from my sins.

[101:42] Please forgive me. I repent of all my sins. Please wash me with your blood. From today, I make a commitment that I will save you. I will live for you.

[101:54] I will walk with you in truth and in spirit as I prepare for your second coming. Thank you for this opportunity.

[102:05] I really count myself privileged for you giving me this opportunity. Thank you, Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name. Amen. Father, I thank you so much for my precious friends, precious brothers and sisters who heard your voice.

[102:20] many hurt but turned down but they hurt and became honest and true to themselves and to you. I pray that, Lord, let your blessing come upon them. Any one of them who you have marked for greatness and for great works, I pray that they will not miss out on destiny.

[102:36] Whatever the enemy has done in the past, I pray for supernatural recovery in their lives. In the name of Jesus, I bless you. I pray for strength. I pray for speed. Any sickness in your body, I curse it.
