The Speaking Blood
[0:00] Welcome. Thank you for choosing to listen to another word-filled message by David Entry. Preaching is the means by which God manifests His word and nourishes our spirits. May the life of God enter into you anew as you listen to this message. Be blessed.
[0:18] Genesis chapter 3. Verse 1. Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field. The serpent. Who? The serpent. The serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field.
[0:37] Really. Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord had made. And he said to the woman, has God indeed said, you shall not eat of every tree?
[0:48] So the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field. His cunningness exposed him. Satan came through him now. Satan had to be cunning. So he looked for the most cunning.
[0:59] And now he entered. The serpent was Satan. Not the created serpent. So any snake you see doesn't mean the devil. But the serpent was embodied in Satan.
[1:12] The way Christ was embodied, our God was embodied in human beings as Christ. The serpent was embodied. So when we see human beings in town, it's not Christ.
[1:25] It's not Christ. But Christ came as one of us so much to the extent that he could represent all of us. When you see man, you see Christ. Okay. Sorry.
[1:35] When you see man, you see the same image. It's just similar as Christ. God came. Christ is simply God in human flesh. Christ is God manifested as humanity.
[1:48] When he was in heaven, he was not Christ. When he came, Christ as Savior, the anointed one. Christ must be a human being.
[1:59] The Christ is a human being. That's why he's still Christ. God is still human. That's God. But he still has his humanity, which has been glorified. But he's God and he took humanity.
[2:14] And that God that has taken humanity is the Christ. Does that make sense? So that's why before Jesus was born, there was no Christ.
[2:27] Christ hadn't come yet. Okay. So, all right. So, the serpent, the devil is called in the scriptures, the serpent.
[2:39] Someone say the serpent. He was more cunning. And he said to the, what did he do? He said to the woman. He said to the woman, but God created the man first.
[2:53] Why did he go to the man first? So, the serpent said to the woman, the serpent said to Eve, has God really said if she didn't eat?
[3:05] The woman also decided to talk back to him. Hallelujah. So, verse 6. So, when the woman saw that the tree was good for food. Hey. You see? The eyes. She saw that the tree was good for food.
[3:18] That it was pleasant to the eyes. Pleasant to the eyes. Oh, my God. Yes. And a tree desirable to make one wise. The tree what? Desirable.
[3:30] The tree what? Desirable. When we talk about desire, which part of your tripartite being, three parts human being, soul, spirit, and body, which part are you talking about?
[3:42] Soul. Soul. Desirable. I want. Desirable. Desirable.
[3:52] Desirable. Desirable to make one wise. Uh-huh. She took of its fruit and ate. Okay. Now, see what she did. The devil reasoned with her.
[4:05] Reasoning. Mind. Where's your mind? Your mind is in your soul. Your soul is made up of your mind, your emotions, or your intellect, which is your mind.
[4:16] Your emotions and your will. I will. So, I want to show you something quickly. The woman saw the enemy, the devil, the serpent negotiated with her.
[4:34] Had a discussion. Appeal to her mind. And then, after appealing to her mind, she saw that this is something you have to desire.
[4:45] Her emotions got involved. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. That makes me feel that the man was standing right near him. See, when you take a man to the house, he was there.
[4:58] He could have spoken. He allowed the man, the woman, to have interaction with the serpent. Afterwards, she beat it. She could have said, hey, no, don't. Yes.
[5:08] And then gave her, take it. And he also took it and ate it. It was supposed to have been the boss or controller of the house. May God give you a man and a husband who will be responsible and protect your family.
[5:25] In Jesus' name. All right. So, he ate it. Okay, what happened? Listen to this. Listen to this. As soon as they ate, what happened? Then the eyes of both of them were opened.
[5:37] And they knew that they were naked. Oh, my way. What is wrong? They knew they were naked. As soon as they beat that thing, something entered them. It wasn't ordinary food.
[5:49] That was not food. That's why they were not supposed to have eaten it. They beat it. Something entered them. And do you know what entered them? The nature of Satan entered them.
[6:01] And their eyes were open. And they realized they were naked. And what did they do? Look at that. And they sewed fig leaves together. Fig leaves. For what? And they sewed what?
[6:11] Fig leaves. Sewed what? Fig leaves. To do what? And made themselves coverings. Coverings. To cover themselves. Leaves. Leaves.
[6:24] Leaves. Leaves. Leaves don't solve the problem. God, leave has not got blood. Leaves. Leaves don't solve the problem.
[6:36] Leaves. You need blood to cover you. That's why. He says that the Lamb of God who was slain from the foundation of the well. Okay. So, they had to cover themselves with leaves.
[6:49] And then God showed up. And God said, Adam. Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, where are you? So, he said, I heard your voice in the garden and I was afraid because I was naked.
[7:03] And I hid myself. And he said, who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat? He said, guilt. Then his conscience was activated.
[7:16] After eating that, he knew I was wrong. Ah, this is wrong. He was. He didn't say, I saw you coming because and I hid because I'm eating. He said, because I was naked.
[7:29] I was naked. Even though they have tried to clothe themselves, they are still running away because that couldn't cover them. God was coming and they were running to cover themselves and hide because it's just like someone is coming to your house and they didn't know that.
[7:42] Then they opened the door and then quickly have to run back into the bedroom. So, they run away because they said, we are naked.
[7:55] I heard your voice. I heard your voice. And God said, have you eaten there? Who told you you are naked? Have you eaten what I told you not to eat?
[8:06] It's not that you didn't know. When he said, where are you? I told you, where are you? That's the first gospel. The gospel has started. The gospel always wants to know where you are standing so that you can find yourself back in God.
[8:18] But I was talking about he saw the fruit was desirable. Raising with the devil, he saw it was desirable. He desired it and he wailed. He used his will to eat. So, that was in the soul.
[8:30] Do you understand what I mean? He engaged the soul. So, the first fall was the fall of the soul. And, oh, man. Can I go a little further? Let me see.
[8:40] So, when they fell, they ate because he desired it. And when they ate, Satan checked into his body. Satan went into humanity. That is why in Romans chapter 7 verse 8, he says that sin lives in me.
[8:55] I was telling you the other time. So, sin entered humanity. Sin entered. And now, man was no more, oh, man. Man was just no more a creature.
[9:06] Just a creature. Or just a being. He was flesh. So, when they ate, Satan entered humanity. And he entered all aspects of their humanity.
[9:21] He affected his soul. Affected his body. He affected his spirit. I will show you in all. The spirit, what happened was that the spirit was insulated against God.
[9:32] The spirit was, it lost, the spirit lost its function to contact God. That function, godly function was switched off because of sin.
[9:44] But the good thing is, I'm about to show you something. This is where I want to end. The good thing is, Satan, when, okay, let me show you that. Read it, read it. Let's see.
[9:55] Read it. Then the man said, the woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree and I ate. Blame. Then, how many of you have children at home? Or you've seen children at home? What happened?
[10:05] What did you eat? No. Why did you eat this one? The blame casting is hithered from the garden. God said, Adam, who told you you are naked? Have you eaten what I asked you to eat?
[10:16] Say yes. Oh, no. He said, the woman whom you gave me. I was minding my business. And you said, it is not good for a man to be alone.
[10:27] And I'll make a help. You gave this woman to me and that's why. And God said to the woman, why did you? Go ahead, go ahead. It's in the Bible. And the Lord God said to the woman, what is this you have done?
[10:42] Oh. The woman said, the serpent deceived me and I ate. The serpent deceived me and I ate. You see, God asked the woman a question.
[10:53] And God asked the man a question. The progression should have gone on. Adam, where are you? I'm hiding. Why? I heard your voice and I was afraid and I hid myself because I was naked.
[11:07] God said, who told you you are naked? Have you eaten the fruit I asked you, the tree I asked you not to eat? He said, no. The woman you gave me, gave me to eat. And God left Adam, went to the woman.
[11:19] What have you done? Why did you eat this thing? The serpent deceived me and I ate it. And God went to the serpent with a question. Let's find out what he did to the serpent. So the Lord God said to the serpent, because you have done this, you are cursed more than all cattle.
[11:36] Judgment came straight. Man, it wasn't judgment. Serpent, it was judgment. But the judgment was interesting. There's no bad news for man. Everything that happened was good news.
[11:47] First one, where are you? Good news. Good news. And he judged the serpent. He said, because you have done this. You are cursed more than all cattle. All cattle.
[11:57] And more than every beast of the field. More than every beast, yes. On your belly, you shall go. That means he used to walk. The serpent used to. He used to. So the devil used to walk.
[12:08] So he said, because you have done this, you crawl on your belly and then he gave him food to eat. What did he say? And you shall eat dust. Read it again from there. Because you have done this, you are cursed more than all cattle.
[12:21] And more than every beast of the field. On your belly, you shall go. And you shall eat dust all the days of your life. For how long will he eat dust? All the days of your life.
[12:33] Chapter 2, verse 7. Verse 7. And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground. Where? Of the dust of the ground. All right, watch this. Listen to this. You are going to learn something new, what I'm about to say.
[12:44] God formed man where? Of the dust of the ground. And then what happened? And breathed into his nostrils the breath of life. The breath of life. And man became what? A living being. A living being.
[12:55] So originally, the only aspect of man that came from God is his spirit. The rest, the soul and the body is from the dust. So when God told the devil, you eat dust all of your life.
[13:11] That means that the fallen human being, we are always subject to the devil. Anytime you pray from your flesh or your soul, Satan will get an advantage over you. The only place he doesn't have access to is your spirit.
[13:24] Wow. That's why you have to do everything possible to build your spirit man. Your marriage. If you are trying to build your marriage just from your soul and your flesh, Satan will reign.
[13:39] Satan will reign. If you are trying to build your life just from your soul and your flesh, Satan will reign. But if you can learn how to develop your spirit and live out of your spirit, you reign.
[13:51] Because the spirit came from God, Satan can have access to the spirit. But the rest of us. So you can be born again and still Satan will be controlling a lot of things in your life. Because you have chosen to be living according to your dust nature.
[14:04] And dust nature, you are meat. You are chief for it. The enemy can just get you. In spite of how many prayers they are doing for you, Satan can get you. Because you are in his territory. Wow.
[14:15] Isn't it amazing? It's amazing. So he said you will eat dust. And then when he came to the man, he told the woman that I will increase the, multiply your sorrow in birth and pain.
[14:29] And you will desire the man and he will rule over you. And then he told the man, you, man, for your sake, the tongues will grow out of the ground. The ground will be made hard for your sake.
[14:40] You will sweat before you eat. Out of the ground, you will dwell to eat. And then when he finished all that, yesterday we got, read of verse 20. And Adam called his wife's name Eve because she was the mother of all living.
[14:55] I remember that I told you, Eve in the Hebrew means life or living. And so he called her Eve. That he had hope that he's going to be the mother of living.
[15:06] Human beings will live because of God's plan to save us. Okay. And he called her name Eve because she's the mother of all living.
[15:17] And what happened? Also for Adam and his wife, the Lord God made tunics of skin. So now God said, me, myself, I'm going to cover you up. So he made tunic of skin.
[15:27] Say tunic of skin. Tunic of skin. Skin. You can't get skin without sharing blood. All right. All right. Now, so when man fell, the first level was he decided to eat.
[15:40] Okay. He desired it. He touched through it with the devil. The serpent. Let's deal with the serpent. Say the serpent. The serpent. Say the serpent.
[15:50] The serpent. Why am I talking about this? I wanted to show you the second level of the fall. Quickly. The second level of the fall. Bible talks about how in Genesis chapter 4 verse 1, God told them to bring sacrifice.
[16:05] Verse 3. What does verse 3 say quickly? Genesis 4. 3. Yeah. Genesis 4. 3. And in the process of time, it came to pass that Cain brought an offering of the fruit of the ground to the Lord. Ah. Cain brought an offering of the fruit of the ground.
[16:18] Don't be like Cain. Your offering must have blood. He is out of his own effort. He has developed and cultivated the crops out of his own effort. Trying to please God out of his own effort.
[16:31] God doesn't like that. That is religion. That's where religion started. Wow. Religion started when man decided to please God from his own, out of his own effort.
[16:42] So in the first fall, they disconnected from God by disobeying God. In the second fall, they even went further. By now developing how they want to please God.
[16:53] God developing. That's the second fall. So he brought offering. And Bible said, I don't like it. So 1 John 3, verse 12. What does it say? 1 John 3, verse 12.
[17:04] What does it say? Interesting. 1 John 3, verse 12. Not as Cain, who was of the wicked one, and murdered his brother. See, Cain was of the devil. Cain. Because he was trying to please God with his own strength.
[17:18] Doing this. God doesn't like sacrifice which is not based on blood. Blood. The blood of the lamb. In the name. He clothed.
[17:28] Oh, pastor. I didn't get a chance to say. He clothed them with tunic. Which is the righteousness. But Jesus shed his blood so that we will become the righteousness of God. In Jeremiah 23, verse 6.
[17:39] It talks about Jehovah Diskenu. Which is God, my righteousness. God, my righteousness. God wants to be. The Bible says that he made him.
[17:49] He made him who knew no sin to be sin. That we might become the righteousness of God in Christ. God, my righteousness. So God wants us to be. He wants him to give us his righteousness.
[18:03] 1 Corinthians 1, verse 30. He talks about Christ has become our righteousness. So the cloth. When he covered them. Adam and Eve. He covered them with his own righteousness.
[18:14] So that he can have interaction with them. And it was pointed to the lamb of God. Which was slain from the foundation of the head. John the Baptist saw Jesus come. He said, behold the lamb of God. Which takes away the sins.
[18:26] Takes away. So their sins was there. But they had to find a lamb. Blood to the cloth. So when he came to worship. Sacrifice. Cain brought the wrong thing. Have you read Jude 11?
[18:37] Look at Jude 11. Cain was mentioned there again. Because Cain's approach to God. Is not what God wants. Don't approach God with your own strength. I am trying.
[18:47] Some of us. Naturally are very patient. So don't use that to think. Because God must give you correct. Your natural patience doesn't please God. It's the patience that is born.
[18:59] Out of your work with the spirit. Out of your dependence on God. Someone get you what I'm saying. Jude 11. What does it say? Word to them. For they have gone in the way of Cain.
[19:09] Hey. If you go in the way of Cain. You are word. Cain. Cain. Interesting. So that's the second level of the fall. And the third level was even bad.
[19:20] So the first level. They disconnected with God spiritually. By not doing. By doing what God said they shouldn't do. The second level. They now went to use their own soul to create what they think they should do.
[19:33] And at the third level now they engaged their bodies. Their bodies. Genesis chapter 6. Now it came to pass. When men began to multiply on the face of the earth.
[19:43] Hey. And daughters were born to them. Hey. Daughters were born. Go ahead. That the sons of God saw the daughters of men. That they were beautiful. And they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose.
[19:56] Hey. And the Lord said. My spirit shall not strive with man forever. Forever. For he is indeed flesh. Flesh. Now that man is really flesh. For fornication and other things have now come in.
[20:09] Wow. Because now the physical body has gotten engaged. Satan contaminated that spirit, soul and body. By trusting stages. The first one was this connection with God and spirit. And then the second one. The soul now began to do everything to try and please God themselves.
[20:22] And then the third one. The body started doing fornication. Hey. And God said. My spirit will no longer strive with man. Because he is flesh. Because the sin has entered us through and through and through.
[20:34] Do you know why? Satan. When they ate of that tree. It was an ordinary tree. When they ate. The nature of Satan checked in.
[20:49] Checked in. Romans 7. The nature of Satan checked into man. So now this nature of Satan must be dealt with. What does it say?
[21:00] But sin. Taken opportunity by the commandment. Produced in me all manner of evil desire. Look at something. Sin has now become. In fact.
[21:11] Let me show you something. I think Genesis 4. Where God told Cain. I forgot in the text. Verse 9. No. It can't be 9. He told Cain that. Verse 18 or 19 or 17.
[21:23] Somewhere there. He said. If you have done the right thing. If you do the right thing. But if you did wrong. Sin is lying at your door. Knocking. Is it verse 7? Verse 7.
[21:33] Read verse 7. If you do well. Will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well. Sin lies at the door. Sin what? Lies at the door. This is not ordinary sin.
[21:44] It's a personality. It's at the door. It's waiting. Some of you. By the time you are going from here. You are full. As soon as you stand on the floor. Sin is lying at the door. Waiting. Now Satan.
[21:54] So sin. Sin now. Is not just. The serpent you are just seeing. He has checked in. And he said. Now sin is living inside. It's a person. Sin. So in Revelation chapter 12 verse 9.
[22:07] Bible talks about. The old serpent. Revelation 12. Now what does it say? So the great dragon was cast out. That serpent of old. Who? See. This dragon.
[22:19] Is that serpent of old. Who is he? Go ahead. Called the devil and Satan. In Revelation. He has not. He's not a dragon. In Genesis he was a serpent. Revelation is a dragon.
[22:30] And it's still called the old serpent. Called Satan. Chapter 20. Verse 2. Look at how they describe him there. This one is even stronger. He laid.
[22:40] Revelation 22. Read it. He laid hold of the dragon. The serpent of old. Oh. Who is the devil and Satan. Did you see that? So who is the dragon? He's the serpent of old.
[22:51] Who is the serpent? The devil and Satan. That's the serpent. He's the serpent. Pastor. So what has this got to do with it? What I want you to learn is that the nature of the serpent entered the human flesh.
[23:04] When we ate. So how do you deal with it? Bible says in John. That's where I'm about to end now. Bible says in John. Chapter 3. Verse 14. Wow.
[23:15] John. John. Chapter 3. Verse 14. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up.
[23:27] This is Jesus talking. He said the way Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness. For what? For what? Numbers 21. Verse 4 to 9. For what? Numbers 21.
[23:39] Yes. Verse 4. Then they journeyed from Mount Hor by way of the Red Sea to go around the land of Edom. And the soul of the people became very discouraged on the way.
[23:50] And the people spoke against God and against Moses. Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? They spoke against God. Against Moses. Yeah, go ahead. For there is no food and no water.
[24:02] And our soul loathes this worthless bread. Oh. So the Lord. The food God gave them, they said this one is worthless bread. Yeah. Sugar bread. Human beings. After I delivered them from Egypt, they were complaining against God and Moses.
[24:17] I don't know. So why have you brought us here to suffer like that? And look at this worthless thing we are eating. Just this worthless bread. Alright, let's finish this thing quickly. So the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people.
[24:30] God sent fiery serpents for their call. Please don't complain. No. That rat, that came into that room. God damn, my God. What's that about that?
[24:42] Aye. It is nothing here. Fiery serpents. Because they complained against Moses. And the manner they were eating was Christ. And they call it worthless bread.
[24:53] Aye. So God removed the hedge and the serpent came down. Sometimes that Bible pushes that when they say sent serpents. In other words, he removed covering. And then they, do you understand?
[25:05] So it's like sent cold air here. How do you send it? Just remove the windows. It will come in. So every one of us is covered by God to a certain level. The Bible says that because when they knew God, they did not glorify him as God.
[25:17] God gave them up to reprobate Romans chapter 1. To reprobate mind. To reprobate thinking. God gave them up. So look at, God sent serpents. Therefore, so the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people.
[25:31] And they bit the people. And many of the people of Israel died. Therefore, the people came to Moses and said, We have sinned. For we have spoken against the Lord and against you. Pray to the Lord that he take away the serpents from us.
[25:45] Okay. So Moses prayed for the people. Then the Lord said to Moses, Make a fiery serpent and set it on a pole. And it shall be that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live.
[25:57] He shall live. The venom of death was in the people. But he said, make a fiery serpent, a bronze serpent. It's not an actual serpent. This is the same as the one that was biting them.
[26:07] But this one, it didn't have poison. That one had the poison. And he said, put it on a pole. So that anyone who is bitten, if you can lift up your eyes, to look at this thing, immediately the poison inside you will be neutralized.
[26:22] Now, Jesus said, The way Moses lifted the serpents in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted. John 3.14.
[26:36] Read it again. And as Moses lifted up the serpents in the wilderness, Have you seen something? In the wilderness? Yes. Even so, Even so, Must the Son of Man be lifted up?
[26:48] The Son of Man must, because that serpent was foreshadowing the Son of Man. We have all been beaten by this old serpent. The dragon. The venom is inside.
[26:59] You are a venom carrier. Wow. All of us. Yeah. Because it's checked in. But he said, If you lift, so must the Son. So when Jesus was on the cross, he was not just dying.
[27:13] He was, he was breaking the venom of the devil. Breaking it. On the cross. That's why in John 1st, John 3.8, he says that, For this apostle, the Son of God manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
[27:28] In Hebrews 2.14, he says that, because the Son of the flesh and blood, he also became the same. So that through death, he might destroy the one who has the power of death. So the cross, he went to the cross to destroy the venom in man.
[27:42] So that those of us who, if you can look up to him, the venom will have an influence over you. The reason why you are still struggling in your Christian life is because you have become Christian, but now you are still operating in the, in the, in the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, in your strength.
[27:58] But if you can keep looking up to Jesus, the venom will lose its hold. The reason why your addiction problem hasn't gone, even though you are born again, is because you are not looking up to Jesus.
[28:09] If you can look up to Jesus, the power of the flesh, the power of the serpent, the power of that enemy in your life, will lose its hold. Shout hallelujah! Hallelujah!
[28:21] The venom came into us, but he went on the cross. He went on the cross. He said, ah, he said, and if I be lifted up, John chapter 12, verse 31, 32, and if I be lifted up, I will draw all men.
[28:44] He says that the world, he said, read it, John chapter 12, talks about judgment. Read it. Now is the judgment of this world. The judgment of this world, when you see the word world, it's, in the Greek word, it's, in the Greek, it's eons, systems.
[28:59] When he said, love not, the devil has created a very comprehensive system to keep us away from the purpose of God. That is why the more you want to live worldly, or the more you think about the normal, the natural systems of the world, the more you are, it's keeping you away from church, keeping you away from righteousness, keeping you away from God.
[29:19] Because the system has been programmed to, to stifle God out of you. The working systems, financial systems, social systems, have been, Satan is behind it, created an effective system, say system.
[29:34] So the more you focus, the way worldly people think and focus, the more you miss God. So you can be born again, but worldly, and you are missing God. Demas, love this present world, and has left for Thessalonica, 2 Timothy, chapter 4, verse 10.
[29:50] Demas, love the present world, and has forsaken me, has left for Ayana. Is someone getting what I'm saying?
[30:02] The world. So it says, now, finish it. John chapter 12, verse 31. Now is the judgment of this world. Now the ruler of this world will be cast out. So, when he was about to go to cross, he said, now, the judgment has come.
[30:16] Now, Satan is about to be judged, because I'm about to go to, and listen to what he said, verse 32. And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, I am lifted up from the earth, on the cross, will draw all peoples to myself.
[30:27] I will now draw all peoples to myself. But before then, interest before then, about, eight verses before then, he said, that, except a corn of, a grain of wheat falls to the ground.
[30:40] He said, I have to fall to the ground. And at the same time, he said, if I be lifted up, so we transfer, is he falling or is he being lifted? Both of the twice. Both of the twice. He's falling to the ground, so that he can produce much grain, can produce many sons to God.
[30:55] He's being lifted, so that he can draw us to himself. He can draw us to, somebody shout, hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Thank you for listening to this message by David Entry.
