[0:00] Welcome. Thank you for choosing to listen to another faith-building message by Pastor David Entry. Faith comes by hearing and by hearing the Word of God.

[0:12] May your knowledge of Jesus Christ increase as you listen. Be blessed. How to keep Isaac. Keeping Isaac. How to keep Isaac.

[0:26] How many of you are ready for that? How to keep Isaac. When you find God, let any other thing go. Because if you can have God, all the other things will come back in a better shape and better form.

[0:44] He said that, buy the truth and don't sell it. Proverbs chapter 23 verse 23. Buy it. Invest into seeking what is of God.

[0:57] Invest. When it comes to godliness, it requires investment. Too many of us invest our energies and our lives on things that are not eternal. Things that don't have eternal value.

[1:10] He said in Proverbs 23, 23, buy the truth and sell it not. Don't compromise on God's Word. Don't compromise on God's Word you have. Because that is what will give you a guaranteed future.

[1:25] In Isaiah chapter 55 verse 1, he said, Everyone who thirsts, come to the water. And you who have no money, come buy.

[1:35] You see, it doesn't take, the way you are chasing money, it doesn't always take money. He said, come, you who don't have money, come, buy. In Revelation chapter 3 verse 18, it talks about how, he says that, Revelation chapter 3 verse 18, I counsel you, buy from me gold, gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich, and white garments, that you may be clothed, that you're shaved.

[2:01] And then he says that, and anoint your eyes with eyesalves, that you may see. There are some business opportunities and serious blessings that are passing people day by day because they couldn't see.

[2:16] You just walked past a gold mine. You just sold a gold mine. The land that could change your entire destiny, filled with gold, you didn't know, because you couldn't see.

[2:28] You sold it for something little. May God touch our eyes with eyesalves today. May God touch your eyes with eyesalves.

[2:40] Is it possible that that job you are trying to chase is keeping you away from the job that is supposed to come to you? Is it possible that that relationship you are fighting to hold on to is keeping you away from the relationship that will change your life for good?

[2:55] If you learn how to live it in a sense, then he will keep it for you. Abba talks about how we are kept by the power of God.

[3:07] In 1 Peter chapter 1. Praise the Lord. How to keep Isaac. God's agenda is to make you a vessel.

[3:17] But you can't be God's vessel. Based on what you know, what you have. In Genesis itself, Genesis tells us the story of creation.

[3:29] And then after we are told about the story of creation, we get to know about Noah. And then after knowing about Noah, we have the privilege of knowing about Abraham.

[3:44] So Adam and then his family and Seth and Enoch and Noah and Abraham. Jesus, is it interesting?

[3:55] Jesus never said, before Noah, I am. He said, before Abraham, I am. He never said, before Enoch.

[4:08] Remember, Hebrews chapter 11 mentioned Enoch. Mentioned Abel. So he said, by faith, Abel offered. By faith, verse 5 of Hebrews chapter 11.

[4:21] By faith, Enoch worked with God and he was no more. Or he was not. For God took him. And before God took him, he had the testimony that he worked with God. And we know that without faith, it's impossible to please God.

[4:34] Therefore, he who comes to God must believe and know that he is the reward of those who diligently seek him. By faith, Noah obeyed God. Hallelujah.

[4:49] I told you I feel like preaching. Preaching. By faith, Noah. Then he went on to talk. By faith, Abraham obeyed God. He obeyed when he was asked to leave his house. Not knowing where he was going.

[5:01] That's preposterous. As old as you are, Abraham, you leave home not knowing where you were going. Pack your stuff. Not that he was taking a stroll.

[5:12] He left home. The word left home. He just packed his things and left. Relocated. He was relocated. Where are you relocating? I just don't know. So, what are you doing? Because God told me.

[5:25] And when he told you, didn't he tell you the destination? No. He always won't tell you the destination. What do you think?

[5:37] Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. If the way is a person, then the destination is a person. So, God didn't have to explain himself to Abraham to tell him that I'm taking you somewhere.

[5:51] He said, just leave and I will show you where I'm taking you to. And if you want to be solid in your work with God as the people of God, you must understand that God is the God of Abraham, not the God of Noah.

[6:04] Even though he had some dealings with Noah, he chose to call himself the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Did it start with Abraham? No. But what's so unique about Abraham?

[6:16] Because in Abraham, something started. Something started which God identifies with and his people must know. That's what Jesus said. Before Abraham, I am.

[6:28] In John chapter 8, verse 58. Before Abraham, I am. And the Jews picked up stones to stone him. They said, you haven't seen Abraham. You haven't seen.

[6:40] He said, you are not yet 50 years old. Yes, you are saying that Abraham saw my days. He said, your father Abraham desired to see my days and he saw it and he was glad. Abraham was looking at something.

[6:54] From the day he was called. He was looking at these days. The days of Jesus. Because he's, oh, I feel like preaching. His calling, his calling was rooted into I have been here.

[7:08] Yes. Yes. And so when God called Abraham Genesis chapter 12. But the Lord has said to Abraham, get thee out of your, Genesis chapter 12, verse 4, verse 1.

[7:19] Get thee. Let's all read it together. Is that okay to read it out loud from verse 1? Let's go. Are you ready? Let's go. Let's go. Now, the Lord has said to Abraham, get out of your country, from your family, and from your father's house to a land that I will show you.

[7:33] Verse 2. I will make you a great nation. I will bless you and make your name great. And you shall be a blessing. Verse 3. And I will bless those who bless you and I will curse him that curses you.

[7:48] And in you, all the families of the earth shall be blessed. Amen. Say amen. Amen. Verse 1. Now, now, now the Lord said to Abraham, get out of your family, from the families of the earth to a land which I will show you.

[8:04] Starting with a land. Come on, get out. I'm going to show you. So when God called Abraham, first of all, he promised him a land. Okay. He promised to give him a land.

[8:16] And then, he also came to him and promised to give him a child. So in Genesis chapter 15, when God showed up in Abraham's life, God said, I am your shield and exceeding great reward.

[8:27] Genesis chapter 15, verse 1. Abraham, I'm your shield and exceeding great reward. Because Abraham had just gone for a battle, his first battle with the three kings, and he has defeated all of them. And that's when he met Melchizedek, king of Salem.

[8:40] And the Melchizedek, king of Salem, blessed him. He said, blessed be Abraham of the most high God. In Genesis chapter 14, verse 15, verse 18, 19, and 20 there. And then in verse 21, 22 somewhere, he met the king of Sodom.

[8:53] And the king of Sodom gave him, he says that, can I give you this? He said, give me the, whatever, the people, and I'll give you a promise to give that. Abraham said, no, I've swore that I will not take anything from any man so that you don't say, I have made Abraham rich.

[9:13] He knew that. He didn't want anybody to say, I'm behind Abraham's wealth. That's why you have to be very careful when you are saying that. That's why this church is because of me.

[9:24] That's why I've given a lot. That's why God will take you out quickly. He will eliminate you and bring you to where you must be. He said, I will build my church.

[9:35] And the gates of hell cannot prevail against the church. You can't build a church. You don't have what it takes to build a church. Even look at your family. Think about it.

[9:50] You can't build a church. No pastor can own a church and build a church. Then earlier you stop saying that, I'm older than a pastor. I'm going to a church, I'm older than a pastor.

[10:01] I'm older than a pastor. I won't go to a church. No, no, no, no. Don't say that. Don't say that. That doesn't look good on you. Say that. Look good on you. At your age, if you say that, it makes you look like you are not that old.

[10:15] You go to a GP, you are older than a pastor. Going to give you medication. Most of the pilots, if you travel, most of the pilots you have been flying with are younger than you.

[10:31] You go to hospital and then they say that the surgeon comes. And the specialist comes. The consultant comes. They say, we have to take you. But your father is younger than your grandchild. Are you getting what I'm saying?

[10:49] Hmm. He said that you can't build a church. Abraham said, I won't allow you to think you are behind my success. If you have any. Oh, Jesus.

[11:00] Thank you, Lord. Hey. If you have anybody you can point your success to. Any job you can point your success to. God is not behind it. This church, we can't point to anybody being behind what is happening.

[11:21] Papa said, if I look up to him and he said, not no man dead or alive can claim he's behind the great things God is doing here. How can a pastor claim to be the one in charge?

[11:32] You are not in charge. You're not in charge. Too small. Too small. You have been granted the privilege to lead the precious work.

[11:48] Yes. But you are easily dispensable. Yes. Yes. Yes. Oh. It doesn't take that time. You just, you just were asleep once.

[11:59] Yes. Even that. There are different things that, there are different things that can get you out, go out of them. God can get anybody. Listen.

[12:09] Listen. God can easily get anybody out of his way. You didn't hear what I said? God. God. I don't believe it.

[12:20] God. You stay in his way. You find out that he's there. God can get anybody out of his way. Anybody. What did I say? Anybody.

[12:31] Including your job. Including your money. A lot of money you have. He thought you saved. Including anything you hold on to.

[12:43] If he's going to work with you, he's going to teach you how to take your eyes off any other thing. And keep your eye on him. That's what today's message is about.

[12:57] Abraham. Come out. Of your father's house. To a land. So he promised him a land. And then when he came to sonship. God said, I've blessed you. Abraham. See. You have blessed me. But a foreigner will be my heir.

[13:08] Genesis chapter 15. He said, no. And Lazarus of the man's cause will not be your heir. But one. Born from your own lois. Shall be your heir. Huh? Before you called me, my wife has been barren.

[13:20] Myself. I can't give birth. So we can't have a child. How can you say? Someone. And I'm so rich now. I'm so wealthy. And I know when I die, someone is going to take over my estate.

[13:30] And God told Abraham, no. The issue of sonship, I'm going to solve it for you. And so Sarah, after waiting for a while after God, spoke to Abraham in Genesis chapter 15.

[13:41] I'm going to give you a child from your own body. Sarah realizing that this is getting delayed. She decided to tell Abraham that Abraham, you know, it seems like I am not qualified to help me that need.

[13:52] So use my other, my maid so she can produce children for you. And Abraham also acquiesced. No, actually he acquiesced. He just embraced it. He was very happy about the idea.

[14:03] So he went into it. Abraham accepted it. He accepted the offer. The deal is a good deal. Oh, man. Let's get on business. And went into Hagar.

[14:14] And guess what? Asked Sarah. Sarah was right, you know. Ah, I feel like preaching. Sarah was right, you know. Sarah was right, you know.

[14:25] She was right. But she wasn't in God's program. Not everything that looks good is God. Everything that sounds good is God.

[14:40] Asked Sarah, let me put it this way. Not everything that sounds good is sound. Hallelujah. Sarah was right because, why do I say she was right to a stand?

[14:55] She said, I can't have a child. And this lady who is serving my mate, she's my property. I can give her to you. And you can produce children by her. And Abraham went into her.

[15:06] And true to Sarah's word, she conceived. And Hagar produced Ishmael. And Sarah said, wow, finally God has done it for my husband, Abraham.

[15:17] Abraham must be a happy man. And Abraham lost fellowship with God for 13 years because of that ungodly, unhealthy detour. And for 13 years, he didn't have, he wasn't hearing from God, no fellowship.

[15:31] And then in Genesis chapter 17, God comes back to him and said, God will not give up on you. I said, God will not give up on you. God will not give up on you.

[15:43] And so God came back to Abraham and said, you know what? Walk before me. I'm the Lord your God. When he was 99 now, walk before me and be perfect. God had to wait for something to die. God waited for his body to be, to be fruitless.

[15:55] Because at 99, he can't give birth. So God waited. God waited. Because something, listen, something must die for God to produce Isaac. Something must die.

[16:06] When Abraham was dead, his body was dead. And Sarah's womb was dead. So now two problems. Sarah's womb couldn't carry children because she was past that age. I like the way Fritzka puts it.

[16:17] He said that by faith, Hebrews chapter 11 verse 11. Oh, Hebrews chapter 11 verse 11. I like the 11, 11. No, and then 23, 23. And those two. I just, Matthew 8. I like those two. But God waited. When Sarah's womb was dead.

[16:29] So Bible said by faith, Sarah herself received strength to conceive seed. When she was past, she's strength. And she brought a child when she was past the age. She'd gone past that possibility.

[16:40] But by faith, clocks seem to be reversed. By faith. God. See, it doesn't take time. It takes time. Shout hallelujah.

[16:53] Hallelujah. So God had to wait for Sarah's womb to be dead. God had to wait for Abraham's body to be dead. Oh, I like to preach from the Bible. But when they died, when Sarah's womb died and Abraham's body died, God said, now, step aside.

[17:10] See me do my thing. Amen. And so in Genesis chapter 21, in Genesis chapter 21, verse 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. The Bible says that, and it came to pass, and it came to pass, the Lord visited Sarah as he has said, and the Lord did to Sarah as he has spoken.

[17:27] Verse 2, for Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age. Sarah? You mean Sarah? Yes, I'm talking about Sarah. Sarah couldn't conceive. Yes, she couldn't conceive.

[17:37] So what happened? God happened. Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age at the same time which God has spoken to him. Abraham called the name of his son, who Sarah born to him.

[17:50] Say Isaac. Isaac. Isaac is the promised child. That's what God has always said. So it doesn't matter what dies. God is coming. Isaac is coming. I say Isaac is coming. I say Isaac is coming.

[18:01] But the next one, the next one. Then Abraham circumcised him at the eighth day and ask God as commanded. See, ask God as commanded. Verse 5, no, Abraham was 100 years old when his son Isaac was born.

[18:15] Why? An old man's boy. Isaac was an old man's boy. Abraham was a father of a baby.

[18:28] A baby's father. But old man's boy, Isaac. Praise God. Oh, man. Man, let me work this quickly. So, so, so, so, so, Isaac, Isaac, Isaac was born.

[18:39] You know, but, but Isaac, Isaac became so precious to Abraham because he waited for Isaac for so many years. And he didn't have hope and Isaac came. And so, Isaac became the core of his life because he knew God told him in your seed, Isaac.

[18:54] He wanted the blessing to come on Ishmael. But God said, no. No, not Ishmael. Not Ishmael. Ishmael is from the flesh. Ishmael is from the flesh. Isaac is of grace. I only work of grace.

[19:06] Keep Ishmael. But in Galatians, go and read Galatians chapter 4. It's there. God said, no, not in Ishmael, but in Isaac. So, Isaac held on. Abraham held on to Isaac because he knew that Isaac, Genesis.

[19:18] Oh, shall we go to Genesis? Let's go to Genesis. And then, then, then, then. I have to work this. Genesis chapter 22. Let me take my Bible. Genesis chapter 22, verse 1. Now it came to pass after these things that God tested Abraham.

[19:29] Mm-mm. And said to him, Abraham. He said, yes, I'm here. And he said, yeah, I am. He said, then the Lord said, take now your son. Your only son, Isaac.

[19:41] Eh? Yes? Who you love. Yes, I love him very much. And go to the land of Moriah. Eh? And offer him, eh? There as a bench offering. Did you? And one of the mountains which I shall tell you.

[19:56] God, do you mean that? No, you can't mean what you're saying. God can't mean that. No. God can't mean that. Are you trying to tell me God is confused?

[20:08] God can't mean that. Why can't God mean that? Because what did he just say? God said, take your only son, Isaac. At least Ishma would have been an easier option. I want to show you why Ishma would have been an easier option.

[20:25] Most of us are getting rid of the coins. God, Philip, God is not looking for your leftover. May I advise anyone who is young here?

[20:38] Use your strength, your beauty, your intelligence, your smartness to serve God now. Don't wait until you are so old. But the truth is that it gets to a time when you can't do some things you could have done previously.

[20:55] If you don't know that, then I think you should really pray that God will help you to understand things early in life. Because a time is coming when you can't do what you can do now.

[21:08] A time is coming. Because, listen, you don't have all the time on your side. You are running out of time.

[21:22] You think you'll be like this forever? You are rapidly running out of time. So God waited for Abraham for something to die.

[21:33] But a good thing is that he gave him Isaac. And God told Abraham, watch this. Now let's go back to the text I'm reading. He said, bring your only son Isaac whom you love. Say, your only son. Your only son.

[21:43] That's a serious one. He said, now it came to pass and the Lord said to Abraham, verse 2. Genesis 22, verse 2. He says that, take now your son, your only son Isaac whom you love and go to the land of Moriah and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains which...

[22:04] No, God, you can't mean that. God can't mean that. Please, let's stretch this whole thing to its logical conclusion. Because if God had said Ishmael, it would have made perfect sense.

[22:19] Because Ishmael is really not essential in the grand scope of things when it comes to Abraham fulfilling God's purpose for his call. But in the center of the call of God for Abraham was the issue of Isaac.

[22:37] So first of all, three-fold of his call, first on land, God settled him. But after he was settled in the land, he knew he needed a son. And God, he was tested on all fronts concerning the son.

[22:51] And God gave him a son. And now, after God gave him a son, God said, get rid of him. But why did he give it to him then?

[23:02] Hebrews. This is the crux of... Hebrews chapter... Hebrews chapter 11, verse 17. Someone say, thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Hebrews chapter 11, verse 17 is quite an interesting text.

[23:15] By faith, Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac. And he who had... Watch this. Watch this. This is a serious one. He who had received the promise...

[23:29] Let's read it from the screen. Let's read it from the screen. Is it okay we all read it from the screen? Let's go. By faith, Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac. And he who had received the promises of God to the people of the son.

[23:44] He who had received the promise of... But what's wrong with that? If you have received the promise, that doesn't mean you can't offer some things. No, that is not a problem.

[23:55] But the problem there, which will throw all of us into conundrum, is the next verse. Verse 18. Verse 18 was giving a highlight on Isaac.

[24:08] Let's read it out loud. Let's go. Watch. The womb is not referring to Abraham. Isaac. Let's read it again. On whom it was said, in Isaac your seed shall be called.

[24:21] God said, I'll bless your seed. And he said, this seed I'm going to bless and multiply you. They will be called in Isaac. So Isaac needed to be alive for God's purpose in Abraham's life to be fulfilled.

[24:35] So then, it will be very oxymoronic for God to ask Abraham to offer Isaac in whom his seed shall be blessed.

[24:48] Because how many of you agree with me that dead people don't give birth? Dead people do not reproduce. Jesus. So then, that was a real problem.

[25:03] Okay. But why? Knowing the story doesn't mean you know Jesus. I know the story. But when we're growing up, the story of Abraham and Isaac was just...

[25:16] When we grew up in church, it's just about sacrifice. sacrifice so God tested sacrifice but I'm going to understand that it's not just about sacrifice it's not about sacrifice but Abraham was tested to offer his son that's why he offered Isaac not just that the problem with the Isaac offering of Isaac was God's plan was hinged to Isaac not just Isaac Isaac's existence so if you get rid of Isaac then you have just put everything on hold and stopped everything but God you can't promise me one thing and come and stop the process and that's why I'm going now God promises you one thing and now he comes back and says I'm stopping the process no you can't change your word you have to keep your so Abraham had to switch from just being an ordinary man to switch into the realm of faith now what did he do when God asks him to offer Isaac you can sacrifice Isaac but you can't sacrifice God and God has to teach you has to teach you that you know

[26:26] Isaac is not indispensable you Isaac can be disposed Isaac can be put aside Isaac can be out of the way and yet I will still fulfill my purpose but your purpose is supposed to be fulfilled in Isaac he said yes what you need for me to fulfill my purpose is me now Abraham had been working with God all these years and now he's been blessed by God and he has a problem on his hands what's the problem?

[26:59] he has got Isaac whom he loves and he has got God you know he's got God and Isaac whom he loves and you know you can't use your two eyes to look into one bottle one must go so God said for me to remain watch this when you didn't when you didn't have a job it was easy to give God your all when you didn't have a child it was easy to make yourself available always to God when you didn't have money it was easy to be the first to be in church now that you are driving a Bentley now that you are driving a Bentley the time of your arrival has been significantly changed when you didn't have beautiful shoes and red soles and stuff like that you will come to church early and stay but now you bought some new dresses new shoes new suits so you come in at a time when praise and worship is finished so that ushers can usher you and then you will be walking like a cartoonic character you know that's the way cartoons work like Shrek

[28:24] I like the way he works very funny so we can all see how God has blessed you God will come after what you call your blessing if he gave it to you he wants your eyes to be on him anything that takes you away from God is just preparing your funeral I think you've got a very good job when you are offered a job anyway to relocate the first question you should ask is one that place I am going is there a place I can fellowship and keep my spiritual life alive don't accept the job now you move you are asking do you know do you know if there are churches here where I can go it's like you are a mother or a father of five children or four children three wonderful children intelligent children who are under 10 and you are being given a job offer in a place where there are no schools say oh don't worry we'll take it like that

[29:33] I'll try and do home home school meanwhile your job demand is so high most of the time you'll be out of home and you accepted a job what have you done wrong in life that money has blinded you to just come to see am I communicating to somebody so Abraham God said okay Abraham he tested him to see where his heart is and he said give me Isaac in whom I told you your seed shall be blessed and Abraham was a bit confused but in Isaac my seed shall be blessed he said bring him sacrifice him offer him on the altar for me but Abraham had worked with God to a standard now he has developed a very high confidence in God he had to switch and remember who God is so you know what he did he broke up 11 verse 18 and 19 let's go to the verse 19 let's go read it from the screen because what time read it from the screen he said Abraham verse 18 makes a sense let's go to verse 18 quickly of whom it was said in Isaac shall your seed be called alright verse 19

[30:34] Abraham offered him concluding so I think it's from 17 to 19 makes sense look at verse 17 by faith Abraham when he was tested when he offered up Isaac what did he do offered up Isaac think about it he actually did God tested him but he did some of you think oh God did he did Bible said he offered him up I'm teaching you how to keep Isaac because God Jesus he offered up Isaac watch this and he who had received the promise offered his only begotten son go to verse 19 verse 18 is like parenthetical statement verse 19 says why did he offer him he offered him concluding that God God was able because if God said in Isaac shall that he still be blessed then God knows how to fix it himself I will allow God to create the problem because he can fix it himself so so so he offered up

[31:35] Isaac concluding that God was able to raise him God was able to raise him up watch this watch this even from the dead huh watch this from which he also received him in the figure watch this watch this time will not permit so actually all along he hadn't received Isaac he didn't have Isaac he thought he had Isaac but he couldn't keep it the only way he could keep it Isaac was to pass that test of letting God have him and so the word figurative the word he received in a figurative sense is the original Greek word is parabolic which is a parable okay it is like um the parable is something that comes alongside it's like it's like okay likeness figurative so Isaac actually didn't die but symbolically he actually received him symbolically he received him from the dead so when they were going to kill Isaac he knows he has already received him so he didn't have a problem he took that because if God is going to do it by Isaac if you are going to keep Isaac then you must let's obey God enough to say

[32:57] God have him the only way to keep your wife your husband your children's future intact by learning let God have them let God have him let God have I find a problem when a wife a wife complains about her husband that my husband is praying too much I was going to check to hey man man man sister you are safe if he's in God oh because if he's not in God nowadays that fabric has become very scarce fabric has become very scarce so almost every woman doesn't have enough cloth for material to cover them fully because fabric is scarce because of climate change we are trying to reduce carbon emissions so fabric has become scarce nowadays even the waistline is going down the neckline is going down everything the bottom lap is coming up the side lap is shrinking in everything looks small small small and then the originality of the things that cause troubles to some people are beginning to now also grow up nowadays sir our modern day women are more sophisticated everything can be bought everything so all you have to just buy it and you look it and men get easily distracted by what keeps them is their heart for

[34:43] God you call their eye troubles if you want to sell things to men Porsche cars when they are outdooring cars they have to go and bring certain type of robotic people the man can't just pass so if you buy the car he comes with the woman you are not safe God is who keeps you safe you are not safe you call nowhere cool there is storm everywhere in life things are getting grimmer and grimmer and darker and darker but Bible says that the path of the righteous shines brighter and brighter and brighter and brighter your godliness is not helping somebody it's helping you working with God going to church reading your Bible you are not doing a pastor a favor if you like stay at home don't go and give yourself some time we will see who the impression will be on we have been deceived to think that the church needs me the church doesn't actually need you you need a church give me

[36:04] Isaac not because he wants to punish you but he wants to help you to keep Isaac the only way you can keep Isaac is by offering him back to God now when you offer Isaac back to God you complete the process God has been trying to do in your life watch this he gave him a land he gave him a son and when Abraham offered Isaac God Genesis chapter 22 verse 16 Bible says God spoke from heaven and he said Abraham watch this Abraham had not lost Isaac because to Abraham he had already received him from the resurrection now why the resurrection because the resurrection anything that comes from the resurrection you can't hold on to it God is the only one who can hold on to the things he gives you you can't hold on to the promise of God with your hands it takes God God is the only one who can if God gave you that job leave the keeping for him to do for you and

[37:08] Genesis chapter 22 verse 16 Bible says that God said by myself I've sworn says the Lord because you have done this thing and have not retelled your son your only son bless him I will bless you and multiply watch this that's the threefold of Abraham's lesson this couldn't have happened if he had not passed the Isaac test threefold blessing and then a blessing I'll bless you and multiplying I will multiply your descendants I will multiply your descendants at the stars of heaven and as the sun which is on the seashore and your descendants possess the gates of your enemies go to the next one in your no before then verse 17 I will finish verse 17 bless him I'll bless you verse 18 said and in your seed all the nations of the earth be blessed because you have obeyed my voice so first of all the promise of the land was secured the promise of him and his descendants multiply and being in dominion was secured but not just that the last one which was the most important that God

[38:31] Abraham was the only person in the Bible called father he was the only one who was referred to the father Abraham the only one why because Abraham learned how to allow God to be the father God being the father means that he's the initiator he's the source everything can originate everything comes from him if you can know that your future your health your marriage your career your children your image everything you are trying to secure if you can know it and train yourself to what we got to the standard you know that it's God who provides it then you become it puts you in authority to be over things and so Abraham now first of all he got the land he and his descendants were blessed God and then number three he became the conduit to be a blessing to humanity now that's what God was looking for someone I can be I can use as a vessel you can be God's vessel based on

[39:35] Bible school you can be God's vessel based on your intelligence or your eloquence you can be God's vessel based on prayer someone prayed for you you can be God's vessel based on how you have settled this issue that God is the source of everything that can happen in your life now if you don't have that knowledge God can't use you you become redundant in Isaac shall your seed be blessed keep me Isaac he offered him whom he received so before they went he had already received the boy father this is the wood this is the knife but where is the lamb he said don't worry God will provide for himself a lamb God knows how to sort out what has to be done but he said for I am resolute to obeying God and when he got into that state God said now I finish preparing you as a father we can move on to the next stage so for you to have God to know God as father God of Abraham you must know him as the one from whom all blessings flow from whom all good things come

[40:45] I like the Bible the Bible says that all good and perfect gifts come from above come from the father of light with whom there is no partiality all good so it doesn't matter your age it doesn't matter your position it doesn't matter if you can look up to God he's I pray for somebody here Abraham received Isaac before he God said don't kill him he received him that's how to keep Isaac by letting God be true you will not be put to shame God is helping somebody here God is helping somebody here God is delivering you from your shame delivering you from trouble delivering you from every evil in the name of Jesus shall God is enough shall God is my source shall God is enough

[41:45] God is my source he knows how to take care of you you'll be fine trust him stop listening to the wrong people know in your heart God is calling you to a higher plane you know in your heart you hate God God has been talking to you know you know that this is me this is me this is me this is me I came to tell someone God wants you to keep Isaac the only way to keep him is by being ready to offer him thank you for listening to hear more from David Entry follow him on Facebook Instagram Twitter and LinkedIn why don't you subscribe to our YouTube channel at Carish Church and subscribe to our podcast so you are always up to date be blessed
